would you pray with me Church Lord today we we come to love you we come to bless you we come to worship and magnify you today Lord in this place we have sung the songs about you Lord we have prayed we have called upon your name we have brought our needs to you we have claimed Victory Lord we have rejoiced right now Lord we need word we need word God that's forever said oh Lord let it speak to us today and lead us I make myself available to you again Lord God one more time Lord take calls from the altar touch lips of clay today Lord the anointing of the Lord move in this house right now let it destroy let it break every yoke your God that would have someone Bound in the name of Jesus we claim it today God victory in the name of the Lord victory in the name of the Lord would you lift your voice One More Time come on before you sit down would you magnify the name the name above every name Jesus no place I'd rather be but in your presence Lord Hallelujah somebody say in Jesus name so thankful for the word of the Lord and the power of the word and the power of worship thank you singers musicians thank your teachers workers thank you for all that are involved at Cornerstone every every week for your input for your prayer for your sacrifice and giving I mean he knows it's worth it it's worth it the old-timers used to sing some beautiful happy day gonna be worth it all the Lord is moving God is doing church is still Victorious come on the church is still Victorious amen you can be seated if you feel like you need to again I welcome our guest those online watching I'm so glad you've joined with us exciting to see what God's doing amen I know that many times I I realize that there there's challenges in our lives and many times I try to address some of those challenges because I want to better understand what in the world is going on anybody like to know what's happening I'm sure that before you leave the house you probably check weathered or at least pull the curtain back to see if it's raining out if it's snowing or if it's 150 degrees right the greatest challenge for us many times is when we feel like we've lost all hope February the 1st 2003 was a bright morning at exactly 8 59 in the morning space shuttle Columbia was 38 miles above the Texas sky some of you may recall this event crew of Seven astronauts they were well trained expertly prepared for the journey that awaited them in all the preparations and all that they had done they had no idea what was awaiting them as they seated themselves in the shuttle in their space suits astronaut where if you will to make that flight into space the moment the precise condition everything had to be prepared exactly the way that it would be declared but something happened and it all fell apart only investigations would by the trained Engineers that who had assembled this particular space shuttle they would be able to their best case scenario to go through the pieces that they picked up and it was a travesty to everybody who watched it and saw it happen on TVs across the world I remember where I was I remember watching it as I'm I think we were walking through a shopping center somewhere and I look over at a television and I see this and I'm like what has happened and I draw closer and I see what happened unbelief and shock unbelief and shock I only bring that particular piece of History to us today to emphasize a point things happen and after all the preparation and all the conditions and everything in the right place things can happen at a moment that you don't expect them to happen we have all face great challenges in our lives have we not no doubt there have been days when you look back and it you seem to Marvel at the series of events and things that happened in your life and you survived it somehow you you came came through it and you're okay for an example no doubt all of you can remember well the older ones of us can recall airplanes crashing into the World Trade Center the younger folks you only get to watch it on YouTube or on on a movie or something but for us who lived through it we remember those particular things there may even be some in here today that remembers the assassination of a president in our nation in Dallas Texas maybe even others in here remember the words of an astronaut as he stepped out onto the surface of the Moon powerful events that are etched into our minds and and life brings an understanding to us how these events transpire and it it forms an entire culture in an entire world you learn though basically by mistakes that are made I know that they never wanted the space shuttle to blow up but from that they made multiple changes to the at the the uh apparatuses that are in the astronaut suits the helmets the gloves everything's gone through a reed look only because of a disaster y'all stay with Pastor a moment today every one of us have been affected by things that have happened in our lives but I trust that we have learned and we have grown through all of those situations we've come through many times grandparents great grandparents they look as if they're gazing out into the sky in a position that makes you wonder what are they thinking of you guys know the look laughs I'm practicing for my grandkids ask me questions what you doing being old that that distant look what are they doing many times they're remembering things they're considering things there there have been Impressions on their minds that that are moving and they cause them to to be in a position that they are maybe maybe for some of you you understand this when a certain song comes on the radio or when a certain smell hits your nostrils I still have a lot of things man I could smell diesel fuel a mile away and so many memories come back in my mind