pray with me would your lord I thank you one more time for the opportunity to be in your house or your presence Lord for truth that is here today I think I believe in you Jesus and I honor you order I love you I need you and I trust you pour out of your spirit in this house lord I pray let the glory of the Lord rest upon this room let every heart in life be touched and changed by the power of the Cross yellow bikochu yellow fish or malaria high in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus thank you for your word Lord thank you for your word Jesus thank you hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah somebody say in Jesus name thank you lord thank you lord allow me to say a big thank you to all of you for your kindness my birthday thank you sister Kim for overcoming the fear of the microphone that speaks volumes of your love for the church thank you for that sis thank you Thank You church for being nice to me tomorrow's income tax day but my wife and I we get a return this year yeah that's so depressing that's money I could have had throughout the year anyway all $7 of it you may be seated thank you so much for standing in to our guests welcome you to the house of the Lord thank you so much for being here don't forget the announcements like to see your smiling face I'd like to see all those peanut butter and coconut eggs gone out there buy and sell all right Jesus name thank you brother Doron thank you singers and musicians thank you Sunday School teachers for teaching every Sunday for those of you that came out yesterday and helped with the eggs thank you a lot of work we have looked into the events that surround the days that Jesus went through such a great and terrible thing before he died on a cross we have discussed over the past few services the details of the way that his life came to the point where he simply the scripture says he gave up the ghost quite honestly it would have not been a very pretty sight death quite honestly in fact is rarely beautiful it's so final it's so period it so nothing past it nothing more to see nor feel from the individual who dies and I realize that in this room that most of us have had experiences with somebody family member friend neighbor whatever that took their last breath and and then nothing I have stood in hospital rooms I have stood in different various places and I have watched that and I'm not being morbid today I am simply trying to get us to realize and understand that the death of Jesus was not a pretty thing as we look at the cross today it is a simple reminder a very vivid and stark reminder of the sacrifice that was paid for every single one of us how many of you are thankful for the cross today come on are you thankful for the cross today are you thankful for the cross today now for you and I today in 2019 we can see the effects of a dying Savior but we forget sometimes the steps that led him to that cross and to you and I today the purpose of the cross and the purpose of our Savior dying on that cross is to be with us for us to us what anything that we would need in our lives the fact of the matter is is the terribleness of the cross actually brings blessings and great things into our lives there are many things today that we could mention about the cross and much could be said about the details of prophecies that had been fulfilled from days of old I want to mention today a very powerful event that transpired on that fateful day when Jesus died in the days that led up to the day that Jesus died on a cross there was a whole bunch of preparation that needed to be done Jesus spent very valuable time with his followers his disciples and he was teaching and talking to them about the events that were going to transpire if you were to go today and we will in just a moment go into the book of John you can read a very intimate account of conversations that were had between Jesus and his followers Jesus knew that I have to do something because my time is at hand and I've got to make sure that I cross all the T's and dot all of the i's and I can't let anything just kind of happen I got to have to make sure that I do it all exactly the way that I am supposed to do it so the scripture tells us for an example in the book John chapter number 13 now before the Feast of the Passover when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world under the father having loved his own which were in the world he loved them unto the end Jesus was spending time with those that he loved those that loved him those in which he had poured himself into and he knew the day is soon approaching that there's something that is going to transpire very quickly therefore I have to let them know how things are going to come down I want them to understand that if they will listen to what I tell them and if they will get a hold of the spirit of the word that I tell them that when the moment comes they do not have to scatter if you will like cockroaches with a spray but they can actually stand and they can take a declaration to say I believe in what Jesus poured into me and so Jesus knowing full well the humanity involved knowing full well that if he did not pour himself into them that there was going to be something that would be missed so I paused today on this Sunday the Sunday prior to Easter and I simply tell you from my perspective that simply when Jesus began to do the most important things that he could do the very first thing that he did was he took a towel in his hand they stooped down and he washed their feet John 13 and 4 he rides it from supper laid aside his garments took a towel girded himself after that he poured water into a basin he began to wash the disciples feet and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded interestingly enough he wanted to make sure that they all knew the heart of a servant must be that you have to serve people the master and the servant mentality is very distinct and