there are some just some things that we need to get out of the way before we get to the word of the Lord and you won't preach too long but I think this started last Sunday morning brother david akers a OJC Sunday night brother Sean and Garnett al JC a Wednesday night for the gorge acres a o --jc Friday night with Mark McCool and Bishop Billy McCool a o --jc squared and then this morning the master of all preachers Bishop JH Osbourne AO JC then here we are tonight we have a small dilemma so I wanted the bishop to know that I have here an application for the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ and highest fuel fuel jet I've already signed it if you'll just hold that I don't know I don't know when your next meeting is but we could get that through but being that I am a former executive board member of the United Pentecostal church I'm going to also take a little liberty tonight until that paperwork can get processed because I don't want to be out of order and be preaching for people I'm not supposed to be preaching to so I made an executive decision with the United Pentecostal church tonight and I have a certificate to present to your pastor Bishop carpenter if you'll come up here this says United Pentecostal Church International certificate of ordination this certifies that Kenneth carpenter isn't officially an ordained minister of the United Pentecostal Church for the next 24 hours ending Monday November the 4th at midnight 2019 welcome now this was already printed up before you made that super bold comment that you were watching a TV but but you saved it with the prayer meeting and so welcome welcome that TVs my mother-in-law's that's how we do it too amen and so so we just wanted to make sure that we didn't get in any trouble for cross-pollinating tonight you have your Bibles one it's just a hint Lord let's see what we can do here Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 I know it's been said multiple times so I don't want to just kick a dead horse but the carpenters and their entire family are just first-class people and this is my first time to experience church in the Taj Mahal and the mecca here so what a beautiful place glad my wife is with me the Carpenters have been very very good to us I consider brother carpenter my pastor and I consider him to have veto power in my life and if he were to ever need to pull my string or it set me down or reprimand me he is is open to do that because everybody needs a pastor and everybody needs somebody in their life and sitting right up here on the front row some great Saints from our church brother and sister Evans and then back here in the back some more great Saints brothers and sisters Sickler they these two couples are some of the hardest-working people I don't you know they're having church right now in Gainesville without these two couples there but so good to have them here brother carpenter we love you congratulations that ordination runs out tomorrow midnight so if you just stay away from the TV until then that would really help me and I'm not sure brother Bernard sanction that but we can find out later okay and we'll see how that goes jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 as you're turning there Morris and his wife Esther went to the State Fair every year every year Morris would tell Esther said I'd like to ride that helicopter and Esther always replied and said I know you would Morris but that helicopter ride is $50.00 and after all $50 as $50 they were in a building program too maybe and one year Esther and Morris went to the fair and Morris said Esther I'm 85 years old and if I don't ride that helicopter now I might not ever get another chance to which Esther replied mores that helicopter ride is $50 and after all $50 is $50 the pilot overheard the couple and said folks I'll make you a deal I'll take both of you on the ride if you can stay quiet the entire ride and not say one word I won't charge you but if you say one word it's 50 bucks so Morris and Esther agreed and they went up the pilot did all of his fancy tricks and they didn't say a word and he did some daredevil stunts and still not a word and when they landed the pilot turned to Morris and said my word you did it I did everything I could to get you to yell out but you didn't say one word I'm impressed and Morris replied well to tell you the truth I almost said something when Esther fell out but you know after all $50 is $50 now I don't know that I got a $50 sermon tonight but I know if you sit there and you don't say a word it's gonna sound a lot less like a five dollar sermon but if you'll help me preach it a little bit it might be a fifty dollar sermon Jeremiah 29:11 I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end the new living says it like this I know the plans I have for you says the Lord they are plans of good and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope I want to preach tonight on this thought the danger of confusing destiny with the destination the danger of confusing destiny with their destination if you gonna help me preach shut in ma'am god bless you may be seated and I know you're tired and we've had you've had a long week so we'll just try to weave through this to see what the Lord to do but if your neighbor goes to sleep just nudge him and wake them up it that'd be all right I think it's important for us to realize tonight that each and every one of us all of us that we have a destiny to fulfill I do not believe it is God's will for us to just casually float through our existences as individuals or as churches just punching the time clock able of life and waiting to die I do not believe that but rather I believe we all have something to do we have something to accomplish and we have a purpose we have something or someone that's waiting on each of us to fulfill our lives calling all of us everybody say all of us we were created with a purpose and that should fuel a desire in our heart that propels us to want more from God so wherever you are right now we're thankful for