from when I was in the military and these trucks and tanks and stuff running by and I'm like what a disgusting smell or or yesterday yesterday anybody here like to drive out in Apison next to Little Debbie oh come on you can gain weight just out there Meandering around Seth I go by and I tell my oh it's pecan day baby yes pecan day today slow down tap the brakes no it's Strawberry Shortcake now I tell her all the time I say I wonder what Swiss Rolls y'all know what I'm talking about those things that trigger your mind it enables us to to gather information and instantly the images conversations of things that happen or places we are or things that happen in our lives stuff that we want to forget but we can't for some reason it is still there as we sit here today in this room I'm reminding us that life happens life passes the sun comes up but wait for it the sun will go down some of us have already forgotten what happened this morning in your house before you came to worship right because you've had 500 things that have transpired before you got here you may know what I'm saying yet you're here with us you're enjoying time together we all have a past we all understand that that there are things that have happened in our past but yet we are here right now and the fact is is as you've lifted your hands today and you've prayed as you've worshiped as you've cried as you've reached out to God you are planning for your future with that said I know that there are paths that we walk there are things that we have to grab a hold of and and we refer to it as life because every day we live that life moments that are connected together they form the minutes who are formed who are connected to ours and they turn into days and in weeks months and years so on and so forth all of life brings us to a place of situations that have happened that have brought us together that have torn us apart the good the bad the ugly look at your neighbor and say I want you to know that you're a part of my life today come on tell somebody you will be a part of who I am because you came to church today tell somebody come on encourage them you're going to be a better person today because you sat next to me oh some of y'all already know what I'm talking about because you've been hateful since you've been here I know many times that we look at the historical events in our in our lives so that we can see into the future some of us make decisions that that happen to us in the past and we make decisions that will affect our future because of how the past happened no no you don't want to drive down that road my experience is this and it gives us fear about what may happen the next time some of you may say you know what I don't want to try this again because the last time I tried that this is what happened therefore I'm going to predicting my future I don't want to go back to that pain or that sorrow I realized that the past that we have lived through has an effect on us isn't that true but the future that we don't know has an effect on us also stand with me guys hang on to me we can hope and we can make plans we can be safe we can call the shots the best that we know how but there are unknowns that help happen to us they affect us and they have an impact on us I believe Paul understood this when he wrote to the Roman Church in chapter 8 verse number 28 we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the called according to his purpose Paul wrote to the church there all things working together if we love God so then explain the hurts explain the pains explain the sufferings and the sorrows and the the things that we face and the problems and the situations we go through we should be able to live our lives pain-free shouldn't we now we've already discovered today that it is in the disasters and in the message that you can re-look at it and you can re-establish that is not the way to do it have you ever suffered loss in your life and you figure out I won't do that again but I did figure out this is the better way to do him you should be able to live your life according to how God designs it but I've come today to tell somebody some things are Unforgettable some things will fade with time but some things will not hang on to me I'm here today to help you to understand that there are what ifs yes there are there certainly are Woulda Shoulda coulda's yes there are but I want to remind somebody today sitting in this place or watching online that there is a purpose and there is a plan to every life I believe that God knows after the hurt the sorrow the pain and the suffering that you can learn something through that and you can move forward after that you get through that time when the only hope is the present life that you live you've got to understand something something's wrong but if you can ever allow those things happening in your life to shape your future then you can decide you know what I know the one who holds my tomorrow I know the one who's breathing life already into my next week I know the one who's established my goings and my comings therefore I will trust I will hope I will believe in him when you meet Jesus Christ your life has changed has anybody had a god encounter come on a God moment that moment at an altar that moment in a prayer closet that moment when you were a child or an adult where the power and the spirit of God began to work in your life you don't understand it you don't comprehend it but something is for certain God is doing a work in your life I know that we understand that the power of God can do anything it can adjust it can rearrange and it can make things have purpose but I've come to tell you Church everything is working together because God is in everything that is working Paul wrote