live be alive in us lead us in the plain path we run to you today we love you Jesus somebody say in Jesus name in Jesus name well you can be seated if you feel like you need to or you can join me and stand all day whichever thank you so much brother donon the world that we know continues to spin we see every day unfold with activity and families moving from one place to another people in search of their next good time or their next thrill if you you will as we sit here today we are right in the middle of a world that's conflicted and Disturbed I know I speak of this often but trust is an issue that all of us face lessons that we have learned should have learned a long time ago we have to continue to rehearse them and relationships are shallow and unconnected and fear is rampant in all areas of life teach ERS for an example they're trying to Simply make the best of a not so good situation at home and they're trying to remedy that at school doctors are seeing new issues show themselves in the human body fights off whatever new virus there happens to be we see the media doing a good job confusing folk and trying to understand and there's challenges at every hand all of us struggle struggle with the trust issue I mean did it really happen that way or was it AI never thought I'd say that over the pulpit who's telling us the facts do we really want to know the truth because if we know the truth it may actually damage The False Image that we've built of ourselves or those around us and that's a challenge challenge somebody say challenge that's a really challenging word now it is Sunday and it is 102 in the afternoon Eastern Standard Time and I have come today to stand behind this desk to declare this I am not discouraged in the fight I am not tired of the battlefield huh I do not think for one moment that the war is almost over in fact I am now more certain as ever before that we are living right smack in the middle of God's plan that he established from the very beginning I am now more convinced that people are certainly doing what people do listen to me carefully today they try to figure out the easiest path to take and then they go that way yes that's right I've also discovered that the easy way is not the best way many times the struggle is real but the struggle is necessary yes yes it's like a baby if you will in the womb all of the lifegiving things needed are provided by the mother the joys of that mother feeling the baby kick and all the things that happen and all the stuff that's going on in that womb there will come a time when that baby that infant will say I don't want to be here any longer listen to me carefully that infant will say all of the stuff that I could get I have gotten and now I need to get out of this place there's not enough room somebody keeps messing me up and if they'd ever get off the Mexican food I'd be better off if we're crying out loud leave the pickles and M&M's alone so that baby that infant that child pushes and moves and the body of that woman begins to release chemicals and things happen and it is an Ever fighting battle and challenge for that child to Simply arrive in the world now I have had the opportunity of being at two baby births I will declare to you the Hollywood version is not at all right H am I right y y'all with me can you see the image my wife 12 hours with our son and every one of them was an hour long come on somebody come on I had the camera set up I was ready I was going to be the good dad watch me show everybody this video I don't know what I was thinking oh oh I just messed that was a video camera they're like this big you know you that little guy decided enough was enough it was time to come out and guess what happened to my camera got no video except the ceiling listen to me listen to me I knew that I was ready for something I just didn't know what I was ready for but that baby Stephen decided at that time it is time it is way time way Yonder time as US country folks say it and as soon as he was born life happened for him and life changed for us listen to me stay with me today for just a little bit The Challenge of the birthing process activities that we went through on that particular day what that baby discovers once they finally get into the world once they're they're born and they breathe and all the stuff and they get smacked and all the things happen the truth now begins in that infant they must fight to stay alive they got to fight to stay alive anybody here ever had a sick baby yeah ain't that fun not a bit you know what you got to tell them fight come on Breathe In Breathe Out struggle with it get up get down come on anybody remember what the NICU was like there's some hands over here waving it was fun wasn't it not a bit but you know what every time you look what you were declaring in that infant was fight for it fight for it it's to struggle but it's going to be worth it the truth of the matter is simply this there are things that happen in a baby's birth and I'm just using this as a simple example today once that plan begins to take motion and air and oxygen and all the things begin to happen in that child that child then begins to say I'm not sure why I wanted out of that place but now that I'm in this place I've got to learn how to survive in this environment come on I'm glad today that I don't live on the Savannah in Africa somewhere come on I'm glad I don't I didn't have to hit the dirt and get up running because because a lion was soon to show up on the I'm talking about today come on everybody you need to do your homework on the animals in the Safari why because when they're born they're not born they're born boom get up got to move why because