I'm so glad that I have a hope Beyond this world in the Great Book of Acts chapter number 17 begin reading at verse number five acts 17 and5 but the Jews which believed not moved with Envy took unto them certain lwd fellows of the baser sort and gathered a company and set all the city on an uproar and assaulted the house of Jason and sought to bring them out to the people and when they found them not they drew Jason and certain Brethren unto the rulers of the city crying these that have turned the world upside down have come hither also I want to preach for a few moments today on this simple subject are you upside down are you upside down you may be seated today are you upside down I know in the market in the field of finances it is possible to be upside down in a loan a car loan a note on a house well what does it mean to be upside down well it means that you owe more than it's worth you owe more than the car is worth you owe more than the house is worth and they call this being upside down now this scripture text that I've read to you today is about a group of people who were vem ently against the church and how the church was making such a tremendous change in the lives of Sinners was changing people people's lives were changed for the better aren't you glad that the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes our lives for the better is there a witness in this house today the the power of God but this this this group of men of the baser sort um they were upset and when they finally got an audience with the magistrates about the apostles they said these words they said you know them those guys that have turned the world upside down well they were opposite they were upside down in their sin they owed more than they were worth called them of the baser sort lwd fellas they owed more than they were worth because brothers and sisters today no man can pay for his salvation you you can't make up you can't you you you can't do enough to purchase your salvation because you are upside down in your life you are you owe more than you are possibly worth man was upside down in his sin but God came and put the Apostolic Church into in into existence through the power of the Holy Ghost and we've come to an upside down world to turn it upside right we want to turn it back up right we want to turn people up the right way man's upside down he is upside down in his sin but the apostolic Jesus name book of Acts on fire acts 238 preaching church is to come to find folks that are upside down in their life and to turn them upside right we got to we got to get them turned back up the right way I mean people that are would you not would you not think that somebody who is drinking themselves to death is not upside down down would you not think people that are taking substance into their bodies and Wrecking and ruling and burning up brain cells to where they can't even think anymore are not upside down but thank God for a group of apostolic people that are coming along and we're saying wait a minute I want to turn you upside right I want to turn you back up the right way you see I was sent this the other day by a dear friend brother Shirley sent me this and it is an atheist view on life here is the atheist they're upside down here's their view on life I will live my life according to these beliefs God does not exist it is just foolish to think that there is a God with a cosmic plan that an all powerful God brings Redemption and healing to the pain and suffering in the world is a comforting thought however it is only wishful thinking people can do as they please without Eternal consequences the idea that I am deserving of hell because of sin is a lie meant to make me a slave to those in power the more you have the happier you will be our existence has no Grand meaning or purpose in a world with no God there is freedom to be who I want to be but with God everything is fine it is ridiculous to think I am lost and in need of saving all right you you y'all hear what I just read but let me read it from the last sentence going back up it reads like this I am lost and and in need of saving it is ridiculous to think everything is fine but with God there is freedom to be who I want to be in a world with no God our existence has no Grand meaning or purpose the more you have the happier you will be is a lie meant to make me a slave to those in power because of sin I am deserving of Hell the idea that people can do as they please without Eternal consequences is only wishful thinking it is a comforting thought how however that an all powerful beliefs I'm telling you you can choose to live an upside down life or you can choose to get upside right and start seeing that things that you ought to see I'm glad somebody come around and turn me upside right I'm glad somebody found me I will close with this the town the town W the town drunk the town wo stumbled into church one night before it was over God Of Heaven got a hold of him he went to the Altar and threw his hands up up gave his heart and Life to God and repented and cried and God touched him he never had worked he couldn't work his habit of being alcoholic rendered him unable to hold down a job his wife would have to do two and three jobs and the kids were clothed by people in the community they tell me but that night that man he was baptized in Jesus name and filled the holy ghost man it wasn't long he didn't get up with the morning with a hangover he got up and went to work mowing yards he went to work earning a living he got a job down at the local Factory and began to make a weekly paycheck he began to honor God with tithe and offerings and God began to bless him when one day he stumbled upon an old atheist the old atheist told him that he did not believe in God he said explain to me he said that silly story in the Bible Jesus first miracle they say was where he turned water into wine he said could you tell me do you really believe that he said to him well he said I I wasn't there he said I really don't know I wasn't there I don't know that he turned water into wine but said sit down here a minute sir let me tell you something said I used to be a wio I used to be a drunk I said I couldn't put shoes on my kids's feet I couldn't put a roof over the their heads I couldn't put food on the table but I said I met this man called Jesus and said he took all that old wine out of me and said since I've not been buying wine I've been buying shoes for my kids and I've been buying a house to go over their head and and food on the table said I don't know if God turned water into wine but he sure did turn wine into tennis shoes he sure did turn wine into a place to lay down he sure did turn I'm here to tell you today I'm glad that we have turned the world upside down
