and then first Corinthians chapter number 10 verse number eleven someone say praise the Lord for whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope through faith and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope 1st Corinthians chapter 10 verse number 11 now all these things happened unto them for examples and they are written everybody say they are written they are written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come father I ask you today to anoint your servant that I may speak the Word of God and that the Word of God would create faith in this room that God it would go to the ears to the heart to the mind to the actions of the people that God we walk by faith and not by sight and I pray today Lord that your word tells us that anything that is not faith is sin I pray today that we will walk in that faith in Jesus name I do pray amen you may be seated two verses of Scripture romans 15 and 4 and romans 10 and 11 that he just read give us the explanation of why we have the Old Testament gives us the explanation of why we have what's called the Old Testament says that the Old Testament was written for our learning for our learning that we through patience through patience and the hope of the scriptures patience and hope of the Scriptures we through patience and comfort and hope of the Scriptures they're written for our admonition there's there's three words that I want to take from these verses number one is patience and that word patience means the cheerful waiting the cheerful waiting not just waiting but cheerfully now I know that cheerful may mean something different to us today but cheerful in the Bible simply meant an attitude of confidence an attitude of confidence that God was going to make away he said the word patience and he said the word comfort and he said the word admonition he said the Old Testament has been written so that we would have it as a form of history that it would produce in us a cheerful patience that we would have confidence I want you to know today that God can be trusted God can be trusted even when we can't predict the outcome God can be trusted God can be trusted I want to preach for a few moments today and I want to use this as my title living our faith outloud living our faith outloud you see faith is something that has to be lived out loud true faith has never kept confined to your heart true faith is never confined to your closet true faith always has a public expression and I want to preach for a few moments today to live your faith out loud James spoke a little bit about faith in James chapter 2 and verse number 14 James says what does it profit my brother though a man say he have faith and half not works can faith save him and the answer to that is no if a brother or a sister be naked destitute of daily food and one of you say there's the keyword say unto Him depart in peace be warmed and filled notwithstanding you give them not those things which are needful to the body what does it profit in other words if someone says I have faith and some without works or without an expression or you have faith but it's never lived out loud he said it's like someone comes to you and says I'm hungry and you look back at him and say be filled or they come and they're naked and you say be clothed because you have said it doesn't make it so James says no even so faith verse 17 if it hath not works is dead being alone yea a man may say that's the key word thou has faith and I have works show me show show me that word show there means display it he says display your faith display your faith show me thy faith without that works I will show thee my faith by my works now believe us there is one God they'll do as well the devil's also believe in tremble but will thou know o vain man that faith without works is dead was not Abraham our Father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar see us now how faith wrought with works and by works was faith made perfect and the scripture was fulfilled which saith abraham believed god it was imputed or given unto him for righteousness and he was called the friend of God look at this connector here faith that is displayed and lived out loud causes us to be a friend of God how many wants to be that friend of God how many would like for God to call you a friend and you to call God a friend and he continued to read you see then how that by first works a man is justified and not by faith only life and wise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works when she had received the messengers and had sent them out another way here's the key verse 26 is the key verse for as the body without the Spirit is dead so faith without works is dead being alone so if only we have faith and there's no expression of that faith it is a dead faith making you only equal to Satan but when our faith is expressed when our faith has an expression then our faith becomes very productive I believe this morning especially this Sunday morning that I want to challenge the church those that are here and those that are watching by way of the web I want to challenge us all as your pastor it's time to turn up the volume of your faith it's time to turn the volume of your faith up you see in 1st Corinthians chapter 14 verses verse 10 listen to what Paul says in 1st Corinthians 14 and 10 there are it may be so many kinds of voices in though in the world and none of them is without significant so Paul says in though that we're living there's so many kinds of voices there's all these voices in the world today Isaiah the prophet and Isaiah 66 and verse number six and I'm just going to use this as at