with this verse isaiah chapter nine and verse number 6 and then colossians chapter 3 and verse 15 philippians chapter 4 and verse 6. for unto us a child is born and unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counselor the mighty god the everlasting father would y'all say that last three words of that verse prince of what prince of peace colossians 3 and verse number 15. colossians 3 15 and let the peace of god rule in your hearts to the which also ye are called in one body and be ye thankful philippians chapter four verse number six and seven be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto god and the peace of god which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through christ jesus for a few moments today i want to minister to you on the subject of the peace of god about that second pew in front of me yesterday morning i raised my hands in our prayer time and i asked god god what do the people need tomorrow morning god what do they need and i felt and heard so sweetly sister sarah so sweetly so gently i heard him say my people need peace in these times my people need peace in these times we want to pray over my message today but i want to pray over i want to pray over our good brothers and sisters in california this morning our good apostolic churches and churches of all faiths are getting hammered pretty hard in california right now by all the restrictions that have been handed down by governor gavin newsom as he has deemed churches as non-essential and i'm not here to throw off on the governor today i'm here to pray for the governor this morning i'm here to pray for the judgment and the wisdom of governor gavin newsom today because i'm going to tell you that there's only two things that's keeping a greater judgment from falling upon america there's only two things and you better not touch either one of them because they're the apple of god's eye number one's the church and number two is israel the economy is not it the pandemic's not it you better keep your mind you better keep your eye on the church you better keep your eye on israel you better bless the church if america's ever needed its churches open today it needs our churches open right now and for god's sake when we can say that a tattoo parlor and a marijuana dispensary isn't essential but look at the church and say that's a non-essential oh god i pray for i pray i pray i pray for our good friends we have personal friends uh brother miles young just one of many but out in california brother miles young in the rock church in sacramento and our brothers and sisters out there are getting hammered hard right now would you just lift up your hands and let's pray today oh god i pray today for all of our apostolic churches god i prayed for the browns lord i pray god lord i pray god for all of the apostolic churches in california today god i pray for our dear friends this morning god that are waking up lord god waking up to not being able to go to the house of god violation of an ordinance i pray for them today god i pray for the spiritual well-being of all the apostolic people i pray for the spiritual well-being of these people today god lord i pray that you visit their homes that you visit whatever means lord that they can communicate it lord anoint all of their internet programs god anoint all of their ways god that they're reaching out lord god i pray for them today i pray for our governor of california god in the name of jesus in the name of jesus god touch governor newsom today god let your hand be upon him lord god let your hand come down in that room where he's at right now god let him begin to make decisions that that he doesn't even know why he's making them it just comes into his heart god to make them today oh god in the name the name of jesus god i pray for the nation of israel your hands will be upon that nation today jesus mighty name we pray amen amen would you give god a thunderous handclap often the peace of god the peace of god you may be seated yesterday as i raised my hands and i asked god lord what do the people need and so sweetly he said at this time my people need peace peace peace so i began to study and probably have studied with just getting some few hours of sleep last night i've had my bible close by and i've been studying on peace on peace that tranquil that harmonious that indescribable feeling that comes upon us can't get it from a pill you can't get it from a bottle you can't get it from a lecture you can't get it from any kind of two-year degree or four-year degree it's just something that a poor man can boast that he has and it's something that a multi-millionaire can boast that he has this piece this piece i um i began to look at several verses of scripture and it just began to leap out of the pages for under us a child is born the old prophet in the old testament for under that's a child is born unless the son is given government shall be up on his shoulder he's going to be able to carry his government his name shall be called wonderful his name isaiah 9 6 if you would be so kind to put that on the screen for the people his name shall be called wonderful wonderful i began to research the scholars i began to research the scholars and how they dug into each of these his name shall be called wonderful counselor and some of the brightest hebrew scholars quite honestly and i would confess to you today a lot of their words when i read their articles i have to keep my dictionary beside me you know because i don't understand all of these uh salvation issues that they want to talk about and trying to find out what they meant by salvation it means salvation so i'll keep the dictionary close but they were going