say it right wow what a decade it has been around us there is a whirlwind of activities it seems that every Sunday we get to come back together and talk about something else that we add to the list or something else that someone else is added to their list and we get to discuss it for a few moments anybody notice the pattern life has appeared to have lost its simplicity thank you brother Gibson for honesty this morning he came in and he and I talked for just a moment this morning early in my office I realized that in our world it's almost like there's a cloud it's almost like a shadow can be felt over our day to day living in our day to day business does anybody identify understand that I don't think that it's oppression y'all listen to preacher for a moment I don't believe it's an oppression but I think that it is a hovering of unknown the longer that things go on the more that you can detect that there is an actual changing in the atmosphere anybody else five would you just throw a hand up and say pastor you're not crazy or pastor you are but I agree with you you can sense something going on now I am NOT here today trying to speak of gloom and doom that is not the message of the day but I do want to let you know that you are not on your own something is happening around us now this is what I'm going to ask you for the now I've been watching the clock I have been going now for three minutes for us clock Watchers if you are in the state of mind right now to identify with what pastor saying the the cloud the the something that you can't really put a finger on I would invite you right now to stand to your feet and to help me pray for clarity in your mind and in your world if it applies to you and there's something about life right now that it's so uncertain I want you to stand to your feet identify with it and I want to help pray with you that God will somehow through all of the stuff speak clarity into your life before we go any further into this message come on pray with me right now spirit of the Living God in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth Lord right now we speak faith into this room I rebuke the enemy that's trying to discourage and distract I plead the blood of Jesus over every blood walk child of God devil you're a liar I want to talk to you and tell you to get the hint there is no weapon formed against us that can prosper but we stand upon the solid rock Christ Jesus and that we build upon that rock and the gates of hell shall not prevail against the rock right now in the name of the Lord I speak clarity of vision I speak playing this of vision right now Lord somebody's coming out of the cloud somebody's coming out of the dark with the clarity of mind I lose in this house I lose in this place right now I loose peace in the Holy Ghost right now in the name of Jesus Christ we worship our way into your presence holy God come on somebody don't stop at the door open it up and walk into the door there is joy there is peace there is hope in the presence of Jesus Christ somebody needs to get in to the presence of the holy God under the crown take away Lord I need you in this hour for the next 30 seconds as loud as you can with all that you've got within you lift up the name of Jesus come on if you've got the holy goat you need to speak in tongues right now let the power of God do something in your life come out twenty more seconds in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus 15 more seconds come on there's worship in the house of the Lord they try come out press press Jesus I'm coming out of it I'm coming out of it restore to me the joy of salvation restore it to me cos I need a smile on my face one more time I need the choice hallelujah before you sit down I want you to plead the blood of Jesus over your mind right now I plead the blood of Jesus I plead the blood of Jesus I plead the blood of Jesus come on right now plead the blood of Jesus over your mind mom and dad if you're standing or sitting next to your kids get a hold of them and plead the blood of Jesus over them plead the power of the name of Jesus over your family right now come on I'm not gonna proceed any further until I get in the presence of a holy God come on somebody move through it in the name of Jesus hallelujah come on come on settle it settle it in your mind there is clarity of purpose I am NOT lost I have not lost my mind I have not lost my family but I stand upon the rock Christ Jesus hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah I press into your presence I run into your presence hallelujah hallelujah I love you today Jesus whoo now somebody shout in Jesus name God is still good his power is not weak nor feeble but he's more powerful and stronger than ever before I speak peace into your spirit right now I speak strength into your troubled mind right now God of glory you are still on the throne hallelujah hallelujah Jesus hallelujah Jesus now listen to me carefully you can sit down if you feel like you need to hmm with all that is happening around us it almost feels out of control that is not true it cannot be true because from the beginning God has had a plan the Bible that you hold in your hand has all somebody better hear the pastor for a moment the Word of God that's in your hand listen to me the Bible that you hold in your hand right now it has already been established every word that has been written is already settled and cannot be changed we are living in the midst of that word from the book of beginnings in Genesis