won't you give them some praise right now thank you Jesus aren't you glad that he never lost the battle I guess that means that we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus that loved us he'd never lost never lost the battle would you stand with me for the reading of the word of God tonight praise the Lord Church what a wonderful wonderful spirit of God that we're feeling tonight in this place and the presence of the Lord is here and you're here to receive from the Word of God tonight I coming out of the prayer room this evening that now the prayer room is the event center for time being such a beautiful sight and I called attention to sister carpenter and on toader I said that's such a beautiful sight we looked out the window saw families coming into the house of God and that's such a beautiful thing to see as families coming for midweek midweek midweek Bible study and I want to show you a little something before I read scripture you know we have been blessed here just about since the beginning of this church with brother Sean and sister Sandra Amin's their elders here at the church god bless their union god bless their marriage with three beautiful girls and we watched those girls grow up here in the church and we watched them married well the the Emmons had had girls they had they were blessed with with girls you know and in their first granddaughter Ainsley girl you know and it just looked like the Amin's family tree was going to be girls until Britain and Chris got married now Chris has taken Brittany up to Greenville where he goes to church and that's where they attend church but this week the tide turned with the Amazon let's talk about Chris in Brittany because that's irrelevant right which are my grandchildren a men in me I would come that red children that is kind of you know that's the utopia you know and so god bless the Amin's Brittany had twin boys and I think I've got a picture of them right here Huck Finn no Matt Matt Confed brother Emmons just tell all your family just so much congratulations to you all I I just this is just this is just beautiful and we must needs when Kovac gets clear and everything clear this is the interest on raising Brittany all right and we need the interest to come home and they they're just beautiful they're just beautiful isn't God good to us amen give your Bibles turn for just a moment to the Book of Luke the Book of Luke chapter 11 and verse number 1 and it came to pass that as he was praying in a certain place when he ceased one of his disciples said unto Him Lord teach us to pray what a request Lord teach us to pray as John also taught his disciples and he said unto them when ye pray say our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done as in heaven so in earth thy will be done thy will be done as in heaven so in earth Matthew 6 and 10 I want to read how Matthew phrases this Matthew says in 6 and 10 thy kingdom come Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven thy will be done thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven father I love you tonight thank you for the privilege of feeding your sheep Lord you said in your word that if I personally loved you that I would feed your sheep lord I thank you tonight for those that have gathered here ask your Lord to give me the ability to take your word planted into the minds and the hearts that we through this Bible study tonight we may grow closer to you we may be able to shine brighter as witnesses and we may be able to fight stronger as soldiers God I just ask you tonight to help us in Jesus mighty name we pray amen and amen before you see to give the Lord of the best hand clap you've given him all night gonna give him the best hand clap you give him all night glory to God glory to God glory to God amen you may be seated it's telling somebody this week about everything going on in our world and I made the statement to them I said there's a lot I don't know there's a lot that I don't know but what I do know is more powerful than what I don't know I don't know when this is going to end and I don't know exactly a lot of things that are taking place but I knew that know this I do know that he promised said he would never leave us I do know that he promised that he would never forsake us I do know that he said he would be with us till the end of the world if that be the case in whatever is going to come our way he's going to be right there with us aren't you thankful what you're thankful for that promise tonight as the church what is meant by the term thy will be done what exactly is meant in this prayer thy will be done on the earth as it is in heaven they were asked a question or he asked them a question he asked them I guess this means I'm about to preach up a storm here right amen yes they asked Lord teach us to pray what a request Lord teach us to pray he answered the request and he said when you pray and when you say our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven and my question tonight is exactly what is that what does the term mean thy will be done the answer is that the will of God of which so many people throughout their life will wonder am i am the will of God I want to be in the will of God I want the will of God well that's very good that we would all desire to be in the will of God that is a tremendous tremendous thing to desire to be in God's will for a number of reasons the will of God is the revealed and perfect purpose of God that has already been pre-planned by God in heaven it's a perfect life it is the most fulfilling life an individual could ever live it is alive that will be filled with purpose it is a life that will that is filled with meaning it has already by the mind of God that's higher than what we can think it's already been planned out for each one of us each one