all into all of these terms and they come to the end these brightest scholars came to the end and they simply said the best way to describe wonderful is that there's nothing dull about him nothing dull you're thankful that with jesus there is nothing dull about him now if you can't relate to that i submit to you today that you have religion and not salvation because there is nothing that is dull about him he's wonderful his counselor his counselor and what that means is they say that that he is able to give you advice to direct you in whatever situation you find yourself in there's nothing dull and he's a counselor he's able to counsel you out of any situation that you're in this morning he's a wonderful counselor he is the mighty god and they say that what that means there he has the power to execute his plan he doesn't have a plan that he doesn't have the power to back it up he doesn't have a budget that he can't fulfill the budget he has he is the nothing's dull about him he is the one that can counsel us out of any situation and he is the one that has the power to execute his plan he has a plan and he has the power to execute that plan then he's the everlasting father and all of these these scholars say that that word everlasting there in reference to the name of jesus that that name everlasting there should be eternity he is the father of eternity he is the originator the word father means he is the originator he is the originator he is the everlasting originator the bible calls satan the father of lies why does it call him the father of lies because he told the first lie he is the originator but then the one i want to deal with today he is the prince of peace that word prince there means a ruler he's the ruler the distributor the one with the new authority he is the prince of peace paul later as he wrote about peace he said let the peace of god rule in your heart the peace of god rule let it have the rule let it have the the authority let the peace of god let the peace of god rule in your heart let let the peace of god have it say let god's peace have it say instead of the pandemic having it say let's allow the peace of god to have it say instead of empty shelves in the grocery store having it say what do you say that we allow the peace of god to rule we allow the peace of god to dictate to us our behavior we allow the peace of god to rule in our hearts and then paul again in philippians 4 and 6 he says be careful for nothing that word there is anxiety that word there is worry and of course i know all of you i'm all alone here today because i'm the only sinner in the group that has to fight to keep from worrying i know all of y'all have got angel wings underneath those blouses and jackets today and halos that you you respectfully left back there before you come in but i'm telling you worry is a real thing worry is a is a natural thing and it is natural in our flesh to want to lean toward worry but when you allow yourself to be ruled not by worry but you allow yourself to be ruled by the peace of god you allow yourself worry wants me to be fixed on what i see worry wants me to be fixed on the times the only reason people worry is they fix their mind on what they can see absent minus the peace of god minus the peace of god i would be ringing my hands today minus the peace of god this will be of all men most miserable but if i can somehow understand that his name shall be called nothing's dull he can counsel us out of anything he has the power to back it up he is the originator and he is the ruler of peace if i can just keep that deep down in my mind i can walk through pandemics and keep my mind on the peace of god paul says be careful don't have anxiety don't worry for nothing don't let anything cause you to worry but in in everything in everything you say well i'm in this that's right i'm in it too but he said but in everything you're to have a different atmosphere about you in everything you the child of god who is ruled by the prince of peace you have a different outlook because in everything by prayer there's three things mentioned here prayer supplication prayer supplication with thanksgiving prayer is simply the atmosphere that you set when it says prayers there it's talking about having the right atmosphere we walked in here this morning and we were met by a tr a tremendous anointing of god's presence a tremendous anointing of god's presence is here and you know why that is because for 22 days we've created an atmosphere of prayers we've created an atmosphere and when we create an atmosphere of prayer then we go to the next step which is prayers prayers and supplications we create an atmosphere and then we begin to bring forth our needs our supplications this is what we need we don't need we don't need just to go to prayer and quickly give me give me give me give me bless me bless me bless me help me help me help me we need to set up a tent and that tent needs to be the atmosphere of prayer and when i set up that tent that atmosphere of prayer i may not talk the whole time i'm in my prayer tent but i'm just simply there saying god this is the time that i've set aside and i create an atmosphere around my life and when i create that atmosphere of worship and praise then i begin to bring my supplications to god god i need this god we need that but it's not all about what i need i'm not going to close because you got cancer you do have something to be thankful for today well what in the world would that be you're alive well you uh we're we're financially this and that i promise you someone has got it far far worse than what you have it you're not the only one and i'm not the only one that's ever had a trial and