It makes a preacher's job much, much easier. Hallelujah. Now see that was a good point for all you preachers to say. Amen. They get here for the Benson before we do and spend a lot of time. You and I can just go pray and be by ourselves and kind of be on our own schedule, but they work hard. And I know you feel a little bit of that preparing for live and we're expecting the Lord to just do what he always does, which is fulfill his promise to be in the presence where two or three are called by his name. Man, we don't have time to dig into that today. I wish we did. I want to go to the word of the Lord, Exodus chapter 13. I'm just going to read a couple of verses, but let me, would you be okay? Let me just say this. I'm going to thank Brother and Sister Galliam for their relentless leadership and the passion and commitment that they give. It's, it's right. Give honor to whom honors do. Amen. You don't maybe get to see them as much outside of this book. How many of you have been at a camp meeting or a conference where Brother and Sister Galliam have been ministering? Raise your hands up high. Look around. Okay. That shows you that's about at least half the chapel right now. So that shows you they're touching people all over our movement. And I appreciate the crazy schedule you all keep and what you do for the King and Bishop. Thank you for being here today. Sure. I love you very much. Exodus chapter 13. I'm going to read just two verses. It came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines. Although that way was near. For God said, let's pre-adventure the people repent when they see war and return to Egypt. But God led the people about through the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. The children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. I'm just I don't know if it's going to be preach or talk or what the day, but I just want to touch somebody's heart. I just want to try to convince you with the help of the Holy Ghost that he knows how to get you there. He knows the way. Would you pray with me one more time for these next few moments, Lord? We come to you with as much humility as we know how. The vast array of talent that anointing in this room is often intimidating, Lord. So we come to you asking you for help today. Let the oxygen of your spirit guide, Lord, these poor lips of clay, God, as we try to communicate what we feel in our heart. We love you today, God. We trust you. Lead on you in Jesus' name in Jesus' name. Thank you for standing. You can be seated. He knows how to get you there. This is a fascinating little bit of history where the children of Israel are our brother Galion. They're coming out off that great high of seeing how the Lord has ultimately provided by what the scripture calls executing his judgments and executing his wonders against the gods of Egypt. And again, we can't go too long here today, but you do understand that God didn't sneak them out some backdoor. He was demonstrating to all of Egypt that these are my people and I am invested in them and I promise you that the Lord is going to demonstrate who has chosen it. Brother Kaiser, at the end of the day, every Egyptian knew that the God of Israel was more powerful than every God in Egypt. So much so that by the time they get into Canaan land, they're already the stories already made it there ahead of them. Isn't this the God brother by the cult that smote the Egyptians? And isn't this the one that executed wonders and all of Jericho is trembling in fear because these are the people that are attached to the living God? What a moment there they are. They've had to pass over the exodus and and you ready? God has led them out and they're and you ready? They're just a short week away. All they have to do brother Galion is head north and go east and they're going to be in the Canaan land. They're going to execute the promises bishop and the Lord everything that was promised to all the patriarchs are going to be realized. And then God takes him on a detour. Scripture says it this way. It came to pass that when Pharaoh had let the people go. Now I just couldn't remind somebody today. Now I'm gonna give you about five points for all you sermonizers. You ready? Brother Matthews, you ready? Victory is not static. I know many of you, in my opinion, everybody in this room has paid a price to be here. And I don't know what roads you had to walk, but I promise you that we could pass around the mic today and each one of you could tell about the personal journey that you've been on with the Lord and he's walked you through some things already to get here. He just you ready? You just need to understand, maybe testify a little bit. You don't know the battles I had to face to get where I am today. You don't know the road that he's brought me on. You don't know Sister LaJoy, the things he's already seen me through. The miraculous touch of God, the provision some of you have thought. Now forgive me, I'm gonna be a little pointed today. Some of you have had to fight family to get here. Some of you had to fight people saying you don't need to do that. You need to make money. And some of you had to fight those issues to