to another church the thessalonicans and second Thessalonians 2 15. therefore Brethren Stand Fast hold the Traditions which he had been taught whether by word or epistle whether by word or our epistle to those who are falling in love with Jesus Falling in Love with the church you need to understand something in that day the church was being established and Paul was given a strong declaration to the church family Stand Fast understand there are things that are going to happen in your life and you may or may not know what to do when it happens but do not move you hold firm to what the word is telling you you hold firm to what the scripture is written to you in that particular day he was writing to the church telling him what you've heard by the words that I spoke what you've heard by what I've declared to you you need to align your life to it but not only that there's a letter that's come to use two months ago three months ago there's a letter that'll be written to you to give you guidance and direction to us in 2022 I've come to declare that the word of God is still forever settled in heaven there's no way to adjust it alter it or make it work for you but instead I've come to declare to somebody the day has come to stand fast in the Gospel of Jesus Christ do not move hold firm to who he is allow the work the work of God and the word of God the work in your life things are happening today you don't know how it's going to turn out you don't fully understand what tomorrow holds up but hold on to the one thing that you do know and that is the examples in the word when the preacher stands behind this desk you need to recognize something that the voice of God is still speaking it will be confirmed by the already written word of God if it's not you better think about it twice but friend of mine get in the word salvation comes by the word the power of the changing word of Jesus Christ can work in every single one of us to another church a letter was written colossian Church two and nine for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the godhead bodily and ye are complete in him which is the head of all principality and power I come to tell you friend you better stand fast on who he is you better Stand Fast upon the word of God Stand Fast that he is the completeness of all things don't be looking for another God don't wonder if there's more or better out there but establish yourself upon the one who went to Calvary for you Stand Fast there's a lot of shaking going on in our world today a lot of questions in the religious world today there's a lot of concern if you will and what's going to happen to the Future of our church the church a church a particular congregation I I do a lot of reading and I want I don't know if anybody follows this or not but I read the little religious column if you will that comes out once a week in New York Times Washington Post so forth It's just intriguing interesting to me to to read that and to find out that what I discovered in last week through an article that I read and maybe you saw it as well churches are closing their doors because it's no longer relevant I mean no I probably read that sent in my office because my church door was open I don't even know I didn't even get into church today because it's closed the percentage of denominal they call it the nominal pastors who are declaring the Bible is harder to explain to people today listen to this because of the revelation of what they have in our current culture I didn't know I had no idea that I didn't know but I found out brother Daniel that I didn't know nothing because apparently our culture decides things oh God help me to stay on track today apparently you can look at the world as you want to and you can decide you know what it doesn't matter what the laws of nature say it doesn't matter what somebody says to you declaring a Bible an old book that's Dusty written years ago no longer relevant to where we are today it doesn't matter if you'll just be a good person if you'll just think of good stuff if you'll just sing Kumbaya twice walk around in circles shake a hand raise your hand and Patty you can do what you want to I didn't know all that brother Vandy because as far as I'm concerned when somebody asks me a question I got one filter to run it through and that's the word of God I didn't establish this word of God I didn't write a word in the book I didn't put anything down in there it was done and handed to me years ago my grandparents they're the ones who decided you know what we need to teach this to our children and it was to my mom and dad who they said you know what we're going to teach it to our children and it was me and my wife who decided you know what this word's so good we're going to tell our kids about it it's the same word that we're saying you know what when my grandbabies are born they're going to first thing they're going to hear is hero Israel the Lord our God is one Lord why because the word of God is forever settled come on it is Jesus Christ in him dwells the full you better Stand Fast upon what the word says in him dwells the fullness of the godhead there's folk that'll confuse things twist things turn things and I look at them every time I explain that to me somebody telling you know what it says to be baptized in the name of the father I'm just using this as an example and the holy God said that's exactly right it says that explain it to me oh well what my preacher has said no I'll talk to him then or to her I don't have to pick a fight I don't have to I don't look I just simply say you know what there is a word that said on it and from the foundation of the world that word has been settled and I'm simply going to stand upon that word because that's the one that