oh thank the Lord thank the Lord thank the Lord if you're not already on your feet would you stand with me right now the name of Jesus the name of Jesus the name of Jesus there's salvation and no other for there's no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved one of The Commandments that's a misunderstood and misinterpreted commandment says Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain to many people that means we're not supposed to cuss Now Grant you there is a plethora of scripture that tells us we're not supposed to cuss use profanity but don't use that one because that one simply means don't take his name to no profit don't take something as powerful as his name and not do something with it come on now don't don't take something as awesome as powerful as the name of Jesus and not let it profit your life can I tell you it's the name we're baptized in it's the name that the Holy Ghost comes in it's the name that'll silence every devil it's the name that will heal every Cancer it woo it is a name why don't we take a moment and just exercise the the power of the name of Jesus right now oh I use that name to silence every devil I use that name to drive every demonic Force every demonic Force out of this room right now Jesus I'm about to minister your word and I use your name to make this a free zone for the Holy Ghost to move in right now I bind every devil I bind every ad just whatever you do whatever you do Church whatever you do please don't take his name in vain please don't take his name please don't take his name in vain if you have your Bibles I want you to go back with me to Genesis chap 2 verse number n we going to go back to the trees this morning last Sunday morning I got on the trees the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil and the tree of life and I didn't get finished with it and I want to go back to the trees this morning I do want to welcome pastor and sister Patterson here with us today they've got family they've got family the Franklin family and uh we're so glad to have them here with us today uh I I really didn't recognize brother brother Patterson because he's lost seven PB and I told him I said man you ain't half the man you used to be and uh he he shared with me and I think this is very noteworthy he said I I wanted to lose this weight because I want to use my body in the ministry I want to use my body to preach and I think that's a well worthy cause uh that he would want to do this and brother sister Patterson we love and appreciate you here at fac are you ready for preaching this morning Genesis 2:9 and out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is Pleasant to the sight good for food the tree of life also in the midst of the garden and also and the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil Genesis 2:16 verse1 17 and the Lord God commanded the man saying of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat but of the tree of the but of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil Thou shalt not eat of it for in the day that thou eat this thereof Thou shalt surely die go to the Gospel of John chapter number 10 verse number 10 somebody say praise the Lord praise the Lord somebody say Jesus Jesus John chapter 10 verse number 10 if you found it in your Bibles and you see it on the screen I'd like for us all to read it together out loud distinctly as a congregation let's start the thief cometh not but to steal and to kill and to destroy I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more they might have it more abundantly now Jesus help me preach this morning Jesus touch my mind help me to articulate the words Lord just use me as a conduit this morning Lord use me as a conduit to minister your word let your word go forth and the power of the anointing let it have creative power today let it have yoke breaking power today Lord let it flow not only from my mouth but through the ears the hands and the feet lord of the people standing before me Lord let your spirit move at the end of this message in Jesus name we all pray amen and amen you may be seated today I want to connect these three verses of scripture together remind us just a little review of of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil uh and the tree the Tree of Life the tree of life you will notice with me as you study the Book of Genesis that the location of both of these trees the location of both of these trees are identified in the Bible the Bible says that the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil that was forbidden fruit and the tree of life that they could eat freely from was in the midst of the garden that word midst of the garden simply means it was in they were in the middle the middle of the garden in the middle of the garden in the midst of the garden side by side was the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil what which was forbidden and the Tree of Life with permission granted to eat freely from this tree now it's interesting I want you to go to Genesis chapter 2 and verse number seven it says in Genesis 2 and 7 and the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground little boy was in Sunday school and heard the teacher say that we came from dust and we returned back to dust later that day as they were eating the little boy ran in and informed his mother at home and said Mama come back to my bedroom and look under the bed because there's somebody that's either going or coming up under my bed we come from dust and return to dust