even answer the call of God. I dare say there are people in this room, Brother Daniel, that people are back slidding for going through less than what you've already faced. You ready? Some of you need to say he brought me through. He brought me out. He made a way when there was no way. But victory is not static. Or to say in another way, hell is not going away because you had one victory. So the Lord knows what's happening in the lives of the children of Israel. And he knows that just because you've had a mighty demonstration of my power, Brother Eads, there's some other things in your future. And God says I know how to get you where you want to go. All right? And what it was that looked like, Brother Kilman, I'm gonna, I'm gonna say some things to you. That when I was, I was praying about this and trying to wrestle down what I felt the Lord was wanting me to say, I'm gonna, I'm gonna tell you some things today. Because some of you are wondering if that's true and the Lord has provided. Why isn't it, Brother Galliam? Because, see, God could have done the miraculous. I mean, he could have went and bought all the battles for him. He could have wiped out those 24 Egyptians, kind of strongholds along the way. Went all the way up through Phoenician, handled the Philistines. God could have done it, right? He could have put a money tree in your backyard. Some of you are wondering if I, am I even called here? God, I thought I heard from you and I, I thought you directed me to do some things, Lord. But now the pressure's on. And God's saying, yes, I know the pressure's on, but hell is not in charge of your life. I have designed the road to get you where you need to go and you don't know the way. But if you'll just keep your hand in my hand, I can get you there. That's why Paul tells, and you forgive me, Paul tells the Corinthian church heresies must come. And you know, if you've had Corinthians, you know what the apostle Paul is saying, that in that moment there's going, you're ready, there's going to be difficulties. And, and, and listen to me. If you have a false expectation of what ministry is and your road to being shaped to what God wants you to be, you're going to be constantly frustrated. Brother Hundley, heresies must come. It's the will of God for abrasions. It's the will of God for pressure. It's the will of God for things to come into your life. Why? Because inside the new challenge of today is the strength of your tomorrow. Are you here this preacher today? Your situation now holds the strength for your future. And you better not be frustrated and try to shortcut, Brother Freymeyer, what the Lord is doing in your life because the pressures and the sacrifices of the day holds your destiny. I know that's easy to say. But let's look at what the Lord does with the children of Israel. He's saying something like this. Your situations have made you. The battles that you've already fought have led you to this moment, and they're not incidental and accidental, but they're pivotal and they're powerful because they're the very means that God uses to build you and to who you must be. I know we went from shouting to kind of room because see, I understand what it's like to shout, Brother Manning, but sometimes you just have to walk the road of pain. See, look at what the Lord says that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that way was near. Now, what does that mean? It means He shows you the destination sometimes in a vision, sometimes in a prayer meeting somewhere. Sometimes it's just an impression, Brother Isaac in your spirit that you got a something from God in you. He shows you the destination and He gives you the dream, Joseph, but He doesn't always tell you the road because you ready, you can see the sun and the moon bowing down and the stars and you know that your family is going to look up to you somehow, but He doesn't show you the road that's going to shape you into that. Why? Because only He knows the way. Let me see if I can help you today. Instead of heading north, Brother Galion, they turn south into the wilderness, not because they didn't know the will of God and follow the direction of God, but because they didn't know the direction of God and follow the direction of God a long way, a long way. Why? Because He knows where you need to be. Let me see if I can help you today. He called you to His work. You didn't ask Him to come and help you with your ministry. It's like the Prophet Jeremiah says, Jeremiah chapter 10 verse 23. Oh Lord, I know that the way of a man is not in himself. It is not in a man that walketh to direct his steps. You got the vision, but you listen to me. You don't know everything God has in store, but let me help you today, Brother Nate. The problem is not that God is not in control somehow. He knows the circumstances that are going to come and He's not subject to your poor pitiful prayers today for comfort. He knows how to get you where He needs to get you. Let me see if I can help a little bit. I'm going to try. It's like He's going to, instead, He's going to, before He takes you up to Polystia to deal with all of those armed garrisons and those coalition of princes, He's