you have your Bibles will join me in First Peter chapter number 3 and verse 15. so good I've heard someone said brother Keith trollope was here and brother Keith God bless you tonight I want to hug your neck before you you get out of here this evening you know it's so great to see these kids grow up in the church and and see them living for God serving God and and Keith it was so good to have you back home tonight he lives in Virginia so good to see him back home tonight and and for a couple weeks now they've been telling me sister Brittany Harvey's been at church and I got to go back and hug her neck and Britney's just like she's just like a daughter to brother and sister Carpenter and we we love her so much and so good to have the snowbirds uh the zeanders back home and and good I think it's going to get warming up we're going to keep them and it's always it's always good it's never good to see them leave but it's always good to see them come home and I'm thankful I'm so thankful for that I've got the coming of the Lord on my mind I've got the coming of the Lord on my mind and God is doing something at fac God is doing something and uh I've told god um I want to be a part of whatever God's doing don't you don't wouldn't you just like to put your hand up say God I'm in God Count Me In Lord what whatever you're doing God just go ahead and uh I could make a rhyme and say count brother Ken in I mean I want I I want to be I want to be in this coming Sunday night I'm going to start a series I really don't know if I've ever done a series on a Sunday night I want to start a series on end time end time prophecy and we're going to be giving you the timeline of Prophecy because the Lord is coming again the Lord is coming and coming again and that'll be this coming Sunday night and I think it's kind of maybe going to start tonight First Peter chapter 3 and verse 15. First Peter chapter 3 verse 15. but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear it's very simple title tonight very simple title you'll understand it more in just a moment but I simply am going to teach tonight on one God one God father I love you tonight God I thank you for the wonderful presence of prayer thank you Lord for the wonderful presence of worship and Lord now the word is going forth God we are made strongers and Overcomers God by your word and I pray tonight Lord that you would anoint your servant that I could feed your people Lord I'll give you the praise and the honor God I want to be in on whatever you're doing God I want to be ready for that Rapture of the church in Jesus name we pray amen and amen you may be seated call me old-fashioned if you like call me old-fashioned if you like but um I always stay with the King James version of the Bible I I uh I think it's it's one of the best versions that uh that that scripture is presented in the light that it should be um I know there's other translations and there's other versions and I'm not I'm not knocking anybody that uses them uh occasionally I I have other versions of the Bible um that I will go to and look at scripture um that how they how the wording is the thing you have to be careful with different versions of the Bible is they're taking out words they're taking out words for example one version uh that's out now says God gave his one of a kind only son and uh well the Bible says he gave his only begotten son his only begotten and that's that's very important that we understand that the man Christ Jesus was was begotten we'll read a different translation here of the same first Peter 3 15 but it just kind of gives it a little bit different light it says in verse 15 but give reverent honor in your hearts to the anointed one and treat him as the holy master of your lives and if anyone ask about the Hope living within you always be ready to explain your faith always be ready to explain your faith ask you a question tonight I hope it prompts you to think can you explain your faith I know that we can tell them where the church is at but can we explain our faith I I know sometimes we can tell you what it takes to be in the choir but can we explain can we explain our faith to people that are asking we have to remember that we Are Witnesses in this world that God's desire is for us to witness and be able to explain our faith when people ask us about the faith about the hope that is within us that we can explain Church it is the will of God and the desire of God in the closing hours of this church age the closing hours of this church age as a matter of fact I believe that there's a sense of urgency that God is yearning to find people God is yearning to find people in his body that desires to discipline and to study the word to where that we can that we can explain our faith we can explain what we believe because there's a world that's asking us about our faith there's a world there's a community that's asking us about our faith Maryville and Alcoa this region that we are responsible for being the light to Maryville Alcoa Louisville Greenback Townsend the surrounding little communities that we are responsible for for them to hear the truth we find ourselves in this Maryville Alcoa area that it is very religious we are in an extremely religious County some say this that the south is the Bible Belt I tell people all