we're going to pray together lord right now we call upon your name for there is no other name but jesus that we can call on once again lord we have gathered in this room we have worshiped we have sung the songs lord we have magnified we have prayed we have given lord god we we have done lord jesus what we believe is fitting lord god in this service but right now lord we hunger for the word we hunger for revelation of the word purpose of the word for our lives one more time lord i make myself available to you i so need you lord right now anoint us god help us lord let our ears and our hearts hear the word today great is your faithfulness i wonder if the church would right now just love the lord with open hearts open minds come on just love him would you the name of jesus i love you lord and i trust you my hope is in you my hope is in you jesus blessed be the name of our god and let everybody say in jesus name amen you may be seated if you feel like you have to thank you so much to our singers musicians to our teaching staff our volunteers sound video audio and all of the cool stuff in between thank you all so much always every week hey man i enjoy a cold glass of water out in the entry on sundays don't you yeah and i like strawberries so i'm thankful for everybody's involvement amen once again i welcome our guests so glad you're here today thankful to see you online thank you for joining us today amen oh what a journey what a journey life is it's a gift life is right yeah it's a gift and all of us have received this gift now for for the the sake of today right now i'm not going to ask for specifics i don't don't want to ask for specifics i i simply want to just ask today this question how did your day begin this morning was it a good morning or did you burn breakfast or run out of coffee creamer or the kids never really went to sleep i don't know maybe your day hasn't begun so well whatever though happened to your day to begin this day it is a stark reminder of the beauty and the blessings of life amen i remember when my children were home there was an occasion to where the kids would come running into mom and dad's room and they would jump in the bed and just kind of take over that one time they did that no i'm joking young ones jumping up and down ready for breakfast teenagers getting ready for church can't find their socks i'm on somebody's mail list i'm reading it right now dad's grumpy waiting on his coffee mom chasing herself around with a list of things to do before she walks out the door to go to church just another day another opportunity to be together in the house of the lord yeah i listen to families as they walk through the door of the church i especially watch them when they pull in the parking lot y'all know it's true don't you we are closing in on march of 2021 wow we can say without a shadow of a doubt time is just flying by the quickness of time the slipping of time through your fingers there's the reality of the events that are pressing us i am declaring even today pressing us into the end of days if you are a re reader of the word of god you will realize that the events are arranging themselves into a path of preparation for the highway to heaven if you are at all a discoverer of the word of god anybody here today still looking for heaven i ask that very often from this podium because i don't want us to forget this world is not our home we're just passing through we're headed to a place called heaven i wish somebody would say i want to go to heaven with every passing day there are opportunities to look around you and to see who those that are backing away from truth or following after lies of the enemy it it makes you wonder choices that are being made that will ultimately drive a wedge between god and that individual because of sin in their lives it's nothing new it's just this is our generation and so we're watching and we're wondering how are things going to pan out my grandparents for an example they warned the kids of the last days they talked about them often yeah you better know what's about to happen my my grandmother i i know i talk about her a lot she has such a great influence in my life and and and some real good not so good influence but my grandmother she would before her dying day josh she would come and she'd point her finger in your face and she'd simply say you better keep seeking you'd better keep seeking now she's from the south so it'd sound a little different you better keep us he can you better keep us seeking and ask my brothers my cousins they'll tell you that was granny saying you better keep a second why because i realize that generation to generation to generation if we are not individually deciding to seek after the face of god then we aren't really understanding the times in which we are living what does it really mean friend to keep seeking after god well this i'm not really sure if i understand it completely but one thing i will say the more that i see the events of the day unfolding the more i realize brother gibson i need to see jesus in the midst of it all i can become so overwhelmed with life and all of the things that happen with it but if i see jesus in the chaos i got a feeling it's going to be all right come on i might be going through darkness and hell and anything else but if i can see jesus i realize it's gonna be uh okay i say you better keep seeking jesus continuously looking for him as we gather