as you're looking looking for Ezekiel 11 verse number 14 as you're looking for that passage of scripture Ezekiel 1114 I want to tell you that uh many of you may have seen an email uh that's circulating on Facebook and social media sites about the closure of William Blunt Drive uh tonight at 7 pm and I think it's going to be several nights this week that they're going to close and this is what we need we've been informed of it only affects it only affects the area down at 411 where William Blunt dead ends into 411 the new Wiles that they put in right there it's going to affect that area and they'll be rerouting but it's not going to affect this area here what we have been told it's not going to affect the area here in front of the church so having said that tonight at 6:00 we'll start a great Evangelistic service and uh I remember one time we had a a a gas line rupture on on William Blunt drive on a Wednesday evening and they came and an officer knocked on the door of the church and I was there early studying and he said sir he said we're going to have to close uh we're going have to close Willam blunt drive down and um um we got to get this gas line fixed and I told him I totally understood that we did everything we could I think it was back before the day of of uh us webcasting and all that but we did everything we could but the saints of God they lined up down 311 to turn on to William Blunt and the officers were going from car to car telling them William Blunt's closed and U of course I had told the officer I said uh we you know I said we'll cancel cancel our service tonight and so he comes up to Isaac Kirby's window and he knocks on I Isaac kiry's window and he says he Isaac says sir I we're having church tonight and he said oh no they've cancel that service he said no you don't know my pastor said we don't cancel for nothing said we don't we don't said well I promise you we're going to cancel we're going to cancel for tonight so uh that that email only affects what we have been told only affects the end of the road down there amen one last thing I want to say I want to welcome my friend here today drives all the way down from Dayton Ohio just to hear me preach he's a wonderful young man named Jonah friend and comes down loves me to death just just just you know wants me to Mentor him and um and the side note is he's paris's friend too so we're we're so Jonas we're glad to have you at First Apostolic this morning brother sister Erikson are down in Louisiana preaching a conference for brother Donovan Hill today they'll be coming home tonight we look forward to that are you ready for the word this morning Ezekiel 11:14 again the word of the Lord came unto me saying son of man thy Brethren even thy Brethren the men of thy Kindred and all the house of Israel holy are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said get you far from the Lord unto us is this land given in possession therefore say thus sayith the Lord God although I have cast them far off among the Heathen and although I have scattered them among the countries yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come therefore say thus sayith the Lord God I will even gather you from the people and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered and I will give you the land of Israel and they shall come thither and they shall take away the detestable things thereof and all the Abominations thereof from then look at verse 19 with me closely and I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within you and will take away the Stony heart out of their flesh and will give them a heart of Flesh I want to preach this morning to you for a few moments on this simple title the real life life the real life father I love you this morning I thank you for your word I thank you God for how that in your master plan it pleased you that by the preaching of foolishness God as we the the foolishness of preaching Lord that you would save them that would believe Lord I ask today that you would anoint my lips of clay Lord let me speak this word this morning in this congregation someone is here that needs to be reminded and someone is here that needs to be informed that there is a real life for them to live in Jesus mighty name we all pray today amen and amen you may be seated this morning the real the real life as we read our Bibles from cover to cover we discover very quickly that God is a god of life he is a god of Life why don't we all say that word together life when we all say it together life life why don't we all say it together today life he is a God he is a god of life we uh we find that when God first appears in the Bible in the Book of Genesis that God comes upon on a place of chaos and deadness but when God enters life enters because God brings life we find as we go through our Bible from Genesis 1:20 that the Bible said let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that ha life Genesis 1:30 and every beast of the earth to every fowl of the air and to everything that creepeth upon the Earth wherein there is life we find in Genesis 2 and7 that when God created man and formed man from the dust of the ground he breathed into the nostrils of man the breath of life it seemed like I I want to I want to present a the case that our God our God today is a god of is a god of life and because he is a god of life it is the real life it is the real life we go on I'm really not finished even scratching the surface about God being a god of life he not only breathed