over the country I do not Pastor in the Bible Belt I Pastor in the Bible built Buckle all right we're in the belt buckle you cannot find any lost people in this County no one is going to tell you that they are lost there are thousands of sincere God-fearing people who worship and serve God as presented to them by religious leaders who themselves are sincere there's a lot of sincere godly people they're they're they are as sincere as you could ever be but yet many of them thousands of them have fallen into the Trap of listening to religion and religion does two things to the Bible religion does not take you far enough or religion takes the Bible and twist it to fit their tradition their tradition religion there are religions today in our County many sincere God-fearing people believe they believe what's been told but what was told them is not enough I'm reminded of Acts 19 and verse number 2 where Paul ran into Disciples of John and Paul said have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed and they said unto Paul we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost they hadn't heard about this in our County there's thousands of people that have never heard that you can receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost they've never heard that you could receive it they've never had somebody take them to Acts 2 acts 8 acts 10 acts 19. they've never had somebody open up their Bible they simply said on a Pew and listened to a religious man say once you believe you automatically receive the Holy Ghost that's religion's error that teaches that once you believe Upon Jesus Christ that you have automatically received the baptism of the Holy Ghost if that statement would be true Paul asked a most absurd question in Acts 19 when he came and found disciples and asked them have you received the Holy Ghost since you believe there are those that have fallen in the Trap of religion and really religion doesn't take them far enough or there are those if you would join me in second Peter chapter 3 and verse number 15 listen to Peter talking about Paul's writings in second Peter 3 and verse number 15. it simply says an account that the long-suffering of Our Lord is salvation even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given among given unto him had written unto you as also verse 16 as also in all his Epistles speaking in them of these things in which are some things hard to be understood which they that are unlearned and unstable rest rest now that's not rest r-e-s-t that's w-r-e-s-t and I'll explain what that means they rest unstable and the and unstable rest as they do also the other scriptures unto their own destruction this word rest here w-r-e-s-t is has a reference to a form of punishment when they were trying to get the truth out of an individual or they were trying to get a confession or they were trying to get an individual to say a certain thing they would take their feet and they would put them in a stable position and they would tie their hands with pulleys and they would rest or rack that individual across boards and they would stretch stretch that individual with these pulleys it was a form of torture torture stretching and stretching and stretching until the one being tortured would give a confession or the one being tortured as history would say would simply say what those that were torturing him wanted them to say and Peter uses this analogy of a group of people that would stretch and stretch and stretch and stretch the scripture until it finally says what they want it to say they take the scripture out of content text they take scripture that's saying one certain thing and they put it over here in another join me in second Timothy 2 15 for a moment tells us how that we need how we need to interpret the scripture in second Timothy 2 15 it simply says study to show thyself approved unto God a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of Truth when we are preaching the word we are building something when we are preaching the word we are building something that must withstand time it must withstand The Winds of culture it must withstand the Demonic Winds of hell when we are building our lives spiritually we must rightly divide the word of Truth the things that go into Foundation need to go into Foundation the things that go in the walls in the walls you certainly you certainly don't need sheetrock for a foundation sheetrock does it make good foundations it may make good wall dividers but it makes lousy foundation and Paul is saying to the man of God when you're building with the word of God study to show yourself approved a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed some of the builders in this church that are here tonight know and understand on their building job site that their truck will pull up and it is the building inspector and that inspector is going to make sure the Footers dig deep enough the inspector is going to make sure the plumbing the electric and the list goes on and on but I'm telling all of us something tonight there will be one day that we're going to stand before the building and structure inspector and we are going to give an account and I'm going to tell you shame doesn't need to be anywhere around on that day we need to study somebody say study we need to study