And my my my, what a crowd we have here in the house of the Lord this evening. Won't you give yourself a big hand for coming to church tonight? All of our guests, thank you so much. Thank you so much for coming. And the reason I have you clap for yourself tonight is you knew that I was the only one here. And uh we're not good at math, but we might be good at arithmetic. And the chances of me preaching tonight were very, very great. And so I appreciate you being here knowing that fact. And I I give you great honor. Uh Brother Andrew, I just read your lips. You said that's true. All right. I appreciate you. No, I'm just kidding. Speaking of brother Landry is smiling so big he could barely fit the smile through the door tonight. And that is because God has answered Brother Landry Preston's prayers. Amen. Amen. Amen. I don't know where your future bride is, Brother Landry. She's might have changed her mind, but uh no, I I'm totally teasing. I uh Sister Maggie Berriak and uh Brother Landry Preston got engaged yesterday and we send them a big congratulations. Amen. Amen. Landre is my buddy and uh I wanted to I want you to know if you have a child in Kids Quest, uh Brother Landry and Sister Maggie both have played uh a big part in their lives um through their journey through Kids Quest and I give them uh great great honor and the sky is the limit on on the presence. I know your mom and dad Landrew smiling big and and Maggie your mom is smiling so big here tonight. I give them uh great honor. I love to see good people get together. >> I I love This is what we call the power couple. I can't wait. And the only thing I'm going to make them do is they better never leave the city of Marville, Tennessee. That's It's the only way we're going to marry him. Can I get an amen for the church tonight? Amen. That's already settled. Whatever settled in earth is settled in heaven. So there you go. What a wonderful word we heard this morning. And uh two souls have been baptized in Jesus name. One receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. And I believe the Lord deserves a big hand clap offering for what he did tonight. Amen. Amen. Amen. Let's turn in our Bibles tonight to Ezra verse chapter 9 and verse number five. Ezra 9 and five. I don't know if I've ever preached out of this book of the Bible. And I pray the Lord will help me tonight. Ezra 9 and5 it says and at evening at the evening sacrifice I rose up from my heaviness having rent my garment and my mantle. I fell upon my knees and spread out my hands unto the Lord my God and said,"Oh my God, I am ashamed and blushed to lift up my face to thee, my God, for our iniquities are increased over our head. And our trespass is gone, is grown up unto the heavens. Since the day of our fathers have we been in great trespass unto this day. For our iniquities have we our kings and our priests. Everybody have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the land. To the sword to the captivity to the spoil and to the confusion of faith as it is this day. There's a little bit of hope when we get to verse number eight. We've gone through sin. We've gone through turmoil. We've gone through hard times. This is what I believe the Lord's going to speak to us tonight. And now for a little space, grace. Now for a little space, grace has been showed from the Lord our God. Here's why he showed up. To leave us a remnant to escape and to give us a nail in his holy place. I want a nail in his holy place. I want a place I can always go to. I can always reach for a nail in his holy place. That God may lighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage. For we were bond men, yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but has extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia to give us a reviving. Somebody say reviving. to set up the house of our God and to repair the desolations thereof and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. I've come to preach tonight to you great group of people on the fear of the Lord. Come to preach tonight on America's revival a sermon entitled Turning Point FAC. turning point FAC. I don't know who is in this house that you need a turning point, but I want to tell you the word of the Lord. There's a little space of grace that has shown for you tonight. And when God shows up, God always shows up when everything will change. I want to tell somebody tonight if you're weary in mind, there could be a turning point in your life. I want to tell somebody tonight with a gift of faith going to operate. If you have a sickness in your body, tonight could be a turning point in your life. If you believe that in the in the word of the Lord tonight, if you'd clap your hands and let's shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Come on, let's receive the word of the Lord tonight. God, I'm going to give you my absolute best. But God, we're nothing without your anointing tonight, Father. For we need a move of your spirit this evening. We do everything in your name. In Jesus' name, someone say in Jesus name. You may be seated in the fear of the Lord tonight. Turning Point FAC. I am no prophet, but sometimes work in common sense. And we can turn on the TV and turn on the news and see that our nation has turned its back on God. Not just talking about the apostolic doctrine. Not even talking about the New Testament experience. I'm talking about they've turned their back on the word of God. Even the moral code has changed. And and when you begin to read in the Search for Truth Bible study, they begin to give you all the stats of families falling apart and divorce rates and and abortion rates and all the numbers. It is humorous to read those numbers on the Search for Truth chart because that was written 40 years ago. And even since then, we've become a more backsliden nation. We've abandoned God. We've abandoned his holy word. And in that, almost all standards of right and wrong have changed. Like the scripture says, men would call good evil and evil good. It's a few years ago. I was a sophomore in high school and uh I was in youth leadership blunt and we what we would do is a Tuesday out of every month we would just tour the community and go through businesses and places of business. Uh we would go through factories and we would go through uh uh things that make Maraveville great. And while I preach on a backsliden nation, I am thankful we live in a god-fearing community. I'm thankful we live in a God-fearing community. And I believe the Lord deserves a a a head clap offering for where we live in East Tennessee. Not only the greatest nation on the earth, but the greatest state and the greatest community in the state. I believe that with all my heart. But as we would begin to travel from business to business and travel from school to school, it was on the docket one Tuesday that we would visit every school for about 30 minutes. And I can't remember how many schools were on the slate for that day. And I won't mention the name of the high school that we walked into, but they they took us into the high school and it was like I was in a land of giants. And uh I've never seen boys so tall that were supposedly a senior in high school. All right. Never. I was like David in a land of a land of giants. I was I was like the children of Israel, grasshoppers in our own sight. The first class they took us to was a philosophy class. I never heard of a philosophy class before. Me and my sheltered education here at Apostolic Christian Academy. I've never heard of such philosophy. you know, I we don't have a class called philosophy. And so I walked in with 15 to 20 other students all across the community. And uh this is what I heard. Now, keep in mind, I was in a public school for about 10 minutes on a random day in this random class, random Tuesday. And