into man and the Breath of Life the Bible said that in Genesis uh 2 and9 out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is Pleasant in to the sight and good for food the tree of you get that the Tree of Life the Tree of Life uh is is is there in in in the garden it is the tree it is the tree of of life that is there well we we understand that when man sinned when man sin that God life that real life left him that real life forsook or that real life came out of him he is no longer living in the real life if you can remember and I remember this as a young child if you've ever got the breath knocked out of you oh that's a that's a miserable seems like eternity when you get the breath knocked out of you and you finally catch your breath well if you could just realize when man sinned in the garden that he got the god breath knocked out of of him and when he began to breathe again he was breathing nothing but a man's breath and a man's life of course we understand that God in his mighty wisdom God in his mighty wisdom had a plan to put the breath back in him he wanted to put life back in him of which we're all grateful today that we Embrace a merciful god and a loving God that it was his plan to put the breath back into us because when God became a man and was born at Bethlehem John 1:4 describes him this way John 1 and4 in him was life and the life was the light of man man was living in darkness because man only had his breath he had man's breath and he was living he was living in darkness but God had a plan and God was going to bring life to the man and the life was going to be the light the light of men scripture tells us in one of the most uh popular well-versed scriptures in all the Bible John 316 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believeth in him should not perish but have what kind of Life everlasting life what you what are you talking about ever ever we're talking about everlasting life it is a life that is Everlasting it is this Everlasting Divine life that God gives many places in the Bible John 5:24 Jesus said verely verely I say unto you he that heareth my word that's why it's important today you can't have eternal life outside of God's word the only book that promises and delivers eternal life is the word of God aren't you thankful for your Bible today is the word of God listen to this verse John 5:24 verily I say unto you he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but is pass from Death unto life and other words man is really dead we think we're alive but we're really dead we're not alive until we have the Breath of Life placed back on the inside of us amen when we go on and I I just kind of want to lay a foundation here Revelation 20 and 15 Revelation 20 and 15 the great Judgment of all people the great Judgment of all people this is what's going to happen on that day and whosoever was not found written in the book of wow what a God we serve he's a got a tree of life he he breathes the breath of life he gives everlasting life and now he has the book The Book of Life now I'm going to tell you something man is born dead he is born dead although there's a cry made and we announce the birth the man is actually dead to God and this is why we must be born again you see if you're not born again you'll die twice you'll die a physical death and then you'll die an eternal death in a place called hell that's you will die twice if you're only born once and that's of that's of the natural birth you'll die twice you'll die a physical birth and then you will die a spiritual birth you will be placed in that place called hell but if you are born again amen if you are born again and I I like to play with words a lot of times and you spell born again if you'll take the A and move the A on the word again you'll have a gain and whenever you're born again it's the greatest game that you've ever had in all of your in all of your life I'm glad I've been born again amen I'm so thankful today that I have been born again I have been born again now if you're born again if you're born again if you're born sound like a from Canada now don't yeah like brother Woodward if I'm born again and I've often told them they sing a little song up there uh uh I'm standing under the spoot where the glory comes oot and I said down South we sing I'm standing under the spout where the glory comes out amen but uh if you're born again if you're born again you may only die once you may only die once if you're born again if you're born twice you may only die once because if you're alive at the Rapture in a moment in the twinkling of an eye you're going to be changed and we're going to have life Immortal we're going to have enter into that everlasting life now if you miss the Rapture and you stand before God at the great white Throne you better pray that your name is written in the Book of Life why if your name is not there you're cast into that second death which is called hell Revelation CH 21 in verse 6 I'm spending little time on my Foundation here Revelation CH 216 and he said unto me it is done I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end I will give unto him that is a thirst of the Fountain of the Water of Life freely so we serve this God today that is a god of he is a god of life now let's go back to my text in Ezekiel for a moment we know that Solomon King Solomon the third king of Israel plunged Israel plunged Israel God's people plunged God's people into gross idolatry he plunged God's people into gross sin