if you have your bibles and would stand with me tonight and if you didn't bring your bible one will be provided for you on the screen first peter chapter 1 and verse number first peter chapter 1 verse number 13. somebody say praise the lord i was told this evening that my sister-in-law sister jeanette carpenter is here with us tonight and i'm going to tell you she is a walking talking breathing miracle if you would have told me a few months ago when we went to pray for her if you would have told me that she would be here i would have probably maybe not believed it but not only is she here but uh shortly after we prayed for a few months ago she came was baptized in jesus name and received heaven's sweet holy ghost and jeanette we're so glad to have you and uh i was told that several of the family there was just so glad so glad to see you i call her aunt jeanette she's my sister-in-law but uh i i've i you know she came in she came into my life when i was probably about 10 or 12 years old and she was always like an aunt so we always just called her aunt we just always called her aunt aunt jeanette and uh again aunt jeanette i'm just so glad that god filled you with the wonderful gift of the holy ghost and and uh you you should you should have been here it was it was great it was great i want to turn the corner just for a second turn the corner just for a second i just want to ask you a question before we pray how serious are you about serving the lord jesus christ how serious are you now that's just a thought-provoking statement question how serious are you do you know that as we approach what brother stumbo said the not yet time do you know that we're told over and over again to be sober-minded and of course that's not referring to drunkenness as far as alcohol is concerned but just sober-minded as far as the hour of knowing jesus christ and i'm going to read one verse of scripture and i really believe that your seriousness will manifest itself in the type of prayer that you pray to receive the word of god tonight it'll manifest itself because we're not just praying for pastor to be anointed that's a personal thing between me and god but you need to be praying tonight that you receive the word of god that you receive the word of god and that seriousness will be manifested in how you pray first peter chapter 1 verse 13 wherefore gird up the loins of your mind be sober and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of jesus christ could we pray we're about to enter the word of god father in the name of jesus tonight god lord i ask you lord to anoint once again god i've done it in private lord now i do it openly god lord i need your anointing tonight god these are your sheep god lord they're your people lord god i pray that i can articulate the word that i can communicate the word tonight holy ghost i need you upon me this evening lord holy ghost i need your fire god to be burning inside of my heart and mine lord i pray tonight that i can convey the word to these precious people that lives both young and old will be changed tonight in jesus mighty name we pray amen amen give the lord a hand of praise before you're seated thank you lord for what you're going to do tonight i want to minister to you tonight on the cost the cost of our salvation the cost of our salvation you've often heard it said that salvation is free that is a partially true statement but salvation cost our lord there was a cost that was attached to our salvation the apostle peter when writing to the church would warn them and caution them flash the lights of caution to them to gird up the loins of their minds to gird up the loins of their minds don't let their minds be distracted and divided it's the end of time peter is saying and you don't need to allow your minds to be distracted he talked about being sober he talked about having hope until the end at the revelation of jesus christ then verse 14 travel with me through these passages as obedient children will you say that with me as obedient children not fashioning yourselves according to the former lust in your ignorance now he's talking about the end of time and he says your mind doesn't need to be divided and then he's going to tell you what you should look like he says as obedient children as obedient children well you know as well as i do the opposite of obedience is disobedience and of course two types could be drawn from this an obedient child or a disobedient child now i can answer this for you an obedient child makes a parent very happy a disobedient child is a heaviness of heart to a parent we have a heavenly father and i want to strive is not like i have not ever before i want to strive i want to strive to be an obedient child i want to strive to be an obedient child and he says i don't want you to fashion yourselves this greek word here fashion is the same word that's used when paul said be not conformed to this world not fashioning yourselves according to your former according to the former lust in your ignorance in other words he's saying believer don't act like you once acted when you were in the world in your ignorance verse 15 but as he which hath called you is holy but as he which hath called you is holy so be ye holy in all manner of conversation now that word conversation there is not just talking about what we speak verbal talking to someone that word conversation is your manner of lifestyle not just holy at church the child of god the obedient child of god doesn't have two vocabularies a church vocabulary and a work vocabulary an obedient child of god doesn't have one way here in another way there in all areas of his or her life he is or she is holiness because as he which hath called you is holy so be ye holy in all manner of conversation because it is written now that's interesting peter is