I have to give an account to why because that's the one that Jesus holds us liable to it would be unfair for him to say you know what for one generation I'll do this for the next one I'll do that and for the next one I'll do that come on somebody get in your word and figure out that when Jesus stood that day and he read the words and he closed the scroll and handed it to him when he said today I've come to fulfill it what he was declaring In the Flesh was I'm walking in shoe leather right now to put everything that the apostles or that the prophets of old said and to put Bones on it and skin on it for what everything they said to be fulfilled how can that be I'll tell you how it can be everywhere that he walked he talks about the Kingdom of Heaven every place that he went he talked about thus is the Kingdom of Heaven every place that he went into he talked about thus as the Kingdom of Heaven what he was doing was telling them what that the prophets of old look for things they looked out there they wanted they stretched they reached but they couldn't get to it but now there's an ability to get through it how because he is the fullness of the godhead bodily and because of that you better stand faster upon the word allow it to become part of Who You Are to another church to Ephesus he wrote in 3 and 17 that Christ May dwell in your hearts by faith that ye being rooted and grounded in love may be able to comprehend with All Saints what is the breath the length the depth and the height and to know the love of Christ which path is knowledge that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God what you what you and I understand today in our generation in our culture there's not another God there's not some other way to figure out but it is the word of God that is established and we better Stand Fast upon that word of God when you look at the actual worst and fast it simply means to get a firm hold on to establish your footing and to declare I'm not going left and right work you can do what you want to family you can act like you want to world you can do how you want to do it but as for me I'm going to find myself on the prayer closet I'm going to find myself in a position for the word of God to speak to me there are things that have happened in life they are historical accounts that have formed and shaped who I am today but my future is based upon something that happened from the beginning of all of creation therefore I will declare the whole counsel of God I will declare the word of God I will preach it on every corner that I can or every place that I may I will establish it you do what you want to but as for me in my house we've already made a decision we are filled with the fullness of God because the love of Christ is working in our lives there is no other way there is no other way some of you may even say wow you can't be that strong in 2022 you got to be accepting you've got to receive everybody you got to make exceptions for all inclusive I've heard that phrase so many times of late and I say yes that's true because it's all in him I'm not trying to get to your heaven I'm not trying to get to your heaven I could care less about your heaven or your heaven or your heaven but there is once there is something that is establishing the word of God in my life therefore I will say Jesus you're the one that died on a cross you're the one that gave your life therefore I will declare I will stand firm I Will Stand Fast upon the truth of the word of God I don't have to be afraid I don't have to Shake in my shoes but I can stand on any place and I can declare thus says the word of the Lord so today in this room I'm asking somebody are you tired of all the lies and all the things that the world is trying to reach to you with come on there are doctrines and teachings that are so contrary to the word of God contrary to the things of God yesterday morning I had to share this and I was I hesitate to but I feel like I need to yesterday morning I'm sitting on my favorite swing on my favorite back porch drinking my favorite beverage with Jesus come on anybody understand a good hot cup of coffee with a little cream in it I just do real well with that thank you and I'm sitting there and I'm swinging on my swing just to swing and somebody May know that one and I noticed brother Daniel In The Back Fence row of my house this stirring I'm sitting and I kind of look about and look through the screened-in porch and I look out and there's a cat that comes through my fence row at the back now all y'all know Pastor ain't a cat guy that's the way my mom raised me we tried it didn't work they don't have any owners I'm like you know what you do what you think and just look at you so I just don't do cats I got a dog I tolerate this cat come through the fence row brother Daniel I'm a cat in my yard oh no he didn't I was gonna get up brother van and go get my dog you know we'll just see how this works but I noticed so y'all hang on to me a moment y'all hang on to me I noticed that the cat did not come alone through that fence but I noticed that cat had something in its mouth and I'll think well this is interesting I can I can't really make it out I'm like squint you know that early morning coffee squint he drops it on the ground and then he just sits down or she or whatever cats are and this little guy starts moving around I mean he had something in his mouth and it wasn't a cup of coffee but it was an aminal I'm sorry animal isticia got me okay and this thing hits the ground I'm like bless it's hard he threw down his supper or his breakfast well then that thing started moving and I said well now this is interesting and so whatever that thing was began to do this and it's a little bitty thing it ain't that