of us God has already planned out a perfect a perfect joyful meaningful life to live outside of the will of God is to sell yourself far far short of what God has planned for you it's to live far short of what your potential could be if you have a problem struggling with this tonight in Jeremiah chapter 1 verse number 5 God spoke to Jeremiah early in his life and God simply said these words in Jeremiah 1 in 5 God said before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before everybody said before and before thou camest forth out of thy mother's womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations so before Jeremiah was formed in his mother's womb and before Jeremiah stayed eight at nine months in his mother's womb it was born an infant God already had Jeremiah's life planned out he already had what who Jeremiah what he would do what he would be no doubt tonight God not only has Jeremiah's life planned out the church family God has each individual in this building God has your life planned out God has that perfect will of God you say well if it's the will of God it's automatically going to happen correct no that is not correct there are a lot of things that's God's will that never comes about it's on the blueprint board in heaven it's the perfect plan for our lives but you see God must have our permission God must have you and I aligning our lives with his perfect will just because it's God's will and just because there's all kinds of things planned for you in heaven does it mean we set idle and wait for it to come he said when you pray I want you to start off your prayer it's going to be a priority it's right after it's right after you give praise to my name it's right after that you recognize it that my name is Hollywood and there's not another name like mine it's right after that that you start by saying thy will be done o God on the earth as it is in heaven thy will God in other words I have to begin to align my life with what is in heaven I have to be able I have to be able to search the scripture and to understand what the will of God is and to begin to align my life to the will of God oh how many in this room tonight but just simply a waving of your hand which say I want to align my life I want to align my life I want to align my life with God well you see in mark excuse me in Matthew chapter 7 verse number 21 I want you to follow very closely here because the will of God in our lives has got to have is got to be more than lip service we've got to do more than just have a lip service to God listen to Matthew chapter 7 verse number 21 jesus said not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth notice this word here and you would find if you did a search if you did a scripture search for the will of God that you will find before the term will of God is the word do do if not saith not sayeth but the word doeth he said not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven many will say to me in that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils and in thy name done many wonderful works and then will I profess unto them I never knew you depart from me ye that work iniquity in other words this iniquity word iniquity here means you did not have the authority you did not have the proper authority to do these things depart from me you workers of iniquity you work that work iniquity therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them I will liken him unto a wise man which built his house upon a rock the rain descended and the flood came and the winds blew beat upon that house and it fell not for it was founded upon a rock and every one that heareth these sayings of mine and doeth them not shall be likened unto a foolish man which built his house upon the sand and the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell and great was the fall of it and it came to pass when Jesus said in to these sayings the people were astonished at his doctrine for he taught as one having Authority and not as a scribe you see Jesus began to tell us about the will of God the will of God is more than lip service the will of God is something that you do it is something that you do he said you can say all you want to but if all you do is say then you're building your life outside of my will and your life will come tongue leaned down to the ground when the rains and the storms come let's talk about the will of God tonight let's pinpoint in the Word of God exactly to where you can look at this and say this is the will of God from my life we need to have some exact things that we can nail down and walk away from here and a little bit and say it's the will of God this is the absolute will of God the first thing is found in 2nd Peter chapter 3 and verse number 9 the Lord is not slack concerning his promise that word slack their means delay the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness but is long-suffering to us-ward not willing I kiss this would involve the will of God not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance God is it is not God's will if you or I end up in the lake of fire we are out of God's will we are out of God's will Oh God will send me to hell no God doesn't send anyone to hell being outside of the will of God does that because God is not willing just understand that tonight the first will of God in your life is God is not willing that any would be lost God his will is for us all to come to salvation see there's no there's no sense in wandering among the will of God by being in maryville and my the will of God of having this job I'm in the will of God I am on the will of God by am I going to marry this person I'm on the will of God have I married this in all of this you see that's all irrelevant if you're not saved because the first will of God in your life is that you're