let's put our hands together and thank the Lord right now oh give him praise and give him glory in this house today if you have your Bibles and we would quickly we would quickly go to Genesis CH 4 and verse number 10 and I'll read this in Genesis 2817 in just a moment but surely the Lord is in this house today surely the presence surely the presence of the Lord uh is in is in this place today and I I thank him Genesis for 4 and 10 and you know we're feeling what we're feeling we're in a we're in a time of prayer right now we're in a time of prayer and people meeting at the church and people meeting at home and um sister Paula came and told me um she suffered with pain for uh some time and and she just walked up here this morning said I'm painfree and um um what God is doing I thought about prayer because there's um if there's one thing I um and making reference of this story um it's so good to have sister shery with us this morning and um the church that her and her husband pastored in West Monroe um I've been privileged to preach there several times and um on Sunday night um for a missions conference when I get there uh we go into the prayer room there it's a very large prayer room and probably an average of a couple hundred people in there praying and it's phenomenal it's just phenomenal and u i I said to I said to brother Thon the pastor I said I said how in the world I said what kind of what did you do to get to generate this and he said Bill Carpenter I cannot take any credit for this he said Bishop shy left this behind said this was the culture that taught that church he taught that church prayer and U if if there's anything that a pastor can leave a church is a culture of prayer what you're feeling today what you're feeling today is the atmosphere of prayer and I think I thank God I thank God for that Genesis 4:10 and he said what hast thou done the voice of thy brother's blood crith unto me from the ground Genesis 28 and verse number 16 and Jacob awaked out of his sleep and he said surely the Lord is in this place and I knew it not and he was afraid and said how Dreadful is this place how awesome unbelievable is this place this is none other but the house of God and this is the Gate of Heaven I want to minister today on this subject a lesson about the blood a lesson about the blood father I love you this morning thank you thank you thank you Lord for your spirit that has come down in this house today thank you Lord for your presence God that's in our hearts in our minds our souls Lord for the next few moments anoint your servant that I may feed your people God that we may grow in Grace and in knowledge of who you are and Lord we'll give you the praise and give you the honor in Jesus wonderful name we all pray amen and amen give him a hand of Praise as you're being seated I absolutely love God this morning I love the things of God today I love the people of God today I love the ways the ways of God I'm reminded of the song when we look back over our lives and think things over I can truly say that I've been blessed I've got a testimony Adam and Eve knew firsthand what it was like to live in a perfect sinless world they knew harmony with their creator they witnessed the harmony of creation they knew church and they enjoyed the blessedness of God and the ways of God and then Sin Sin came deception shame guilt pain fear of the unknown filled their lives the aging process sit in Adam is now tired after a day of labor Eve is now filled with fear but she becomes pregnant and probably like most parents mothers Joy fills their heart Cain is born and then Abel I would imagine that those two boys that we have recorded was probably the first Joy they f felt since being expelled from the Garden of Eden I would imagine the birth of those children Joy filled their minds and probably the conversation's not recorded in scripture but I wonder if Eve didn't look up to Adam and say he looks like you he's got your eyes and maybe Adam said back to Eve well he's got your nose he's got he's got your chin you see we don't need to dismiss people of the Bible like they were something different than what we are those are words that fill our hearts and our minds when our children were born no doubt over time being parents that knew that there's an entrance into a Gate entrance into our former home the Garden of Eden is G Ed by a cheram an Angelic being with a flaming sword that turned every way perfectly guarded the entrance if anyone tried to re-enter into that Garden they would truly be cut down by this cherub them and this sword so no doubt Adam and Eve probably told much like we tell our children don't play in the street please don't play in the street please don't don't don't don't wander too far away from from the house because we as natural parents amen are concerned about their safety because we love them we love them and uh no doubt Cain and Abel probably being like normal boys it's kind of like a sign on the a wall that says Don't touch wet paint what you right I know the hardest whipping I ever received from my father etched in my mind Merchants Road in Knoxville was just a two-lane road at the time but on the other side of that busy two-lane road was a store called uh a store called Kmart everybody remember Kmart and my dad said upon the arrival of a new bicycle he gave me the perimeters of where I could go and he said if you cross Merchants Drive I'll take your bicycle and I give you a whipping now for