praise the Lord everybody amen let's give that hand clap to the Lord right now can we do that while we're standing tonight amen thank you Jesus thank you Jesus amen Happy Father's Day one more time to all of our dads that are in the house amen anybody thankful for a good good father amen I know that I'm thankful for my dad and uh so thankful to Pastor mul for such a phenomenal Father's Day message today amen I really needed that and uh who's your daddy amen I almost said who's your so fast that I almost said who's your again amen it is so good to see The Adams Family I had the great privilege of uh them being with me in Oklahoma for several days and man we had a great great great time everybody shout Poland Poland 2025 should everybody behave long enough in the world we are taking an ayc trip to Poland in 2025 and we are excited about it amen we are excited about it going to be a good time expecting God to do great things how many believe that God wants to bring great Revival and harvest in Poland amen amen we're going to take a stop over and Paris and uh if you've ever been or want to go it's a wonderful treat but we're not just going to go look at beautiful sites but we're going to get together we're going to pray while we're there that God would send laborers to France how many know that God wants to save the nation of France amen and fill them with the baptism of the Holy Ghost absolutely amen I just want to give a couple of quick thank yous if that would be all right I want to say give honor to pastor and sister mul so very thankful for their Hospitality what a great room and a great reception that we have had Bishop sister mccole happy anniversary I had no idea that that I get to be the anniversary speaker so uh I don't know what kind of a gift that I am uh brother and sister mcool but I sure enjoyed lunch today and all of our great conversation and thankful for you so thankful for my friend Pastor Nate EXC excuse me NS Whitley it's when you know you're getting official when you start going by initials amen I'm so thankful for him and his friendship sister Ashley have we've had many wonderful times together and I've enjoyed our world travels and looking forward to even more World travels and not just because we're going to find good places to eat my brother-in-law told me he wants to go on a missions trip with me but he only wants to go where the food is good so he's already exed out a few places I give honor to Pastor Anthony and sister Kelly mcol our general youth secretary but also my friends and we had a great time in Rome and he preached the house down you guys already know all this stuff about your leadership I'm so thankful for them and their friendship and their kindness toward me and I just want to give honor to all of our present Ministry if you're a minister in the house I give you honor tonight amen I realize that you could absolutely be standing in this place I don't take it lightly and I'm so so very thankful for you and uh they're not on my list but I didn't forget about them I'm so thankful amen for brother Alex and Emanuel across who also was with us in Europe and just got back from Europe again excited about what the Lord is going to do with them and lastly but not least as you turn with me to the Book of Joshua chapter 3 in verse one I'm so thankful that my oldest boy got to come with me am man Lincoln is 15 turned 15 this year working on 15 and a half as I was driving this way I got to thinking you know there's going to come a time that he's going to be able to help me uh drive this trip and then I could take a nap amen I don't know I might wake up in heaven either way we're going to wake up some glad morning amen I'm so thankful for you tonight I love you son I wish that my family the rest of my family could be here with me and they're missing it very very badly and I just want to say one last thing I've been to fac Knoxville one other time and most of you probably wouldn't know it it was many many years ago and you were over in the old building and my wife and I we were taking a student we had a student who had uh been selected for a national young leaders conference and and uh we were youth pastors at the time and her family told her they said that's awesome if somebody else takes you and somebody else pays for it you can go so we loaded her up we drove her all this way and on the way I believe it was on the way it could have been on the way home uh we had a a stop over in Knoxville and it just so happened to be on a church night and uh we said you know what we're going to sneak in there and we're going to experience fac Knoxville you probably didn't even know that we were here but I just want to tell you that you were a wonderfully friendly and attentive church then just like you were a wonderfully friendly and attentive church now amen and I'm excited about what the Lord is going to do in this place never did I imagine in a million years that I would be standing here but I know that the Lord has a word for us tonight so if you're with me at Joshua chapter 3 and verse one everybody shout amen amen if you're following on the screen everybody shout oh me okay well we're all in the same boat anyway and Joshua Rose early in the morning and they removed from shadam and came to Jordan and all the children of isra Israel and lodged there before they passed over and it came to pass after 3 days that the officers went through the host and they commanded the people saying when you see the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord your God and the priests the Levites bearing it then you shall remove from your place and go after it yet there shall be a space between you and it about 2,000 cu by measure come not