today in this sanctuary i'm sad to say there are some who are no longer worshiping with us for whatever reason some have chosen other paths to follow y'all stay with pastor minute blinded confused enlightened lied to whatever it is something has caused them to decide that coming to the church house is not as important as it once was they have made a choice that simply says that they have found another way to serve god stay with me and so i notice that we are faced with a point of making sure of what we believe in and what we say when we talk about what we believe in listen to me it makes us as we see some that are departing from the truth or some that might be running away from it it makes me all the more want to raise my hands in the sanctuary and sing the songs of zion it makes me all the more brother justin to want to say not me i'm staying true to the apostolic doctrine i'm embracing truth and realizing i'm seeking after god in every step that i take there's an old testament verse joshua chapter 24 verse 15 you all know it and if it seems evil unto you to serve the lord capital l choose you this day whom you will serve whether the gods which your father served that were on the other side of the flood or the gods of the amorites in whose land he dwelled but as for me and my house we will serve the lord capitol hill i choose today just like every day to serve the lord god choices that will establish steps that will cause us daily to run after the things of the most high god listen to the preacher for just a moment most all of the decisions that we make in our lives come with consequences from what you eat to where you go to how you get to where you're going to who you're with while you're going where you're going to eat what you're eating all of those daily choices and millions more cause you to come to a place where you're making choices that is developing your life now listen carefully god chose himself to be so strong and faithful in all of the events of life that we pass through i come to this pulpit today to sound an alarm to the church if you will hear it from the church house to anybody in the street that will listen here what i'm saying we as the church body we know that god is all-powerful we as a church body we know that he can be found in all places we understand as a church body that he knows all things from the beginning until the end isaiah he helped us to understand it a little better from the old testament prophet into the new testament the son's going to be born he'll be the wonderful counselor he'll be the mighty god he'll be the everlasting father he'll be the prince of peace we know him to be the creator of all things we understand he has a plan and it is perfectly working in our lives all of the events of any given day can be traced back to the finger of god working in your life but i rise to this podium on this sunday afternoon god help me right now to remind us of something in the book of exodus chapter number 34 verse number 14 for thou shalt worship no other god little g for the lord capital l whose name is jealous capital j is a jealous god now we'll talk about his wonderful counselor the mighty god we'll talk about he's the omnipotent omniscient all-powerful one but when it comes to this phrase i feel like this title this name this comprehension many times we forget that when moses penned the words he was letting god's children know that god himself is jealous his name is jealous i wish somebody turn to your neighbor and say he is jealous tell him his name is jealous that particular word jealous basically means for definition's sake intolerant of unfaithfulness or rivalry when you speak of god you are speaking of the one in whom you can place all of your trust you worship god big g god takes a position of prominence in an exalted place in your life i'm not telling the truth today and the fact of the matter is every day we speak to god and he speaks to us and we develop a relationship with him it is the worship that we give to him listen carefully that identifies who he is to us there's not a new concept there's not a new way if you will the worship that you give will do what it's supposed to do we worship what we serve and we serve what we worship we worship what we serve we serve what we worship as humans we are compelled to bow down to something or someone it is that worship thing we want to worship something now if we understand what jealous means intolerant of unfaithful unfaithfulness or rivalry then if we look at worship simply the definition of worship is this to feel an adoring reverence or regard we worship and we regard something that is worthy of our reverence we build an affinity or an affection towards what we worship here the preacher it is how humans have always dealt with a deity you are great i am not and so i reverence you moses knew how people acted towards things time and again we can see the stories unfold he knew what he was saying when he said that you should worship no other god did he not you cannot show affections in regard to anything but what you have esteemed to be highly exalted and set up on high in your own life allow me a moment to explain please when you come into the house of worship on a sunday or wednesday or any other day you walk into the house of worship with your stuff it comes up under your arm or it comes in a backpack form you can get this accessory in any local place you can probably make