this is what the teacher was teaching. He asked the question to the class. She said, "What makes murder wrong?" And silence, just like tonight, silence was over the class. Somebody raised their hand and said, "Well, I feel bad." And the teacher responded back and said, "Well, why do you feel bad? If I would murder somebody, I would feel bad." He said, "Why? Why would you feel bad?" Well, I I I I guess it's how I've been raised. Well, the teacher responded back and said, "And I'm if I'm lying, I'm dying tonight." The teacher responded back and said, "Well, what if you were raised the wrong way?" All right. Another another student, it wasn't me. I didn't have the faith. It wasn't my class. I wasn't talking. All right. I was in the land of giants. Wasn't lifting my voice. It wasn't my place. Another one said, "Well, I feel convicted if I took somebody's life. And where'd you get your conviction? Some uh uh where'd you get your conviction from?" Well, I got it from God. I I got it from the word of God. And the teacher responded back, "You guessed it." Well, what if that's wrong? And what if the word of God is wrong? I've come to tell us tonight with that thought process and that thinking, our country is going to hell. >> I've come to tell us we've got to stand upon the authority of the word of God. This is the only thing that will stand forever. This is the only thing that will never pass away. And our lives have got to be stood upon the word of God. You know why it's wrong? Because the Bible says it's wrong. And we're going to stand upon the authority of the word of God. And while I mentioned high schools, we are so privileged and honored to have teachers in this community that doesn't don't necessarily teach in our school. We're we're privileged to have Dr. John Phipe, Sharon, John Phipe, that would put us all to shame tonight. And I'm thankful and again I go back to I go back to that were raised in a community that is God-fearing. That's not everywhere, but I'm thankful we have an apostolic woman on University of Tennessee campus and she is apostolic and I thank God for that. That's exactly what we need. We don't need teachers shy about what they know. We don't need teachers shy about what they're what they know in God's word. We need some people that will stand up for the word of God and be lights to a lost and dying world. That's exactly what we need. Amen. So, when I mention our community, I'm not talking about teachers in I I'm thankful. I'm thankful we've got them. But if if I was in a class for 10 minutes on a random Tuesday and a random lesson about why is murder wrong, that that is fearful to me. We know that this nation is backsliding and there has to be a turning point. There has to be a turning point. We know people are offended at everything. We could go down this route and preach for a little bit that we know that many shall be offended and shall betray one another and shall hate one another. You're scared to share truth because the chance of offending somebody. We see and it's such a fearful time when you open up search of truth Bible study. It starts to talk about school shootings, how they're once in a blue moon, but now you turn on the news and it's like a school shooting once a week, mass shootings that are taking place. And just to think, just to think, people, that we've witnessed a man by the name of Charlie Kirk be shot in the neck and that that video will live on the internet for all of eternity, more than likely, which that tells me a wife could go on the internet and watch a video of her husband being assassinated. Even worse than that, two kids so far or or two or three kids have a video online of their dad being assassinated. That sickens me. That sickens me. And now we've somehow returned back to normal. But that's how that's how it works. We get stirred up for a little bit, then we go back to normal. But I've come to tell us we're the church of the living God. And I believe in the last day, God is stirring us up. And in that last day, that stirring will not stop. That stirring will continue. And the fire will grow. And the fire will grow for the end time revival. I want to tell us that God is doing something in the end times. And it starts right now. It starts with a turning point. It starts with somebody declaring truth. Amen. Where did we go wrong that people want to shoot up churches and schools? And I've come to tell everybody this tonight. This is not political. This is not political. I shouldn't even have to preface that. >> It's not political. And I know some people get nervous when you begin to talk about uh it controversial things. I don't think school shootings and church shootings and mass shootings are controversial things. But I know it gets a little awkward, gets a little sticky, gets a little heavy. And I I just come to ask us a question. Have you ever thought that weak pull pits are how we got in the mess in the first place? I've come to ask you, have you ever thought that when we were scared to preach God's word behind the the sacred desk is how we got how we got in the mess in the first place? I'm thankful. I'm at Turning Point FAC where this pull pit is is strong. It's willing to preach with a back of a crowbar. It's willing to preach with a backbone like a crowbar. I'm thankful men how we got here in the first place. Men >> rather carry their purses rather than preaching God's word. >> We're scared to call out things like right and wrong. >> I tell you, that's how we got here. >> That's how we got here. >> I know people get all uptight when you start to get I'm not getting political. Not getting political, but that's what preachers were in the Bible. They would stand up against ungodly cultures. >> You read the Bible, they're calling out the sins of the people. You read the Bible, they're calling out sins of kings and queens. And if it happened in the Bible and they had a demonstration of God, it should still happen in the church today because I want the fire of the Holy Ghost. If somebody's in sin, we're going to call them out. But we're going to love them and show them how they ought to change. We're going to love them through their sins. Tonight in the prayer room, I prayed that God would give me a backbone like a crowbar. But I also prayed that God would make my heart as big as an ocean. I pray that God would give me the strength to stand upon his word and unashamedly, passionately share the word of God, the rights and the wrongs of scripture. But my heart is so big tonight. If you find yourself in sin, you're not going to be condemned, but you're going to be loved through your sin. And we're going to love you out of your sin because there's a turning point for every single person. pull pits that are scared. I'm thankful not this church. >> I don't know where why people get so uptight and affecting our cultures. It's like politics and holiness people are scared to mention. >> It's like holiness gets mentioned. God forbid the Bible says follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. >> Do we want people to see God? Then we're going to preach holiness. >> If we're going to if we want to see God people to see God in the revelation of who he is, we're going to preach a separated life. That's what happens at the turning point FAC. We go on. I be very careful when I start to mention things like this, but shootings that begin to look like have a motive. people. God, give me the backbone of crowbar, but give me the heart as big as an ocean. People who are battling in their mind who they are, thinking they're a different gender, >> transgender shootings. And I looked up I went to Almighty Grock today and tried to look up some statistics concerning shootings that the perpetrator was identified as transgender. and the epidemic that we are in when mass