writing in the new testament he goes ahead and as a man of god commands the church to be holy then he backs it up that's just in case somebody's got in your mind that that holy living was in the old testament and now we're living in grace and mercy and we've been set free no we've not been set free from holiness and set us free from that so he says peter uses and says he's a new testament pastor apostle he commands the congregation to be ye holy then he uses the old testament verse 16 because it is written be holy for i am holy verse 17 and if ye call on the father who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work can i tell you god is without respect of persons that when we call on god god is not a respect of persons but do you know what he is judging us by he is judging us by every man's work now you we're here tonight as a collective corporate body but don't you ever get a false pretense from that you're going to stand before god and i'm going to stand before god on my own works on my own works judgeth according to every man's work past the time of your journeying here in fear you know what he's saying he is saying live your lives not in a fear that god's going to zap you but live your life in a a reverence that you are an obedient child of god live your life understand that god is no respecter of persons but understand individually we're going to be judged according to our individual works and he says pass the time live your life live your life make your decisions based on a reverence a reverence of god verse 18. for as much as ye know that you were not redeemed everybody said redeemed that's what bought us you were not redeemed with corruptable things as such as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers in other words he said now i want you to know that what redeemed you was precious what redeemed you what redeemed you was oh so precious what brought you out of that lifestyle was oh so precious verse 19 but with the precious blood of christ what makes something precious what makes something valuable i'll tell you what makes something precious and that's the scarcity of something what drives the price of something up is when there's not there's not a lot of that one thing there's only one in the world like it or two in the world like it and that drives it up can i tell you that our salvation ingredients there's only one and that is the precious that is the precious blood of christ the precious blood of christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you this blood this precious blood the only saving ingredients the precious blood the spotless blood and to me it's an encouragement when the enemy tries to discourage me or my flesh tries to discourage me about the love of god would you look at the length that he went to save us i mean he had the plan before he ever had the man it was the plan before the foundation of the world when he made man he made man with the probability of sin that the man the man could sin so god before he ever made man god went ahead and had this wonderful awesome plan and that would be that god would come to this earth as one of us with precious none like it before blood and he said he said it was it was revealed or manifest in these last times for you verse 21 who by him do believe in god that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in god seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth how did we purify our souls how did we purify our souls the blood is a cleansing right how did we purify our souls we purified our souls by obeying the truth now where i'm going tonight is the false teaching that gets to many people's ears that what saves us is the cross alone anything other than the cross is works well the foolish thing about that is the foolish thing about that is if the cross alone saved humanity if the cross alone saved humanity everybody's saved but you have to obey the plan purify your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren see that you love one another with a pure fervent a pure heart fervently listen to me god provided the plan we either respond with obedience or disobedience god provided the plan that's god's responsibility god provided the plan now what's your ex what's your response what's your response your response is either one of two things you either are obedient or you're disobedient you either accept the plan and obey the plan and you're saved or you're disobedient to the plan and you're lost here's the plan matthew 26 28 here's the plan this is what he did this is what the lord did matthew 26 28 this is what he did jesus said for this is my blood of the new testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins god provided the plan ephesians chapter 1 verse number 7 ephesians 1 and 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace thank you jesus for the plan thank you lord for the plan thank you lord for the plan but wait a minute the plan without our obedience were lost revelation 14 13 will bear this out we'll bear this out our response is needed for the cross of calvary to be effective our response is required in order for the blood of calvary to be effective revelation 14 13 and i heard a voice from heaven saying unto me i heard a voice in heaven saying unto me excuse me that i'm going to get to that verse in a moment but would you give me revel i know on the notes i've got that first but give me revelation 7 and verse number 13. please forgive me for that give me revelation chapter 7 verse number 13. someone say praise the lord and one of the elders answered saying unto me what are these which are arrayed in white robes and whence came they and i said unto him sir thou knowest and he said to me these are they which came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb those two verses sum up that