ever had a test we've all went through some things some are self-inflicted and others worse people brought things upon it but it doesn't matter i can do three things create an atmosphere bring my knees before god and then i can begin to find something to thank god for i can begin to say god i thank you that i'm alive today i thank you matter of fact i tell you let's go all the way back i thank god that i am saved today i thank god that i am saved if is it not isn't that really what it's all about because when the trumpet sounds it doesn't matter about the job it doesn't matter about the house it doesn't matter about the kids when the trumpet sounds all the thing that matters are you ready come on give him a praise this morning now watch this now supplications thanksgiving and requests be known unto god you think it would end there no it it's not in the into there because after i go through those three steps create an atmosphere let my petitions be known let my petitions be known and then begin to thank god it's not over because the next verse philippians 4 and 7 says and the peace of god and the peace of god we're not done and the peace of god sounds like to me that i need to create an atmosphere sound like to me that i need to bring my petitions before god and it sounds like to me that i need to get a thankful heart right i need to get a thankful heart but then god's not done he you god's not finished with us then he says and the peace of god that indescribable tranquil harmonious presence that you feel that that you're all together because the word peace simply means complete the word peace means to be complete means to be whole it means to be complete people have a lack of peace when they feel like they have lost something you can't have a mentality that you are without and have peace at the same time you cannot have the mentality that i'm without this and have the peace of god at the same time you have got to take your needs into the presence of god you have got to create a climate and then you've got to let your requests be made known to god whatever they may be whatever that request may be and you give it to god and then he says even though you're lacking certain things in your life even though there's things that used to be in your life that are no longer here god says i'm able to come down in your situation and i'm able to give you a tranquil harmonious coldness and completeness even when you don't have i'm able to give you that peace of god now watch this now watch this very closely and the peace of god which passeth all understanding you know what that means the peace of god trumps circumstances the peace of god you understand with your mind you you understand with your mind you that's how you put things together that's how you put together that you have a loss that's why you're sad you put it together up here that i am a loss one plus one equals two i have got a loss and your mind registers loss loss but he comes through and says the peace of god passive all understanding you can be in the midst of loss but still have the presence of peace amen it can be in the midst of law so i've lost my health i believe people that have lost their health can still maintain their peace oh yes that song that i request today when peace like a river overflows and it is well it is well it is well with my soul do you you know who wrote that song a man wrote that song whose entire family went to the bottom of the ocean in a shipwreck and sometime later they took him out to that part that place there in in the ocean where the shipwreck happened and it's there that he began to talk about peace that overflowed his soul like a river and he began to say it is well it is well with my soul you understand today the man doesn't have his wife that's a loss he doesn't have any of his children that's a loss but somehow in the presence of god almighty he can stand there and say peace like a river attendeth my soul it is well it is well it is well peace of god that passeth all understanding now notice this with me in verse number seven and just just just notice this with me the peace of god which pass up all understanding watch this shall keep everybody say guard that's what that word keep there means that word keep there means guard i need to set a guard at my heart i need to have a guard at my heart and there's no greater guard of your heart than the peace of god let the peace of god shall keep guard your hearts and your minds now why is the two are is it not the same hearts and minds no they're not because your mind is what you know and your heart is what you feel your heart is what you know and your mind your your your your excuse i'm sending it back your mind is what you know and your heart is what you feel what's two of the conversations you've had this week well i know and this is how i feel wouldn't that kind of cap about everybody well i know this is how i feel that's right if we allow ourselves to go without prayers and supplications and thanksgiving we'll begin to feel like god has forsaken us although we can look around at many things that we ought to thank god for we'll begin to feel like we're forsaken i just feel like nobody loves me i just feel this or i know what's going on right now i know they're about to shut down the job i know i know the economy this and i know that but can i tell you in the midst of all your feeling in the midst of all your knowing god is able to introduce you to something that you cannot describe he is the prince of peace and i wish somebody helped me worship him this morning he is the prince he is the prince of peace brother my brother mumpin it it it absolutely amazed me as i began to look in all of