your own this was full of goodies one time that y'all gave me and now they're gone anyway let me explain you come into the church house and you gather here with your family and you gather here with your family and friends the loved ones that you draw near you bring your bible and you bring your offering you desire to worship god yes you do but also you bring in with you listen to me carefully say you bring in with you your stuff it might not come in this form but believe me it is stuff and one stuff looks like another stuff that looks like another stuff that could be identified with another stuff suffice it to say we all have a basket of stuff so we come into the church house we bring our past our present and our future we look like everybody else we're waving our hand at them we're shaking their hand and hugging their neck we've come in with a purpose to worship y'all hang on to me for a moment we come into here with our issues our pains and our hurts and our emotions and whatever that we have been drained of for that week we bring it all in together we look the part of a christian we act the part of a christian we know what it takes to look like a christian therefore we come in with the identity of who we are and then we come in with our stuff and when we take a seat we set down our stuff with us and then we do what is required to be a christian the music begins and because the lyrics are on the board you throw your hands in the air and you begin to sing the songs there's tears streaming down your face perhaps you're clapping your hands to the rhythm of the kick drum you're looking over there watching the musicians you're singing the songs looking at your neighbor sometimes every once in a while when it hits you at the right moment you might even jump up and down a little bit and get down just a little bit now what they called it in the old days was shouting on the heels of glory and they didn't care what they looked like they didn't care what it smelled like they'd roll on the ground they shout between the pews under the pews and on top of the pews they hear me i've been raised in this i know what i'm talking about it didn't matter who was preaching it didn't matter what the music sounded like it didn't matter if it was a banjo a base or an accordion when the presence of god began to hit that place there was something that would explode with an exuberance of worship that said i've been waiting all week to get in here and magnify my king and my savior so we understand what it takes to look like a christian keep in mind we're all here with our bible our offering where are he all here with the same things but for whatever reason we have now brought with us our stuff now by and large i'll hear pastor for a moment by and large this would be the stuff that we're dealing with sister stacy this could be past hurts this could be failures this could be financial needs this could be things going on with your children this could be bad decisions and choices that you've made this could be somebody in your family blew a gasket and you don't know what to do with them right now it could be your jobs falling apart it could be anything of the above and so you know that you're about to go into the church house so you bring it with you now you come in looking apart doing everything and you set your stuff down on the seat next to you but what lo and behold begins to happen as you worship and love god you still remember and bring to remembrance the stuff that you brought in so when the preacher says you may be seated if you feel like you need to you'll sit down and look for your bible you'll sit down and look who's around you and then you'll scoot that stuff all up next to you you don't want nobody getting your stuff you don't want nobody knowing your stuff you don't want nobody walking out with your stuff therefore you bring it in and you get all affectionate about your stuff you get all offensive about your stuff but nobody bear not judge me for who i am and what i'm deciding to do nobody better not look at me wrong they don't know the pain and the suffering i've got to i've got them in my bag of stuff but i'm afraid to leave them on an altar therefore i'll come in and i'll look about help help them now and i'll look the part i'll even lift my hands i'll even cry a bit all the while i'm guarding my stuff that god only can deal with i got stuff here in fact at the end of your stuff when church is over you're dismissed shake hands and be friendly you gather up your phone you don't want to leave your phone you gather up your stuff you don't you don't want to leave your stuff you make sure your jacket's on and you walk out the church house with you with your stuff and then with their stuff and you wave one to another god bless you ain't got a good god yes he is bless his holy name hear what i'm saying stay with me something begins to happen why because our stuff the past hurts the defeats the financials the terrible the drug background the whatever background the relationship destruction those are all things that you want god to do something with him but you have developed a new worship style and the pure definition of worship is an affection towards something and there are many sitting here right now under the sound of my voice that you have permitted and you have allowed your stuff to define you and now you're the one that will come to a prayer chain somebody set it out sign up