I turn your attention today to a very familiar passage of scripture one of my favorites to preach from John chapter three if you would turn there with me we're going to talk a little bit about the wind here today and I was preaching in South Dakota Friday night yesterday morning and the Lord dropped this into my spirit to preach there Friday night and while I was praying Saturday morning the Lord kind of quickened me and said that it was for here also and so I believe God's going to do something great here today. John chapter three verse number one if you have it say a man it was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him Rabbi we know that thou art a teacher come from God for no man can do

these miracles that thou doest accept God be with him Jesus answered and said unto him verily verily he say and listen up pay attention this is important I say unto thee accept a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God Nicodemus sayeth unto him how can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born Jesus answered verily verily pay attention look closely I say unto thee accept a man be born of water and of spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is spirit marvel not that I say unto thee you must be born again everybody say the wind bloweth where it listeth and now here is the sound thereof but can

us not tell whether it cometh or whether it goeth so is some that are born of the spirit read it with me like you know what it says so is everyone that is born of the spirit I want to preach to you today very simply the revelation of the wind would you set your bibles down and would you lift your hands all over this house and would you pray that God would have his way in your life today come on we don't just want him to have his way in your neighbor's life we want him to have his way in every life that's represented here Lord we love you we thank you for your word it is a sharp powerful two-edged sword able God to divide God able to do what it needs to do God the word is anointed anoints your vessel here today puts your words in my mouth and let me declare your word

without fetter eyes released right now the gifts of the spirit into this atmosphere God take dominion over anything that would be a hindrance against this service and I do it all in the wonderful wonderful name of Jesus somebody shout Jesus name amen high five your neighbor before you seated and say you love him man the bible deals a lot in typology you start in the old testament and there are types that are pointing to christ and the attributes of god found all the way in the old testament one of the most beautiful types of christ would be the rock you find in the old testament that there was a rock that followed them in the wilderness and we learn in the new testament according to the apostle that that rock was christ the reason that moses didn't get to enter into the promised land is simple he broke typology jesus would not

be crucified twice he would only be crucified once and when moses smote the rock twice he broke the fact that christ would not have to die twice but that he would only have to die one time and three days later aren't you thankful that he resurrected and gave us life and that much more abundantly but you see this image of the rock all throughout the old testament it's no coincidence that when gideon got prepared his sacrifice he didn't place it upon anything but a rock and then when the angel of the lord touched that sacrifice a fire came out of the rock that rock was christ i love that we read about how that rock followed them in the wilderness because there were many times that they weren't following god but it didn't stop the rock from following them aren't you glad that jesus never gives up on you aren't you glad that jesus never throws in the

towel aren't you glad that he keeps reaching even when you aren't walking like you're supposed to walk but that rock keeps following you and it keeps seeking after you and it keeps reaching for you you read in the book of daniel that there would be a rock that was cut without hands and peter is preaching one day and he says you know that stone that you builders have rejected that rock that rock is christ and he has become the chief cornerstone aren't you glad that jesus is the cornerstone of everything that we do he is the centrality of everything that we are we hold him right in the center of our life of our moving of our being because it is in christ that we find everything but the rock isn't the only type of christ that you find in the old testament we also read that it was also in the wilderness experience that the children of israel were

hungry and while they were hungry they began to murmur and moses seeks the lord and what happens other than bread comes down from heaven bread was a sustaining factor it's not like it is now where bread is what you get for free on the table before your main course gets here sometimes bread was all you had and if you had bread you were thankful you had bread and so when the bread came down from heaven it was life giving it was sustaining it it brought joy to them it's not something like it is now where we just kind of discard the bread trying to get to the stake no they were thankful when they got bread and we read in john chapter seven after he fed the multitude he told them he said i am the bread that comes down from heaven you have to understand that jesus is that life giving sustainment jesus is that bread that you bite into

and you will never hunger again jesus is something that will sustain you beyond a good meal can cause sustain you come on somebody when elijah took a bite of that cake and it sustained him longer than it 40 days you have to understand that's some kind of sustainment that was showing you that was christ he will sustain you beyond the normal reach of any type of food it will sustain you beyond the normal reach of anything you're used to grabbing a hold of when you need sustainment friend you need to lean on christ the solid rock we talked about the river a few Wednesday nights ago that is another type you understand that there was a river in genesis and there is a river in revelation there is a river in ezekiel and jesus said he said uh that it would be like rivers of living water this spakey of the spirit you see i find it uncoincidental that everything