he used the dust of the ground verse 7 and breathed notice this into his nostrils the breath of what somebody help me the Breath of Life Man became a living Soul go back to John 10:10 for a moment Jesus said I have come that you might have life comma I have come that you might have life comma and that you may have it more abundantly I came that you might have life comma and that you would have that life more abundant more abundantly I looked up the Hebrew word for abundantly and the word abundantly simply means exceeding exceeding in some number or measure or rank or need over and above more than necessary so he said I come that you might have life comma and that you might have it more exceeding in number measure rank need over and above more than necessary I come that you might have life comma and that you would have that life more you would have that life more than necessary now let me weave my way around in Genesis 2:7 go back there for a moment in Genesis 2:7 and the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life was Adam alive when he breathed into his nostrils not a trick question I just want some audience participation all right Was he alive yes yes now if he's alive if he's alive then why of the necessity of the Tree of Life why give him the tree of life if he's already been given life from God I just believe with all my heart that what God did in Genesis chapter 2 he explained it in John chapter 10 and verse number 10 I have not only come that you might have life but I have come that you might have more than is necessary I have come to give you more than just life now which would lead to this I know what the world does with their Surplus us the world wants to hoard more than enough up for another day we hear words such as you better save up for a rainy day we hear all that I understand it I get it but when it comes to a child of God our more than enough is intended for us to share it when God gives us more than enough it is is it just so that I can walk around and say that hey I've got life and I got more than enough no my more and your more than enough is intended for us to share it God made the church and has given us more than enough not for us to hoard it but for us to share it we live in a dark world and friend if there's ever been a time that you ought to be more convinced the Bible is true it's now we're living in prophetic times we're seeing the word of God unfold before us we have told Through The Years how the world would turn against that Nation called Israel and lo and behold they are writing in our streets with unbelievable demonic hatred toward that Nation coincidence not on your life friend it's God that knows the end from the beginning but he wanted to share it with the church because he's given you and I more than enough but not to hoard it up we have been given more than enough we have been given more than enough so that we can share it why do we have the baptism of the Holy Ghost because he not only came came that we might have life he not only came that we might have life but that we would have life more than enough to every to every person in here that has an unsaved mate right now can I tell you take comfort because lady when God filled you with the Holy Ghost he gave you more than enough so you can share with your husband husband if you got a wife that's not saved God's given you more than enough when he gave you the Holy Ghost and that more than enough is intended to get a hold of your wife husband and wives that have come into the house of God and been born again but you have children that maybe you didn't raise them up to walk with God and you're having to watch their lives implode in front of you take courage today I've come to preach the mighty baptism and purpose of the Holy Ghost take comfort today when God baptized you with the Holy Ghost he gave you more than enough enough to reach down and touch Johnny and reach down and touch Sally and reach around your community God gave you more than enough Jesus brother Mayo speaks of it Jesus speaks of this more than enough in John chapter 7 John chapter 7 verse number 37 listen to Jesus speak of more than enough in that last day that great day of the feast Jesus stood and cried saying if any man thirst let him come into me and drink he that believeth on me as the scripture have said you can't just believe on him any old way you can't just believe on him any old way you got to believe on him say it with me now as the scripture has said what's going to happen out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water but this space key of the spirit which they that believe on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified he said when I give you my spirit how many glad you got his Spirit today how many just wave your right hand if you got his Spirit today I got his Spirit today well let me tell you what you got when you got his Spirit you got more than enough you not only got the life of God God not only filled us with his Spirit to give us life he filled us listen closely he filled us with his Spirit to live through us he's not only interested in infilling us he is interested in living through us that's why he gave us more than enough that's why he not only made man and breathed in him the breath of life but he also planted a tree and he said that's the tree of life that's more than enough you've got more than enough Adam you've got my life and you've got the tree of life and that's why when God restored man he breathed on man and said receive you the