god had a plan and man had to have a response the robes were stained with ugly sin the robes were black and with sin but god provided the blood and the bible said they washed their robes in the blood of the lamb can i tell you when they tell you oh works doesn't save you oh you can't be saved by works it's the cross alone nothing can be added to it that's simply not good biblical sound doctrine you have got to have your response and you need to wash your robe in the blood of the lamb he provided the plan you and i provide whatever response that we give him here's the plan i provide the blood revelation chapter 14 now in verse 13 revelation 14 13. and i heard a voice from heaven saying unto me right blessed are the dead which die in the lord from henceforth yea saith the spirit that they may rest from their labors would you follow this with me please and their works and their works do can i tell you that your response is going to judgment can i tell you that how we respond to the plan is following us to that judgment day i don't know about you but that makes me want to get busy doing a lot of good things for the lord that makes me want to that that makes me want to fulfill that that scripture that says be ye holy for i am holy revelation chapter 20 and verse number 12 once again we see this so beautifully i saw the dead small and great stand before god revelation 20 and 12 and the books were opened what are these books these books are the 66 books of the bible the books were open 66 books of the bible which cover several different dispensations of time several dispensations of time are there in the 66 books of the bible the dispensation of innocence the dispensation of conscience the dispensation of human government the dispensation of the law the dispensation that we're living in right now the grace dispensation and all of these different dispensations and the books are opened and whatever dispensation you were in you are judged according to that dispensation and the books were opened and another book please notice with me the bible said in the books plural 66 books were open and another book singular was opened which is the book of life and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books what are we judged by according to what you did to that dispensation that dispensation provided a plan you provided the response according to their works the sea gave up the dead which were in it death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their death and hell were cast into the lake of fire this is the second death and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire it's it's simple you first get in the books you first get in the dispensation and find what is god's plan for us now and it's amazing we're living in the greatest dispensation because other all other dispensations had a finger pointing to this dispensation when they were under the dispensation of the law and they had the tabernacle with the altar and the labor and the holy of holies it all was pointing to the day that jesus christ would become our great high priest die on calvary so that we could have our sins remitted and that we could obey the plan that peter said on the day of pentecost when they said men and brethren what shall we do peter said let me tell you the plan repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of your sin and you shall receive the gift of the holy ghost the books the books you see god provides the plan we respond we provide the response what response have you given him i guess that's what led me to ask you how serious are you about your salvation how serious are you how serious does it affect you more than just a church it should affect you all your life it should affect you with everybody how serious because please don't fall into that other poisonous trap do you realize that there's people that actually believe they actually believe this that once you confess faith in jesus christ there is nothing that you could ever do to be lost you don't have to go to church you don't have to even try you have to try you don't have to try that's true it's called it's called the doctrine of unconditional eternal security once you make faith in jesus i mean they get i mean and they get very strong about it too you know you don't have to go to church you don't have to you don't have to pick a bible or not i mean you you confess your faith in jesus christ you're eating you're uncond nothing you that i guess i get a little confused because they tell me there's nothing you can do to get saved and then once you get saved there's nothing you can do to get unsaved simply not true but let's don't let that spirit come in our pentecostal church that we just think that we could have got the holy ghost years ago got touched got baptized got spoken other tongues but we've not really pushed in the spirit we've not really yearned to have a relationship with god we've not really tried but i tell you i got baptized years ago well it's possible that you could got baptized the right way and got the holy ghost and did speak in tongues and did see that jesus christ is god but be lost because it's our response it's our response he's not just asking us to respond once we get have conviction but he wants a response from us 40 years later into salvation i read this i read this i found this and i i'd like to share it with you in 1829 two men george wilson and james porter robbed a united states mill carrier both were subsequently captured tried in a court of law in may of 1830 both men were found guilty of six charges including robbery of the mail and putting the life of the driver in jeopardy now they didn't kill the postman this kind of shows you how things have changed they didn't kill the postman they just put his life in jeopardy both wilson and porter received