you're the slowest I want to get eaten with you come on Mom and Dad you know what I'm talking about come on baby uhuh come on will you either live or die or can I say it in the country term that tennesseans might understand root hog or die learn to live and get up and move y'all stay with me for a little bit I'm telling you today it's a struggle just to be born into this world and then once you're born you need all kinds of help help that you don't even know you need I didn't know that I needed help till a baby came and then I'm like help somebody my wife read all the books now necessary but I said baby what we do I don't know it wasn't in there well then who wrote the book I don't know it was a guy what does he know everybody then begin to say well you know when I had a baby this is what happened and and you all no it's just the way it is come on you new parents you know what I'm talking about everybody got their opinion on stuff because their birthing of their child was a little bit different than your child and yet it's all in I sometimes I wonder what is actually talked about when Mom's good together in the bathroom I don't know I don't know if I want to know but here is the fact when you are born into this world you arrive here with your own set of issues yes yes amen that's right with your own set of circumstances you are uniquely made God put you in the position where he put you with all of your things and stuff for a purpose come on you need to know there ain't no accidents with God it don't just fall in now come on sin can enter the scene you better believe it life can be de that's right it can get hard sometimes bad choices of other people will affect you but I come to tell somebody God put in you what you needed when you were born hold on to me little you got to learn how to fight the good fight of Faith come on you got to learn as you grow to press towards searching for something that is bigger and better than you I've come to declare to somebody every day is a new day I say it often you never got this day before you don't know what's loaded up in it you might as well take advantage of the one who put this day into motion a new set of limits a new set of boundaries to discover almost like Lessons Learned for us as humans sometimes are on short term has anybody ever learned a lesson and that was all no we've all had to reface man I thought I was over this man I I thought I was past this I I thought I was bigger than this and for some reason I had jealousy under check but now I'm jealous of this one for some reason I had anger under check but for some reason and I thought I had this done and that but I'm back now and I I am facing the same monstrum looking at this same discouragement and I I thought Joy was going to be on my side today but for some reason I'm unhappy and all the stuff that you learn in your daily walk you've got to understand that you have to make a termination uh regardless of what comes your way for the day uh it is the God of all creation uh that birth life into you uh and you've got to learn and understand uh that as a person as a human being uh that you are going to have to learn how to struggle now as I draw nearer to the end instead of the beginning I don't mind saying that there are times in life that I I even wax Melancholy anybody ever wax Melancholy that's an old word somebody's looking it up right now you don't even know what it means you come on you're longing for the old but you desire the new there are times that I sit over my fresh cup of coffee and I'm I remember when things were different than they are now come on what hey man you're a young guy what do you know come on you know I I have to realize that the older I get the UN the more unknown stuff I don't know and then I have to realize I don't care come on Tim don't let go of me now I saw you get up earlier huh struggle is real ain't it struggle's real ain't it I come to tell somebody that there are times in life that you look back and you wonder why did I go through that why did I persevere that there are times when The Melancholy turns and then you have to shake yourself and recognize the reality is this that was yesterday this is today yes amen come on anybody remember the word nostalgia Nostalgia that's like when you come on I know some of y'all out here holding on to big old wide ties aren't you that's Nostalgia some of y'all still got vinyl in your house and come is in a record shape cuz you know one day it's coming back oh you even know there records come all the kids are like you're like that right there that's classy there come on anybody know what I'm saying I've got records at home M you got any records at home I got wrecked anybody else got vinyl at home what are you gonna do with it Dakota my man you ain't old enough to have vinyl you got high hopes don't you Nostalgia sets in and you begin to recollect and remember things that you come through you you begin to talk and and and reminisce about the old pths and the way that things used to be and they're familiar to you and and you like the way that that things used to and now you're learning a new way and it's somehow some way got to be embraced because it's life and listen there is an option that you don't have to live life but there ain't one of us in here running to it you know what I'm saying stay with me for a moment all of God's plan for your life is saying to you simply this keep praying somebody let me say it like this keep the faith keep believing in God's word hold on to the good news of Jesus Christ why because here Pastor today every day is a choice that you have to make you're going to serve the Lord or you're going to walk away from him you're