that jesus said i'm going to be like my spirit is going to be like or things that you could build upon you can't build upon the sand but when you build your life upon the rock that is christ friend you need to build your family upon christ principles you need to build your home upon christ principles you need to build your job upon principles that christ teaches everything that we do is in jesus name i rather it's word rather it's deep i pray for my food in jesus name i pray for my family in jesus name i lay hands on the sick in jesus you know why i can trust it it's that rock that won't move it's that rock that won't waver it's that everything that can be shaken will be shaken but that which is built upon the rock i remember jesus looking at peter

one day he said thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail come on when everything in the world is getting shaky the church is built on a rock when you can't trust government the church is built on a rock when you can't trust the economic system the church is built on a rock he said i'm bread i'm sustainment he will sustain you beyond anything in this world can sustain you he's something that you can trust in when everything else is beginning to fade away and the sustainment of the world is being tried at every point he's trying to show you something i am something that you can trust that will be there when everything else is fading away i am your sustainment amongst the famine i am your sustainment come on and he

said i'm like a river it it's gonna be it's gonna be thirst quenching like a cold drink of water on a hot day when you're working outside in the sun and you take that cold drink of water and it's like life unto your soul he said that's the only way i know how to describe the holy ghost it's life unto your soul it'll quench your thirst it'll make you feel good when the world my my my there's something about understanding who your god is but he didn't stop by teaching us about the rock or the river or bread you see wind all throughout the bible you see that when god was ready to bring back the flood waters after he had judged the world the bible said he sent a wind and that wind resurrected life upon the earth when the earth was being purged of sin

and righteousness came through on the other side on that boat the only man that found grace in the eyes of the lord he said i know how to bring life again i'll send the wind because it's not enough to have the water you've also got to have the wind and it was the water that that pushed the water it was the wind that pushed the water off of the earth and then you see that when israel was faced with an enemy behind them and the red sea in front of them and they accused moses they said have you brought us out here to die god said moses i'll tell you what you need to do you just need to touch the water because when you touch the water you're going to release the wind it seems like water and wind always find this connection in scripture and as he touched

the water the bible said a strong east wind began to blow all night and it was the wind that made away was there was no way you got to understand that when the enemy is hot on your tail and you feel like there's no way ahead of you you've got to not lean on to your own understanding you've got to trust that the wind will blow and it will make a way whether it's no i know i know you've come with difficulties here on a sunday morning i know you've come with situations that seem greater than you and i know you've prayed prayers like god where are you uh why have you allowed all of this to happen can i tell you uh you're one moment away from the wind making a way where there is no way something about the wind we read in john chapter

three he said you got to be born again nicodemus said how in the world can you be born again he said you're thinking through the natural venture with me into the supernatural you got to be born of water and spirit well what should i like in the spirit unto what i've been telling you the spirit is like from the old testament it's like the wind nicodemus knew what he was talking about he knew about how the wind parted the red sea he knew how the wind caused the flood waters to subside and noah land upon dry ground and begin life again he knew he knew about the wind the wind was not a strange subject he knew the wind as ruah akadesh he knew the wind as the blowing it was god manifesting himself upon the earth he knew what he was talking about when he talked about the wind he said it's

got to be water and spirit you can't miss that it's like the wind and everybody that's born they're going to be born of the spirit it's going to be like an unto the wind and when you read that word wind we understand in the original it literally means spirit he said the spirit would blow and you would hear a sound that word sound is where you get the word phony from or phonics you and i get the word language from he said that when the spirit begins to blow there would be a language that would testify that the spirit has filled the house that's why on the day of pentecost when it was fully come and there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all of them what did they begin to do they begin to speak in other tongues they released

the phony the language that said the spirit has not just filled this house but it's filled this house you want to know why you got to speak in tongues because the tongue is the sign that you've been filled with the holy ghost the tongue is not the holy ghost it's the testimony god has filled this house so is everyone that is born of the spirit not one or two not three or four not a hundred and twenty not three thousand not the everybody that's born of the spirit they got to speak in tongue we don't believe in cessation we don't believe it stopped we know in this house the wind still blowing you feel that that's the wind you feel that that's the holy ghost that's the spirit of the living god blowing through this out come on you want to worship because you know who he is you want to praise him because

you know who he is if i got anybody filled with the holy ghost lift your hands loose your voice and let the wind do the work in this house you may be seated i learned about the wind we understand that wind is the meeting of two pressure systems when the sun begins to heat up the earth and heats it up and the hot air and the cold air meet and it causes a wind i feel it in the atmosphere today not the su in heating up the earth that we stand upon but the so in heating up the earth that got the breath of life breathed into it in the book of genesis i feel the wind blowing upon earth in this house that which god pulled you from not the su in the so you feel that uneven heating in here i feel like somebody coming to this place and said i'm tired of