for the prayer chain and you're the one that will say well now you know i like to pray but i got a busy schedule i got stuff to deal with i know i need to be a prayer chain but i can't get there why because i got too much stuff to deal with you know you become so much sunday y'all y'all know i love you right i'm reaching for you you know i love you you'll come to a sunday service and you know it's the right thing to give in the altar to support the building fund to support missionaries you know that it's that you know what it's going to take but instead you begin to make an example of yourself to yourself now god you know my heart and you know lord if i could win the lottery i'd give it to you at least a percentage but god you know the thousand dollars a week that i make him ain't near enough for all the bills that i got and all the stuff that i got to pay for but i brought that prayer request to church just in case and you'll stand there and you'll look a missionary in the eye and you'll walk up to him and you'll shake his hand man i'm so glad you were here today i'm so thankful that you're over there doing the work of god i don't believe i could do it and listen how many times were we missionaries we deputized a couple of times been in hundreds of churches all over the u.s and canada and wherever else they look at you and they say now listen if i come across some money i'm gonna help you and you stand there look but help me not to meddle you'll walk every sunday into that door right out there and come into this church house and you ain't helped with a dime in this building and you wonder why your finances are in such just trouble and distress you bring it every week god bless my finances god you know what bills i got lord you know what i'm gonna have to pay i can't lord you know i know and all the while god's saying will a man rob god how have we robbed you you haven't brought to the storehouse and you don't trust me with it instead you'd rather keep your 100 percent and do something with it than to trust god with it hey friend hear me i know what of what i speak i've watched generations before me walk into the church house and say how much do we owe on this building i don't have 30 000 but what i do have is i've got a little bit that i've been saving or i've got a week of vacation that i've been saving i'm gonna cash it in and bring it into the house of god and do my part to support the things of god hey i know what it was like when my dad came would you do something that is vibrating me to death when my dad came to the family and said they're trying to help the church they need to build the church and men in the church took out a second mortgage on their own homes and brought the cash to the pastor to say we believe in this thing because god laid it on our heart we're going to do what god's telling us to do but instead now we walk in the church with our bible with our worship on and our tie tied right and our stuff in all the while our worship has changed from tim to this you know how i know it anybody know what it's like to have emotional church that's where all the feel good teary stuff is there's not a whole lot of substance meat to it some of y'all right now and i'm in the holy ghost right now some of you right now you're in such financial duress you don't know what to do i'm going to tell you what you need to do if you'll listen to the man of god in your life you need to empty your checking account give it to god and watch god do with it you need to get that out of your stuff and leave it on an altar and you need to say lord i refuse to worry about that any longer i know i got to pay my bill god you're going to give me the right mind to do so but it is not going to drive me and my family into the grave it is not some of you have physical elements and instead of letting god come in and heal you you're lifting it up to the lord week after week and what you have done is your affections have been taken from him and now you're looking at what you've got it has defined you oh i know who i got right here in my leg as a kitchen y'all know how to y'all don't expect me to work and and do no i can't get near work and do stuff lord understand he knows my heart with the challenge of the day i'm reaching for somebody is to take that and decide it's an altar lord i give it to you i don't know what i'm tired of carrying in my bag of stuff i give it up to you lord i want you to have it i want you to deal with it if it's in my hey y'all need to hear the preacher i have heard with my own two ears in this sanctuary itself i have heard some with all the right good intentions that have come into the house of the lord and have issues have health problems knowing that you've got a health situation going on knowing that the doctors have given you a report and now that thing has begun to define you and i have heard with my own ears when somebody come up to some of y'all how you feeling today how's it going today you know from your response what's happening because i've heard it well doctors adjusted my medication i'm doing a little better doctor put me on a new medicine i think it's going to work for me the other one was driving me crazy but i believe the doctors got to figure it out and all the while we used to come to the house of the lord and give it to god but now it's become an affinity and now we can go to church next week and we can share a testimony look what the lord