big and he'd move two or three feet this way and that little cat would get up and go poof and then it quit five seconds later that little thing would do this I could barely see it through the grass and that cat would go and then he'd back and I'm looking around what in the world it Dawns it's a squirrel little bitty guy if y'all hang on to me some of y'all like oh Disney would die at that yeah because they do all those y'all do it anyway another story he's got this little baby squirrel you know how I figured it out because the little squirrel got you loose from him and ran into the tree line I went whoa he'd lost breakfast and that thing went up a tree I'm like but that's a cat and what does a cat have a climbing gear so he just down the ground he comes again y'all hang on to me I'm sitting here watching this time to talk to the Lord and this whole thing is in front of me and it's unfolding now this little thing is sitting there the cat's this far back guess what happened to my friendly neighbors next door have three large dogs about this tall they open the back door and here comes these big old ruffle scruffs full of them now they have a fenced-in yard kitty cat doesn't know that so guess what he did shoot he runs off goes into the tree line all he's just fence again I'm watching y'all okay with me y'all hanging on to me dogs are barking and they go do their business and a minute or so later guess what I'm doing I'm cheering on this little squirrel come on buddy get out get up get up get up off of that ground I'll help you out drawing I'll try to help you that little squirrel stayed there I'm squinting I'm like is that dude still that that dumb thing all he had to do he could have sat shade out of the way that cat ain't coming nowhere near these big old dogs 30 seconds a minute goes by and I'm still watching this and finally the dogs go in the house and that cat just comes right out and the little guy finally does what took off whoa that cat's like thank you he's patting this dude around me he's running in circles and I'm watching this whole thing unfold now I know y'all know Pastor ain't got a right mind sometimes and I'm looking at this and it's almost as if the Lord said I needed you out here today to watch this because I want to demonstrate something to you Raymond and sitting there watching this and in my mind y'all think I'm silly in my mind the Lord began to unfold something what you are watching happening right now in front of you is exactly what's happening to people that you know the enemy has become a roaring lion to them and he has brought them to a place and he has laid them down and they are moving left and right and he's jumping up and every time they try to get loose he just simply puts his paw on it he'll smack him this way and smack him that way if they had any any unction whatsoever understanding those people would get up and simply say God open the door and let the dogs out because as soon as the dogs come out guess what there's an opportunity now y'all think that's silly don't you and the Lord began to reveal to me one more time what a dog that's a silly thing the Lord said no you realize when you go to camp meeting there's a dog barking that devil backs away from you and you're sitting there looking around where did the enemy go what's going on what's happening to me I am convinced brother Tim if I would have simply opened up my screen door that cat would have boogied off and that animal would have laid there and he would have never come back because cats don't like humans coming around when their lunch is laying there you know what I'm saying but I'm watching this unfold and in my mind I'm saying Lord I pray today for Cornerstone Apostolic church because I know there are some that sit under your power and your spirit weekly and the enemy has got them he doesn't he's not chewing him up he's not mauling them he's simply and when they get up and they try to get away on a Sunday he goes and then take his hand off and he sits back and they're gonna here we go and they take off a little bit more and the enemy say well nope not there I'm convinced 100 that if I'd open that door and walk out what if Jesus were to come into your scene right now and the enemy himself were to be scared to death because he doesn't want to be in the presence of God it scares him to death the only reason oh Jesus help me today the only reason that the Bible tells us about the story of job or where was the devil he was roaming the Earth doing what I just wish that I had somebody to mess up and Jesus said oh come here come here come here come here come here come here have you considered my yeah yeah I've been by his house yeah I heard him when he prayed I couldn't get close yeah the Lord says to him what I tell you what do what you need to with him do what you want just don't take his life and stuff and so what did what did the enemy come in and do poop and he's laying there and he's taking all this beating but when God when the God of all creation came in and establish this is my child how do you know he won't curse you because he's my child I heard his prayer he is standing fast upon the word he's not bent to the left or to the right I've come to tell somebody what I learned yesterday may have been a simple explanation but to me I was reminded of the goodness of God and now if I'll tell the enemy right now get away from me my daddy's right there and if I can just begin to love and worship him he's going to put you in your proper place I've come to tell somebody it's time to say to the enemy I am standing fast upon the promises of the word of God my children will pray through in the Holy Ghost altar my spouse will be saved from the Holy Ghost my school will have Revival in the name