let me say today it has been our honor to be here these sundays in the month of may amen it's been an honor you've made this process and these services so easy worship in the lord thank you for the worshipers and the musicians and singers for leading us into the presence of god sunday after sunday and service after service we're thankful for that pastor and wife brothers we love you guys we go back to the teenage years and i i don't have enough finger and toes to do all that counting but i love these people love this church and all the things that i hear and see that i'm here the wednesday night service you've got to know that that's important that god is preparing this church for what's to come that's what you're doing that's what's taking place as an evangelist trying to find them you know when you've you've preached since i've preached since 81 you know when you've preached that long you have a lot of things you could preach but that's not what we're looking for we look for the mind of god i'll give you an example i was going to preach a pastor called me to come preach a sunday night service for him recently and god spoke a scripture into my heart and i thought god that is not a sunday night message that's not evangelistic and i tried to do some other things and the lord kept landing me back there on that particular and i'm like lord this is sunday night high church evangelistic he said preach and i went and preached that message that the lord laid on my heart and talked to the pastor and his wife afterwards and he said as we were getting ready to leave he said brother hewling he said i really could not have text you or emailed you what to preach any more plain than what this church needed and as when i got in the vehicle and headed home my wife and i was talking about it and you know as an evangelist there's a lot expected when you go to churches but it was then that i realized the magnitude of the field of the evangelist whatever that would be praying people through restoration whatever it is it's a it's a big deal there are those that have different callings than that and that pastor looked at me and he'd been pastoring that particular church for over 20 years and he just said to me he said don't ever question what god asked you to do now you people have been easy to preach to here and we thank god for that let me just just be seated and i'm going to get to the word of god here and sister healing you're not going to get out of this you've been here four sundays and so if i got to hold this mic and say something you do so uh she's what makes all this happen she makes me pray better pray more pray harder uh and all that but i love my wife and i've been so glad since we started traveling last september there's only just been a few services that she's not been able to be with me and when she's not there it's tragic and uh and uh but thank god that she's been able to be here we love you guys sister eulin come here you're gonna she's trying to get out of this but uh we have been so honored as my husband has already said to be here this you guys are a great church you have been a blessing to us i feel like family and thank you brother and sister shalom for being so good to us and being such good friends and thank you for allowing us to come we pray for you there's no excuse why you guys can't grow the ministry here the music here i mean what else could you ask for except more souls so thank you and we're praying for you and we love amen y'all god praise god and i can tag into that deal and just say as i said earlier uh the robinson family is included in that too we go way back with to our teenage years and i i they say that what happens in vegas you know stays in vegas not anymore it goes on facebook but with all that being said there's lots of things stories that we could damage people's egos with things we know from teenage years but thank god you know what i love that that god has decided to use us and i'm glad i'm still here glad i'm still here amen praise god let's stand together psalm 69 and i'm i know today that i'm standing between you and hot dogs and hamburgers and corn hole and and all that good stuff and uh but i i do feel without a doubt that god has spoke some things into my spirit today and i believe that each one of us can leave here absolutely changed every one of us if we so choose to if we so choose to and i don't know about you but i i want to be different i want to be changed and then as first lady sisters alone was talking in prayer about repentance if you don't think that repentance is important you need to go visit the book of jonah that one message changed the future of that town and that city just one just one everyone say one message and that message was that of just repent just repent so don't take for granted not once encounter with god that you have amen so psalm 68 and then we're going to go to psalm 103. amen we love this church we're expecting the lord to just speak to us today each one of us here open your hearts and your minds and receive what the lord has psalm 68 will begin at verse number 19. the psalmist said this he said bless the lord bless the lord who daily loadeth us with benefits everyone say daily then say loadeth yeah that's that's it right there even the god of our salvation salah psalm 103 verse 1 another psalm here said bless the lord o my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name bless the lord o my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name bless the lord o my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgiveth all of thine iniquities who healeth all thy diseases who redeemeth thy life from destruction who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies who satisfyeth thy mouth with good things so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles the lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed everyone say benefits who daily loadeth us with benefits and then the psalmist said bless the lord o my soul and forget not everyone say forget not say that with some authority forget not all his benefits i want to preach for a while this morning on the benefits of living in the father's house i want you to lift your voices in your hands ask the lord to help us today thank you jesus right now mighty god thank you lord jesus for the word of god today mighty god hallelujah thank you jesus in the