just a reference point it is Isaiah 66 verse 6 and that would be 666 and I believe that we're living closer today to the end of time the rapture the church and the mark of the beast than ever before and I believe this verse of scripture this verse of scripture can tie into it because it says a voice of noise from the city notice a voice of noise from the city a voice from the temple a voice of the Lord that render it recompense to his enemy three voices three voices a voice of noise from the city a voice from the temple and the voice of the Lord notice that from the city or the world is a voice of noise there's no clarity to it it's just noise it's a voice of noise from the city it's a voice of noise from the world but there's a voice singular that comes from the temple if there's ever been a day that the church needs to rise and shine it's faith to God it's now if we've ever had a day that we need a spiritual noise reduction in the church it's today if we can have automobiles that are equipped with noise reduction if we can have headphones that are equipped with noise reduction so that we can hear only what we want to hear may God give us today in the Apostolic Church a noise reduction from what's coming in outside the city because our faith needs to be louder than the voice of noise from the city can I get an amen right now we need to turn up the volume of our faith we need to turn the volume of our faith up this morning and there's no greater analogy than Daniel chapter 3 verse number one it's the familiar story of the three Hebrew children that came to a time that they had to turn up their faith the Bible says that Nebuchadnezzar II verse 1 chapter 3 Nebuchadnezzar the King made an image of gold whose height was threescore cubits and the breadth thereof six cubits ninety feet tall and nine feet wide he set this up in the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon now there's a little bit of an interest here because in Chapter two Nebuchadnezzar had been given a dream from God about a great image that represented all the kingdoms of the world we don't know if Nebuchadnezzar erected this 90-foot tall tower image 90 feet tall of gold nine feet wide and he placed it here and when he placed it here Nebuchadnezzar in verse number two the king sent to gather together the princes the governors the captains the judges the treasurers the counselors the sheriffs and all the rulers of the provinces to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the King had set up so now he has an image and he not only has an image he's got all the branches of the government behind him he controls it all sheriff's counselors all he controls all the branches of the government there verse 3 then the princes the governors captains judges treasurer's councilors sheriffs and all the rulers of the province were gathered together under the dedication of the image that nebuchadnezzar the king had set up and they stood before the image that nebuchadnezzar had set up then and harold cried aloud now a herald is one that simply is a voice of news he's a voice of news so now the herald the voice of news comes and he cried aloud notice the word aloud the voice of the news is loud to you it is commanded Oh people nations and languages that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet flute harp sackbut psaltery decimal and all kinds of music you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the King has set up now what were my two opening scriptures that the Old Testament is written for our learning it's written for our learning so now we have Daniel chapter three to learn something today how many is interested in learning something today we have something here we have an image we have a godless King we have a Herald we have news that's saying that there's going to be all the different sounds of music all these different music cornet flute harp sackbut psaltery decimal and then it just simply says all kinds of music sounds like it was going to be loud around it around there so light it's going to be a loud thing because after all the news was loud he cried with a loud voice all the music is loud he says when you hear the music all the kinds of music he shall fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up and who serve a follow up not down and worship a--the shall the same hour because into the midst of a burning fiery furnace now let's look at this now we got the image 90 feet tall 9 foot wide we've got the king saying we're going to dedicate it we've got all kinds of music that you know it's time to fall down and worship the image when you hear all this loud music and when you hear the loud Harold you hear the loud news telling you that you're to bow down and worship this and then he says if you don't if you don't conform if you don't obey and conform and do what the image and the music says then that same hour you will be taken and you will be cast into the fiery furnace now we come to the part of the story that affects us because our Old Testament family is the Bible calls it our Old Testament brothers and sisters three of them which I will preach about today Shadrach Meshach and Abednego you see there's one thing about hard times that faith is good but faith becomes better when you have somebody else to walk it with you see the three Hebrew children have the comfort of having one another there's one of the things the enemy always tries to do it's his first prying at us he knows that we are much easier to pray if he can pry us apart from somebody from from the home he is much easier if he can get you all alone see there's only one time God said in