going to trust him or you're not going to trust him listen you don't establish your position right now in the rest of Eternity it take no I've come to tell you there are side roads and there are distractions and there are detours and sometimes you don't know what's going to come your way but if you learn to hold on to the Master's Hand uh then I've come to tell somebody every day you're going to have to make a choice uh choose you this day who you're going to serve why because cuz tomorrow I got to get out of bed Sister Sarah and I got to decide again I'm going to serve him and then the next day I got to get out the bed one more time and say I still going to serve you Lord H why because in the good times of bad times the ups and the Downs every day is a choice that I have to make this morning ooo this very morning can I I'm going to paint somebody a picture I need you to stay with me for a bit this very moment this morning I was sitting in my office at home at my desk I've got a window over here to the right looks out over the aison skyline which is trees y'all thought it was like big skyscraping no it's trees and I looked out and while I was looking out it was dark so guess what I saw dark all right it was a whole lot of dark there that makes somebody feel better and I was looking out and I boy it is dark out there it ought to be it's 6 something in the morning it ought to be Daylight by now it wasn't it was dark and I'm sitting there reading and I'm typing and I'm trying to follow what the Lord's telling me and I no time later I look out the window and I begin to see a glow in the sky uh well it's happening one more time now listen to me listen to me it wasn't a bright light but it was a light and it was just there and I noticed that the the darkness was no longer prevalent there but instead there was a glowing light now allow me a moment this past week my lovely bride and I had opportunity to spend a week camping on the beach it was it was pretty neat we enjoyed it good weather no hurricane where we were that we know of she and I decided vacation's a good time to watch the sunset so that's an easy one Horton that's you just go out there and the sun's about to go down it's 6:30 7 in the evening and then that it yep that's it what it 15 seconds from the time it starts to the time it's over Mak real short spot any may remember gone well then we get a bright idea on vacation to decide to go and watch the sun rise on said place it's a jet out anybody ever seen the sun set yeah that was easy the sunrise anybody got a little lot lot L hands that's like way early that's like alarm clock early come on who wants to set an alarm on vacation you want the challenge come on here I'm gonna help somebody today you want the challenge on vacation to say what time is it now it drives my wife crazy she needs to know how much more time she has to sleep I don't it's like I don't know baby it's the same as it was five hours ago as far as I'm concerned listen to me she decides so hey baby we need to go watch the sunrise I set said alarm loud the alarm goes off but she go I said come on husband wife you know I'm talking about those morning work come here prer and wa you get older be right behind you come on all you old married couples you know what it's like don't flush all will when I'm done you know you know that's where you're headed some of y'all are laughing cuz boy this get so close to home so we set the alarm brother George we get up we took off walking down towards the beach it's probably a good seven eight hour minute walk I don't know we got down there we thought wow it's already daylight my wife wife even says baby it's already daylight that we I looked it up online cuz Google's so cool sunrise in the morning 6451 N I said that's the goal she said okay we can do it so at 6 whatever we're up and we're walking down the road and I'm like and I'm trying not to stumble and fall and got all these other campers out here so we're trying not to look like idiots and we're trying to be quiet shy don't slam the door I'm not slamming the door Daylight's already there Don we are it's out it's there so we made our way onto the sand and I walk out to the edge of the water and the waves are coming in I'm explain y'all know how Pastor my brain gets all freaked out and we go do things because it's so cool and this is what I saw I saw the glow of the Sun but I did not yet see the sword and I'm standing there and I'm looking in this dimly lick sky and what we were wanting to see was the sunrise but the light was already there after a few minutes of standing and waiting it finally happened as sure as I am standing at this Podium right now is as sure as I am that the sun presented itself on the Eastern Horizon rising over the water the sun came up I stood there with my phone out because you got to take a picture of it something you can delete later right and I looked at that even this morning as I looked out my office window as I saw that dim light began to illuminate the darkness and push back the darkness of night I began to realize and recognize this morning as I did the other morning standing on that beach is that sometimes you see The Remnant sometimes you see the effects of the source of light but what what that dim morning brings to you is simply hope I don't see the sun yet but there's a light and as long as that light starts hope settles in how long you got to wait I don't know but I know it's coming I don't see it yet but I'm looking at the effects of it right there see some of us are looking for Jesus to be the light in our Darkness aren't we and we're hoping that full face he'll come up and he'll shine himself on us and what we fail