where you are but you should not be satisfied with that when you know that God has more for you than what you currently have it doesn't mean we're not grateful it doesn't mean we're not thankful it just means we don't want to get satisfied and stunt or put a lid on what God is really wanting to do in our lives individually or in the life of the church now this church was started on purpose and it was started with a purpose and look what the Lord has done and I know I'm late to the party you've already done this a hundred times but let's do it a hundred and one I think we ought to just clap our hands and thank God for what the Lord has done through you now regardless of what anyone has told you you are not just a sum total of all of your past mistakes and circumstances each of us can have the opportunity to choose the direction and destiny for our lives regardless of everything that's happened to you what has happened what people have done to you the Bible says what the enemy has meant for evil that God can take those that exact same thing that he can take those exact same ingredients and turn it into good in your life that's why you should make up your mind that you're never gonna let a devil a director a director or even a deacon convince you that the mess that you are in or the mess you have been in that God cannot take that and turn it into the greatest message that you've ever experienced in your life as a matter of fact our greatest miracles will will always morph out of our biggest mistakes and if we're not careful we'll just sit on the sidelines and suck our thumbs because we missed this opportunity or because we didn't attain more during that peak season and now we're just ex a number of years old and so the devil convinces us that I can't do anything so I just have to sit on the sidelines allow life to pass me by that is Allah we can still make decisions tonight that can awaken the destiny in our lives somebody shout destiny now throughout time the notion of destiny has intrigued the mind and captured the imagination and awaken the soul even if God has to disturb us he will disturb us into our destiny because he would rather us be where we are supposed to be and be uncomfortable than to be enjoying comfort at the wrong place I would rather you hobble and limp the rest of your life Jacob so you can realize that there's an Israel in you then for you to remain comfortable and walk normal and never tap into the Prince that I have buried inside of you and I wish someone would understand tonight that God has more for you than what you currently have and how it is right now in your life doesn't determine that it's not that's how it's going to be always in your life and just because you're in a bad season right now doesn't mean you're gonna always be in a bad season the devil is a liar somebody needs to wake up to the realization that God is not finished with you just yet and even though the devil is trying to destroy you you need to hear the words of this preacher no weapon formed against you shall prosper don't cheat dare make die in this situation God has got greater destiny for you than what you currently got a hold up if you believe that you ought to clap your hands and give Him praise and here's what I know about destiny it is always connected with dreams this began as a dream if you have no dreams then you will have no destiny so therefore your dreams will become the driving force or the fuel if you will for your destiny no dream no destiny how many of you have ever dreamed of being something as a kid man when I was a kid about six or seven years old there was a show that come on TV every day called chips California Highway Patrol john baker and poncherello and when i watch that show I'd start dreaming when I grow up I'm gonna be a motorcycle police officer and I'd go outside and I'd get on my bicycle and I'd run around that neighborhood and I would pretend to arrest drug dealers and break up drug homes only to find out later that wasn't a imagination and then somebody bought me a telescope one time and I started looking at the Stars and so then I was like I am going to be an astronaut I couldn't spell it but I wanted to be it that's what I wanted to be and then shuttles started blowing up and I was like you know I probably will do something else now other than that and I had heard that that preachers could sleep till lunchtime and only work a day or two a week and so I said AHA that's that's my destiny and when you wade through all the silly stuff like I'm gonna be a Jedi Knight or a billionaire or an astronaut then you get down to the realities of life and people are often below that if they were just married or had children or if they could just become a professional or achieve as extreme well then they could be happy but listen to me that's a misnomer that's a mistake and that's a misunderstanding happiness it's never accomplished by acquiring stuff we are bombarded daily with all manners of advertising trying to sell us or tell us what we need to be happy but I want you to hear me tonight and I'm gonna say a real slow it is only when destiny is being fulfilled that you can truly find happiness and it doesn't matter if that destiny is just driving a van for the church or if that destiny is changing a baby's diaper in the nursery or if that destiny is that you're gonna mow the grass around it does not matter what it is when you tap into your destiny then you're gonna find real happiness now the dictionary defines destiny as the events that will happen to a particular person or thing in the future everybody say future another definition for destiny is the hidden power believed to control future events everybody say future so this makes destiny something that is supposed to happen to us and for us but it's always in the future destiny always seems to be just a little out of reach you can see it but you got to stretch for it a little bit you got to get on your tippy-toes if you will a little bit if you're expecting destiny to come to you you will never find