near unto it that you may know the way which you must go listen to what he says here for you have not passed this way here to for and Joshua said unto the people sanctify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you and Joshua spake unto the priest saying take up the Ark of the Covenant and passed over before the people and they took up the Ark of the Covenant and went before the people I want to preach to for a few moments tonight if you would allow me this evening just this simple thought you have not passed this way before you have not passed this way before can you just set your Bibles down and lift your hands up to heaven with me right now let's ask God just one more time Jesus we love you God we're so thankful we're so thankful for your presence that's already in this place God I know through much confirmation tonight that you've given me a word for this people God I'm asking you right now that you would touch our hearts and our minds God anoint these lips of clay to deliver your word anoint our hearts to receive it oh God and we'll receive it with gladness God we thank you so much for this opportunity to stand before you tonight and everybody said in Jesus name amen you can be seated thank you so much for standing for the reading of the word tonight on May the 21st 184 Maryweather Lewis and William Clark left St Louis Missour Missi with the core of Discovery and headed west in an effort to explore and document the new lands bought by the Louisiana Purchase with only one death everybody say praise the Lord the group reached the Pacific Ocean at Portland and then returned back to St Louis on September the 23rd 186 it was the age of Westward Expansion President Jefferson told him in in uh in no uncertain terms he said you need to go and map out our land we're thankful that we have acquired the space to grow we're thankful that we have acquired places to go but we don't know where we're going and we don't know what is out there so we need for you to go and for you to put in the work and for you to map that out amen for example the Expedition provided extensive facts on the Northwest Natural Resources Lewis and Clark were able to document over 100 animal species and over 170 plant plants they brought back information on the size and the minerals and the geology of the area in addition the Expedition uh established relations with the Native Americans in the region and one of Jefferson's main goals was to have good relations at that time with the Native Americans aside from a confrontation with the Teton Sue these relations were largely peaceful and the core received extensive help from the various tribes that they met regarding things like food food and navigation for geographical knowledge for the maps the Lewis and Clark expedition provided widespread knowledge about the Topography of the Pacific Northwest and produced more than 140 maps of the region even with the work of Lewis and Clark newer more precise Maps were required as expansion was underway amen because someone was always walking A New Path and somebody was always going somewhere that no one else had gone before people would continue to expand and they would continue to go out and they would uh establish a new community and there would be a new road or there would be a some other Bend in the river can I tell you right now amen that I'm thankful I'm thankful that uh that I didn't have to get off a whole lot of turns I could get on I40 and come all the way here Amen to Knoxville but there have been other times that I have been in in dire trouble when the map wouldn't bring up where I needed to go I've always been afraid that I would be like uh that one guy that was driving along in his car and uh and Siri told him to turn right and he turned right and ran off of a bridge I think that was in the daytime which makes that double jeopardy I'm thankful that we have the knowledge of where we've been and that we have the knowledge of where we are going however can I tell you before I get too far ahead of myself that even in the church amen I'm thankful for everywhere that we have been and I'm thankful for where we're going but I'm even more thankful and excited about all the places that we have yet to go and all the things that we have yet to do and all of the all of the regions that we have yet to preach the gospel and and all of the cities that we have yet to plant a church and all of the evangelists who have yet to set out on the trail I'm so thankful to today amen that we serve a God who doesn't just cause us to be in a stalemate but says I'm going to do a new thing with you if you will allow me to do so right following the death of the patriarch Moses god through the leadership of Joshua had brought the children of Israel to the banks of the Jordan River it wasn't the first time that they had been there however it was all that now stood between them and the promised land real estate but it was a swollen River the Bible says that it had swollen outside of its banks amen God speaks to them and he says to them listen you need to pay attention because you have not passed this way before you have been by the Jordan River you have skirted the Jordan River but you have not been past this place before amen can I tell you tonight that uh that's quite a statement for a group of people who had been wandering the same Wilderness for 40 years years I want you to think about it for just a quick moment the Wilderness denotes something that is wild and unexplored and has Adventure waiting so I ask you this question tonight at what point does the Wilderness cease to be a mystery though once the Wilderness was a great mystery they now knew every Rock and every Watering Hole In Every Mountain