why don't you give the lord a handclap of praise and while you're clapping your hands lift your voice with a shout out come on if god's never done anything for you you ought to just take about 15 seconds and lift your voice you know thank you jesus because you didn't have to do it but you did you didn't have to save me but you did you didn't have to make a way out of nowhere but you're a god that makes your way out of nowhere i praise you i thank you i give you glory thank you jesus thank you jesus amen it is wonderful to be in god's house hallelujah if you have your bibles tonight in the book of psalms psalm chapter 145 psalm 145 and we will read from beginning in verse 1. while you're turning there let me say again what an honor and privilege it is to be here tonight i love you very much love this church love your pastor first family they are wonderful people my friends and i appreciate everything that they are doing for the kingdom and i believe that greater is still on the way i believe that god is still pouring out his spirit hey let me just tell you if you don't have the holy ghost you don't have to leave here without it tonight amen amen again pastor smith i give you honor tonight i give honor to the saints of god if there's anything i learned a little over a year ago when i was standing in this place right here it's how much i love the saints of god hallelujah and you you don't know what dumb feels like until you stand in this building and preach to a camera ain't that the truth pastor smith and so i give honor to the saints of the lord tonight isn't it wonderful that we can just come together be in god's house and worship him in spirit and in truth amen amen psalms chapter 145 verse 1 david writing says i will extol thee my god o king and i will bless thy name forever and ever every day will i bless thee and i will praise thy name forever and ever great is the lord and greatly to be praised david then stops and in all of his poetic greatness he begins to describe the lord in just a very few words he says and his greatness is unsearchable if god will help us tonight i will just get a simple word that the lord put in my spirit i want to preach to you just simply this unsearchable greatness unsearchable greatness would you help me right now by lifting your hands and your voice to heaven one more time god we love you we praise you we give you glory give you thanks there's nobody like you in heaven on earth come on somebody touched the hem of his garment right now we put our trust in you today our trust is not in ourselves our trust is not in man our trust is not in our ability but our trust is in you our faith is in you our hope is in you believing that you're going to work you are the author and the finisher of our faith and we ask you tonight god fill somebody with the gift of the holy ghost in this house in jesus name we pray and everyone said amen would you give the lord one more big hand clap of praise come on just clap your hands but lift your voice and give god a shout of praise thank you jesus thank you jesus amen you may be seated as long as you promise to help me preach tonight the nature of the book of psalms is in my own opinion it describes the nature of christ the church of god it describes nature in itself it's wonderful because it's poetic yeah it's prophetic and it's from the book of psalms that we can learn the ebb and the flow of the spirit of god if you want to understand how preachers preach you can read the book of psalms and see how a preacher will enter into a service and preach through his sermon as it flows such as the book of psalms flows it's it goes even deeper than that it is the flow of life the help and flow of life as david and asap and other men writers begin to tell us exactly what it's like to experience the highs that they had and the lows that they have one of the greatest places to read in the word of god and understand the never changing yet always

moving character of god is the book of psalms it is easy to see the character of god it's very plain as david prince and psalms chapter 103 bless the lord o my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name bless the lord o my soul and forget not all his benefits and as david begins to list the benefits of god david understands that the benefits of god are as well the character of god it is in this psalm that he is a forgiver he is a healer he is a redeemer he is the lover of our soul he's compassionate he is the renewer of our spirit and the result of his character is that your youth will be renewed like the eagles we can go from there to psalms chapter 23 it shows us again the character of god it is here that he is a shepherd he is a provider he is a great guide in dark and troubled times he is the one that prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies we don't have to worry because he is the anointer of our head and surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life that is the character of god and that is the benefit of god when you live for him his character is your benefit and such can be said of every psalm from psalm chapter 1 to psalm chapter 150 there are a lot of adjectives that describe the lord and his greatness but of all the psalms that describe his greatness it is my own opinion that the greatness of god is best explained here in psalms 145 in just four words as david says his greatness is unsearchable his greatness is unfathomable you can't you can look high and you can look low and you will never find really how great god is when you find out how great god is he automatically becomes greater when you find out how big god is he automatically becomes bigger when you find out how strong he is all of a sudden he just becomes stronger the unsearchable greatness of god is there for a reason to show