name of jesus come on church let's magnify the lord together hallelujah we agree right now lord we agree right now mighty we do agree together right now mighty god in the name of jesus praise god you may be seated in jesus name i do want us to keep in mind the benefits and i think it would be very important for us this morning to begin to examine the scriptures and look at the benefits that you and i really do have in living for god if you want to really make a comparison maybe you have a job that you have good benefits at and maybe you have one that's not so good but if you're a full-time employer most of the time you have some benefits and you have some things and and a lot of times you know working there we get so caught up with just our job that sometimes we forget the benefits that we have in health care and and and maybe vacation days and personal days and other things that may come to us in that particular job that we have and i'm reminded today even in my home and in our home when we had our boys there and they were growing up with us the benefits that those boys had of living there in the father's house i think we need to examine that today and just kind of look at that it's amazing you know it's funny and and it's okay for you to laugh my boys when they live there in our home they really never did come to me and say dad or mom do you mind if i have a glass of milk they just never did that i would watch them at times as they would walk in there and open the refrigerator and get the milk and and pour it in the glass some did i seen jordan one time just open the cap and just turn it up and i'm thinking dude we all got to drink after you now that may not be too good a thing and well he said well there'll be milk there when i come back i guess that was his thinking but i never seen them go to the cupboard you know and ask if they could have fruit loops or or frosty flakes or captain crunch they just they just took advantage of being in the father's house they just assumed that everything there was theirs and you know what it was theirs it was theirs to have and it was theirs to enjoy it and i really kind of wondered today in the presence of god and in the house of god if we truly today understand the benefits that we have in fact a matter the scripture here the psalmist said he said bless the lord he said oh bless the lord oh my soul and forget not all his benefits who forgiveth all thine iniquities one of the benefits that we can look at here is that he forgives all our iniquities everyone say all say all means all i don't have to get bogged down in that but we just know that that's a benefit another one is referenced there who healeth all thy diseases i don't care what diseases come on the scene in the future the things that we've faced in the past cdc can come up with all kinds of things that we probably should do but the bottom line is jesus can heal all of our diseases he can do that it goes on here the psalmist said who redeemeth thy life from destruction who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies think about that benefit is he redeems us say he redeems us he brought us back he crowns our life with loving kindness and tender mercies there is a benefit that we have of just being in the father's house you know when you raise children as we have and those in this room that has that being a parent is challenging all the parents said amen i remember one time if you can believe this our two boys was raising cane we was driving down the road when i'm in the car i don't like i don't like noise i don't like stuff and i mean man they were they was having a fit i mean just getting me all toward to pieces and finally i just i didn't have enough i said look guys i'm fixing to whip you i said you got two choices i said it's either a whipping or tupelo what i told him now jordan looked at his brother what are you choosing because he was going to do he was going to follow the path of his brother but as a parent that would fall our cases and to to make decisions but but it's amazing with those children they they they they felt the safety of being in the father's house even though you know dad mom you know you know we're not called to be the popular person we're called to raise them to lead them to guide them but the benefits that are there you know they know they're there's and i feel like preaching right protection in the house they didn't have to worry about an enemy coming in and taking over there was a there was provision in the house anybody hearing me right now is anybody glad that he is our jehovah jairo he is our provider and that we don't have to worry about because that's a benefit of being here it's a benefit of being here but i wonder today in this room you know if we truly truly understand the benefits that we have and that are ours typically the answer would be without hesitation in this room most of us would very quickly say yes i understand but i wonder because the lord has let me see things in my personal life through the years and living for god that i really didn't understand let me give you the account in the word of god and you can look at it later but it's the account there in the book of john when philip was standing there talking to jesus and jesus had been trying to explain to the disciples of who he was and and all of these things and finally through the course of that conversation philip says this to jesus now i'm going somewhere today just hold on philip is standing there beside jesus and he finally kind of you know maybe nudges him and he says jesus this is the question i want you to answer me today show us the father and it sufficeth us we'll be satisfied huh the response now this i know is that of the revelation of who jesus really is biblically because the answer we love to preach that when it comes to the godhead because jesus said to him philip he that hath seen me hath seen the father but i want you to pay close attention to something in that passage of scripture there in the book of john look look at what the word of god says to us in john chapter 14 and verse number nine jesus saith unto him being philip have i been so long time with you and yet hast thou not known me philip now my question's a cornerstone today maybe you and i can explain the godhead from top to bottom but my probe today goes maybe a little bit different to those of us that have