Destinee I'm not sure to name this Destiny's Child destiny is something you have to search for you have to work for you have to experience you have to chase after as the deer panteth after the water Brooks so Penta the soul after thee O Lord Abraham had to sojourn he had to leave where he was he had to look for a city whose builder and maker was God his destiny was not where God found him his destiny was connected to where God was taking him destiny is like the North Star it is a guiding light that pushes us forward it propels us to where we need to be now now follow me here and I think we're gonna tal this together a minute but but but you can live from a place of destiny but you cannot live in that place of destiny what do you mean by that well let me try to explain like this you cannot simply you cannot live in a dream you got to wake up and do something about what you've been dreaming about dreams is not the problem the doing is the problem anybody can dream but somebody's gonna have to get up and make the dream become destiny when Joseph dreamed his dream I am certain that he thought that dream was going to come to pass much sooner than it did or he probably would have never told anybody about it but he was excited about it and he began to tell his brothers and he didn't know how it was going to work out he didn't but he just he thought everybody was gonna be happy about his dream and so he told his brothers and they hated him and their anger kindled even more and and their hatred and their anger what looks like was trying to derail the situation God was using that to put him on the path to run headlong into his god-given destiny and the reason why some of us have not tapped into our destiny is because every time somebody does us wrong every time somebody lies on us every time somebody pushes us a little harder than we think they should we get angry we cussed them out we backslide because how dare them treat me the way their how dare you throw me in a pit don't you know who I am I have a dream from God you can't treat treat me like that I think it's funny how we all want to be servants of God until somebody treats us like one and we get mad every time something doesn't work out and the whole time God is trying to say I wish you I'm just gonna act like I'm at home I wish you'd quit acting like an idiot I'm trying to get you exactly to where you need to be but you keep fighting you keep going again you thought I was gonna bring you in this away but I've decided to bring you in this away and one of the issues that I see hitting Pentecost as we backslide too easily we give up every time it doesn't go the way we think it ought to go and we quit on God way too easy but listen let me remind you we're gonna reap if we faint not the only reason you're in this building tonight is because somebody made up their mind I'm not gonna quit I'm not gonna give up I'm not gonna give in I'm not gonna throw in the towel just because it's bad right now doesn't mean that I'm not where I'm supposed to be just because I'm losing a few folks right now doesn't mean that I'm not in the season where God wants the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away but bless it we're gonna help somebody tonight so I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the journey to your destiny will include trials tribulations troubles there will be valleys issues extremely dark times along the way it happened that way for Joseph it will happen that way for us everything that my family has been through the good the bad the ugly the stuff were not ashamed to talk about the stuff we never want to discuss God has allowed it to happen to get us prepared for the destiny that he has for us in this season and everything that the Carpenters have been through the good the bad and the ugly God has allowed it to happen to get them prepared for the destiny that he has for this church during this season somebody shout destiny you see I feel like Esther chapter 4 verse 14 can be fulfilled in this church at this time the Bible says in who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this I don't what I don't want to mess with anybody but I don't want to definitely say anything that brother carpenter can get him Wednesday night and fix it not just if he does don't tell me and we'll all be okay but but God didn't just give you this for you this you have been brought to the kingdom for such a time as this now let me remind you something about destiny it's always in the future it never happens overnight trees take years to grow I bought some property to build a house on I've got a couple of old live oak trees on there that's probably uh-huh and fifty years old they didn't get that big over - mushrooms pop up overnight but trees it takes a little while destiny doesn't just happen when God gives you a dream that doesn't mean you're tapping into a tomorrow if we were shown the fullness of our destiny at the beginning of our journey it would seem unimaginable unachievable and unbelievable that's why we're given just little glimpses of it little snapshots Paul said for now we see through a glass darkly we've all had those glimpses those brief flashes or impressions that this is how it could be you see God created us to be creatures of destiny he put it in our DNA and he is a big God and he has big plans for our lives and he has big plans for this church and I personally think it's a disgrace to a big God when we are content comfortable and complacent with small dreams and small ideas and small visions that's why I am thankful for this church and for what God is doing in Miravalle because it proves that we can accomplish great things for God so I walk to this pulpit tonight not to preach to your pass not to even preach to your present but I've come to preach to your future and tell you keep dreaming keep preaching and keep believing keep trusting God for bigger and better things now unto Him who is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we can ask or think our text said I know the thoughts I