if you have your Bibles in return with me to the Book of John chapter number four and verse number 19 John chapter 4 and verse number 19 and why you're looking for that it is so good to have a great number of people that stayed after the Women's Conference in Gatlinburg and have on their way home today decided to come through here this morning and have church we're glad to have Pastor Miller and his family and church family with us today from Philadelphia Pennsylvania would you give them a great hand give them a great hand today for coming and being with us thank you all so very very much today for being for being with us you're reading that I have chosen today is a Midway in a conversation that Jesus is having with this woman this Samaritan woman and Midway through this conversation in verse 19 the woman saith unto him sir I perceive that thou art a prophet our fathers worshiped in this mountain and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship Jesus saith unto her a woman believe me the hour cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain nor at Jerusalem worship the father ye worship ye know not what we know what we worship for salvation is of the Jews but the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father seeketh such to worship Him God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth I want to minister today on our life line our life line father thank you today for your word that is our compass thank you today God for your word which is our anchor thank you today God for your word which is our bread Lord had it not been for this written word we would only know that you are a creator but because of the written word today God we know you as a savior we know you as a friend we know you as a midnight comforter Lord today would you help me to feed the church would you help me to bring spiritual enlightenment to eyes today so that we can walk in the fullness of your truth would you help me today to feed your sheep this morning Lord would you help me Lord and I'll give you the praise and the honor in Jesus name we pray amen and amen you may be seated our lifeline our lifeline our Lifeline what we must have what we must have is God's spirit what we must have is God's spirit I believe we need to remind ourselves daily of really what we must have we must have we must have God's spirit this conversation that Jesus has with this woman who's a Samaritan there is a division between the Samaritans and the Jews they were so divided that the Samaritans were taught for many years that they worshiped God on a certain Mountain they were not permitted to go to Jerusalem because they were not Jews they were not allowed to worship on the mount in Jerusalem only the Jews were allowed to worship at Jerusalem it was interesting it was the Jews that had all of the word of God the Jews had the word of God the written word of God the teaching and the Jews were very versed they were extremely versed in the knowledge of God the Samaritans on the other hand had very little knowledge of God but they had a thirst they had a thirst and they had hunger and they had a desire a lot of their worship was is sincere as anybody would want to worship but it was based on ignorance of God's word they were sincere they were hungry they knew that there was a God and that he needed to be worshiped but a lot of their worship was was just ignorant it was just without the knowledge of the word of God on the other hand the Jewish people had the knowledge but they became they became so lectured that they had absolutely no emotions for God was no emotions it was all intellect it was all just a lecture that they were receiving their emotions never got stirred there never really had any kind of emotional stir toward that God one day at a whale Jesus meets up with a woman of Samaria he begins to minister to her and as he begins to minister to her she makes the statement that you you're a prophet and then she wants to talk about the difference he wants to talk about the difference do you know I really believe today that before we ever address differences in What We believe We ought to come to Common Ground and say the spirit of God is our lifeline the spirit of God is our lifeline she says to Jesus she wants to talk about the difference she said you all Worship in Jerusalem we've been trained to worship over on Yonder Mountain and um we're not allowed to go to your Mountain Jesus opened up a brand new day to her he explained to her that her worship was built on a lack of a knowledge for God's word said you worship I'm not denying that you don't Worship You Do Worship but you're worship ignorantly you don't know really who you're worshiping but we know for salvation is of the Jews he said we have we have that knowledge but he said the hour is coming and now is when the true worshipers boy if you write in your Bible underline true worshipers true worshipers now why is true worshiper so important because if there is a true worshiper there could also be a false worshiper and I certainly don't want to fall into the category of being a false worshiper he said but the hour is coming when the true worshipers shall worship the father and he brings these two mountains together in spirit and in truth he said the hour is coming and it is right now that the father is going to be worshiped in enthusiasm the father is going to be worshiped in emotions father is going to be worshiped in an emotional way there are people that are going to come and they're going to worship God in an emotional way they're going to be touched tears are going to stream down their faces Smiles are going to replace frowns and and a happy Light Spirit is going to take over a heavy laden Spirit yes there are going to be people that are going to worship in spirit but they're also going to combine and they're going to worship in truth for the father seeketh such to worship Him in other words if we have come today to worship God I would just simply think that we would want to give God the type of worship he's looking for I want to give God