been living for god for a long time notice that scripture philip have i been so long time with you that you don't really know who i am wonder how many in this room today of us that have lived for god a number of years and we know how to explain the godhead and we can do that but this is deeper than that this morning we're trying to understand the true benefits that we have of being in the father's house so many times we preach to the center and we're going we're doing that today we are seriously but those of us that's lived for god for years sit here and truly sometimes do not understand the access that we have into the things of god and jesus was so astonished at philip it's been so long time with you philip you don't know that maybe cornerstone that you've lived for god for a few years a number of years and you really don't know that notice what he goes on and says here to philip believest thou not that i am in the father the father in me the words that i speak unto you i speak not of myself but the father that dwelleth in me doeth the works believe me that i am in the father the father in me or else believe me for the very work's sake now notice how the lord jesus is building this up verily verily i say unto you he that believeth on me the works that i do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do i don't really have time to just get into that today but that should really turn us upside down to know that we can do greater things well are you here today let me just hit that and move on because typically the question would be what in the world can we do that's greater the dead was raised the blind would see the lame would walk everyone say greater did he not say it so i ask you there is something you and i can do that jesus never had the privilege of the opportunity of doing that gets your attention that of walking up to somebody and laying hands on them and seeing them filled with the holy ghost evidence speaking with other tongues that it hadn't happened yet that didn't happen until after the ascension so jesus said greater greater works than these shall he do can i tell you if you ever praise somebody through to the holy ghost and see them filled with the evidence of speaking with other tongues you literally got an opportunity to do something that jesus didn't even see happen in his ministry well you can think on that but look at this verse 13 of that same chapter and whatsoever you shall ask in my name do i see he's progressed here from really just the godhead really philip who am i who do you want to know the father but jesus is wanting philip to know whatsoever you shall ask in my name that will i do that the father may be glorified in the son if ye ask anything in my name that will i do do we really understand that today i'm i know i'm not running and jumping it's let me tell you what god's spoken to my spirit it's important that you get this that me just yell and jump and run and you leave here the same way huh i'm to take us to the account of luke chapter 15. this is where the lord wants me to be today we've heard this preached forever the account of the prodigal son and you know what happened in this particular setting the younger son went to his dad and he said divide give us the portion that follows to us and you know the dad gave it to him and he left home he left home and the bible said that he went and spent his substance with riotous living that prodigal son and let me just refer to him if you mind today as the younger son everyone say the younger son and something interesting happened here while the younger son was away from the father's house while he was in the pigpen he began to think about the father's house and think about the father's servants and to think about how good he had it when he was home and he got to thinking about that so much that he even made the statement he said you know what i'm just gonna i'm gonna get up from here and and i'm gonna go back home and and i'm just gonna tell my dad you know i'll just be glad to be one of your hired servants everyone say hired servants anybody know daddy pay is good think about what this younger son is doing he's going over all of this in the pigpen thinking about how good it is at home and how he missed all of that and sure enough he gets up bible said he arose he gets up out of that stupor there that he's in and he begins to make his way back to the father's house now i'm glad i don't have time to preach all this today but i'm glad that that what brought him back to the father's house was the image and the revelation and this is what we're preaching today the revelation of his father come on somebody the revelation it wasn't his brother and you're going to see here in a minute that his brother was as lost as he was yeah you're going to see that in a minute and he makes his way home and it's interesting i'll arise and go to my father and say to him i've sinned against heaven and before thee no worth more worthy to call thy son he arose and came verse 20 verse chapter 15 he was and the bible said but i threatened this to my wife this morning notice what it says but when he was yet a great way off that's good preaching right there now everyone say a great way off i'm not going to preach to anything new today i'm really not everyone say he saw him a great way off i'm going to say it again you got to get that everyone say he saw him a great way does anybody know what that means he was looking for him you're not going to see somebody that you're not looking for he was literally looking for his son to come back home whoa see you you got to get that because the adversary tells those that are away from home daddy's daddy's gonna be mad at you daddy's not gonna love you daddy's not gonna receive you but what you don't understand is is daddy is standing there looking and waiting for you you see i wanted my boys to remember the father's house i wasn't going to use this but i will but there was a time very critical in our family my younger son some things that happened some trouble he got into and he knew was calling my attention by people at school teachers at school my wife and i had to go out there and sit and listen i was very very very that's his father very upset i didn't say a word my wife can tell you the whole meeting never opened my mouth i was just stinking mad i could have crushed that fan hear me now hear me in