until the book of Judah at the end we are smack dab in the middle of it your life is unfolding right now but we are in that word there's no more to it there is no less to it it is the Word of God it is stablished and we're living in the middle of it there will not be any more letters added to the Bible there will be no more chapters put into the Word of God it is forever in heaven therefore you better understand the word god you're on my side I've read the back of the book and we win you go from Genesis to the book of Jude there is history details God's dealings God's working with humanity then follow me we step from Jude into a revelation that John saw there are things written in Revelation that almost sounds science fiction maybe difficult to even grasp but all of the Word of God is part of the plan of God established from the beginning he will see it through to the end which somebody shall Alpha Omega that is God there is nothing in the Word of God that can pass away all of the stories that are in the Word of God have been proven to be true all of the prophetic has been fulfilled or will be fulfilled understand it there is no thing from the Word of God that can be discarded or thrown out or considered to be meaningless no my friend the word y'all need to hear the preacher right now you think for one moment that you're extra and that you're there and that you're all of that in a box of Cracker Jacks you're not the words forever settled you're in the understanding God had a plan in the beginning he's got something at the end and right in between is where you and I are right now don't you think for one moment that you have surprised God with all of the problems and things going on in your life God is still God so here we are 2020 and things seem to be chaotic almost unhinged it seems that nobody is in control but I assure you that this is not the first time this has happened you okay I'm glad you asked in the Bible the Word of God you can read an account that is very familiar listen to me in the Book of Daniel now anybody understand the Book of Daniel not a whole lot of takers not a whole lot of takers now Daniel by definition the word means God is my judge as a prophet the man Daniel knew his place much of his writings are very abstract almost in an even odd at times because the scripture tells us that he had an incredible insight into the things of God in fact most historians would call the Book of Daniel to be the revelation of the Old Testament days why because the format and the obscure details are speaking of things to come Daniel begins his writing in a history lesson y'all with me for a moment the children of Israel had been taken into captivity into Babylon because of disobedience to the statutes and the laws of God Jerusalem according to the story was overtaken by the Babylonians and certain of the faith ones were brought into the courts of the King Nebuchadnezzar to learn the ways of the pagan kingdom and to pass along the information that they learned to the other captive Israelites Daniel God is my judge but when he came into captivity y'all stay with me for a moment his name was changed to Belteshazzar which means by that definition protect the life of the king he was smart he was wise he could learn very quickly and he was given by God the ability to make friends very quickly his demeanor allowed him to become close to the king's highest members of government thus his Babylonian name was given protect the King Daniel he had three fellow peers that had come from Jerusalem also with him to become a part of that government system was being established and Aniyah was one of them his name means simply this God is gracious but the establishment of the leader of the eunuchs had said in Babylon your name will be called Shadrach and that name means command of the moon-god stay with me another intellectual and smart young man was brought as well his name was Michelle his name meant who is what who is what L is the capital e NL L being the same as yah or Yahweh his name which means who is what L is was changed to Meshach and that means who is as a coup is a who was the Babylonian moon god y'all stay with me another young man was brought in Azariah was his name his name means God has helped but his name was changed to Abednego slave of the God aku the moon God so the account that we see in the Book of Daniel does not look so good at all Daniel Hananiah Mishael Azariah were young men with potential and purpose in Jerusalem but now they have been taken captive they have lost their connection to their God Jehovah living under the watchful eye of the government officials it's amazing how quickly that things changed one day these brothers these people together these ones that were there in the government in Jerusalem they're working hard they're do what they do and all of a sudden things change now they're having to learn a language that makes no sense to them they are studying and they're applying themselves in ways that they never thought learning about strange gods and even stranger powers somebody saying with me Wow things can change now I want you to notice something about these young men in Daniel chapter number one verse number 11 then said Daniel Daniel two Mets are who the Prince of the eunuchs had said over Daniel Hananiah Mishael and Azariah prove thy servants I beseech thee 10 days and let them give us pulse to eat and water to drink everybody say yummy everybody say yummy come on everybody say yummy not so yummy verse 13 then let