shootings seem to be from a person who claims to be transgender. This is what it said to me. These incidents are tragic, but this is not indicative of patterns talking about being transgender. Research shows no evidence that transgender identity causes violence. factors like access to firearms, mental health crisis and extremisms are far more relevant for you to search. All right? So rather we would talk about again this is not political. This is just the culture. We'd rather talk about how to control the gun rather than talking about how to control the person who has a gun. We don't have a gun problem. We have a sin problem. >> We have a sin problem. Oh Jesus. Hey, I I you have a firearm. You don't believe in that? I'm not trying to cross swords with anybody. I'm just trying to tell you we have a sin problem. If somebody can use a vehicle to run people over, you going to outlaw vehicle next? No. I don't think so. You like your vehicle? What about we go all the way to the first murder in scripture? You going to outlaw rock? Outlaw rocks? >> No. How about we do this? Instead of outlawing vehicles, stones, how about we outlaw sin? >> How about we outlaw sin? How about we call sin what it is? I'm calling out the sin of of being a transgender today, but not to be so mean and so rude to a person. No, no, no. Just call them out so they'll change their ways because it's the sin. It's a sin problem. How about we do something about the sin? We need a turning point of the sin that's facing our nations. If we cut out all the sin, we'll have less abortions. If we cut out the sin, we'll have less divorces. If we cut out the sin, we'll have less families being torn apart and kids growing up without a father. If we cut out this We have a sin problem. We have a sin problem. And I've got you. I pulled you in, church. Now I'm ready to get you with a left hook here. Okay. >> We're quick to call out sins in the world. But tonight, I give God give me a backbone of a crowbar to make my heart as big as an ocean. We are quick to call out the sin of the world, but what about the sin in the church? >> Can't walk in a certain section because there's a certain someone sitting there. >> You know what I'm going to call that tonight? >> Sin. >> That's what that is. If you can't walk on the other side of the church because there's somebody that might ruffle your feathers, you need to go to that person like the Bible says, figure out your conflict. Ask one another to forgive each other and move on. It's sin. It's sin. I don't have to have a brother or sister in the church. I don't claim them as a brother or sister. That's sin. That's sin. That's sin. That's sin. You don't believe me? Here's the Bible. 1 John 4:20. If a man say, "I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen," how can he love God who he hath not seen? I'll tell you what, that lie in that being a liar in this scripture will send you to hell just as quick as transgenderism. That lie not loving a brother when you love God who you have not seen but can't love your brother who you have seen that will send you to hell just like homosexuality will. That lie that you can't love your brother and get Oh, I wish somebody helped me preach tonight. I'm talking about that. That sin will send you to hell just as quick as adultery and fornication. And if we're not careful, it'll just be me and my group and me in my pew and hate the person across the pew. Oh Jesus. It's sin. It's sin. And to quote old brother Dean Volantine, there's sin in the camp. There's sin in the camp. You ever get them around say, "Oh, brother Nolan, there's sin in the camp." What's the sin? Well, the train's out of gas. All right. Well, brother. It's a sin problem. It's a sin problem. I ask I hope God forgives you of your sin of not wanting to be around somebody who worships right beside you. >> How will you be able to worship through all eternity when you can't worship beside somebody else who you have a fault with? >> And in my preaching today, God give me the backbone of a crowbar with a heart as big as an ocean. If right now I preach about that and say we're quick to call out everything, but we're not quick to go to a brother and ask him to forgive us after this service. It would be the will of God for you to go to that person and have a conversation with. >> It's not God's will. It's sin. We see church is not having problems. The world's having problems. Family being torn apart. In 2023, and these numbers are outdated, but in 2023, approximately 18.1 million children under the age of 18 are live living in a single parent household. This defines a household with one parent or at least one child under 18. No other parent present. This breaks down to about 15.1 million with a single mother and three million with a single father. That is 25% of kids that grow up with one parent. Where did it start? Where did it start? Satan thought it was appropriate to dumb down strong preaching in the church. No wonder Satan fights good, strong preaching about a marriage being between one man and one woman for a lifetime. No wonder Satan uh hates strong preaching about godly morals in a godly family. And if I could just get ahead of myself tonight and preach about Turning Point USA and how we need to become like Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk had a mission. Every time somebody would come up and talk to him, you would almost get a question about an individual. You would get a question about gender ideology or the value of a baby in a mother's womb. Every time it was like individual questions were asked. How does this affect me and how I live? Individual questions. And if we trace it all the way back, Satan destroyed powerful preaching in the church which destroyed the family. And now we've got individual just problems in their minds who they claim to be. I'm a man this day and I'm a woman this day and whatever I want to be the next day. And I'm not making fun of them. I'm trying to love them out of this because we need to go back to strong preaching in the church. We need to go to convictional preaching in the church. It's okay for you to get convicted. How do you think they got the Holy Ghost in the upper room? They were pricricked in their heart. And when we have strong preaching, we have strong families and we produce strong individuals. It's strong preaching. So if Charlie Kirk Charlie Kirk would try to fix individual things and he was a family man, you would always recommend get yourself in a bibleelving church. I believe it's the same way. Why do we have gender ideology problems? Because the church has fell out of revival. Why do we have families being port po torn apart? Why do we have 25% of kids being raised in a a one parent household? Because the church stopped having revival. But tonight, I believe the word of the Lord is it's going to be a turning point that starts in this house. It's going to be a turning point. God is is no respector of persons. God does not does he he honors all bit of prayer. And I've come to tell us there's a reason that this church has went into a season of prayer for the last several months. I believe it's stirring something up for revival to come that shakes our community. We need a turning point. And that if that turning point is called an altar and if we can prepare this place for people with gender ideologies and problems like that to come in here, they will have a turning point. I pray that every single mother out of the sound of my voice would have a turning point tonight. I pray that every family that fosters children in the community would have a turning point here at this place. The church lost its passion. Church has lost its conviction, which produces the church losing its revival. The only way for families that that that can and will be saved and the world to be changed is for the church to have revival. church needs revival. Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah could easily fit into the United States and how we are living. The destruction of the world through the flood could easily fit with how the United States is acting and how it's living. Paul said to Timothy, "In the last days, perilous times shall come." Jesus would say that there would be rumors that there would be wars and rumors of wars. Nations would rise against nation and kingdoms against kingdoms, pestilence and famines and earthquake. And it would be easy to hide in a doomsday prep bunker. But that's not what the church is supposed to do in the last days. Because in the last days is where God will do his best work. In the last days, I'm going to say it again, in the last days is when God will do his best work. Because the Bible says in Acts chapter 2:1 17, "In the last days, and it shall come to pass in the last days, sayeth God, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your own men shall dream dreams, and on my servants, and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy." In the last days is when God's going to do his best and greatest works. And that's why the Bible says that the latter shall be greater than the former. That's talking about the reign of the Holy Ghost. I'm thankful for the day of Pentecost, but that's not the latter. The latter is what God's doing right now. In the last days is what God's going to do his best work. And if I could come to preach to this nation tonight, in this community, in this church, we are in need of CPR. And here's what CPR is. A Christ prevailing revival. That's exactly what we need tonight. None of that weird mouthto-mouth stuff. This is what we need. A Christ prevailing revival. We need revival in our churches. And it all starts in our homes. We need revival in our priorities. And it all starts with the moms and dads going through the motions. This is not going to bring a revival that changes people. We need a Christ prevailing revival. We need a Christ prevailing revival to change up our priorities. And I know people are busy. I'm blessed. I live about 10 seconds from the church. It's easier for me to walk there than it is to get in my car and drive here. But if all possible, you need to get to the church and pray. You need to get to the church and pray. I know people I know I I I don't want to be I don't I don't want to be ignorant. I don't want to be rude to anybody that just physically some people drive an hour and hour and a half to church. I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about if you can be here, please be here because there's a revival going on. Sun up to sun down. And in this revival, we're seeing kids be praying out loud for the first time at 8:00 from the school that we've never seen pray out loud before. That's what we need. We need some prayer to go forth that shakes us. I've come to tell us, let God, get in your priorities. If you can be here, I'm going to shut my eyes so I'm not looking at anybody. You need to be here for prayer. You need to be here for prayer. Oh God, I feel like I've hit a brick wall. You need to be here for prayer. You need to be here for prayer if all possible. Please. Why? Because that's the turning point. When we turn to repentance and we turn to God, God will hear our prayers. >> He will open up heaven. The Bible says, "If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven. Forgive your sins. I'll hear the land. I heal your land." But it starts with prayer. We need a Christ prevailing revival. I know I've preached a little doomsday here. It's It's all right. How wicked the world gets, the more God desires to be with his people. Luke 168, I'll skip a verse here, says, "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he hath visited and redeemed his people." Ask Lot and his family if God will visit them in the middle of Sodom and Gomorrah. Ask the he three Hebrew boys if God will visit them when they are in a wicked culture in a land that is so unfamiliar to them. We need revival because we have a sin problem. We have a sin problem. >> And Ezra Ezra knew the people had a sin problem. And this was the cry to God in our opening verse about needing revival. It gives us five reasons why God gives us revival. The turning point is revival. The turning point when things change, everybody say revival. >> Ezra nine. Verse number eight. Now for a little space, grace had been shown from the Lord our God to leave us remnant to escape, to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage. For we were bond men. Yet God, our God, hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. The first reason God gives us revival is for God to leave a remnant. This is not talking about a quantity of people, but this is talking about a quality of people. God does not concern himself with a number of people, but rather the quality of people. The hunger of somebody. God is just looking for a remnant. A remnant can change the world. A remnant could start something in Jerusalem that has still spread out and is still going on called the day of Pentecost. That's the power of a remnant. God is not interested in winning a popularity contest. >> He's never concerned himself with that. If he would start all over with eight during the flood, I believe he just needs two or three. The Bible says, "Well, let's just say eight." I believe God is just looking for a remnant. That's why God gives us revival. Elijah was one of the only ones in the midst of the prophets of Baal to lift his voice. The prophets of Baal were the majority. But Elijah finds a broken down altar and restores the altar and prays a short prayer to God. And in a restored altar, the fire falls. And I love this. That's not the end of the story. the fire falls. But a people that were not willing to lift their voices, the children of Israel, they didn't lift their voice in the beginning. It was only Elijah. Nobody else lifted their voice for God. But at the end, the children of Israel lifted up their voice. And they said, "The Lord, he is God. The Lord, he is the God. God is looking for a remnant." It may not take a group of people to get the Holy Ghost moving here tonight. It just may take one person that goes to an old broken down altar and you begin to make some vows to God of how you're going to get back to prayer. And if God could find a remnant in your family, I want to speak faith to someone tonight. If God could find a remnant in your family that you're willing to lift your voice when nobody else is, you're willing to take a stand when nobody else is standing and you find a rim that God will place the fire on your family. That's the first reason. The second reason might be my favorite. And the second reason is is to put a peg in his holy place. One one translation says a peg, this King James version says a nail in his holy place. Revival gives us a place in his presence. A place we can go back to over and over. and over again. Doesn't matter how far you get out. Doesn't matter how far you get out. If you could just get back to the now in the holy place. >> If you could just get back to that place that God has established in his holy place and in the presence of God, there is fullness of joy. Who would not want to be in the holy place? Who would not want to be when the Holy Ghost is fallen? Who would not want to be when the choir's singing and they begin to say, "Hey, tell your neighbor, God's been good to you." Who wouldn't want to be in the holy place when God and his holies angels begin to move? I want my family to be in the peg in the holy place. >> Doesn't matter how much life knocks you down. If I could just find the peg in the holy place. Doesn't matter how the winds of culture begin to blow on me and and