you old softies out there today he's a good father he was a good father but Kmart had beside it a bakery a bakery and unbeknown to me thinking I could go down to Kmart and get back before Dad would find me mom had called Dad at work and told Dad to stop by the bakery and pick up some corn muffins so me and Dad bicycle went in the back of the truck we went home home to eat supper after supper you're going to get a whipping you ever notice your parents tell you something like that and then wonder why you're not eating why you're not eating you go figure but I would imagine Cain and Abel were much like myself I wonder if they didn't go over the hill go down the valley go over where they they once said they lived I wonder what Cain and Abel thought as they peaked in looked and saw the cheram Cain might have said to Abel there he is there it is there's that being that father told us about and I wonder as they looked and said well you remember Mom and Dad telling us about a luscious Garden don't you remember Mom and Dad telling us about the Beautiful Garden that was there and the beautiful trees and I'm telling you folks the Garden of Eden was manicured by God unlike anything Disney World or any five-star Resort could ever give you it was laid out it was beautiful but that's not what Cain and Abel saw Cain and Abel saw Thorns thistles trees that have been blown over by the roots by storms Cain and abble saw animals fighting with each other they saw the disarray of what sin had brought into the world sometime God or Adam had instructed Cain and Abel on how they were to worship their God now we can't we can't go back to the Garden we can't go back into the garden but God did live leave us way of worship and it included the off offering of an innocent animal blood was shed skins were made clothing was made from the skins of the animal but something happened scripture simply tells us that in the process of time the process of time can I tell you today can I interject to you just for a moment if God says it let's not let time change our minds if God says something is wrong it's still wrong today although it was a thousand years ago it's still wrong let's not allow the process of time but the process of time Cain decided that he would offer something differently than what God had instructed and God rejected Cain's offering and Cain became angry Cain became very angry and disappointed and emotionally God it's even in God's word came be became emotionally disturbed he came became emotionally disturbed that he was not offering what God had said and and and because of that it it affected it affected his emotions I'm going to tell you something sin is more than an act that you do it's a disease that you take on nobody ever feels joyful over sin but Abel his brother continued to do is God had instructed Adam and Adam had instructed Abel Abel continued to bring the blood sacrifice and God continued to bless Abel the Bible tells us that God gave Cain a warning and God gave Cain instructions on how to change you're thankful that we serve a God that he's not three strikes and you're out you're thankful that you serve a God that will tell you how to worship and how to live and when we choose not to obey God and we land on our face he's not a God that's simply there to say I told you so he's a God to tell you how to get back up and start back over again for his mercy endureth forever but Cain wouldn't listen to God and Cain became inflamed he became inflamed by Abel to the point one day that Abel or Cain took some object we don't really know what it is and he took the life of his brother God would come down and you know the familiar conversation Cain where's your brother am I My Brother's Keeper and now to the text he said your brother's blood is crying out to me from the ground your brother's blood is a voice that's crying out to me from the ground now we don't we're not going to pass over this quickly because as you study scripture and put it together much like a piece of a puzzle the full picture comes to light when the Bible says repeatedly over and over again 57 times in our Bible does the doeses the phrase door of the Tabernacle appear but before there was a tabernacle it simply says that they brought their sacrifices before the Lord before the Lord it is believed that this is not just any place but it was at the place of the entrance of the Garden of Eden that you had a line there that you were not to cross but that was the place that they would bring their sacrifices for that was the last place they felt the touch of God upon them and so they would come before the Lord it would later be that they would bring their sacrifices to the door of the Tabernacle 57 times it says to the door of the Tabernacle so when we connect today church that God said your brother's blood is crying and then in the New Testament Abel and the blood of Jesus Christ is compared in the Old Testament the blood of Abel cried out for vengeance cried out for Revenge but the Bible says in Hebrews that the shed blood of Jesus Christ crith out better things it cries out for mercy and forgiveness it cries out to give peace and it cries out to give joy this Blood would cry out in the Old Testament from the door of the Tabernacle the blood cries out today at the door of the house of God now join me for a moment in Leviticus chapter 17 verse number 8 and see how God puts this together in Leviticus 17 and verse number 8 God said to Israel and thou