their sentences execution by hanging to be carried out on july the 2nd they were found guilty in may and they were to be hanged on july the 2nd porter was executed on schedule but wilson was not influential friends pleaded for mercy to the president of the united states who was andrew jackson jackson on his behalf president jackson issued a formal pardon dropping all charges wilson would have to serve only a prison term of 20 years for the other crimes incredibly george wilson refused his pardon he refused it an official report stated wilson chose to wave and decline any advantage or protection which might be supposed to arise from the pardon wilson also stated he had nothing to say and did not wish in any matter to avail himself in order to avoid the sentence so they were caught in a quandary how do you hang a man whom the highest office in the land has pardoned how do we hang him when the highest officer in the land the president of the united states has signed a pardon how do we how do we hang him this made its way to the u.s supreme court the u.s supreme court determined the court cannot give the prisoner the benefit of the pardon unless he claims the benefit of it it is a grant to him it is his property and he may accept it or not as he pleases chief justice john marshall wrote a pardon is an act of grace proceeding from the power entrusted with the executive of the law but delivery is not completed without acceptance it may then be rejected by the person to whom it is tendered and we have no power in the court to force it on him george wilson committed a crime was tried found guilty he was sentenced for execution the presidential decree granted him a full pardon but george wilson refused the pardon and chose to die the highest office of our the highest potentate in our land jesus christ god almighty has written a pardon to all humanity he wrote it in his own blood who so ever will let him come unto me and take of the water of the fountain of life freely and he can have eternal life but you know how good the calvary's cross is it's only as good as me accepting it i accept it god i accept that salvation lord i accept what you've done for me lord i accept o god i will live to the best of my ability to be an obedient child of god i'll be holy as you are holy because i accepted i accepted i accepted i accepted i accepted it i accept it i accept it back to first peter 1 and 15 and 16 in the midst of this precious blood in the midst of this end time warning be sober gird up the loins of your mind peter says be holy be holy for it is written be ye holy for i am holy it's interesting thing i wonder if peter i don't think it'll matter i was going to say i'll ask him when i get to heaven but i don't think it'll matter then i wonder if peter had some people in the church when he wrote them letters i wonder if he had some people in the church saying who does peter think he is does peter not know he's just a man who is peter who is peter to tell us to be holy we love jesus but who is peter to tell us to be holy i want to tell you something tonight the greatest gift you could ever have in your life is a man led by the holy ghost that keeps reminding you to be holy be holy be be holy be holy he ain't worth his he worth his salt if all he's preaching to you is be prosperous be prosperous believe in yourself dream your dreams you can have whatever you think you can have blab it and grab it believe it receive it you like those preachers just prophesy good don't tell you can live like the devil he gonna prophesy an angel spirit on you but i'm going to tell you the most valuable person now there'll be at times you cannot let your flesh begin to tell you because you're not always going to fleshly like the man that's pointing his finger telling you to be holy you better be holy you better be holy in all manner of your let me tell you something how we treat one another you better be holy how we speak to each other we better be holy you better be godlike how you speak to one another you better be holy husbands how you treat your wives you better be holy wives how you treat your husbands you better be holy how we treat one another in this church we better be holy leviticus chapter 11 verse number leviticus chapter 11 verse number one and the lord spake unto moses and to aaron saying unto them speak unto the children of israel saying these are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth what wait a minute who do you think you are coming out here telling me what i can eat and don't eat god told me to tell you it's amazing these people that that want to boast and brag i'm led by the holy spirit you're not led by the holy spirit because if you was led by the holy spirit the holy spirit would lead you through this book and god has a man to lead you spiritually now i know this is old-fashioned i know we're in a culture and please help me fight it please help me fight this culture that any man gets up and preaches like this he's a jim jones a david koresh he's some kind of cult leader or he's some kind of sado massacre he's some kind of some kind of overdominant no no no it's a man of god a man of god that reads the word i want this to be a holy church i i want us to preserve what god has got for us i want our children to grow up and get married i want this to be a holy church it is possible i don't care how dark it gets outside i don't care how godless it gets outside if we will hold on to this book and let a god-called man lead us moses steps out you may be seated moses steps out and he says hey i've got news for you just said the lord you can't eat that animal you can't eat that animal you can't eat that animal you can eat that you can't eat this you can't you can't moses well there's some of the folks boy yeah i don't even have to ask moses i do