in every clump of trees and after 40 years they had been through the the same valleys and they had climbed the same mountains and they had dealt with the same people because what was once the Wilderness had now become familiar amen but now Joshua has brought them to the only geographical obstacle left and aside from it being flood season and the water well outside of its banks they estimate it was moving 300 billion cubic feet approximately amen they were standing on the threshold of a brand new unknown they know that the land of promise is right across the river they know that it is still a land that flows with milk and honey amen come on can I tell you right now that we've been to the Jordan River amen I think more than anything my part of the world it would be called the Jordan Creek I'm not the world's greatest swimmer but I think I could have swam across it if I would have tried a little bit I also think I probably would have been shot but that's a different story for a different day I thought to myself man this is not a very impressive River I did step into the river amen and I and I got the understanding of what Chile Jordan really means but this is the time where it's not just the the Jordan Creek or the Jordan Creek or the Jordan offshoot but this thing is well outside of its banks H can I tell you uh tonight that God is not above taking you amen into your promise uh even in the middle of the Great obstacle that you think it could be there they didn't have a bridge no doubt they're thinking to themselves God you could have chose better day than this day you could have chose a better season than this season but the Lord says you have not passed this way before he said listen I'm going to give you some instructions uh going back to Joshua 3 and chapter 1 I'll just paraphrase it for you now but he said listen you send the officers through the host you give them some instructions I'm going to send the presence of God I'm going to send the representation of my presence the Ark of the Covenant we're going to put it on the shoulders of the priest and they're going to step down into the river amen and as they step down into the river I'm going to do something wonderful I'm going to do something powerful but here's the catch you've got to follow but you can't follow so close that you miss where we're going he said you got to stay back about 2,000 cubits just so you can be sure that you can see where I'm going and what I'm doing how I'm doing it and where you're supposed to be amen this not in my notes so this is this is for free tonight this is an anniversary word right here amen sometimes God doesn't give you everything uh all at one time he doesn't give you all the digits I I tell the Lord all the time I wish you'd send me a text message because I'd really like to know what's about to happen next the Lord says no no no no no just don't crowd me just be where you're supposed to be I think sometimes we miss out on what God wants to do with us because we're not in the right place at the right time some of us are in the right place at the wrong time and some of us are in the wrong place at the right time but if you would be where God said to be and you would do what God Said to do if you would stand still when God said to stand still and if you'll move When God says to move H and you'll keep the appropriate distance When God says the appropriate distance H I've come to tell somebody right now you're going to watch Jordan roll back and you're going to walk across on dry ground into your promise somebody clap your hands to the Lord if you believe that right now he told him he said when you see the ark follow it but don't crowd it in other words don't outrun your ability to be led by the spirit because you haven't passed this way before this is this is a blank this is a blank page on a map the last time that we were at this point anybody remember that they sent in 12 Spies 10 came back with an evil report two came back with a good report even carrying clusters of grapes they said man this place is great but I just don't think we can do it Pastor I know what God Said but I know I know that you've got Vision flowing but man are you sure are you sure that that's a good idea amen Bishop are you sure that you're going to have a Tent Revival and and plant a church in a place like Knoxville amen I I don't know about you but I I think this leadership is proven that they that they they're hearing from the Lord around this place amen come on and not not only this place but all the other many places that have come out of it amen Pastor I I know that this is what you think we need to do but are you absolutely sure amen I'm thankful for the two that come back with a good report but it really would have been best if everybody could to come back on the same page and said you know what we know that God has promised us this uh we know that it's taken us a little while to get here a little longer than what it was expected and we know that in that time some other people have set up shop and that's our fault because we were disobedient in the first place but I tell you what with God on our side I think we can whip [Music] [Applause] him but instead they say you know what we're grasshoppers in their sight and grasshoppers in our own sight by the time that Joshua is getting back to the Jordan River and it's over swelled its banks that brings me to another thought uh I'm I'm led to believe scripture does not necessarily explicitly say it I don't think but uh whenever they crossed over to spy out the land it was not during flood season would have been an easier trip but when God brought him back the second time and said I'm about to take you in God purpos did it at a time