so I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to you today from a um first Samuel chapter six and I was debating on what to speak and I I just want to preach is that okay can I preach a message to you and I want to challenge you to don't look for rewards here in this world because the our pay is not from this world it's it's coming one day it'll happen in heaven but as for now we just gotta give it all and give everything we have and give it all to the Lord and He will at the end reward us in a way that we have no idea but I know it's going to be good I know it's going to be really good so just keep going keep working keep giving keep sacrificing and don't expect a pay don't expect anything in return because you won't find it if you look for that you will miss the rapture amen so I'm going to read in uh first Samuel chapter 6 verse 7 through 14. it says now therefore make a new car take two milk cows which have never been yoked and hitched the cows to the cart take the their calves home away from them then take the Ark of the Lord and set it on the card and put the articles of gold which you are returning to him as a trespass offering in a chest by its side then send it away and Let It Go verse 9 says and watch if it goes up the road to its own territory to Beth Shemesh then he has done us this great evil but if not then we shall know that it's not his hand that struck struck us it happened to us by chance then the man did so they took two milk cows and hitched them to the cart and shut up their calves at home and they set the Ark of the Lord on the card and the chest with the gold rats and the images of their tumors then the cows headed straight for the road to Beth shemish and went along the highway lowing as they went and didn't return aside to the right did not turn aside to the right hand or the left and the Lords of the Philistines went after them to the border of Beth shamish two more verses now the people of bad shamish were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley and they lifted their eyes and saw the ark and rejoice to see it then the card came into the field of Joshua of Beth Shemesh and stood there a large Stone was there and they split the wood of the car and offered the cows as they burn offering to the Lord amen so let's pray quickly and then ask the Lord to bless you to speak to you um the word of God is so good it's it's always he always applies it to every need and I believe that God has um something for you today and let's pray father in the name of Jesus we ask you that you speak to our hearts speak to our lives today bless this church Lord in a way that we can leave this place and know that we we have received something from you we felt your presence in this place the anointing in this place I pray that you allow me to preach and share this thought to this congregation father in the name of Jesus I pray amen praise God Hallelujah so what is my reward the reward of sacrifice is something that we um some if you if you think with secular thoughts your secular mind you may think as hard as I can work very hard in this world and receive something in return we go to work because we know we're going to get a paycheck at the end of the week the end of the month or uh and we do things expecting something in return that is the mentality of this world but as we see Israel they were the chosen people of God they are the chosen people of God and as long as they were submitted to the Lord uh they had victory over their enemies God would manifest himself among them God would use the prophets to bring rate and great Revival to to to Israel in times of Despair the prophets would give the word and God would lead them and and take him through difficult times but there was also times when they didn't listen to the prophet and they would fall into idolatry they would continue and this cycle was always um happening in in Israel they they they would fall into idolatry the Lord would bring him back up and then they would fall again and they cry out to God and God would bring them back and that's that was a cycle in this history of Israel and in this scripture the story we can see that Israel was in one of their lowest spiritual moments because once more they had fallen into idolatry and as a result guess what happened God allowed their enemies the Philistines to take the Ark of the Covenant this beautiful decorated gold-plated chest which was the very symbol of the presence of God it was taken by the enemies of Israel it was stolen from them the Ark of the Covenant was a blessing when it was in the hands of the Israelites but it became a curse in the hands of the Philistines you know why because the presence of God in our life has to align with our lifestyle if we want to enjoy the presence of God in our lives if we want the blessings of God in our lives our lifestyle has to align with his will it has to align with the things that we do things we say places we go how we live life every day and and and because God's presence has to be in line with our lifestyles when it came to the Philistines a idolatrous plays people that was cursed upon them there was a curse up because two of the the presence of God and sin cannot mix there has to be a separation from them too I remember uh this reminds me of the story of brother Tobias and brother tobia said uh I don't know they they they they told me the pastor told me not to come to the church anymore because every time he came to that church the pastor told him I can't prophesy it was one of those false prophets this is a man we baptized in Namibia and and brother tobia said today I'm home fasting and praying because I'm praying for answers and the day I called him that's when he was praying for answers and he said uh uh can you come to my house let's meet and let's talk so I