to show ourselves approved a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of Truth you've heard me tell the story about the unfortunate man that would always seek guidance from God and he would hold his Bible brother volantine he had told his Bible and he needed guidance from God he'd hold his Bible on the end let it fall open wherever it was where it would fall open he would close his eyes and put his finger down and wherever his finger would lie there he would somehow make sense of that and feel that was how God was directing him and one day he needed Direction so he did that foolish gesture close his eyes put his finger down on the passage of scripture it fell upon the gospel that said Judas went out and hanged himself he thought well I certainly don't want that and so he closed his Bible back closed his eyes opened his Bible back up put his finger back it landed over in one of the Epistles and uh the epistle said and you go and do likewise well we understand that's a horrible gross uh misapplication of scripture Paul in Acts chapter 17. in verse number 22. Paul stands in Maryville and Alcoa Paul stands in Greenback Paul stands in the Bible it could be called the idle belt of Paul's day Paul stands in Acts 17 22. at a place called Mars Hill that's littered with all kinds of idols and people worshiping the Bible said then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said you men of Athens I perceived it in all things you are too superstitious or that word there is religious he said I perceive I'm standing in a religious atmosphere here I I see that I'm standing in the midst of a bunch of religion for as I pass by and beheld your devotions I found an altar with this inscription to the unknown God whom therefore ye ignorantly worship Him declare I unto you Paul stood in the midst of that religion and he said the best place I'm going to start is where you're worshiping Paul didn't say they wouldn't worshiping Paul said they're ignorantly worshiping that Paul found a place to start I personally believe the place to witness in our Bible belt buckle if you're ever going to be if you're ever going to be effective of bringing people to the knowledge of the word of God it's not the shout that you need to explain and it is not even necessarily the tongues that you need to explain but you have to become a student of being able to explain one God because if one God is not right nothing else fits in this puzzle if one God isn't right now we're going to teach tonight on one God we're going to teach tonight on one God and I I pray you take notes I pray that you that you listen because one of the things are going to come up they're going to say about fac of Maryville they're going to say y'all don't believe the trinity and they are correct they are they're absolutely correct we don't believe that there are that the Bible teaches there are three separate co-equal co-eternal persons that make up the godhead that came about in the second third and fourth Century under the Catholic church but we do believe in the father and we do believe in the son and we do believe in the Holy Ghost and if we're going to affect our community if we're going to affect our community with Bible truth we're going to have to be able to take the word of God and show that there is only one God there is only one God so let's start with one God if I'm going to reach my community here I need to start with one God Deuteronomy 6 and 4. hear o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord as you look at this one verse here you start off with the word here here hearken you know you can never teach what you have not first heard so in order to be able to know something you've got to discipline your ear to hear something so the first word of this commandment is here the next word is a one-letter word with simply oh now this word this o is there for emphasis this word is there to emphasize what a precious truth Israel has in the midst of multiple Canaanite pagan gods I Want My People Israel to know hear o Israel that word o there is is is like putting your emotions to this it's like putting your emotions to something it's like the song we we sing the song oh how I love him oh how I want to see him you could sing that song and drop that letter O and just simply say I love him I want to see him but there is a burning desire deep down in our hearts that we just don't say I love him we say oh I love him or oh I want to see him the re the the writer of Deuteronomy 6 and 4 said here o Israel this is something of great importance you're going to take up residence in the land of Canaan and there are multiple Canaanite gods that are all around you but I want you to know Israel to you the Lord our God is one he's not two four six three or twelve the god that we serve is one Lord let's give him a hand of Praise right now he is one Lord sometime later in the Book of Mark the gospel of Mark chapter 12 and verse number 29. Jesus asked about which is the great commandment which is the first commandment Jesus answers and said unto him the first everybody say the first the first of all the Commandments is hear o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord why is this the first commandment why is this the first commandment because if you don't get this commandment right it