has done what he do he let a doctor find a new medicine y'all need to know pastor loves you and i'm reaching for you but you better understand something god's beating me up for six weeks over this why because i believe that in this time in which we live that there has got to come a place where we decide when we come in looking like an apostolic believing like an apostolic that we bring our stuff and we dump it at the altar and we leave it there and we put our hands up i will not be defined by my sickness by my disease by what i don't have but instead i will bless the lord at all times his praise will continually be in my mouth ah we're gonna build this building over here you know why i know that because god's put it in here and god will not let it fall what i'm asking is there anybody that'll say i go beyond my fear i go beyond it and i give until i can't give anymore i support until i can't anymore stuff is killing you now pastor you know i gotta have okay i take medicine i do i take a whole bunch more vitamins instead and drawn if i miss a day of my vitamins and medicine that means i get another day at the end of the month some of y'all right now i can see this in the spirit i'm looking dead at you i'm looking sm i'm looking right at you in the holy ghost the enemy on your back right now breathing in your ear don't you listen you got to have that medicine you got to have that pill that's the only way you won't get better and yeah i but don't you misread me i believe on a shadow of a doubt there are times when your body gets all out of whack huh some of you out of whack right now um we go through stages in life things happen sicknesses things happen we get that don't we paul talked about him hey when you come can you bring me some of that wine from so forth because it'll help my stomachs he wasn't saying let's get drunk and booze it up he was saying there's a medicinal power in there and i need to be able to clean this out because what i'm eating here about to kill me come on i do that every time i eat a plaza it just gets all in there brother jerry i'm like now god didn't do that to me the devil didn't make me do it i just simply enjoy a big old fat burrito but i know after says come on i know afterwards that toms are on their way that's what i ain't blaming god no the enemy for that but listen to preacher for just a moment if you will decide right now on this sunday afternoon i won't let my pain my suffering my hurts my dreams my sickness or whatever it is define me but still what i'm gonna do i once was lost in sin but jesus took me in i'm now a child of the most high god therefore instead of running to the doctor first i'm gonna run to my knees in prayer first and if god so leads me to go to the doctor second so be it but first of all i choose jesus how can it be that you can get rid of all that stuff instead of it becoming your worship instead of it becoming your affections you can simply say lord when i come to you when i get into your presence instead of every sunday me coming like this looking up at you through my stuff i leave my stuff and now it's you and me and the things of this earth will grow strangely them pastor you don't know what i'm suffering with you're right i don't even want to know but i want to know has your worship changed on the prayer list my dear friend brother shannon's name's up there i hope you're watching now brother shannon my wife and i about once a week when we can we'll run out there and they'll let us in now all y'all can't get in because they won't let you don't you go in there mess with him leave him alone dang kim thank you thank you but i go see that man sister ethan they're sitting in their chairs that's about all they got food we're able to eat good how you feeling well another day not good brother stone but it's okay sitting there brother dan and all of his pain and stuff he's dealing with some reason i'm telling him that i had to pray about telling this story but i feel i have to so michelle and i spend a half an hour whatever i said well guys we're gonna slip out of here so y'all can go back to sleep in your chair whatever but can i pray with you yeah brother sloan please so michelle stands and she grabs sister ethel's hand and i'll grab brother shannon's hand and before i can get a word out brother lorenzo before i can get a prayer out he's praying jesus thank you for another day you've been so good to me when i stood till yesterday and i prayed i listened to his prayer and i pray but i'm listening with a daddy here you may know what that is you do two things and i heard him god you're faithful god you're true god you're good thank you for my pastor here today god anoint him bless his family bless the church oh god i know you've got it in control sister ethel over there praying yes lord you've been so good to us thank you so much for your love and grace in jesus name amen amen thank you brother long for coming by thank you for coming out you feeling okay i'm gonna be all right just give it to the lord come on brother duran help me out please i thought of that prayer this morning when the lord was letting me i said lord these guys have every right to complain believe could gripe and moan and so forth about what they're going through you know we're slowing just not feeling good but i'm just going to love the lord brother danny over there bought him a thermostatic thingy thermometer thingy sits there next to his