paul's letters all of the epistles from romans to jude 99 of paul's letters to the church that's us all start out with him saying grace may the grace and the peace of god be with you he wasn't writing that just to say it paul knew the importance of the apostolic church having peace he knew the importance that we would face times in our lives in the history of the church when everything around us would speak of disorder everything around us would speak of loss but paul said it over and over again to the churches when they would open up the letter and they would say church at ephesus we have a letter from paul and we wouldn't get two or three verses until paul would say may the peace of god be on you peace has got to be important peace has got to be important because the first announcement of jesus christ by the angels the announcement of the angels to the shepherds in luke 2 13 read like this and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising god and saying glory to god in the highest read with me now and on earth peace and good will toward man it's got to be important isaiah said that he would be called the prince of peace the angels when they were telling the shepherds you'll find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger the heavens opened up and the heavenly choir bursted forth and what was their song sister erickson peace on earth and good will toward men jesus christ has been crucified he has been whipped with the count of nine tails he has had a spear thrust up under his rib he has had a crown of thorns put on his head he has had nails driven in his hands and his feet and he dies there on the cross but three days later he he raises from the dead victorious over death hell in the grave and in john chapter 20 and verse number 19 the last time they saw jesus he was hanging on a cross the last time they saw him he was a corpse john chapter 20 and verse 19 then then the same day and evening being the first day of the week when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the jews what's in that room there is fear why is there fear because their leader their savior has been crucified and in their mind brother hammond they got the leader and next they're going to come after the followers and they've got the door good and shut because they're fearful that any moment the roman's going to knock on that door and a roman is going to drag them off to an execution but oh friend a room that was full of fear watch this now when the room was full of fear where the disciples were assembled for fear of the jews came jesus and stood in the midst and said unto them the first word out of his mouth the first word out of his mouth was peace be unto you this room is full of fear this room is full of doubt this room is full of loss but the resurrected savior walks through the door and the first thing he says to them is peace be unto you peace be unto you oh god and the holy ghost today i hope the holy ghost walks back there to where you're sitting and your house is full of fear and your house is full of loss but i pray before we go home today that the holy ghost speaks to you and says peace be unto you peace be unto you oh hallelujah peace be unto you and when he had said and when he had so said he showed unto them his hands and his feet then were the disciples glad when they saw the lord i want you to look at the order of things some of us are wanting god to show us some things oh i would believe he'd show us no he chooses to give you peace and then show you i said he chooses to give you peace and then show you he doesn't want you looking at resurrection through the lens of fear he wants you looking at resurrection through the lens of peace so the first thing he walks in the room he doesn't walk in the room saying here's my hands here's my feet look guys i'm really alive now peace be unto you he walks in the room and addresses the one need that you and i have that is peace that is wholeness and when he said peace be unto you evidently they received it and then he began to show him his hands and feet and then the bible said they got glad you'll never get glad until you get peace you won't get glad and then get peace you've got to get peace and then you'll get glad you've got to stand in the midst of your fiery furnace and know that god will never leave me nor ever forsake me you've got to stand in your life regardless how young you are how old you are set back you are you got to stand and say i am complete now i like this i'd like to try to show you here that i believe there's different degrees of peace now that i have you at peace that i have conquered death hell in the grave in verse 20 the disciples were glad when they saw the lord then said jesus unto them again peace be unto you as my father has sent me even so send out you not only do you need peace for your salvation but you need peace for your mission your mission is to reach a lost world so i not only need peace for my salvation i need peace for the mission are there going to be people that you invite that's not going to come absolutely absolutely as a matter of fact as a matter of fact you'll invite more people to come to church that doesn't than the ones that do that's right you'll invite a whole lot of people but that one that shows up that one that shows up because the enemy the enemy would like to cause us to look at our surroundings and say they don't want this why who would want to come to a church well who in the world would want to come to a church where a man come out of the choir this morning and went running around the building well who would want to come to that church well who would want to go to a stadium and when your team wins they