shalt say therefore unto them whatsoever man there be of the House of Israel or of the strangers which sojourn among you that offereth a burn offering or sacrifice and bringeth it not look at this now now and bringeth it not unto the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation to offer it unto the Lord even that man shall be cut off from among his people look at this God said you just can't offer a sacrifice any old place you you you can't stay home and I think one of the things that the apostolic church and maybe and I can only speak for the Apostolic Church uh but I I I think it's across uh Christianity I think one of the things we still haven't recovered from covid over is staying home and watching Church online and if you're home and you're watching Church online today you need to get to the house of God if you're physically able you need to get to the house of God God said God said that you just can't offer that sacrifice any old place he said you can you can offer it in your tent if you want to you can offer it in your backyard if you want to you can you you can you can stay home from the house of God if you want to but I want to tell you I don't accept your sacrifice and I'll cut you off from among the people God would not allow them to offer their sacrifices and offerings in any other place place but at the door of the Tabernacle the door of the Tabernacle was an important part of the spiritual life of the people of God a door is an entrance way in their sacrifice became their ticket to enter into the house of God things took place and may I add this to what I have written not only did things take place at the door of the Tabernacle but good things take place at the door of the Tabernacle I said good things take place in the house of God hey don't let somebody magnify Hypocrites don't let somebody tell you I don't go to church anymore there's Hypocrites that go there well that what that's what makes them a hypocrite if they didn't come to church they would be a sinner but there they're a hypocrite they're still a sinner but they're just a hypocrite but my saying you know what my saying is I'd rather go to church with a few Hypocrites than to go to hell with all of them right is there Hypocrites in this church well sure sure sure there is it's a church it's got people is there imperfection here why sure it it's people that are here so we're going to have imperfections here at this church but can I tell you good things happen at the door of the house of God good things happen Exodus 29:4 Exodus chapter 29 and verse number four Aaron and his sons were brought to the door the the Tabernacle and there they were washed and there they had the calling placed upon them people received callings in the house of the Lord look with me in Exodus 2942 this morning Exodus 29 and verse 42 listen to God talking about an offering he says this shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your Generations if you're following me if you're following right right now 42 this shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your Generations where's it at where's it at at the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord where I will meet with you to speak there unto thee and there will I meet with the children of Israel and the Tabernacle shall be Sanctified by my glory and I will sanctify the Tabernacle of the congregation and the altar I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons to minister to me in the priest's office I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God and they shall know that I am the Lord their God that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I may dwell among them I am the Lord their God look at this today look at what happened at the door of the Tabernacle at the door of the Tabernacle God would speak to them there at the door of the Tabernacle God would meet with them there now I'm not dare telling you that God that God has so put himself in this place that this is the only place that there are some things that God can do and wants to do for you that can only take place when you are meeting on a regular faithful basis in the house of God there's some things God cannot make out of you there's some things God wants to show you that it is is in the house of God that he will he will show you look at this God said I'll meet with you I'll sanctify this place by Your Glory by my glory I'll be in this place and then he comes all the way down at verse 46 if you'd put that on the screen again for me he says and they shall know that I am the Lord their God that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt that I may dwell among them I am the Lord their God can I tell you what continually coming to the house of God reminds me of it reminds reminds me of who I used to be it reminds me that I've been brought out of sin when I think about his goodness and all that he's done for me hey you cannot praise God in light of your current standing with God what really causes you to praise God is when you look around and you think God you have brought me a mighty mighty mighty mighty long way you know why a lot of people go back to the world they forget the world they came out of that they forget how hard they had it in the world how hopeless they had it in the world how much uh uh Agony they had in the world but when I think of the goodness of Jesus and all that he's done for me since I've come to the house of the Lord I've got