God I come before you right now God I ask you to move in our midst right now I rebuke any apprehension Lord pray that you begin to walk into this room and break chain God let us be so sensitive to your presence that we don't want to walk away from want to ask you to do something I want you just begin to pray over your mind I would you touch my mind Lord are from any distractions Me From This Moment young person you're not too young to pray God for every distraction that has entered my mind this day I ask that you just remove it from me Lord God I ask you right now to touch my heart and my mind yeah come on let him walk in there let him walk in Walk In Here let him walk in here Jesus Jesus God purify our hearts Lord purify our minds Lord create in us a clean heart oh God God so we can worship you as one hand could you put your hands together and thank the Lord for what he's doing amen amen well don't you love the liberty and the presence of the Lord that you feel oh come on don't you really love the Liberty in the presence of the Lord for where the spirit of the Lord is there's liberty didn't this praise team and musicians do a wonderful job leading us into the presence of the Lord amen amen as you're seated turn to your neighbor and say you look nice and then say this I don't care what anybody says about you don't you love those backhanded compliments you just can't get a straight compliment nowadays amen

well section two now I was a section youth director for a few years about seven years and uh Brother Sam it is not an easy job sometimes throwing this together I called myself back then the sheep for Christ mule just yeah mu you know raise that money call those preachers I was a she for Christ salesman when they saw my number they ran the other way boy they knew why I was calling it just happened to be around shees for Christ time I tried to shift the conversation and make it like it was something else but they knew why I was calling wasn't no tricking those pastors have been pastoring for 48 years they knew weren't their first rodeo but I give honor to you uh to your um sectional youth director Brother Sam and sister Lauren hodm we are so appreciative of everything they're doing um Pastor Sloan thank you for this opportunity here at your church what a beautiful facility um this is my first time getting to come to this new facility I think brother the someone said this is your second one so far it's a joke it's a joke um but it is an honor to be here tonight and before I was I'm skipping all over the place before I was a a sectional youth director I was a youth pastor so one of my favorite settings was just to talk to uh Youth and Young adults and miracle and Victoria and uh navardo Su have heard a lot of ridiculousness of my teaching over the years um but they survived and they're still coming to church but s son give honor to you my my father couldn't make it tonight he's watching not him my mother and he's assisting supposedly we have a little child that has adopted a devil in her spirit and they call it the terrible TW I just call it the Demonic twos and so she is just a tear that just rips through a house immediately Mimi they they call her had a box of blocks for her and if you don't know this the blocks are not nearly as fun inside the box so the very moment that she walked into the house she took all 5,000 of those blocks and just dumped them out and started just started stacking them didn't say thank you didn't have any concern just did her thing she would have done that right here had we let her come so we're praying tonight that she'll get the gift of the Holy Ghost if but uh it is an honor to be here tonight I wish she could be here but she's not going to be give honor to my pastor for the HL Shepherd and allowing us to come and Minister

if you would turn in your Bibles with me we're going to go to John chapter 6 verse 1-9 John chap 6 verse 1-9 we're going to start here and then I'm going to move in and read the entire Book of Leviticus and then we're just going to go straight to revelation after that John chapter 6 verse number 1-9 I am reading from the ESV version um I'm not sure what they have on the screen verse number one after this Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee which is the Sea of tiberious and a large crowd was following him because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick Jesus went up on the mountain and there he sat down with his disciples now the Passover the Feast of the Jews was at hand lifting up his eyes then and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him Jesus said to Phillip where are we to buy bread so that that these people may eat he said this to test him the Bible says for he himself knew what he would do Philip answered him 200 penny worth of bread would not be enough now 200 penny worth was a pretty significant sum of money in that day some of the research I've done it was an estimated seven months wage for the average man and here he is turning to Jesus saying what are we going to do and Jesus already knowing the answer watches as his disciples says seven months of wages would not be enough to fill the crowd and has gathered around but one of his disciples Andrew Simon Peter's brother said to him there is a lad here who who has five barley Loaves and two fish but what are they for so many as you close your Bibles I'm going to preach on this subject for just a moment there is a lad there is a lad would you bow your heads with me Jesus God we're asking you to come into this moment yet again we know that you are already here but Lord I'm asking that there be hearts and Minds pricked in this moment that Lord as you walk through these aisles as you begin to touch hearts and Minds that they're willing and able to receive it Lord God touch us tonight Use Me Lord touch my lips of clay God let every word that's spoken be For Your Glory God we thank you and we praise you in Jesus name and the church said amen if you're going to preach with me would you say amen amen all right you may be seated

