We're just going to read one passage of scripture for our text today. Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 15. God is having a conversation with our adversary. And in Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 15, you're finding that passage. Thank you, praise team. Thank you, brother Wely and praise team today. God's been good to me. Amen. As a matter of fact, exceedingly good. What I mean by exceedingly good, I mean that God has far exceeded what I thought he would ever do in my life. He is an exceeding great reward. God always go beyond. If you're thankful, you serve a God, you embrace a God, you praise a God, you're devoted to a God that goes far beyond >> what you ever could have imagined. I praise his name. Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed." Everybody say, "Her seed." Her seed. It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. For a few moments on this Sunday morning today, I want to minister on this subject. Our hope, our hope is in the seed. Our hope is in the seed. Please pray with me today. Father, I thank you today for your word. I thank you, God, that you have chosen to give us your word, God. And Lord, it is for our help. It is for our learning, God. It is for our encouragement, God. Lord, I pray today that I will deliver the word in the anointing of the Holy Ghost. And I not only pray for my lips and my heart today, but I pray for the ears of those that will hear today. Let knowledge come. Let deliverance come, God. And we'll give you the praise and we'll give you the glory. In Jesus' name we all pray today. But before you're seated, would you stand there and would you lift up your voices and would you give God a praise this morning for just simply how good God is? How good God is to your life. Oh, thank you, God. Oh Jesus Christ, we love you today. How how good you are. How good how good you are. How good how good you are. How good you are. What a good God we serve today. What a good God we serve today. You know in 2 Corinthians 5:15 it simply says, "If any man be in Christ, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." He is a new creature. Old things have passed away. Anybody ever heard that verse of scripture? If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away, and behold, all things are new. The word new is mentioned twice in that one verse. If any man be in Christ, he's a new creature. Old things have passed away. Had a funeral, had a burial in Jesus' name. And behold, all things become new. You see the Christian, you and I need to come to a revelation today that we are not only people who have had our sins forgiven, but we are people that have been changed by the power of God. We have been changed because he is a God that makes all things new. He is in the new business. Amen. He is in the new business. In Revelation 21:17, he said, "I'm going to give you a new name." In Revelation 5 and9, he said, "I'm going to give you a new song." In Revelation 21 and1, he said, "I'm going to also give you a new heaven and a new earth." In Revelation 21:2, he said, "I'm going to give you a new Jerusalem." And uh he simply says in Revelation 21:5, "And he that sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." You're glad today that you not only serve a God that forgave you of your sins, but you serve a God that is continually changing your life. Anybody glad that you've been changed? Anybody glad that you're not what you used to be? Now, I'm going to go ahead and tell you today, I'm not where I want to be, but praise the Lord. I'm not what I used to be. Could you give him praise right now for that? Oh, my hope, my hope is in the seed. God stands talking to the adversary. God begins to give the promise. Yes, he gave punishment on that day. But we serve a God that if he punishes us, corrects us. It's because he loves us. He doesn't correct us. He doesn't punish us over what we've done. He corrects us and punishes us to correct us for the future of our life. How many glad that God is a God that gives us a future? I got a future in God. Got a future. Got a future in God. And so God is speaking to Satan and he goes ahead and he says, "I'm going to put a wall of hatred. I'm going to put a wall of animosity between your seed and her seed." He says, "Uh, what you have produced here today is going to have a wall of animosity toward the seed that is yet to be born." And of course, you must understand that this one verse here is referred to as the first gospel. Because when God says to Satan, that her seed is going to bruise, crush, destroy your head. You see, a person can recover from a bruised heel, but very few will recover from a bruised brain. And he says to the adversary today, he says on that day, he said there will be a seed, there will be a seed that will come that will destroy, eradicate everything that you have started here today. It's the first scripture of the promise of God becoming God becoming a man. So we find today that that one little scripture, her seed, everybody say her seed >> is where our hope is at is where our expectation should be. You see, it's not in us to change us, but the seed has the change. And so we understand, and we're just going to go through our scripture today. We're going to go through the Bible. We're going to weave our way through the Bible and watch God as he just begins to reveal what the seed is going to be. The seed in chapter 3:1 15. But now we go to Genesis 12 and verse number one. Let's watch the Lord. Now the Lord had said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred, from thy father's house unto a lamb that I will show thee." Listen to God. "And I will make of thee a great nation. I'm going to make something great out of you, Abram. and I'm going to bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing. But here's verse three. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that cursseeth thee. We hear a lot about that. But here's what he says. And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Abraham, in you is the seed that is going to bless how many families of the earth? Let me see if you're listening to me today. How many families? >> How many families? >> All families of the earth shall be blessed. When God uses the word all, God means the word all. God doesn't exaggerate. God doesn't speak things that he's not able to fulfill. When God says, Abram, all the families of the earth is going to be blessed. Years went by. Abraham and Sarah are still barren. They have not produced any seed. And in chapter 15 of the same book, Genesis, verse number three, Abraham has an issue with God. He's really complaining to God. And Abram said, "Behold, thou behold to me thou has given," everybody say, "no seed." >> He said, "God, you've given me no seed. And lo, one born in my house is my heir." And that was a custom on that day if a man and woman never produced any children that the eldest servant in the house upon the death of the of of of Abram every servant would have received the inheritance. And so Abram says God just accept it. Eleazar is going to be mine heir. Verse four. And behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir, but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he God brought Abram him Abram forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them. And he said unto him, "So shall thy seed be." Now, I want the next verse. Uh I I want verse number six. I didn't give you that on on on the uh text, but I I want verse number six. Abraham starts off complaining. He starts off complaining. You've given me no son, God. You you've given me, but Eleazar, he'll be the one to carry it on. And God said, Eleazar will not be your heir. But the seed that comes out of your own loins, that's going to be your heir. And then it was interesting. God took him and called him out of the tent and told Abram to look up to the stars. I want you to know today that you'll never get anywhere looking at your feet. You'll trip. You'll fall. You'll run into walls. You'll never get anywhere looking down. But through the power of the word of God, if I can cause you through the word today to begin to look up, he said, "Look up, Abraham, and start counting the stars, Abraham. Start counting the stars. And if you're able to number the stars, so shall thy seed be." And the Bible says, "And he believed in the Lord, and he counted it, the Lord counted it to him for righteousness." Now, this simple verse here, Abram believed in the Lord. God doesn't work in doubt. God works in faith. So, don't think that you're going to doubt long enough and God's going to surprise you with the answer. Because doubt is a form of negative faith. What you doubt is more than likely going to happen. If you doubt the word of God, the word of God will never produce for you. But if somehow you can go beyond this and get into this, don't know how. Sarah and I are stricken with age. Don't know how it's going to happen. But God, you said it. And if you said it, God, you're able to make all things. This is where faith comes in. You're able to do what I cannot see that would happen. You're able to do. And the Bible simply says Abraham believed what God said. But but look at the last phrase of that. And God counted it to him for righteousness. In other words, man stood in an unrighteous position with God. God will never bless unrighteousness. God will never bless a person that lives in an unrighteous state. But if you can ever begin to believe in the word of God that change can come through the power of the Holy Ghost, God moves you from the position of unrighteousness where there's no blessing, there's no favor, there's nothing coming your way that's good. And he moves you over here in the right standing with God where favor is coming. Blessings is coming. The wind in your sails is coming and all things become new. Abraham. But Galatians, we're going to skip all the way to Galatians. We're coming back to the Old Testament. But just for a moment, this seed that God said to Satan, this seed that God said to Abraham that would bless all the families of the earth, this seed that God said, "Your seed, your seed would be as the stars." The great apostle Paul elaborates in Galatians chapter 3 and verse number 16. The great apostle Paul gives sheds a lot of light on this seed. He says, "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made." God saith not and to seeds as of many, but as of one and to thy seed which is Christ. Our hope is in the seed because our hope is in Christ. Our hope is in him. Sometime later, God spoke to Abraham. The seed was given the miraculous. The seed was given to Abraham and Sarah. This seed was called Isaac. Now, the reason he's called Isaac, because the word means a laughter. The word means laughter. That's what Isaac means. It means laughter. And the reason they named him laughter was that when Sarah was easedropping, as most women probably do, as Sarah was easedropping, because Abraham and God are having a conversation outside the tent door. And