may try to destroy me. If I could just get to the peg, the nail in the holy place. That's that's my position. The nail in the holy place. I read a a commentator that says Ezra might be when he's when he's praying to God, he might be talking about a nail in somebody's house that travelers begin to hang their baggage on. I said, "Dear God in heaven, that'll help me preach, and I hope it will right now. It's a nail in the holy place that you could put your baggage on. have come to tell us we've got to establish a nail in the holy place for when our community comes running for a turning point. They have a place to put their baggage, all their scars, all their burdens. They have a place to put their transgender ideologies. They have a place to put their sin and act like nothing else is wrong. I put my my my scars and my mistakes on the nail in the holy place. How can you preach that? Well, I'll tell you how I can preach it. There were three nails that give us a place in the holy place. And that was a nail in his hand, another nail in his hand, and nails in his feet. And because of those nails, we have a place in his holy place. If I could just get in the holies of holies, I find liberty in my life. If I could get in the holy place. Oh, if I could just get where the fire is fallen and the presence of God is moving, I can connect to the nail in the holy place. Number three, that God may lighten our eyes. Revival gives us perspective that about what we are going through. You need revival to understand why you're going through persecution. You need revival to understand why you're in the season that you are in. That God may lighten our eyes. It's easy to sit back and say, "Oh, poor pitiful me." But if you have revival, God just change changes your perspective. God opens your eyes to see what pushed you into a time of prayer. God opens your eyes to see why God has convicted you and God may lighten your eyes on the season that you are in. Number four, this is why God gives us revival to repair the house of the Lord. Nobody wants to come to a dead church. Nobody wants to That's how they feel inside. Why would they want to come to a church that's dead? That's why it's our job to repair the house of the Lord for when they come. That's why it's our job to keep it hot and redot. And it all starts in a 5:30 prayer room where I saw that probably 99% of you stopped by and said, "God, we need you. God, we need you." Why were there a bunch of ruckus going on in the prayer room? Because we're preparing the house of the Lord. We're preparing a place for people to come and people to find healing, people to find restoration to build the house >> of the Lord. And maybe we could talk about our commitment to the house of God. Lord, give me the backbone as a crowbar. A heart as big as an ocean. Somebody say, "Bless the Lord." >> Thank you for that. If at all possible, we have church three times a week. >> Amen. At all possible. I know every service may have a different gear to them, but there's not one service that's more important than the other. We got to repair our relationship with the house of God. If you weren't here Wednesday night, you missed a powerful word from the Lord. When Bishop Hans got done preaching, he gave a word from the Lord. We've got to restore our our relationship with the house of God. And I'm not trying to be insensitive to anybody's work schedule, but you need the house of God. You need it. You need it than any greater. You need it better. You need it more than any sports schedule. If if sports is what's destroying our relationship with the house of God, I pray your kid is the most unathletic thing. I pray your kid grows up with two feet. Two two feet. Yeah. Two left feet. I pray they can't walk in a straight line because it doesn't matter if they can't walk in a straight line athletically. All it matters is they can walk on the streets of gold one day. All that matters they can walk on the streets of gold one day. It doesn't matter if they have a gold medal around their neck in Christian school competition. It matters about them getting there. Oh God, prepare our I feel the Holy Ghost right now. Come on. We got to repair our relationship with the house of God. How long has it been since you've been through a Wednesday night Bible study? How long has it been since you've been faithful to the house of God? Prepare. I feel the Holy Ghost right now. If you will repair his house, God will repair your house. I feel that in the Holy Ghost tonight. If you will make emphasis on the house of God and the ways of God and the things of God, God will go to your house and he'll make that nail in the holy place in your living room if you'll focus on his house. God will still restore your house. And number five, I feel the Holy Ghost in this place tonight. It gives us a power to revive us. To revive us. All these five things is why God gives us revival. All these things happen. The end of this passage of scripture, the end of this passage of scripture tells us it protects and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem. God leaves a remnant. All those things it goes to protection to the house of God. gives us a wall of protection on what's happening on the inside of the house of God because it's not business as usual when God's when God comes down. When a visitation from God comes, I prayed in the prayer room tonight that God would would visit his people tonight. When God visits his people, that means things have to change. Exodus 3 and8 people were in bondage. They were under the rule of Pharaoh for years upon years. They're producing kids and they're producing them in bondage. They're not producing them in freedom. The greatest joy to a parent to have a kid produce the gift of God produce a child. But they didn't produce them in freedom. They produced them in bondage. In verse number Exodus 3 and verse number eight says, "And I have come down to just make you feel good. I've just come down to comfort you a little bit for a little while." Not at all. I've come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians. God doesn't waste his presence. There's a reason that God moves. That's to change us. So, I'm asking everybody in the sound of my voice, why is God moving in your life tonight? Maybe it's to shake us of our priorities. Maybe it's to shake us of how we're living. Maybe it's to reveal to us that we're not truly free. We're living in bondage under a different pharaoh. Maybe that's why. But God never waste his presence. Don't ask for God to move, church, unless we're willing to change. Don't ask for God to move in your family. And then when God begins to s stir something up, you say, "God, what in the world's happening?" I I I thought, "No, that's God. That's God moving. It's God moving." I I'll never forget. I'll never forget. This is one of the days that plagued me for life. I walked in the the the the living room. I could hear my dad praying. And um I heard this prayer, and I'm not quoting, but it was close to this. God, if Nolan backslides, I pray you would make him miserable. >> Jeez, Dad. God, if Nolan backslides and turns this back to you, I pray that nothing in his life would be successful. Good lord. Brother Clay, what kind of prayer is that, Dad? What about the gracious father? But I look back in my life, that's the greatest prayer that a parent could ever pray over their children. Because what does it matter if I gain the whole world but lose my soul? All of that's in vain. It doesn't matter what I do and accomplish in life. The greatest accomplishment is to walk on streets of gold. The greatest accomplishment is to be around the throne of heaven crying, "Holy, that's the greatest accomplishment. Mama and daddy, you may have not raised your kids to be successful business owners and all of that. You