this may come as quite a surprise to you but looking at my chiseled jawline and physique you might be surprised to find out I'm not the greatest athlete that God ever created now growing up I was convinced I was convinced that I was the greatest athlete that God had ever made and I believed it deep down in my soul sister s i beli that if they would if the coach would just give me but a a chance that I could change his mind about me and um and I I I was also good at something else I I would go as as a kid I would go on what I called fishing Expeditions and the fishing Expeditions that I went on uh and I do this some with my wife and it's to no fruition you know no value to it really but it was fishing for compliment and I've got everything I've got B boats I've got rods and reels just made for fishing for compliment I'm ready trucks and Trail you know what I'm talking about just looking I've got the The Radars you know so I was probably in the seventh or the eighth grade Victoria and and I decided we're driving down the road we were on vacation I remember like it was yesterday it was so hurtful and cut cut deep and I asked my mother I said Mom now I'm now I was homeschooled let me let me paraphrase a little bit I was homed scho and I'm not going to judge you if you were homeschooled and you don't judge me because I was um but I said Mom H how good do you think I am at basketball and my mom is about the sweetest kindest person you can meet but she's unfortunately not a liar and Mom she she paused and I should have known right then and there she paused for far too long and she hopped up on the razor's edge of telling the truth and telling a lie and she said son you're good you're not great and uh it hurt and it hurt and I I I said just like LeBron said that he was going to take his talents to South Beach I said well I said instead of me taking my talents to basketball for the jet I'm going to switch from that and I'm going to go to football I thought I had the bill for football now let me remind you I'm a slow learner I'm not the sharpest bulb in the shed and so I said if it didn't work out in basketball and and let me remind you it was JV Basketball that I set the bench on okay it wasn't even Varsity I said if I didn't make it in basketball maybe football is my calling maybe stardom Waits just beyond that moment that that quarterback gets the ball and I can as a tight end run and catch a touchdown or a linebacker I can just lay somebody out I just had this vision of myself that I would be the greatest thing if I could have but a chance on the field and so I did I went to Chattanooga Christian School the year before I got there they had won a grand total of one game I said boys when I step on the field next year that's all going to change so it was 10th grade I I missed the ninth grade year homeschooling and I they enrolled me in my 10th grade year I went in and uh in that spring practice it was the first practice I had never put on a set of pads I had never worn a a helmet before as God is my witness I still have circulation issues in my brain from how tight that first helmet was I could not fit it on and that that uh that coach came by I said coach this is a little tight and he just bam popped it on the top of my head he said he said it's good to go now I couldn't see so I ran out there feel I was just looking for that that opportunity I run out there and it's the it's the first that a better one it's a good one it was the first snap I had ever ran and the coach gave Specific Instructions he said whatever you do don't stop until the whistle blows I said coach I got got you now here's the problem I had no idea what he meant by don't stop until the whistle knows all I know is that my agility and my speed was going to impress him so much there's nothing I could have done wrong so he snaps the ball the quarterback I was playing offensive tackle um which should have been more of a guarding position for the quarterback again I didn't know what I was doing I was expecting the athleticism to shine through and so the quarterback snaps the ball and I take off and I was lightning fast I was like a white Michael Vic I was moving so quick through all the Defenders just running and I thought the play had stopped and I forgot that little piece of advice that coach gave me don't stop until the whistle blow well let me tell you about Seth game Seth gains is about 350 lbs and he has legs that I call tree trunks and when this dude would squat both ends of the bar would just about touch the ground he was muscle from head to toe brother jet as God as my witness I think the play is done and Seth gains at full Sprint and that dude could Sprint for that size he laid me out as God is my witness one moment I was playing football and the next moment I was at the altar telling Caitlyn I do 10 years of my life just disappeared right in front of my eyes when I came