went to his house we met and we talked about his uh his his and his his needs and he said every church I go in the city I know they're missing something but I don't know what it is and then he said the lord gave me the Holy Ghost three years ago and I know those churches are missing something he said the church that I where the pastor made me stand in front of the whole congregation and he told me you're a witch because every time you come I can't prophesy I said because your spirit is irritating his spirits whatever he has because you have the right Spirit he says I I speak in tongues every day every morning I go to that bush over you see that bush over there he pointed to that place so I get up at three four in the morning I go there and I pray and I speak in tongues for hours and then right with us the day is breaking I come home and I get ready and I go to work and I go to church and I have passion for the for the for the word of God and I preach Salvation And he says but they don't like what I do they don't like how I preach they they taught they told me not to go to church the problem was he said that when we left that church my wife believed that man that I'm a witch and he said she said I've been married to a witch for so many years and I had no idea she was so angry with him and he says the next morning I woke up and I was drowning in oil because she was pouring the bottle of oil on my head trying to get the devil out of me and I said brother Tobias that's a funny story he says I know it is but it's true and and he says I've been having services in my house for three months and with my family and I I need direction I don't know where to go anymore I said how were you baptized brother Tobias he says I was baptized in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost I said well I have bad news and good news the bad news are that your baptism is not how the Bible teaches us to be baptized and the good news is that we can fix it in 15 minutes if you're ready he says so I gave him a short bible study I told him read Matthew 28 19 and he read it I explained to him the name of the father is Jesus the name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus in the name of the son is Jesus and then I told him open your Bible to Acts 2 38 he did I say Acts 3 First Matthew 28 19 and then Acts 2 38 and he read it he says Peter said unto them repent um and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus when this man read in the name of Jesus he screamed and he jumped from the chair and he said I see it now it's in the name of Jesus and then he has the most important question he says when can you baptize me so uh to make a long story short we baptize brother Toby that's the day I met him you see his happiness right there that's after he received the revelation of the name of Jesus and we baptized him and his wife and uh but what I'm saying is his Spirit didn't align with the spirit that this man had or the churches where he was there was something missing in those places and and that's what he was looking for uh when he received the revelation of the baptism in Jesus name he said this is what I've been looking for all my life and today brother Tobias is in charge of the churches that we started up in North Namibia going to visit them every week every weekend on the village into the villages and baptizing people and many are still receiving the Holy Ghost today Hallelujah these are the things that God is doing Church with your prayers with your support Pastor mentioned to pray for missionaries we really need prayers out there the most um the the greatest challenge we have is the spirits that come after us after we go to into a village because they they are traditional beliefs and Witchcraft and all kinds of false prophecies and false teachers and pastors and teaching people just to get money out of them that's it's a business for them but when we come with Acts 2 38 there is something that happens the light switch goes on and they see the Revelation they see the importance of being baptized correctly and many people we saw receive this Revelation the name of Jesus Hallelujah and I'm going to go back to my story so first Samuel says 5-2 when they brought the Ark of the Covenant the presence of God they put it in the house of Dagon their God and you know what happened there was Dagan the next morning they woke up and they went to see and there was Dagon on his face to the Earth before the Ark of the Lord so they got him and they put him back up and then they went to sleep and then they woke up the next morning and the next day they came to the house of to the to the Temple of Dagon and they and there was Dagon falling on his face again to the ground before the Ark of the lord of the of the Lord and and this time the head of dagam and both of the palms of his hands were broken off on the threshold what happened it couldn't stand the presence of God in its own house Hallelujah because the presence of God in our house has to remove everything that does not line up with his Spirit when we bring the presence of God into our house church every Idol every sin every filthy thing has to bow down to his presence to the presence of the Lord and the scripture says the presence the the hand of the Lord was heavy on the people of ashdod and he ravaged them and struck them with tumors and both Astrid and its territory their wheat fields and their rice field and their grain Fields began to be plagued by rodents their bodies they they they were plagued with tumors and pestilence and and sometimes you question what's wrong with all these things happening in a third world country let me tell you what's happening it's not because they're not smart they live in such poverty and we question how come God doesn't bless them the way he bless her He blesses