can we clap our hands for Jesus all across this Sanctuary can we do it just a little bit louder come on how many of you are thankful that Jesus was moving in yesterday's Chapel Jesus was speaking to us and I'm so grateful I'm so grateful so so grateful for everything that Jesus did I uh I'm telling you it's been such an amazing time with you guys these past few days and uh we still have the weekend and there's just no telling everything that Jesus is going to do and I'm just uh my heart is so full my heart is so full and I'm just so grateful uh for everything that God has began to do and I just I just happen to believe um that there's going to be uh moments in the future that we look back on these moments here this week and I just happen to believe that things are going to be initiated in the spirit things are going to be planted in the spirit things are going to begin in the spirit uh that go with us for a long long long time and so today I want to do my best to plant some more seeds and I want to tell some more stories today would that be all right would it be all right if I told some more stories today I I uh I wna I want to go I want I want to go higher in Jesus amen I want to go to another level can you turn to your buddy your friend and tell them I I want to go to another level have I have a question for you H have have you ever been stuck before have you ever been stuck well I I've got to tell you another story and this first story I'm going to tell you is a story about being stuck I um how many of you have ever been stuck in an elevator how many of you have nightmares about being stuck in an elevator how many of you won't even step into an elevator because you can't get stuck in an elevator that you won't step into that's a really great proactive plan now I'm still trying to discern today who's telling me the truth or not but I uh I had stepped into an elevator I was at a hotel and I had stepped into an elevator and I had I had pressed the button for my floor and I'm just kind of waiting and can I just confess to you that uh maybe I fell asleep in the elevator I was so tired just I just kind of dozed off so all of a sudden I I kind of came back too and I I realized I'm still in this elevator so I I go to press the button again and nothing's happening and I go to press the button again and nothing's happening and I'm starting to think that this nightmare might be a reality I'm like no no no no it can't happen to me I am not about to be stuck in an elevator I press the button again very calmly nothing happened nothing moved so I begin to lose my calmness as I begin to re press the button again and again and again and still nothing was happening and I am about to scream out for my mama any moment I don't even have snacks to make it through the night your boy is not about to be stuck in this elevator but then I um I received this Revelation I had been pressing floor number one every single time I was not staying on floor number number one I was like on the third floor so I was so tired so delirious so out of it I had just been pressing floor number one the whole time so when I pressed floor number three you guessed it the elevator moved and I made it to the third floor well this is what I've learned about coming to church this is what I've learned about worshiping and praising God and coming into spiritual atmospheres so many times we can go after the same thing so many times we can press floor number one in the spirit so to speak so many times we can settle for an experience that we've had again and again and again and you know what I want to happen today I want somebody to go just a little bit higher I want us to truly go to another level we came the first chapel and you were so receptive and responsive we came yesterday and again you were so responsive and receptive to the presence of God I so proud of you as you were worshiping and praying and as tears were flowing down your face you allow Jesus to come into your heart today I want to tell some more stories and I just I just want to go to another level in the spirit amen I want every single grade every single age every single stage to go to another level today so I'm going to read a verse for you I want to read a verse for you it's found in job it's found in Job chapter 42 Job chapter 42 and verse 5 Job chapter 42 and verse 5 and it says these words I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear but now mine eye seeth the I have heard of you but now I see you for just an a few minutes I just want to talk to you today on this simple subject eyewitnesses eyewitnesses um I wonder if you can just close your eyes and you can lift your hands while being seated and I wonder if you could just pray these really simple but powerful words Jesus I want you to speak to me Jesus I want you to show me things Jesus I want to see things I've never seen things I've I thank you for speaking to me thank you I thank you for opening my eyes I thank you for opening my eyes to behold wonderful things out of your word in Jesus name somebody shout in Jesus name Inus now whisper amen so I want to talk to you today about eyewitnesses um I I am a uh I am a victim of fomo quite often I uh I have I have an immense fear of missing out especially when my friends are having fun without me and especially when my friends are eating good food without me and experiencing amazing things without me and I think I think there was a man in the Bible we talked about him uh in our first uh Chapel uh that was also a victim of fomo it was Moses we talked about how he was uh shepherding and he was in the middle of nowhere