think towards you to give you a future somebody shout destiny God has a great destiny for this church but here's where a lot of people mess up especially in the Pentecostal faith because too often we confuse destiny with destination see a destination is the attainment of a goal along the path like oK we've accomplished that good destinations are places through which to progress but not to remain - many of us have stopped short in our journey we've settled at the wrong address destiny on the other hand is a bigger future call and pull on our lives and people can be trapped in disillusionment when they arrive at what they've always heard was their destiny only to realize that it's really just one of the many destinations along the path now follow me destiny is always in the future so if you can reach it or you attain it it's no longer destiny it's now destination you can say we're here this is where we were trying to get before you moved into the old building the old building was your destiny but once you possessed it it now became a destination and you could have just stayed there you wouldn't have grown any more but you could have stayed there you people on top of people if the fire marshal ever walked into that building all of y'all would have went to jail first time I ever preached there first time I ever really talked to brother carpenter we're standing there you know when the choir was all on top of one another and we I was in the choir and I don't even sing but I was on the I was in the choir that's why I've always loved coming here y'all let me get in the choir now you got this big old wall you wouldn't even let me get near it tonight but back in the day you'd let me sing in the choir and I leaned over to brother carpenter and I said man every once in a while the Lord uses me and the gifts and I've seen this look come on his face like oh Lord what's he about to say how many people were ever where I said you probably gonna want to get a bigger building and so that building became a destination this became destiny but now we're here what do we do now do we allow the destiny of yesterday to just become a destination of today there is a danger of confusing destiny with destination so we have a decision to make do we stop and say this is all that God can do here or do we look back into the heels from whence cometh our help and allow God to give us another destiny and another dream that is just somehow a little out of our reach I'm not here trying to scare you and put you in another building program but I'm also here to tell you do not let this destination be the end of what God is wanting to do in your life look and see okay here's something else we can do and you start reaching for it as a bad friend let me say like this let this become the period at the end of the sentence let this become an exclamation point let this become like seven exclamation but just go crazy on the explanation let this be the end of a sentence but let it not be the end of a chapter let it not be the end of the book all right God we thank you for every miracle that you gave us to get us here but now we're not satisfied show us another trip show us another opportunity show us something else in our clap your hands and give the Lord a shout of praise you see the burning bush was not Moses his destiny it was a destination the stick turning into a snake not his destiny hand turning to leprosy not his destiny those were just checkpoints along the way to let him know you're on the right Road we cannot confuse destiny with just a destination Moses his destiny was to deliver millions of people from bondage and from slavery and once he did that his destiny now became now got to get him in the Promised Land you see it's always in the future and too often we get mesmerized by the miraculous we get sidetracked by the supernatural we get satisfied with the sensational and when we do this we build monuments to moments instead of continuing to move forward into the destiny that God has given us so I just want to stand here and echo every other my colleagues in the aoj see that I am now a part of or at least will be when there's a meeting or something like that and I'll just leave it like that to make everybody watching online really wonder what's going on here I live for stuff like that so I just stand with every other preacher that's been here and I thank God for everything that's happened in the past but those are moments and destinations that just proves that we are on the right Road and now that we finally got our hands a hold of this it just becomes a destination that continues to prove that we are on the right Road but now we're gonna keep on pursuing and we're gonna keep on pushing and we're gonna keep on praying and we're gonna keep on prophesy and we're gonna keep on praising and if we do that I promise you you'll keep possessing stuff that you didn't think you would ever I'm begging you don't become mesmerized with the miracles of yesterday God's got plenty more in the future don't be satisfied with what happened five years ago God's still got more in the future so we make monuments out of moments thinking that the destination is our destiny and ah we're here and so we sell ourselves short over and over Matthew chapter 17 verse 1 after six days Jesus taketh Peter James and John his brother and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart I think it's funny when they were climbing up the mountain before there was a revelation before there was Transfiguration before there was a revealing of who he was that all they could say about the mountain is well that's a high mountain but when Peter starts telling this other story in his book this is how he refers to the mountain now it's not a high mountain anymore he calls it a holy mountain because the things that are Huck tough right now in rough right now that you're going through God's gonna use those exact same thing to be the holy benchmarks in your life he said I went up into a high mountain and was transfigured before them and his face did