know where they come against him i do know where they come against him um it starts in chapter 11 verse one god spa and let's let's look look at verse number one again chapter 11 verse 1 and the lord spake unto moses and the aaron saying speak unto the children of israel go all the way down to verse 44. he's done told them what they could eat and what they couldn't eat he comes to verse 44 of the same chapter and he says for i am the lord your god you shall therefore sanctify yourselves and you shall be holy for i am holy neither shall you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth for i am the lord that bringeth you up out of the land of egypt to be your god you shall therefore be holy for i am holy this is the law of the beast now that when people are sitting around saying man you mean we can't eat this why can't we eat that you mean we can't we can how can we eat this and not eat that and vice versa and then god just tops it off and it says for i am holy be ye holy for i the lord your god am holy again in verse number again in verse number 19 of leviticus it's once again verse number one leviticus 19-1 and the lord spake unto moses saying speak unto all the congregation of the children of israel again in leviticus chapter 20 and verse number one and the lord spake unto moses saying leviticus chapter 20 verse number 7 sanctify yourselves therefore and be ye holy for i am the lord your god leviticus chapter 20 verse number 26 and ye shall be holy unto me for i the lord am holy and have severed you from other people that you should be mine now let me tell you something the first time the word holy is mentioned in the bible you never want and and and i know this can kind of be misconstrued and and people can say well that's very pompous of you to get up and say these things do you know it is a little bit of a battle because i do know the carnal mind could think this but if the lord tarries his coming and i'm removed from the scene someday i want this church to be strongly rooted in a god-called man that leads this congregation a god god-called man that leads the congregation now i've often told i've often made this statement i have the highest respect for the men that go to this church i have the highest of respect for them whatever occupation they're in i have the highest of respect for them if it's building banking i have the highest respect for the men but i want you to listen to me tonight i fear no man in this church you cannot fear man because if you fear man you will respect man the only one you're to fear is god a man should never go to the pulpit to preach something and battle that what he preaches will upset somebody what you preach will save people if they get upset that's how they responded to it i can't i can't choose how you respond to it i can't choose where you'll say oh god help me here's another hole in the sermon or thank you lord it's refreshing to hear about holiness i'm glad i want my daughter to be holy i want my children to be holy i want my grandbabies to be holy that which ceases to be preached will cease to be practiced be ye holy but i'll tell you what we don't need we don't need do as i say and not as i do we don't need do as i say and not as i do moses you're going to be telling the people to be holy do you know the first time in the scripture the word holy is used is in exodus chapter three and verse number four exodus chapter three go there with me exodus chapter three and verse number four the very first time the word holy was ever mentioned and when the lord saw that moses turned aside to sea god called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said moses moses and he said here am i that's a universal call of salvation to all humanity god gives a universal call there's never been a person born that hasn't had an opportunity to hear the universal call of god to salvation moses moses and moses said here am i the calling of salvation is wonderful conviction verse and he said draw not nigh hither put off thy shoes from off thy feet for the place we're on thou standest is holy ground can i tell you follow this very quickly being mindful of the time follow this very quickly as children of god we go through brother stumbo's stages god calls us out of sin god calls us by a spirit out of the world we begin to come toward god but you can't stay in the calling god's going to take you to another stage another phase and that is as moses was walking toward the burning bush god said stop stop don't come any further stop do you know by human nature we don't like to be told to stop now i believe with all of my heart that had moses said i don't care what you say i want to see what that bush is right there i i got to keep on saying i believe it would have all been over and somebody else would have let him out of egypt but his name wouldn't have been moses but because moses could listen to the stop i'm glad god called you i'm glad you were convicted and you came and that you got the holy ghost and that you got baptized i'm glad for all of that but you're going to go to another phase and that is when god says stop living for god you're going to hear some stop stop that stop that behavior stop that that's not the right behavior and then when god saw that he stopped he said take off your shoes for the ground you're ignorant of this moses you're ignorant of this but the ground you stand on is holy holiness will affect the inside of your heart but it will also manifest itself on the outside holiness caused moses to obey god's word and cause moses to bend down and take off his sandals i wonder if he'd have said i don't want to take off my sandals everybody else has got their sandals on none of the pharaoh's people worshippers have to take their shoes off when they go into their temples to worship their god i