doesn't matter the rest of the Commandments they will not fall into place you've got to have this commandment right Matthew 22 38 he says this is the first and the great commandment here o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord Malachi chapter 2 verse 10. of course God's commandment went unheeded by Israel it went unheeded by Israel on many times Israel joined himself to idols now you'll never find where Israel said they forsook the Lord but Israel enjoining other idols in God's eyes they had forsaken him because God gave the command Israel the Lord your God is only one and so Israel joined himself to many many idols and God would come and God would reason with Israel Malachi 2 10 is one of the reasons now now you've got to understand that the background of this scripture God is speaking to his people who have chosen more Gods than he he's speaking to them and here's here's the conversation Malachi 2 10. have we not all one father hath not one God created us do you know that it is biologically impossible you is a human to have more than one father now you can have a stepfather and you can have somebody like a father but biologically every person in here tonight biologically every person in here tonight only has one father all right you only have one father you have a stepfather a man like a father whatever I understand I get all that but biologically you've only got one father and God was saying to Israel when they were looking at this false god and that false god he's saying biologically you only had one Redeemer that brought you out of Egypt there was only one God one God that created you again in Isaiah 37 16 again I want you to understand the background of the scripture Israel has begun to choose Israel has begun to worship other gods listen to God in Isaiah 37 verse 16. Oh Lord of hosts God of Israel that dwelleth between the cherubims Thou Art the god even thou alone of all the kingdoms of the earth thou has made heaven and Earth you're alone you're the God Alone Isaiah 43 and 10. ye are my Witnesses saith the Lord and my servant whom I have chosen that you may know and believe me look at that pronoun me there look at that pronoun me there me not we me understand that I am how anybody can get a plurality out of God is beyond my imagination but religion and understand that I am he before me look at that pronoun before me there was no God formed neither shall there be after me I even I am the Lord and beside me there is no savior what is God pleading with Israel to why are you trying to find another God I'll go ahead and tell you I'm the only one there was never a god before me they won't be a God after me there's not a god beside me hear o Israel the Lord our God is one go ahead and give him a hand Isaiah 44 and 8 just go down a couple more verses Isaiah 44 8 listen to God fear you not neither be afraid have not I told thee that from that time and have declared it ye are my Witnesses is there a god beside me yea there is no God I know not any can I tell religion something tonight if you know more than one God you know more than God because God said if there's another God I know not any again go down to verse 24 the same chapter thus saith the Lord thy Redeemer and he look at that pronoun he that formed thee from the womb I am the Lord that maketh all things that stretcheth forth the heavens that's creation right where was this one God in creation he was there right that stretching forth the heavens who was with him alone that spreadeth abroad the Earth by my self again again Isaiah 48 you see when you understand it's really good when you understand who's being who's being spoken to and why Isaiah's saying all this because they were choosing all these pagan gods Isaiah 48 verse number 12 Isaiah 48 and 12. listen to God again hearken unto me hearken unto me you see if you want to know the truth hearken unto God if you want to know the truth hearken under the word don't Harker what what my church believes this is this is what my denomination believes you know that doesn't matter what your church believer what your denomination believes what does the Bible say hearken unto me it would Amaze you how you can find the truth if you'll listen to God hearken unto me o Jacob and Israel my called I am he I am the first I also am the last now let's turn the corner I want to ask a question I want to ask a question why did the Lord God manifest or take on a human body why did the Lord God and how many gods are there why did this one God manifest himself take on flesh why did he take on a human body now let me tell you what religion is going to tell you okay religion is going to tell you that God wanted for you to better understand his personality so he took on flesh he took on a human body wrong there's a three-letter word for the reason the one God took on a human body there's a three-letter word s i in sin sin is the reason God the one God became man s i I in sin we find it in the very Garden of Eden in Genesis chapter 3 verse number 15. we find the conversation between God and Satan we find the conversation that God tells the serpent Satan and by the way I've got I got some change for y'all tonight when I get done teaching I've gotta I've got a link of change a couple Links of change for everybody in here I got over uh the 300 