to praise him with all of my heart am now I said to you a minute ago I said to you a minute ago I said to you that there are some things that you'll never find out until you come to the house of the Lord now I want you I want you I want that to sink in if you write in your Bible write that down there's some things you'll never know that God has for you until you come to the house of the Lord you see in the Book of Numbers Moses was giving out inheritance he was writing down genealogies this man this man had this son and that son had a son and they were writing down genealogies so that when they went into the promised land they could be given land they could be given an inheritance but there was a man there was a man by the name of zahad zelah had and this man didn't have any sons all he had was daughters um and so when Moses was recording this man had this and he had this son oh there you got a son I can put you down you had a son I can put you down but zelop had had no Sons so there was no recording and there would be no inheritance and in number num 27 verse number two the daughters of zoh had came down and they had an appointment with Moses and here's what here's what that happened numbers 27:2 and they being the daughters stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the princes and all the congregation can you can you can we read this together right now by the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation saying they came to the door of the Tabernacle of the congregation and they said this is just not right our father was not among those that perished by Kora he didn't perish by Rebellion he just died in the wilderness he died of natural causes he died in the wilderness Moses he wasn't a rebellious man he wasn't like the the the men of Kora he was a good man he just simply died and he died without sons and he died only having daughters and it's just not right it's just not right and Moses said what any good leader will say when he doesn't know what to do he said let me pray about it let me go talk to the Lord let me go talk to the Lord he he stood there he didn't know what to say brother po he said well daughters let me go in here and talk to the Lord and let me see what the Lord says and in verse seven and in verse S here's what God answered the daughters of zel fad spake what right Thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's Brethren and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their fathers to pass unto them now look at this God said it was right God said they are exactly right they should be given an inheritance okay God now let me have a conversation with you if it's right in your kingdom on your throne why didn't you send your spirit out there and cause them and tell them way out yonder why didn't you talk to Moses about it because the daughters hadn't brought the Dilemma to the right place they hadn't brought their problem to the right place you see today you need to learn how to bring your problems to the right place Starbucks is not the right place I our fellowship's good go to Starbucks get coffee whatever whatever you want to do and and now not only Starbucks there's a plethora of different coffee houses all over the place go there have have bread break bread do whatever want to but there are some things that God has planned for your life that you're only going to find out God's mind when you come down to the house of God and you stand in the house of God and you say God I'm still waiting on that answer God I still don't know what to do God I'm still waiting on you at the door of the house of God at the door of the house of God now this blood from Cain or excuse me from Abel at the door of the house of God we we understand that the blood of Abel that before there was the blood of Abel there was the sin of Adam and Eve Adam and Eve sin and in Genesis chter 3:1 15 this is interesting I'm going to put these two things together Genesis 3:15 and verse 16 God is speaking to Satan the root cause the tempter and he says to the root cause I will put enmity between thee and the woman the word enmity means a wall of hatred I will put hatred between you and the woman between thy seed and her seed it shall bruise or crush or destroy thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel now in the midst of sin God gave a promise and he spoke it to the tempter to the devil to the cause to the root cause of sin and he said I'm going to I'm going to put a wall of hatred between what you will produce through rebellion and what I will produce through righteousness I'm going to put a wall of hatred and these two seeds are going to meet we know the righteous seed was Jesus Christ we know that the seed of the serpent or the devil was the children of sinners who crucified Jesus Christ bruised his heel but the greatest Victory ever won on Earth was at Calvary when the victory over sin crushed the head of the serpent the only True Deliverance you can have is found in Jesus the only True Deliverance you can find is in the Deliverance that the cross brings and so he goes ahead and says this is what it's going to look like this promise but then verse 16 comes around now let me let me get this let me let me let me plant this in your mind the seed of the woman which is Christ is going to crush the head of the serpent this is Promised Victory God promises us Victory everybody say victory victory say it again say say it one more time if you didn't say it those