our countenance be looked upon before thee and the countenance of the children that eat the portion of the Kings meat and housed as thou see us deal with I servant so he consented to them in this better prove them 10 days and verse 15 says and at the end of 10 days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all of the children which did eat the portion of the Kings meat the smells are took away the portion of their meat and the wine that they should drink and gave them pulse listen to me the guys had established that even though they were in the king's house in a strange land learning new systems that they could still remain true to their God I wonder sometimes in 2020 how many of us would have fared that well I mean your captive all of what you knew is gone you're expected to survive and even thrive in a bad situation why not simply give in to the pressure and partake of the pagan God's blessings it is easier to give in to the surroundings than to trust a God of glory will come through for you here what I'm saying Daniel had asked the leader of the house of the King to do to do something different with them the King had said me and dreamed aside listen to this of his table to feed the guys who were captive so that they could learn and study and they could help remove the old systems from the Israelites and teach them the new systems of the Babylonians we don't want to eat and we don't want to drink of your food we don't want the portion of the meat that comes from your table nor the wine that comes from your VAT but instead you give us water to drink and you give us a soup or porridge to eat we have established our line we have declared we are not going to give in to what you are trying to force us to do my question for this hour is simply this what would you have done it would have been easy to apply to stand there next to the overseers and tell them nobody else is watching me nobody else will even know but instead these brethren these men enough they stood firm and they established that we will stand with our God and the story that I simply read to you this afternoon it tells the whole story they were fair and they were fatter they look better and healthier than anything that they had ever seen all those that took portion of the keys' provision I've come to tell you that Daniel Shadrach Meshach Abednego look better after 10 days living in captivity I'm standing here today and I'm simply giving you a testimony of the provision of the hand of God in the worst of conditions I stand at this podium right now and I declare I assure you that if you stand with God you started with Alma don't give up now in the camp of the enemy but know that his word is established he'll never leave you nor forsake you we are living in the midst of his word but you've got to make up with in your mind what you're gonna do the writer of Hebrews said it this way chapter 13 verse number 5 let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have for he have said I will never leave thee nor forsake them so that we may boldly say the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man shall do unto me remember them which have the rule over you who have spoken unto you the Word of God whose faith follow considering the end of their conversation Jesus Christ the same yesterday Jesus Christ the same today Jesus Christ the same forever you can boldly stand in the face of opposition and you can declare the Lord is my helper he is my salvation everything I am comes from him everything I'm not comes from here my I declare world you can go crazy if you want to but as for me in my house we're gonna serve the Lord everything that is taking place right now in our world should not be a surprise to us it really should not shock us if you had all understand the meaning of the word of God the place in which we live the events that's happening around us should not startle you but as much as it appears to be crazy and chaotic as much as it looks like nobody's running the show nobody's driving the boat I've come to tell you now is the time to trust in your God all is not lost everyone else is not doing it the things going on around you are not going to destroy everything but you need to keep your hand in the hand of Jesus Christ the church is victorious know and understand that his blood still washes away sins his spirit still abides and those that are full of him do not give in to the notion that all is hopeless but step my friend you hold on to Jesus he's the one who started it he's the one that's gonna end it he is the first and he is the last he is the Alpha is the Omega he is the beginning and he is the end he's everything in between he's everything there he's inside he's outside he's all over it whoa sometimes I wish I had an old congregation they know that song for the Gibson well it's all over me and it's keeping me alive it's keeping me alive it's keeping me alive it's the Holy Ghost in power and it's keeping me alive Jesus is keeping me alive I bet they know video for that one he still washes away sins he still heals deliver sets free listen to me carefully God has a plan it is working without flaw the question is simply this are we willing to trust his word before those young Hebrew men learned about idolatry and the gods of the Babylonians before those Hebrew men knew who Nebuchadnezzar was in all of the powers and the things that that country stood for before any of that happened history says most likely these young guys would have been teenagers when they