Holy Ghost but when he gave us the Holy Ghost he just didn't give us enough he came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly and then Jesus speaking about the day that the Holy Ghost would be given he described it this way he said he that believeth me as the scripture has said out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water if we were just given enough he would just say I will fill up his belly with living water I'll fill him up with living water but Jesus is more concerned with just filling us he wants to live through us so he said I came that you might have life and you might have it more abundantly and now it's going to be in you a river flowing out of you a river of Living Water Well let's see if we can find some more scripture to valid to validate this Jesus acts 1 and verse number four Jesus is hung on the cross Jesus has been placed in the Tomb Jesus has rose from the dead the third day and has walked among them for some 40 days he is about to ascend into heaven and in Acts chapter one verse number four this conversation just before he left the Earth took place and being assembled together with them commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem but wait for the promise of the Father which saith he you have heard of me for John truly baptized with water but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence when they therefore were come together they asked of him saying Lord will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel and he said unto them it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the father had put in his own power look at verse eight real closely but you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you somebody say that's life life and you shall be Witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth everybody say Abundant Life I'm not only giving you enough on the day of Pentecost to feel 120 but I am giving you the Abundant Life more than you need not for you to hoard I need somebody to fill Jerusalem with the message of the death burial and Resurrection I need people that are in bondage to find every home every village in Jerusalem Judea and Samaria and I need them to preach and Proclaim that this Mighty promise of the Holy Ghost is for them and thank God the church is 2,000 years old and here we are thousands of miles away from Jerusalem but somehow someway somebody brought more than enough to our family and here we are today because somebody brought more I want you to know that once you receive the Holy Ghost you want to share it you want to share it once you receive it cause there's nothing like it somebody said well it's like being high no it's not somebody say it's like being drunk no it's not I've been both of them and not proud of it but I've been both of them and I got news for you it's nothing like being high or being drunk nothing like it well say what's it like well here it goes the best definition the Bible ible gives us it's Joy boy I feel my Jesus coming on this morning I I I said it's joy and full of Glory it's Indescribable but there's one thing you want to do anytime you have a good experience you want to share it I wouldn't give you an experience I didn't want to share as a matter of fact a religion that cost you nothing is probably worth nothing when God give me and you the Holy Ghost he gave us something worth sharing it's something that you want to tell your neighbor about you want to get on the phone and tell everybody about I got the Holy Ghost time you receive something good and this happens both spiritually and In the Flesh you want to share it you just want to share it right come on little participation here right don't act like you don't want to share it all right don't don't some of you ladies find out where a good sale going on you know you you share that you you know you share maybe some of you don't don't don't tell Sally about that she'll we'll show up the church with the same dress on I get it I get it again but I'll tell you something I find something good I find something good sister Dempsey I just want to share I can't help it I can't help it elbow your neighbor say he can't help it mother lady I can't help it when I find something good I want to share it whether it's in the flesh or the spirit for example I love Seafood all right I love seafood and I particularly love things like lobster and crab legs don't get to eat them a lot for one reason the price on the menu can I get a witness somebody right right but this past week first lady and I took a few days off and went to the other promis Land Florida took a few days off and a woman told us I was asking I want to eat where the locals eat I want to eat where the local I I I can eat at Chili's I can drive across town eat chilies I can I can do all that I I want to know where you local folks and she I I like seu she said you you need to go you need to go to Bar Harbor Seafood come on if you follow me there it is Bar Harbor and she said it's a wholesale seafood they sell right out of the front of the store to the public and I thought okay but we ain't cooking on this vacation she said on Tuesdays I believe it's Tuesdays through Saturday and I may have that time wrong but Tuesdays through Saturday they serve fresh seafood out the side window said it's it's it's it's not an inside door it's not inside a restaurant said they got great great Seafood give me the next picture please right there they are lamb of the Living God bless God not just one but when I walked in I I said is that