saying that's the will of God it's a matter of fact that night before he went to the cross Luke 22 41 Luke 2241 says and Jesus and when he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast and knelt down and prayed saying father if thou be willing remove this cup from me nevertheless not my will but thine be done you are wonder tonight if we couldn't understand all that Jesus has done for us if we could kind of instead of always talking about him being God if we could understand that he was also human he was also human and he comes to that night as a matter of fact the Bible says once that he failed and that his sweat became his great drops of blood as anguish engulfed him and he failed and he prayed a prayer father if it's your will let this cup pass from me if you're willing what we have here we have the human will of Jesus we have that human will of Jesus and that human will didn't want to go to that cross but that human will understood something and just like our human wheels need to understand something everything of spiritual value comes with pain just because we start going uphill a little bit doesn't mean we're out of the will of God just because there's some times of sacrifice and sting and burn and loss doesn't mean somehow I'm outside of the will of God it may mean just the opposite if we're willing to stand back and say God not my will be done but God your will be done you realize today that we are drinking from a fountain of salvation because the man Christ Jesus it's not about my will it's about thy will be done should you just love the Lord with uplifted hands right now oh yes oh yes we were purchased oh my god come on let's just thank him right now thank you Jesus glory to God hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah let's go ahead and read a little bit more from John John chapter 1 and verse number John chapter 1 John chapter 1 verse number verse number 11 the Bible says John chapter 1 verse number 11 he came into his own and his own received him not but as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name notice verse 13 real closely which were born said it with me please which were born said again please so we're what he taught what are we talking about here we're talking about a birth aren't we we are talking about a birth which were born not of blood nor of the will or this is interesting now we're not only talking about a birth but now the word will enters into the picture which were born not of the wit not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God see we're born again not because you were born in a family your mom and dad serve God and you were in a bloodline can I tell you our mother and father salvation your pastor salvation or anybody else's salvation doesn't do you any good you cannot have a walk with God through somebody else's walk with God and he's trying to say to them because they boast and brag about being the sons of Abraham and he's saying it's not over will born a blood nor of the will of the flesh in other words you don't even will yourself say nor of the will of man but it is the will of God you know why we're born again because the perfect will of God in heaven is that we're born again that's the perfect will of God that we're born again as a matter of fact remember the word birth remember remember the word born which were born because in John chapter 3 verse number three through five it's interesting John chapter 3 verse three through five and I oh how I wish that everybody John 3:16 is a most wonderful scripture do you believe John 3:16 absolutely I believe John 3:16 but to utilize John 3:16 was spoken to the same man that John 3:3 through 5 was spoken to he did not understand the new birth and so the Lord had to keep taking him back to get on some common ground because it's like when when students enroll in ACA they go through a series of tests you know those tests are for to find out where their learning levels at because there's no sense in putting putting someone in a grade that they're not capable of performing because they're just going to struggle right so what happens we keep going through we find a level that they're on and then we start from we start from we start from they're not it now they may go they may go in to that grade but they may go in to some tutoring classes and they may go in until they can be brought up they can be brought up to that certain that certain level now Nicodemus was the same way he didn't understand New Birth he understand his benefit Jesus asked him several times how is it how is it how is it that you're a teacher in Israel you don't you don't know about this how is it that these things and he had to keep taking him back until he finally came to John 3:16 and he says for God so loved the world that He gave but before we get to John 3:16 listen with the word borne in mind John 3:3 through 5 jesus answered and said unto him which is Nicodemus verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born what again he cannot see the kingdom of God Nicodemus saith unto Him how can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born jesus answered verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born of water and of spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God you know you know sometimes we got to understand something in church and I'm really going to roll up my sleeves the next few months and and work hard at this we're not a denomination we're not of domination we're a Bible believing Church we're a Bible but I want the student section to understand something it's not like you drive down the highway and you've got Wendy's on one side and Burger King and chilies and Applebee's and all breezing Calhoun's and and it's just wherever I want to stop you might do that with your food but you can't do it with