being lukewarm i'm tired of being cool i need god to heat me up come on somebody that's why it's holy ghost and fire it'll heat your soul up it'll burn out iniquity it'll burn out sin it'll burn out transgressive my my my as i begin to study about the wind i learned that there are local winds and there are global winds there are six wind belts seven if you include a jet stream and i found that very interesting that there were seven global winds my uncle mark taught me something and he said that tw barns was praying if you don't know him he was an old prophet of god when he died and they saw his place of prayer they said he had literally worn a hole in the earth in his backyard where he would circle in prayer hour after hour after hour and he said that there are seven princes in the earth seven princes of darkness that are

trying to withstand the church of the living god something connected when he told me that that there are seven global winds and there are seven principalities upon the earth trying to withstand revival something clicked in my head that for every principality god's got a global wind you didn't hear what i just said for every evil spirit upon the earth there's a wind from heaven that says i will not allow it to stand in the face of my church i'm gonna send a revival from the north the south the east and the west come on he's gonna send a revival to asia he's gonna send a revival to egypt come on i was preaching i just found out about this at my dad's church in january and there was an indian man that was there he was a trinitarian came with a lady in my dad's church i just learned all of this i knew he was a trinitarian

minister but i didn't know the full story he came to the states to get his degree in theology while he was there the holy ghost impressed upon me to start preaching about the oneness of god and i preached oneness every way i knew how to preach oneness and that trinitarian got filled with the baptism of the holy ghost pastor on that sunday and i'm gonna be honest with you i thought that's where the story ended but last week my dad called me he said you know that man that got the holy ghost when you were in revival here i said yes sir he said he pastors 15 000 people in india and not only did he get baptized with the holy ghost he received the revelation of the oneness of god and got baptized in jesus name and he is asking that we come next summer and preach to all of his congregations because he

said he doesn't need to be the only one that has the revelation of the oneness of god but he wants all of the constituents of which he pastors to receive the revelation of the oneness of god get baptized in jesus name can i tell you there is a global wind god's gonna send one to india god's gonna send one to asia god's gonna send one to america god's gonna send come on i'm telling you god's got a global harvest that i have not seen and i don't care every devil that tries to withhold it there will be a wind that tears down every principality and every power and every ruler of darkness come on let's worship right now something just moved in here you feel that you feel the holy ghost moving through here right now that's what happens when you say lord let the

holy ghost flow let the revelation of the wind come upon my lost family let it come upon my community let it come upon every neighborhood every state come on let it come upon every nation every tribe and every tongue hallelujah but there's not just global winds there's local winds there's local winds the studying about local winds i learned that the topography of the land is what controls how the wind maneuvers through a land the wind doesn't blow in florida like it does i learned in south dakota this weekend and it doesn't blow in south dakota like it does in montana it doesn't blow in montana like it does in california and it doesn't blow in america quite like it does in other nations so i begin to learn at the topography which is the characteristics that make up the land mountains buildings trees wind breaks they affect how the wind can cut through a land

they affect how the wind can maneuver through a land that's why you can't copy and paste revival that's why you can't copy and paste how one church is having revival and say that's how we're going to have revival now there are revival principles prayer fasting and the word and outreach that will send revival but how the wind blows determines how the characteristics of the land friend that's why you got to get alone in a prayer room and you've got to let god speak to you how he wants to reach your family because god's got a unique wind on how he's going to come for your family god's got a unique wind on how he's going to come for your loss look you need to hear what i'm saying i'm in the holy ghost right now come on i know you heard a testimony about how somebody's family got saved can i tell you something god's got something for

you and your family god's got a wind of revival that he wants to blow through your house that my mind do you believe what i'm preaching right now there is a wind that god wants to send through this region that's why when we begin to meet during the week and we have prayer in a cafe and we begin to fast as a church body we begin to join together things begin to just intensify why because you're doing revival principles and then god begins to say all right now i'm gonna send a wind out to that neighborhood and i'm gonna grab somebody and bring them here and i'm gonna send a wind out to that person and i'm gonna grab her and i'm gonna bring them in why because when you begin to do what you can do god begins to do what only god can do

if you don't believe me ask daniel daniel hit his knees and begin to pray for 21 days fast for 21 days and he thought god had forsaken him little did he know that while daniel was praying and fasting god was in the atmosphere fighting the fight daniel could not fight because when you're doing what god wants you to do god can do what you cannot do i wonder what type of wind uh is going to blow on this prayer walk i wonder what type of wind god has for this service and i refuse to be in the way lord maneuver through here how you desire my my my my my my let me tell you something we learned this this week that if the wind gets intense enough there is nothing that can stop a wind when the wind begins to intensify when the wind begins to intensify i didn't just feel a storm surge on the news i feel