something they cut today and or cut this week and so if we run out tonight and please only until until we make sure everybody wants one gets one don't get a pocket full for somebody that's not here we'll we'll we'll we'll be able to have that a little bit later but tonight I want to serve you because we're going to silence that serpent aren't we we're going to silence him this conversation is going on between God and the serpent God says I will put in enmity between thee and the woman the word enmity is a wall of hatred God said I'm going to place a wall of hatred between you and the woman between thy seed and her seat it shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel in other words he talks about two races the the seed the seed of the serpent which was when when he beguiled Eve and Adam walked into sin we become Now by Nature we are now by Nature the children of Wrath it's very simple to understand when our little sweet babies were born and our little sweet darling grandchildren were born we didn't have to teach them to lie they lie by Nature we don't have to teach and be stingy they're stingy by Nature that's because when Adam and Eve bought Hook Line and Sinker what the serpent was selling we became by Nature the children of Wrath but God said it's a first Prophecy in the Bible to a messiah God said I will put enmity a wall of hatred between you Satan and the woman between thy seed what you've produced and her seed it her seed will bruise your head and thou shalt bruise his heel this is prophecy that a woman would bear a seed and that seed would destroy the head of The Serpent and actually start a new race of people a new race of people now having said that that took place at Calvary when God took on a human body when God took on a human body that Satan could inject with his veins his most lethal weapon which was death God allowed Satan he put himself in a body that Satan could inject death into and injecting death Our Savior who knew no sin paid the sin dead became the pathway for you and I to come to God and have forgiveness have forgiveness for our sins why did God take on a human body s i n sin look at first John chapter 3 verse number 8 the Epistle of John chapter 3 verse number 8 will bear this out it says he that committeth sin is of the devil for the devil sinneth from the beginning for this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil that he might destroy the works of the devil Jesus Christ came Jesus Christ came God came to this earth in a human body in the man Christ Jesus to destroy I hope you get this tonight the works of the devil fear not don't be afraid the name of Jesus faith in Jesus Christ can break every chain and every lock and every addiction and every hang-up that will ever go through worship His Name praise His name and love his name Romans chapter 3 Romans chapter 3 and verse number 23 Romans 3 and verse number 23. look at Paul for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God I don't care what kind of good person you are I don't care how much money you give to the Red Cross I don't care how much Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinners you go down and feed the poor every every Thanksgiving and Christmas that's all well and good but you listen to this five foot seven inch Greenhouse preacher tonight it won't save you good works won't save you well he he does this she does this he's a good person all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God verse 24. being justified freely by his grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus and I'm going to tell you our God is a just God and our God our God is a just God and our god holds a perfect courtroom our God is a just God there was no way that God could just come down to the garden and say oh I know you failed let me smack you on the hands a few times I'm still going to fellowship with you he would have been unjust to his word and Satan knew it so somehow man had to be declared this word Justified this word justified in verse 24 being being justified this word Justified means to declare to pronounce to that one is just and righteous to declare such that he is righteous the only one that can declare you righteous is God God is the only one that can declare you righteous now it was God who was sinned against it wasn't Adam and Eve's commandment it wasn't Satan's commandment whose commandment was broken it was God's commandment was broken who was who was offended it was God who was offended that his commandment was to be broken so he could not come down and begin to begin to Fellowship because God would have been unjust so man was pronounced unclean on that day but God in his mighty wisdom God in his mighty wisdom knew it was a perfect man that fell in the garden it was a perfect man that yielded to Temptation and fell it would take a perfect man to be the price for the failure of that first man Adam and I'm glad to tell you tonight Abraham didn't meet the bill Noah didn't meet the bill Joe go get me there's some good honorable people in the Bible Daniel Shadrach Meshach and Abednego Esther Hannah there's some pretty good honorable people through the Bible but none of them could have paid that sin debt because we're all born in sin and shapen and we are we are sinners we we could have never appeased