different yet Jesus as the man as the rabbi as the teacher he was instructing them and telling them if you're gonna be lifted up the first thing you've got to do is get on your knees and become a servant understanding that the lowliest have a place in the family and in the kingdom of God what Jesus was doing of course was symbolic in that day Jesus finished washing their feet he put his garment back on he sat down he laid the towel aside and the basin of water he pushed to the side and then he looked him in the eye and he began to address them and he began to talk to them about what was going to happen notice second of all after he was the servant to them verse 21 of chapter 13 when Jesus thus said he was troubled in spirit testified saying verily verily I say unto you that one of you shall betray me then the disciples looked one on another doubting of whom he spanked verse 23 now there was leaning on Jesus bosom one of his disciples whom Jesus loved remember Jesus was in a position to teach he was in a position to impart to them the great things that they needed to understand first thing he did was wash their feet the second thing he do he did was tell them one of you is going to walk away from me one of you is not going to adhere to what I'm teaching to you that teaches us today even in our generation that there will be some here what pastor says for a moment that will indeed stand with him when the multitudes there but when it comes to a point of decision they are not with Jesus they are going to walk around Jesus we understand that Jesus wanted the men to understand it as well you've got to get this in your heart and you've got to realize not everybody who hears the word is going to adapt themselves to the word there will be some that will deny it there will be some that'll lie about it there will be some that'll wash their hands of it and walk away again I could talk about the cross and all the death on it but before I do I want us to understand that Jesus knows Manatee he knew exactly how people would respond and in these last moments with his followers he's telling him you got to be a servant but some sitting here are not going to go with you in fact one is about to betray your master John 14 begins this way let not your heart be troubled you believe in God believe also in me stay with me in my father's house are many mansions if it were not so I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you verse 3 and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself and where I am there you may be also and whether I go you know and the way you know Jesus let them know that there would be a place that there was going to be a place that was prepared for those who were willing to follow the example that he gives understanding fully there are many mansions it doesn't say there are 125 it doesn't say there are 360 5412 it simply says many to you and I that is a clear indication if you want to follow Jesus you can if you want to fall in love with him you can in spite of your heritage in your history and your family connection and all the problem and all the mess that you could dig up in your life if you choose to follow Jesus you can why because there's a mansion that he is making for those who will say I am NOT my own but I bought into what Jesus is telling me to do enough mansions for all who would follow him to a place where I had not seen an ear could not even hear about a place that he wanted to spend an eternity with those who would pursue him in continuance in John chapter 14 verse number 15 if you love me keep my Commandments and I will pray the Father and he shall give you another comforter capital C that he may abide with you forever even the spirit capital S of Truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not neither knoweth him but you know him for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you I stand at this desk today and I declare one of the most fantastic English words that we could ever hear to our ears a comforter a comforter an abiding staying comforter a spirit of truth that comes from being part of the family of God when you have no comfort Jesus will be your comfort how can it be that out of the mouth of somebody that was about to die someone about to be nailed to a cross knowing full well what was about to transpire how can it be that Jesus would look his disciples in the eye even those who may or may not have comprehended scratching their chin wondering what he was talking about and look to them and say I'm going away I'm preparing a place I'm getting a place ready for you some of them you read the account in John said we're gonna go with it you can't wherever you go we'll go you can't wherever you walk we'll walk with you you can't why not because you need the comforter if you don't have the comforter in you it's simply gonna be a journey and you cannot cross over from here to there unless the comforter brings you home how can it be that Jesus would speak of death and dying and then look to them and say but a comforter is coming back the investment of his time his commitment that he made to each one of his followers he poured into them with plan and with purpose his acts and his teaching his demonstration his power they saw so many incredible things and here he is now at a point that he knows what's about to transpire they can't see it yet they don't comprehend it yet they don't grasp it with their minds just yet and yet Jesus begins this journey with them three and a half years before and now it comes to this point what did Jesus try his very best to get into the hearts and the minds of Khmer humanity why is it that Jesus the Savior must first go to a cross and to die there what is it about that cross that is so important to the king of glory and the one that created all things I stand at this desk and I declare to you friend that men are born but me and also live their lives and men die it is there for every single one