that it just doesn't make sense to go because God doesn't work on my time frame that's right God God doesn't God doesn't perform his Will based on what I think he's able to do and what I think is a good idea or even what I think that his appropriate timing is matter of fact I can't ever think of a time that the Lord has ever even asked my opinion on that he said get up get outside of your tent and get ready because we're about to go over into the promised land but you can't crowd what I'm about to do because I'm getting ready to blow your mind and I'm getting ready to work miracles before your eyes amen they looked at each other probably and they thought to themselves we're moving from the known into the unknown amen the Bible talks about making highways in the desert amen they literally made highways in the desert there you can go archaeologically right now and you can find all sorts of signs amen of God's people moving through the Sinai Peninsula can I tell you that there are times in our walk with God that we simply move away from what is comfortable into what is uncertain I think that there's two times to go I think that there's a time to mount up and say all right God I'm ready Lead Me lead me and I'll follow I'll do whatever you say to do and then there's other times that God gets a hold of us and dislodges us oh but God the water is swollen amen it's cliche but if God will lead me to it he could take me through it if God will lead me to it he could take me over it amen I realized that God could have given them the skills to build a great bridge and they could have built a suspension bridge you know that he he downloaded the ideas for the temple and the temple Furnishings into the into the man and he built it and did everything like it was supposed to be God could have done anything but that wasn't God's plan God could have allowed them to Tunnel through and find another way over it that's not God's plan it was God's plan that they would walk right through the middle of it the Lord knows tonight that there are folks in this room that are at a point this evening in your lives that you've never been before you might not have even imagined that you would be in this place before come on I want you to stick with me for a few more moments right now there are folks in this room that you never thought that you would hear the doctor say what the doctor said to you amen there are folks in this room my heart goes out to the hares tonight and uh thank you for sharing your testimony it gave me confirmation but uh you know you've never been here before nobody could have woke up one day and said man I I'm I'm going to bury my 19-year-old granddaughter today and and you know what let's just go ahead and get on to the house of the Lord and let's get back to where the presence of God is so that God can can pour oil in our wounds and that God can hold us tight like he likes to do amen can I tell you that's what people of Faith look like that says this is not what I expected this is not what I was hoping for this is not what I ever had in mind this is not what I dreamed H this is not what I thought that I would be walking through right now I never thought that I'd be walking through the valley of the shadow of death H but I could still Proclaim H that thou art with me amen I didn't expect to be here I didn't expect to walk through this moment H I didn't expect to have these conversations uh but God said you're going to walk through it at this time because I have designed this path for you there may be someone in this house that you feel like you've wandered through the Wilderness so long that it no longer feels even like a strange country anymore and now here you stand filled with fear and uncertainty as you look at the impassible problem in front of you can I tell you tonight that God never intended for his people to cross over that River in their own own power I think we forget sometime man maybe maybe I'm just I'm just talking to me you guys I'm preaching in the choir am man you guys are never even thought this you never even had to worry about it never even had to think twice about it but if if you can do it on your own there's no need for God to step in and help you out we're always looking for miracles and things that we can deal with oursel when God really starts walking in our life and Miracle working power is when there is no other option it's when the doctor says I'm sorry we've done all that we can do amen it's not time to go home and get into a shell and get under a rock uh it's time to get back to the Altar and say all right God H we've done everything we know how to do uh now it's time for you to work uh amen whenever you've done everything you can to get your family put back together amen there comes a time where you got to stop and say all right God we've done all that we can do I said I'm sorry I did this I did that now it's time to just put it on the Altar and let you work and I think that the Lord looks at moments like that and he says all right thank you I'll take that we're always looking for God to do something great amen but we're living in moments that God he's not able to because we won't take our hands off of it he told him before I'll take you in you guys ready to go you ready I'll take you in oh no God there's no way that we can defeat them there's no way that we can walk into that amen how many times uh in in the apostolic movement have we delayed what God has really designed for us to be walking in because we look at the obstacle and we look at the circumstance and we say you know what God uh we're too busy right now focusing on this sickness uh we're too busy right now focusing on this uh uh dichotomy we're too busy focusing on