were pulled out of out of Jerusalem and taken into captivity young young men me and full of strength men full of understanding their countenance was fair they were beset in Sciences they they knew thing in languages they had and things of the world they had under as young man that's why they were chosen to come and be in the court of Nebuchadnezzar but before they knew anything about the idols of Babylon they knew their God they knew Jehovah Jireh they knew Jehovah Nissi they knew Jehovah Shalom they knew Jehovah what he could do what he had done they knew the stories from their great-great-great grandparents they knew what had happened they knew that God was God and there was no way to change that no matter how big you thought you were or how great they listen they knew the story of the flood everything owners destroyed but God had a plan and it started from there they knew the story of all things considered and they anew you don't matter what you Maddaloni NSYNC I know the God that spoke at all into existence and you can take up the Kings portion if you want to but not for me I'm just gonna live and survive on the understanding of the word of God after everything was settled brother drawing would you come notice what happened here with these guys Daniel chapter number 3 verse number 29 listen carefully therefore I make a decree that every people nation and language would speak anything amiss against the God capital G of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego Shou cut in pieces and their houses shall be made a dunghill because there is no other god big gene that can deliver after this sort then the king promoted Shadrach Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon notice what the king Nebuchadnezzar was trying to do was snuff out those people of God brother Delanie was trying to stop them from doing what they did he brought those young men close to him so that he could change an entire world but instead of that there was some young folks that said I'll not bow to that big Idol I'll not go down on my knees to the things of this world you can call me crazy you can tell me I have to but as for me I believe in Jesus Christ I believe in the power of God Almighty I've come to ask you today does anybody believe that there is victory in Jesus is anybody willing to say I know the world looks crazy and I realize that it's falling apart it appears but one thing I know my God is still on the throne I don't have to wonder I don't have to worry God is still gone who y'all staying with me today god clear away the cloud God clear away the cloud God clear away the confusion push it away God we don't have to protect of the things of this world to find relevance in this world let me tell you something I'm sure all of you or most of you have seen our dear young Victor Jackson standing on the streets of Minneapolis flew from Florida up there stood out on the street or that gentleman lost his life you may watch that excuse day excuse me can I have your attention please I'm gonna Vangelis from Florida and I came here to pray for this city there anybody believed that there's hope for this city anybody hear that being buddy here the noise in the background but what they say yeah and we're gonna pray see the things of the world would have us give up hope and run and hide somewhere or to declare I'm out here and I'm fighting it but the fact of the matter is is you'll never win a battle if you go at it yourself but if you come in the name of the Lord God if you come in the name of the Lord God you better know your God before the god of this world pull you down you better establish within yourself now before the pressures put all out there as for me I'm gonna trust Joe over God I'm not giving in to things of this world although this world appears to be crazy my god is not crazy so on this Sunday I'm asking you do you still believe God will give us the victory do you still believe that God has a plan he can give victory come on there's horrible terrible things going on we all agree with it it breaks our heart it ought to break your heart what humans do to one another but you need to know something friend we wrestle not against flesh and blood its flesh and blood that we see that's right but there's a match going on principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places we're not afraid of that come on if we give in to that fear and you get into what the world trying to tell you to do you're gonna be lost as last year's Turkey but I'm telling you if you fall in love with the master and let him know come what may I'm a child of God happens whatever happens I've come to worship the Lord and they might be rioting in the streets and they might be doing whatever on the streets and it appears out of control in my spirit I'm still communing with the master and I don't have to be afraid I don't have to stay in the closet I can come out on the street and I can declare that says the word of the Lord if you will humble yourself and pray and turn from your wicked way things will happen when you pray if you believe that your hope is in Jesus and victory comes in the name of Jesus I want to invite you one more time to this altar get out of the chair where you're sitting and make a declaration I'm going to the altar with the determination come on you might be here right now and you have yet to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost I want you to know it begins with repentance Lord I'm sorry please forgive me I'm turning around