now Lord we are so thankful just to know you to have fellowship with you we have sung songs of Zion today we have lifted our voices in prayer and praise we've called Upon Your Name Lord the name above every name we've honored those around us we've honored all those God that are here and not but right now Lord we need you all of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags we we got to have you speak Lord lead us Lord show us the plain path the way Everlasting make straight the Crooked Lord I pray make smooth the rough Lord I pray Jesus we need you we love you and we thank you I will bless your name are you glad you know the name Jesus love him like you want to right now love him like you want to Lord I love you Jesus I bless your name I bless your name oh what a wonderful day wonderful day again I welcome all of you thank you thank you singers musicians thank you to all the staff that's part of what goes on here at CAC to our guest in the house and online we welcome you we're glad you are here amen praise God you can be seated if you feel like you need to wow wow what a what an exciting day exciting time of year huh we all have our traditions we have our moments with families and friends and I I don't know about you but I think it makes the hustle and bu so worth it anybody glad to be around family today if you're not glad to be with your family you can get up and Scoot somewhere else that's fine the fact remains though it it really depends on your perspective your point of view for an example if you had not seen a family member for many years you would probably be more excited about seeing them right as compared to somebody that you see every day you know when when you see somebody that you've not seen for a while and you hug them and man man what you been up to what ah you just look great wow look at you and you know or it's somebody every day hey coffee I ain't looking at nobody y'all know I know don't look at your neighbor look right here you'll be all right there's a lot of things though that happen in this time of year there's a lot of a lot of lights a lot of trees all shiny and bright there's ribbons there's presents there's glitter there's tensil there's reindeer and the Abominable Snowman but the fact Still Remains we all understand and we know the real reason for this time of year would somebody say his name Jesus I would be remiss if I did not once again allow us to revisit this time of celebration at this time of year you can read about it in the gospels but Luke is famous for his word in and the doctor as he pinned the words this is how he said it in Luke 2 verse number 11 for unto you is Born This Day in the city of David say it with me a savior a savior which is Christ the lord a savior born in flesh and blood on planet Earth has anybody ever needed saving right yeah the world was in need of Salvation the sin the separation the issues the problems the Brokenness the the hopelessness and all that was wrapped up in it the world in and of itself could not produce except the plan of God be fulfilled and the fact is very simple all of the story that you can read in the in the gospel El of Jesus Christ and you read how that he came to this earth you have to understand something every bit of that was divinely Associated the way that the details of the plan we can read about Matthew Mark Luke and John we find here there was no room for error and there was no way that the plan of God would be thwarted that is why the plan had to come from God it it could not listen to P Pastor today it could not run before a committee it could not say do you feel like it or not the world was not prepared for some group to get together and decide how we going to make a tree grow or how we going to make something happen but instead I've come to tell you today that a bunch of military leaders or politicians didn't get together and try to figure it out but God himself from the foundation of the world established every detail every step every minute place where things would be happening God himself said I will not leave it up to mankind because they are sinful in their mind and they are jealous and they are greedy but if I put a plan in motion come on somebody you understand the ways of God are right they're right he doesn't fail he doesn't falter he doesn't fall on the ground he doesn't go in the corner and suck his thumb and wonder what to do next but I've come to tell you God himself from the foundation of the world knew every detail of every part of your life always remember that the sights and the sounds of this season of this world God made it listen to me Psalm 72: 1819 says this blessed be the Lord God the god of Israel who only doeth wondrous things blessed be his glorious name forever listen to it and let the whole earth be filled with his glory has anybody here to declare amen and amen let the whole earth be filled with his glory let the whole earth be filled with his glory what an image we see here as the psalmist writes I stand here today simply as a reminder for all of us that the season that we are in God's plan is still working it is not fed it's not falling down it's not not broken it's not going by the wayside but God's plan is still in motion I know that there is no God out in this world that could ever take our God off the Throne of Glory he has no issues there's no problems with his divinity there's no issues with who he is he remains on the throne he's exalted above the heavens he fills every space he knows where you are he's got your name on his mind he knows EX exactly what you're going through whether whatever you're doing today brings honor and glory to him God knows God knows I want to bring to your memory though once again the fact that his everyday workings come with a great reward for you and I if you will follow him if you will choose the way of the saved if you will choose