and all of a sudden this bush catches on fire and and something with inside of Moses said I I want to uh I want to figure this out I I I I I I want to see what is happening and so there's this there's this uh holy curiosity if you could say about what is what is taking place and so the Bible lets us know that when when Moses turns aside and he stops everything that he is doing that all of a sudden the Lord begins to speak to him I think there's normal everyday moments in all of our lives where God begins to tug at our spirit he begins to tug at our heart and our mind and he gives us Divine invitations to RSVP for something special for something significant for something Supernatural I believe there's moments in all of our lives where God invites us into something that we haven't experienced he invites us to see something that we haven't seen I I believe God is inviting this amazing student body into prayer and the word and into worship and into Revival and into amazing things that only he can do in our young lives so it is that I uh I I I I've had moments as a as as a young boy where I I begin to feel that tug I begin to to feel that that God wanted to use me that God wanted to do something in my life that that that that perhaps there was something more than just existing and and just living an average life and even as a young boy even as a young man I I knew that there was a great big God that wanted to do great big things if I would allow him so I I uh I shared with you my experience as a six-year-old young boy receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues in my bedroom in my house for the very very first time and feeling the presence of Jesus overflow out of my heart it was something so special it was something so significant I never forgot it and the amazing thing about that gift the amazing thing about that experience is that you can experience it again and again and again and any moment you can begin to talk to Jesus at any moment you begin to pray and worship and give praise to God and he can begin to move upon you anywhere at any time so I begin to develop this relationship with God I I begin to to to read his word even when I didn't always feel like reading his word and I I began to worship more than I had ever worshiped and I remember being in a service I was I was uh around eight years old I remember being in in in in service and and uh all of a sudden the spirit of God was moving and and uh I I I I I I remember I remember feeling something more I remember feeling something different and we all know we all know that moment when uh there's about to be a tongues interpretation we all know that that Holy hush that comes into the atmosphere and I'll never forget as a young boy I I remember praying and it I I was speaking in tongues and all of a sudden it was as if something escalated and and and something was drawn out of me and I I remember somebody behind me with their their hand on my back and as all I know is that I was I was standing on the second queue and I as a young boy was speaking in tongues out loud as God was beginning to use me in ways that I had never been used I remember as I was around 11 or 12 being in a service and uh it was a powerful service and all of a sudden I'm just looking around and I'm feeling the presence of God and I look over and and I I see a man with a cane and something spoke to me and said you need to go pray for him and if you go pray for him God can heal him I remember as a as a young preaching thinking I don't know if that's God speaking to me what if it's not God speaking to me and so I didn't do anything I just stood there and as I'm standing there the preacher stops preaching and he calls that man forward Ward and he has him prayed for and that man is healed and he walks out without having to use his Cane and I remember as a young 11 12 year old boy thinking I think God perhaps was speaking to me and I realized that God was wanting to use me but I also realized that God was not going to be limited by me I remember I I'm just sharing stories of my journey I remember thinking God God was trying to speak to me God wanted to use me out of all of the people in that crowd God was giving me a chance to be used by him as I was a little older I remember being in a service and all of a sudden that Holy hush was in the atmosphere again and I realized that God's going to speak to us so we prayed and we waited and I thought well it's it's normally brother Samuel who is used in that gift and and in Apostolic atmosphere that's that's quite normal it's one of the ways that God speaks to the family of Christ it's one of the ways that he edifies the church and so I just remember waiting and praying and I'm I'm looking around and it's like brother Samuel's not there and I remember thinking where we're we're not going to get a word from God we're going to miss out come on brother Sammy where you at so then I realized well you know what if it's not brother Sammy it's always sister Debbie so sister Debbie will come in clutch and uh we're all waiting and we're praying and I realized sister Debbie is not there I'm like yo sister Debbie where you at I don't know if she's on vacation or a bathroom break but sister Debbie's not there and I remember thinking in my young heart and mind we're going to miss out on a word from God I'll never forget it was as if the hand of Heaven came on my shoulder and simply asked a question and the question was can I use you and I remember thinking that's not my gift that's no no I'm good I'm good and I remember thinking no I I I I want to be used by God it was in that service as