I want to give God the type of worship that he is looking for there's often times a housewife here will cook a meal for company she will cook a meal for company and she will cook certain items that she she may not care for but she's not cooking it for herself she's cooking it for her invited guest because she has found out that's what they like that's what they enjoy and so as a church as an Apostolic Church let's always be on our heels ready to give God the worship that he is looking for let's get ready to give him our emotions let's get ready to give him the joys of our heart for the father seek as such to worship Him and then verse 24 Jesus said God is a spirit God is a spirit and they that worship Him here's that word again must worship Him in spirit and in truth in other words he's saying not only is spirit and Truth worship what I'm seeking after the spirit and Truth worship is all that I am receiving it's all that I will all that I will accept now why does he go here and tell us that God is a spirit why does he stop there and almost like he changes a subject he uses if you'll follow along with me when he says in verse 24 and even verse 23 the true worshiper shall worship the father in spirit you'll notice there that that spirit is not Capital capitalized it's not referring to God's spirit it's referring to the spirit that is within you and I so we understand today that our spirit is so important because our spirit connects with his spirit because God is a spirit God is a spirit now let's give the definition of a spirit Jesus has told us in John 4 24 that God is a spirit let's Let Jesus tell us in Luke 24 37-39 Jesus comes walking on the water in the middle of a storm to the disciples that are in a ship and as Jesus comes walking upon the Water the disciples think that they have seen and they had this Superstition thing that that if you were about to die that you would see spirits walking around and of course they see this man walking on the water and they're in the middle of a storm and so they beginning in verse 37 but they were terrified in a frightened and suppose that they had seen a spirit Jesus said unto them why are you troubled and why do thoughts arise in your hearts behold my hands and my feet that it is I handle me and see for a spirit hath not Flesh and Bones as ye see me have so if God is a spirit if God is a spirit in that pure essence of who he is God is a spirit then a spirit does not have Flesh and Bones as they saw that Jesus had now I'm talking about God in his pure Essence God is a spirit so now if God is a spirit and he is and God hath not Flesh and Bones then we find from scripture that God is God's spirit is invisible it is invisible our eyes are not able to see him he is he is invisible Colossians chapter 1 and verse number 15. speaking of Jesus Christ but it says in Colossians 1 15. who is the image of the invisible God First Timothy 1 17. First Timothy 1 17. now unto the king eternal immortal invisible the only wise God First Timothy 6 and 16. who only hath immortality dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto whom no man hath seen nor can see to whom be honor and power ever and ever power Everlasting amen now I'm going all through here today and we're going to come out understanding why we worship God in spirit and in truth it's going to have a greater understanding of our God connection of our God connection first or John the Gospel of John chapter number one and verse number 18 plainly reads this way no man has seen God at any time the only begotten son which is in the bosom of the father he hath declared him no man has seen God at any time that's exactly right are you saying that Jesus isn't God I'm saying Jesus is God but when you see the man Christ Jesus you see the manifestation of the spirit of God but no man has been able to see the pure essence of God because God is a spirit now having established that through scripture let's establish something else the spirit of God is all present the spirit of God is in this room the spirit of God is in the parking lot the spirit of God is on the top of the highest mountain in the Smokies right now the spirit of God is all the way around the world right now in all these different places because the spirit of God is all present Solomon in second Chronicles chapter 2 and verse 6. Solomon built God a house he built God this house upon completing the house it Dawns on this man Solomon how foolish he was to believe that he could build God a house a house to contain God second chronicles two and six Solomon says but who is able to build him a house seeing the heaven in heaven of Heavens cannot contain him who am I then that I should build him a house save only to burn sacrifices before him he said I built God a house thinking God was going to dwell here and ought to have known the heaven of Heaven of Heavens can't contain God said all this house is good for us for me to offer burnt offerings up said that's the only thing this house is only good for me to worship my God in this house David brings this down in Psalms 139 verse 7 he brings this out even clearer Psalms 139 verse 7. he says whether shall I go from thy spirit and whether shall I flee from thy presence if I send up into heaven Thou Art there if I make my bed in hell behold Thou Art there if I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea even there shall not hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me not only is God an invisible Spirit but according to scripture God is an all-present spirit is an all-present spirit the Apostle Paul stood up on Mars Hill in Acts chapter 17 verse 21 the Apostle Paul stood up on Mars Hill and you got to get the scenery of Mars Hill Mars Hill was where all the philosophers would meet Mars Hill was Yale Harvard and Beckley all on steroids all right Mars Hill was all the philosophers were made Mars Hill was where all the people would erect monuments to their gods Paul went to Mars Hill verse number 21 Acts chapter 17 verse 21 Paul stood in the midst of Beckley and Yale and Harvard