as God and Abraham, the angel of the Lord, and Abraham are having this conversation outside the tent door, Sarah's in the tent behind the door and she's easedropping. And God says, God says to Abraham, he says, you know, 9 months the time of life, Sarah's going to bear a child. And when God told Abram that, Sarah broke the silence. She didn't mean to, but she God said, "You laughed." And she then she threw, "Oh, I wasn't ease dropping. I I was cleaning the corner here in the door. I I" He said, "You surely are laughing." and said, "All that will hear this will laugh with you, and therefore his name is called laughter." Can I ask somebody something today? When's the last time you really laughed? When's the last time that you really laugh so hard that your breath? How when's the last time that that that just life in general, I'm not talking about I'm not talking about hearing a good story and getting a little laugh about it. You know, I heard a story the other day. I hope I can tell it. I'm not a good joke teller. I seem to not get the punch line where it goes. And and uh I I get more laughs out of the church when I get to preaching real fast and call myself 7 foot 5 in preacher and you had to be here Wednesday. I guess see there I get more laughs out of that. But said a guy that when he was in court and um the insurance company didn't want to pay on an injury that he had. He had been riding his horse and a car had hit him and the insurance company didn't want to pay and the insurance lawyer was uh had the man up on the stand and he said u it is put here that when the officer got there that you told him that you had never felt better in all your life. Did you not say that? He said I did say that. He turned to the jury as if to say he's not really injured. and uh his lawyer got up and did a redirect and he said, "Now I know you said that statement that you'd never felt better in all your life, but could you give us the context of why you said that?" He said, "Sure." He said, "Uh, I was riding my horse and said, "When the car hit us, it it it it it it it mangled up the horse and the horse was laying over there and I I told the officer, Brother Ferguson, I said, "Would you would you check on my horse?" And the next thing I knew, the officer walked over and pulled out his pistol and shot my horse right in the head. And the next thing I I Uh uh he said I'm going to the officer said I'm going to go check on your dog and the dog's back is broke and he's laying in the ditch and and so the next thing I knew I heard the officer he took the gun out and he shot my dog in the head and killed my dog. He said the officer walked up to me and said, "How do you feel?" He said, "I've never felt better in all of my life. I'm not I'm not talking about laughing at a funny joke, but when's the last time you just started looking back over your life? See, the devil never expected you to get back up. He is not omnisient. The devil doesn't know the future. He just knows that you're down and he's got you figured that you're out. But he wasn't figuring on you getting back up. He wasn't figuring on you getting back in this race. He knocked you down. He stomped his feet on you. He wiped his feet on you. He counted you out. He counted you completely out. But somewhere the word be to boil inside of you. Somewhere you got some hope in the seed and some arms started moving and some feet started getting back up. He didn't figure you'd get back up. God continues to speak. Genesis chapter 22. Don't you love the word this morning? >> Genesis 22 verse number 17. Here God again. Isaac's been born. He's God is talking about Isaac in 22:17. He says that in blessing I will bless thee and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is upon the seashore. and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. God continues to speak and he says, "Now the seed," notice where the seed, if you ought to mark every place, the seed's going to crush his head. The seed's going to crush his head. And now the seed is going to possess, rule, and reign in the gate of the enemy. Years went by and now Isaac has a son by the name of Jacob. Because I'm here to tell you, God wants that this thing to go from generation to generation. Let me say it again. God wants his thing to go from generation to generation. God wants his promises to go from your generation to your children and your children and your children. So now here's Jacob. Here's Jacob. And in Genesis 28 and verse number 14, listen to God speak to Jacob. And he says to Jacob, "And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad, to the west, to the east, to the north, and to the south, and in thee." See if this is not familiar. And in thee, and in thy seed shall how many families? >> All families of the earth be what? >> Be blessed. Years go by. You're going to hear this phrase again and again. Years go by. Jacob is dying. The spirit of prophecy comes upon Jacob. The spirit of prophecy comes upon Jacob. And in Genesis 49 and verse number one, he's on his deathbed. The spirit of prophecy comes upon him. He calls his 12 sons to his bedside to prophesy their future. He calls his sons to prophesy their future. Verse one, Jacob called unto him his sons and said, "Gather yourselves together that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. I want to prophesy to you." He comes in verse number eight, he comes to a tribe called Judah. And in verse number eight, he says, Judah, thou art he whom thy brothers brethren shall