the way of God and understand the word of god listen to Pastor if you will endure to the end the scripture tells us salvation is yours it's more than just standing up today waving a hand shaking a hand and saying I declare it but you've got to endure to the end the plan of God had a beginning yes it did but the plan of God does have an end and if it was his plan in the beginning I come to tell you it's his plan at the end the story of the birth of Jesus brings us once again to the reality of the reason why we are here we are here to worship and love the Lord Jesus Christ and him alone why because he first loved us we will love him notice how it is represented here in the Earth at this glorious moment of his coming uh in Matthew 1 verse 21 declares it like this uh and she shall bring forth a son and shall call his name Jesus listen to preacher for a moment for he shall save his people from their sins he shall save his people from their sins he has come to bring Salvation to all of us he made a way for me to know him he gave me hope on his blessed return it was he uh and he alone uh tell somebody around you he loves you come on tell somebody he cares for you uh he gives you hope uh he has a plan uh he heals your sicknesses uh he heals your diseases uh he makes a way uh He blesses the meek uh he stands beside you uh he will never leave you uh he knows every detail of every situation he does not bow to anything uh he sits upon the throne uh he walks in the fire uh he understands uh and he knows all things uh he knows what is best for you and he knows everything about your life uh he keeps you and he protect prots you uh he is in the small things he was he is and he is to come he can do anything uh he'll sit closer to you than a brother he'll be there in your weaknesses uh he understands where you're at today uh he is everything uh all in all uh he is God he's on the throne uh he's lifted up can I tell somebody today he will save you from your sins Hallelujah that's him that's him he is who we're looking for today I believe that our world yes is in turmoil yes it is but he is still here I believe families are falling apart of the seams I believe that the enemy of your soul is trying to destroy you but he came to save you somebody today needs to leave this place encouraged in the Holy ghost why because we need him now more than ever before if you're praying to another God stop it pray to him if you're following another Doctrine or teaching stop look to him come on you all understand there is only one way to get to heaven it's his way I didn't write it I didn't make it I didn't design it he did and then was so kind to say I'll send that word that I designed that I made and I'll let it live on planet Earth and if you'll know him he came to save his people from their sin on this seasonal day see the Christmas season is different than any other season you know it it's I know that some of you guys sometimes look at Pastor weird when I walk by and say hey man happy birthday and you you look at me and it's not my birthday although the funniest thing is when somebody else hears me say that it's your birthday I didn't know it was your bir it's not my birthday it's not your why did he say it's your birthday he said it's your birthday and there all this confusion mom just falls apart people are like well I didn't know why you say that to me because did I miss it or is it still to come I'm okay listen to me because we want to understand we want to comprehend the the systems of humanity we want to wrap our minds around how things are done so when it come you would most of us July 4th would not put up a Christmas tree and wish everyone a Merry Christmas I say most because some never take their tree down I didn't look at anybody specific I mean I got close to looking at him listen to me I I I realize that the more we follow Jesus the more we recognize the truth of who he is it is not about a tree it's not about a wreath on a door it's not about a gift under the tree it's not about the stuff that you could try to get it is about he came to save us see there's no other way no Humanity no no man no committee nobody could have ever fabricated the exactness and the preciseness of his plan this time of year listen to me carefully please I know there's a whole lot of rushing around and a whole lot of hubub and a and a whole lot of man I got to go buy that for that person or they're going to want this so I'm going to buy what if Jesus went shopping with you how would he do in the mall it's a question brother Rob how would he do I bet he would say the same kind of stuff I say is that their pajamas there with I'm joking I'm joking I mean imagine Jesus standing there going man that ain't at all what sandals are supposed to look like listen to me the fact remains this the Luke 2 story that I I started with tonight or today is reminder to US every year that everything about Jesus is right you do not have to make him better you do not have to justify him qualify him nor sanctify him he's Jesus if you're depending on the feeling and the emotion of the season long about credit card time you're going to be upset you understand long about first to the the year when all the stuff gets put away those blues that begin to overshadow you you will feel that but I I I want to declare to somebody today that Christmas can be just like your birthday anybody here got a birthday some of y'all don't cuz you ain't raised your hand yet El but your neighbor and say you got a birthday come on everybody tell tell me your birthday ready 1 2 3 I she come up with commen proof I know it's mine too listen to me when you celebrate your day of birth what are you really telling people I'm another year older still alive huh that's what you're doing why because you feel like it's something worth celebrating now the older I get the more I look for them see when