and all these places for all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else but either to tell or to hear some new thing isn't that interesting then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said you men of Athens I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious that word there is religious he said you all are searching for God in so many different directions you're searching for God in so many different directions verse 23 for as I pass by and beheld your devotion said I came by and stood and watched you worship Him your devotions I found an altar with this inscription to the unknown God can't you can't you see them all get together and they had a God the Stars a god they ever planted a God to ever plant a god-to-ever animal they had a God to ever everything they could imagine to have a God and finally one bright light bulb spoke up and said hey what if we don't know him what if there's a God that we don't know he said get your chisels out boys let's let's chisel out an altar and let's put on it to the unknown God God we if we don't know you we're worshiping you he said to the unknown God whom you here's that word again ignorantly worship him declare I unto you now here's he's going to talk about the unknown God here God that made the world and all that they're in the All Things therein seeing that he is Lord of Heaven and Earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands neither is worship with man's hands as though he needeth anything seeing he giveth to all life bread and all things now here's what he said he said now this unknown God let me tell you about him he don't live in a house you've got to understand this unknown God I want to tell you about does it live in a house he said not only that I want to inform you that this unknown God doesn't need your help he doesn't need your Aid he doesn't need you to carry him he doesn't need you at all you see when we really don't understand the god of the Bible we can be led to thinking God needs our help God needs my money God needs my talent God needs my intellect God needs me God doesn't need any of us but the very opposite we need him we need our God we we need him he doesn't need us he said he said he doesn't dwell in your temples he does it he's not in verse 25 because he worshiped with man's hands as though he needeth anything see if he giveth to all life and breath and all things and hath made of one blood all men have made up one blood of men for to dwell on the face of the Earth and that determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation can I tell you something I don't care what race it is I don't care what nationality culture all that cut them what comes out blood because whether you're white black or whatever color there was one God that made us and he made us for one blood we are all of the same blood and it's the blood of our creator and and and not only that God is so wise that God even knew when you were going to be born he even knew what century you would be born in you're sitting here today but in eternity past God was so such wisdom already knew what century he would be born in who your parents would be and God is even got the days of your life number what a God and he goes on in verse 27 and he says that they should seek the Lord if happily now this word happily there means by chance if they should seek the Lord they should seek the Lord that if happily or by chance they might feel after him they might feel after him and find him you're not going to find your God by building a temple you're not going to find your God by erecting a monument you're going to find your God when you begin to feel after him not think after him not think after him you're never going to think your way into worship you're never going to think intellect into worship if you you've got to understand worship bypasses the intellect the intellect will say well this is what I want to give God that's not how you worship him they that worship Him must worship Him and spirit and in truth so so when you're talking about feeling it's it's using the spirit if happily if happily if by if by chance they might feel after him and find him follow along now though he be not far from every one of us how in the world is this God not far away from every one of us verse 28 for in him we live and move and have our being you know what he was saying there he was talking about the all-present God he was talking about the spirit of God and he was simply saying if you would just feel after him do you realize that God is as close as your worship is to him do you know he can be in a Pew or he can be in a car it can be in front of the kitchen sink he can be going about your chores but if you'll begin to talk about that name of Jesus he is right there with you that is what that's what worship is all about child of God please don't limit your worship to this building this building is wonderful for what we're doing right now I'm educating you about our God that's why we have a church that's why by your kids are in Sunday school to be educated about God but don't limit your God just to this building he can be in your afternoon he can be in the midst of any trouble or trial or Temptation he's as close as just the word in him we live and we move come on could you give him some praise right now watch Paul as he masterfully weaves this around verse 27 that they should seek the Lord if happily they may feel after him and find him though he be not far from every one of us for in him we live and move and have our being as certain also of your own poets have said for we are also his offspring somebody building all those temples said wait a minute we may be The Offspring of God wait a minute God may not look like a building or a Monument we may be The Offspring of God as certain also of your poets have said for we are also his offspring for as much then as we are The Offspring of God Paul said your poet said it but he's exactly right We Are The Offspring of God we ought not to think of the god that the godhead is likened to gold or