the holy ghost being honest i get back home and i knew and my son knew we had to have the father and son come to meet him and i brought him home we brought him home he went straight to his room i said jordan you need to come in here and he comes around the corner and he's doing this clear as a bell clear isabel the lord spoke to me if he ever spoke to me he spoke to me clear as he ever did he said you be careful right now he said because you hold his life in your hand brother tim scared me he said you be really careful right now i knew what he was expecting me to do i knew that he was a member of that house and he knew the house rules but i said to him i said jordan you know what your dad's thinking today you know what i'm thinking today he's looking down at me stand up man he looked up at me that's what i did to him i said i love you that's what he needed to hear from the father not i know you did wrong not i know that you're a failure not i know that you're that you're just low no no no no they need to see the father running this the bible said the father ran to the younger son and he fell on his neck he had compassion on him and he kissed him can i tell you when you get to the father's house all you're gonna find is love and compassion and restoration yeah he arose and ran home to the came home to the father and he said to his dad verse 21 i've sinned against heaven and in thy sight i'm no more worthy to be called thy son everyone say about the father say about the father it's almost like he interrupted his little speech said to his servants bring forth the best robe put it on him put a ring on his hand shoes on his face feet and bring hither the fatted calf and kill it let us eat and be merry for this my son was dead everyone say this with me for this my son he was condemned to come back home as a servant but notice notice what the dad said the father he said you left here my son and you're coming back home as my son i want to know where you and i have received the bad image of guilt and condemnation huh you know and maybe it could be that sometimes the reason why some of the backsliders do not come to us is they know that when they find us all they're going to find is guilt and condemnation that we throw at them i don't know something and god's still trying to work on me about yesterday my wife went her way to cookfield to shop and i stayed in town and i went and had to had dinner there in town at a restaurant and as i walked in there there was a young guy that i used to work with sitting there at the table we struck up a conversation and i i i kind of think he's a backslider and so we talked and chatted and talked and chatted and cut up and carried on and we left i put my mom in the vehicle and his wife went and got in her vehicle and me and him was standing out front of this restaurant talking and i started talking about calvary and the love of jesus and his shed blood and i simply told him i said i have a pet peeve i don't say that jesus spilled his blood at calvary i don't say that because when you spill something you do it accidentally the bible said jesus shed and when i said that this boy i mean he started weeping he was he was about to speak in tongues stand it right there but we've got to give the people an image as the song we sing of the good good father everyone say he left my son you're gonna return home my son notice notice with me this is the revelatory part of this message today luke 15 25. now his elder son was in the field everyone say he was in the field where was the younger son at anybody remember say the pig pen i submit to you today there was no difference everyone say he was in the field notice what it says when he came drew near to the house he heard music dancing the elder brother was not in the pig pen he was in the field he never left home he was cl and while we were preaching here today he was completely clueless of the benefits he had of living there he called one of his servants and he asked what these things meant he said to him thy brothers come father killed the fatted calf because he received him safe and sound and verse 28 said and he was angry and wouldn't go in i'm so glad that the younger son didn't meet the brother first the true test of us how do we react oh i feel the holy ghost here i'm trying to hurry i really am how do we really react when we see our brother being forgiven and blessed that's a true test of who we really are well they don't deserve that neither do i neither do you we're talking about some you know what i like to call this the three attitudes on the farm yeah he was so angry father came out and then treated him you've ever been around here you know what i'm really weird i've had confrontations of people at work i threatened one day i told him i said when i come to work tomorrow i told my supervisor i said i'm coming to work tomorrow with a pacifier tied around my neck he said why i said because i'm going to give it to all these people that are whining because i don't want to hear it oh i said that out loud i'm in church by the way maybe sometime we need to bring a pacifier around here huh come on somebody it's okay that your brother is being blessed it's okay that your sister is being blessed it's okay it's this their father is my father my father is their father and then it comes out the elder brother said to his father lo these many years do i serve thee neither transgressed i at any time thy commandment yet thou never gave us me a kid here's the pentecostal answer well lord i've went three years and i ain't missed paying tithe i hadn't missed a sunday or a wednesday night but you didn't do that for me are we here today huh but notice the elder brother he said as soon as this everyone say thy son was come he disassociated himself from the family that was his brother he didn't even call him his brother this thy son now i don't know that all this stuff happened because this is the older brother making fun talking about the harlots and all that stuff i think he might have made a lot of that up don't know because that's the that's the elder brother saying that and it's amazing what we'll say that's not true about our brother everyone say the father now we're talking about oh the revelation i'll explain one god okay can you explain this the father said the father verse 31 he said unto his son thou art ever with me all that i have is