you that god is bigger not than just your situation but god is bigger than you can even imagine what he is you find out that god's stronger and i'm gonna tell you today friend he's so much stronger than that his greatness is unsearchable you can look higher and you can look lower and you'll never find out how great god is good is not good enough great is not great enough awesome it's not awesome enough powerful it's not powerful enough we usually come to hear about us but i'm just going to tell you about him tonight i know you want to know what what's gonna happen in your situation well i'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen in your situation the god of unsearchable greatness can step down and begin to heal and begin to move and begin to deliver and begin to make a way out of nowhere hallelujah like david we have adopted our own songs we sing songs like waymaker miracle worker promise keeper light in the darkness and we know the song that is who you are but the truth of the matter is it's just because that's who he is doesn't mean that's all he is yeah because you can know him as a miracle worker but he's not just a miracle worker and you can know him as a healer but he's not just a healer so you can call in jehovah jaira because that's who he is but honey that's not all he is and you can call him jehovah rapha god my healer because that is who he is but baby that ain't all he is because when you need a healer he's a healer and more when you need a delivery when you need a deliverer he's a deliverer when you need a waymaker he's so much more whatever you need god hey say this is stuff we already know yeah but just let me remind you because god is greater there will never be a situation that he can't handle because he's the god of unsearchable greatness when the enemy creates great bondage god creates a greater breakthrough when the enemy creates a great my god a great test god creates a greater testimony

when relationship caused great heartache god creates great healing when friends walk away and cause you to feel greatly forsaken he said i'll never leave you i'll never forsake you i am the god of unsearchable greatness can i just tell you what i feel like somebody needs to hear tonight on a tuesday night when religion fails you when shaking the preacher's hand doesn't work anymore when signing a church card didn't fix your problems you don't need let me just tell you something if there's anything i hate is religion we don't need religion we need an experience because when you get an experience with a great god it doesn't matter what you call yourself you'll understand he's the god he's the call of a sensible greatness and he's able to do whatever i need him to do see can i take you to ephesians chapter 3 and verse 20. i'm just going to talk i know this is going to be simple tonight but this is what the holy ghost told me to preach so let's take it up with him ephesians chapter 3 and verse 20 one of the most misquoted scriptures in the bible this is how we preach it now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly but that's not what the bible says boy you quit unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly not exceedingly exceeding abundantly simply meaning that whatever you think abundant is god is able to do greater than abundant above all that you can ask or even think i'm here to tell somebody today your faith is not too big for your god oh well we gotta we gotta have a seven step plan i gotta have revival honey your face not too big for your god you serve the god of unsearchable greatness if you can believe god for a thousand sir revival that god can give you because he's able to do greater than abundantly greater than you can ask to think he's the god of the greater i know i'm across some of your theology right here but i'm just going to tell you right now what i believe this is just me brother smith i believe that 100 soul revivals are a thing of the past i'm ready to see them by the thousands you don't know what's going on here in dayton i don't have to know what's going on in dayton it don't matter how much drugs on the streets it doesn't matter how much alcohol is somehow it's on the streets you know i heard oh i know this is a nice building but i'm looking for the day that this is just a sunday school room because we got a god that is somebody shout greater shout it again shout greater i understand that you're facing you see because there's this thing about a great god i'm gonna get a little bit ahead of myself right now but maybe i can tie it all back together here towards the end this great god creates great things but the great things always have to face great devils if i can just put it like that i just tell you on my own i faced demons that were bigger than me i guess i'm the only one i got six people that are that are human the rest of y'all so spiritual you ain't never faced the demon i said i face demons that are bigger than me but can i tell you something when you are facing things that look like they're bigger than you you need to get the faith that moses had and said aaron i know they've got rods and their eyes can turn to snakes just like your rod can turn to snakes but throw it down anyway and when aaron's rod gets done it's going to consume the rod it's going to consume the rod of the magicians you want to know why because god is greater than the magician and god hey let me tell you something i i'm not in this thing to have a halfway experience with god i'm not in this thing to just go halfway