a storm surge in palm bay right now i feel a surge coming through this how the kind of surge that brings within miracles the kind of surge that brings within restoration the kind of sort come on somebody can you feel it in this how does anybody want to be a conduit of the wind and say you can use me you can you my my my come on i'm not here to play church i'm here to let god have his will and god have his way i dare you to let the holy ghost blow on your family you've been depressed to lose the wind you've been i'm reminded of david when the philistines came up against him david goes out he and his men and they put a great a whipping on the brothers they go fleeing running away they're gone out of here they leave their idols their images

the lord began to deal with me there are some victories that he'll let you win that are surface level but the next time the philistines came back and david began to pray lord what do i do now how do i fight this fight now how do i defeat the enemy that's coming against me now they have spread lord in the valley of rifaheem they have spread and they're all around us what do we do and the lord says david i've got a quick answer for you get yourself like a compass and surround yourself and when you begin to hear the sound of going in the top of the mulberry trees when the wind begins to blow david there are things that you can't win in the valley deep things you begin to study the valley of rifaheem and it just means mysterious it's a deep valley come on the mysterious things the things that you thought you couldn't get

overcome and david gets the instruction of the lord and he says you just go hang out around the trees where you can feel the witness of the wind because if you'll let the wind go david i'll fight the fight you can't win i'll fight the battle you can't fight come on somebody some of you know how to fight by your strength when warfare looks like your strength and you're flexing come you know how to fight the fight you can't win but what are you gonna do with the fight god says you can't win you know what you do you posture yourself in a position to hear the wind begin to blow and when the wind blows the lord says i have gone before you to fight the fight you aren't well enough to fight somebody ought to lift your hands right now and say blow through my

house blow through my family come on everybody stand to your feet and lift your hands and say holy ghost flow through this house oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah come on lift your voices and get desperate for the wind uh deep wounds come on somebody i'm preaching to somebody in this house right now deep wounds wounds of betrayal wounds of bitterness wounds of unforgiving wounds of hurt and heartache what do you do when you fight the fight you know how to fight you posture yourself to hear the wind begin to minister in the atmosphere friend there's some things only the holy ghost can do and it will not be by your might and it will not be by your power it will be by the spirit say it the lord god you feel that you feel that you feel that that's the wind fighting the fight you can't fight

you feel that that's the holy ghost ministering where you can't minister that's the power of us a kind of glory saying i'll go where you cannot go shut uh listen i'm done listen to me just for a second the holy ghost is here i'm almost done listen just stay standing i'm done i'm reminded of the twelve disciples pastor when they're in the boat after the miraculous had fed a multitude they had seen the power of god and it worked and he says go to the other side and they thought they were going to get there by their own strength because the bible said they began to row while they were rowing a contrary wind showed up and they began to fear the wind because the wind is what caused the wave and the rowing against the contrary wind i can see the fatigue beginning to set into their muscles

i see them you know you know the jelly arm you get when you're at the gym anybody ever know what i'm talking about yeah that's when your spotter has to take over you know what i'm talking about that happened ever too often to me praise god i see the fatigue setting in because the wind seemingly was working against them but it was not working against them it was holding them in place for a visitation that was coming over the waves i don't know why i'm feeling like i'm feeling right now but i feel like preaching to somebody in this place that you feel like moving is the right move for you because it would appear as though there's been a contrary wind working against you you feel like leaving the church is the answer for you because the contrary wind has caused you to stand still a little longer than

you thought you were going to stand still something it appeared as though was working against you and you just thought well you know what it's not the will of god for me to be here i'll give into the wind and let it blow me away from this place of visitation man i'm i'm i'm in the holy ghost right now you've been rowing against the wind you've been working the work you could work and you thought it was a contrary wind of the enemy when it was the revelation that god was going to bring because of the wind and while the wind was holding them contrary here comes jesus waltzing on the water i ain't even going to preach about peter walking to him i don't have time to preach that but what i do read is this is that when they let him in the

boat the bible says and immediately they were to the other side i'm preaching to somebody in the holy ghost right now it's not a coincidence you're here today it's not by accident you're here today you have fought everything you know to fight and you've blamed the devil and you've blamed everything else and little did you know it was the lord positioning you for a visitation and had he not have held you where you were at you would have missed the revelation of what was getting in the boat with you my lord because god's going to speed it up on the other side god help me right now you feel that right now come on i feel something shifting in the atmosphere dare i say that god is getting this church ready to not just have a regional wind that's going to affect this area dare i say that god is positioning us for global winds that are going to release here and not