up off the ground every bit of athleticism I thought I had was laid out on the field right beside me I said I immediately became a prayer Warrior I said Lord I will never again sin if you'll just get me out of this this moment I said Lord if you'll split the Eastern sky right now and take me home and not let me have to play another snap I'll do it because it's funny how a lot of us think that we want to pay the price but very few of us really want to step in from the sidelines and experience the cost it takes to be successful at something a lot of times we want somebody else that will take the punishment for greatness we want somebody else that they'll tell the stories about when the time comes about everything that they gave we may want the credits but we don't want the sacrifice we're willing for somebody else to give but when it's our time to step onto the field we blend into the crowd we see today as I lay the groundwork and I need you to hang in the Rhythm if you fall asleep on me it's going to embarrass everybody and I'll call you out I'm the Lord has ordained me the person that whenever somebody prays I'll watch and if somebody has their eyes open I tell on immediately soon as the prayer is open he had his eyes open if you fall asleep I'll tell on you God is my witness

we look at our miracle today of the Five Loaves and two fishes that there was a lad that was willing to give something that he had brought that day it's told in four separate accounts in Matthew mark Luke and John from Five Loaves and two fishes Jesus fed a multitude of at least 5,000 men but there was an estimated 15 to 20,000 people including women and children that were fed by this small portion of a young man that was willing to give something that was hid it's chiseled into a lot of our brains if you grew up in Sunday school you know the story of the fin Loaves and two fish it's a part of our DNA as the church we can just recite it in our sleep and I realized that the value of the miracle but allow me to maybe expand on what I believe the Lord had done in that moment God is quite the chess player his very words he hung the moon and the stars everything's in perfect symmetry it's perfectly separated from each other just a few inches closer we would burn up to the Sun a little further away we would freeze to death and he's got the Earth on its axis spinning just at the right speed we don't fling off into space and he's got gravity holding us down and blood coursing through our veins carrying oxygen to the most valuable parts of our body and our hearts pumping that blood down and up he's an intentional god with purpose and with a plan Indescribable he's he's he's uncontainable a god that is above all we could ask or think in a world of ever advancing scientific discovery the awesomeness of God becomes more evident every day everything God does has an intelligence about it an intentional purpose about it that all points back to bringing him glory so don't think for a second that when Jesus God manifest In the Flesh don't think for a second that he had lost his way when he asks Phillip where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat that very next scripture he answers his own question and he says that he already knew what he had planned for that moment you see this is where it gets interesting allow me to lay the groundwork we look at mark 6: number seven we see that Jesus is about to send the disciples out on a mission two by two and he called unto them the twel and began to send them forth two by two and gave them power over unclean spirits and commanded them that they should take nothing for their Journey so they're about to embark on a mission for God and he says you should take nothing for your journey he gets specific John he says I don't want you to take any food don't take any bread don't take any money don't take a script it calls I didn't know what that was a script he saids I don't want you to take a food bread I don't want to take any money and a script is like a bag that they would use to carry food or money he said I don't I want you to take anything with you I don't even want you to take a bag that you can carry food and money now remember that Jesus is all knowing and he sends these 12 disciples on this Mission and he gave them power over unclean spirits he gave them power to heal the sick he gave them the authority to preach the gospel but he was very clear in both Mark 6 and Luke 9 take nothing for your journey I'm going to make this clear no money no food no coats no bread matter of fact I don't even want you to bring something that'll carry anything that has to do with food or anything that has to do with carrying bread or money that you can buy it with I don't want you to bring anything that might tempt you to carry something with you why because I'm setting up for a moment take nothing now I like food I like money because it buys me food if he sent me on this Mission the two things I would want to take is money and food and then he says now go be about your father's business off the disciples go performing miracles casting out demons Healing The Sick preaching the gospel doing everything they can to preach and to survive from house to house they went by faith believing that their next meal would be waiting for them hoping for something to eat because they had carried with them nothing finally after all of their travels and miracles and preaching if you've ever done Ministry or any form of that you