sign right I said is that two lobsters for 20 bucks she said you're correct sir I said give me to she said you want hot butter with that I said is the pope Catholic I said you better believe you better believe I want I got to eating them s Carpenter she said she turned her back she said I I I can't stand to look said their eyes are open so I took my napkin and I folded it over its little head so help me I did well you tell us about this cuz I had a favorable experience I've already told brother Pastor Ericson he's a foodie I've already told him the next time we go we're going here we we're going right here why cuz it was pleasant it was enjoyable it was inexpensive and I want to share it right give me the next picture something even better happen now you see in the background over this guy to your left that guy's the picnic table is all it was we're sitting there in the middle of an industrial park there in Orlando picnic table sitting around gorgeous weather and I look about three tables over and I said that looks like Dave Nelson's son-in-law and S Caron turned around she said I think it is and um um he got up to go get some napkins and I said no Dave sonol was taller than that I said that that's that's not him and so we sat down and she said if that's Dave's son-in-law and he sees us and you don't say something he's going to think you're snotty so I I I taught Dave a Bible study I I not Dave n Nate Nate's his name I taught Nate the one on the far right I taught Nate a Bible study zoom on on on a zoom computer and um Talk a Bible study and I had his phone number so I just up and I just I just sitting at the table licking butter off my fingers I just called him and when I called his number brother Carl sister car said I just saw him look at his watch like he got a text and when he looked at his watch he looked up and he came over and we you know what's the likelihood he live he did live in Tampa and now he lives in Orlando and he's a youth pastor in church there and we started talking we started talking back forth he said you won't believe this he said you will not believe this the man to my left there he said I'm sitting over here explaining to this man where I got my first spiritual Touch Of God was in a church in marville Tennessee and here you are today I I I just think it's worth sharing I I just think it's worth sharing don't you come on folks don't you just believe the Holy Ghost is worth sharing it's better than them it's better that Lobster come on isn't it wonderful Brother Martin to share it we got something to share if you enjoy something you won't share it right am I right today am am I off base today come on if you got something you love you want to what give me my next something I look right there right there got that on my phone and when I meet a stranger and I start talking about family right there's something my world is all wrapped up and come May there'll be one more addition to that family that's my world right there that's my world right there a love of my life right there from my wife to my children to my son-in-law to my daughter-in-law to my grandbabies that's my life I'm on a plane I meet a stranger that picture's coming out all right that picture's coming out I'm showing them that picture this is my wife this is my daughters this is my son-in-laws this is my grandbabies it's coming out why because I love them and I want to share them right you you ought to really question if you really say you love something and you don't share it there a difference between knowing the truth and loving the truth there's a lot of people know the truth but they don't they don't love the truth well how do you know you're judging I'll judge you if you don't share what you know then you don't love what you know if I sit on a if I sit on a plane or meet a stranger and they're telling me about their wife and their kids and I never put that out and I never mentioned to them I'm married and I never mention to them I got all these kids and I never mentioned to them you think I love them no I don't love them but you share what you love I share that picture I tell another picture I share give me the other one I share that one right there Angela Patterson sent me that one day there's that's a that's a rainbow going over the church right there and she sent me that I share that with people you know why it is a segue it is a segue into talking to people about the truth why why would you show your family because I'm not going to tell you about my family without telling you about my god when you blow people's Mind by telling them been married 39 years and I know some of you some of you precious WID headed folks here today you I I know when I say we we've been married 39 years I know you're saying oh you're just a pup I we've been married 50 and all that I understand that and I get that but when you come from my generation we don't stay married 39 days anymore and when I can share with a when I can share that we've been married 39 years we got all these kids but I just don't say it that we that's what we got I tell them why we got what we have and that is God that is that is that is God that is God share it I'm not ashamed of it I'm not ashamed of what I I am a Christian I am a follower of Jesus Christ I am Apostolic in Doctrine I believe in Repentance I believe in water baptism in Jesus name I believe in the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues I'm a Rapture Watcher I'm waiting for the Rapture of Jesus Jesus Christ could you praise him with me