to recognize is the fact that before he shows up he begins to fill the air hope begins I want to help somebody today with a little bit of Hope Romans chapter 15 verse one we then that are strong ought to Bear the infirmities of the weak not to please ourselves let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification for even Christ pleased not himself but as it is written the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me for whatsoever things were written a four time were written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope I go through my challenges I go through my trials I go through my tests and the things that I face daily so that I will remember to hold on to my hope because what I can tell somebody sitting in this room right now is healing does happen yes amen Deliverance does come hope is an answer you might not be looking full face right now into the face of Jesus but I've come to declare to somebody today when you walked into this room there was a glow and a Mist if you will of the spirit of God by anticipation of what was to come I've come to declare when you walk in the house of the Lord if you'll look to your left to your right right up and down you will notice that there is something that happens in the congregation of the Lord uh and when you gather here and you bring that Holy Ghost Power with you uh something begins to illuminate the distance around you uh and as you begin to gather with the one next to you and you begin to gather with the one next to you something begins to happen in the congregation of the Lord and it might not be the answer you're looking for but it can be hope that the answer will come it can be simple hope that says if I can just get to the house of the Lord today things will be different I don't know if I'll get my Deliverance today uh but if I get in the presence of the glow of where the power and the presence of God is uh there is an opportunity uh that I could come full face to him uh and as The Healing Begins to happen in my mind and my body My Hope begins to release itself into the power and the presence of a holy God that's got the answer for he might not come in at a moment and deliver me but I know there's hope if I can simply See the Light Of Hope in my presence I've come to declare to somebody today uh if you get in the presence of the Lord God that glow will begin to draw you uh and as you stand uh looking at him uh he will appear uh and you will know there's the source of the light in my life yes hallelujah hallelujah as you decide listen it's a daily choice you got to get up tomorrow with the choice don't short Change yourself and ask for God to make everything smooth for life right I've learned some of the greatest lessons in my life through the challenges of making choices my all of my choices were right not all of yours were either but if you can simply get in the glow of the presence of God and you begin to lift him up he will draw what if I can't get to him the beauty of the sunrise as he comes to us I stood there Sam on the beach the other day and I now y'all I know sometimes y'all think I'm old than I am and sometimes I get set in my ways because I do I know y'all think that CU it's true I don't know if that made sense but anyway for the last several years I have changed the way that I pray with people one of the if you've heard me pray with you probably I have used some semblance of this Lord the sun came up today therefore your plan is still working I don't need to know anything else but if that sun breaks the Horizon his plan works it ain't my plan it's not your plan it's not your problem Maker's plan it's not your Health's plan it's not your needs plan it's his and if that sun will break the Horizon and begin to go I know God you did that everything else now is in order because you wouldn't start the plan and chop it in half you need to know something every struggle you make when you get out of bed every morning God is still God and he's standing there saying will you choose me he is such a gracious God that he will allow you to make that decision Pastor what if I make the wrong one make it are you telling me to sin no I'm telling you to make a decision so many in life are paralyzed they're not moving forward backward sideways you're just simply like I'm afraid that I'll hurt I'm afraid that I'll fall I'm afraid that I'll and you're standing there and all you're doing anybody watching Lord help me stay on track it's 128 we okay everybody watching this little guy over here walk thank y'all for sharing that with us I mean he's everywhere it happened to you with your kids I remember when your kids started walking it was all man that's quite the show and the parents are so mean uh yeah disregard that little guy anybody notice it huh come here come here I'm like what are you doing to that kid kibi am I lying get the over there come on come on like y'all are tormenting the kid he don't know how to do that yet he's all flopping around and he's got Crocs on and it's even worse I can't walk in Crocs Logan can you how they expect this little guy I like y'all are mean they're all and all of us are out here watching this little guy and we're realizing that he is about to fall and I'm glad because when he falls brother Jeff he might cry he may hurt himself Mom and Dad will get upset and blame one another and go home and fuss about it not reading mail today listen to me but sooner or later guess what he'll learn how to walk I I I have one of D now in my life that little girl is the sweetest thing as far as I'm concerned I I tell everybody she's the third prettiest girl I know it's number one and there's two and then y'all better be glad