of us to partake of in our lives or is it for you and I cannot fully understand the flesh side of humanity but today I declare to you the spirit side of humanity that's a story altogether different in and of its home Jesus came to live and to die in the flesh and he came to instruct us on what was to happen but there's something else that he was trying his best to endow into somebody how you live in this present world will determine what you live after this present world he instructed us if you die out to me and you allow the cross to be taken upon yourself then there's a place that I have prepared for you you've got to understand friend up in 2019 in a socially incorrect society this world would have you to think that cross of Calvary is a pretty thing needs to be looked at with Easter bunnies in with eggs and with chickens but that's not the case it was yes it was dying but it was also life eternal now I don't mind telling you when you begin to read the the crucifixion of Jesus Christ it ought to turn your stomach upside down it ought to make tears the size of crocodiles come out of your eyeballs to think that the same Jesus who said to the little lad give me what you have and I'll multiply it and feed all of those who are hungry to think that Jesus who walked to the edge of a grave and said Lazarus come out to think that that same Jesus that did so many miracles so many incredible things would now be standing in a position to die a cruel hateful spiteful death you know it's one thing to die it's another thing to know what happens on the other side of death notice what happened let me let me fill in a few blanks for you today you turn to the Gospel of Matthew chapter number 27 notice what is said here by the writer in verse number 51 behold the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom the earth did quake and the rocks rent and the graves were opened many bodies of the saints which slept arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared unto many his death caused such a reaction friend that flesh and spirit could not even understand what had just transpired the temple itself of that day changed its actual layout it shattered it rumbled it crumbled it began to move and the veil that was so vitally important to those who went into the Holy of Holies it was the separation here pass for a moment of the very Chicano glory of God and humanity itself that veil torn from top to bottom that veil the death of our Savior on an old cruel cross it rent from top to bottom graves of old prophets and old Saints begin to open up and things begin to transpire in the spirit and in the flesh and actually with the rock hold earth if you will death and call such a reaction something happened that changed all things but what does this mean to you and I allow me if you will the rider to the Hebrew says it in Hebrews 10 and 19 having therefore brethren boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus listen by a new and living way which he hath consecrated for us through the veil wait a minute that is to say his flesh and having an High Priest over the house of God let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering parentheses for he is faithful that promised to close a parenthesis and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is but exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the Day approaching can you see what the writer to the Hebrews says when it talks about the veil it simply says here that is his flesh when Jesus died on cross and the veil of the temple was rent top-to-bottomer that was symbolism that there was something that just transpired in the spirit world I declare to this congregation on this Sunday afternoon the flesh of Jesus Christ represented a veil that separated humanity from the glory of God but when it was torn that day something transpired when he came off of the cross and he made his way as they carried him into a tomb there was a battle that was gonna happen and that battle was going to be between the Lord Jesus Christ and his flash' and what was gonna happen after he came out of that grave you've got to understand something as part of his descent as part of his descent into the lower part you've got to remember Fred that when you look at Jesus his flesh is the veil when he died when he simply spoke it is finished I've been holding this flesh for 33 plus years I wanted so bad to get out of him fact not long ago I stood upon a mount with those closest and I pulled back the veil I pull back the veil of humanity and I led I'll let the closest one see my glory I even let him see a couple prophets of hold and the first thing they wanted to do was build a temple up here and call it the Mount of Transfiguration but I told him no not yet why cuz I'm still in flash' I've got to go to a cross I've got to go to the tomb but it's not gonna be over until I get out of that rock that I spoke in to exist and what's gonna happen it's at that point that I'll say to you Oh death where is your victory now Oh grave where is your sting now I've overcome it why because I am the one that brings life now I realize that as humans we have a hard time sometimes anybody here understand everything about life okay you teenagers put your hands down fact of the matter is simply this I cannot describe to you all of the ins and outs all of the ups and downs now I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings but IIIi don't believe they'll be puppies because I don't want to have to clean up after not sure they'll be horses I'll get stamped on but I do think that my god will be there because it's his and I can only imagine what Jesus and his flesh felt as he everyday woke the body up put the body to bed at night walk in and amongst his disciples and followers instructing them leaving them showing them do you believe how many folk the scripture says I could do no great work there because of their unbelief they simply realized