and because Solomon plunged them into sin Ezekiel Ezekiel gives us a vision of that and it is the glory has departed God's presence God's presence as you read the book of Ezekiel he showed these Angelic beings that represent the glory of God hovering over Jerusalem and the the the these uh these creatures that represent God's presence are hovering over Jerusalem because that's what makes Jerusalem so special is God's presence matter of fact that's what makes a a a a church building special is not the architectural Grandeur of the building it's not the beauty of stained glass windows but what makes the building so beautiful is the glory of God is upon that building and that's what sets it apart as a matter of fact what makes a person beautiful is not necessarily having the right chin and the right nose and the right color of eyes and on and on and on but what makes a person beautiful is when the glory and the power of God is upon that upon that person but Ezekiel gives us a glimpse of the glory hovering over Jerusalem and then something happens the glory lifts off of Jerusalem and the glory go goes and sets up a mountain and then it sets up a mountain and then it's gone for the glory God's presence has departed from the land of Israel and then God says they're going to come and they're going to take you into Babylonian captivity and Assyrian captivity they're going to totally destroy Jerusalem Jerusalem now a thriving bustling city of songs and scripture and worship and the glory of God now becomes a place that looks like a hurricane a tornado an earthquake has all just ravished and raped there's no building there that's recognizable the temple is not only is no longer recognizable and there God's people are taken and one one uh Bible scholar said how that the Babylonians and the Assyrians would transport massive a number of captives was much like the oldfashioned what we would call a trot line where you would take a long fishing line and put several Hooks and you you you you put it out in the river and uh it's called a trot line that they would take Hooks and they would put them through the noses of the people and they would SP face it out and put another person and some 50 people could possibly be taken captive by one man and led because of the hook that was placed through their nose there they were taken into Babylonian captivity there they were taken into a Syrian captivity for a number of years but God began to make a promise he told them that even though you are in a Strange Land you are you are in baby you are in Assyria you're in a Strange Land with a strange tongue did you did you catch that one little mercy of God brother clayon that said even when they take you there I will be a little Sanctuary for you I'll be a little I'm going to tell you something prodal can get out of God's hand but I believe a lot of times God just creates a bubble over some of those prodal it's a Mama's Prayer it's a daddy's prayer pray it's a grandparents prayer you know some of them they'll call they say well I I had a wreck the other night Meo and I I I I really should have been killed you know you know what I I'm going to tell you why you weren't killed God plac that little Sanctuary he had a little Sanctuary I hope I encourage somebody today that may have a prodal son or daughter or a grandchild that's breaking your heart right now don't lose faith God is able to give them a little Sanctuary wherever wherever they go God is able to give them a little Sanctuary but God's ultimate plan he said after you've been there he said I'm going to bring you back he said I'm going to I'm going to bring you I'm I'm going to bring you I'm going to bring you I'm going to bring you back and uh they were brought back to Jerusalem and that's where we get zerubabel and Ezra and sister Carpenter Nehemiah we get all these uh we get all these books in the Bible where uh they found favor with foreign Heathen Kings and they would go back and they would begin to rebuild of course it it looked nothing it looked absolutely nothing like what they had left it it looked absolutely nothing like it was in the very beginning as a matter of fact when Ezra when they rebuilt the temple and they laid the foundation for the temple there was a mixture of emotions there that day there was a mixture of emotions the young people that had never seen Jerusalem the children that were born in captivity they had never seen Jerusalem in her glory the children began to Rejoice because they were going to have a place of worship and they watched as the they laid the foundations and they they begin they they just begin to they be they begin to Rejoice but the Bible said the old men that had witnessed the glory of Jerusalem tears begin to stream down their faces because they remember that it's looking nothing like like what it looked like in its former in its former glory and Ezekiel and Nehemiah and the prophets they begin to they begin to rebuild and they did rebuild they did rebuild the Temple but you see let's not be sidetracked there's more to the promise than just the land God said I got to bring you back to the land so that I could give you a new heart and give you a new spirit I've got to bring you back to the land because I've got more than just bringing you to back to the land I want to change your heart I want to give you I want to give you a new spirit go with me if you would to Ezekiel 36 in verse number 22 now Ezekiel will continue this prophecy it's more than just giving you a land it's