silver or stone Graven by heart and man's device in other words he said stop thinking about the godhead like you knew a building stop thinking about the godhead like you believe some kind of Temple that you've built stop thinking when you're thinking of God we'll we'll build this we'll build this building here he says in verse 30 at the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent because he hath appointed today watch him now he hath appointed today in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he up ordained and appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man that he hath ordained whereof he hath given Assurance unto all men that he hath raised him from the dead and when they had heard of the resurrection of the Dead some mocked others said we will hear this man again this matter Paul masterfully brought their false worship full circle all the way back around to God who is a spirit though he be not very far from any of us God who is a spirit that if we happily we live we move and we live in him and he brought it right back around to the god head and he said don't think about the godhead like a building or a temple that you built and he brought it right back around to where the godhead dwells and he brought it to Jesus Christ our worship today of God the reason that we need to worship God today is because God is a spirit stop stop thinking about what what does he get out of hand clapping what does he get out of hand clapping what he gets out of hand clapping is that I am submitted to his word and it's in my spirit and I say God if you say in your word to clap your hands unto the Lord I'm putting them together today I'm going to clap my hands unto the Lord well what good does he get out of lifting your hands I tell you what good he does my heart is in God and I'm going to lift my hands and I'm going to give him praise God is all present God is all present we live in a religious world today that has passed down through hundreds of years that Jesus is one of the persons in the godhead but Colossians 2 and 8 plainly tell us to beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ verse 9 for in him dwelleth all of the fullness of the godhead bodily oh I worship you this morning when God manifested himself in the flesh he was still God he was still God in John chapter 4 verse number 49 a father came from many miles away he took him over a Day's Journey because his son child was about to die in verse 49 of John 4 join with me the nobleman saith unto him sir come down air my child die Jesus say up unto him go thy way thy faith thy son liveth and the man believed the word of the Lord that Jesus had spoken unto him and he went his way and as he was now going down his servants met him and told him saying thy son liveth he he left his boy at the point of death and about a day later he's making his way back because he's believed what Jesus said in a the servant came and said your son liveth then inquired he of them the hour when he began to amend or he began to get better and they said yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him so the father knew that it was at that same hour into which Jesus said unto him thy son liveth and himself believed and his own house the man said could you tell me when my boy got to feeling better they said yesterday about the seventh hour and it dawned on him it's taken me almost a day to get back here but yesterday about the seventh hour Jesus said your son will be healed you see as a man Jesus only covered the ground that his two feet were upon but as almighty God he could stand in one place and heal somebody 500 miles away why because he is God that's why you ought to worship God in spirit because he's here today that's that's why we worship Him come on would you give him some praise today God only receives our worship through our spirit God only receives our worship through our spirit in Exodus 20 verse one through four part of the Ten Commandments and God spake all these words saying I am the Lord thy God which hath brought thee out of the land of Egypt out of the house of bondage Thou shalt have no other gods before me Thou shalt not make unto thee any Graven image or any likeness of anything that is in the heaven above or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the Earth God placed off limits he would forbid that we would make any kind of object and worship him through that object we do not worship God through a statue we don't worship God through paintings we don't worship God through crosses crosses are beautiful and they remind us about our God but we are not to fix our gaze upon a cross as if to say I've got to be looking at this cross in order to get a in touch with my God God said that is forbidden that is forbidden the easiest thing you would ever do would be to build something to look at it because that's man's works and you would look at it as if to say I can get to God through this but God says I want you to develop your faith I want you to develop your faith in my word I want you I am an invisible God that's why you're going to worship to the Heathen they're going to see you laying a sacrifice across an altar they're going to see you standing and crying out into the nothing they're going to see you worshiping out into the nothing you don't look like the Egyptians the Egyptians have got bulls and goats and they've got all kinds of statues and it looks so it looks so conceivable for you to do that but God says that's not the way that you're going to worship me because I'm not gold I'm not brick I'm not mortar I'm not any kind of animal down here on this Earth I am a spirit and if you're going to worship me you're going to worship through the spirit that is within you and we're going to connect those two spirits oh somebody giving praise today the Bible says Psalms 95 verse 2. let us come before his presence with Thanksgiving and and Make a Joyful Noise unto him with songs or songs or songs the Bible said come before his presence with Thanksgiving church this is what we do I was glad when