just thank god for his goodness to us none of us deserve to be here if i had gotten what i deserved i would have been long gone long ago in the devil's hell but i'm glad that grace and mercy came to us found us first timothy chapter three verse 16 and without controversy great is the mystery of godliness god was manifest in the flesh justified in the spirit scene of angels preached unto the gentiles believed on in the world received up into glory quite a synopsis of our great and mighty savior tonight and for just a few moments i just want to bring to you this thoughts and pray god's blessings upon us when god shows up when god shows up lord jesus thank you for the word tonight thank you for your spirit o god thank you for the presence god that you in this house thank you for your people who bought a brought a praise upon their lips god a people brought a shout god of victory in this place tonight and god we need you to show up in this place god we need you to visit with us tonight god we desire for the holy ghost just to dwell among us god as we give our praises to you as we give our thanks to you o god as we exalt you o god we thank you for your goodness and your power and your presence and we give you thanks can someone say in jesus name you may be seated amen the bible here in first timothy declares that without controversy great is the mystery or the hidden truth of godliness let us talk just a moment about how great our god is no doubt we understand how wonderful he is just by the observations of how what we see every day the monuments the great smoky mountains the rivers the canyons the beautiful sunset the starry skies all of the wonderful things that we see declare god's greatness nature by its sheer manifested purpose and creation declares the greatness of god nature is never compelled to say how great god is nature is never asked to declare it is simply by natural creation declaring the greatness of almighty god he is wondrous and he is mighty god is omniscient he knows everything he is omnipotent he has all power there is no beginning nor ending to god before the earth was formed he was here as a matter of fact before anything was he is and after everything is gone he still is he is non-beginning and he is non-ending as a matter of fact the bible talks a little bit about it in psalms 90 verse 2 the writer says before the mountains were brought forth or ever thou hast formed the earth and the world even from everlasting to everlasting thou art god from everlasting before there was an understanding of a beginning and after there will be any understanding of an end god surpasses the beginning and the end he always was he always will be he is he is not was he is not will be he is secret chronicles 2 5 says it this way the writer speaking solomon is building a house and the house which i build is great for great is our god above all gods but who is able to build him a house seeing the heaven of heavens cannot contain him heaven is his throne and the earth is his footstool he is a wondrous and mighty mighty god as he was created in the universe the bible simply said in this writing of his creation the writer said and he formed the stars also quite a sublime little line right there and he formed the stars also didn't talk about how many billions of stars there were they didn't talk about how wondrously formed and fashioned they were it didn't talk about how the moons or the moon rotates the earth and the earth and the planets rotate the sun didn't talk about interstellar interstellar planets didn't talk about the nebulous out there didn't talk about the black holes didn't talk about any of that it just simply said god created the stars also and he moved on he is so great he is so wonderful and so awesome he does not have to tout how great he is creation declares it for him this great and wonderful and mighty god as great as he is as wondrous as he is the full summation of his own knowledge and self-will he is complete within himself he lacks nothing he needs nothing he has no need of anything but him but inside of him he decided to desire and will that he would have fellowship with a common individual made out of dust and clay this god who needs nothing who desires nothing outside of himself desired within himself to create something that would fellowship with him something that would not be like him it would be something that is not eternal for the moment something that would not be complete within itself so god decided i'm going to make a planet and i'm going to make not only a planet but i'm going to create a world where i can breathe my breath into some dirt and dust and create a living soul so the omnipotent almighty omniscient god the ethereal out there somewhere that spirit that moves and wonders who is from everywhere to everywhere god cannot leave point a and go to point b because he's already between both and surpasses both but this very same god decided that i want to dwell among people who are a little lower than the angels god wanted fellowship so in the creation of adam and eve and in the old testament in the book of genesis god stoops slow and grabs the dust of the earth and breathes into man the breath of life and man made of clay and dirt became a living soul so god who needs nothing decides that he wants to be with something other than himself and so this omnipotent invisible spirit god decides to show himself to his creation so in the old testament starting from genesis all the way through god in the old