the economy we're too busy focused on what politics are going to be or what this is going to be or whether we can buy milk or gas this week when God is looking at us and saying I don't work on that economy and I don't work on that timeline he said i' set up Kings H and I take down Kings uh he said I'm looking for a church uh who's ready to have power come on I'm looking for a church uh who's ready to walk in power he said I'm looking for somebody that got a bad diagnosis H but still got two hands that they could raise H who still got a mouth that could praise me he said I'm looking for somebody you might not be sitting in sackcloth and Ashes like job he said but I'm looking for somebody that can say Lord Lord though you slay me yet will I trust you I'm moving quickly tonight I want to tell you that God is not limited amen he will do a new thing with an old promise he will do a new thing I hear people say oh God's not doing anything new God's doing all sorts of new things amen what we need to be worried about is when people say that God's doing new things by some new revelation he does new things but they're old promises God told him he said I have given you a land he told Abraham he said get up and go to a land that I will show thee amen we find out that Abraham walked over every Hill and every Valley looking for a city whose Builder and maker is God Amen that same covenant passed down to the generations to the generations to the generations to where God said all right boys I tell you what we're going to do he said now you're going to start living in the promise that I have given to you it has always been the plan it has always been God's plan for his church and his people to have Victory amen and live in power and walk in Apostolic dominion and Authority he is not limited he's not limited to the time and he's not limited to the season he's not limited to the man or to the woman H God will find somebody who's ready to walk into the promise uh amen who's ready to walk through swollen Rivers uh come on he's ready to climb mountain tops and walk through valleys and walk through whatever that it may be God is looking for that [Applause] individual James chapter 2 and verse 18 He says yay a man may say thou Hast faith and I have Works come on we've heard this type of arguments amongst Christians for a long time he said show me thy faith without thy works and I will show thee my faith by my Works come on there's some people who just say it and there's other people who do it amen don't don't don't let anybody get get it twisted and get sideways with you and say oh well you guys are just talking about works let me tell you he said I'll show you my faith I'll show you my faith by my Works H amen it's not enough to say that we want to see God do something in Poland uh amen but somebody's been willing to go it's not enough to say that we want to see God do something in the European region amen but somebody's got to be willing to go it's not enough to say that we want to see God put people in the baptistry and see them baptized in his name and not go out and teach a Bible study or have a conversation amen or start or strike up some type of a first meeting with somebody down at Starbucks or wherever that you take your coffee or five bucks whatever that it is 10 bucks now it's 2024 he said I'll show you my faith but I'll do it by my Works he said I will show you my faith he said thou believest that there is one God you do well the Devils also believe and tremble he said but wilt thou know oh vain man that faith without works is dead I'm telling you I've come to tell somebody tonight that I believe that God is setting somebody up in this room for a miracle amen the river might be swollen the obstacle might be there but God has given us a Commandment that you my presence is going to go before you but it's your responsibility to walk behind and follow my plan man H Joshua chapter 3 and 14 the story continues that it came to pass that when the people removed from their tents to Passover Jordan and the priests bearing the Ark of the Covenant before the people that as they bear the ark were come into Jordan and the feet of the priests that bear the ark were dipped in the brim of the water for Jordan overfloweth all his bank at the time of harvest my goodness we could preach on that for a minute you can't have Harvest without trouble it's not going to happen amen that the waters which came down from above stood and Rose up on a heap very far from the city Adam that is beside zaratan and those that came down toward the Sea of the plain even the salt sea failed and were cut off and the people passed over right against Jericho and the priest that be the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground until all the people were passed clean over Jordan amen I heard Bishop Wilson say one time that God was working Upstream can I tell you that it would have been the hardest for the people who took the first step everybody talks about I got to have faith for this I got to have faith for that I'm almost done stick with me for a couple more moments it would have been the hardest to be the guy in the front line says oh man I don't know about this because I I I know that we know in this part of the country a little bit about rivers and if you're if you if you're down in Texas especially in East Texas man they've been flooding all over the place a swollen river is a swift River so whenever you see the priest go and they're standing in the river amen and it comes time for you to step your foot let me tell you something there's something else that happened right there is that in that moment an entire generation of people who might not have even been alive whenever the