us let me tell you what happens they live they are victims of idolatry and the Hand of the Lord is heavy on them it's a very unfortunate thing but it that's that's reality you may say but and I hear people say but where is God how come God doesn't bless all these children they're dying their their starving to death and they live in so much poverty well it's because they have violated one of the most sacred institutions which is marriage there are children being born left and right without the fathers and just because Namibia is one of the countries that we experience they encourage the parents encourage their young daughters to go find a boyfriend and they push them because they're hoping that this boyfriend will provide for them a house they would give him something to eat a place to live and and if they can get pregnant and have a baby it's it's better because that would put a heavier load on this man but you know what it doesn't happen like that they have babies and they never see the man again and that's that's happening every time and it is not because they're not smart it's not because they're not educated but because they are victims of a generational curse and traditions that they they have they have followed and they believe they're believing today and they still live like that and these Philistines um they were smart people but when they brought the presence of God into their land and they continue to live in idolatry with something wrong happened to them then they experience the hand of the Lord against them and and they said we gotta do something I we believe that is because God's Ark is in our land that's why this is happening to us and and then they they begin to say okay I know what we're gonna do we're gonna find the two cows that have never pulled a car before and and then we're gonna hook them to the a hook a card to them and we're gonna put the Ark on the Covenant on top of them and then we're gonna make sure that these two cows have newborn babies newborn calves and we're gonna take these caps and put them in the barn and then we're gonna separate them from their from their from from their moms and and then we're gonna turn these cows loose without a driver and see what happens and if they go straight up the road to Beth shemons that means that the Lord has done this to us if not it was is the opposite I'm sorry we're gonna watch them go up the road and if they go to bed Sheamus is let me read the scripture because I'm if if it goes up the road to its own territory to bet Shem is then he has done us this great evil but if not then we shall know that it is not his hand that struck us and it happened by chance they were saying we're gonna do this and and and we're going to make it a little hard for the Lord if these cows go straight that means the Lord has done this but if not is because it's just a coincidence and they never thought that these cows were just gonna go straight to bed Sheamus and I'm not a farmer I I don't know much about cows but I I know enough to to to to know that uh if we do this I know what will happen if we put a car to a cow that's never pulled a car before and and we take the calves away and put him in the barn and they're crying out there for the for their mamas they these cows are gonna turn the court upside down and throw the ark somewhere out there on the ground and they're gonna head straight to the barn for their calves are crying right that's the natural thing to do that's the natural it reaction of these cows but let me say something they didn't do that they didn't do that God had touched these cows Alleluia God had touched their brains God touched their muscles he touched their body their flesh and they were no longer their own now they were going they were commissioned by God to bring his presence the Ark of the Covenant back to Israel and that's the miracle of this story and the Bible says in verse 12 that those cows went straight for the road to Bath Sheamus blowing as they went crying after those Calves if you please and didn't read and didn't turn to the side to the left or to the right they went straight to the place where God wanted them to go Hallelujah are you following me it's okay but they were no longer their own they were not doing the natural thing to do the natural thing to do was to just throw that card and go to where those calves were blowing and crying for their mamas when God touches you brother or sister and commissions you to do something great for him the commission goes beyond your natural abilities and your education and your understanding when God touches you you're not your own anymore you have to go places where you'd never imagine you would be you never thought you were doing what you're doing today but there's one moment you remember that time when God touched you and he commissioned you to do something special for the Lord I remember the Lord when he began to speak to me about Ministry and I had no idea where he was going to take me or what was going to happen but I came to the room one night and I began to pray and I was right there in my room and something just came over me it was so powerful so heavy that it was so beautiful but I I just felt like a grain of rice or smaller I just dropped myself to the floor and and I couldn't go down anymore because there was something so powerful in this place in this room God touches people to do his work and after that I said Lord I'll do whatever you want me to do and here we are on the other side of the halfway across the world doing something that we never thought I we would be knowing before going to Africa we were pastoring we we had everything everything was good Pastor Gibson everything was great we had two churches there was Revival finances were good I left my job I was going full time we had a team everything