chair and look out and see what the temperature is i love y'all i'm just talking here but the blinds are closed for a reason he said lord can't go outside we can look over at that thing and see the little thing that shows the sun is shining or the grass is up or whatever and i thought about sister mandy i said lord i know if i was in that condition that i'd be looking for the miraculous and i'd probably be bellyaching the whole time because men don't do well with pain y'all men just do this y'all ladies don't look at them but yesterday i was reminded of this right here because if you bring all your stuff with your bible your offering and everything into the house of the lord and you bring all that stuff and you develop an affinity for your problems you will never have a basket to collect your blessings i'm going to the storehouse today brother jerry what you got in your basket problems worries fresh dreads no we bring a sacrifice of praise into the house of the lord and we offer unto you our sacrifices of thanksgiving i didn't bring all this junk lord i left it at an altar but instead i bring your goodness your mercy your love your grace your blessings in my life therefore i wonder if there's somebody in here that will remember that he's a jealous god he doesn't want your worship to go to anything but him he doesn't want your affections to go to anything but him listen to if you'll support missionaries with your money if you'll support the building fund with your money if you'll support things and you'll believe that god is in control with your time and your talent if you'll do as unto the lord everything that you do then i'm telling somebody today you can bring your pain your hurts your plans your families your job your failures your faults and you can put them on an altar and you can begin to just love the lord stop giving your affections and your worship to the stuff of life but instead offer unto him offer unto him uninhibited praise not determined by your situation but determined by who he is and what he means in your life stop dragging your pain and suffering and sorrow and just instead learn lord god there's no weapon formed against me that can prosper when i come to you in worship and praise i'm gonna believe you for the answer i'm not carrying this by myself but i empty it at the altar and instead i bring to you my sacrifice and i give it to you right now this culture is open right now this altar is open somebody needs to come and have a life change somebody needs to walk up here with the desire to be what god wants you to be tired of all the old stuff tired of all the fears and doubts troubling you but you need to decide lord you're a jealous god and you'll have no other gods before you my deficits are not going to define me oh there is such glory in this room right now there is such anointing in this house right now there is such power and authority in this room right now jesus i don't show you lord my faults don't lift them up but instead i leave them at the altar today come on it's prayer time it's time to pray come on it's time to pray take time to praise your god see what he can do in your situation take down any altars that you have built to support your issues and come back to the altar of god and make it real before him oh come on it's prayer time in the house of the lord some of you should be on your face right now asking god to move and do a miracle some of y'all have backslidden kids come on you need to give them to god some of you got financial issues that you have caused come on you need to give it to god some of you have health problems and you're certain that there's an answer out there i've come to tell you it is all in jesus come on let god be your doctor today he can work on your behalf yes he can oh come on his prayer time you're a jealous god you will not tolerate lord god my affections you will not tolerate god my love and admiration go into something else there is no one that compares to you come on he is intolerant of unfaithfulness or rivalry come on he's good to you he's a merciful god jesus you're a jealous god i honor you i love you i trust you you're a holy god a holy god and i call upon you jesus come on that's right church come on jesus yeah yeah jesus jesus jesus help me lord help me lord help me lord help me jesus is your name worthy is your name spirit of the living god fall fresh in this room right now move lord i pray in this house right now jesus jesus jesus the name of jesus you're a jealous god you won't share your throne jesus i need you i need you i trust you my soul says yes to you jesus jesus jesus come on that's right pray come on let him work in you right now now listen to me carefully please i i realize that part of the job of a pastor that i have to sometimes speak about things and i realize this room today is full of folk that god has done a work in your life without a doubt amen i also realize that by enlarge people men women it doesn't matter you kind of are cautious about speaking to certain things i realize that when i speak of somebody taking medication for something that that you're the one that has suffered and you're the one that has dealt with it and you're the one that has finally come to a place where you can live your life and so to you that's become normal and so who am i to speak to that who am i to say anything about that because i don't know your story when it comes to giving now pastor i