three times obey God and your pastor and say it the fourth time victory victory man victory victory verse 15 Victory but now let's look at verse 16 unto the woman he said I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children and thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over now wa wait a minute wait a minute I thought the seed of the woman was going to bring Victory that's correct but now you're telling me the place that I should look for victory is a place of Sorrow that's correct because sin brings sorrow and the only way that God can Deliver Us from sorrow is to identify with sorrow God just spoke of Victory now God speaks of multiplied sorrow the promised seed that will bruise the head of the serpent which will come from a woman is also coupled with multiplied sorrow this is a beautiful type of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Our Victory who is wrapped in flesh is wrapped in the flesh of Sorrow I think sorrow is something we all can identify with today but praise be to God we don't have a high priest that we worship that cannot be tou touched with the feelings of our infirmity but was tempted in all ways like as we are but here's the difference yet without sin he can identify with you and at the same time he can deliver you that's why we ought to live for him that's why we ought to praise him that's why we ought to magnify your his name he can not only identify with you but he can deliver you at the same time time oh let's read about him let's read about him for a moment let's read about him in Isaiah chapter 53 verse number one Isaiah 53 verse number one is prophecy about Jesus Christ who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm the strength of the Lord revealed for he shall grow up before him as a tender plant as a root out of dry ground he ha no form nor cless and when we shall see him there is no beauty that we should desire him can I tell you you would not have wanted to follow him based on Charisma you would not have wanted to follow him based on a natural beauty because he came with neither he didn't come with Charisma and he didn't come with natural beauty because he wasn't coming to save you through your flesh he was coming to save you through your spirit let's read on verse three what's he going to be like he is despised and rejected Ed of men he's not popular a man of somebody say it a man of a man of why because he wants to identify with your Sorrows if I could tell you to place today your Sorrows whatever has broken your heart needs to be brought to the feet of Jesus at the door of the Tabernacle I still believe that we ought to get out of our pew at the end of preaching if we're physically able I Still Believe We ought to get out of our Pew and come down and stand around the altar well I did that when I was a sinner I got news for you I'm still a sinner I'm just a sinner saved by grace I still believe that we ought to come down and bring our sorrows for him don't just come patty cake for Jesus with a truckload of sorrow and leave here in a few moments because you'll be worse off than what you were when you came but you got to learn how to bring your sorrow you got to learn how to bring it to him our lovely Lord our Lord Jesus Christ You' got to learn how to bring it to him oh come on give him praise right now give him glory right now he is he is despised he is rejected of being a Man of Sorrows acquainted with grief we hid as were we hid as as were as it were our faces from him he was despised we esteemed him not that word esteemed there means to Value him you better learn how to Value Jesus thank God for your car out there in the parking lot but you better learn how to Value Jesus thank God for your job making unbelievable money but sir you better learn how to Value Jesus thank God for your manicured lawn thank God for your fancy gated community home thank God for wherever you live but at the end of every day you better esteem Jesus because Give Me Jesus Give Me Jesus over houses and lands it's more than a song I said give Give Me Jesus over houses and land Give Me Jesus over over wealth Untold I'd Rather Have Jesus brother Haron could sink I would rather have him we better learn how to esteem him we better learn that at the end of the day it's all about who you put your value on we better esteem him worthy we esteemed him not surely he had borne our griefs and carried our sorrows yet we did a SE him stricken smitten of God and Afflicted listen to our Lord but he was wounded watch this please just please watch this he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we healed everything he went through turns around and blesses us for good only God can take the ugliness of our lives and turn it out for good I recommend to every every every every student here today get as much education as you can graduate from high school preferably ACA and then go on to college and get all the education you can better yourself pick yourself up by the bootstrap I mean just better yourselves but at the end of the day there's nothing that will bless and change your life like Jesus Christ a relationship with him I didn't say going to church I said a relationship with him I didn't say paying your tithe I said a relationship with him I didn't say being a member of FAA I said being in a relationship and you can't be in a relationship with him until you bring your Sorrows to him because only Jesus can help you only Jesus can deliver you only