praise. Thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies. Thy father's children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion's welp for the prey. My son, thou art gone up. He stooped down. He crouched as a lion and as an old lion. who shall rouse him up. The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh come. And unto him shall be the gathering of the people, binding his fold animal unto the vine, his ass as his coat unto the choice vine. He washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes. Can I tell you Jacob is like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob is prophesying about the seed. Everybody say the seed. He's prophesying about the seed. And now he narrows it down to a certain tribe. It is the tribe of Judah. He says to the tribe of Judah about the seed that the seed will overcome the enemy. that the seed is likened to a lion, that the seed will have a scepter, that is a ruler, a a scepter is a an instrument of authority. Shiloh means God sent and a place of rest. So now God says it's just not a seed, but I'm going to tell you and and let me say this. I forgot to interject this. What you're going to hear today was what the first is how the first century church proved that Jesus was Messiah. What you're hearing right now would been what Paul or Peter and the apostles would stand before people to prove that Jesus Christ is the answer. That Jesus Christ is the Messiah. good people today. We're wasting a lot of time and a lot of money if we're here for a self-help talk today or you're here to have a life coach to hear. But the answer is not in your prosperity. Your answer is not in your so-called wholeness happiness. But true prosperity and true happiness can be found when you understand it's only in the seed of the woman and his name is Jesus. You would have heard Paul saying this. And now the seed is narrowed down to the tribe to the tribe of uh Judah. It's narrowed down to the tribe of Judah. He's called a lion. Matter of fact, somebody help me today. is not one of the scriptures in our New Testament. Does it not identify Jesus as the lion of the tribe of Judah? The book of Coronicles chapter 5 verse number one. It's really interesting. They begin to list the Coronicles and they begin to list the families and follow with me. 1 Coronicles 5 and verse number one. Now the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, for he was the firstborn. A lot of good things should have come to him. But for as much as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph uh sons of Joseph, the son of Israel. And the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. In other words, he said Reuben disqualified himself. So God slid Joseph over there. But then something interesting happens in verse number two. for Judah prevailed above his brethren. Now when when when Reuben did what he did and God said, "No, you're not getting this. I'll make Joseph the firstborn." But then God says God says, "But let me introduce something for you. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler, but the birthright was Joseph's." Now in this simple verse here, God is again saying, "I know that I took Reuben and I put Joseph in Reuben's place, but my ultimate plan is that out of Judah will come a chief ruler. There's going to be one. Joseph will rule the tribes of Israel, but there's coming a chief ruler out of Judah. 2 Samuel 7 verse number 12 days went by. The Bible says, "And when thy days," God is speaking to David here. God is speaking to King David. And the prophet says to him, David, when thy days be fulfilled, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers. I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, as Solomon, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father. He shall be my son if he commit iniquity. I will chasen him with the rod of men and with the stripes of the children of men. But my mercy shall not depart away from him as I took it from Saul whom I put away before thee. And thy house, David, and thy kingdom shall be established forever before thee. Thy throne shall be established forever according to all these words, according to all this vision. So did Nathan speak unto David. In other words, God was saying to David, there is a seed that's going to come out of your loins and of his kingdom. There shall be no end. Brothers and sisters, church family, today, oh, I got to tell you, time doesn't erase, dull down the power of the almighty God. God as God is as strong right now as he has ever been. He will never grow weak. He will never grow ineffective in our lives. But if we can believe in the seed of the woman, all things are possible to them that believe. David, David, your kingdom is going to last forever. Psalms chapter 110 verse number one. David had an experience with God. God began to speak to David in Psalms 110 and verse number one. It is a psalm of David. It is something that he wrote. And here's what he wrote. The Lord said unto my Lord, "Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy foottool." David heard from God. And it was a strange conversation for he said my Lord said the Lord said unto my Lord sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy foottool. Now let me clear something up today. This is not a conversation between two Lords. If we believe in two Lords, we contradict the foundation of our Bible. Gen Deuteronomy 6 and4 here. O Israel, somebody help me today. Here, O Israel, the Lord our God is one. If we believe this