more than just giving you your temple back because remember remember what I told you Ezekiel also saw he saw the glory of God that made the difference in Jerusalem Jerusalem is just another city of architectural Grandeur but when the glory of God comes down upon it the Queen of Sheba will say the half was never told me so you got to remember you got to keep that in mind it's more than just a building it's more than just a land Ezekiel 362 22 therefore say unto the house of Israel thus sayeth the Lord God I do not this for your sakes oh House of Israel but for my holy name's sake which you have profaned among the Heathen whether you went now you got to understand something about God you got to understand something about God God Is Not An egotist but God does want his name out there why does God want his name out there because because it's the only name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved you you see God is saying to them I I I do love you and I'm do bring I am bringing you back but I want you to know it's not for you only don't get selfish don't think it's all about you but it's for my holy name's sake which you have profaned among the Heathen whether you went verse 23 and I will sanctify my great name I'll separate my great name name which you have profaned among the Heathen which you have profaned in the midst of them and the Heathen shall know that I am the Lord sayeth the Lord God when I shall sanctify you before their eyes he said now I'm going I'm not only going to make my name known he said but I'm going I'm going to do something to you that's going to sanctify that word means separate you before the heathen's eyes I'm going to do something I'm going to do something for you Ezekiel is prophesying I'm going to do something for you that's going to separate you and before the Heathen they're going to see you different than they ever have before verse number verse number 24 for I will take you from among the Heathen and gather you out of the of all countries and will bring you into your own land here we're coming back again I'm coming back to my land then I shall sprinkle clean water upon you and you shall be CLE clean from all your filthiness and from all your Idols I will cleanse you a new heart sound familiar a new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you I will take away the Stony heart out of your flesh and I will give you a heart of Flesh I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statues and you shall keep my judgments and do them and you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers and you shall be my people and I will be your God now watch this now God's spirit Or Glory has departed it departed because Solomon plunged him into sin and when God's spirit departed they totally totally destroyed the city of Jerusalem they took the people into a strange country but God began to make promises I'm going to bring you back here I'm going to bring you back to this place but something something different's going to happen I'm going to cleanse you I'm going to wash you I'm going to give you a new heart and I'm going to put my spirit within you when did that happen it happened when the glory came back when did The Glory come back the glory of God came back to Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost when God took his people and brought his Spirit back down cuz it was never God's will to live in a little square box in a tabernacle called the holy of holies it was never God's will to live in a back room of a tent called the holy of holies it has always been the will of God since man got the Breath of Life knocked out of him God always wanted to get back inside not of a gold box but he wanted to get back into the heart of man and I got to preach it this morning morning that my friend is the real life the real life is not out there glorifying sin the real life is not letting your flesh do whatever it wants but the real life is when God breathes back into us and the glory oh aren't you glad for that real life this morning don't please don't be distracted by the land the land isn't the main purpose or Reason in the Bible oh no the real reason you'll hear this you will hear this verse of scripture spoken by Peter when the glory of God came back to Jerusalem you'll hear this verse of scripture Joel 2:28 it says in Joel 2:28 and it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon All Flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy your old men shall dream dreams and your young men shall see visions and also upon the servants and upon the handmaidens in those days I will pour out of my spirit now let me give you a the vast difference and why Joel prophesied and why when Joel Joel prophesied this was the verse of scripture that the Apostle Peter used when they gathered around and said these SE men are full of new wine well they're a bunch of drunks well how is it they're they're just drunk and all of this do you know it was Peter that lifted up his voice and he said let me show you a little scripture let me give you a little bible study here for these are not drunken as you suppose seeing it is but the third hour of the day but this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel that it would come to pass in the last day that I would pour out of my spirit but here's a changer here's a CH don't miss this upon All Flesh now in the Old Testament God's spirit came down upon Kings prophets and special people that's all it came down on and they all were Jews