if they would only get a hold of the fact that I have to come here why because with me here by myself all alone in this flesh I am God's Word wrapped in flesh but that's not enough for them the comforter has got to come to them it's that comforter that will be see jesus knew and understood tonight I'm gonna put my head down in this pillow at this house with this friend but that would have been the only place that he would have slept that night stay with me but now that the Holy Ghost power has been brought through out of a grave then you tonight laying in your bed it's the same God that's in my bed tonight when I go it's the same one that's across the globe in the countries that you can't even say their name it's the same God that's their moving and doing the miraculous things it's the same God that is pouring out of his spirit and changing lives in Jesus in and of himself he knew I must needs go I've got to go away I've got to get out of here we're coming with you no you're not not because the comforter hasn't yet come I gotta get out of the way so that the spirit can come and feel humanity Jesus himself was that veil that separated you from the glory but when he died on a cross all of that changed I stand here today in this Easter season and I declare to all of you into myself when you look at the cross of Calvary when you look at the beauty of the cross and I realize this is too two-by-sixes screwed together a little stain on it it's simple representation fact is if you're a Bible scholar you could question me on that cross because of the day in which Jesus was crucified it would not even look like that it would have been a stake most likely he would have been crucified like this because that's what they hung people that's why the cursed tree the tree can't do that it can't support it you look at that that came across in the 3rd generation the 3rd century this idea came along what Jesus would have carried on on the road when he was walking up the hill could have possibly been a cross tie that would have set on another post so even the fact that this is what it would look like but I'm simply standing here in 2019 trying to get a group of people to understand this represents he died I've already gotten poked at with fun because I got this a little OBT stone over here that's because that's the size of that swimming pool under that thing y'all thought I was smart I couldn't cover this whole thing up but it could have been like that I'll ask you this way were you there so now now argue you wasn't made out of paper you don't know I don't either but that's a symbol of a place where Joseph of Arimathea said I'm sorry to bother you but there's a body on a cross and our law says it can't hang there past the Sun going down because we're in the midst of a feast is there any way sir that you would let me have that body is there any way that I I could at least deal with that body is there any way that you'd be kind enough to say you know what go ahead take the body down you may know the story see the cross that was on the left and the right side they had to break the knees those two guys so that they could no longer breathe and push themselves up to to breathe they simply suffocated when it came to Jesus you may understand prophecies will never be bypassed from his side can't get it out of a side if you break his knee prophesy here make sure he's dead wash the flush of water that surrounded the heart trying to protect it because all the blood that was lost it was the fluid around the heart trying to keep the heart moving and keep it from being abused it flush all that flow because prophecy had to be fulfilled Arimathea that's a place where Joseph was where he was the right to vote man it was also a religious guy to study for another day he says simply if I may then I'll take him and put him in my tomb that belongs to my family and I'll cover it up and that's where he'll lay it was the court the sanhedrin it was those guys who were making a mess of this that went back to the rulers and said hey we're not careful they'll come steal the body and they'll make this whole thing this big old movie yeah it'll become a big old it'll become a big a big hit they'll make billions of dollars because they'll make a movie out of this empty tomb thing we can't let that happen we need the right that's not what they said but they were saying we got to make sure this don't happen and so what the guys say fine put a stone on it make sure it's sealed make sure the segments applied and put guards there kind of job is that honey be home for dinner no watch a rock huh watching a rock what that's what I said hey John tell me that joke again man I've told you 40 times I know but we're watching a rock now you see this that's all that's happening but somewhere behind this rock in that place called a grave the trail that brought him from there to there Jesus was not asleep he was not out he had rolled up his sleeves he had said there's gonna come a day I'm gonna have to walk in somebody's life they're gonna think all hope is gone they're not gonna know what to do next their lives gonna be pieces in shambles and they won't know how it ever happened that way whatever came and they won't know how it opened up how about how it all transpired that way but I want them to know that the grave is empty therefore I'm getting in that grave because one day there's gonna be somebody that's gonna come to me and say Jesus I'm suffering I'm hurting and the master himself gonna say I know exactly what you've been through but you can get out of that grave you can get up out of that stone it's not a permanent fixture it itself I came to tell somebody today he was the veil that was showing up but he brings glory into our lives today if you know him you ought to be on your feet right now lessen his name and thanking him for the sacrifice that he made for the sacrifice that he gave for his blood that He shed why because he became