of Jesus my workplace will be changed by the anointing of a holy God my children will grow up to be preachers and teachers and evangelists and apostles and Prophets and singers and musicians my babies are going to know the God Lord God that I serve why because I'm standing fast devil you can't have my wife you can't have my children you can't have my job you can't foreign I am a child of God the Lord God lives in me he knows where I stand he knows where I am today stand with me right now would you declare today Lord I Will Stand Fast upon your promises if you know somebody that needs the Holy Ghost will you stand fast in believing that God can bring them to an Old Rugged Cross come on some of you parents need to intercede today for your children some of you grandparents need to intercede today for your great-grandchildren and your grandchildren come on some of you young folk need to stand up and recognize there's a call of God on my life I will stand firm upon that call of God come on some of y'all need to declare that when God prophesied into my life the devil can't have it but I will stand firm in the word of God come on you better believe standing firm Stand Fast establish your footsteps get a hold of the word get a hold of the promise of God and let God do the work in your life this altar's open right now if you need the gift of the Holy Ghost I invite you to come to this altar the Lord God can fill you right now with his Spirit you will speak with new tongues as the spirit gives utterance he will establish you in this place come on young person come on Mom and Dad this altar's open right now Jesus oh come on are there any prayer warriors in the house that will come to an altar today and declare the whole counsel of God I stand today in the altar I believe today because of the altar come on Jesus I will not give up I will not throw in the towel I will Jesus believe you oh come on church it's prayer time in the house of God would you come it's prayer time in the house of God would you come Jesus have your way Jesus pour out of your spirit come on come on you might feel like you're being batted to the left or right you may feel like the enemy's coming he's put his paw on you and you can't move I challenge you today cry out to the Lord God get him on the scene things will change things will change life will change all things are working all things are moving all things are shifting and adjusting oh that's right come on it's prayer time get a hold of somebody bring them to the altar pray with them come on that's right bring them to the Altar and pray with them right now parents pray with your kids come on they need it yeah yeah love you Lord come on that's right in Jesus name in Jesus name oh come on me and pray where's the prayer warriors come on me and pray come on men lift your voice come on ladies lift your voice the name of Jesus that's right come on the word of God move right now Jesus I stand firm upon you shine I stand fast in the doctrine of who you are the teachings of who you are that's right come on lift your voice cry out to the king of glory come on cry out to the king of glory I need you Jesus I trust you Jesus yes I trust your lord Jesus come on that's right won't you reach over pray for somebody close by you there or maybe ask somebody would you pray for me I need prayer today I need hope today in my life that's right come on pray Church believe in the prayer answering God his name is Jesus the breath the length the depth the height your name is how deep how far away your name is Love foreign that's right come on in the name of Jesus devil you're a liar you're a liar leave these families alone in the name of Jesus leave these families alone in the name of Jesus leave these families alone in the name of Jesus we stand firm upon who you are Jesus that's right go pray with somebody get a hold of somebody speak a word into their life today come on let the gifts work in your life today Jesus the day Lord somebody's making a choice somebody's making a decision Lord yes Jesus Jesus for my family yes Jesus come on go pray with somebody lead the blood of Jesus over them come on plead the blood of Jesus over them shout Jesus from there is healing in the names Jesus in the streets there is healing in the name Jesus in the darkness there is healing in the name there is Deliverance in the day oh that's right that the word becomes strong in your life reach to heaven right now Jesus Jesus Jesus We Stand Fast oh that's right come on let Faith let Faith grow right now the delivery power of the word Jesus the delivering power of the word Hallelujah the spirit of the Lord God pray Spirit of the Lord oh come on that's right breakthrough breakthrough there is breakthrough Holy Ghost breakthrough your name is power the name of Jesus the name of Jesus a shadow I need you I need you Jesus right now everybody get a hold of somebody would you please come on everybody needs somebody right now we're going to pray one for another come on there are strength and numbers there is strength in numbers that's right get a hold of somebody's hand put your hand on her shoulder pray right now call their name out to the Lord right now Jesus Jesus come on somebody have faith God you can move in their life you can work a miracle right now Jesus you can God you can Jesus yes you can yes you can Jesus come on Craig call on the name of the Lord the name of Jesus breathe into this room holy ghost power breathe into this room right now yes Lord yes Lord yes Lord yes Lord yes Lord anointing of the Lord move in this place glory of the Lord blow into this room you are the power of God yes you are you are the answer Jesus yes you are in the name of Jesus the name of Jesus the name of Jesus oh mighty God you can