creation that it wasn't good he said everything was good good was the key word but there was one time he looked down and saw and he said it's not good and that's when it's not good for man to be alone I want you to know today but I'm thankful to have brothers and sisters to have faith with this morning I'm glad today to have brothers and sisters makes it a little bit easier to stand when you got some other people of faith they're standing around you're saying let's live for God so Shadrach and meshach of the men to go enter this story and of course you know what happened they were taught their first commandment was you never bow to any Idol and worship anything other than God and so when all the music started playing Shadrach Meshach and Abednego turned their faith up they just turned their faith up because they could think they needed a noise reduction they just need to turn their faith up just a little bit I believe today that our answer in this room is we need to turn our faith up just a little bit we need to stop being so motivated from what we hear of which it's debatable are we getting facts or not I can't tell you that any of the news we're getting is factual I can't tell you yes or no if it's motivationally and motivated or it's politically motivated or not but I can't tell you one thing this book is true faith in God is right so I'm not gonna spend my time I'm not gonna spend my time trying to find out which news network is accurate and watch exactly accurate and what's not I'm gonna spend my time standing on this book and saying I know the news is loud but I think it's time to turn up our faith in God let's turn our faith up in God so now now they won't bow they hear all the loud Herald they hear the loud music and they won't bow and they get the attention of those that are bowing can I tell you something you'll always be an irritant to those who have bowed don't ever think you're going to get the approval of those that are bad that have bowed because as long as you keep standing you are a testimony to them that they never should about sheep bat chief keeps standing Church turn your faith up and keep standing there's no there's listen there's no change of available office that's going to stop the Church of the Living God let them threaten all they want to threaten God's church has always it suffered the Lions of Nero it's been through the dark ages and the Church of the Living God is going to prevail because it's the church turn your faith up turn your paper and so those that had bowed went to the king and told the king that there were those that were not obeying and so the king called in verse number 14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them is it true ohshe a Drac Miche I could have been to go do not ye serve my God's nor worship the golden image which I have set up now if you'd be ready that at what time you hear the sound of the cornet flute harp sackbut psaltery and dulcimer and all kinds of music you fall down and worship the image which I have made well but if ye worship not ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of the burning fire a furnace and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands now now I got me a note here and I'm gonna preach you know even the world to give you a second chance even the world to give you a second chance Nebuchadnezzar said you don't want it boys I'm gonna give you all second chance maybe there was a little communicational problem here and and I'm gonna give you a little second chance and if you just go ahead and bow down well things will be well with you if you'll just bow down but if not who is that God No why is this story given to us for our learning who is this God then verse 16 Shadrach Meshach and Abednego answered and said unto the king o Nebuchadnezzar we are not careful to answer them this matter now the way the King James puts it out it's almost like their careless no they're not careless it's the opposite they said this is a well thought out answer we've given you you see many of us need to make up our minds what we're going to do before the trouble comes it's a whole lot easier to make up your mind what you're going to do before trouble comes then try to make up your mind what you're going to do in the middle of your trouble you see if I make up in my mind when I'm on the mountain and I look to the next mountain and I got to go through the valley I make up my mind don't top this mountain I'm gonna go through the valley I don't need to get in the valley and decide what I'm going to do in the valley I'm going to go all the way through the valley in other words they said we've already made up our minds what we're going to do we've already made up our minds if it be so our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace and he will deliver us out of that hand O king but if not being known under the O king that we will not serve by gods nor worship the golden image which thou has set up look at that faith there they said now we've already made up our minds that we're not going bow to this image I've already made up my mind that I'm not bowing now God is able to deliver us out of the burning fiery furnace but if not but if not let it be known that we will not bow to your image we will not conform to what you're telling us to conform Church hear me today turn up your faith let's not be overcome by the world in which we live it's time to turn up the faith be it known be it known God is greater be it known when we can't predict the outcome I still trust in you God I still trust in the hand of God when I don't know because of the night I still trust that the