know it's very weary some sometimes it becomes heavy theyve done all this they come back to Jesus and they're tired and they're hungry worn out and drained and Jesus acknowledges their state of weariness hang in there with me I'm going somewhere in Mark 6:31 he says Come Away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest for a while for many were coming and going and they had no leisure even to eat so what has he sent them away with nothing when they come back the hustle and bustle is so great they have no nourishment to feed themselves nor is there any access to food where they're at and he says because of this why don't we go away and rest a while let's go find a place where there's a few less people involved in what's going on let's go find a place where we can rest for just a moment now Jesus and the weary disciples says they depart on a boat they set sail for peace and quiet looking for a break from their arduous Mission but not all all wishes come true the Bible tells us that the people saw them and recognized Jesus The Miracle Worker instead of letting them go to a place alone and rest the Bible says that they chased after Jesus and the disciples on foot crowds began to gather around as Jesus and the disciples departed that boat the crowd was growing the multitude was multiplying Jesus saw them and knew that they were coming for him he was not angry he was not mad he did not turn them away or tell them to go home he did not rebuke them he did not push them away instead of sending them away he began to teach to them he began to heal them and to Lov them he was just being God he loved each one as much as the next and and all this time they're woing into these moments is I believe God orchestrating more than just the miracle that we recognize Jesus has been teaching for some time now and he has yet to land the plane and I'm sure he's about the best teacher you could have but I have no doubt that as the disciples approached him and said uh master we're getting a little hungry while he's teaching they uh that they approach him and they they say Lord we we got to do something all of these people are here and everyone is hungry and not many have brought food in this impromptu moment the Bible tells us that as they came to Jesus they asked if they could send them away so they could go find food and return now maybe all the Bible scholars in the room could have noticed this but it's something that jumped out to me that the same Jesus in Mark 6 and8 who said take nothing for your journey no money no food no bag to carry money or food that same Jesus in Mark 6:31 who says Come Away With Me Because you've had no time to find food or no money to go buy food and no ability to access it that same Jesus that knows everything the same one that knows the beginning from the end that is the Alpha and the Omega that same Jesus who 29 verses before said I don't want you to take anything he looks at them with all the answers that in the world that he has he looks at them and says where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat he asks a question he already knows an answer to that on their person they have nothing nothing to offer be crumbs in the bottom of their pockets it would be pennies they picked up along the way even seven months wages couldn't feed the people that were there and here is God looking at them saying what are we going to do you already knew the answer because I believe that he had intentionally orchestrated and created this moment young person hear me tonight the the multiplication of the Five Loaves and the two fishes is one of the greatest Miracles that God ever gave it is one of the greatest Miracles I believe in the Bible but I submit to you that Jesus knew that had the disciples shown up that day with food in their pockets and money on their side that they would have given what they had instead 20 plus verses before God removed their ability to offer anything creating a situation where someone from the crowd would have to step out and give what little bit they had can I tell you the beauty of this story is that in God's all knowing power realizing that if the disciples had it that they would give it they had already been willing and and given everything they had willing to sell everything they had had they were already willing to do that and God knew that had the opportunity presented itself and he said who are we going to feed they would have took out what they had in their pockets and said you're the King of Kings and the Lord of lords you're the one that can do Miracles why because I've seen you do it before I've seen you do the miraculous I know that you can do great things they had all seen it but what God was was waiting for in that moment was for someone in the crowd to step up with what they had brought that day brother son how many times have you bought and sold everything that you have five times I believe God already knows to some extent what your level of giving is how many pastors have cried and bled and worked over a call of God in their life God already knows their measure of giving and I believe that for many that right at the moment that the ministry and the people of God that have gone before us have reached the end of what they can physically give that God has orchestrated that moment so a young person just like you and a young person just like you can step up and say I don't have much I've Got Five Loaves and two fishes so brother s right at the end of