they sent it to me it's Sunday morning at 10 o'clock I was glad I would hate to I would hate to imagine a life brother Lawless I would hate to imagine a life without a Sunday I would hate to imagine that my life didn't have one day in it that was set apart for God and on that one day I could not only bring my hurts to the house of God I could bring my blessings to the house of God I cannot imagine not having a place to bring my marriage not having a place to bring my children I couldn't imagine I couldn't imagine not having this place that's why God said I'm going to give you a place and when I give you the place walk in it with Thanksgiving step in it with songs get the choir to sing and get somebody saying how great thou art because that that is the way that I am too be worshiped Psalms 100 verse number 1 Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord all you land serve the Lord with gladness come before his presence with singing know ye that the Lord he is God it is he that made us and not we ourselves we are his people in the Sheep of his Pastor enter into his gates with Thanksgiving and to his courts with praise be thankful unto him and bless his name for the Lord is good his Mercy is Everlasting and his truth endure to all generations that's why we're worshiping this morning that's the only way that God can change our lives that's the only way that God can use us as a witness in this last day is that you and I get this disengaged and get this engaged and begin to give God the praise and the glory and the honor forever and ever and ever I worship God because in all of us is either a dead spirit or a Living spirit in this room today you either have one or the other you either have a dead spirit or you have a Living spirit the Bible says in Psalm excuse me Genesis 2 and 7 Genesis 2 and 7. and the Lord God formed man of the Dust of the ground and breathed and breathed into his nostrils the Breath of Life and Man became a living soul when God breathed into the nostrils Man became something the animals were not the animals are living but the animals have not a living soul when God breathed into the nostals of Adam 's eyes blinked a few times he looked into the eyes of his creator and he was able to commune with his creator Adam looked up at God and knew that you're my creator you're good Your Love you're my creator God looked down into the eyes of Adam and God loved him as a father would love a son and there was this wonderful relationship that was between this God who is Spirit and this man who has a Living spirit from God a Living spirit a way of communicating but in Genesis chapter 2 and verse 17 God said to Adam but of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil thou shall not eat of it for in the day that thou eatest thereof Thou shalt surely die and we know the Bible is not inconsistent but Adam ate from the tree and Adam did not die on that day as a matter of fact the Bible will tell us that Adam lived hundreds of years after he ate did God change his mind oh no Adam did die Adam died spiritually Adam lost the ability to connect his spirit to his mind he lost the ability to make the right decisions he lost the ability to understand that when God comes run to meet him he lost all of that he has within him now a mind but his spirit his spirit is dead God because he's righteous and holy cannot once like he did commune with Adam and Adam because he is sinful begins to lack the intellect to connect him to God verse 22 of chapter 3 Adam and Eve have fallen they both now possess dead spirits the Lord God said behold the man has become as one of us to know good and evil and now lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat and live forever therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken so he drove out the man and placed at the east of the Garden of Eden cherubim's flaming sword which turned every way to keep the way of the Tree of Life so God said Adam is not going to go in his dead spirit relationship and eat from a tree and live forever and so God banned Adam he banned Adam from the Garden of Eden from life but we all know that our God loves us and our God had an awesome plan before the foundation of the world the plan was that God would become what he created in Genesis that God would become already in the mind of God before he made the first Adam that was of this Earth before he ever made the first Adam that was of this Earth he already had in his mind there would be a second but he would be the Lord from Glory and so God already had the Plan of Redemption in his mind think about what God has went through and planned in order to save you and I all because he wants to breathe back in you one more time Jesus had died on the cross Jesus had rose from the dead Jesus had talked to his disciples and just for a moment in John 20 and verse 22 please keep in mind the timeline here Jesus has died for the sins of the world on the cross Jesus has been buried he is rose again proving that he is God he has spent several weeks with the disciples and now he's about to leave and in John chapter 20 verse number 22. he comes upon his disciples and he says these words and when he had said this he breathed on them and saith unto them receive ye the Holy Ghost now they did not receive the Holy Ghost in John 20 22. they did not receive the Holy Ghost there because just a little bit later he's going to say don't leave Jerusalem until you be filled with the power of the promise of the father don't leave Jerusalem until you've been filled so what was he doing I'll tell you what he was doing he was giving a small little Prelude he was coming to them and he was breathing on them connecting the original Creation in the garden when God breathed into Adam and Adam became a living Soul he is breathing on them as if to connect the dots to them and say in just a few weeks in just a few days a wind is going to come from heaven and you're going to be filled with the spirit of God and when you are filled with the spirit of God connect these two things together I am putting