your walk with God you got to understand that you're where you're at because it's not just a flavor on the religious ice cream counter it is the word and the will of God we baptized in Jesus name because it is the will of God we believe people can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and talking tongues because it is the will of God so will of God born again not of the will of flesh nor of the will of man but morning in born again into a family born again into a family of God interesting thing happened to Jesus in Matthew chapter 12 verse number 46 Matthew chapter 12 verse 46 somebody say Amen thy will be done thy will be done on the earth as it is in heaven while he talked to the people while Jesus was talking to the people behold his mother and his brethren stood without desiring to speak with him now this is interesting this is interesting church this is interesting let's let's see the scenario okay Jesus is a teaching preaching and his mother Mary and his half-brothers is in the lobby and they get one of the greeters and they say go up there and show Jesus his mother and his brothers are out here wanting to talk to him that's really what was happening they came and they said your mother and your brothers desire to speak with you verse 47 then one said unto Him behold the greeter came up excuse me Jesus pardon me thy mother and thy brother stand in the lobby I don't just assist and without but you get what I'm trying to say desiring to speak with thee be the answered and said unto him that told him who is my mother who is my mother and who are my brethren and he stretched forth his hands toward his disciples and said Behold my mother and my brethren for whosoever shall do the will for whosoever shall do the will of my father which is in heaven the same is my brother and my sister and my mother you understand something I'm not dare advocating that once you get in the church you turn your back on your mother and father and your your family no no no no no there's ever been a time you need to stay connected with them it's now because God saves you so you can go back and talk to your mother and your father and your brothers so that they can get born again which is the will of God you got in the will of God now it's time for your mother to get in the will of God and stop your father to get into the will of God but what you got to understand what you got to understand is there's two families now that you belong to one natural one spiritual and the spiritual family is your most pleased I know I hear lately I've had to I say things and them and then people that they just take it and they just they just run with it you know I don't you know I don't know why they do that but they just run weather you know and and then but I believe that your spiritual family is the most important family you have I didn't say you ignore your natural family I didn't say you ignore your natural family but I'm saying when it comes to party your natural family is temporal your spiritual family is eternal your natural family will have an effect upon your life and naturally I'm not saying that you don't have to take care of your mother if she's aging or your father if he's aging or help your brother if he's unemployed and all that no no no please I want to I want to stop here I'm nailed tuns quiet right now all right but I'm saying that we need to understand the value of the family of God we need to understand the value Jesus they came and they say excuse me Jesus your mom your mother and your brothers out in the lobby won't talk to you he said lay man who is my mother and father who is my mother and my brothers he said but he that doeth the will of my father and then he said this is my family this is my family right here folks you got to understand something one of the key tools the devil uses to get you out of church is to give you a negative spirit about the church it's one of the greatest things you'd ever hands right here one of the greatest things we have is one another people of truth people of truth family of God family of God it's not only not only that none of my family change that's amazing none of my family changes but you can come to the church you can come to the church and maybe you don't even know your dad you don't even know your mother young senior siblings but you can come to the church and I think that's why we need to keep up and never let it be something that's old fogey i still believe in calling each other brother sister and if that bothers you out in public for somebody to come up and say praise the Lord brother then I suggest to you that you start laying a little bit more emphasis on your spiritual family none of that when I get in that when I get in the church notice it is the will of God for me to be saved and the will of God for me to be a part of the family it's also the will of God that that my lifestyle is affected my lifestyle is affected no there's no better scripture than first Thessalonians chapter 4 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 verse number one you know it's the order I'm doing this in don't you because there's no sense in talking about a lifestyle till we talk about salvation because you got to have salvation to alter your lifestyle and if your lifestyle is not being altered then you really don't have salvation or you don't have your salvation at work because your salvation will affect your lifestyle 1st Thessalonians 4 or 1 chapter 2 chapter 4 verse number 1 furthermore then we beseech you that means to be brethren and exhort you by the Lord Jesus that as ye have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God it sounds out to me that if you lived in the first century Apostolic Church and you attended the first century Apostolic Church that were pastors telling you after acts 2:38 they