run out in the middle of the field and the conversation i had with somebody they said yeah but that's different i said oh you're mighty right that's different oh you're mighty right that's different because you don't know next week whether you're going to rush the field or not but the good thing about us is we know every day we got peace hey so don't write people off don't just say well we shout and carry on cut up and all that they wouldn't want this you don't know they wouldn't want this what if in the midst of us shouting and praising god the holy ghost just walks back there to the pew squeezes that heart real good and liquid tears begin to flow down their face come on we got peace for our salvation and we've got peace for our mission peace i wish somebody say peace peace peace peace how many heard somebody preach on your destiny your destiny how much preaching we hear about how many believes that god has a destiny for you your destiny well that's good to know because we hear that a lot preached on television god has a destiny for you god has a plan for you so in jeremiah chapter 29 and verse number 11 let's listen to god talk about this jeremiah jeremiah 29 11. for i know god says for i know the thoughts that i think towards you saith the lord thoughts of peace thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end that that word that expected in is your destiny but can you understand something with pastor this morning you never get to your destiny without your peace you want god to answer prayer you better know that you possess peace you got things in your life you're asking god to do oh god do this oh god save my husband you better live every day with him your lost husband with the peace of god in your heart because more than likely it's always the darkest before the dawn more than likely before they come because there's actually two princes i'm going to talk about here in just a moment there's actually two princes that we have to to encounter that we encounter one is the prince of peace and one is the prince and the power of the air and you've got to decide which prince are you gonna which prince are you going to listen to let me go on down i believe we got some gideon's i believe we got some gideon's here today i'm not talking about the kind to pass out the bible i'm talking about the gideon in the bible the getting gideon in the bible the gideon and the gideon in the bible he had a knowledge of what god used to do he knew that god split red seas he knew that god had rained down manna from heaven he knew that god had provided miraculously for the people but those days are over those days are over we're in a survival mode god used to do those things so gideon in judges chapter 6 verse number 12. the angel of the lord appeared unto him and said unto him the lord is with thee the mighty man of valor gideon said unto him o my lord if the lord be with us why then is all this befallen us and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of saying did not the lord bring us up from egypt but now the lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the midianites but we know in this for a sake of time just for the sake of time um the angel went on as if he didn't hear gideon and gideon says in verse 17 he said unto him if i have now found grace in thy sight then show me a sign that thou talkes with me he said i i want a sign i want to sign if i'm a mighty man of valor and i'm going to break the back of the midianites and we're going to be free again and going to have god giving us miracles again and i'm going to get my joy back again and i'm going to have my peace back again and i'm going to walk in the church feeling complete again and you're going to have to show me a sign and so the angel said the meat and the bread and the broth that you brought as an offering to me he said put the meat and the bread and take the pot of broth and pour it out on the meat and bread and put it on the rock the angel took a staff that was in his hand brother ben and he touched it and fire came up and consumed consumed the bread the meat and when that happened well there's your sign right there's your son no it's not my sign because verse 22 says this and when gideon perceived that it was an angel of the lord gideon said alas o lord god for because i have seen an angel of the lord face to face what grips his heart i'm about to die i've seen the angel of the lord i'm going to die verse 24 verse 23 and the lord what did he say to this man that had his sign that had his sign he got his sign sign was fire consuming the meat the bread the bra that's a sign you ought to have been dancing around gideon no because there's something signs just can't do he says i'm about to die and the angel says in verse 23 and the lord said unto him what is that read it with me now and the lord said unto him what peace be unto thee fear not i shall not die then gideon built an altar there unto the lord and called it jehovah shalom what is it the altar of peace it's too many people seeking signs i believe in signs but signs were intended the majority of them and this is where you better listen to me real close i do believe that god heals people of incurable diseases i believe god heals his people if it is his will of incurable diseases but to understand scripture there's a lot of miracles were done in the bible to prove the identity of jesus you don't have to give me a sign today jesus for me to know that you're god your word tells me that you're god so today i don't need somebody leaping out of the wheelchair that's all well and good and if it's god's will i pray for it i pray for that but you know as well as i do that it's not god's will to heal