i want the greater revival i want the greater breakthrough i want the greater miracle science and wonders hallelujah you understand that this great god has great things by reading about men by like men by the name of abram god was interested in abram not because of where abram was or where abram had been but god was interested in abram because of where abram was going abram come out of the land of your father and i'll make you a great nation and i will bless you and i will make your name great because a great god makes great things let me tell you something don't you ever let anybody tell you that you can't be great because of where you've been or where you are god's not interested in where you've been or where you are god's interested abram are you willing to walk out of the land of your father are you willing to come out of the addiction are you willing to come out of the homosexuality are you willing to come out of the pornography are you willing to come just come on out because abram if you're interested in coming out i'll make you great i don't care what side of the tracks you came from who your mama was who your daddy was i'm telling you when you walk out of the land of your father's home and you receive this holy ghost god said i'll make you great god's got a way of bringing greatness out of the gutters honey it don't matter where you came from just know god wants to make you great wants to make you great i know i know what society says your daddy was an addict so you're going to be an addict your mama was an alcoholic so you're going to be an alcoholic but abram come out of that come out of the land of your fathers come out of the hell you've been living in and i will make you grey i'm telling you maybe you're a visitor here tonight maybe it's your second or third time and you're looking around and seeing these folks with with nice dresses and nice suits and ties but honey you don't know where they came from i've been around here enough to tell you there's some extra drug addicts on these pews there's some ex-alcoholics on these pews there's some people that their life was twisted and messed up but i tell you what they did they came out of the land of their fathers and now you see the suit and the time you know what that is god said because you came out i'll make you great and i'll bless you and all the nations of the world are gonna be blessed because of you you don't even know how great you're gonna be abram everybody's gonna be blessed because of you it's it's the redemptively pastor smith the business owners in dayton don't know how good they got it because they got the people of god that worked for them god said i'm going to make them great and everything they touch it's going to turn me it's going to become great everywhere they go there's gonna be greatness where they go everything they do is gonna have greatness connected to it because a great god creates great things and so can i preach through this tonight do i have the time god god god allows abram he tells him i've got a great promise but the way that great promise comes is through great tests because you can't have greater miracles on average faith you can't see that exceeding abundantly having average faith and and so god gives abram the greater promise and he says i'm going to make your name great and and your your sons and your children are going to be like the stars of heaven and then he sends them to egypt can i tell you something this is the part of this message we don't like but the promise always has to go through egypt you'll never get a promise that was from god if it doesn't have an egypt experience in it if you're blessed and you haven't been through egypt you might want to check yourself and see where you're getting your blessings from because you you might be fighting on the wrong team here yeah see because he goes and then the bible says that the men of egypt looked at his wife sarah and that she was beautiful to look upon and so then then the bible says that pharaoh takes sarah to to his house and i i just got a simple question for you tonight how are you going to live for god when your promise has to live with pharaoh

how you how are you going to shout on tuesday night when your promise is living at pharaoh's house see because we we like the part of of being blessed and and we like the part of getting the promise but we don't like the process of our promise having to live at pharaoh's house so abram you can get upset and you can live in torment or you can say great peace have they that love thy law and nothing shall offend them because a great god creates great things and even though i'm in great trial i know that my promise is greater than my the pharaoh you do what you got to do because you go read your bible in genesis chapter 13 and verse 2 and it's the very first time that the bible uses the word rich to describe abraham and if you back up one scripture to genesis chapter 13 and verse 1 the bible says that abram got up and he left egypt i'm telling you that he's never been listed as rich he's never been blessed he's never had the camels that he had until he went to egypt i'm here to tell somebody tonight if you can live for god while your promise is at pharaoh's house when you leave each other you're leaving rich i know right now that it don't look good but abram let me remind you something i am your exceeding great reward i'm better than your great reward i know how to work it out yeah so just just just let me kind of can i preach a little longer so the story continues god allows him to leave egypt and he lives he leaves egypt with great riches and great blessings and all of these wonderful things and then the bible says that he has a son and his name is mishmill and ishmael we always preach about how cursed he is but you go read your bible when he talks about ishmael you know what god said about ishmael he said he'll be a great nation and 12 princes are going to come out of him and because god placed greatness on him because god placed greatness on ishmael abram had this ideology that this is where the