just impact here but are going to impact nations dare i say that there is a revelation of the wind every heartache was bringing us to this point every pain was bringing us to this point every bit of hurt was bringing us to this point every bit of it was positioning for revelation it was positioning for demonstration oh come on that's it you need god to touch you you want to run to this altar you need god to heal you you want to run to this altar you need the baptism of the holy ghost you want to run to this altar lift your hands and say holy ghost fall right here holy ghost fall right here come on that's it lift your voices all over the house every hand lifted every voice lifted loose the wind come on lift your voices lift your voices from the left to the right from the front to the back

every voice every voice under the lord right now come on that's the ministry help me pray for somebody somebody full of faith reach over and lay hands on somebody come on east wind turn around and lay hands on your neighbor you know they need the holy ghost pray them through you know they need a miracle be the conduit of the wind oh that's it pray with intensity pray with desperation pray with longing right now pray with the longing in your spirit right now come on all the way in the back row lift your hands and lift your voices in the middle lift your hands and lift your voices let there be a sound of the wind testify from the left to the right from the front to the back thank you music for being ready I see too many of you looking and singing songs instead of letting the wind do what the wind

wants to do I don't want you looking at the music team I don't want you looking at words on the screen this is a moment of divine demonstration of the power of the holy ghost we're not here for entertainment we're not here to look and be a spectator we're here to allow the wind of the holy ghost to to not blow around us but blow through us without any music I want every hand lifted all over this building I want every voice lifted all over this building you're either going to be a conduit of the wind or you're going to be blown come on every voice raised under the Lord from the left to the right lift your voices there are people seeking miracles there are people seeking the holy ghost all over this house I pray right now upon the authority of the word of God

and the power that's in the only saving name of Jesus let the fresh wind of the holy ghost flow through this house every voice come on worship him praise him magnify him come on without anything to lean on but the holy ghost without anything to lean on but the holy ghost out of your belly let it flow like a river out of your belly let it flow like a river let it flow like a river let it flow like a river come on that's it young men that's it young ladies that's it elders that's it young marriage let it flow let it flow through this house I hear the sound of the wind I hear the sound of going I hear it go into your valley I hear it go into your valley come on I hear it go into the deep thing you've been praying

about let it flow in this house come on if you've never been baptized in Jesus name this is the day of salvation we have water we have robes we have a changing room we have towels get in covenant with Jesus before you leave here come on it's a command from Peter the man with the keys of the kingdom be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and receive you the gift of the holy ghost and there's ministry happening all over this house come on turn and lay hands on your neighbor turn and pray for your brother turn and be a conduit of the wind turn and allow God to flow through you right now tell you what I feel to do in the holy ghost right now I know many have left can I have everybody's attention just for a second we're not going

to quench anything we're not going to fight we're not going to stop anything if you are desperate in your soul desperate desperate for deliverance to come to you today whatever it may be whatever that deliverance would look like if you're desperate in your soul for the power of the holy ghost to deliver you from things today would you do me a favor would you make a step of faith and would you come stand right here you're desperate for deliverance in this house right now doesn't matter what it looks like what that deliverance may be I want you to come I want you to stand right here thank you thank you thank you make some room right here this sister's coming beautiful beautiful there's some more that need to come I see it come on thank you Jesus ministry would you help me right now ministry that's here ministry team

can we get some men some ladies that would help me pray right now we've got people that are seeking deliverance in this house want you to hear me want you look at me just for a second you have to believe that at the spoken word of faith that the holy ghost is going to be released upon you it will not be by my might nor by my power nor by the power of anybody that's going to lay their hands on you but in the simplistic power of the holy ghost things are going to be delivered from your mind they're going to be delivered from your spirit addiction is going to be broken oppression is going to be broken it's here right now it's here right now ministry I want you to help me I want you to take authority in this situation I want you to lay your hand upon their head and I want you to pray the prayer of faith right now ever

hand lifted all over this house those of you that need deliverance in your mind your body whatever it may be ministry if you need to come up here and pray come up here and pray whatever you need to do weave your way through this upon the authority of the word of God and the power that's in the only saving name of Jesus Christ Lord I just asked that you would lose the power of the holy ghost through love right now to deliver every mind every heart and every soul let it be done in this very moment right now in Jesus name let those that need the holy ghost receive the holy ghost let those that need deliverance receive deliverance let every addiction be broken let every mind be set free come on that's it that's it that's it that's it ministry lay hands on them

by the power of the holy ghost be done