can hang your head upon it, but you got you brought them to every Wednesday night Bible study. You brought them to every off-night function. And I want to tell you, the greatest accomplishment your kids could ever have is to be on streets of gold with you. It's the greatest thing. So, Dad, I thank you for that prayer. You may be seated. And in my little list tonight, there's seven ways we can know that God is moving. The first was five reasons why God moves. And this next group of signs are the signs that we can recognize that God is moving. Just know this, revival is not always in a shout. A lot of times we judge a church service off somebody run the aisles or did somebody jump from the chandeliers? Did somebody jump a pew? Well, I've seen sometimes that happen and that stay here in the church and not go outside the four walls of the church. So, I'm not judging a service by if we shout tonight. I'm not I'm thankful. I I I believe in exuberant praise. But what is exuberant praise to God if our homes don't change? What is exuberant praise to God when there's not prayer on a Monday morning before kids go out the door to school and parents go out to work. I know God, give me the backbone of a crowbar, Lord. God, but give me a heart of an ocean tonight, Jesus. Your home needs prayer. >> Your home needs prayer. My dad is about as unathletic as my left pinky toe. I'm not making fun of him. I remember one time I'm gonna get storytelling. I'm not going to end up in Can I get a witness? All right. All right. I'm not the only bad kid here tonight. Ericson is one of them, too. I never forget we went to the gym with a claver and it was it was a Saturday evening after our little leagues uh up at up at the old church and uh the goals were always lowered to like 8 foot. You know, you felt like Shaquille O'Neal, you know, be able to touch the bottom of the backboard. I I remember that was the cool thing. You know, you begin to slap the backboard when you make the layup and then half of us would slap it and the ball would ricochet off the half court. But I remember that the goals were lowered. The goals were lowered. God help me to remember why I I got this story going. But I remembered dad after everything was shut everything was shut down, the lights were off, the scoreboard was off. Dad took that ball. It was the ugliest form I've ever seen. He got it behind his head like this. All right. I did one of them. One foot went backwards. I said, "What in the name of time was that?" And that thing went in. That thing went in. And you should have seen Pastor Carpenter's face when he walked in the door to that basketball allstar in high school, Penny Lee Carpenter. Honey, guess who the three-point champ was today? Baby, you're looking at him. I said, "Dad, that thing was on 8 foot." He said, "Hey, don't tell your mama that. She just needs to know I'm the champ, Sister Hams. I'm the champ, baby. God, why did I tell that story? Here's why I told that story. My dad is unathletic as it comes, but he knew how to pray. >> My dad was unathletic. He didn't He didn't teach me how to shoot layups. He taught me how to pray. And if I have a hope in my life is one day I can get on my knees and get a hold of God. That's the greatest skill you could ever give to your kid. Daddy, when you lift your voice in prayer, mama, when you lift your voice in prayer, that's the greatest thing you can pass down. Not a line of achievements, not a line of business succession. No, no, no. It's a line of prayer that will save their soul. And if you've got a backsliden child tonight, I want to tell you there's hope because they've heard you pray. They've heard you reach the throne of God. They've heard you reach that peg in the holy place. That's the hope. Because one day when your prodal reaches rock bottom, that basketball skill that you taught them ain't going to matter. That ability to to to swing a baseball bat's not going to matter. They're going to remember when mom and dad prayed and got a hold of God. And I want to tell somebody, the hope that your kids have is they know how to pray. >> They know how to pray. >> Sign number one, God's moving. This comes from Isaiah. Isaiah chapter 64. And my mom's not here, so we'll go to the NKJV, New King James Version. Mom was here, we would not be going there, but we're going there tonight. >> Isaiah 64, there are seven se 64, there are seven signs when God moves. Verse number three. Verse number three, it says, "When you did awesome things for which we did not look, you came down, the mountain shook at your presence." Number one sign that God is moving. Number one is God dissolves immovable difficulties. >> That's how we know God. I'm not looking for a shout. I'm looking for God to dissolve the impossible things in my life. That's how I know God is moving. And I I I'm going to speak the word of faith here in a moment because I believe God can move impossible things in your life. I believe tonight that cancer can be healed. Why? Because revival is taking place. I believe your sickness can find a turning point. Why? Because the Bible says that he is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. That's why I believe that God can move impossible things. Verse number two says, as fire br burns brushwood. And what this tells us is sign number two that God is moving as God removes all dead areas in our lives. How do I know God is moving? Well, there's some dead areas in my life called shame, called guilt, called regret, and the fire of the Holy Ghost is going to burn up the dead areas in my life. Or maybe it's some wasteful things. Maybe a good sign of revival in your family as you remove some wasteful things. Sin could cause us to have lose our joy and our comfort and pride and all those things. But the fire of the Holy Ghost will remove all dead areas in our lives. Whether you be a sinner or a saint of God, there's a fire called the Holy Ghost to remove dead areas in your life. If you're a sinner, you could come to an altar and God will remove the guilt, the shame by that peg in the holy place. Put your baggage on. Number three continues with verse number two tonight. Isaiah 64 and2 says, "As the fire burns brushwood, as fire causes water to boil." And sign number three is that God restores our zeal for this house. We need a revival of the zeal of the house of God. This is not just something that I do to not make mom and dad mad. >> This is not something you ought to do so your wife is not mad at you and gives you the worst week you've ever had of your life. But this I do because I love the house of God. I love you people. Why? Because you're God's people. There's got to be a zeal about the house of God that we don't lose. Because if brother Marshall, if there's not a zeal for the house of God, your kids are able to smell phonies. Your kids are able to see copycats and there's not a thing that could copycat the zeal for the house of God. I love God's people. I love his ways. I love his church. God, I pray a revival comes that brings zeal to to your house. >> A love a love for your house. This is my priority. It's got to it's got to be a zeal for his house. Verse number two continues to make your name known to your adversaries. Number four, God brings victory. That's what that's a sign that we know God is moving. that God brings victory. It's able to happen tonight. If you're in bondage this evening, if you're addicted to things of this world, God is able to bring victory. I know when we talk about bondage, we talk a lot about drugs, alcohol, and needles, and all those things. What about victory over negative thoughts? >> What about what about victory over thoughts that are not pleasing unto God? >> Because they happen. That is that is as that that'll put you in bondage just like drugs and alcohol, not being able to