going to take you to the Amlicites. Why? Because you got to kill the lion and the bear first, Brother God. You got to learn some things from the Lord. He's going to teach you how to walk through some adversity. You ready? I'll go one further. He's going to drown some things along the way. He's going to take you like the children of Israel. I could have took you right up, Brother Benson, but you ready? I'm going to destroy 600 chariots, and you ready? The Egyptian army and those enemies you will never see again. But if you don't go the way that the Lord wants you to walk, you ready? He's just trying to convince you, I'm going to drown some things. If you'll just keep walking with me, you ready? Don't go the shortcut. Go the long way. He's going to teach you about some doubts and some fears and some anguishes and some things that you're wrestling with. You ready? And if you'll just stay, Brother Perry, on the path that he's got you, he's going to say, I'm going to destroy some doubts and fears. You ready? And because of the way that you walked, you'll never wrestle with those things again. God knows how to build strength into you. He knows how to build faith into you. And the sooner that you get your hands off the steering wheel, the more peace and contentment that you're going to have in the journey. Now you all have heard me say this. It's like I told Brother Mooney, Pastor, I said, Pastor, I'm going to be an evangelist. The Lord's called me to evangelize. He said, good, Brother Kilmer, go to IBC, graduate, and then I'll push the door. Second year I went to him, Brother God, and I'm going to be a youth pastor for sure. Third year, Brother Charles, I don't know what I was thinking. I'm an old pastor. You know what I did? I finally learned. It took me four years. Let me help you, freshmen. Let me help you in year number one. Forget trying to guide your life. I graduated saying, I love Jesus. I mean, I got a call to preach. I know that much. I don't know, Brother Mooney. I'm, I'm, you ready? And God is saying, thank you, son, for finally getting your hands off the wheel and letting me direct your life because you may have a calling, but you don't know how to execute the long-term vision. Brother, oh, come on, Brother White, I can get you where you need to go, but you ready? You got to go along for the ride. I love the old situation. I wish I could give credit to the preacher I heard first say. It's like going to school day one. Mama was nice. She always sent me with that box of new pencil. No, it's shiny number two. The terrible thing is, is that I play pencil break with a lot of them. You don't know what pencil break is. Don't y'all have been cheated in your childhood? I got that shiny number two. It's just a Morgan that looks good. You ready? Looks pristine and new. You know what the problem is? It's not usable. So if I'm going to use it, I got to take it over to the pencil sharpener. You know the old fashionable, not those little electric ones. I'm talking about the real ones. You take it out? See, that's kind of how you are. You want to be new and shiny and called. You ready? But God's going to put you in some situations that grind on you. You ready? That make you usable. And I get it. We talk about it all the time, singing kumbaya and playing bongo, saying iron sharpens iron. Let's just be nice. No, no, no. God's going to put you with roommates. Why? Because that's who you're going to work with in ministry. He's going to teach you how to deal with problems with people. There are going to be problems with people, misunderstandings, conflicts. It's going to be a part of life. So God's got to grow you now so that you can get to there. You ready? So don't frustrate the grace of God now. Learn. Grow. Learn to love people. Work with people. Why? Because if the pencil doesn't get the point, what do you do? You put it right back in and grind on it again until it gets the point. And the sooner you learn the lesson, sometimes the Lord can let up some of the pressure. But if you want to be used of God, you're going to have to go through the process to become usable. I know, brother Kilman, you're supposed to preach and make us happy today. That live recording coming out. I want you to be useful. See, here's what happens. You want the shortcut, but it won't equip you. I'm going to say it another way. You'll end up with ministry without death. Testimony without test. Crowns without crosses. Greatness and growth is what we want without Gethsemane and Galgotha. But you're going to have to walk the way of our Lord. Now, I know I'm not going to, you ready? Sister Haney probably said it best. The anvil of adversity shapes as it smites. And what you're asking for is God stop shaping me. Instead, you should be saying, Lord, help me try to understand what you're doing in this trial, in this circumstance. What are you trying to speak to me? Help me to stay plugged in. The scripture says, and I'm working towards the close. I know some of you are shocked. You're praying like, hopefully, but you're praying me and we can skip to the end. The Bible says, Brother Galion, for God said, let's pre-adventure the people repent when they see