testament who wanted fellowship began to show himself in a way that man could somewhat understand we could not picture a god of eternity we could not understand no beginning and no ending a god that fills all time and space so god began to reveal himself in ways that man could get a grasp and understand because god wanted to fellowship with man so god who fills all space and time decides for a few occasions occasions in the word of god in the old testament to reveal himself to man it might appear as a voice in the cool the evening when adam and eve would walk the voice of god would sidle up beside them and god began to speak to adam and talk to adam and adam had communion and a small understanding of this wonderful god who created this beautiful beautiful garden it might have been the god who showed himself in a burning bush to moses as moses turned aside and looked and saw a bush that was burning but was not consumed and he heard a voice speak out of that bush and said take off your shoes for the place where you're standing is holy ground it might have been god in a brief moment showing himself in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night as the children of israel marched to a promised land small glimpses of an ominous powerful god god just wanted to show himself to his people it might have been in a still small voice to the man of god as the tornado if you will the whirlwind came and the lightning and all that came and suddenly he's just heard a still small voice it might have been the fire that fell down from elijah's sacrifice as it consumed the altar and the sacrifice various ways throughout the old testament god wanted to show himself to his people so god decides in the old testament in various ways to relate to people as best as he could with their limited understanding through theophanies and other ways throughout the word of god in the old testament god would reveal himself even by his names jehovah shalom jehovah sid canoe and he would go on and on el shaddai every time revealing more of his nature and character of himself so man would get a small glimpse of how great god was all because god wanted to fellowship with man has anybody been called lately by the governor of tennessee i know as the governor called and asked anybody to go out and eat with him this week has president called you individually and said hey i got a little time when coming through tennessee i'm gonna stop we're gonna go get some wendy's or some shonies yeah now forget it president i don't like shonies just go on no has anybody had a visitation in your life by a god who cares about you who loves you has god ever showed himself a little bit of his character and nature to you god cares enough about us to visit us and the god of the old testament was aloof if you will he was that god of fire upon the mountain he was that god of of can't touch this the smoke and mountain he was the god of the commandments and god would reveal himself and and try to get close to man but god always seemed to be at a distance to the man that he wanted to be close to so god in his plan before the world was ever framed had a plan in mind it wasn't plan b but it god said you know i'm going to prepare a body that i can get into and i can walk the earth as they walk i can feel the pain that they feel i can know the hurt and frustration fears and agonies that they feel so god decided as the old testament closed to an end and the very last word in the old testament was cursed the word is actually cursed 400 years of silence and then suddenly bursting upon the scene in the new testament john john john the great man that preached one message the message of repentance and if there is one message that will bring jesus to us that is the message of repentance john preached repentance because he knew there was coming a god that had been aloof that had been afar off but there was coming a god that was going to show himself for his people the word manifest the very first scripture that i read tonight has the word manifest in it that word means to appear to show oneself to declare make known to make visible or known what has been hidden or unknown by words deeds or any other way the writer said and without controversy great is the mystery of godliness god was manifest in the flesh what god decided to do was simply this i'm going to show up so people can feel me people can touch me people can hear me people can hurt me they can talk to me i can talk with them i can eat with them i can fellowship with them so god says what i'm going to do is i'm going to manifest myself the invisible god became visible the guy that created all of the glory of the universe became simplified in one's human form called jesus christ the god of the old testament has now settled up to man in the new testament and the writer john 1 and 1 puts it this way in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god and the word verse 14 was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the father full of grace and truth john 1 1 said in the beginning was the word the logos the thoughts of god it was the brain of god it was his will his desire his character in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god but that was not what god wanted to be the finality of it for the writer said and that word became flesh what he did was he manifested himself in the flesh god almighty showed himself with freckle face with curly hair i don't know what he looked like you don't either he might have been