thine did you get it he didn't transgress the law anytime he said i was the perfect poster child for perfection so before you go make fun of your brother just understand what the father said everything at this house is yours you just never asked for it so i wonder today in this room how many of us are living way beneath our privileges here in this room listen to me i'm gonna say this now before you throw anything at me listen let me finish first okay and i'm done just about done but hear me because i really feel like god spoke some things into my spirit when you're born into this world are we all here today i know we're not jumping around but i want you to remember this when you're born into this world you can't be unborn you can wish you hadn't been born but once you're born revelations didn't hit this house right now listen to me once you're born into this world you can't be unborn hold on don't just hold once you are born again you can't be unborn once you have spoken in tongues for the first time and you have felt i feel the holy ghost here right now listen to me once the initial birthday of your experience and your born-again relationship of being born again speaking in other tongues you cannot undo that what happens is we get out of relationship with the father that's what happens and i'm going to say to every one of us this is what the lord spoke to me i wrote it down on my little notepad i'm concerned about the sun in the pigpen but i'm equally concerned about the brother the elder son in the field there needs to be a revelation sweep in this room right now of the benefits it doesn't matter what you've done it doesn't matter where you've been it doesn't matter what you've said the father everyone say the father said all that i have everyone say oh let's stand together oh say all means all do you really get that revelation everything son that you need you can have everything that you need the reason why i never killed you a calf is you never asked for it hey that father did not bash any one of his sons neither one of them he just let them know everything i have here everyone says yours if you need forgiveness today turn to your neighbor say it's here if you need provision the father ain't that amazing that the younger son said man the servants at home's got bread despair and so the adversary lies to us i i you can go home and give you homework i'm done i'll be coming back this way next sunday but i'll be pulling off down in the valley to preach over dunlap do your homework i find a little bit of something interesting in this whole setting there's somebody missing here anybody know who mama but we're preaching about the revelation anybody need something from the father today you don't have to you don't have to envy your brother you don't have to envy your brother whatever he did for your brother he'll do for you can i tell you today that that elder brother he needed restoration just like the younger brother come on somebody why don't you leave where you're sitting and standing right now come stand down here at the front and say lord just say father say father i didn't even use the scriptures today but the lord kind of gave us the analogy how many parents we got here today lift your hand bible gives us some analogies that if your son would ask a fish would you give him a stone or all these things ask for bread you go what is stone give him the serpent and all that stuff and you're just going to give how many would do that you know a true father wouldn't do that and jesus was making that analogy and this is what jesus said he said if you as a father being evil know how to give good gifts to your children everyone say how much more that's what he said he said how much more would i give to you what you need i truly am pastor i believe this with everything in me that a great revival will come to every church and every individual when it begins to sweep into our own lives and in our own homes ah i'm being for real today church come on you will not ever hear me get behind this pulpit and and harbor and well they took prayer out of school and they took prayer i'm not i'm not one to do that i'm more concerned about where did the prayer go in the home okay i'm not being mean i'm not being mean i'm not being mean i'm not i'm more concerned about the home because when the home and and the local assembly gets things right and we get that revelation that he said whatever you need i will all that i have is dyna whatever you need today cornerstone you can have that if you will just ask the father lift your hands and receive right now if there's something particular that you won't ask the father ask him he said i'll give it to you whatever it is whatever it is that you have need of today oh all all that i have if you need forgiveness of your sins why don't you ask him to forgive you right now maybe you just want to thank him maybe you just want to thank him for every sin that he has forgiven you of why don't you help yourself this morning why don't you rejoice with your brother and your sister for what god has done for them okay i know by sarah i don't want to disassociate from my brother come on let god move let him move in your life get a revelation before you leave here today maybe you're the elder brother the elder son maybe you're the younger but we serve the same father so hallelujah oh come on it's time for thankfulness right now jesus we thank you come on lift your voice to him thank you for the benefits of being in your house thank you lord thank you for grace thank you for love thank you for compassion thank you thank you lord for receiving us oh yeah that's right come on the goodness of the lord the goodness of the lord come on he's been good to you god has been good to you the lord god has touched your life that's right come on how you gonna respond to lord i need you i trust you lord i worship you jesus i worship you i'm so thankful to know you lord oh to know you jesus to bless you lord to worship you jesus i will bless your name lord i will worship your name jesus you are lord god you are lord jesus oh come on the lord's good to you the lord is merciful over again hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh that's right come on are you thankful you know the lord today come on are you thankful that he's got a place for you come on you know the lord's right you know he's righteous