God's spirit came down on Kings prophets and special people Joseph was filled with the spirit of God Genesis 41:38 the men that buil the Tabernacle were filled with the spirit of God Exodus 313 Joshua was filled with the spirit of God numbers 27:18 upani was filled with the spirit of God judges 3:10 Gideon was filled with the spirit of God judges 6:34 jeffa was filled with the spirit of God judges 11:29 Samson was filled with the spirit of God judges 13:5 Saul in the King Saul was filled with the spirit of God 1st Samuel 10:9 David was filled with the spirit of God 1 Samuel 16:13 but what's going to be different about this why God is saying I'm going to bring you back to the land but it's not just about you coming back to Jerusalem and having a temple with a ritual of which they did have a ritual and it got quiet in God's kingdom they came back to Jerusalem rebuilt the temple and they they they they got back into a they got back into a ritual they got back into a ritual but here's the difference God said my vision and my goal is to bring you back to Jerusalem but at Jerusalem I'm going to give you a new heart and I'm going to put my spirit within you and it's going to cause you to walk in my ways and it's going to be he said Joel prophesy it it's going to be I'm going to pour out my spirit upon All Flesh I'm going to pour it out upon All Flesh and I'm glad I'm glad I'm glad today I I I I remember many years ago uh brother Gary Glascock he attended church here started coming to church him and sister Sandy started coming and uh about the Holy Ghost he had been taught he Gary Glascock had been taught that the Holy Ghost was real but the Holy Ghost was only for special people only for special people and said it's only for special people well I'll never forget that Sunday night up on the hill at the church up on the hill up on the front Pew when Gary Glascock got the Holy Ghost and he opened his eyes and guess what I greeted him with praise the Lord special person because the truth of the matter is when the glory left in ezekiel's day it left a place that was only Jews but when the glory came back on the day of Pentecost he put his spirit inside of them and it was going to be Jews and Gentiles and 3,000 years later I'm glad that I can preach he will pour out his Spirit upon All Flesh doesn't matter if you're Rich poor educated uneducated in trouble out of trouble in jail out of jail it doesn't matter where you're at this is the oh we should help me praise him right now now I'll tell you today we don't hear more of the Holy Ghost preach we don't hear more we don't hear a lot of the Holy Ghost preached in the denominal world today but I want I want you to know today if you're a guest here today we want the Holy Ghost to move we want the Holy Ghost to come and do whatever the Holy Ghost wants to do we welcome the Holy Ghost we welcome what happened in between the choir singing and the choir going down we welcome the move the moving of God but the Holy Ghost is not welcome everywhere because they want to control the Holy Ghost well I got news for you you can't control the Holy Ghost I got news for you you really don't want want to control the Holy Ghost because God knows far more than what you know and for you to get in the way of the Holy Ghost is for you to tell God you know more than God and you know you're an idiot you know you're not smart if you think that you you I'm sorry you know you're not smart did I say that again I'm glad I'm going of gain think about it upon All Flesh but they got into a ritual they got into a ritual and the two verses in the Bible close out with this Malachi 4 and 5 Malachi chapter 4 and 5 listen to this God said all right enough this religion behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and Dreadful day of the Lord he shall turn the heart of the fathers unto the children and the the heart of the children of their fathers lest I come and smite the Earth with the curse now I want you to know that Elijah never died Elijah was taken up to heaven in a chariot of fire but Elijah is coming back according to Revelation Elijah is coming back one day to stand upon on this Earth to be a witness and they will kill Elijah on that day but Elijah will come back he'll be bold he'll be Brazen he'll confront sin and he'll demand repentance he'll come and and he'll turn I like this he will turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children in the heart of the children I'm going to tell you we got a lot of family trouble today you know why we need some repentance preaching the denominal this trying to control the Holy Ghost has not helped our families out but I'm going to tell you the Holy Ghost will sure make your family a whole lot better if we can get the Holy Ghost back in our families he's bold Elijah is bold he confronts sin but in confronting and getting sin dealt with it's amazing a hardened Father's Heart begins to turn back to his children and hardened rebellious children begin to turn back to their fathers and the family unit comes together now today there is the person of Elijah that's coming back but before the person C come comes back 2,000 years ago God let the spirit of Elijah come upon a man yes in Luke 1 verse number 17 a child is born to an elderly couple by the name of Elizabeth and Zachariah Elizabeth and Zachariah is a priest they've never had children but an angel appears to Zachariah as he offers up incense in the temple the angel begins to tell them that Elizabeth who is called