morning is going to come if it's a resurrection I trust if it's a burial I trust notice this verse 19 then was nebuchadnezzar full of fury and the form of his vigeous was chain of the words his facial expression changed against Shadrach Meshach and Abednego therefore he spake and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wrought to be heated and he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach Meshach could have been to go and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace then these men were bound in their coats their hosen their hats and their other garments I guess he was getting ready to just burn everything they had I mean they would just burn everything we're just gonna we're just gonna get rid go clean your closet out meshach Shadrach and Abednego because we're gonna burn your burn everything you got of every everything that you've got we're gonna we're gonna burn it their hos their their hats their clothes their closets these men were bound in their coats hosing hats and other garments and we're cast into the midst of the fiery furnace now I'm going to look at something now therefore because the Kings commandment was urgent and the fiery furnace exceeding hot the flame of the fire slew those men that took Shadrach Meshach and Abednego now know a minute let's get this rocket they were being escorted because no one voluntarily walks to the electric chair no one in history voluntarily walked to the gallows you had to be if you had to be escorted you had to be you had to be prodded along by the body by the authorities so the authorities here were men of Babylon they were men of Babylon and they were escorting Shadrach Meshach could have been to go up in to the furnace to a little plank way that went up and drop them off into the furnace but as Shadrach Meshach and Abednego were being escorted up the plain the fire was so hot that the men escorting them it slew them it overcome them and they perished why not make a run for it Shadrach Meshach I could have been to go what a great time to exit what a great time to make a run for it those that are taking us up into the furnace they died what a great time to to make a run for it they didn't do it they walked into the furnace they walked into that furnace now what is your point here today can I tell you that whatever we're going to go through we can confidently walk through it knowing that our God is able to deliver us the key here in this hour that the church is turn up your faith and keep walking forward we don't need to go back we don't need to lose spiritual ground we need to walk forward because my testimony isn't that I almost got through in the fire my testimony is someone is waiting on me in the fire can you say man Oh hallelujah they walked into the fire they walked in verse 22 therefore because the Kings commandment was urgent and the furnace exceeding that hot the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach Meshach and Abednego and these three men Shadrach Meshach and Abednego fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace then nebuchadnezzar the king was a star a stoned astonished and rose up in haste and spake something blew the Kings mind something absolutely blew the Kings mind let me stop here for a moment because I want a minister is somebody today I don't care how hot the furnace gets keep walking keep going forward I don't care how hot this gets still keep believing in God I don't care what happens around us keep believing in God the first Apostolic Church of the first century had to witness they had to witness several people apostles in prison but they didn't stop preaching because James got beheaded they didn't stop preaching because John was in prison they didn't stop praying because Peter was arrested they didn't stop praying and going forward because persecution came upon the church it is not time for the church to be put on autopilot it is not time for our personal walk with God to hunker down until the storm passes over it's time for us to put one foot in front of the other and it's time for us to march on through come on turn up your faith with me today the news is loud the reports are loud but God is stronger turn up your faith it's not time to go back it's not time to batten down the hatches and wait for the storm to pass over its a beautiful background for God to display his awesome power to us the king comes down and the king is astonished he's amazed he's baffled and he spake and said unto the counselors did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire they answered it said unto the king true Oh King he answered and said lo I see four men loose walking in the midst of the fire and they have no hurt and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God you see the world will never see the fourth man until they first have a church that's willing to turn up the volume the world needs to see the church at its finest hour they need to see the church at the peak of its praise we are not a beat down be haggled widowed head we are a glorious pride of Jesus Christ we are filled with Holy Ghost power we have got the name that stops every demon it is a great day for healing it is a great day from miracles it is a great day for God to display come a worship him right now come on worship Him with me right now hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh the world wants to be louder that's why we're gonna have to battle our praise because we can learn everything loud around us but our praise but they have ever been a day that our praise needs to be louder than the news it's today he's real or he's a protector he's