was going so great and then one day the Lord said this is not it you're gonna go somewhere else I said but God we worked so hard for this and we we reached that comfortable place and that's the problem this I don't want comfort for you so he we had to turn in the churches and said okay let's move let's move to the next but you know there's a point where your passion moves somebody asked me how do you know when God called you how did you know it was Africa I said well I was pastoring and suddenly I I've lost my passion I went to church every Sunday and tried to pastor and love the people and I love them but the passion was not there and you know when I found it I told him in Africa we went over there and we found it over there when we landed in that place the first time in 2020 everybody remembers that year right we were just getting off the plane and we just felt it all of us were just crying walking down the aisles at the airport we got out of that airport it was chaos everything smelled different everything looked different it was we were we were um stop right away with surrounded with Soldiers with machine guns and just because we were different it's a it happens so that's the third world country for you and uh but you know what it felt right this is the right place to be this is where God has called to be and and what I'm saying is God touches you and he commissions you to do things you never thought you would be doing so when you when God sends you to do things that you never thought you would be doing don't doubt that God is with you he is with you and he's leading you and I don't know where you are in your in your ministry what you are doing for the Lord if you you're probably thinking about it you're probably scared to go do Bible study and talk to your neighbor talk to your your co-worker your your friends don't don't hold back Church brother or sister God has given you the Holy Ghost and you have the authority you have the power of the name of Jesus to to speak and say there is a God you can find Salvation you can find the peace and the blessings of God like I did just speak it out talk to someone and don't let anything hold back hold you back because we don't have much time to waste many souls are waiting for us to reach them they are crying in desperation and confusion but we have the answers because we have the Bible and we have the anointing of the Holy Ghost Hallelujah this brother tobias's mom she came and she said if you can prove to me with the Bible that what you're preaching is true I'll let you come and preach to my church I said I didn't know she was a pastor and say okay we went to her house gave her the same bible study this woman received the Revelation right there and she covered her face with her Bible and she dropped to the floor laughing with so much joy she couldn't stop laughing and then she said when can you baptize me we baptized her we went back to her church to preach the same message we baptized the whole congregation everyone was filled with the Holy Ghost and that church is still producing people every Sunday they baptized someone there and somebody's receiving the Holy Ghost Hallelujah we have to go out and say and speak and do what what the Lord has called us to do these cows were walking a new road they they were going down a road that had never been walked before everything was new to them everything was new and when you do the work of God and you are Commission of the Lord you may find yourself in strange places strange situations in places that you are not comfortable but you know what that's where the Lord wants you you know 2020 we landed in Nigeria City uh a country of over 200 million people Legos Nigeria Lagos Nigeria it's a city of 22 million people only one city there are people everywhere they sleep right outside your door they they're in the streets they everything they live on the streets there's not enough housing there's not enough food there's not enough anything room for them so three weeks after we landed they closed the the um the the city the airports everything shut down there was gangs there was uh uh in the middle of the night just going out and breaking into places because they're hungry they wanted to eat they wanted to they stopped working they stopped eating so they we get uh we got emails from the U.S embassy saying do not leave your house stay in your house don't show your face we were locked down inside the house for two months and I'm not exaggerating two months ran out of food trying to pray and and lower sin send the birds to bring the meat because we we're hungry and we prayed and the Lord provided we were able to make it two months and then we got out and praise God we're out again but what I'm saying is not comfortable but that's what the Lord that's where he wanted us at the time right there we begin to give Bible studies to our garden we had a guard and I told them come on let's let's study the word of God and he received the the the the the teachings and and the Revelation and we baptized him in Jesus name the Lord filled them with the Holy Ghost because you got to do something even in the most uncomfortable times there is there is a an anointing that is on you that the Lord has given you and you are you have to keep going you have to keep pushing forward there's nothing that's going to stop the church there's nothing that's going to stop us because the Lord has commissioned us to do his work Hallelujah these cows were in a very uncountable position they were going against their own will they looked the straight way to bet Sheamus and they went up you can be sure that they could hear the lawing of those calves in the barn but there was something powerful pulling them when they're in the direction they needed to go and invisible force that was spoiling these cows