right now the last personal thing I'll tell you coming home Friday night on the plane got on the plane young man sitting beside me he said to me going to Knoxville do you know where some good bars are no he said well they're telling me about this place called the strip down down is on the campus you yeah I think so and then he had some French language and I just said look I said for this goes too far I Saidi you're going to eventually ask me my occupation and I'm G to tell you I'm a preacher and then he let out some more French words all right embarrassed of what he was saying he said well why you saying that because I'm going to tell you something God gave this man the Holy Ghost when he was 16 years old and it was the greatest thing that's ever happened to my life brother per it's never left me I've left it but he hasn't left me he's never disappointed me I've disappointed him but he's never disappointed me he has never left me when I turn my back on him he's kept on following me his rod and his staff they comforted me and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever I has got news for you brother Patterson preaching is not an occupation it's a Divine calling you got to share it I got to share it you can't tell me you're hooked on drugs without me telling you about the Holy Ghost you can't tell me your marriage is messed up without me telling you about the Holy Ghost you can't tell me about cancer without me telling you about the Holy Ghost it's more than enough it's Abundant Life and it is more he is more than enough he's more than enough God came to this earth to restore what was destroyed in the garden now I want you to watch this now I want you to watch this the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil was in the midst of the garden the tree of the knowledge the Tree of Life life was in the midst of the garden they were side by side brother Hammond now here it is your back needs to always be to the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil what we're not supposed to do or be I should always have my back to it but it's not just saying no to death that I'm interested in it's saying yes to life when I say no to sin I'm saying yes to Grace when I say no to Temptation I'm saying yes to God's power there's no way that you can have the Tree of Life facing the tree that you're not supposed to eat from you can't have life with your back to that you can't be focused on what you shouldn't have and what you shouldn't do and who you shouldn't be and expect God to make you something different in order for God to break your addiction in order for God to restore your body mind and soul and put Joy back in your heart and put peace back in your heart and cause you to wake up in the morning with vision and goal and drive and life you got to turn your back on what you shouldn't have and turn your face to life he will restore Joy he will God sent me here with a message this morning there are some of you that have given up on life you have given up on peace you have given up on Joy you have given up on restoration you are simply going through life enduring life life is a bummer to you and you just think this is the way it's going to be but God has sent you a 5 foot 7 in greeneyed preacher this morning to tell you that God wants to give you Joy and God wants to give you peace God first friend I'm not interested in him working on your marriage until he works on the man I'm not interested in him working on the marriage until he works on the woman but if I can get the man restored if I can get the woman restored oh friend I I feel the Holy Ghost right now God is going to restore some Joy God is going to restore some peace God is going to give you joy unspeakable you think you lost your life when you were in the 30s and now you're in your 50s God is going to turn it around but you got to get your back to this oh my God would you just just lift up your hands if you're thankful that you've got the Holy Ghost would you lift up your hands and shout unto the Lord right now woo hallelujah hallelujah God came to Earth to restore what was destroyed in the garden of EG Matthew 3 verse number n pay close attention to this close attention to this Matthew chapter 3 verse number n listen to John the Baptist who was the Forerunner of Jesus Christ John said and think not to say within yourselves Matthew 3:9 we have Abraham to our father I say unto you that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham and now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewed down and cast into the fire I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I come on somebody with some amens now he that cometh after me is mighti than I whose shoes I am not worthy to Bear he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost with fire but he first said you got to lay the axe not to the limb you got to lay a too many pruners in the house today a too many people trying to live for God they like the tree they just don't like the fruit I'm sorry the axe does not go to the to the limb it goes to the root of the tree he said the axe is laid to the root of the tree watch John talking about repentance repentance repentance is a change of mind repentance is a change of view repentance is a change of decisions repentance is a change of Direction repentance is a change of Lifestyle let me say it again repentance is a change of mind it is a change of view it is a change of decisions it is a change of Direction it is a change of lifestyle has any of you had this