see the bright side of things. I pray to God that God brings victory in someone's mind tonight that you are above and not beneath. That you're not always going to be this way. It's not always going to be doom and gloom, but there is there is joy. God's a good father. He doesn't want you to be depressed all the time. There could be victory in your mind. God brings victory. Number five, verse number two. The nations may tremble at your presence. What this means is vision is enlarged. Now, it's not just a me thing. People are going to see victory. People are going to see miracles that are happening in this church. People are going to see the miracle of this building. You know what happened? His vision was enlarged to how great our God is. This is not a prideful thing. This is just vision of what God what God can do. Boundaries are shaken. It's time for self-imposed boundary lines to be removed because we're going to push ourselves when revival comes. You think the school and the daycarees a lot, you just wait till this training center rolls around. My vision's going to be enlarged. You think we got a lot of people, you just wait till them little fake walls above the crown mold and come crashing down. >> You think you have problem with your brothers now, you you just wait. You stick around and wait on the people that come to the house of God because our vision and it's not a pride thing. It's not to see how large we could grow this church, but it's just about what God can do when our vision's enlarged because God's got more. God's got greater. This is not a time, our pastoral team, we're not going to settle down and just enjoy the promised land because the Bible says everywhere that the sole of your foot shall tread upon. That is what I'm going to give to you. And so tonight, there's going to be a turning point. And I'm ready to walk in victory. I'm ready to walk in victory in our jails. I'm ready to walk in victory in our hospitals. I'm ready to walk in victory. I feel it, sister. That's it right there. I'm ready to walk in victory. God has promised us more and more and more and more. Why? Because we're his people. And that's the signs of revival. It's God moving. God's victory is coming. Oh, throw number six for me. Throw number six for me on the screen. This is what happened when God starts to move. Impossible things are made reality. I don't know if you need an impossible thing to be made reality tonight, but God's moving. God's moving. And number seven. Number seven. God keeps moving the longer the longer the longer we wait. And you thinking, "Yeah, you preached a long time. I'm I'm just waiting for God to move. I'm waiting for God to do keep doing something." And I've come to tell you tonight, oh my God, Brother Weer, I've come to tell us tonight, whatever the one of the seven you need, it can happen tonight. Whatever the one and the seven you need, whether it be God moves immovable difficulties or God brings victory back or you just thought you thought your family just come to church here. No, no, no. I'm ready to enlarge the vision of your family. I'm ready to enlarge the vision of what God wants to do. Brother Bradman, I've got such vision for your family that God could do something with your three beautiful daughters. This is not you just moving here, but my vision is enlarged. That impossible things are made reality. Be so kind to stand with me. God is going to do one through seven tonight. >> God is going to do one through seven. >> Whatever you need, I just like you to look at the screen tonight. Which one do you need tonight? Which one do you need tonight? You don't have to say it out loud. I'm just going to ask you in your mind because I I The Holy Ghost is here. The Holy Ghost is here. And God, when he comes down, it's not by accident. It's not by chance. And God doesn't certain most certainly does not waste his time. But one of these things are going to happen tonight because there's a turning point. Turning point here. Turning point here. Be so kind to close your eyes with me. Bow your heads. I'd ask the church to pray like you've been praying the last few months that God would do something here and we get to pray and God starts to move. Come on. Maybe it is. You haven't received the gift of the Holy Ghost yet. I invite you to the altar tonight. Come on. Maybe that's the impossible thing that can be made possible. Why? How do I know that? Because God's not a liar. God promised you the gift of the Holy Ghost. Dear sweet sister, maybe you need victory in your mind tonight. Be a good idea. It just takes one to get the Holy Ghost moving in this house. It just took Elijah lifting his voice and crying out to God. The other night, it took Sister Gloria Franklin stepping out of her pew and lifted her voice and begin to worship. And that got that got the Holy Ghost moving. And so tonight, I'm calling on one person to just ask God to do one of these seven things in your life. Come on. That's it. It just takes one. Come on, church. I ask you to pray tonight. Maybe you've fallen out of a zeal of the house of God. Come on. Maybe you've fallen out of love with his house. This is just a thing where you checked off the box. This is just a thing where you you sc you you you you made yourself feel good, but there's no zeal for his house. But God wants to restore that tonight. God wants to give you a zeal, a love for his house, a love for his word, a love for the truth, a love for the knowledge of who he is. Come on. All the guilt and shame tonight, God can remove all the dead areas in our lives. Come on. All the areas that you visit all the time, all the dead memories, all all the memories that are not good for your mind and good for your spiritual walk, the Holy Ghost can quench those and burn those up tonight. Come on, church. Come on. Let's let's seek the face of God tonight. Come on. There's a turning point for someone here this evening. If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways. Then I will hear from heaven will forgive their sins and heal their lands. That's what happens when we turn to him. Come on, let's seek the face of God right now. Come on. I believe someone's cancer can be healed in Jesus name. I believe someone's issues in their body can be healed in Jesus' name because that's the sign of God moving. Brother Nash, I believe you can be healed in Jesus name tonight. Brother Schlleer, believe you can be healed in Jesus' name tonight. God, come on. Maybe you're a guest in this house. Come on. You find yourself broken. You find yourself addicted. You found yourself beat down and destroyed. This is the place where God wants to lift you up. This is where the place where God wants to take you from flat off your back and place you in his holy place. This is a place God wants to pick you up out of the pit of sin and place you on your feet. Come on. There is no respector of persons in God's house. Whether you've been serving God for 5 minutes or 50 years, God wants to move on you tonight. >> >> God, forgive me. I've just gone through the motions. Oh, God, forgive me for just going through the motions. Father, restore the zeal of your house. God, maybe the sin in my life is because I lost my zeal for your house. God, maybe my maybe my brokenness is because I've lost the zeal for your house. This is not a place where I just show up. But God, this is a place where you show up. And that's why I have to have zeal for your house. Come on. That's it. God's restoring individuals right now. God's restoring individuals right now. Come on. A few more moments right here. A few more moments. Come on. God's going to do a work as individuals tonight. Come on. Your individual needs. Your individual needs. All you got to do is repent. Repent. You don't have to prove it to God. You're not pro on probation with