the peace I want to use that word appeased been pleased with there could never been a sacrifice that a holy God would look down and say I'm pleased with this I'm pleased you have met the you have met the qualifications of the throne room of Heaven you have met the payment for sin job couldn't do it Abraham couldn't do it Noah couldn't do it none of the these could do it but when God became a man God became a perfect man God became a sinless man God Jesus never sinned he became sin he never committed adultery but he became adultery he never committed home sexuality but he became homosexual he never committed to the acts but on that cross of Calgary that perfect spotless Lamb of God all the sins of the world were transferred onto him and he that knew no sin became sin and at that Transit transition when the sins of the world were passed you know we talk about wiring money here and there on that day at Calvary all the sins from Adam all the way past this present time was placed upon the lovely spotless Lamb of God and at that moment of that transition when the sins were placed the spirit of God withdrew itself from that body and that body became the offering of sin because you cannot crucify God come on you can't crucify God you can't put God to death but God says I'll put a body on that you can kill I'll put a spotless body on that you can kill oh I'm glad to know that there is only one God and that his name is Jesus you can't kill God you can't kill God it's ridiculous those that want to accept the second third and fourth century definition from the Catholic Church of a trinity do you realize that you accept that definition that you have to believe that for three days that there was only two-thirds God let that sink in if there's three separate persons and one of them got crucified then you have to at least accept for three days this Earth only had two-thirds God I don't know about you but I think I want to go back to my Bible I want to go back to my Bible because how can you have faith in a God that man can crucify of course we get asked questions such as well if you all believe that Jesus is God who was he praying to on the cross well I'd like to ask you a question if you believe that Father Son and Holy Ghost separate co-eternal co-equal that means each is as old as another I don't know how one's a father and one's a son where we're from a father is older than a son right you see sometimes we get put on the defense if you can know your Bible you can you can actually help them to say well you know what that is a good thought right there you go and it is because if they're co-equal that means that they each have the same amount of power as the other and they're co-eternal that means they're all just eternal if the one on the cross has as much power as the one he's praying to why does he have to pray if he has as much power but the answer is simple the man was praying not the god as a man as a man he slept in a boat But as God he got up and spoke to the nature that he created and told it to be still and lay down let that wind recognized his voice when he stepped out there and said Peace me still the wind said I heard that voice in creation I know what that voice is like and the winds I just love this truth don't you I I just love this truth tonight as a man as a man he got up and set on a well he said fellas go in town buy me something to eat I'm hungry but ask God he can reach and get a little boy's lunch and feed a multitude as a man they can crucify him But as God he said destroy this Temple and in three days he didn't say somebody else will raise it up again he said I will raise it up again he said destroy this Temple I'll just set my alarm clock to wake up in 72 hours and you just destroy this Temple I'll leave the temple you won't be able to destroy it till I leave it because if I'm in this Temple it doesn't need a heartbeat it doesn't need blood it doesn't need pulse it doesn't need all that as long as I'm in the temple it's going to be alive and so I understand in order to appease the righteousness of God I've got to leave this Temple and then almighty God looks down and God sees the sacrifice a perfect Adam hanging on a cross and the righteousness of God says court is pleased I am now pleased and that's why Jesus said no man can come unto the father but by me if you're going to get in the church you've got to come the legal way you can't come any other way but through Jesus Christ bacon turkey sandwiches during Thanksgiving ain't gonna get you in giving money to the Red Cross it's not going to get you in being a good moral person is not going to get you in you have got to come being justified freely by his grace by his strength that we're Justified he declared he pronounced freely that word there freely brother Nolan means undeservingly undeserving can I tell you when he pronounces us clean we're undeserving of what he pronounced as clean that's why nobody can boast let no man no man can boast uh in works it's not of Works lest any man boasts you come up out of that water you don't shake yourself and say whoa am I a good person look what I've done no you come up out of that water I said am I deserving of this new start I'm undisturbing it matter of fact we live our lives Heather just simply saying God I'm undeserving of your mercy I'm