five foot two might have been five foot nine and a half he might have had a 28 inch waist might have been strong and muscular probably was a little bit he was a carpenter's son but you know the bible said that there was no beauty in him that we should desire him he was just an ordinary man jesus christ could have walked in this room and we probably would have never been able to pick him out oh i can't believe you say that because he was there was nothing about him that stood out he didn't come here with glowing white skin he didn't come here with eyes of fire he came as a little bitty baby that he might show himself to his people first john 1 and 1 says it this way that which was from the beginning which we have heard which we have seen with our eyes which we have looked upon and our hands have handled of the word of life for the life was manifested and we have seen it and bear witness and show unto you that eternal life which was with the father and was manifested unto us that which we have seen and heard declare unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the father and with his son jesus christ john 1 talked about the word becoming flesh first john 1 1 says we saw him we handled him we touched him we heard him speak we saw him walk on water we saw him raise the dead we saw him hungry and thirsty we saw him cry we saw him laugh we saw him asleep he even snored a couple of times you don't know he might have but the writer said he was the life and the life was manifested the life that was way out in the ethereal world showed up and god showed up into our life as a man who could breathe and bleed and walk and talk and we handled him and we touched him because jesus was the manifestation of the almighty god jesus was the god of the old and new testament in the form what man could see first john 4 9 in this was manifested the love of god toward us because that god sent his only begotten son into the world that we might live through him the manifestation of god the love of god was in the man christ jesus when they looked at christ jesus they were beholding the old testament god that created the heavens and earth when jesus walked on the rocky road it was that road that he created as almighty god when jesus walked on the water it was the it was the waters that he created as almighty god he was the manifestation he was the self-declaration of almighty god that's why the angels were so excited to declare to mary and his name shall be called jesus the first time the old testament name of almighty god in the salvific form was ever pronounced was by the angel to that little virgin girl named mary and his name shall be called jesus that was the manifested name of the almighty saving god of the world and when they said jesus all hell shook all hell trembled because manifested in this earth was an invisible god made visible by the man christ jesus first john 3 5 and you know that he was manifested to take away our sins why did he come to this earth to be ridiculed to be beaten to be slapped to be pierced to be crucified it was that he might take away our sins because god is a spirit he has no blood so god decide knowing that it took blood as a sacrifice came in the form of a man shed his own blood took that blood up to the tabernacle if you will put that blood up on the mercy seat that he might pay our price for sin i'm talking about when god shows up second corinthians 4 6 for god who commanded the light to shine out of darkness hath shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of god in the face of jesus christ that verse right there says that god loved us so much that he commanded light that the god that command light to shine out of darkness has given us the knowledge of god in the face of jesus christ another writer said that jesus is the visible image of the invisible god now i know i'm talking to oneness apostolics and you know this from uh top to bottom left to right but jesus is the visible image of the almighty invisible god he was as i mentioned a couple of weeks ago he was god on display he was the thoughts of god on display he when he walked and he talked and he healed and he set people free that was the heart and mind of almighty god when he raised people from the dead lazarus come forth when he said that it was the voice of god that declared that whenever he was tempted as a man in the wilderness satan looked at him and said if thou be the christ if thou be the son of god turn these stones in the bread if you will worship me and i'll give you all that you can see satan was checking out this visible image of the invisible god satan realized that this man walking is a whole lot more than just five foot two jewish man with tan and brown skin this looks like the almighty god robed in flesh for the bible said had the princes of this world knew what they were doing they would have never crucified the lord of glory because when they crucified him they set him free from the earthly bonds who paid our sin that he might redeem us from our sins i'm just talking about when god shows up so jesus came in the form of a man he walked and he talked he did mighty mighty miracles he saved people he raised people all that he might draw man close to him that he might show a bit of himself to mankind because man came from god god breathed into us the breath of life so we are part of god we came from god though sin talked us out of our relationship with him and because adam and eve's sin we've all got a sinful nature but god was