promise is coming from but god speaks to him and says abram i want you to understand something it's not about ishmael it's about isaac because i'm not just interested in great i'm interested in greater than great and so when the bible starts talking about this man about about isaac it would go on to say that he grew and became great until he waxed very great ishmael's powerful but i want you to understand something i'm not just interested in having great church i'm not just interested in just having ishmael revival i'm not interested in having an ishmael tabernacle i'm not interested in having an ishmael breakthrough i want the isaac because isaac is greater than israel you want to know what your problem is you you're looking around and everybody is blessed more than you are it's because you've settled for an ishmael blessing and you're not reaching and holding on until you get the isaac blessing up don't be satisfied with this meal hang on until you get isaac i know you've had revival you have my great daddy in my opinion he's one of the greatest preachers in this world and i'm going to tell you right now that was a great revival but god's wanted to do something in each and every one of you that's so much greater than what happened there god's wanted to turn you in god's want to turn you in to an evangelist in this city and you absolutely blow it off the hinges god's not interested in just having great revival he wants the greater the story continues that isaac grows up and he takes a wife and when the time of children come that his wife receives a word from god he said god speaks and says there are two nations inside of you but let me tell you about what's going to happen the older although he'll be great he's going to serve the younger because i'm not interested god always starts with great and works towards greater he's never interested in just hanging out in greatness you want to know what i believe i believe that our greatest miracles are still in front of us because god never does anything and works backwards and and so understand what i'm telling

you esau will be great but you have to understand that esau is a man of the field meaning that esau is always looking at natural things but jacob he's a man of the heavenlies as esau's looking at the ground jacob's going to be laying his head on the pillow and looking into the heavenlies and so i want to use his saw because he is a great man and he'll do great things and he'll walk in this earth but i'm interested in somebody that'll daydream every now and again now i'm interested in somebody that when they lay their head on the pillar they're not thinking about what's going on in the earth around them but they're thinking about what's going on in the heavenlies above them i'm going to tell you tonight i'm not worried about who the president is who's in congress who's in the senate and all that stuff the country boy and me don't like it but i'm going to tell you something right now it ain't about buying that it's not it ain't about all that job because the truth of the matter is that ain't our kingdom and if you're so caught up in this world you're interested in an esau revival but jacob you need to look up and understand that something greater is happening than who's in the senate and who's in the white house and who's doing this and who's doing that i'm interested in somebody that'll understand yes there are great things happening but i'm not gonna accept i'm not gonna sit here and just accept the grade when god has greater and so i'm trying to hurry i promise brother smith i know y'all got to get up and go to work in the morning and i respect that but just give me a can i have about 15 more minutes jacob does some great things but god's continually getting greater and continually creating greater things and so if you if you'll go to the new testament in john chapter 4 you'll find that there's a woman that is setting out a whale and this woman as she's sitting here she she's fixing to draw water and jesus walks up and says would you give me something to drink and her first question is aren't you supposed to be a racist for what do the jews have to do with the samaritans but what she didn't understand what was inside was him was greater than racism oh i'm just gonna preach like it's 20 21 right here for a minute i know we we got everybody hating everybody because you ain't the same color as me and we didn't come from the same background but i'm gonna tell you when you got what i got it's greater than that i don't care if you're red yellow black white pink with purple polka dots it don't matter when you get the greater on the inside i'll tell you what this world needs it doesn't need somebody to stand up and lead a movement it needs an apostolic church to stand up and say let me tell you whether in black hole black crime white on black crime black hole white crime hispanic on his face and all that you get the holy ghost and it'll make you love your brother you get the holy ghost and you'll get ahold of the greater we got the answer to what this world needs it's i'm telling you the holy ghost is bigger it's greater than racism it's greater than poverty it's greater than at all and because of this this racial statement that's made it's already in her mind well what can he do to help me because he's of a a different origin yeah y'all jews y'all don't even like us we we come from the wrong sides of the tracks and she says i know what i'll do i'll get him and so she sits down and she says are you greater than jacob that gave us the swell and jesus just looks at her and says honey if you drink of this well you're going to thirst again but if you drink of the water that i give you will never thirst again because this water that i give it's going to be a well of everlasting life this water that i give is greater than the water that jacob cave this water that i give is greater than what abraham came this water that i give is greater let me just tell you something if you've been trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together