shine as the Sun and his raiment was white as the light behold there appeared in them Moses and Elijah talking with them then answer Peter now this I know Peter was a Pentecostal preacher because Peter said Lord it's good for us to be here and let's get in the building program I tell you what let's let's build three Tabernacles one for thee and one for Moses one for life well you could just tell Peters a Pentecostal preacher from day one he would have been satisfied to dwell on the mountain and build a tabernacle a fellowship hall in a youth center however that destiny of having the revelation once he attained it became a destination so his destiny was not to remain on that mountain in those three buildings his destiny wasn't up Aroon his destiny was to preach on the day of Pentecost his destiny was to pull the trigger on salvation and to many of us are dwelling on the mountaintop in the presence of God when RIA in the reality God's got a greater destiny for us than a little manifestation on the mountaintop now listen there are these checkpoints along the way that will let you know I am on the right path they serve as indicators I know everybody's laughing I'm a little camera here but we went to a church dedication in Florida not long ago and little o elderly retired pastor's wife from Louisiana was there and I just love elderly almost said old but I don't want some disrespect I just love elderly preachers I just look I especially love them when they refuse to step into the 21st century that's why I'm following brother our and so this is a little pastor's wife she walked to the front of the church in front of everybody and I started chuckling because I thought that was the cutest thing in the whole word she just got right up on that platform lady he's going to take that camera down to the Walmarts that's how his country people say it and my mind went to when I was in school and they were teaching us how to develop film now all you young people are looking at me like I've just fallen off my rocker you don't even know what this is this is a camera inside this camera there's a thing called a roll of film people looked at me tonight laughing at me when I'm taking pictures he said he want to get a picture of the family he was so serious I wanted to walk up here with that but he was just too sick I pulled it out and I was like I better put the man's crying you don't mess with a man when he cries you know just don't let the cry out and then we get that later and so everybody's like I didn't you know you can buy those things anymore because you see when you take this film out to develop it it's got to go into what was called a dark room and in the dark room there's several little bins of chemicals that you would place the negative in each solution and listen to young people help you out and you would have to keep the negative in that solution for a certain amount of time if we left it in too long it would be overexposed if you took it out too soon it would be underdeveloped but if you kept it just right you were able to develop the image to accurately reflect the original picture that was taken three weeks ago now in order to create a film negative the image when I press that button is superimposed onto a transparent piece of plastic as to not affect the image in any way this means that everything the final picture requires or the fulfillment of the destiny is already in case in this camera and I just captured it and now I'll just let it go through the process and if it goes through the process then I'll be able to experience the picture we don't understand that today because it's driving me crazy that I can't look at what I just took but back in the day you just had to wait on the Lord you knew there was something in the future you were at the prayer meeting when you snapped the camera they heard you turn the little knob but there's no picture yet there's nothing that's changed yet but every darkroom that you've been through every chemical that God has put you in every situation that you've been through will let us stay right here will now move it over here it has got this is what was put on the film 15 years ago in the prayer meeting and God says now I'm gonna let every situation that you go through allow it to be the part that makes the picture let me see if I can explain like this when Caitlin was born she's 21 now she's got some hairy legged friend the prey and he goes on to meet the Lord soon when Caitlyn was born she had all the DNA she needed to be who she is today not one time did we ever run down to the store and pick up more DNA now one time did we go to the five-and-dime and see if we could catch some DNA on sale when she was born everything was already put inside of her to make her who she needed to be today and when you're born again you have all the spiritual DNA in you when you receive the Holy Ghost get baptized in Jesus name you have all the spiritual DNA in you to be a godly holy overcoming perfect you don't have to run down to another Church you don't have to run down to another pastor you don't have to run down to another gospel you don't have to run down to another Jesus and try to pick up some other DNA the devil is a lot when you're born again you've got everything you need to tap into the destiny that God has for you when the carpenters came here over 30 years ago this was in their DNA I know this sounds very antiquated I look really weird with this it sounds like antiquated preaching because in our modern era digital photography is the mainstay we take a picture we look at it with old no devil chin Devil chin devil chin then we get angles like this - hi devil chins and we get it and we click the button and poof and the images are right there right now no waiting no chemicals no dark rooms no negatives in our microwave society we don't want to wait for anything we don't we don't want to have to allow patients to have it's perfect work we don't want to go through any dark rooms or go through any painstaking experiences this culture of instant gratification