everything you can give you can step into a moment with a young man's hand in your hand and say there is a lad can I tell you I'm I'm not a long-winded preacher on purpose I'm not trying to fly through this I assure you but I try to function within the attention span that I'm getting it feels like sometimes that you don't have much to offer you know your four chords and no more your voice cracks a little bit when you sing but can I tell you that the generation before us has proven the willingness to give everything but Miracle at some point at some point the Next Generation from the crowd even though it comes at a great cost and even though it's all that you brought for that day you have to step out from the crowd and say I don't have much but what I have I'm going to give it to you Lord I've seen my pastor labor for years I've seen him toil the ground but Lord now it's my turn to step out from the crowd and say I may just have fun Loaves and two fishes but he has left everything so what is it for me to give something

you think you don't have purpose you think you don't have value because of your age do you know where the end of your pastor's arm reaches is right where yours begins no one can connect to your school like you can nobody nobody can create a p7 club and walk in and love people in your sphere love people in your world because right when there's nothing else that your pastor can give right when he's reached the very extension of what his arm can reach out to there is someone from the crowd I'll get what I have I'll give what I have and here's the thing the enemy will try to tell you and minimize your calling and minimize your value and say that you've messed up too many times and You' failed and you're not good enough and you don't bring enough to the table there's not enough Talent there but that's the beauty of Faith because the multip ation of what God does can only happen when you step out in faith when you have faith enough to step from the crowd and say this little meager thing that I have I give to you God said that's perfect that's perfect cuz my disciples they don't have anything left right now I need someone else young person the time for you to settle on the sideline has come to an end I came to preach to the devil and to this generation coming up that there is a young lady and a young lad that from humble beginnings are going to present what they have to God and say I can't do much with it but if you'll just allow me to put it in your hands I know that you can what is Faith I I must say brother I'm I'm afraid that this standardized Christian version of Salvation has kind of watered down the idea of what faith is it's kind of become this culmination of if I just simply believe that everything is going to be fixed if I believe that this building is on fire and do nothing about it I don't really believe true Faith true belief requires action the only way the miracle happened for that boy that stepped out in the crowd was to mix Faith with action you've got to step out from the sideline it's time to emerge from the crowd say if you can use anything you can use me me Got Five Loaves and two fishes for the Sloan there is a lad in this room that feels a call of God on his life so strong and feels like he's failed too many times there is a young lady in this room that think that you've already made too many mistakes for God to love you but he's not looking for your perfection even if you can just bring yourself he says I can take what you give me and multiply it if you'll give me Rags I'll give you riches if you'll give me love I'll pour out a window of blessing if you will just take a step of Faith with action it's going to multiply there is a lad I have no doubt that there's a lad in this room the question is are you willing to give what you have to the Lord

stand with me some of you have been laying in your bed at night feeling so much condemnation for the things that you have repented over the enemy has come in and tried to attack your ministry and your calling you've written off your inabilities on on age ignoring that the call of God can look past your failures that the call of God can look past your shortcomings and it's calling you out to someone greatest today I ask you this with whatever you have are you willing to give it to the Lord because I believe brother hodm that God has orchestrated moments just like this to allow a person a young person to emerge from that sideline and say I know it's going to cost me something I know it's going to hurt a little bit but if I'm going to be great for the Lord I've got to come from this sideline step on to the field and give absolutely everything I have young person as I call you to this altar I'm looking for a young lady and a young lad that are weary of the enemy telling them that you'll never be enough and that you don't have enough for God to bless I'm looking for a young lady and a young lad to make their way to an altar and say it may be just a little bit but God whatever I have I give it unto you I'm looking right now for a young lady and a young lad that will step out and walk down to this Altar and say it doesn't seem like much God but whatever calling I have on my life uh I'm going to give it to you I'm looking for a young lady and for a young lad that realizes you may be imperfect but that there is a perfect God reaching for whatever you have to give to him would you come would you come I don't want you to come under condemnation