were telling you other things you needed to do to please God he says you received how that you ought to walk and to please God so you would abound more and more nothing watch this now he said we have taught you and when we taught you the the standard the standard we use the word standard and that's another thing I'm going to roll my sleeves up about is because somehow I think we have sent the wrong signal to the church about the word standard as if it's something optional no standard means entry-level when we start talking about a standard we mean you just this is this is what it takes entry-level and and what Paul is saying here he said we we taught you a standard entry-level but then you abounded a bow means to grow more and more you see it should be that what the pastor teaches as a standard that we just don't stay at entry level that we start looking and we trying to grow more and more not less and less cezzah that you ought to abound that means to grow more and more verse 2 for you know what Commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus for this is the will of God look at that this is the will of God even your sanctification word sanctification means separation that you should abstain from fornication so I don't have to pray about whether I ought to sleep with anyone well I mean this relationship of the carpenter and I'm praying about it you're not married your head pretty bad Oh help me Holy Ghost Oh help me holy go that you don't need to pray about it your half starts burning down you don't tell me it's how about harmony I want to know that the way to God I get out and get out man while are you crazy help me Jesus I've stayed sweet almost this the entire Bible study God come on there's some things you have to pray about I'm praying that line you had prayed that line quit I'm pretty much just no he said this is the will of God I'm not am I making this up so this is the will of God even your sanctification that you should have saved from fornication that means pornography that means me and boys looking at movies and magazines and lusted its fornication that's not the will of God that's not the will of God ladies that's books they fantasize about the perfect man and the perfect set rose and the perfect guide obvious other than you that's not the will of God it's not the will of God that you should abstain from fornication verse 4 let's if this gets better that every one of you that's just the choir members just a leadership that every one of you should know how to possess his but his vessel in sanctification and honor God's will is that you know something about your vessel your body in a day in a day when people are hung up and especially they want to feed this garbage to our youth it just matters what's in your heart baloney it starts in your heart but that's what the scripture means when it says work out your salvation that doesn't mean you get to choose what you do and don't it means you take what God put in your heart and you work it out to the to the to the outside you bring it out to the outside you know you've been filled with the Holy Ghost but you keep bringing it out to your actions to your words where you go what you do what you say until people begin to you need to know you need to know how to possess your vessel in sanctification and in honor not in the lust of concupiscence that means the the desire for sex come on we live in a sex-crazed world everything is sold by sensuality they don't have nuns sitting out on the hood of a car trying to get you to buy that car come on won't we wake up why don't we wake up to our culture what do we wake up that's a reason that's a reason her closer arranged the way they are there's a reason she's sitting there on that commercial with her leg and her thigh she didn't absent accidentally plopped down and heard her whole side of her thigh showing that was all prearranged before they shot the commercial why because they know that if they can get you stirred up about something you're a Mersenne stirred up about something you will think you're wanting that and you'll want the product and all of that come on church it's the will of God that we get an understanding of how the world right come on young man come on young man understand something job getting you a natural desire but that natural desire has to be of the right confines it has to be in the right perimeters of holy matrimony God wants to give you much more than a cheap little body on somebody God wants to give you a relationship that goes into our commitment let you live even as the Gentiles which know not God that no man go beyond and defraud his brother in anything because that the Lord is the Avenger of all such as he as we also must look at this closely as we also have forewarned you and testified a lot of Wednesday night Bible lessons is a forewarning it's a forewarning a lot of this so I it's a forewarning and it's a testimony the will of God verse 7 for God hath not called us to uncleanness but unto holiness God didn't call us to him cleanness he called us to a holiness lifestyle he therefore that despiseth this is interesting he therefore that despiseth despiseth not brother carpenter oh man oh man okay but I could put my name there because sometimes when you're teaching on holiness there's two subjects I call them the bookends that stir up the devil one God and holiness I've seen people get some man when I start teaching on one God they get so fidgety I've seen him just get third person I've seen them sit there just and after service I've had wives apologize and say I'm so sorry my husband's he's I don't know what was wrong him or not I know what was wrong with him tonight there's a subject the devil hates as a matter of fact he has to take a valium because the Bible says the devil believes in one God and begins