war and return to Egypt. Now I'm going to say it like Bobby Kilman. God saved me from me. Saved me from me. What does that mean? Again, God cares more about my salvation than my acclimatization. He's more worried about my character than my company. See Paul said, Lord, I got this thorn in the flesh that God, you ready? Paul's comfort was not God's first priority. Why? Because he needs an apostle. He needs somebody that won't be lifted up and magnified in himself. You ready? So sometimes we have to walk the road of adversity. Why? So that we can learn a way of a man is not in himself. I can't lift myself up. I have to let the Lord shape me. Why? Because character is forged in moments of pressure, where you have to make the decision to cut and run or stay. You hear me today. I know, forgive me. I don't mean to be mean-spirited. I'm not saying that they can't be used of God, Sister Galion. But when the Lord calls some people, now there's different roads for different people. I don't want you to misread me. But when some people cut and run, when the pressure gets too much, you ready? In that moment, they're choosing a destiny. But when you choose to stay and operate in faith, when money's tight, and you have to learn to sacrifice, because your sacrifice now, Brother Shea, is going to see whether or not you can sacrifice in ministry. And see, they don't even know, Brother Galion, that the decisions that they're making today are in fact shaping character and making decisions that determine destiny. Because you become what you do, not just what you say. What do you mean, Brother Kilman? So this is what God had to do. It's about preparation, not popularity. He says, I got you out of Egypt. Now I got to get Egypt out of you. And look, we're not just talking about sin. Of course, sin. Don't be pagan. Don't be pagan. That's free, Brother Galion. But you're ready? That's just what God was interested in. See, what God had to shape into the children of Israel was this. You've been slaves so long that you're still dealing with a slave mentality. You've been under that pressure and under that domination so long that you don't know how to think another way. You ready? So I'm going to teach you and guide you and lead you to operate your life in a new way. It's like a Jordan Peterson said. So we all know who he is. Crazy liberal guy. But truth is, God's wherever you go. He said this about a young, some guys he went to college with, Brother Galion. He said, I thought everyone was going to reinvent themselves that they were going to do good. He said, but when we pulled up at the college, the first thing they did is they got out of the car and they went and looked for the drug dealer. He was a 60. And he says his powerful little statement. He says some people travel a long way, but they don't go that far. You ready? And I'm not saying you're going to go look for the drug dealer today. I'm just going to say some of you have to be talked out of the mentality of the same thing that you did when you were in the youth group. You're going to have to grow up and mature. And so God's going to put you in the crisis of faith where you ready? Your maturity will come and you'll have the opportunity to shine and step forward and grow. But if you don't ever grow, you're never going to go. You're always going to be stuck. It's like those poor, pitiful, high school jocks. Forgive me for that term. They play football and that's the highlight Brother Sheldon of their career. They were high school quarterbacks. And you ready? That's the only thing we have in life is they can go back to that memory. Here's what I want to say to you. I don't want your only memory to be you being here and preaching chapel once or singing on a platform. God says, you ready? I not only have today interview. I have tomorrow and all of your tomorrow's in view. Please be seated. One man said it this way. Escapology is our theology. We went out of the pressure. But see if you don't allow God to put you in circumstances where you're going to have to walk down and become entangled in the land is what God says. And I'm going to lead you right between a rock and a hard place and Pharaoh is going to chase you down. See why? Because I got to teach you that you're not just a slave anymore. And what Egypt has suggested, what it said, and what it screamed at you. You ready? I defy you as worthless. You're never going to do great things for God. God is going to say, I understand that you believe that now and you're carrying that weight around with you. But I'm going to give you some circumstances in which you'll have to trust me and I'm going to peel every lie of the world off of you bit by bit. Why? Because I see your destiny and I know the plans that I have for you. I'm going to try to wrap up to it. What are you saying, Brother Kilmer? Life is going to be full of issues. I know, Lord, we talked about it today. Thank you, sister. Lord, here for you. Yes, the Lord here. I wish I could tell about the, you know, my dad was healed of cancer. That's how we, our family was introduced to God, the truth. I wish I could talk about my mom being in a prayer line and no one even knows Lord