a young teenager that God used me in the gifts of interpretation for the very first time I remember as I got a little older I uh I walked into to a service and the Lord began to speak to me again again and said I I want to use you to pray for somebody and see them healed I remember that time that I had I had I had I thought I had missed the voice of God and I thought oh I got a little PTSD I don't I don't know if I can do this and I remember thinking no I I want to be used by God I I I'm willing to figure this out I'm willing to to to to to discern the voice of God and I I want to I want to take risk in wisdom I want to I want to be br Brave and courageous and I just want to see what God could do through me if I let him and there she was there was a lady sitting on the front row and I just felt compelled to pray for her I uh I I knew that God wanted to do a work in her life and so I walked up to her and I uh I said what would you like the Lord to do for you would it be all right if I pray for you and um she said of course she had been in an accident and she had had surgery and she was Now using a cane and it was uh it was it was hard for her to walk without it and there was just a lot of physical ailments in her in her body and so I said I just I just want to pray for you would that be all right she said absolutely and so I be to pray for her and I kept on praying and I kept on praying and and uh I I I I I confess to you this morning that I thought man I don't know what's going to happen when I stop praying and I feel like there's going to be a lot of pressure on me when I stop praying because what if something happen happens and what if what if something doesn't happen so you know what I did I kept on praying we pray for her grass we pray for her dog we pray for her grandchildren we pray for everything until finally I said in jesus' name amen let it be so let it be done you know the older you get you realize it takes just as much Faith to end a prayer as it does to begin a prayer and so I could have ran away but something something compelled me to stay and and I just said I uh I I I I just want to know what the Lord has done I said Can Can we test out our faith and she said sure yes I said I just want to know if if you can stand I said would you be willing to stand with me and so she stood up to her feet and you have to realized she was full of faith it wasn't just my faith and so she stood there holding my hand and her other hand on the cane and and I said would it be all right if if we just if we just walk a little bit and she absolutely and so we begin to walk and and I said would would it be all right if I let go of your hand and and so she let go of my hand and then I said would would it be all right if I hold your cane and she said absolutely so she handed me her cane and when she handed me her cane she began to run and she began to walk all up and down that Altar and God miraculously healed her faith came into that room Miracles took place in that service and can I tell you that even to this day that's one of my favorite Miracle stories to share not because I saw the dead resurrected but because my faith was resurrected and I realized that God could use Landon I I want I want to speak into your spirit even if everything doesn't resonate with your head I I I I I want to remind somebody I want to remind a high schooler that God does not confirm a personality he confirms his word God does not confirm an inogram number he confirms his word there are men and women in this room that God wants to use mightily in the gifts of the Spirit and you will limit what God wants to do in your life because that's not my gift that's not my personality that's not my thing can I just can I just put something into your spirit and remind you God does not confirm a personality God confirms his word it doesn't matter if you're an introvert it doesn't matter if you're an extrovert it doesn't matter what personality type you are if you have the spirit of God on the inside of you he wants to use you to bring encouragement and strength and healing and Revival and breakthrough to somebody else is this all right is is Story Time with LG O Okay can I tell a few more stories I uh I remember I remember being in a service and uh just I just felt the Lord speak to me and he said uh I I want you to I want you to give the cash in your wallet to to uh to this church planner and I thought oh I I don't know about that I I have this really um tricky pattern of always question when when when the Lord is speaking to me and so I I pulled out my wallet and I begin to count some money and um I had $800 in my wallet fam that's a lot of money that's a lot of Chick-fil-A and I begin to calculate and I thought if this is not God speaking to me this is a this is a whole lot of chicken nuggets this is a whole lot of spicy chicken sandwiches this is is a whole lot of waffle fries y'all I I don't I don't know if this is God speaking to me I had just come back from overseas and U I had had an emergency uh fund and and and I had I had taken out $1,000 now that's a miracle because you got to have $1,000 to take out $1,000 and so I had used 200 and so I had $800 and so I'm I'm I'm counting this money and I'm thinking God I don't know if this is you and I ain't about to waste $800 but then something rose up in my spirit and I said you know what I would I would rather waste $800 trying to figure out your voice and trying to learn your voice and discern your voice then go to bed tonight wondering what you could have done if I had been obedient you see we think that everything um we think that