my life back into you we are powerless without God's spirit we are no match for life without God's spirit you don't have the ability to cope without God's spirit you can't walk another day without God's spirit but oh give me God's spirit give me God's spirit and I can stand and say greater is he that is within you than he that is in the world give me God's spirit oh give me God's spirit will you stand with me right now give me God's spirit Jesus said in Jesus told them in Acts chapter 1 verse number eight Acts chapter 1 verse number eight but you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be Witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and into the uttermost part of the earth can I can I can I help us today can I help all of us today from the bottom of my pleading heart too many times we think church is All About Us arriving at death wealthy and healthy if I just get through this life pamper Me Lord pamper me God I want to be successful god well I have a lot of money God I want my marriage to be intact God I want my kids I get it I get it I get it but you have set your bar so low do you know the most exciting work you'll ever be in is to realize that God didn't breathe his breath into you so you can drive a new car foreign God didn't breathe his breath into you so that you can have a name tag on your door at the office God didn't breathe his breath into you so that you can have enough money and all that all of that God's going to take care of you hear me God take care of all that but when the church becomes just a place to where we're going to minister and pamper to the Saints having a bad day bless your heart we're going to pray for your day step right across from a woman it's got cut marks all up and down her arm because after all churches just about pamper me come on Church you really you really and there's there's a lot of people they just keep up rooting their lives they'll just go to one church and you know they get pampered enough there and just kind of I just don't feel like I just don't I just don't feel like you know I just kind of don't feel like I I think I'll go somewhere else you know you know what the real issue is with you you're never going to find that in your heart Until you realize God breathed his breath into you so that you can breathe on somebody else can read on somebody else if you can breathe on somebody else and you can breathe on somebody else hey there is a county here called Blount County that is desperately needing the Apostolic Church to come and breathe on them and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were all with one Accord in one place and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing Mighty Wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and there appeared to them clothing tongues like as a fire and it's set upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance oh I want to breathe on someone today if you don't have the Holy Ghost if you don't have the Holy Ghost oh friend you've not yet begun to live because you can't even worship God you have to follow me right you can't even worship god without having the Holy Ghost it's that God connection between here and there when I get the Holy Ghost I can connect with God but not only that now that I'm connected to God I can walk through my community and I can begin to breathe on people and they can get this too our lifeline our lifeline is God's spirit our lifeline is God's spirit a tornado could come through here and take all this building and reduce it to where they'd be bringing big big tractors in cooking on dump trucks and taking it down to the landfill but that's that's not our Lifeline right here this is not our Lifeline right here our Lifeline is God's spirit I've got to have God's spirit I have got to have God's spirit on the inside of me I'm desperate for God's spirit I I can't make it without God's spirit the burden is too heavy without God's spirit come on worship with me right now worship with me right now I can't make it without God's spirit say that confess that I can't make you this is a coincidence that you can't get a verse or two in the Bible in Genesis 1 in verse 2. the Earth was without form and boy and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit a god moved you can't go far in your Bible without God saying I need to introduce you to something I need to tell you why all this is here I'm not going to create a world and then tell you the spirit did it I'm going to show you what it looked like before I moved and I'll show you what it looks like after I move and the spirit moved I do not think it's a coincidence that in the first book of your Bible and in the second verse God introduces himself and the spirit mood neither do I think it's a coincidence that in the last chapter of your Bible Revelation 22. and verse 17. close to the last verse in your Bible says and the spirit and the bride say come and let him that hear us say come and let him that is a thirst come and whosoever will let him take of the Water of Life freely you listen to me he opens himself up in Genesis saying I'm going to create he closes it out by saying I'm now with my bride and my bride and I both are issuing you an invitation come you want the spirit of God this morning you want to be baptized with the Holy Ghost this morning come you want God to breathe on you this morning come you want God to breathe on you right now be willing to see it as your lifeline I don't care what anybody thinks about me I'm going to step out of my Pew and I'm going to walk to the front of this building and I'm going to lift my hands because I want the holy Breath of God to cheeks start coming back folks it's the same way with the spirit we ever we ever get to where we as individuals we ever get to where we we just can Coast on through life and we can make it without him we begin to lose our color and we begin to get anemic weekend to get weak and we can't cope with life and we shut down and we isolate ourselves but get me back to church on Sunday morning and and let