Red Sea parted and they walked cross on dry ground witnessed exactly what their ancestors had gone through and walked through can I tell you it's not enough to talk about Revival that we used to have it's not enough to talk about a move of God that we used to have we got to have one right now come on we've got to have if we want these generations to hang on we've got to take it can't just be a legend it can't just be a story but it's got to be a right now type of move we got to say hey just watch just follow the priest just follow the presence that when they step into the water everything is about about to shift on right the Bible says that as the priest stood there every single person walked across on dry ground they didn't even leave a muddy footprint now in closing tonight as the musicians begin to make their way when Joshua brought them to their last obstacle the people probably weren't really thinking about Jericho that was on the other side of this that's just like the Lord he brings you over one obstacle right next door to your next obstacle amen not only that but it was close enough that Jericho was able to see what was happening if I was Jericho I think I would have just packed up and left but instead they went in and they shut the gates and they set a watch and they said we're just going to let you guys pass by but that's not what God had in store for his people let me tell you something they probably weren't thinking about Jericho being on the other side of this but the walls of Jericho are absolutely nothing for people who walk through flood waters on dry ground amen when we get through the water Joshua and you say to me that we're going to walk around the city of Jericho come on let's think about it chronologically we're going to walk around but Hey listen you're going to walk around uh one time every day for six days and you're not going to say a word if you even talk you're out of here don't even speak you know what I'm doing I'm taking my dry feet and I'm walking around Jericho and I ain't saying nothing and then when it comes time for the seventh day and we're going to rock around six times silent but on the seventh time he said you're going to let up a shout and you're going to blow the trumpets and you're going to yell amen and God is going to give us this city you know what I'm doing I preach this a lot of different ways usually from a a slightly uh you know look at at like I don't know if we can be quiet that long but I want you to hear me when I say this if I'm thinking about what just happened at at at the river I think that I can make the lap and I think that I can get my trumpet ready and I think that I can shout loud enough amen for God to give us the next obstacle because what happens is when they get through Jericho the next obstacle am man every single obstacle that you get into there's a little bit more confidence that you know what God did that the last time I believe he's going to do it again every time that somebody pops up in this room and we have a report that says I was diagnosed with cancer or diagnosed with this or that but God healed my body and I'm a test you know what that means that means that the next person that gets a bad diagnosis they can sit right there in the doctor when the doctor's looking at them Grim in the face uh and said I don't know what we're going to do uh you can rock back and forth and hum a little bit in your spirit and say I know that you don't know uh amen and I don't know what tomorrow holds but I Know Who Holds Tomorrow My God is still faithful he's able to do do it amen why because I've seen him do it because I've witnessed it come on somebody because I've witnessed it because what happens is we get something inside of us that says like Psalms 124 And1 if it had not been for the Lord who was on our side H now Israel may say if it had not been for the Lord who was on our side when men rose up against ush then they had swallowed us up quick when the Wrath was kindled against us then the waters had overwhelmed us the stream had gone over our soul then the proud Waters had gone over our soul but they said blessed be the Lord who hath not given us as prey to their teeth uh our soul is escaped uh as a bird out of the snare of the Fowlers uh the snare is broken H and we are escaped uh in other words uh the devil thought he had me but I got away H amen come on we got to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding and in all of our ways acknowledge Him stand with me this evening if you would all across the house I sought the Lord about what to preach tonight to do my very best I'm not an evangelist I'm just a just a little old Pastor from way over short but not all that little but for way over in Oklahoma and I thought God what can I say to these people who have such great preaching I mean you got the best of the best oh my goodness man you got the best everything you guys know that but I felt the spirit of the Lord nudge me brother Adams he said well I'm not really asking you to say anything but I have something to [Applause] say I don't know what you're going through I don't know what your life story is this is the first time that I've met many of you and this might be the first time that many of you have ever even seen me and it could be the last so if it is I want you to hear me right now amen if you could say that I have faith but you're not willing to take a step into what God has TR you can stay at your tent you can stay back there amen you can get in your easy chair and say you know what I'm just going to live off of what God used to do and I'm just going to live off of what God what people said that God used to do and I'm just going to dress just right and I'm going