you're having a boy I don't know what I'd do she's walking now Josh is walking I mean 100 miles an hour I'm I get so distracted sorry the other day we FaceTime with her guess what she did you'll love this I'm G to share this here she jumps off the couch and Steven's on her with the phone as she runs to the vacuum and she Pats the vacuum and says look it's the vacuum cleaner and she's patting it going like that is roaming so much he did that for years the beum and I looked at her I said what is it with vacuums I mean they can't even but that was her word back back back back I'm stand there say come on can we say po poppy poy can we say the important things money snack snack okay listen to me carefully I'm headed some somewhere with this the spirit of the Lord is here in this place for a reason today because your source of power is Jesus and it might be today that you are so full of all junk garbage and things and tests and trials and things of life that you don't know that he's actually right in front of you and what you've done is you have instead of looking for him in the glow in the atmosphere of where God is you've put down your head and you walked away if you would simply stop in your tracks and raise your eyes and look you will find the source coming over the horizon hope is here Mark 6 tells us this 53-56 and when they had passed over they came into the land of the garet and Drew to the shore and when they were come out of the ship straightway they knew him ran through the whole region round about began to carry about listen in beds those that were sick were they heard he was and withs soever he Ed entered into Villages Cities Country they laid the sick in the streets and besought him that he might touch if it were but the border of His Garment as many as touched him were made whole all they had to do was discover he was there and as they reached out they were made whole because they figured out where he was they heard he was there that's the glow and then as they reached to him the healing and the miraculous happened today I come to you with a simple reminder Mark 13 said it like this verse 5-8 and Jesus answering them began to say take heed lest any man deceive you brother dwn would you come for many shall come in my name saying I am Christ listen shall deceive many we shall hear of wars and rumors of wars be not troubled for such things must needs be listen but the end shall not be yet for nation shall rise against Nation Kingdom against Kingdom there shall be earthquakes in the diverse places and there shall be famines troubles these are the beginnings Sorrows Pastor why would you start a service a message with hope and then end with Sorrows I can tell you why because what I am looking for is a lot bigger than Sorrows it's hope and all the things that are going to happen and are still to happen because prophecy will not fall to the ground whatever those Wars rumors of wars earthquakes and all the diseases and all the things that are going to happen in our world they are going to happen and that simply will be the beginning of Sorrows if that's the case he even said but that's not yet the end so I've come to tell somebody when you climb out of bed in the morning you make up your mind this is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it I will look to you why because in the middle of what all is going on I'm going to have to choose if I listen to Pastor if I'm going to let the circumstances of life and my culture dictate whether I make heaven or hell I'm wrong what I've got to decide is Lord if you slay me I'm GNA trust you if I walk away tomorrow Lord I'm still going to believe that you're able to save me I'm still going to believe that a backslider as a way to get home I'm still going to believe the altars of repentance is the correct place that I need to be I'm still going to believe that baptism in the name of Jesus is still the biblical form of Salvation I'm going to believe that the speaking in tongues as the spirit gives utterance is going to be the working and the confirmation of the spirit in me I won't change that I can't alter that I didn't write that but he did therefore I've come to declare to somebody it might simply look like the glow the Lord is there and you're wondering where is he where is he I've come to tell you open your eyes look for him the source is going to show himself and in the midst of the confusion and the questions and the doubt and all the things about to go on all the things going on don't let your heart be troubled in that but look to Jesus he is the author come on somebody he is the finisher he's the one who put it down he's the one that will finish it up I'm looking to him because he's the one who gave me the faith to believe in him oh there's hope today in this house there is hope today in this room uh somebody's struggling with sin and your background and all the junk you've been going through I come to tell you there is hope in this room and you're going to find it in Jesus Christ you're not going to find it in a drug or in a bottle or in an attitude or in an action or an activity but if you'll simply say I know I can fail I do it all the time I know I can falter I've done it many times but if I can simply get to the man if I can simply get to the man Christ Jesus and I can reach out and grab a hold of His Garment uh all I need to do is touch him uh all I need to do is get to the source and when I do my life can be whole again stand with me all over this place hope is what we need hope is what we need as sure as the sun comes up in the morning hope says I'm here for you I'm here for you I'm here for you some of you right now listen to Pastor carefully before