I want you to come with your hands lifted and say Lord I give my life to you it might just be a little bit but Lord I give it to you it might not be much Lord but I give it to you come on it's a lot when God's in it it may not feel like much to you but I promise you it's a lot when the Lord steps on the scene would you give it to him I give myself away so you can use me I Give Myself Away Lord I know it don't feel like much but it's all I got I Give Myself Away God I don't have anything so I offer myself a Living Sacrifice I Give Myself Away come on somebody's realizing a calling on your life right now that you thought could never come to fruition but God's walking into your moment give myself away so you can use me I give myself away I give myself away come on pour your heart out to him I don't know how you're going to multiply it but I know you will he's orchestrated this moment for you right here here and right now he's orchestrated it for you right here and right now would you give him what you have for he's going to multiply your talents h come on there it is I give myself give myself to you my life is not my own to you I belong I give myself give myself to you my life is not my own to you I belong I give myself give myself to you

young people just a moment I didn't take a long time on purpose I wanted to do something I want to do something in this altar call I want all the ladies on one side let's say all the ladies on this right side over here and all the young men over here come around as close as you can to the altar young people as close as you can I wanted to hold your attention and then capture you in this moment for for just a second I was I was 18 or 19 years old before I ever did anything behind a pull pit this was not what I thought God was going to call me to I don't know what the full fruition of the ministry that God's called me to is going to look like but I know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a calling that God is leading me through and it is one that I began to ignore at your age and for years for years I participated in church but I never involved myself with God just stayed on the sidelines I blended in real good with the crowd but at some point in your life you have to make a decision to consecrate yourself from the world unto God and say I give everything I am everything I'm going to be Lord I give it to you so here's what I'm going to ask you to do for some of you I'm going to ask you to revisit some consecrations that you've already made to God for others of you that may be the first time but it's going to go something like this God everything I am everything I'll be I give it to you and when you begin to say that even if you repeat it I want there to be something that rises in your Consciousness that says the nature of who I am is for the glory of God and even if all I have to offer butod him is myself I give it to you as a Living Sacrifice holy and acceptable God says I'll take it when those disciples came up to Jesus and said oh we got 200 penny worth wouldn't pay for the food it would take to feed these people he said but there is a lad he has Five Loaves and two fishes I wonder by the song of some of the other disciples whispered in Jesus's ear that's not enough he said I'll take it it's too little he said that's all right I can I can multiply the little and I wonder if another disciple creeped up and said God this ain't going to feed 15,000 people but Jesus said if you'll just give me the clay and let me be the Potter if you'll just give me something to work with I can multiply it listen I'm not asking you to preach youth congress next year young person but I am asking you to take one step in the direction of God that says Lord everything I am I give it to you so right now with your hand on somebody else beside you we're going to start out first praying for ourselves and then we're going to pray for our brother and sister pray with me Lord everything I am everything I'm going to be God I consecrate myself in my life I give myself wholeheartedly to you I'm sorry for everything I've done wrong all the mistakes and sins that are seen and unseen but Lord with a pure heart a pure conscience and a pure mind I Surrender myself to you I Give Myself Away holy everything that I am every call that you have on my life Lord is going to come to fruition if I can just submit myself to you Lord come on young person there you go adults you pray under the unction of the Holy Ghost let your voices out yeah there it is Lord sweep through this place right now come on pray over your life God I know there's a calling speaking under the authority of the Holy Ghost I know there's a purpose and a plan God I know there's a plan you have for my life but if you're just giv what you got come on young person there it is come on surrender wholeheartedly now for that hand that you hold or that shoulder that you touch I want you to begin to pray for them right now God touch my brother you're called young person you're called there was no mistake making when God saw you in your mother's womb there was no mistake making there you go pray pray pray pray I give you all of me I give you all of me King Jesus my Savior forever I give you all of me I give you all of me pray over your future pray over God's plan say Lord I Surrender there is a lad there's a lad there's a young lady that's going to give everything they've got you're not too young to give everything you're not too insignificant