Hilder, those tangled blood vessels that could have caused the brain injuries and how we know the Lord. Let's see. There are going to be times where the Lord lets you walk with him where he gives you problems, sickness, offenses, attacks, the temptation of jealousy, conflict, strife, bitterness. All of these things are operative tests to shape you into who, you ready? The trial is not to break you and the trust test is not to crush you. The situations are there to shape the life of Christ in you. It's like Jesus says he must need to go through Jerusalem by the Galilee. The Bible says being weary with his journey. He sits on the well. I promise you, you're going to get there. And if our Lord went that way, you're going to have to go that way. You're going to find places and times when you're at the end of yourself, because the Lord wants you to teach you, he is more than what you can do. But you ready? You cannot understand that, Brother Perry, until you get, because tribulation works as a patient. And you just have to wait. You don't see a way out, Bishop, but you know the Lord is good. And you just have to wait for the answer, because tribulation, the problem is not there from God to crush you, but to shape something. You see that God comes through. You ready? And you change into something that you was not before. Let me say it this way. The Bible says that God led the people about through the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. Say it another way. The long way is the only way. He doesn't just know your need. He knows what you need. I'm going to say it again. He's not trapped by your prayer request today because he sees all of you. Hebrews chapter five says it this way, who in the days of his flesh, when he offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears, unto him, now all you oneness people understand that Jesus was a man. He was God, the one God manifest in place by the show, show heart, but he was also a man. You ready? And the Bible says he cried unto him that was able to save him from death. He was heard and that he feared. I trust that you fear the Lord. I trust that you're doing the will of God, but sometimes he's not going to answer. The Bible says though he were a son, yet learned he obey obedience out by the things which he saw. Why would God do that? For the rich, the Bible says, and being made for him, he became the author of eternal salvation. You see, what was purpose from eternity past for the Matthew had to be lived out in every day life and existence. And I know you want the glory of God, but it comes with a road. Trust them today. If they'll come to the music, I promise I'm wrapping up. Judges chapter 11. Gilead has a son, one of the judges of Israel. He has a son by a harlot and he's got baggage for the galleon. That's tough. Son of a harlot. What a reputation. And not only does that happen, Gilead marries finally, gets his act together, and he has other sons, but those other sons, trust them out. You're just an illegitimate son. You're not even really our brother. We want nothing to do with you. You have a question for you. Why would God allow that to happen? Because God's going to develop the character in Jeppe that can only come through the rejection of His grace. And the killmen house at the will of God. See, here's what happens. He doesn't get opportunity. He's pushed out of the limelight and he goes into the land of Tab. And Tab was what's now modern day Syria. It was wrecked with lawlessness. And it's there that he begins to attract some men like himself that are rejected by other people made. And he begins to help people that are in trouble and he becomes a mighty man of war because he has to fight for the galleon all the time just to exist. And what Jeppe doesn't know is the Lord is preparing him to save Israel who has rejected and I know probably in this room, there have been people that you love and that you respect that maybe a harsh things about whether or not you ready, but the preparing you and it could be that he's going to bring you back into people's lives. And like we've seen countless times for the galleon, your dad said something powerful that this was the greatest decision you ever made because they may not always see it at the beginning, but the Lord knows how to equip you for a moment and bring you back in. How many of you want to be profitable? See, your life could be easier if you just keep your hand. But who wants the sister Morgan live a life that's not profitable? I want to be used by God and that means I have to walk a road today and catch this, not get in the process. Psalm 75 verse 6 and 7, the motion coming neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. Where does it come from? It comes from the Lord. And Sister Mason, if it comes from the Lord, it comes from the Lord's process. You're going to walk with me. That's my call today to encourage you to say, I'm going to walk with you, Lord. And the Bible says in the children of Israel went up hernest out of the land of Egypt. Why walk this road? Because there's more to learn Israel from the longer journey. You may have a plan today for your life, but I come to tell you there's