Baron is going to be a child and the angel begins to tell uh Zachariah about the child and we find it in Luke 1:17 the angel says to Zachariah and he shall go before him in the spirit and power of elij or Elijah to turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just to make ready a people prepared for the Lord look at this there Elijah is coming back in the Book of Revelation but God put the spirit of Elijah upon the Forerunner of Jesus Christ who was John the Baptist he he was bold he was Brazen he wasn't he didn't fit in the priesthood he wasn't wearing a robe dancing up and down the marble steps of the temple he's a man that comes out of the Wilderness wearing camel skin and got a a leather girdle around him and he eats honey and wild locust he's a man he's a voice in the wilderness and what he's saying repent turn to God Messiah is coming Messiah is coming the Lord is coming repent and it was more than just words because brother Hammond if we can preach with the glory of God upon us it becomes more than just words it's a sledgehammer to the hardened heart of a sinner it's just word I'm going to tell you you can preach the same message without the Holy Ghost and you get no results but you can preach the same message with the Holy Ghost and sinners come to the Altar and sinners begin to say what must I do to be saved oh John came out of the Wilderness he turned it upside down preaching he well here's what he preached Matthew chapter 3 verse number 11 somebody happy in the Lord today say Amen anybody happy you got the real life today aren't you thankful we're going through the Bible and we're finding out today I'm glad that we've got the real life Matthew 3:11 listen to John listen to John listen to him I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I'm not worthy to Bear he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost I'm tell the glory is coming back Ezekiel Ezekiel I see it right now the glory is coming back he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire John later in John chapter the the Gospel of John chapter 1 verse number 33 John kind of tells a little bit about baptizing Jesus and John says and I knew him not said I didn't know him said there was a person that came to be baptized and I knew him not but he that sent me to baptize with water the same said unto me upon whom Thou shalt see the spirit of God descending and remaining on him the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost he said man he said God Gave Me A Sign I'm so glad today that God is into giving us signs amen you know why God gives us a sign so that we know we're following a Bible commandment he gives us a sign God gave a promise to Noah he said I will never again destroy the Earth with a flood and I'll give you the sign it don't mean what it means today don't you fall prey to that liberal stuff he said I'll give you the sign of a rainbow and I think God I don't want to get off on this today but I do think it very odd that a group that would want to present themselves as free to do whatever they wanted to do would want to be under the banner of a rainbow can I tell you we need to do that like we've done music it doesn't belong there we need to take it back a rainbow represents that God will keep his word God is in the giv a signs and the Shepherds beheld and the Angels were singing Glory to God in the highest peace on Earth Good Will to toward men for unto you this day is born in the city of David he's talking to the Shepherds now the angels are talking to the Shepherds now for unto you is Born This Day in the city of David that's the place a savior which is Christ the lord and you shall find him wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a Manger what why' you have to say that for because God says I w't give you some signs so you know you found the real savior he said to John he said John he said you going to baptize somebody one day and he said when you this this this individual said I'm going to give you a sign you're going to see the glory here we go again you're going to see the glory of God coming down you're going to see the glory of God coming down and it's going to light upon this person that's the one that's going to baptize you with the Holy Ghost Ezekiel Saw The Glory leaving the building but John was going to see that Jesus was not just an ordinary man he was the fullness of the godhead bodily he was the glory of God Almighty upon the Earth signs John signs John then Jesus in John chapter 7 verse number 37 and once again if you read the chapter you'll find Jesus was at a cold cold religious ceremony it was a cold religious ceremony they poured water from silver pictures that represented Redemption they took water the priest came out single file and took water in silver pictures and they poured it down the marble steps of the temple to say that one day Redemptive waters are going to come it was cold it was a religion it was cold but Jesus there in the midst of that cold religion John 7:37 in the last day that great day of the feast Jesus stood and cried saying If any man thirst let him come unto me and drink he that believeth on me as the scripture has said you can't believe any old way you want to believe you got to believe as the scripture has said out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water but this spake he of the spirit which they that believe on him should receive for the Holy Ghost was not yet given because Jesus was not yet crucified Jesus looked at that cold