everything miraculous is automatic sometimes in wisdom you have to figure things out you have to test things out you have to learn you have to grow there's gifts on the inside of you that some of you don't even realize uh but it's going to take some watering it's going to take some cultivating not everything comes in its full of fruition sometimes you got to you got to figure some things out and that's where leadership comes into and that's where experience and observation and exposure and and God moments all Collide and and and and come together and and and you learn and you grow day by day service by service level by level and so I remember walking over to this man and and uh I didn't walk up to him and say thus sayth the Lord I walked up to him and I said I just think and I just feel like I'm supposed to give you this money and I gave him the money and I ran away before I took it back I was afraid I was going to relapse in my faith and uh so I'm waiting and and I'm I'm not seeing I'm proud of you written in the Sky I'm not had any Angelic visitations I'm just I'm just left wondering was this the voice of God or not and all of a sudden the next day 24 hours later 24 stinking hours later I get a text message and say hey man I just want to tell you something I'm like tell me bro tell me he said what you don't know is last night I gave $800 sacrificially and I didn't have it and then you walked up to me and you gave me me $800 and I realized in my young life that's the voice of God I can trust his voice I was learning his voice I was Discerning his voice so you know what happened the next time God begin to nudge me God begin to impress me God begin to speak to me I walked a little quicker I stood up a little straighter and this time I say you know what I really think the Lord wants me to give this to you and I'll never forget the second time the Lord asked me to to give some money to somebody and I put it in their hand and when I put it in their hand I felt the witness of God's spirit in my heart and I knew that God was confirming and I was learning the voice of God I want to I want to read a few scriptures to you that I think are are really amazing and really powerful Psalm 66 and5 says come see the works of God he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of men Ecclesiastes 6 and9 better is the sight of the eyes than the wondering of Desire second Peter 1 and6 says we have not followed cunningly devised favales when we made known unto you the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty acts 42 he says for we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard I I don't know about you but I I want to see what God can do I don't want to just hear stories about what God has done through other people I am so thankful for the missionaries that have gone before us I'm so thankful for what Bishop has done I'm so grateful for what God has done in the book of Acts and in isua and throughout Africa and the middle e East and all over the world but you know what I want to see God do miracles in Knoxville I want to see God use you and me to pray through our friends through to the Holy Ghost in another Chapel I I want to see God use you to pray bold prayers Kingdom prayers I I I want to see God use a 19yearold in the gifts of the Spirit I I want to see God begin to lead and guide a 12year old in way that you've not experienced I want to I want to see God do things in my I want to see it I don't want to just hear about it I want to see it for myself there's something special about partnering with God uh uh Psalms 1037 is is has been a powerful voice of of scripture in my life it says these words he made known his ways unto Moses his acts unto the children of Israel he made known his ways unto Moses his acts unto the children of Israel I want to speak to those that are in high school I want to speak to everybody the older you get you you you you have a choice you can show up and you can just watch everything that is happening or you can partner with God and you can be a part of what is happening I pray that you would begin to enter school days I pray that you would begin to walk on the sidewalk I pray that you would begin to walk walk into Starbucks I pray that you would walk into Sunday this Sunday and you would start praying prayers like God whatever you're doing don't do it without me whoever you're going to heal today whoever you're going to bless whoever you're going to convict whoever you're going to minister to don't do it without me if Sunday's Pastor is preaching on faith or conviction I want to be in Sy in prayer and in faith I'm not looking to be a co-star but I do want to be a co- laborer and I want to be a part of what you are doing musicians come remain seated just one more time I want to read the verse again he made known his ways unto Moses his acts unto the children of Israel the children of Israel saw what God was doing Moses knew why he was doing it Moses knew his ways Moses knew his nature there's going to be a whole lot of people at church that show up and they see what God is doing the Bible says the children of Israel they they they saw the acts they saw the actions they they knew what God was doing but Moses knew his ways he knew his nature he knew the patterns I'm telling you I'm telling you right now there's young men and young women if you will begin to study the presence of God you're going to learn principles if you will begin to study how God moves you're going to be able to discern his next move and God is going to allow you to be a participator God is going to allow you to Steward Supernatural moments I