Jesus can be that to your life so you know what pastor's not preaching too good today uh you you know what pastors preaching probably one of the best messages you will ever hear in your life I I I wish you was telling me how to be a better person I am I wish you was telling me how to be Pros prosperous I am because if you don't have a relationship with him and the only way you can have a relation he's your everything he's your all in all he's your beginning he's your ending and he's everything in between only only Jesus can take the ugliness of sin sister Paula pay for you this morning she down I'm painfree this morning wasn't that beautiful we both cried she walked down here and we both cried wasn't that beautiful but what did that cost uh by his stripes I said by his stripes we're healed a man receiving 39 stripes on his back is not a beautiful sight to see but he wanted to tell you and I that I can take the ugliness of a beating and turn it around and 2,000 years later I will touch a woman in a church and she will walk down to the Altar and say Pastor I am painfree this morning it took him dealing with the ugliness man y'all a y y y'all ain't going to believe what y'all ain't going to believe what I'm going to tell you and I I she won't mind me telling you but the the only thing one of the things me and the first lady she she she sometimes on her phone she will see small clips of animals eating other animals I I don't like that let me show you something and it'll be a little a little dough a little dough bouncing down by the creek then the camera will show turn it off Penny turn it off turn it off turn it off no it's going to drag it up in a tree in a moment just just wait a minute I I don't want to see it being dragged up in a tree I'm so sorry I mean that's ugly but you know that's a chain and you know you know Simba and all that I I understand understand how how that how that goes you know understand it but you he thought for a moment that God gave us something that he wants us to look at because only God can take the ugliness I'm talking to somebody today only God can take the ugliness of your life and turn it out for beauty only God could take a clawed Crowder who was an alcoholic who was taking his Sorrows to a bottle who was taking his Sorrows to a disease taking it into his body and getting drunk and being an alcoholic only God could take Claude Crowder Place him in a church and because he got in that church he had the message of the death burial and resurrection of our lovely Lord Jesus Christ he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ matter of fact when KY long baptized him that night when KY long baptized and Claud was talking in tongues in the water before he got baptized he was talking in tongues and he kept talking in tongues KY long looked at me like what do I do I said B I said put him under and they put him under he went under talking in tongues he came out shot water out of his mouth and kept on talking in tongues but let me tell you something beautiful he went home and got a hold of those ugly bottles of liquor and he poured them down the drain of his sink and he lived on for many years and he never touched another drop of liquor I got new for you today he ugly ugly ugly Judah Judah had two sons that were evil oh they were so evil Judah we know Miss praiser had two sons oh how evil they were oh how evil they were the firstborn married a woman by the name of Tamar and because judah's son was evil God killed him leaving Tamar judah's daughter-in-law a widow in that day in that day if your brother if your brother died you were to take you were to take your brother's wife and you was to to raise up a seed and the seed would be called by your brother's name so he died and she was given to the second brother Jud Judah had two sons and he was given to the second but the Bible said he was evil too he was evil too and guess what God did to him God killed him too now Judah had a son that was not quit quite grown yet and Judah told Tamar mother th Judah told Tamar he said just put a Widow's dress on and wait for him to be grown and I'll give him to you but Judah lied Judah thought to himself you've already killed two of my sons why do I want to give you the second the third one and so Judah did not follow through with his word Judah did not give that third son to Tamar but Tamar had an ugly plan Tamar took off her dress of a widow and put on the attire of a harlot she put a veil across her face and she sit out in the open road Judah came by she ugliness of sin Judah came by and wanted to stay a night with the supposedly Harlot he came up to her and he said U how much and uh they agreed on a price and Judah didn't have it with him and Judah said I want to stay the night with you and I will go ahead and give you my bracelet and my staff these is like saying I'll give you I'll give you my driver's license I'll give you my identification and tomorrow I'll bring you the price so she said yes and took his bracelet and his staff they went in and spent the night together and then Judah the next day sent a servant down said there's a harlot that sits by the way said go down and find the Harlot and give the Harlot give the Harlot this and the payment and bring my staff and my bracelet back back well the servant goes down and he can't find the Harlot he can't find her because Tamar has taken off the harlot's Garment put her Widow back on widow's garment back on three months later