God. Just turn. Make a decision to turn tonight. Make a decision to turn from the things you've been looking at. Make a decision to turn from the gossip that you've been hearing in your ear. All you got to do is turn. Come on. That's it. As individuals, God is moving right now. As individuals, God is moving right now. as individuals. God is moving. Few more moments right here. I've got the Holy Ghost so strong in this room. Come on. God is making impossible things reality in your lives. Come on. Your vision is going to be enlarged when God begins to move. God's going to bring victory. Come on. God's going to be bring victory in your life. Come on. things that seemed as mountains, God's going to begin to shake. Oh, come on. God's moving right now. And this is why God moves right here. These seven things. This is why God moves. Come on, Father. It's time for you to be restored right now. Come on, mother. It's time for you to be restored right now. Come on. God's restoring all across this room tonight. God's healing right now all across this room tonight. Come on. There's not a prerequisite with God. You don't have to serve him for a year to have any of those things. This could be your first time in church. God wants to restore you. Heat. Heat. >> >> Second thing I believe God spoke to me so clearly about in the prayer room today that God's going to restore our families. What's our individual as individuals? We're in check that we're living for God. God's going to bring back our families together because that's how Satan worked. And I I hope I I connected the the dots there in the beginning, but God d Satan dumbed down strong preaching which affected the families and then broken families produced broken kids. I hope us all tonight as individuals, we made vows before God that God would would would restore our zeal for his house that God would do all these things as individuals. And now I want us to turn to our families tonight. If your family is around you tonight, I know this might be chaos. This some of you might think this is pointless, but I want you to find your families tonight. Would you find your families? And I could think of a couple young people. I could think of a couple young people don't have family in this church. And I would ask the family to be the body of Christ. And you would grab hold of these families tonight. I feel it so strong in my spirit, brother Clay, this evening. I feel it so strong in my spirit this evening. That the revival that God is bringing is going to come through our families tonight. God is going to bring revivals that come through our families tonight. Come on. As individuals, we pray. But now, more importantly, I'm going to pray as a family. I'm going to pray as a family tonight. Come on, dads. Could you lift your voice and pray over your family? Come on. Could you restore, God, a love for his house? Oh God, forgive me, God, if I've not been the husband, God, that I need to be to flattery. God, forgive me if I've not been the father to Magdaloria. Oh, if my house hasn't been a house of prayer. Come on. That's it. That's revival. You feel? Come on, dad. Be the leader in prayer right now. Come on. Speak life over your family. If you've got par kids, if you've got parents praying for you right now, come on. There's one in four kids in this country that only have one parent. Come on, parents. Come on, families. Come on. We need commitment to God. >> >> Come on. That's it. That's it. That's revival. This is what revival is. This is what revival is. This will change the world. This will change our communities. This will change the world. Come on families. Come on families. Come on to zeal for his house. Oh God. God help me to show Magnolia how much I love this place like my mom and dad showed me how much I love this house. God, help me to talk, God, about the people of God like my parents talk to me about the people of God. Oh, God. Come on. This is what America needs is strong families. America needs a mom and a dad. A dad that's willing to be masculine, but willing to be a servant leader. A mother that's willing to nurture. Kids that are willing to obey and submit themselves. Come on fathers. Come on, fathers. It's been a while since they that that wife of yours or those kids have heard you speak in that heavenly language. It's what those kids need to hear tonight. If it's been a while, mother, since your kids heard you, lift your voice in prayer. Come on. Some of us might need CPR tonight. Some of us might need a Christ prevailing revival. That Christ prevails through your pride tonight. Come on, that's it. that Christ prevails through our pride tonight. That Christ prevails to the hardness of our hearts tonight. Come on. That's it. Come on. This is really what revival is right here. It's not enough to run the aisles, but if our family makes it to heaven, that's the greatest revival that we could ever have. That's the greatest revival for the Carpenters. If me, Flannry, and Magnolia make it to heaven. I bind right now in Jesus name guilt in the mind of a mother and a father that you aren't the parent that you ought to be. But I've come to prophesy this is a turning point that tonight you're going to be the father that you want to be. You're going to be the mother that your kids desire for you to be. I bind guilt and shame upon the parents of First Apostolic Church. That they have prodal children that do not serve the Lord. I bind Satan from from infiltrating the minds of our parents. That they didn't do a good job. That they didn't instill a fear of the Lord. God, I pray tonight you would release a zeal. God, I pray tonight you would release God comfort into their mind. I bind it. I bind it. I bind it. Come on. I believe Brother Josh that seven is coming to pass right now. God keeps moving. The longer we wait, the longer we wait, God keeps moving. Come on. Just one more time. I ask you to lift your voice. Ask you to lift your voice. Come on. I hear you, Andrew. Hannah, buddy, I hear you tonight. That's the greatest gift that Henden will ever have, Andrew. That's the greatest gift, Andrew, that Henden will ever have. Brother Chris Holden, I see you praying tonight. That's the greatest thing you could ever give Macy and Keson and Ameilia is a praying daddy. I hear you tonight, Sister Sutton. I hear you tonight. The greatest gift that landed and cow could ever have is a praying mom and a praying father. Come on. I hear you, Father. I hear you, mother. I hear you, Sister Glenn Halls. The reason God is doing something in Donnie and Aby's life is cuz they had a praying mama. It's cuz they had a praying mama that knew where the nail in the holy place was. It was on a Wednesday night Bible study. That's where the nail was. It was on a prayer in early morning. That's where the nail was. And now we've prayed as individuals. We prayed as a family. And now we're going to pray as a church. God's got great things for First Apostolic Church. Cuz we've got strong preaching. We have strong preaching. Pastor Carpenter, Pastor Ericson, Pastor Hammond. We've got strong anointed preaching. It's time for the church to shine. It's time for our vision to be enlarged. It's time for God to bring victory. It's time for it to happen because God's moving. Come on. Would you stretch your hands forth and pray for the church tonight that God would open up doors? Come on, individuals. We prayed. We've got strong families now. Prophesy over this church. God, prophesy to the souls. Prophesy to the revival. Prophesy to the harvest. Come on, it's happening. It's happening. It's happening. Come on, that's it. Come on, that's it, singers. Come on, it's happening. The harvest is plenteous. The harvest is white. It's time for the church to go forth. It's time for the church to go forth. Come on, prophesy over the church.