I open this altar some of you right now in this room guilt and shame are plaguing you simply plaguing you because you have messed up a billion and eight times and in your heart and in your mind you are certain that you'll mess up a a billion and eight more and the enemy's lied to you telling you that there's no sense for you to keep doing that why do you keep coming to church why don't you just stay out and stay home or go there or go there and your choices are being affected by what you think instead listen to me of what you know all right I know in him I live and I know that there's not a big enough sin brother donon that can keep me from him there's no principality nor power that can separate me from his love there's no height there's no death that can keep me from him what I've come to declare to somebody today is your hope is in him and him alone and if you will make up within your mind Lord I choose you today I'm not going to run to my mess ups and my problems what I'll do Lord is today I'm gonna pray through it and I'm going to lay my head on a pillow tonight Lord and I'm going to pray through it and I'm going to say Lord tomorrow if you give me another day I'm going to choose you what if you sin what if you make mess up no surprises with Jesus he just wants to know will you trust his blood he just wants to know will you trust his blood will you trust his blood to forgive you will you trust his blood to wash you will you trust his blood to make you whole Jesus from the beginning of this service Lord we have felt your power and your glory in this room we are Lord God a Congregation of Believers that trust that he answers you and even in that confirmation Lord we struggle we fight we move we're challenged we're pushed but Lord we will not give up we are looking for the source because our hope is in that you Jesus right now Lord under the sound of my voice there are broken hearts and broken lives there are those Lord that have been baptized in the name of Jesus they have been filled with the Holy Ghost but they have made wrong choices and they have ended up Lord with shame and guilt plaguing them I plead the blood of Jesus over them right now and I rebuke that Spirit of doubt and fear Jesus they can be cleansed and washed again today by loving you and repenting and coming back to you I'm praying Lord God there are some today online that are watching Lord and they're struggling with hope I pray even now in whatever room they're in that you would begin to speak to them whatever place they are that an angel would be dispatched to go to them Lord you can do great things God even inside or outside of this house in the name of Jesus church I'm following the Lord here this is what we're going to do as a body we're going to repent pray with me Lord I need you I I need you I I make choices every day and sometimes they're good and sometimes not so much sometimes I fail and sometimes I fall and sometimes I hurt sometimes Lord I do and say things I shouldn't sometimes Lord I'm I'm I'm forced into a corner and I just make rash decisions Lord but today I'm asking for forgiveness and I'm repenting I'm turning around Lord from those ways and I'm going to begin to walk after you Jesus I believe in the power of repentance Lord of turning I'm knowing god I am believing Lord that you are faithful and just to forgive those God that will ask it I'm believing Lord that Grace will work today in this house and mercy will be shown the name of come on somebody repent right now Lord I'm sorry I'm sorry Lord I need you and I'm trusting you right now God my hand Lord is lifted to you wash me Lord cleanse me Lord renew me right now in the Holy Ghost come on if you've been baptized in the name of Jesus you begin to thank him for the blood you to plead his blood over your life One More Time come on somebody plead the blood of Jesus Lord I pray you would cover me once again I pray Lord you would allow me to be in my right mind Jesus oh come on somebody believe it right now come on Lord I'm sorry for my sin but I'm asking you Lord God that you would renew me in the spirit today God sweep over my soul and my heart and my life Lord I pray in the name of Jesus I'm going to trust the blood of Jesus come on now if you've been filled with the Holy Ghost you need to begin to run after him right now Lord I see you I see you Lord uh you are high and lifted up uh you are wonderful God uh you are glorious come on somebody quit looking at your problems and your issues and begin to call on the name of the Lord H he is your hope for today he is your hope for right now oh Jesus this altar is open somebody want to come pray come pray with us somebody want to come and repent come on pray with us we're going to believe the Lord with you today oh come on find your place in the Lord God he is the source in him is the source come on somebody this is the place of prayer this is the House of Miracles this is the place where things happen that will change your life I Love You Lord and I Believe come on I believe there's more that need to pray today I believe there's others that need to Bow their that's okay love the lord it's okay listen to me you do not have to render evil for evil you can say you know God your grace is enough and I'm a mess but I love you I know I've failed and I've stumbled and I've I've done so much Lord that was so wrong I didn't even know it but Lord today I'm just going to love you and everybody's going to look at me strange that's okay I'll be the one with someone else to believe Lord for great things for them Jesus you are the answer you are hope for this lost confused generation you are hope and we will run to that Lord hold on to that and