is a com a literal conversation between two Lords, then Paul, what are you talking about? When you said in Ephesians, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, this is not a conversation between two Lords. This is a conversation held by the Lord who spoke of things which are not as though they were. And the Lord said to David, there's coming a the Lord out of your loins. And what's coming out of your loins is going to sit in a place of power and acceptance as a mediator. And the Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand until thine enemies be made thy foottool. This is interesting. This is interesting. Somebody help me today. Would you place Would you place I believe it is Lord help me. I believe is Matthew chapter 1 and verse number one. I believe it starts with the genealogy. Would you help me today? Could you put that verse of scripture just real quickly? Because when God wanted to identify himself to the Jewish people, to his people, to us today, when God wanted to give the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the book of the gene genealogy of Jesus Christ, when you look at the two that he identifies himself with, he says, "The son of David, the son of Abraham." The son of Abraham was the promise. The son of David was the promise continued. Jesus Christ is repeatedly called Jesus Christ, thou son of >> What was the Jewish people saying when they said Jesus Christ, thou son of David? They were saying, you're the seed of Genesis 3:15. You're the seed of Genesis 12. You're the seed of Genesis 15. You're the seed of Genesis 22. You're the seed. You're that promised seed that is going. You're Messiah. You're the anointed. You're the one that's going to break the bands and break the yoke of sin that is upon people. You're the one. We're in captivity to sin right now. But you're the one it's going to break this. But not everybody called him Jesus the son of David. Not everybody, especially the religious people. That's why in Matthew chap 22 and verse number 42, Jesus had a conversation with the religious people. Matthew 22 and verse 42, he he has a conversation with them and it goes like this. They're asking him a bunch of questions and he just you you know he just says, "What think you of Christ? What think you of Christ? Whose son is he?" They say unto him, "Oh, the the son of David." He saith unto them, "How then doth David in spirit?" Can can I tell you, >> you will never see the things of God until you get in the spirit of worship. You will never see what God has planned for you walking in pride. You will never see you will never see what God has for you being a well if God listen God's going to have to prove it to me. God's going to have to prove you you you'll never see anything from God. But if you'll get in a place of worship and you'll get in a place of hunger. Bible says 43, he saith unto them, how then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, The Lord said unto my Lord, set thou on my right hand till I make thine enemies thy foottool. Listen to Christ. Listen to Jesus. He's got them. He's got him. If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? He said, "If David called him Lord, how is he his son?" Verse 46, "And no man was able to answer him a word, neither does any man from that day forth ask any more questions." Can I tell you something? Your journey with God begins with let me tell you who Jesus is. >> You got a lot of questions, but you need to answer the first question because if you can ever understand, if you can ever answer who the seed is, it's all over. If you can ever answer inside of you, he is the seed that's going to crush the head of the serpent. There's not a habit, there's not a situation, there's not a circumstance. You can keep God's people 400. Oh, you don't know how long I've been on drugs. You don't know how long I've been on alcoholic. You don't know how long how long how long how long. You don't know how long I've been in this state. 430 years. Try that. Egypt had God's people for 430 years. But when God said, "It's time to bring my people out. God brought them out in one night." Can I tell you, if I can get you believing in Jesus Christ, if I can get you believing that he is the one that puts his head head foot on the head of the serpent, all things are possible. A new day is coming. Joy is coming in your life. If I can get you to believe that through the world, oh, let me rush. Let me go because time is going to time is going to get me. How is it? How is it? How can he be David's Lord? How can he be David's Lord? Look at verse 45. How can he be David's Lord and David's son at the same time? Well, I believe I believe that Revelation chapter 22 verse number 16, when the teacher asks a question, the teacher knows the answer. But the teacher asked the question to see if the students are learning. But on that day when he stood in the temple and he said, "Let me just ask you something. If he's David's Lord, how can he also be David's son?" And the students said, "We can't answer that. We we we don't know that." But the great teacher, everybody say, "The great teacher." >> The great teacher in Revelation 22:16, the great teacher said, "Let me explain what I tried to say in Matthew." because he says, "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and the morning star." Can I tell you he is the seed is two things. It is almighty God robed in human flesh, but not two lords and not two beings. One is eternal and one was begotten. God that dwelt in