to tremble oh he like for us to be dumb to that stuff he would like to he would like for us to think it's all in the word he he he would like for us to think Father Son Holy Ghost Jesus name we're all saying the same no we're not saying the same thing we are not saying the same thing there's only one person in the Godhead and this is the will of God there's only one person in the Godhead there's only one two two or two legged person in the Godhead and his name is Jesus it is the will of God Jesus is not in the Godhead he is not the second person of the Godhead for in here of the Godhead bodily that's a little dog that's the will of God the will of God in line with heaven may be seated I will be done and the every end that make people upset holiness now they don't used to upset with the word but when you start telling them what that word all look like because remember doing the will of God is more than saying your holiness you got to do something I sure do love y'all tonight y'all are good folks for God if not called us to uncleanness but unto holiness he therefore that despiseth despiseth not man get off get off get off your thing that you just it's just what Cartman said no Paul says you despise it's not man but God who had given also who had also given unto us His Holy Spirit it's in the Word of God well let's look at 1st John chapter 2 verse 15 y'all still with me tonight aren't you how many won't be in the will of God first you're on 2 and verse 7 and not the Gospel of John but the Epistle of John first John 2:15 love not the world neither the things that are in the world if any man love the world the love of the father is not in him for all that is in the world the lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but of the world the world pass up away that's what we refer to at a Funeral the world passeth away and the lust thereof but he that hears that word again he that what do it the abideth for ever little children it is the last time as and as you have heard that Antichrist shall come even now are there many antichrists whereby we know that it is the last time and what really should get us right here is this is 2,000 years old so if that was the last time this must be the last of the last of the last of the last time they went out from us when they went out from us but they were not of us for had they been of us they would not have they would no doubt have continued with us but they went out that they may be made manifest that they were not all of us Wow Wow see I'd like to keep everybody here oh it hurts oh it hurts when families oh it hurts when people pick up and leave oh yeah bill carbon I know it hurts the church it hurts the tithing it's hurting no no no no no you're silly it doesn't hurt the church it hurts that individual that's the one that hurts that's the one that's taking themselves out of the will of God out of the will of God and when they take themselves out of the will of God it becomes an evident sign that they were not of us see we're not just a group of people gathered here we are the end the will of God family of God that we love not the world that we love not the world you see that's why I do a lot of preaching because sometimes we flirt with the world and I saw this I saw this yesterday or today it says it was talking about men who are praying for the right woman to come in their life it just simply said you can't flirt with Jezebel and pray for Ruth you can't flirt with the world and have God too he said love not the world neither the things that are in the world what's in the world the lust of the eye the lust of the flesh and the pride of life he said it's not of the Father we don't need to lust after materialistic things it's all right when God gives it to us but I'm not going to spend my time lusting after them and I'm not going to spend my time always desiring a better suit to desiring more money and just hiring a bigger house and desiring another wife or whatever I'm going to spend my time loving God because this is the will of God this is the will of God this is the best life that there is to live is to see let me show us a pattern let me show us a pattern kind of tell you tonight Church pray for those that you see missing upon these pews pray for them because I do I call their names I ask God to visit them I call their names pray for them pray for him I wish we would keep everybody I wish we'd keep everybody and I'm not I'm not talking about there's these people that that move move out of state and move to another Church I'm not talking about that I'm talking about people that get offended at the word get offended at the word and that's a despising with a carpenter despising God and that never ends pretty Revelation chapter 17 I'll bring this to the end Revelation chapter 17 verse number 13 somebody say praise the Lord a will of God thy will be done o God on the earth as it already is in heaven talking about the end of time and groups of godless people coming together says in verse number 13 these it's godless against God and Israel and now they collapse and they're fighting against one another but here's the whole point of this tonight look at verse 17 for God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will and to agree and give their Kingdom unto the Beast until the until the words of God shall be fulfilled I want to look at that part again and God had put in their hearts to fulfill his will if God would move upon heathen people's hearts so that his will is obeyed how much more would God honor a man a woman or a young person that would simply say to God tonight thy will be done in me as it already is in heaven God I don't want to live a lesser life than what you've already ordained I'm telling every boy and every girl every young person every mom and dad under the sound of my voice