undeserving of your grace I have been pronounced Justified and I am undeserving I'll let you in I'll let you in a little bit closer to Pastor on on on on on one of my favorite programs I call it kind of winding down sometimes when I want to wind down there's a there's a there's a there's a program um there's a there's a a shot I'm not late with the I'm not there's a program there's a show it's about it's about truck drivers in Alaska a brother Brad and they run off the roads you know they're they're slipping slide they run off the road I mean they're they're mangled and Tangled all up and down in a gully and there's no way there's no way I decide I think it's called Uh huh okay I'm not the only Center in the house okay I just I I I knew the title I knew the title I just wanted to make sure I wasn't all alone here but I like that show and one of the things I like about this show it's impossible for that truck to get out and and even the actors there they're even acting like oh I don't know if this is gonna come out I'll tell you this is a bad shape right here all this stuff it's impossible for him to come out there's it's impossible that truck can never on its own get out of that Gully I can't help but see a sermon and everything that's how we were before Jesus you can't save yourself a bit more than you can jump flat foot and hit the Moon man they get them big old trucks out there and then cables and they'll start hooking to this Frame and hook into that frame then they keep you in experience and I hate them commercials they're keeping that popping and cracking and and and and and and all that and all of a sudden all that strength I'll send that back of that trip it starts coming up out of that Gully way and back on the highway and boom it hits the highway and sometimes they've even drove off and I couldn't help but think God that's me Kenny that's me I was in the Gully of Sin Sin had me all wrapped up in all these different Roots but somebody told me about Jesus somebody told me about Acts 2 38 somebody told me about the power of the Holy Ghost I pulled over I'm a snail s it's by his great power somebody ought to praise him right now come on if you know what I'm talking about give him some praise right now it's not in me I didn't save myself I couldn't help myself he pulled me out he brought me out of the Maori clay he set my feet on the Rock to stay he put a song in my soul today being justified freely by his grace through the Redemption that is in Christ Jesus where's the Redemption at where's the Redemption at in Christ Jesus whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation to be a propitiation it's the same word mercy seat covering to be a propitiation through faith in his blood you know something I believe that you first need faith in his blood to see any kind of good behavior if you're waiting for good behavior to cause you to think there's Faith In The Blood you'll never get there but if you can somehow believe with me the scripture that two thousand years ago a God who loved you so much came to this earth rogued himself in flesh the man Christ Jesus the Dual natured man Christ Jesus God Almighty son of man Son of God came and hung on a cross for you and for me and suffered bled and gave his life that 2000 years later we just have to believe on that name and Believe on what happened there and believe the gospel that is preached to us that we can through the name of Jesus we can repent of our sins through the name of Jesus and through the name of Jesus we can go to a watery grave called baptism and we can go down in the name of that risen savior and through the name of Jesus he said I'll send the holy ghost in my name that great power of God and is it things better now that you're born Again Church aren't you living a better life now that you have this Born Again experience oh let me go on let me just bring this to and I I I'm not going to finish tonight and you're going to be thankful that I'm not going to finish the propitiation through faith in his blood to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed through the forbearance of God set him to be God set the man Christ Jesus to be a propitiation through faith in his blood this Mercy seeked we find in Leviticus chapter 16. in Leviticus chapter 16 verse number 14. that on the day of atonement oh that day those Jews look forward to that day when that high priest went into that holy of holies and sprinkled Blood On The Mercy Seat propitiation and they knew on that day of atonement that our sins have been pushed up one more year our sins have been pushed up one more year Leviticus 16 14 and he shall take of the blood of the Bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon The Mercy Seat Eastward and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times the blood was from an innocent animal that was slain for the sins of the people to be pushed up another year let me say that again The Blood On The Mercy Seat was from an innocent animal and it was for the pushing up of the sins of the people the blood of the innocent covering the sins of the guilty oh how I love you Jesus oh how I love you oh how I love you thank you for saving a guilty wretch such as myself God oh hell I love you God oh God it was your blood for the for the guilty that saves us tonight