want us all to stand Psalms 32 and8 Psalms 32 and8 says I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which you will go I will guide you with my eye I will instruct you and teach you in the way that you will go I will guide you with my eye have you ever had mom or dad just kind of look at you and you knew what they were thinking you ever had them give you the look and and they didn't even have to say anything you knew what they were saying without saying it you ever had mom or D look at you and then they look at something else and you realize oh the trash needs to be taken out and so you try to look the other way and then they look at you again they make eye contact and then they look at something else and you realize oh you forgot that chore or you need to do this or you need to do that did you know we can have such a relationship with God that we can know his nature we can know his principles we can know his word and we can move in a way that we don't have to just wait for him to speak to us we we we don't have to wait on his voice to teach a Bible study to a friend we don't we don't have to wait on his voice to go pray with our friend we don't have to wait on his voice to do what he would want us to do I'm issu I'm issuing a challenge today I've shared a few stories that I hope have been more than just random silly stories but I want a young man I want a young woman to be exposed to the reality that God wants to show you some things that perhaps you've not seen yet God wants to show you some things that perhaps you saw a while back you gave up on God wants to use every Spirit field student in the gifts of the Spirit with wisdom and guidance and Leadership and accountability you know there's been some moments that I've missed God's voice there have been some moments that I've missed an opportunity to be used in in uh in the gifts of the Spirit you know what I've realized I realized I didn't miss the gift I missed the moment and there's there's there's young people in this room there's been moments that you've missed and that moment that you missed is the clue to what God is wanting to lead you into there's some of you you don't even realize it but you're going to wake up in the middle of the night Spirit of intercession is going to be on you God's got a A prodical for you to pray for God's got a unchurched city for you to pray for some of you don't even realize it but you're going to be in a chapel and you got to work word of encouragement for somebody and at first it may seem a little generic a little cliche but you know what you're going to do you're you're going to find a teacher you gonna find Pastor Anthony you're gonna find someone you can trust and say hey I this is what I'm feeling and they're going to let you know this is the right time to share that you're going to have to learn God's voice you're going to have to learn how God speaks to you because you know what when you not only yield to the initial evidence of his Spirit when you not only receive the gift of God's spirit for the first time but you walk in the spirit and you live in the spirit God's going to use your life to edify others to encourage others God's going to use you to be a part of this great end time Revival and God's not going to wait till you're 35 God's not going to wait till you have grade and your here God's not going to wait till you're 20 God wants to use you right now God wants to cultivate you right now you're you're in this school for a reason you go to this church for a reason you're surrounded with so many amazing teachers and amazing principle and amazing staff for a reason because God is wanting to mature mature you and God is wanting to grow you and God is wanting to use you there's going to be answers to prayer there going to be miracles signs and wonders they're going to happen in this atmosphere that are going to happen this weekend that are going to happen in this church in this region because a 12-year-old prayed a prayer because a 16year old old stepped out in faith because a 19-year-old said Hey Hey sister Whitley I this is this is what I'm feeling can you can you can you help me discern this there's so much more I want to say but I've just done my best to to try to plant some things in your spirit and this is what I want us to do I want us to come up to the front as a family can we do that and I want the high schoolers to get ready to help me pray again I'm so appreciative of your help I want everybody to come as close as they can high schoolers can you help me again can you join me on these steps as quick as you can can you join me we're getting ready to pray again we're going to pray some simple but powerful prayers and just as God moved yesterday he's going to move again we're going to go about our day we're going to go back to our classes we're going to AG go about our weekend but on the last Chapel service of cold orange Revival I just believe that God wants to do something special one more time in our midst come on down buddy so I want everybody to look at me I want everybody to look at me are you looking at Landon every oh some of you ain't looking at LG I need you to look at me you're not looking at me you're probably not listening to me are you listening to me okay all right all right I didn't know this is what I want you to hear me say we're going to pray a really simple prayer but when I'm telling you this simple prayer is so powerful it's so powerful because every single time that I have prayed it God has answered it sometimes in ways that I didn't realize sometimes it was in the timing that I I I I I didn't expect but you know