everybody because if everybody got healed nobody would die and sometimes god chooses to give us the ultimate healing he gives us that ultimate healing i'm not wanting to put a damper on miracle signs and wonders because gideon sees fire come out of the rod of the angel and burns up the meat and the bread and the broth and then he steps back and says i'm about to die but the lord steps back in and says i'm going to give you something today called peace i'm going to give you something today called wholeness and when gideon built an altar he didn't build an altar to miracle signs and wonders he built an altar to jehovah shalom he built an altar to the god of peace when god doesn't give me assad you listen to me today god has always gave me peace when god didn't give me the what i wanted he's always give me the peace of god to stand up because that's his way the peace the peace the peace of god come on gideon come on get in get out of that fleece business get out of that fleece business get in there's too many people walk with god based on fleeces gideon had to fleece god he still hasn't got over this can i tell you the peace of god will bring you back to the altar time and time and time and time again and if i only pray you listen to me now real close if i only prayed when i felt god i would very seldom pray it is not a chill bump that causes me to come daily into the presence of god it is the peace of god it is the peace of god that in the canopy of prayer i can't explain it an x-ray cannot pick it up i tell a microscope or a telescope cannot see it but there's something about the child of god coming into an altar and falling down and begin just to say that name jesus because his name is wonderful counselor mighty god and the lasting father and it is the prince of peace oh let me bring this to a close today let me bring this to a close today two princes meet mark chapter 5 verse number 1 two princes meet together there there is a man that is demon-possessed he is tormented he is running wild cutting himself he's had to leave his home he's had to leave his wife he's had to leave his children he's had to leave his job he's had to leave his community he's cutting himself he's miserable he's in the tombs because that's where the prince of the power the demonic tormentor wants you he wants you tormented do you realize that when that mother bends down over that girl that is overdosed and that mother cries because she really relives every moment from birth all through that and that mother's crying do you realize the devil is laughing that's exactly what he wants that's exactly what he wants he's a he's a tormentor that's exactly what he's that he spends his life tormenting he spends his existence bringing torment but oh i'm not going to give him much time in my message today because i'm going to talk to you about the prince of peace and when the prince of peace stepped out of that boat that day when the prince of peace stepped out of that boat the prince of the power of the air knew something just took place the prince of the power of the air knew the atmosphere is changing and the prince of the power of the air went running in the body of that man he went running to jesus and he falls down it's not the man worshiping it is the prince having to align himself under divine authority it is the demonic power that although they are fallen in their nature anytime god shows up the every prince of the power of the air has got to bring him because he is the father of the origin origination every demonic spirit the bible doesn't say every saved knee shall bow it doesn't say every save knee shall confess it says at the name of jesus of things on earth things in heaven watch the demonic world and things under the earth that's the demonic world at the name of jesus every tongue shall confess and every knee shall bow oh peace peace of god he came running musicians and singers would you come he came running and what did he say jesus have you come to torment us before our time that's not the man speaking that's the prince of the power of the air two princes two princes are meeting the prince of peace and the prince of the power of the air and the one says have you come to torment us have you come to torment us and he spoke and said come out the bible says for he had and this is he used to read this on your own time please oh that didn't sound sweet did it read it when you go home okay read it when you go the bible said they said have you tormented us have you come to torment the the prince of the air have you come to torment us before our time and then if you'll read there and mark it says for he had said come out of him well when did he say that it's not recorded it says for he had said when he said he said it in the spirit world the two princes was communicating and when the prince of peace stepped off that boat onto the shore he had a spiritual conversation with the prince and the power of the air and he said come out of him and they come running have you come to torment us before our time for he had said come out and then they begin to say we like it in this place don't send us away now they know they're coming out of the man but they don't want to come out of the place they don't want to come out of the place so don't don't send us away from here why did they want to stay there well if you read the whole chapter when you get home today you'll find out that when they when when he casts the devil and the devils come out of the man that they found him next clothed in his right mind and at the feet of jesus he's not a naked maniac he's not suicidal he's not wild-eyed he's clothed in his right mind he's sitting at the feet of jesus and the town