the waymaker he's which was which yes and is the cab he was before covet he's dearie Calvin and praise God he'll be after Tobit let's give Him glory right now hallelujah I see the fourth man and then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace inspect and said unto Shadrach Meshach and Abednego you servants of the Most High God come forth and come hither then Shadrach Meshach and Abednego came forth out of the midst of the fire and the princes and the governors and the captains and the Kings counselors and the gather together and saw these men but wait a minute somebody's missing here something's missing here can I tell you what's missing the noise can I tell you what's missing you don't find the noise anymore you don't find the cornet the flute the harp the sack but the psaltery the decima you don't find that anymore why because three boys faith in God put him out of business you don't find the herald anymore you don't find the music anymore because three young men's faith in God has put them out of business their faith became the louder than the noise it was in the world it's a lot of noise there's a lot of noise going on these captains counselors gathered together saw these men upon whose body the fire had no power nor was I hair please watch this please look at this nor was a hair of their head is singed neither neither wear their coats changed nor the smell of fire had passed upon them you know I see a lot of people go through things and after they went through them they smelled like they've been through it they look like they had been through it but all when you cut turn up your faith you can go through things and not even the smell of it your support they said get them all their clothes are still intact look at them there's not a hair of their head that sins look at him what and they don't even smell like they've been through it too many people have got the smell of what they went through 20 years ago still on they got the look of what they went through 20 years ago still on them turn up your faith it's time that a world sees that you've been through some things but they understand that you come through with the joy of the Lord upon you you come through of a smile you come through with a hallelujah you come through with a please not even the smell the fire was upon them then Nebuchadnezzar spake and said blessed be the god of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego who has sent his angel and delivered his servants that trusted in him and it changed the Kings word and yielded their bodies that they may not serve nor worship any God except their own God therefore I make a decree that every people nation language which speak anything amidst against the god of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego shall be cut in pieces and their houses shall be made a dunghill because there is no other god that can deliver after this sort then the king promoted Howie some I'd say promoted how is somebody say promoted I was somebody in the midst of this loud news in the midst of this all kinds of noise coming I wish somebody could just say healer why maker problem-solver that's who he is genitalia promotions chairman the promotion doesn't come to the quitters promotion chance to them that turn up for fame oh you gotta help me this morning heal emotional bahasa Oh way maker miracle worker a promise keeper that is who you are even when I change me limb your word even when I change hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah turn even when I can't see him he's working can I preach a little bit longer this morning oh if I would have thought about it if I would have thought about it come on musicians if I would have thought about it I'd have got me a great big old bag of knobs that represent volume and I to give every one of you today a knob and you could take it home and just turn up your volume turn up your value put it on your keychain you just turn up your volume just turn up your volume when you when you hear that things you hear the news just turn up the volume just reach down and turn up the volume when you're watching news this week and they start telling you this and that just say no that that might that might be that might be what you say but the final say is when I turn up the volume even when I can't see him he's working because I don't cross swords of thing about it I don't cross swords of anybody but you studied out you stayed out Shadrach Meshach and Abednego didn't say they'd seen the fourth man you'll be hard-pressed to find where Shadrach Meshach and Abednego saw him the only one that saw him was the world I've got just enough proof to stand here today and tell you that when Shadrach Meshach and Abednego were walking up the plane and the men were falling dead that they walked on in and when they fail in the only thing that was consumed was what was binding see what we need to have happening and we need to turn up our faith until the only thing burns off of us is what's trying to restrict us tomorrow can I get a witness today can I get a witness state is there anybody in this room today that this past week has failed a restraining trying to turn they fall into the furnace and what was bound he's burned off of there and then began to walk to the fiery furnace begin to walk until the King sees something that alters his faith when the King sees something that alters his faith he calls Shadrach Meshach and Abednego out the Lord I want you to see this today the Lord I want you to see this day it's a cycle you hear me it's a cycle we all go through this cycle promotion furnace promotion promotion furnace