but they had been commissioned by the Lord and they had set their faces store Israel not letting anything to disturb them and the Bible says they did not turn to the right or to the left and when you do the work of the Lord the world is going to be pulling you is going to be trying to distract you is going to be offering you opportunities something is going to come up and then that's when you have to say I I have been commissioned by the Lord to do something greater than what this world can offer me we've seen many follow the lures of this world the the what the eye can see but you've got to keep your head in the right direction Church no matter how much it hurts oh or how much pain you have you got to keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ the Bible says in first Samuel 6 12 they went along the highway lowing as they went and didn't turn to the left or to the right this reminds me of the scripture in Psalms 126 where it says Those Who sow in tears shall reap enjoy he who continually Goes Forth weeping bearing seed for sowing shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bringing his sheeps with him those poor cows were feeling a lot of pain a lot of pain and when you do the work of the Lord some day someplace you're going to feel pain and a lot of it but you know what it's okay God is with you the Lord is with you and but the end result is very rewarding we're not there yet but in the meantime let's give it all whatever it is whatever the Lord has called us to do the people of Hashem is they lifted their eyes and saw the ark coming and and they rejoiced about it they saw the ark and they rejoiced and they must have been a very astounded to see the ark with no driver coming towards them and when they saw the cows with no driver then they saw the ark they knew that God was performing a miracle a supernatural miracle and and bringing the presence of God back to them and the Bible says that they rejoiced to see it people rejoice when you bring the truth you it's very humbling to go we would Minister in villages when I say Villages places very remote isolated into the bush huts and that's how people live they live off of the land they they raise chicken and that's what they eat they raise corn and Millet and all kinds of vegetables whatever they need off of the land and that's where and we go into those places and for them is such an honor for a white person I'm not white okay but there I am I was born in Mexico and I'm Mexican but I'm white in Africa praise God so it's such an honor for a white person from the United States to come into their Village they feel so privileged and they do their best to honor you and they cook for you which I Lord please don't we we try to eat their food but it's very difficult and we um thank God for The Interpreter because he eats it all and uh and the good thing is they they serve the food and they walk away and they they leave you eating with with your with your um with the people you come with and so we as soon as they leave we taste it we we do eat I'm not saying we don't but uh but it's it's not uh the kind of food we're used to so they love it The Interpreter so they eat it but what I'm saying is they do their best they Rejoice they Rejoice they put us in a little they call it the wading Hut the waiting room it's a it's a small Hut with benches and then we sit and then the the women they sit you there and then the men of the village he has to come and invite you into the rest of the the house so you have to sit there until the man comes so when the man comes then they but what I'm saying when you're sitting in there they walk in their knees to greet you and that's very humbling because they know that you are bringing something to them and you give him the you give him the gospel you give him the word of God and you give him Acts 2 38 something they've never heard before and it's very it's it's encouraging and it's it's very refreshing to see people receive the the name of Jesus Acts 2 38 something they don't have I baptized one man and said he told me why did you people take so long to come to Namibia why because they're waiting they're rejoicing to see you come so father I know it's Father's Day and I'm not preaching a Father's Day message but here it is if you do God's will your children are going to rejoice as a result for eternity but if you fail to do the will of God even for a short time someone or someone in your family your children may wail and cry throughout eternity because you failed so we are responsible we have such a great responsibility in our hands with our family with our children that we have to stay focused and just go straight up to that road and on that road to bet Sheamus and bring the presence of God to where it needs to be sometimes we just get distracted and look to the to the right or the left and distractions of this world may pull you but you know I encourage you today stay focused stay focused and look straight and keep your eyes on the Lord because your children will rejoice with you for eternity but if you fail someone will cry also for eternity so just to finish what is the reward of sacrifice the natural thing to do when these cows came was to take him bet them give them some water and and thank them for bringing the presence of God but you know what that's not what they did the natural thing to do was to give him some food and water and return them to their calves right away because they're hungry over there and they're still crying let's take them back very as soon as we can get the the ark out and disconnect the card let's take him back to their calves and what do we do with the card oh the cart let's put it in the in the city hall let's make a a national attraction so people can come and this will be a symbol of the the car that the Lord used