you're young you're like yeah it's my birthday I can't wait to be 16 I get to drive I can't wait to be 18 I get to whatever I can't wait to be 25 man I get to pay taxes and it's great nobody says that yay look at me I'm in the 38 percentile listen to me but the older you get the more you attend funerals perspective changes this past week I had an opportunity to attend two different funerals and that makes for a week that I don't care for one was 78 one was 406 I think 48 I've been to a funeral before of a three-year-old I've been to funeral before of a 98 year old I've been to funerals the longer I live the more I recognize the reality of how short life is listen to Pastor for a moment but he came to bring us life if you're here today and you're wondering what could be a gift that would literally change my life I simply then give you Jesus amen he he came to save you Pastor I don't need saving well now you need saving twice cuz you just lied about you're not needing saving now I don't know if the punishment's twice as hard but any moment away from him is punishment Brother Don could you come and help me please listen carefully I'm trying to watch my clock we've had a lot of activity today this past week as I again came to the word of the Lord for this Christmas season I'm recognize the fact that he came to save me and that if I would simply love him serve him trust him his love for me would be demonstrated in how that I treat others boy I'm gonna get in trouble you ever give a gift to somebody and them not thank you for it I've used this scenario before boy it just makes you mad don't it huh oh is that all that's my favorite saying at Christmas what this y'all y'all y'all think I'm strange aren't you CU you might not hear people say that I have physically but you can tell in people's response can't you and I'll say it this way if God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and then we look at him and we simply shrug it off are we saying to him he's not enough are we saying then to the master of all things now that's for everybody else that's not for me I don't I don't it don't matter how old you are does doesn't matter how much experience you have it really doesn't matter where you've been how much money is in your account what your life has turned out to be I will tell you this for every single one of us here in this room online wherever you're at there will come a day when you will bow and you will confess that he is Lord that's right he is Lord and if he came to save us why don't we take full advantage of that then why don't we rise in the morning and declare that Lord you came for me today this is the day that he made I'll Rejoice be glad in it my soul will make its boast in the Lord lord it's not from him I don't want it would you stand with me all over this church please he is the answer he is what your heart's been looking for he is on the throne and has a plan for your life yes he does so we're going to pray here in just a moment I don't have pixie dust I don't have any formula to give you to say or nothing that that doesn't interest me but what I do have is him I have him in my life so would you help me for just just a moment would you find somebody around you we're going to pray the name of Jesus over them would you help me with that come on just you can get out of your seat you can walk across the room if you need to he is the answer come on would you find somebody right now come on it's it's a simple gesture Jesus come on pray Lord you are the way the truth and the life Jesus I thank you for the power of the cross that makes the difference in our lives you're holy and wonderful and righteous and I thank you Lord that you came to save me thankful Lord you came to save me thank you Lord you came to save my my church family my family my my friends and my loved one thank you Lord that your name is exalted above everything he alone high and lifted up you are gracious and faithful and kind come on would you would you pray for that person just love them come on God bless them this season honor them Lord you will save us from our sins you can deliver us Lord God from Evil you can help us Lord you have the answers yeah you have the answers Jesus I love you come on somebody call on the name of the Lord Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus glorious savior of my soul come on it was him he loves you he cares for you he does more than ever before you need him he is here for you come on more than ever before he is here for you worthy worthy Jesus come on somebody love him come on love him Lord I love you today your name is the high come on somebody he is here for you stand hey oh he loves you he loves you he has a plan for you stands above the all and the Angels Cry he is Holy creation praise holy you are oh come on he loves you he's here for you that's right he is here for you he knows where you are he yeah holy to the King of Kings holy oh that's right come on he is here for you holy forever come on pray for somebody Lord anoint them today raise them up Jesus strengthen them Lord encourage them today you're the reason we're here Jesus you are the reason we are here Jesus you are Li be lifted High Jesus oh that's right come on would you love the Lord only for it glorify your name I glorify your name holy to the king of You Are Holy you will you'll always be come on somebody reach for him he is the way he is the truth he is the light oh come on somebody's hungry for the Lord today somebody's searching today the somebody's hungry today for the Lord oh that's right come on I love you Jesus he came to save us he came to save us he came to change the world Jesus I love you Jesus I Believe In You Lord I Believe In You Lord I believe you Lord you are gracious oh come on somebody open your mouth and love him he is the answer you're looking for he is the answer you are looking for