promotion would you say that with promotion said again here's my proof of it look at the last verse of chapter 2 and I didn't give that I didn't give the media of this but would you give me Daniel would you give me Daniel chapter 2 verse 49 Daniel chapter 2 verse number 49 it is the last verse in the second chapter Daniel Daniel 2 49 then Daniel requested of the king and he said Shadrach Meshach and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon and he said so they were purposes of promotion chapter 2 ends with Shadrach Meshach and Abednego being promoted chapter 3 chapter 3 we have the fiery furnace chapter 3 we have the fiery furnace and the last burst of chapter 3 daniel 330 daniel 3 of 30 then the king promoted Shadrach Meshach and Abednego in the province about can I tell you what I'm looking forward to that I'm looking for my next promotion I know we're in the midst of the fire right now I know the music's loud I know the news is loud I know things are crazy I know we're being trying to be restricted I'm in the midst of my furnace but can I tell you I'm waiting all my next promotion man next faithlyn harder it Stanley today faith in God faith in God faith in God he cursed the fig tree the next morning the fig tree had already dried up and fell over exposing the roots peter draws attention to Jesus and says Lord the fig tree how soon it's withered and jesus answered him this simple statement have faith in God there are things that we can't understand and we can't explain and we may never be able to explain them but have faith in God have faith in God would you listen to me recluse Lee it's my last verse or verses mark 16:15 he said unto them which would be the church go in all the world and preach the gospel to every creature he meant believeth and is baptized shall be saved he that believeth not shall be damned these sons shall follow them that believe these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they shall cast out Devils they shall speak with new tongues they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them they shall lay their hands upon the sick and the Six shall recover so then after the Lord had spoken unto them he was received up into heaven and set on the right hand of God they went forth and preached everywhere the Lord working with them confirming the word with signs following Amen I want you to know what your pastor stands because I'm turning up the volume sure we're gonna do everything we came possible to assure that we keep ourselves safe from covent or any other cities but can I tell you we can never let anything come our way that causes us not to be able to operate scriptures he said your test out Devils so evidently think it not strange when we run into Devils he said as you go preach on the gospel you're going to run into Devils he said cast him out he said when you go you're gonna run into sick people he said lay hands on a trayful let's go it's getting real quiet now mighty God if we could get people as motivated about the Bible as they are the news you mean to tell me that the Great God of heaven the God that can keep shot right Meshach and Abednego in the fire all because of the commandment not to bow that that same God can't back us up in 2020 and we can remain the Church of the Living God oh but you don't know this and you don't know that let me say this thing I asked my wife this morning I wanted to make sure but you know one of the aids aids it came out years ago aids and it was a lot of information about AIDS that that that you could catch aids by touching someone you could you could catch aids about by different means and of course a lot of what was what was given at that time was not true what it was not true but I received a phone call from a man who was dying with AIDS he was dying with AIDS he called our home and he said Reverend carpenter he said I have lived a sinful lifestyle and I I have AIDS and he said I know the error of my way he was truly repented and he said but I don't want to die I don't want to die and he said I have called several ministers in town to pray for me and said none of them will lay hands on me and pray for me and I said sir I'll pray for you I'll pray for you now it was in the day of the ignorance it was in the day that we were being told at that time that you could touch somebody with AIDS you could you could touch them you could get in but and I'm nothing to be I don't put me up on a pedestal today don't took me up on a passionately I just like this book you mean God would tell us to do something and then turn around and put an exception or a clause to it and say oh except that oh I should keep you safe oh it's set from that I gave the man that address to our home he came to our home I noted him with oil in our living room and I pray for it to be healed and to my knowledge the man still alive today can I can I check now you see if we're not on the right frequency faith can look foolish if you're not on the right frequency you know that's that's very foolish what he's teaching today is very very foolish that's foolish to lay our hands on someone that's got covet that's very that's very foolish to do that it is if you're not on the right frequency it's very foolish to say that God said let there be light and there was life it's very foolish to believe that a whale swallowed a man kicked him alive three days to be very foolish but when you mention with faith and believe that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above oh that we can faith endures come on church let's turn our faith is even when I can't sing peace would you sing that for me today when you