not willing to let us die in our sins god who made us after his own image and after his own likeness said i'll go to where they are i'll be what they cannot be and i will buy them back i will restore them back and i the invisible god will show myself in the face of jesus christ and when jesus walked in the room all hell trembled because he was almighty god walking in flesh why did we rejoice about jesus wasn't he just another prophet wasn't he just another teacher no ma'am no sir he was the manifestation of the invisible god he was the almighty god in human form and what jesus could do god could do and jesus could say lazarus rise he could save peace be still because it was the visible image of the invisible god first peter 1 18 for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers but with the precious blood of christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spots who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you for what who by him do believe in god that raised him up from the dead and gave him glory that your faith and hope might be in god the writer said that christ was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world so before mount everest ever came up before the grand canyon was ever formed before the pacific was ever made there was a lamb that was slain in the mind of god and god said i'm going to create a man that will stumble and fall but i don't have plan b i've got plan a and plan a is there is foreordained before the world a lamb and that lamb will be manifested as a man christ jesus but with the precious blood of christ as of a lamb without blemish who was foreordained and has been manifested in these last times for us you know we live in a wonderful time i'm not talking about economically perhaps for some nor politically for me watch it now but we live in a great time why because this is the day of salvation this is the day that christ has been made manifest that lamb slain i'm glad that i didn't live in the old testament oh it would have been cool it'd be neat to walk with the prophets of old to be there with moses to high five abraham and all that good stuff but we have something better than they ever had and that is the blood of jesus christ that ran down an old rugged cross that land that was slain from the foundation of the world has now manifested himself as a sacrifice for you and me and when we look at that cross and we see that blood come rolling down we've got a better confidence than they had for the bible says that they without us should not be made perfect i thank god that we have a god that shows up i'm glad that we have a god that's not just out there somewhere in the milky way singing and dancing and playing but i'm glad we've got a god that got dirty and said i'm going to walk where you walked i want to be where you are i want to feel what you feel and i want to shed my blood for you that my blood might make you whole let's give the lord a hand clap together if you would hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah i'm talking about when god shows up jesus was god on display said when you see me he was asked about this he said he was asked lord show us the father and it will suffice us jesus said have i been so long with you don't you know that when you have seen me you have seen the father don't you realize when you look in my face you're seeing the visible face of almighty god jesus was god showing up first timothy i reread our opening verse and there's so much more can be said but first timothy 3 16 and without controversy great is the mystery of godliness god was manifest in the flesh justified in the spirit scene of angels preaching to the gentiles believed on in the world received up into glory that last part is where we are today we don't see him walking and talking i can't go down and hear him tell parables i can't go down there and watch him raise the dead people back to life as a man we can't see all of that as a matter of fact the writers the writer talking about the life of christ talked about how wonderful the things that were that christ did all the great things that christ did and the writer said if in this life only we have hope in christ we are of all men most miserable what he is speaking of there of course a hope in the future but he is what he is specifically talking about is that 33 and a half years or that three and a half years of ministry he talked about how jesus raised the dead how he healed the sick how he did all of this and then he says if in this life only why would be why would we be miserable because we missed it he was crucified in this life only he was talking about the resurrection he was talking about you those of us who are post-calvary those of us who look at the life of christ merely as a history lesson would be greatly disappointed if that was the only life we knew him in because like abraham lincoln we have been too late all i could do was read about it so if in that life only we have hope in christ we are of all men most miserable but he goes on to say but christ has risen from the dead do you know why we rejoice in this savior not only because he did the wonderful miracles which were great and awesome that was spectacular that would have been cool to have seen but had he had just died and laid in the grave tough luck for us we might as well go ahead and have picnicking a party because there is no more life left but because jesus would not stay in the grave that manifested christ was full of life what do you