him was the eternal spirit, but the man was begotten at Bethlehem. But it was God. It was the root. It was the eternal. It was the everlasting God that was there. He is the root and he is the offspring of David. Oh, I hope you don't write me off today. Well, pastors back on that one god kick again. If we ever lose this, we'll lose the promise of what the seed is all about. Oh, would you praise him right now? Would you praise him right now? Come on. Would you praise him right now? I'm not only fighting with the devil this morning. I'm fighting with the clock. He's the lion of the tribe of Judah. He came through the lineage of Judah. Joseph, although Joseph is not the father of Jesus, Joseph was from the tribe Judah. Although Mary was simply the vessel that God overshadowed and God caused there to be a miraculous conception because from the time of creation after God created Adam and Eve, every human being after that was begotten through a male and a female. It would take a male. matter that let me just tell you let me just tell you still it still takes a male and a female to produce an offspring. I just throw that in. It still takes Listen, we're all our minds are blowed about AI. Oh, AI. AI AI. But I tell you one thing AI will never do. AI will never produce a human offspring. You might produce a computer image. You might produce a computer, a robot that has actions of a human, but it'll never be a human. But only God takes a male and a female and creates. You can YouTube this. You can YouTube this. Just as your pastor, I'm asking you don't do it right now. But they say in the womb of a woman has she conceived that there is an un there is a mysterious spark inside of her body. There's a mysterious spark of light, a spark. They've explained it. They've tried their best. But I personally believe that that spark is the life of God. is the life of God. Thank you, Lord. Holy Ghost, I love you this morning. Mighty God, I praise you this morning. Why? At 22 minutes after 11, the Bible speaks of a kinsman redeemer. one close to another in kin family. It's called the kinsman redeemer. I'll go very quickly but Leviticus 25:2. If thy brother be wax and poor and hath sold away some of his possession, if any of his kin come to redeem it, then he shall redeem that which his brother sold. It's called the doctrine of the kinsman redeemer. If a man got into poverty and had to sell off things, somebody kin to him could come and redeem. It goes on Leviticus 25 47-49. And if a sojourer or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger, or the souljourer by thee, or to the stock of thy stranger's family, after that he is sold, he may be redeemed again. one of his brethren may redeem him, either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him. Or if he be able, he may redeem himself. I got to stop there and just tell you, we cannot redeem ourselves. You can't help yourself. You listen, you can't help yourself any more than you can jump jump flatfooted and touch the moon. You are hopelessly and you are helplessly lost in the bondage of sin. You can't redeem yourself. Deuteronomy 25, the doctrine of the the doctrine of the kinsman redeemer. Deuteronomy 22 and5 or excuse me, Deuteronomy 25 and5. If brethren dwell together and one of them die and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger, her husband's brother shall go in unto her and take her to him to wife. And let me calm everybody down. This is Old Testament. This was the fulfilled I just thought I'd add that in there. cages, take her to him to wife, perform the duty of a husband's brother unto her. And it shall be that the firstborn which she bears shall succeed in the name of his brother, the which is dead, that his name be put not out of Israel. There are two essential requirements, sister carpenter, for a kinsman redeemer. There's two things. There's two things for a kinsman redeemer. Number one, he must have the wealth or the power to redeem. If you're going to fulfill the role of a kinsman redeemer, you must possess the wealth and the power to redeem. And number two, it was the essential requirement that you must be near of kin to the family. Can I tell you why that God became a man? Because although he possessed power as a creator, there was none like God. He said, "I will not share my glory with another." There is none like God. Does he have brother Ferris? Does God have the power before Bethlehem? Does God have the power to redeem? He has one of them. But God lacks a second. He has power to redeem because he had the power to create. But he would violate his own word because he was God and his glory he would share with no other. Although he had power, he did not have the essential second step of being a mere kinsman redeemer. For God is a spirit, and a spirit hath not flesh and blood. And the only way we can be bought out and reverse the curse of Adam and Eve was there to be a perfect sacrifice such as the first Adam. That first Adam fell in the garden. It would take a perfect Adam to redeem. He had power, but he was not of the kinsman relationship because he had spirit power, but he had no blood purchasing power. But praise be to God. In Hebrews 2:14, I tell you, I can't hardly, oh, papey the sailor man said, I can't hardly contains myself right now. Because Hebrews 2:14, for as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself took part of the same, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil, and delivered them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject unto bondage. For verily he took not on him the nature of angels, but he took on him the seed of Abraham, wherein in all things it behooved him to me being made like unto his brethren, that he might be a faithful, a merciful, and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to secure them that are tempted. When he became a man, he became a kinsman redeemer. He was God. He had the power. But when he was man, he had the Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Stand with me right now. Singers, come. Oh, praise the lamb of God with me right now. Come on. Praise the Lamb of God. That ain't enough noise. There's more excitement in a golf match than what I just heard. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, he'll set you free this morning. >> He'll set you free. Acts chap 20 verse number 28. Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock. This is what he's telling the pastors in the book of Acts. Pay attention to yourself pastors and to all the flock that you over which the Holy Ghost made you overseers to feed the church of God which he had purchased with his own blood. He purchased you and I with his own blood. Ephesians 1 verse 7 and Ephesians 1 verse14. in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace. Colossians 1:14, in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sin. This is my last text. This is my last verse. Go with me in another dispensation. Go with me under the law right now, said Carter. Go with me under the law and watch me bring an animal and watch me slit its throat and watch the blood of that animal. Sometimes they walk to the house of God. The animal they had was an indicator of the sin they had committed. Certain sins have to add certain animals. And when a person would bring that animal, sin, this is my sins, hand him over the priest, the priest would slit his throat and the blood would flow. And God used that. God used that. And when that man saw the blood sprinkled on the altar, God honored it. And the man walked away and said, "I'm cleansed. I'm cleansed." The blood of a goat, the go blood of a calf. The man walked away and said, "I'm cleansed. I'm cleansed. Cleansed." But Paul says it this way. Hebrews 9:12. Neither by the blood of goats and calavs, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifyth to the purifying of the flesh, Paul is trying to say, if God honored when they would sprinkle ashes of a heer, if they would take blood and God said, "I'll honor that." And these people walked away and said, "Clean, clean, free." He said, 'If God honored the blood of bulls and of goats, look at verse 14, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Can I tell you today that all it takes is for you to step out of your doubt and unbelief and start saying, "My hope is in the seat. My hope is in the seat." Is that not my title today? Our hope is in the seat. If we stop listening, you're never going to deliver yourself. You're never going to come out of where you're at. You're going to live in misery all the days of your life. You you you you're going to live. The doctor will prescribe you things. You you'll try new entertainment. You'll try a lot of things of this world, but you'll never be happy >> till you begin to stand on that seat and you begin to say, "My hope is in that seed." Would you bow your heads all over this place? And those of you that know how to pray, would you begin to pray right now? I'm going to open up this altar in just a moment, but would you begin to pray right now? There's those here in bondage that need to be set free. There's those here today that have lives that are wreck and you have come to this place and our hope is in this sea today. Our hope is in Jesus. Come on, help me pray right now. But when God said to Satan that her seed is going to bruise your head, he was not only talking about trespasses, but he was also talking about sickness in our body. You have a right if you're sick in your body to keep your feet firmly standing upon the seed of the name of Jesus Christ. If Bishop Holmes If Bishop Holmes reignited something in me, he said kept saying over and over again. And if if Bishop Holmes wasn't brought to mirable for anybody else, he's brought to miracle for me. But he kept saying over and over, pray about everything. Pray about everything. Pray about everything. Pray is a continual things. It's not prayed, it's keep praying, keep praying, keep praying. He'd been gone since Monday, but I put into practice what he said. Little situation, I just put it into practice what he said. And instead of trying to take it into Kenny Carpenter's master brain that I think I have, Brother Hunter, I just kept saying, "Jesus, I need your help with this. Jesus, I need your help with this. Instead of instead of want to slip into me think about how am I going to work this out? How's this going to work out? I just begin to say, Jesus, it's not my problem. Oh, friend, feel the Holy Ghost here. >> Let me give everybody an invitation to be back 5:30 tonight. Let's pack that prayer room out. 6:00 our back to school rally will begin. And it is not for just the young. Some of you folks that got hair that look like mine, you need to be here tonight. So, I don't have any kids or grandkids in the school. You still need to be here tonight. You still need to be here tonight. We're going to walk these grounds. We're going to anoint with oil. And after that, we're going to ride the train, eat ice cream. God bless you. Dismissed in Jesus name.