from the life that I've lived and I'm looking for answers that come from you he can feel you with the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost evidence speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance you can be baptized in the only saving name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins right now I want you to begin to pray and call on the name of the Lord lift your hands to him lift your voice to it come on mom and dad help your kids understand Jesus is the answer come on young people you run to God you run to God you run to him he's your answer you let the Spirit of the Lord lead you right now come on there's victory in Jesus Chewbacca shut up aha there is victory in Jesus there is victory in Jesus there is victory in Jesus there is victory in Jesus victory is in Jesus right now it's prayer time come on open your mouth to begin to pray right now open your mouth and begin to pray Jesus I love you I believe you I trust you need I need you my soul says yes to you my heart says yes to you no I don't know what's going on but I know that you're still gone and you're still on the throne I'm not sure what's gonna happen tomorrow but you're still God and victory comes in your name if you're comfortable with that reach over pray for somebody close by me miss come on Pete the Jesus in the name of Jesus there is power in the name of Jesus there is healing in the name of Jesus there is hope in the name of Jesus there is salvation in the name of Jesus there is no other name but the name of Jesus there's no other name but the name of Jesus only Jesus can add is fine only Jesus can work for miracle only Jesus only can do the work it is all in him it is all in here aha it is all in him it is all in Jesus it is all in Jesus come on somebody run into his presence I've come to bless your name I've come to worship your name to magnify your name come on in Jesus name come on in Jesus name in Jesus name in Jesus they come out pray come on call on the name of the Lord Devils lying I know is the name in the name let's write that's right that track colognes press into his presence I've come to love you she says I've come to believe in you cheese's uncover glorify you Jesus God your God your God your cup o you're well able more than Abel more than hail Jesus you can do it you can do anything in the name of Jesus in the name of cheese actually come on come on get a home so many play with let God arise let the Word of God in your life in the name of Jesus the name of Jesus I believe you for the miraculous victory in the name of Jesus there is victory in the name of Jesus holy holy holy God holy God holy God worthy is your name that's right that's right that's right a company awarded faithfully in faith believing Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus yes you are there is clarity there is clarity in the name of in the name of there is power in your in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus let's ride come on in the name of Jesus let's ride in the name of Jesus they're sealing in this place right now if you have a scene in your body in your mind throw your Jesus your only hope is in Jesus Christ never forget this week his word is forever settled the only way that those young Israelites could declare that God would somehow see them through was by making the declaration God is with us now today if you'll notice I did not take the time to finish the story of these youngins because we all think that the fiery furnace is super cool anybody man you can walk around in their ropes burn but you don't see I can't explain that one can you I can't explain how that Nebuchadnezzar would say the fourth one looks like I can't explain to you the other young fella open this window like always Josh and prayed somebody got mad threw him in a den of lions the Bible doesn't say Daniel went in kicking and screaming he went in they closed it up and I dare say that Nebuchadnezzar had enough worry going on for both of them the Bible says he didn't sleep he couldn't rest he was worried concerned the next day the breaking of the day what'd he do he didn't send a messenger he didn't send a servant just that he went move that rock out of the way Daniel are you in there no little king all right now goodness gracious I worried for nothing get him out of there y'all want to talk about a king it ain't me but it is where I gonna teach these boys nothing we're gonna let them teach us come on oh god help me not to start over y'all need to know the Lord has a plan he's right on time and although it you can't make sense of something what's going on he's Alpha and Omega stay with him first and last get a hold of him pray with her right now Lord we love you we declare your glory in this place victory comes in your name Jesus I am so thankful Lord for the opportunity to gather today in this house with my brothers and sisters my family lord I thank you for that for our guests that have come lord I thank you that they've come today as we go our separate ways this week god I plead your blood over every single one of us we go under the power of the Holy Ghost and the Word of God and we believe Lord Jesus whatever happens tomorrow you already know about it and we choose to trust you we choose to embrace you Jesus and move as you move go as you go and speak as you speak in your name I love you I trust you for great things give us Direction give us wisdom this week we honor and trust you and believe your Lord in Jesus name we pray somebody say Amen