do with a man that you can't kill or if you can kill you can't keep them dead i guess you just put them in a tomb put soldier in front of it and see what happens the reason why we rejoice today is because we don't have hope in that life only we have hope in the resurrection of jesus christ 2000 years later we still have the same life-giving hope that they had when he was walking the earth but they only had one man jesus walking around but here we are 2 000 years later and all of us have the hope of the holy ghost and the hope of the holy spirit you don't have to get in line and wait for jesus to touch you you can walk into a church on a wednesday night lift your hands and he can touch you he can touch you he can touch you simultaneously he can heal and save anybody anytime anywhere he is not confined by human flesh he is now spirit and he is now fills all with his spirit and his presence what are you talking about i'm talking about the day of pentecost in an upper room after the resurrection of jesus christ he sends back his spirit the man christ jesus has gone up to prepare a place for us and now what do we do we're sitting in an upper room he's not here anymore jesus is not going to come walking through the room walking through the walls anymore what are we going to do let's see what we're going to do we're going to sit here and wait for the promise of the father the holy ghost is the promise of the father jesus said i am with you but i shall be in you jesus said it is expedient for you that i go away for if i go away i shall come back to you so when jesus ascended on high and they watched him leave they went to jerusalem and they tarried they prayed and they waited in one mind and one accord and that god of the old testament that god that was manifest in flesh decided to reveal himself again yet another time for as they sat in the upper room in acts chapter 2 and when the day of pentecost was fully come there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and they filled all the house where they were sitting all of a sudden they began to feel something they began to see something they began to hear something and as the holy ghost came in in acts chapter 2 they began to speak in tongues and they appeared on their heads cloven tongues like as of fire jesus has now showed himself after his passion he has ascended and now the holy spirit the holy ghost has now taken his place and now jesus no longer walks in sandals no longer do we have to listen to the sandal footfall of the savior walking down the aisle but now we can listen for the sound of the spirit now we can listen to the cloven crackling tongues of fire as the holy ghost begins to manifest himself in our lives so tonight i've said most of that to say this when god shows up when god manifests himself what he is really doing you know when when we pray and we say god i need you to show up god i need you to come by here what we're really saying is god i need you to manifest yourself because somebody over in this section needs god to manifest as a healer somebody in this section needs god to manifest as a taker of depression somebody over here needs god to manifest himself as a taker away of all kinds of issues and problems and marital resolves so whenever we say god i need you whenever we collectively or individually begin to lift our hands begin to praise and magnify god god doesn't just have to show up in a form of a man now god shows up by the power of the holy ghost and he begins to manifest himself in different ways so when somebody stand beside you and they're praying they're magnifying god all of a sudden they begin to shout and dance and they begin to twirl around have a good time i guarantee you god has just manifested himself in their lives when somebody walks down this aisle and pastor or minister lays their hands on them and they're praying and that cancer is gone or that sickness is gone what that is that is the spirit of god manifesting himself to that individual so when we come in this church tonight or when you're sitting home and your baby is sick at two o'clock in the morning and you're kneeling down beside that baby and you're praying and say god i need you got out and i pray for you or you're going down the road and a car suddenly swerves in front of you say jesus i tell you what you're doing you're calling for the manifestation of an almighty god that will show up in a moment and he'll heal he'll save he'll deliver he'll protect because god loves to show up as he manifests himself in all kinds of ways you may need him to manifest himself in a marital situation or in a healing of some kind or maybe depression has weighted you down and you're needing him to manifest himself as a god that will stand up and raise up a standard against the flood however you need him to be he can manifest in this place tonight because he loves to show up he's here tonight on the deadest driest servant not tonight we're not dead and dry but he's here on the deadest driest service you can imagine he's here when nobody is here he said one person comes in and prays he's here when daycare is going on and they're definitely crying and praying for god's help he's here when school's going on and the students are crying and praying for god's help he's here we don't have to beg him to be here we just are asking him to manifest god i want you to manifest in this place tonight god i want you to reveal yourself as a waymaker god i want you to reveal yourself as an encourager i want you