good news. God's going to leave you. He's going to laugh at your day planner. He's going to laugh at your goals and take you away instead that will develop you into who you need to become. See, I'm not just speaking to potential today. I'm speaking to destiny because he knows the plans he has for you. You look at the context of that passage. He knows how to shape you even in adversity. I'm going to try to quit. I'm going to read a few verses of scripture. Psalm 107 verse 7. The psalmist says it right. God protected them from their own gradual self because he knows what you can handle today. And he knows where and how to get you tomorrow. The psalmist says he led them forth by the right way. See the law. What does he mean the right way? That they might go to a city of habitation. A life of no faith needed means a life of no growth given. The psalm says 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 8 and 10 where we would not brethren have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia. See, this is what I feel today. See, pastor Mooney is incredible. What I'm looking for is the next Paul and Mickey Mooney. What I'm looking for is the next Stephanie and Jason gallery. What I'm looking for is the next evangelist and Robert K. Rodenbosch. See, I'm calling you to that and I know some of you see these incredible examples and you say, Lord, I want to have an impact. See, if you're going to do that, listen what the apostle Paul says and you have to understand this comes with it. But he will give you grace to walk the road. I said, I don't want you to be ignorant of our trouble that we were pressed out of measure above strength in as much that we despair even of life. But again, that's the apostle Paul. How many of you think you're more spiritual than Paul? Then you ready? You're going to face the same type of adversities and the only thing that will carry you through moments like that is where you say, Lord, I trust in what you are making me and what I'm becoming. I trust what you're doing. It goes on to say in second Corinthians four, we don't have time to read all these today. We have this treasure and earth and vessel why that the excellency of power may be of God, not of us. Troubled on every side, yet not in distress. We're perplexed, not in despair, persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed. And we preach those and rejoice in the triumph. I just want to know if you can live in the moment. Paul says always bearing about the body of the dying of the Lord Jesus. Why? That the life also of Jesus might be manifest in our body for we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake. Why? Because you're going to be shaped that the life also of Jesus might be manifest in our mortal flesh. You guys okay with a couple more? Plus I should be exalted above measure with the abundance of revelation. Paul says it was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan's above at me, lest I should be exalted above measure. I besought the Lord thrice. He says, Lord, take it away. And God says my grace, Paul, my grace, my grace, don't frustrate the grace of God. See, you're wanting to escape some things. And God saying, I know how to make you proper. Therefore, Paul says, most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory my Lord. If this is the road that you're asking me to walk, then just give me the grace. I'm going to quit then. I wish we had time. So here, you ready? If the Lord is speaking to you, this is what I think. Don't frustrate yourself in the process that the Lord is with you and that has you. You ready? Because again, if you mistake, Paul says to Timothy, Demis is forsaken. People are going to leave you. Don't be frustrated. He says, only Luke is with you. He goes on to say, he says, there are people that have greatly withstood our words. And you ready? At my first answer, Bishop, no man stood with me. I looked around for some kind of, you're going to have to stand alone. But you ready? By the time you hit that moment, God is going to make you strong enough, Paul, to where you can stand and be the witness he needs. So here's what I'm asking you all over this building in your own way. Not talking about complacency. I know sometimes we have not because we ask them. But you ready? When the Lord says no, this is what I want you in your own way to say, Lord, help me to help me not to become frustrated in the process and shortcut. What you're trying to build me into. Well, that's it in your own way to the Lord. You need to surrender the steering wheel to him. When I've watched, I've talked with many of you, as you said, the Lord has directed you. And I know some of you have said to me, things like this, many of you, I only intended to come one year. And the Lord just had different plans for me. You ready? He knows the way. Follow him, follow him, follow him. So you ready? I want you to come down today. This is what I want you to do. I want you to lay down every expectation and say, Lord, help me to be okay with what you're gifting me right now. Help me to get over my petty desire for comfort. Help me to take your shaping. You want to be willing? Help me to be moldable.