unpleasant thing happen to you you had a meal maybe it was a meal and to this day sorry for the personal personal examples but as a kid I love vanilla ice cream it just came out dipped in chocolate I loved it every chance I got I would I would I would get ice cream dipped in chocolate until one day I got that it didn't make me sick but I I got real sick after I ate it with some kind of flu bug I just a small kid to this day I got so sick and the last thing I ate was that vanilla dipped in chocolate to this day I don't eat that it just brings back horrible memories I just don't eat it to this day I just don't I just don't eat it vanilla Bring It On Jesus but dipped in chocolate no go for the bow okay I I I I'm I'm not I'm not doing it why because I relate my sickness to what I ate how sick I got I relate that to what I ate oh how I wish when it comes to repentance that we could really see that what has made us sick is sin it's sin that made us sick it's sin that put us in bondage it's sin that messed up our life and until we change our view of sin we're never going to come out of sin but if I can change my view of it I said I don't want that right there I don't care how good it looks I don't care how good you look eating it I don't want it it messed up my life folks I'm trying to preach this morning as a matter of fact as a matter of fact let me tell you something right now that's why people backslide is when what made them sick no longer makes them sick and they go right back and pick it up again it made them sick they got in the church they repented they gave it up they laid it down they turned their back on it but then all of a sudden the devil deceives them to get them to believe your problem is the church your problem is that Bible fuming preacher your B your problem is that judgmental bondage stuff that legalism that legalism stuff that's your little problem I wish you'd open up your eyes and understand that's the greatest blessing a preacher preaching to you is the greatest blessing of your life you can choose to cut his head off you can choose to silence his mouth but his message will live on you wouldn't know how to repent if it wasn't for a preacher you wouldn't know how to live if it wasn't for a preacher preaching the word just lift up your hands and praise him if if you're glad for the word come on if you're glad for the word today listen to me today please listen to me today stop patting yourself on the back we're good parents look at these good kids we raised you better stop patting yourself on the back you're a good parent because the word of God showed you how to be a good parent matter of fact the Bible says it's not even in man to direct his steps you don't even know how to walk if it wasn't for the word of God telling you so don't don't break your arm patting yourself on the back that you're a good parent you're a good parent because God's word told you how to be a good parent and we are not suffering from the things of gender identity that's in the world not because we're good parents but because God told us how to be good parents our children are not suffering from the things the Demonic perversion that is raping our children in the world today but our children have a hedge around them what is it the word of God it is the word of God that's a lamp and a light it is the word of God that helps my little boy know he's a boy it's the word of God that helps my little girl know she's a girl it's the word of God I'm not a pruner this morning I don't prune bushes I cut down trees the ax is laid at the root of the tree you see the purpose and the value of preaching the purpose and the value of preaching in musicians would you come right now the purpose and the value of preaching look at first thessal excuse me First Corinthians chapter number one and verse number 18 somebody say praise the Lord praise the Lord somebody say a hearty praise the Lord praise the Lord somebody say praise the Lord like you're appreciative that you know the truth this morning pra Lord God have mercy listen to the value of preaching listen to Paul in verse 18 for the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of God how could one thing be foolishness to one person but power to another it's all in how you look at it verse 19 for it is written I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of The Prudent where is the wise where is the Scribe where is the disputer of this world hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world for after that and the wisdom let me say let me say this this past week we fellowship with some people from around the world now we've been inundated in America that Co came from a lab in China okay that's what that's what we've heard it's it came from a lab in China talking to a a man from another country this week he said you know what we heard we heard that Co came from a chicken leg from America folks if I could ever preach to you this world doesn't have the answers I'm so glad I'm in the Church of the Living God so I'm so glad I'm in the church where is the wise where is the Scribe where is the disputer of this world hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world for after that in the wisdom of God the World by wisdom knew not God it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that Bel would you stand with me this morning and if you're glad today that you have life and that you have it more abundantly I want you to give God the greatest praise the greatest worship if you're glad you've got the Holy Ghost