to reveal yourself as a healer john 14 21 says he that hath he that hath my commandments and keepeth them he it is that loveth me and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father and i will love him and i will manifest myself to him if you want god to manifest himself to you one of the best ways to do is just start loving them just begin to love them god i love you i am having such a bad day but i love you god my family don't like me the cat bit my leg all kinds of problems going on issues but i want you to know i love you i want your commandments to be in my heart i'm going to keep your commandments and whenever we keep his commandments and we love him and worship him he just has a tendency to manifest himself why because he wants to show himself i know sometimes it seems like god hides himself i know job said would that i could find god i look on my right i can't find him i look before him and behind me i can't find him i look on my left hand where he does work but he hides himself i know there are times when it seems god hides himself and i know there are times we're crying and we're praying and saying my god are you a million miles away i can't find you i can't feel you and sometimes it seems paradoxical that we would serve a god that wants to be with us but yet sometimes stands away from us and i don't have all the answers or understandings about that but one thing i do know is this he said he would never leave us nor forsake us but he would be with us always even to the end of the world so somewhere sometime in the midst of my worship and in the midst of my praise i don't know how i don't know when but he's going to suddenly show up he's going to manifest himself and say i know you thought i forgot you i know you thought i didn't care for you but here i am i'm going to heal i'm going to save i want to forgive i'm going to manifest myself in your life he wants to manifest himself in our lives timothy excuse me the book of titus if i can find it i know it's in here the book of titus chapter 1 paul a servant of god and an apostle of jesus christ according to the faith of god's elect and acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness in hope of eternal life which god that cannot lie promised before the world began well here's another incident or another talking about what god has done before the earth began and hope of eternal life which god that cannot lie one reason why he cannot lie well a couple of reasons is probably more than i know of for sure but one reason is because it's against his character and the other reason why i cannot lie is because his word is creative because whatever he says becomes what he says how do you lie when everything you say becomes what you said that's why he has to be careful he doesn't say idle words he's specific when he talks verse three but hath in due times manifested his word through preaching which is committed unto me well well well manifested his word through preaching the foolishness of preaching one writer said preaching i don't know if i understand exactly all of this but there's something about when pastor gets up and starts preaching the word of god and all of a sudden revelation starts touching our hearts and minds and i began to feel something stirring inside of me and he may just be teaching on the oneness of god and there's something powerful when you teach on the character of god he has a tendency to show up have you ever noticed how many times pastor teaches on the oneness of god the mighty god in christ and all of a sudden the holy ghost begins to move ah that's he just teaches an old bible study right there the mighty god in christ but by the time he gets done the holy ghost is moving because when you teach the character and nature of god he tends to show up so the writer paul said that god loves through preaching behalf in due times and manifested his word through preaching why is preaching so important because there are times i walk in this place and i'm fighting hell and i'm fighting problems and the word of god goes forth and all of a sudden through the word of god god begins to manifest in my life some things i didn't know that i needed god began to show me things i didn't realize i was lacking on and when the man of god begins to preach life begins to flow and god begins to minister that's why when pastors preaching or ministers preaching somebody on the road 26 will begin to weep and cry somebody on row five will walk up and begin to pray at an altar what's happening i'll tell you what it is do the preached word of god god is manifesting himself in every life and every situation one message can affect 500 people differently that's the mighty power of the spoken word of god he can read one verse and it can minister to people differently and i can get something out of it you may not need or even thought of why is it is because through the manifestation of preaching god begins to reveal himself because god likes to show up first corinthians chapter 12 if the musicians would come get ready this evening the spirits and the brides say come tonight first corinthians chapter 12 speaks of the spirit and spiritual gifts first corinthians 12 and 1 now concerning spiritual gifts brethren i would not have you ignorant in a couple other verses and i'll jump to verse four and he begins to continue now there are diversities of gifts but the same spirit and there are differences of administrations but the same lord and there are diversities of operations