is apparent in so many areas the weight loss industry is an example of this constantly trying to sell you the latest gadget guaranteed to help you lose all the weight you want simply by using it five minutes a day while watching TV and eating a ding dong you can lose people are drawn to that there's only one reason why they're still in business is because we buy it we're drawn to it because it's quick it's easy you're not really required to do anything you don't even have to eat right we want it done we want it done now with little pain with a little struggle with a little effort but listen to me God is more into marinating than he is into microwaving and I know some of you are sitting there saying well it's taking us a long time to get here I'll come to beg to differ we you've got here exactly when God wanted you to get here but now you're here and what are we going to do just let this become our final destination are we gonna start reaching for something else are we gonna start believing God for something else they open having good church long before you had these fancy ceilings and loans where you had these beautiful lights and that drum cage that's bigger than our first house and these video game consoles on the floor only I don't even think any of this junk really works I think this is all for show I beckon the day people just strum guitars now you got to drive a car and hit buttons and the brakes I don't get all that stuff I'm a day what Oh Andy Ferguson and Zac they pretty good on that stuff I'm not I'm not coordinated enough for all this stuff came he used to come to your church he'll let me sing in the choir but you don't even do that anymore Trump ever saw that wall he'd want hey there's nothing wrong with all this is beautiful we're thank God for that but I'm just gonna medal for a minute all right Paul said we would be foolish to think that what was birthed in the spirit can now be sustained in the flesh and this is where I'm afraid we are not not we as in this church we as an apostolic movement we are so talented we have great facilities we have everything that we need and if we're not careful we'll depend more on it than we do on him if some churches have one computer shut down they wouldn't be able to have Church I feel like my a OJC license are being revoked as I preach right now and probably my you pcs going to after I've ordained the bishop to be UPC thank God for this building but we must still pray thank God for this facility but we must steel fast thank God for all this technology but we must still depend on the moving of the Holy Ghost we want anointing not ability we won't character not charisma we won't integrity not innovation we've got to be careful that we don't turn the destiny into a destination and then we maintain it by human means we cannot trade the anointing for acceptance from a world that God has called us out of so this world is not our destiny their approval is not our destiny their acceptance is not our destiny I do not need this world to validate my anointing my calling or my walk with God so I'm on just meadow for a few more minutes and we're gonna go home but I'm just gonna let you in on a little text message that I sent my daughter earlier this year because sometimes you know her being in Bible College daddy needs to preach to her a little bit and so I text her and I said I'm about to preach to you so you need to stop what you're doing you need to read this text and this is what I said I said it appears that having talent is dangerous and potentially deadly i watch the videos of so-and-so and I know that I know you know that I worry about so-and-so and of course you know exactly how I feel about so-and-so and you got to really be in the family to get the so-and-so will let you in for a donation if you want to know the so-and-so us for a financial donation to the ministry will let you know who that is and I you know how I feel about so-and-so and the list could go on and on every one of those people have extreme talent and I am certain was anointed at one time or another the world will confuse anointing with talent however they never have been or ever will be interchangeable at some point you can out your anointing that's just the way I talk I'm sorry but you can out your anointing seeking approval from others that we do not need to the point that all you have left is talent and talent by itself is dangerous and deceptive I say all that to say this Caitlyn you are talented but greater than that you are anointed I do not pray that God will give you more talent but I do pray that God will anoint you in a greater way Caitlyn you can never exchange the anointing simply for your ability the Bible says it's the anointing that breaks the yoke not talent as a matter of fact talent without anointing will break you it's dangerous it's deadly it's a fraud it's a sham and it's a scam I pray today that if your talent will ever stand in your way of getting to heaven that God will strip you of it because it's better to go to heaven without something than to go to hell with everything I am your biggest fan and I know as a music person you dabble in a lot of other religious singers but be very careful what God has given you is greater than Talent it's anointing never lose it never trade it for anything else God can anoint a donkey with no talent and make him sound like a man but talent without anointing can make a man sound like a donkey choose wisely I love you your dad all I wanted her to know is that her destiny is not connected to something in this world that her destiny is not connected to things of this world hear me when I tell you tonight that this world is not our destiny brother carpenter keep on preaching holiness keep on holding up high standard keep lifting up your voice don't be ashamed that the TV cameras are on you keep waving the banner we're following we're believing I know you've taken some cheap shots but keep standing because the world is not our destiny this is what God wants us to possess you ought to thank God that