and you still come up short at the end of the month and you still come up short when you're trying to find peace and joy just take a drink from this well because when you get a drink of this well it's great it's greater it's greater it's it's everlasting life it's greater than life it's it's something that'll give you a reason to shout you can drink of this water but you're gonna thirst again but when you get when you get a taste of this you'll never thirst again say well well how do we know because haggai prophesied as he said the glory we understand he's been they're building the temple and the prophetic word comes forth and how how great of a building it really is the foundation's been laid it's been 70 years of talking about it about praying about revival about hoping for revival about saying we're going to build a new building i know y'all aren't thinking about that right now because you can see that the balcony is pretty empty but i'm already looking and saying god what can you do in dayton that's so big that they got to build a new building that'll seat 2 500 3 000 3500. he said the glory of this ladder house will be greater than that of the farmer you want to know why because i'm not interested in what's going on god's already looking into the future and saying i've got greater revival i've got greater miracles i am the god of the unsearchable greatness you don't get very far into the bible until you start finding this out about god it's just in his nature he can't let himself out do himself and so in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth but that wasn't good enough because the earth was void and without form and so the spirit of the lord began to move on the face of the deep and as the spirit of the lord began to move upon the face of the deep god said let there be light and there was life and so now god has done something greater than he has done before but you get on down to verse 16 in genesis chapter 1 and it will tell you exactly what god the way god works because it says he my lord i can't even quote it that fast and god made two great lights now watch this and the greater light meaning that god started with something great and worked towards the great and i understand i'm missing across all your theologies and how you think but it'll be all right you'll be you'll be fine when i get done and the lesser knight to rule the night now this is just me i can't believe that god started with the greater light and then went to the great light because god never works backwards and if that be true and say well preacher i don't really believe that then explain something to me why through the book of genesis chapter one does it read and the evening and the morning were the first day why why does it really i know where we think we think of morning time and evening time but when god starts he starts with something great and works towards the greater so he creates a great light and then brings on the greater light we see that in form in john chapter one in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god you get down to verse 6 and you say that there was a man sent from god whose name was john the same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through him might believe he was not the light but was sent to bear witness of the light skip on down to verse 26 you'll find that john answered them saying i baptized with water but there standeth one among you whom ye know not he it is who coming after me is preferred before me whose shoes latch it i am not worthy to unloose he was simply saying understand where we are right now it's just like it was in the beginning i am not the great light but i'm sent to bear witness of the great light and he says you see this one right here i've done great things but he is greater and as jesus is teaching us in matthew chapter 11 he says from the beginning of time all the way until now there has not been one greater than john the baptist but i say unto you that even the least in the kingdom is greater than john meaning that you have a commission that what john did you're gonna do greater and it goes a little bit deeper than that because you can go to john chapter 14 and you can read what jesus said he said verily verily i say unto you the works that i do shall ye do and greater works than these because i go unto my father i'm telling this place you haven't had your best revival yet you haven't seen your greatest miracle yet you haven't seen your greatness breakthrough yet

you have pastor smith you ain't preached your best message choir you ain't saying your best song because god is still bringing you towards greater it's just it's just the way i know what you're thinking preacher we don't seen all this kind of stuff there's only one thing how how can we do greater than jesus let me tell you healed the sick he raised the dead he opened the blinded eyes but there's one thing he didn't do in his earthly ministry when jesus walked on this earth he never laid hands on anybody and they received the baptism of the holy ghost and so when he said greater things than these he wasn't just saying you're going to lay hands on the sick and they're going to recover because you're going to do that i've already told you that but greater things than these you're going to go to church on tuesday night and somebody's going to come in broken and somebody's going to come in out of the cutter and you're going to lay hands on them and they're going to repent of their sins and i'm going to fill them with the gift of