with this really simple but powerful Brave prayer sounds like God I want you to use me but we're not just going to pray that prayer we're going to add a word to the end that makes it really powerful you know what that word is now God I want you to use my life now I I I hope I'm being simplified enough what that means is one day you you could be reading your Bible and there's going to be a verse that's highlighted and you're going to feel like you need to share that verse with somebody and you're not going to realize it you're going to think it's probably really simple and silly but you're going to share that verse with somebody and you're going to realize that verse is exactly what they needed to hear you're you're you're you're going to hear one of your friends come to you and they're going to tell you that a family member is sick that a family member had a diagnosis and you know what all of a sudden you're going to feel compassion for them but you're also going to feel this undeniable faith that your Jesus can help them your Jesus can heal their family member and so you know what you're going to do you're going to say I want to pray with you because I believe that when we pray God will hear I'm telling you God is going to use you in simple ways in special ways in everyday ways there's so many other stories I could tell you but if you forget everything that I've said today every single story I've shared I hope you'll remember this little prayer God whatever you're doing don't do it without me God however you can use me I I want you to use me right here right now we're going to have service on Sunday I won't be behind this pulpit and I'm going to hold the mic but there's so many things that God wants to do in that Sunday service that I I can't I can't do it all God wants to speak to you God wants to use you he want to he wants to use your your prayers he wants to use your faith he wants to use your worship and just as these amazing students have helped you pray God's going to use you to pray with one of your friends does all that make sense anything that doesn't make sense I want you to find somebody that's on staff I want you to find a teacher I want you I want you to find sister Ashley I want you to find somebody and you have any questions I want you to ask I want there to be a holy curiosity I I want there to be some spiritual fomo that says God I want to be a part of everything that you're doing so could we close our eyes together as a family could we close our eyes just like we did yesterday you're going to feel some of your brothers and your sisters you're going to feel some of these high school students come alongside of you and they're going to join with the teachers and the staff and the adults and and they're they're going to pray with you but I want you to close your eyes and I want you to focus on on Jesus and I want you just to begin to pray that simple prayer with Landon could you do that God I want you to use me I want you to use my life I want you to use my giftings could you do that could you close your eyes you don't have to look at me anymore I want you to close your eyes and I want you to lift up your voice and we're going to talk to Jesus together Jesus I don't understand everything I don't have everything figured out but I want you to use my Ministry I want you to use my life Jesus I want to be an eyewitness of your majesty I want to be an eyewitness of your mercy I want to be an eyewitness of your grace Jesus I've felt you in special ways this week I've seen you do marvelous things in Chapel but God I I have a Hunger for More come on that's it you're old enough you're old enough to see Jesus do some special things you're not too young you're not too young you're old old enough you're old enough you're old enough to be used of God right now that's it would you raise your hands to Jesus would you raise your hands to Jesus oh that's so amazing that's so beautiful that's so awesome I'm so proud of you come on let's go another level today let's go to floor number three today you prayed so great yesterday you prayed so amazing yesterday let's just go to another level on Friday let's just linger a little [Music] longer oh yes Jesus I'm asking you to baptize every student with discernment with sensitivity with Hunger I pray oh God over every Spirit field student God that there would be an insatiable desire God to walk in the gifts of the Spirit not to walk in the mystical not to walk in the out of order not to walk in weirdness but to walk great in wisdom he is to walk in your word he to walk in the things that you have ordained for your sons and your daughters God I pray right now I pray right now God that just as you moved upon me God just as I can look back to moments oh God that you were inviting me higher I pray God I pray moments for this student body I pray moments God for these high schoolers I pray moments God I pray moments God I pray Divine Supernatural moments God that would stir up a holy curiosity I pray God Divine moments that would provoke us I pray Divine moments oh God Divine moments that would not be conjured up that would not be manipulated but miraculous moments miraculous moments in your wor in in in in in in your presence in your worthiness in your majesty Divine moments God where we linger just a little longer where we go a little deeper a little further a little higher and we allow you to do things in our life that we can't do of our own accord come on you're doing so amazing every hand lifted to Jesus every eye closed would you just talk to Jesus out loud would you tell him would you tell him some bold