feel like i'm doing all that i can okay but let me tell you something the enemy of your soul has no new weapons to bring against you he doesn't have to develop any new weapons he doesn't need them the ones he has works fine fear deception separation can get you in a place where he can make you afraid and he can deceive you he can separate you then he's got you but what i'm telling you is this brother dan when i was a young fella i had sickness stuff happen in my life and most y'all know my story and i was taking all kind of medications per the doctor's prescription i had infections in my body i had to be taken out of school couldn't write lost all control of muscle hair cut out of the question feed myself couldn't do it and for months that's what i dealt with and my mom and dad where that couldn't sleep that's what i did i bounced off the walls coming down the hallway just what it was my dad and my mom prayed prayed prayed pastor would come people would come they'd have prayer meetings in my bedroom and i'd just lay there that's what i remember this i can still see it it was when my dad had that encounter around the tree out in the backyard that i've mentioned y'all several times do you realize there has never been a need to walk around jericho seven times to bring the walls down ever every one time and that was joshua's moment but there was a principle taught there that's why my dad did it he came in and the doctors came in for whatever reason at that next checkup and said for whatever reason something's happened with him and you can now back off from four times a day to your pills do two times a day and my mom came home with me and i walk in the house you know how the doctor would examine me he'd make me walk down the hall all right take off and i said i'd walk and he'd see that on that particular day i thought nothing of it i'm an 11 year old what do i know so i walk down the hall something's changed so i come home mom says to dad dad says no more mom said no more so i didn't take any more medicine i didn't know i'm a young guy what do i know all i know is within just a few weeks time went back to the doctor the doctor said well i was right you know adjusting the medicine really works so if you'll go ahead and he said so we can look at maybe getting him back in school in the you know future and kind of getting worked out like that and come home from there my mom and dad said no this is done and they called a homebound teacher will you come and teach him how to ride again because i'd lost all motor movement so there comes and here we go here we go i went through the process i'm learning i can feed myself haircut fine went back to school didn't realize until years later that when we moved out of that house now i'm a grown man in the closet were those pills still there we're cleaning out i'm like wait a minute that's my name what how many years ago well i'm backed up well here i got a lot of catching up to do listen to me i don't know what happened josh i don't know seth i couldn't tell you that the angel of the lord came into my bedroom and reached over i know this and when i went back to school and i started writing again i started reading again i started hanging out with playing games and doing all that stuff i knew brother gibson that god had done something in my life and it wasn't until i'd gotten out of basic training came home my dad when he was sick and he was dying son i need to tell you something remember when you were sick a tree in the backyard for whatever reason god told me to go and pray around that tree and i walked seven times around that tree and i fell down and said lord he's yours now that's when god came in and healed you why am i sharing that story i'll tell you why because there are seasons we go through that we are trying to believe and we're trying to understand and we can't but if we'll ever get to the point that we will by faith say here's the stuff i put it here i don't even care to take it home i'll get my basket later god it is yours i'm telling you right now in the holy ghost that god can look at your medicine cabinet and he can say i can take care of every one of those that quick why because by his stripes we are healed now pastor you don't realize how deep and and how messed up and how all the okay i don't but i know a god that was in clinic in that doctor's office when he went in there and sat down and the news came out of his mouth god was standing the whole time saying yeah watch now watch now watch this watch this watch this watch this i'm watching the clock deputation church of about 12 people the service my wife and my two kids were in missionary service three young men received the holy ghost pastors blowing a gasket i don't know nothing i'm just there having church i want y'all to come to my house and eat man i'd love to we get over his house he's remodeling it's a disaster you can't hardly get through floors tore up walls tore up tables sit in the middle chairs she brings out food the wife does she sets it down and we start eating fellowship the whole church was there all nine of them we're talking and he said roslone i really really really want to finish the church and i want to grow the church but it's just been a huge struggle finances i you can see what i got you see where i'm at i said bro let me tell you something i will share with you what a pastor just shared with me last week at another church every month he