oh oh how I love you how I love you Hebrews 10 and 4 Hebrews 10 and 4. for it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins wherefore when he cometh into the world he saith sacrifice and offerings thou wouldest not but a body hast thou prepared me and burn offerings and sacrifices for sins thou had us no pleasure then said I lo I come in the volume of the book it is written of me to do thy will o God above when he said sacrifice and offering and burn offerings and offerings for sins thou wouldest not neither had pleasure therein which are offered by the law then said he lo I come to do thy will o God he taketh away the first that he may establish the second by the which we will or by the by the which will we are Sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ wants for all why did God become human sin is why he became human and all through the Old Testament there wasn't a bullock a goat a lamb that God in heaven said I'm pleased with none of those offerings were pleasing to God they were just pushing up but God began to weave through scripture that God would take on a body and that this body would be a sacrifice for sin and that this body God would look at the sacrifice of this body and God would be pleased one last scripture Psalms 132 and verse 11. Psalms 132 and verse 11. the Lord hath sworn in truth unto David he will not turn from it God Lord how many lords are they one so if the Lord swore something to David and the Lord said I'll Never back off from this I'll never turn around from this the Lord that swore to him is the somebody help me is the one lord well Lord what have you sworn the Lord has sworn in truth unto David he will not turn from it of the fruit of thy body will I set up on thy Throne God said to David I'm going to come through your loins you're going to have descendants after descendants after descendants and when the fullness of time has come I will send forth I will mingle David's one lord said I will mingle I will merge into your loins in through your loins David I'll be birthed through Mary I'll be birthed through Mary and they'll call me Jesus the son of David and I got news for you there's coming a time on this Earth you'll see it during end time prophecy there's coming a time on this Earth that for one thousand years Jesus Christ is going to Reign from Jerusalem from Israel and he's going to be seated on the throne of David he's going to to rule again this Earth from the Throne of David and oh I'm so glad to know that there's only one God I'm so glad let me tell you something that we need to we we need to be able to give an answer to every man that asks us of the hope that is within us can I tell you if you're here tonight and you feel like God has called you to preach he has not called you to preach Snappy sermons he has not caused you to preach unusual thoughts he didn't even cause you to straighten out these rotten people or so-called rotten people that you think is around here you know what he called you to do he called you to study this book and to be able to get up and give an answer of the Hulk that lieth within because if we don't get one God right baptism is not right and if we don't get baptism not right we don't get the Holy Ghost promise that's right and if we don't get the power of the Holy Ghost we don't get a Holiness and everything is all mangled if we don't get that part right right if you're glad to know there's one God stand to your feet if you're glad to know there's only one God would you please worship him right and right now oh mighty God Oh How Great Is Our God oh how great is our God how great is our God how great is our God Sister Erickson brother Erickson can you come to could you come and brother Eric said now I want you to sing a little bit more about how great is our God and and I want you to bring the chains up here tonight I think you got two containers brother Nola if you put one right here if you put one right here and then if you put the other one on the other side of course I said to this Sunday night in reference to the Book of Revelation chapter 20 when the end of time when God sends an angel down from heaven with a great chain he lays hold on the devil and binds that devil up puts him in the bottomless pit and shuts him up and uh I I'm just preaching that what happens in The Book of Revelation later on I believe so many ways we can hush the devil up in our lives we live a whole lot happier if we disquieting down his voice that's that's why that's really why I preach you don't need to be listening to devil music you don't need to be listening to things that the enemies merged into because he could he he don't care how he gets you through your radio through your TV he don't care how he gets you he just gonna get you all right but I somehow come down and just get a simple chain tonight just one little there I think there's one or two links together keep it in your Bible keep it around you when you hear the voice of the adversary telling you no good you're lousy you're not going to make it you just get that chain and hold it in your hand as a as a reference of faith and you can begin to worship God if you'd like to have one of these tonight uh as brother Erickson leads us in this course come on down and as you get your link of chain consider yourself dismissed