religion he looked at that cold religion that didn't give a promise he looked at that cold religion and he said If any man is thirsty let him come unto me and drink he that will believe on me as the scripture has said out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water this spake he of the Holy Ghost which they that believe on him should receive but the Holy Ghost was not yet given because Jesus had not yet been glorified how is he glorified here's how he's glorified he was glorified when he was crucified when he was put to death they looked upon him and they saw that he had been crucified they looked upon him when he was buried in a tomb when he was buried the corpse was buried but what glorified him what set him apart to prove Pro beyond the shadow of a doubt that this is the son of the Living God what proves beyond the shadow of a doubt we don't worship today because of Miracles of blind eyes opening we don't worship today because of past miracles of water turned into wine we don't worship today because Lazarus was raised from the dead and the Widow son was raised from the dead we worship Jesus today because there's an empty tomb in Jerusalem and we serve a risen savior that's why we going to Calvary in John 14 and verse 16 listen to these words they're really troubled the beginning of John 14 begins with him saying I'm going away they were saddened they were saddened that he was talking about going away but Jesus in John 14:16 he says I will pray the father and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever the Greek word for comforter simply means one called to the side of another called to one side to help them one who pleads another's cause before a judge a pleader a counsel for defense a legal assistant an advocate one who pleads another's case with one an intercessor he said I'm going to give you another comforter I'm going to give you another Aid I have been a comforter what must mother-in-law what must it have been like to have walked with Jesus Christ after a period of time nothing nothing stands in your way no food no problem give him what you got water in front of us no problem he can walk on water dead he can conquer it sickness he can conquer it I don't know about you but they had the fullest of comfort and confidence in him but now he says I'm about to go away but I'm going to send you another comforter I have come to be with you 33 years in six months but when I give you another comforter he's going to be with you forever verse 17 verse 17 listen to Jesus he said I'm going to give you another comforter going to be with you forever even the spirit of Truth look at that with me the a spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not neither knoweth him but you know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you now let me explain this we have the person of Truth when God became a man God became a man man Jesus Christ the man proclaimed this I am the way the truth he's the person of truth but the world doesn't recognize it the world you didn't come in our denomination you didn't come in our religious fashion you didn't come approving of our little twisted Bible verses you didn't come doing all that and because you didn't come like we thought thought you ought to come we don't accept you and we don't receive you but Jesus said I'm going to tell you I'm going I'm going to tell you these words he says here in in verse number I believe it's 17 even the spirit of Truth you got the person of truth but now you got the spirit of truth even the spirit even the spirit of Truth verse 17 whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not neither knoweth him listen he's talking to them but you know him I'm talking to you about a comforter I'm about to leave and I'm talking to you about a comforter you know him you know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you I imagine they had the same question that when Jesus said I and my father are one if you've seen me you've seen the father how sayest thou then show us the father he said have I been so long time with you and you don't recognize me he that has seen me has seen the father I reckon on that day when he said the comforter here maybe they begin to turn around until they heard these words he dwelleth with you and shall be in you I will verse the 18 I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you can I tell you today that the comforter is the holy Holy Ghost it's the spirit of God that's going to come down on Jerusalem of 120 but praise be to God we are an extension of a 2,000 year old church that still preaches and believes in the holy ghost coming down upon it we're still that church oh let me just for musicians would you come just for a few more moments just let let me let me preach to you when God manifested himself in the flesh at Bethlehem Jesus was born the person of Truth the baptism of the Holy Ghost is the spirit it is the spirit of truth that we receive look at John 14:26 Jesus is still talking about the comforter but the comforter which is the Holy Ghost whom the father will send in what's the holy ghost coming to coming coming in it's coming in a name it's coming in a name it's not coming in a title I I want to inform somebody too Christ is not his name Christ means anointed his name is Jesus and there's power in the name of Jesus religious circles religious and it goes all the way back it goes all the way back to 1700 something years ago when a religious movement was formed and they took the name out of