the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues i'm going to give you the power to do greater i'm going to give you the anointing to do greater well preacher there's no new thing under the sun what can god do honey he created the sun if he wants to make a new thing he can make a new thing if he wants to do greater he can do greater even the very first miracle that he did shows that he's a god that starts with the grave and works towards the greater he shows up in a marriage and they said we don't have any wine and his mama said you just do what he said really it's not my time yet shut up boy do what he says and we always preach about the water turning into wine as the miracle but you want to know what my opinion is on the miracle the miracle wasn't the water to wine that's easy for him the miracle happens when when the the man over the wedding takes a drink and he says most people put the best out front and then as everybody gets drunk they start putting out weaker wine but not here you saved the best for last you know the miracle was is what we had was great but this is greater and little did he know that he was prophesying because the prophets that we've had were great and the miracles that we've had were great elijah was great but jesus told jesus he is greater and because he is a great god and creates great things he has a great people and a great people have great victory because he said in romans nay and these things you are more fan conquerors i come to preach to somebody tonight that this great god that creates great things that has a great people gives them great victory because it's not the way with god to just give you victory he said you're mad not a conqueror you're greater than victorious you're greater you're greater you're greater musicians come i'm closing please stand with me all over this house if a great god creates great things and has great people that have great victory it only makes sense that those great people that have great victory give great praise can you can you give me psalms chapter 150 and verse 2. the bible tells us praise him for his mighty acts but then it says to praise him in a certain way praise him according i'm fixing to mix up all your little tuesday night half step right here praise him according to his excellent greatness now just hear me out if god is greater today he's the god of unsearchable greatness that's what david said he said he's just always going to keep getting greater so if god is greater today than he was on sunday and i am commanded in scripture to praise him according to his greatness if his greatness is always getting greater doesn't make sense that my praise keeps getting greater i'm done but let me just tell you something there should never be a tuesday night

that you praised him less than you did on sunday night i know you're tired you've been at work all day but god's greater today than it was yesterday i said god's greater today than it was on sunday you you came in here on sunday night and baby you shattered your hair down because it was sunday night but do you know that god is greater right now than he was back then god created the lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our god in the mountain of his holiness beautiful situation i'm telling you god is worthy of your greatest god is worthy of your greatness let me tell you i just i i'm done i promise i'm done i'm entitled to three closings this is my second if god is greater and our praise is greater god will not let you out do him i'm telling somebody right now that's facing demons bigger than you've ever faced before that the the the key to opening up the door to your greater miracle is in your greater praise the key to opening up the door to your greater breakthrough is in your greater praise i don't care how long they said we won't come we won't be a part of i'm telling a mama right now i don't care how many times you shouted about your children coming to church and they ain't came out and they're still out here and they're still saying we're not coming and they're still saying i don't want to go i'm telling you that the key that unlocks the door to greater miracles is when you come to church and you don't feel like it and you don't want to and your flesh says no but you come to an altar and you bow your knee and you lift your hands and say god you're still great in spite of what i'm going through you're still great in spite of my trauma come on he's greater he's greater he's greater god is greater that's a greater miracle in this your greater household there's a greater breakthrough in this house just how great i know we can't pity everybody up here please i understand i understand we live in an era where everybody if you're worried about social distance and then then please find yourself a six foot circle and shout right there it don't matter but i'm telling everybody that feels comfortable i'm telling if you want a greater miracle you're gonna have to show god some greater faith just by an act of faith step out it don't matter if you get up here as close as you can it doesn't matter if you get all the way to the altar it doesn't matter if all you do is get out in the eye but just show god i've got greater faith than i had yesterday that you're going to work a greater miracle and because you're going to work a greater miracle i'm going to give you greater praise i'm going to give you a great come on come on come on somebody come on somebody come on somebody let it come out of your heart let it come out of your soul ready come on you want to pray right now the holy ghost that problem you got is not too big for the greater god come on that addiction you got's not too big for a greater god that financial struggle is not too big for a greater god come on come on come on he's still moving he's still moved