wonder if he has said that i believe it would have all been over because it's more than just being called to a burning bush it's more than just being called to a burning bush it's also allowing be ye holy for i am holy he did what the lord he did what the lord said he took his shoes off you know as a pastor i hear this quite often well that's a man-made rule well that's a man-made rule it certainly is it it certainly is a man-made rule just like the speed limit outside is a man-made rule but but when a pastor makes man-made but but please understand you're leaving one word out it's a man of god's standard it's a man of god just like adam who was the typology of the first pastor he pastored his eve was a typology of the church god told them god told adam said do not eat of the tree do not eat of the tree for in the day that you eat of the tree that's a solid specific commandment for the after god said adam pastor don't eat of the tree you will die pastor gets this commandment of god and pastor makes a man-made standard to help protect or guard rail to help protect the commandment and so adam says to eve the church eve see that tree over there don't touch it don't eat of it don't touch it or eat of it lest you die and that touch it there was adam's man-made part but thank god he was trying to keep her from it because if you don't want to eat a fruit stay away from it if you don't want to fall in the ditch don't drive close to the ditch yes there are man man of god made standards it just gets up and says you know the bible says be not conformed to this world and there's a lot of fads and a lot of fashions that are leading toward this world so i don't think we ought to do this and i don't think we ought to do that and i think we ought to stay away from this over here nowhere in the bible does it say thou shalt not listen to worldly music but a man of god stands up and says folks don't listen to that junk don't you shouldn't be listening to that over here don't be so absolutely absolutely there's man of god made standards you know why he makes them because he loves you he cares about your soul you know why they meet and made a speed limit for this road out here in front of us it wasn't a bunch of old grouchy men and women in nashville to god said we're just against all that miracle folks let's make the speed limit real slow going through there no they looked down and they said let's look at this road let's gauge the traffic let's let's put this speed limit on this road right here because we want to protect the citizens of maryville tennessee folks that's the same thing with the man of god when a man of god makes man yes man of god made standards we're not mixing no kool-aid up come on get off that kick we're just trying to be ye holy as he is holy you just stand with me tonight i certainly am not the first one to mention this this has been mentioned this has been mentioned many times how's god gonna speak to you he's gonna speak to you through this word he's also gonna speak to you through your pastor he's going to speak to you through your man of god can i share this with you that when young samuel lay in the house of god and god called him in the middle of the night samuel this little old boy laying in the house of god and god in the middle of the night sister nash god said samuel samuel samuel got up not once not twice but three times went to eli the priest and said you call for me you call for me and i'm not the originator of this i think it's a tremendous and i believe it is a true thought that when god called samuel he used the voice of his pastor when god called samuel he used the voice of his pastor that's why samuel didn't lay there and say who are you it sounded just like his pastor he sounded just like eli and so when he called him samuel samuel he just got up and said hey what do you want he said i didn't call you yeah you did second time third time and finally the eli says i perceive god's talking to you can i tell you we're living in a culture we're living in a and not we're not only living in a messed up political culture we're living in a messed up brother claiborne religious culture that that that absolutely and with with with with our church getting more more notoriety and more i i don't respond to it i i never respond to it and i ask people don't respond to it social media and this being webcasters sometimes we even have to block people who's like i think he is well you know you're the one that got on here i don't think somebody forced your fingers to factv.org i don't think it was forced there but isn't that just like this culture today they can't be now all right in case you if you're new here what that's all about you may see that one time i was teaching on holiness and uh i want to throw a little humor in there uh brother you're right yeah i want to put a little humor in there and so it's kind of real quiet you know and and uh um kind of like that you know sometimes kind of like you know right before your dog's gonna snap at you and start you know kind of like a little quiet and i said you know what i said this is a hundred dollar message right here i said i'm preaching a hundred dollar message tonight and i said while i'm preaching somebody else just bring her for the building fund i said i've got a hundred dollar message and they started bringing money up and soon was a hundred dollars i said you know it it's not a that's it's not a hundred dollar message it's a 250 dollar message and and i went the whole night like that i think at the end of it we had like 3 500 raised for the building funds so so and and you you'll see that from time to time somebody just come running up and but anyway but anyway folks i love you be holy church is dismissed tonight talk to each other as holy people you go to work in the morning talk