you still have a holiness preaching pastor you ought to thank God that you still have a standard raising pastor you ought to thank God that you've got a man of God that it grab that microphone and say come out from among them and be separate saith the Lord our destiny is not connected to this world love not well I'm just gonna I'm just gonna focus on the positive I'm just gonna focus on the positive positive ain't gonna develop your film you got to have some negative well I'm just I'm not gonna worry about my negative I'm not gonna worry about I am so thankful for everything that's happened to me in my wife I'm glad I'm where my wife's not ashamed of where she's come from I'm not ashamed of where I've come from now I don't want my daughter to live in that but I'm not ashamed of where we came from because God took all of those negatives and now it's connected it and got us with good people and when you take all the negatives and all the positive then you can do something you said well I don't want to focus on the negative okay I tell you what go to your card and I pop the hood and look at that battery and there's a positive and there's a negative and that car is not going crank we're just positive and it's not going crank with just the negative but if you want to turn that motor and if you want to get from where you are to where you're supposed to be then you take the positive and you take the negative and that's how you get your car and move it and the same is true with your life you've got to take the good and you got to take the bad you got to take the UPS and you got to take the death and the reason we're here celebrating tonight is because we've taken all the positive and we've taken all the negative and God says now that's a vehicle that I'm going to use to drive you to your destiny let's stand all over this place so it may not happen tonight but we just took a picture tonight it's already captured we're just waiting on it to get developed but in 15 years where are we if the Lord tarries are we just happy with this or do we believe that God has got something in you go look at the life of Joseph and every time he thought he was getting close he got pushed back darkrooms prisons unjust accusations but Joseph remained patient and faithful over time he began to rebuild his life he go through the prayer comes more negative here comes mortal eyes you have a destiny which means you're gonna have to suffer and go through disturbances along the way but the destiny is worth the disturbance your response to your distractions on the journey to your destiny will dictate how long it takes for God to develop the film that he's already put in your life sometimes you got to go under in order to go over sometimes you got to submit your dream and serve someone else in that season in order for your dream to one day come to fruition what would have happened if Joseph were to have given up at any point throughout his developmental process not only would his life have been lost but an entire nation of Israel would have been lost God would have raised somebody else up I get that but I don't want God to have to raise up another church he's already raised up this one I want him to take everything that we've been through and turn it into destiny and I know it sounds antiquated but David you're anointed you got it dripping off your head but you're not gonna go sit on a throne just yet you back out there and watch them sheep there's some stuff I'm gonna use to develop you but I've already put it in your DNA that there's destiny and when you kill that lion that's not your destiny and when you kill that bear just put that aside that's just a destination to let you know you're on the right Road oh and I'll even take it a step further David when you kill Goliath that's not your destiny either matter of fact cut his head off and go take it to Jerusalem because at that point Jerusalem was on it was controlled by the Jebusites it wasn't the City of David yet but David was just letting them know the Giants not my destiny it was but now once I got it it's just a destination now I'm not gonna stop till I come after the whole city and I'm not gonna sleep until this place is known as the City of David thank God for every battle you've conquered but when you conquered it it was no longer your destiny it was now your destination and you have to say all right God what do you have else for me do not be satisfied until everybody in this city knows what first half a solid church is all about this is beautiful this is beautiful this is worthy of a week-long celebration but this can't be the end we've got it now we've attained it it's paid for destiny has become destination so what do we do do we just settle down or do we say God what do you have in the future JTP you said it like this the church must always be future pulled and not past pushed we can't allow the past to push us we got to have the future to pull us if you're thankful for where God has brought you from but you're not satisfied with where you are I want you to get ready because God's got great destiny for you with your hands raised all over this place Lord this building is officially been dedicated we had that ceremony on Friday night but we end this week of celebration trying to allow your spirit to remind us let's not get too comfortable right here because God's not finished with this church yet there's a danger of getting destination and destiny confused I come tonight to end this week-long celebration just to tell you God is not finished with you and God is not finished with this church as they begin to sing if you're ready to reach for something in the future if you're ready to go ahead and grab a hold of something that's a little out of your reach I want you to step out of where you are I want you to come stand around this front thank you for every Valley thank you Lord for every dark room thank you Lord for developing but I'm believing you go take another picture tonight I may not see what it looks like until three years that I believe it