would lay the bills out and they would pay the bills for the church and if they came up short for the bills the secretary was writing it out she'd come and say pastor when any twenty thousand dollars pay the bills how much do we got we've got 18 we don't have enough he'd say to her take the 18 give it to a missionary and she'd come she'd write a check send it to a missionary by the time the bills were due she'd make out the checks for the bills and she come to him and she said hey we got four thousand dollars in the account he's looking at me this pastor and i just told him that he said son go to my bedroom get my checkbook he did he came back he wrote a check 500 some odd dollars in something since he handed it to me i said whoa no he said no no no no he said god woke me this morning before church and said i've got an answer for you tonight that will come into your house when you hear it you respond and watch how i move now you tell me i don't have an answer but i know a god that can take anything that you leave on an altar and if you'll begin to let your affections be known unto him my god will supply it he'll move so hey don't you i know what it is like for the account to be in the red go and pray open the mailbox and look in it and there's money in there i know what that's like i talked to a pastor friend just the other day he said man years ago you know what i kneel down at the altar of the church god i need 200 to pay the light bill for this month and i don't have it but i'm gonna believe you for it god i'm gonna trust you for it he said i'd get up off my knees i'd wipe my face i'd walk to the mailbox open it up and two 100 bills be laying in there i don't know how god does it but one thing i know is this i'm not talking about a prosperity doctrine i'm not talking what i'm telling you is this if you'll ever get your stuff out of the way and simply worship and show your affections to god he will open the windows of heaven that you'll never be able to contain what he's going to do in your life before you go home i want you to go to somebody that you love dearly grab them by the hands and together lift them to heaven and say god we claim victory right now over the sickness over this problem over this situation we claim victory i bind together with them i choose lord together with them come on in the name of jesus you get up next to somebody come on they need your faith right now that's right they need faith right now hey yeah yeah come on bind together with them in the name of jesus in the name of jesus i'm believing you for it i am healed in the name of jesus i am delivered in the name of jesus i have joy in the name of jesus i have peace in the name of jesus i believe in you i trust in you my hope is in you i know god that you've got the answer now with one voice of a worshiper give your worship unto the lord god let your affections be made known unto him i choose to lift you up i choose to lift you up come on there's a healer in this house right now there's a deliverer in this house right now stop hugging all the prayers go give one for somebody else come on reach out to somebody else i'm gonna pray for you i'm gonna believe for you i'm gonna trust for you come up that's right go find somebody else and pray with them god you've got an answer for them you know lord what they need you know god where they are in the name of jesus that's right come on that's right in the name of jesus come on the devil's a liar don't give him any praise give all your worship and praise to the lord god come on lift up your name the name of jesus lift up his name the name of jesus he's a jealous god he will have none other before him we'll be here wednesday night brother gibson teaching again on giving brother duran teaching financial peace his class will continue into next month he's got like 900 lessons he said or something brother gibson then will continue in march the first two wednesday nights on the foundation block of love now i covet your prayers my wife and i will be here this week but not this but next tuesday she and i leave for haiti we're excited to get to go and help in the school the orphanage she gets to preach um well i'm working on her message but anyway um but while i'm gone we'll be out of the country for 15 14 13 days uh brother gibson if y'all need something while i'm gone you can call the church office sister sarah help you if you need something brother gibson will help you if not there's others that can help okay just know that church is gonna move on when the cat's away he's looking for a mice and i'm joking come on be in the house of the lord bring somebody the house to the lord worship the lord amen and i'm gonna ask you while we're gone pray for us we gotta teach and help in the school we're gonna help in uh bible school we're gonna help with orphanages then we're gonna take a few days and try to enjoy our daughter over there but anyway i just wanted you to know we got all the bases covered best we can if you need to get in touch with what you can and pray that all of the studying and all the tests that we have to take that they all come back negative because when we leave we got to test for covert when we come back we got a test for cobra when we go in we got a test so there's a whole lot of testing going on i love y'all greet one another encourage somebody wednesday night we're back in here in the house of the lord god bless you i love you serve the