people came out and the bible says see you can't you really can't figure people out reason you shouldn't ever live your life to please people these people came out and the bible said and they were afraid of him pardon me now i understand if you're afraid of that naked maniac suicidal guy but here's a man clothed in his right mind sitting at the feet of jesus and they were afraid of him and then they began to say jesus because what happened what happened the lord said the demons looked and saw a herd of swine and the demons asked the demons asked said would we have permission to go into the swine and he said can like yeah go ahead and i preached one time the day that the pigs went all wild you know even the pigs didn't want the devils in them the demons entered those pigs and they ran off the cliff and into the ocean and drowned and uh town people came out blue mopping and they said jesus would you leave you're bad for business our checkbooks are going to lack after today our stock has fallen after day see an atmosphere that does not crown him king of kings is where the prince of the power of the air loves to dwell but when he was finished when he was finished he got back in the boat the prince of peace when he was finished the demon-possessed man came or the former demon-possessed man he said i want to go with you lord the lord said to him said no so go home to your friends go home tell them how great i've done for you i want you to listen to me real close peace doesn't start in a crowd peace doesn't even start in a marriage you understand today as beautiful as sister carpenter is and as talented as she is bright-minded do you understand that she can't give me peace as wonderful as this church is pastor we've been pastoring here for 36 years as wonderful as you folks are you can't give me peace the only one that can fix me is god so anyone can fix me is god you need to understand that today so stop thinking that you're going to get peace if your marriage gets it together you're not going to get peace stop thinking you're going to get peace if things come back together you're fat no you never because peace starts with you and i would say today that there's probably some marriages in this room that need healed but the healing doesn't start till both of you meet the healer and when you meet the healer the healer can come down today and heal your marriage and then after he heals your marriage and you are whole then god can reach out to your children you see there's a lot of things you've got to have peace about today you've got a peace in yourself you've got to have peace in your marriage you've got to have peace in your family and you won't turn me off i'll say this with you some people don't have peace in their finances see there's no peace in your finances until you find what the peace the prince of peace has to say about your finances when you find out what the prince of peace has to say about your finances you can do things that make no sense at all such as tithing tithing if you're not in the right mind and somebody tells you about tithing you think i'll tell you what i'm gonna do when i get all my bills paid when i get ahead i'm on time what never happened exactly right but it doesn't matter you need you need but the peace maker says meet me me meet me in the area of your finances i'll give you a piece about it matter of fact i'll make you content i'll make you content with that car that's got 417 million miles on it i'll make you content with that pair of shoes you had 20 years ago i'll make you content something else and it's the most important of all kids stand with me am i gonna ask you about your heads i'm gonna ask you about your heads i'm gonna ask you to look at me here's the number one thing you ought to have peace about you ought to have peace about your salvation there shouldn't be anything in this book pertaining to salvation that you shouldn't already be at peace with just obey it just obey it just obey it it shouldn't be anything that you have to set back and wonder well does it really matter if and how i was baptized does it really matter if i and how we're baptized let's just understand how peace comes doesn't matter what i tell you what does that tell you and whatever this tells you about it whatever this tells you about it it'll bring peace to your life it'll bring peace to your life that's all right now you know god what do the people need they need peace they need peace i wonder today if we can be very very transparent there's an individual here today you may be in the choir you may have you may have been in this church for years but you just want peace in your heart i want to ask you to step out of your seat right now and come down around this altar i i just want to have peace in my heart for the carpenter i'm going through some things in my life and i i just need what you preached about today i just need i just need i want to show god i'm going to show god today that i just wouldn't hear a message that i'd walk down around the front of this altar because i want peace today i wonder today is there a married couple yeah i know what some may think they may say but i wonder there's a husband right now that would reach over and get the hand of his wife or a wife that would reach over and get the hand of the husband and you would just step out of your pew this morning you would come down around the altar and god put peace in our marriage god and help us lord oh mighty god mighty god maybe someone here today that's not been baptized in jesus name someone here today that's not received heaven's best the gift of the holy ghost oh you would just come down around the altar today oh peace oh god give us peace