but it is the same god which worketh all in all but the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit with all and then he goes on to talk about the gifts of the spirit for to one is given by the spirit the word of knowledge to another faith to another gifts of healing to another the working of miracles another prophecy discerning of spirits divers tongues interpretations of tone he's talking in verse excuse me chapter 12 about the gifts of the spirit that operate but he says in this verse 7 but the manifestation of the spirit is given every man to profit with all the gifts of the spirit are not to make somebody look good the gifts of the spirit not to operate just for god just decides to move something oddly or strangely the gift of the spirit are in operation for the manifestation of his presence what do you mean there are times when the gifts of the spirit move and we don't even realize it there are times when pastor is preaching and he is speaking words of word of faith and we may not even understand it there are times that people come up to you all that get prayed and a minister or a saint and it's not ministers only there are saints that operate in the gifts you know the gifts of spirit are not classified for preachers you understand that it's for the body of christ the reason why god allows the gifts of the spirit is so he can manifest himself to the needs of the individual whenever you have compassion you see a brother or sister who's going through problems and struggles and suddenly a word of wisdom comes to you and i just feel like saying this you know what that is that is god manifesting through that gift to reveal himself to that person somebody comes up and they're praying and pastor lays his hand on them and the gift of healing moves what that is that's god manifesting his spirit that he might show healing in their body the gifts of the spirit are that we might manifest the power and presence of almighty god to a hurting and dying world that's why we live in a wonderful time because god loves to show up and show out on behalf of his people would you stand with me tonight he inhabits the praises of his people what's so important about praising god and magnifying god the bible says he inhabits he dwells in the praises of his people he shows up he manifests himself god i don't even know what i need sometimes but when i begin to sing i begin to praise and i begin to magnify god magnify you and the holy ghost begins to move that's why when you begin to pray in the spirit and you don't know what you're talking about that's the spirit praying through you that's the holy ghost ministering to you in ways you don't even understand or ways you don't even know that you need because god loves to manifest and show up first peter 2 9 talks about us showing forth the praises of an almighty god so tonight i just want you to know that god's here what do you want him to do what do you need him to do we don't have to call down fire from heaven i don't have to sing 22 songs at 100 miles an hour it feels good and sometimes it helps sometimes it's easier for me to pray when i got 500 other people praying and shouting dancing but you know what he doesn't need all that he just needs an individual say god manifest manifest yourself i'm going to praise you until you show up i'm going to keep being faithful until you come through i'm not going to throw in the towel i'm not going to back slide i'm not going to quit i'm not going to give up i'm going to keep being faithful and one of these nights if it's not tonight if it's not sunday one of these nights when i walk in this place and i throw my hands up almighty god's gonna show up in a way i didn't expect in a way i didn't know in a way i didn't understand but i'm telling you god loves to show up and he wants to manifest himself in our lives tonight so as you get ready to sing brothers and sisters i don't know what you may need tonight i don't know what you may be longing for but i'm telling you as you begin to lift up the name of the lord lift up holy hands without wrath and doubting as you begin to worship god your own way there is a god that will be willing to show up and show out he's going to manifest himself to you in a special way if you need forgiveness of your sins if you'll repent if you'll confess your sins he'll show up as a forgiving savior if you need to be baptized in jesus name and have your sins washed away he'll show up as a forgiving savior who washes away all of your sins if you need the holy ghost tonight he'll show up with the power of almighty god in the power of the holy ghost as they begin to sing would you lift your hands across this place tonight would someone dare come up to the front and just begin to say god i want to want you to manifest yourself i want you to manifest yourself i got issues i got situations but my god if i will praise you and you'll show up you'll handle it you'll take care of it you'll save you'll deliver you'll forgive you'll heal is there anyone tonight that just wants to say god i want you to show up in this place right now the name of jesus i pray you'll show up you'll manifest yourself in healing you'll manifest yourself and encouragement you'll manifest yourself god on the job you'll manifest yourself in some family situations that there'd be some healing that there'd be some forgiveness kind of let there be some anointing that flows in lives and hearts tonight god we're asking you god to show up manifest yourself oh god this place