the veil that was torn so that you could walk into the presence of a holy God I wish somebody would begin to worship right now somebody begin to recognize God you have been there in all of life situations you've never left me you've never forsaken me you've never run away from me oh come on that's right let praise he rubbed out of your mouth right now Jesus Jesus Jesus you're holy you're right you're Jesus I believe your Lord for great things Jesus I know I know I know that your God come on that's right won't you reach over pray for somebody close by you come on let ministering spirits work right now let the Holy Ghost that's right come on speak faith come on trust God yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's right come on in the name of Jesus behind somebody pray with them there is anointing in this room right now in the name in the name in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus you know Bogota oh that's right come on come out deep scroll into deep right now come on your spirit is pushing into the deep right now go into it Lord I'm here to grow in you I'm here to mature and you want to get closer to you come on that's right in the name of Jesus come on make it more than what you feel make it something you know that you're real and it's from him that's right yeah I Love You Jesus I love you Jesus that's right come on pray pray believe trust come on let's try to open your mouth open your mouth praise Him open your mouth bless His name your holy you're holy come on that's right yes yes yes come on that's right come on I tried open your heart to him Jesus I know you are healing right now you are delivering right now you are making a way right now Lord you are doing the work right now that's right come on pray come on pray yeah let the real of a kosher kill her that's right into his presence into his presence hey yeah yeah yeah yeah come on get a hold of somebody else pray with them come on let faith rise in this house right now in the name of Jesus there is healing in this place there is healing in this house yes yes yes we meet you Jesus you're worthy you're worthy you're worthy Jesus you are worthy Jesus you are worthy Jesus you are worthy Jesus you are wonderful Jesus you are glorious Jesus come on that's right press into his presence hallelujah hallelujah yes Jesus I love you yes Jesus I believe you Jesus I trust you that's right Jesus I thank you you are worthy Lord you're worthy Lord you are worthy Lord glory glory glory the name of Jesus the name of Jesus Ho the blood of Jesus oh the blood of Jesus the blood of Jesus there's victory in the name there's victory in the name of Jesus there is joy in the name of Jesus there is peace in the name of the Lord yes Jesus yes Jesus yes Jesus I love you lord I believe in you Jesus oh yeah that's right I love you Savior walking in your presence oh you gotta believe that he knew what he was doing you gotta believe right now he knows exactly what's going on he knows where you are he knows the road you're walking he loves you he loves you he loves you come on one more time before you go home get a hold of somebody wrap your arms around them if it's appropriate pray for come on your loved one to another come on let love abound in this room right now in the name of Jesus that's right get a hold of somebody come on don't stand alone get a hold of somebody yellow shirt ah come on that's right don't stand alone get a hold of somebody pray for them lord I love my brother today I'm thankful for my brother today I'm thankful for my sister today I'm thankful Lord for what you're doing in their lives I'm believing your Lord for great things in them give them courage Lord right now give them strength Lord right now I pray let the joy of the Lord right now be the strength that they need hallelujah to your name Jesus hallelujah to your name Jesus to your name Jesus be all glory and honor be all glory and honor Lord all glory and honor to you Jesus because that we ever got shot over ha ha oh Jesus I thank you for the cross I thank you for the love you Jesus somebody say in Jesus name oh god of glory you are real we are reminded one more time of his plan and his purpose for us our desire to draw closer to him to allow him to work in us now this Wednesday night listen carefully please this Wednesday night here at our church we will have our annual communion service if you consider this to be your church you need to be here you need to be here it's all symbolism I know I understand that it's all something that Jesus did to remind us right but there is something about in the body of Christ remembering together that there is strength there is power there's anointing there's a thority in that so I want to invite you 7 o'clock this Wednesday night to come next Sunday is Easter that's a glorious day I get to rearrange the church for next Sunday I get to pull the swimming pool set it to the side because the tomb is tumors what tomb is empty let's lift our hands and bless the Lord right now thank you Lord for allowing us to be here today for the power of the Holy Ghost that makes the difference thank you I plead your blood lord over each one that's here today I plead the blood of Jesus as we go our separate ways Lord I ask your anointing to rest upon every home on every life let the glory of God Almighty rest upon the church let the witness and testimony of each one Lord be the good things that you have done in us this week Lord we are reminded of your great sacrifice for joy you did it so that salvation could come to humanity we'll love and honor you forever because you are Jesus and we praise you in Jesus name somebody say in Jesus name don't forget into the month as our missions conference if you have questions about that see Lauren Lauren are you here where's Lauren oh she's in such trouble that's my daughter I can get her she's probably on the hall working anyway see her cuz we got food coming that weekend amen