to bring the presence of God back to us and the cows we're gonna send them back to to where they came from that's not what they did Samuel first Samuel 6 14 says they split the wood of the card and then they offered the cows as a burnt offering to the Lord how cruel that is wow what about the little babies crying for their mamas over there you know what when it comes to how much God wants from you there's no stopping place and we must be willing to give it all it doesn't matter what happens Luke 17 10 the Lord said likewise when you have done all those things which you are commanded what do you say we are unprofitable servants we have done what was our duty to do our only duty is to preach the name of Jesus preach the name of Jesus before God when God was dealing with me about Africa and I was confused and I was fighting with him and I was arguing with him and trying to understand why one day I it was like a vision something happened and everything went dark and I was hanging in vast I don't know where I don't know it was just dark around me nothing else around me it was just like I was somewhere in a place where it was just dark and I couldn't see I couldn't hear anything and that I am hanging looking around like what what happened and then I heard the voice your only purpose is to preach my name that's all I heard and I said okay Lord I guess nothing around matters I gotta do his will and after serving a year and a half in Namibia I could have said you know what we've done so much in this country we went to villages we preached the name of Jesus we saw many receive the Holy Ghost and we baptized full churches in the name of Jesus I think we research we deserve some kind of recognition from this place guess what it didn't happen like that in fact they kicked us out of the country they did the lady that was helping us with our visas she stole our passport she stole her money she stole all our documents and she kept promising that we're gonna give him to you you're gonna have him next week and next month wait a minute I'm getting married I'm sick my father died all these excuses when I told her you know what we gotta go we need passports we need our visa she says uh I'll meet you at the airport the missionary told me you know what she's lying don't listen to her just go to the immigration let him know what happened and pray that they won't put you in jail we went to immigration and I believe me it was a scary moment they took me to an office and you were being illegal here for a year well over a year yes and they the lady kept threatening we're gonna put you in jail you're in your whole family I said it's not my fault no matter what I said she was willing to take us into custody and make a long story short at the end she says I'm going to give you um two weeks to leave I said I can't leave in two weeks I have a house full of furniture we have a car we have we need to sort things out and see what we're gonna do and she said okay how much time do you need I go I need a month and she went in the other office called her higher authorities and they came and they it was a long a long deal happening there but what I'm saying is she finally gave us a letter she gave us a month and then she said come the day before you're going to leave with your passports and I'm Gonna Stand I'm going to give you a letter stamp so we came um after a month we came to our office she gave us a stamp and then we went to the airport but they kicked us out of the country and I could have said man these people are so ungrateful but that's not our reward this world is never going to reward you for preaching the name of Jesus in fact they were to totally the opposite the opposite and I'm gonna we're gonna show you the video right now if it's okay um yesterday the washing filthy feet Here I Am Lord if it's loving one another even when we don't agree Here I Am Lord send me if I'm poor if I'm wealthy serve you just the same here I am always here I am I know trying to work on the sound brother is it okay or amen well they fixed the the sound dead when I stand I would hope I will choose to praise if God has given you the calling if a God has anointed you don't hold back give it all to the Lord and just before we go I'm going to challenge you to help with one of our projects um there's a story that I say that I tell every time of this young boy on the at the beach and he's picking up starfish and he throws them in the water and he goes one by one he picks him up and throws him in the water and then a man comes by and the man asked him what what are you doing young man and the boy said I'm throwing them back in the water because the tide is going down and the Sun is going up if I don't put him in the water they're gonna die and the man says but what difference do you think you're making don't you see there are thousands and thousands of starfish in the water on the on the sand what difference do you think you're making and the boy said he picked up another one and he threw it in the water says it made a difference for that one he picked up another one and he threw it in the water and he says it made a difference for that one we may not see with our human understanding how we're going to be able to reach the world and eight billion people but you know what thank God for one that got baptized the other day thank God for brother Tobias that received the message and was baptized in Jesus name and now he's preaching thank God for his mom that received thank God for those that this church has baptized in the last month thank God for that one so I'm gonna challenge you can you Isaiah bring me the I'm going to challenge you this morning if you can help us with one of our projects we have these little guys right here and it says I'm making a difference for that one can you donate a hundred
