come on lift your hands right now to Heaven I thank you Lord for your love I thank you Lord for what you're doing in my life thank you Lord God Hallelujah pray with me Church Lord one more time we come to you humbly Lord Jesus just to be able to speak Your Name Lord what a great honor what a great honor it is pour out of your glory and your spirit today Lord in this room as we go to your word I make myself one more time available to you Jesus I so need you speak into our lives today God speak into our hearts today Jesus let us thirst for you and hunger for you and your presence in our lives yes Jesus come on are you thankful for the goodness of the Lord go ahead give him praise before you sit down come on love the Lord before you sit down I love you Jesus worthy worthy worthy worthy Worthy wory oh glorify the name of the Lord I welcome you here today thank you brother donon thank you singers musicians thank you to all the teachers and staff all the helpers and all the really cool amazing things that you guys do would you give yourself a hand today come on there's a lot of folk involved here parking lot Watcher outers and coffee Setter uppers and banner taker downers good thing we don't have name tags it' all be messed up you know the I'm the taker Downer well I'm the put her outer I'm the set her uper and I don't know to all of our guests to those online watching we are so honored you're here today aren we glad our guests are here so glad you're here today you may be seated if you feel like you have to it's so good to be in the house of the Lord welcome welcome all of you to another year filled with ideas filled with purpose 2024 is a new opportunity just to do stuff how's that turn to your neighbor and say just do stuff oh I'm sorry turn to your neighbor and say do good stuff probably need to clarify a little more right I want you to understand that God does have a plan for our church and we as a church desire to follow God's plan that all right all right look at Hayden and Courtney we're glad look at here here we got come here guys come on I'm gonna get to the word of the Lord Courtney that's got your name on it you've been baptizing Hayden baptize in Jesus name God's going to fill him with the Holy Ghost right right here buddy oh he's busy he's still busy come on don't turn me down thank you thank y'all God is doing a work in that family and we're thankful for that as we closed out 2023 I want you all to R understand and recognize that it was a great year for CAC amen we've already mentioned it once last service somebody received the gift of the Holy Ghost God's confirmation he's still moving in blessing first service baptism in Jesus name God still moving God's still moving God's still moving again and again and again this past year 2023 our church was able to purchase 12 acres over on gry road somebody shout amen amen come on God's got good things in store for the future over there he we also moved locations again and we already know it ain't the last one right we saw growth in every Department camps our kids attended Celebrate Recovery started they've got new folks coming every week come on somebody we've got new new musicians and singers that are connecting in the department we've got homeschoolers that meet here every month or meet somewhere connected to hear we had several baptized in the name of Jesus several received the gift of the Holy Ghost come on somebody we've had new families that have connected with CAC our connect groups are sprouting new wings with new groups because God is adding to the church so many Ministries here at CAC are thriving and growing more and more are involved D more and more need to be involved all right CAC we got a lot of activities going on I don't know if you're aware of this but for a church our size there's a million eight things to be involved with see y'all take this for granted but you go to some other church I ain't talking about it but some ain't doing nothing I mean nothing sorry ain't that we're doing everything thing we're trying right they're trying I believe God is blessing those in this hour that will hunger and thirst for more of him make note please allow me just a few moments to make some declarations here Hope Ministries Justin where you at Chessie raise your hand Hope Ministries these guys take care of Celebrate Recovery they take care of Bible study stuff they take care of the room at the end they do a whole lot of stuff y'all give them a hand Hope Ministries right here all right that's enough music brother drw stand for me brother Don's over our music Ministry doesn't he do a fabulous job him in his group every week every week Christian education brother Daniel sister Jennifer stand up come on they make sure we have classes and teachers and staff prepared for that thank you guys media and production Dylan you're supposed to come out of the room there there we go there's a hand media and production over there every come on this stuff isn't easy to do come on it takes time and talent thank you guys Men's Ministry Josh Ray throw your hand come on stand Josh helping us with our Men's Ministry sister Mandy with our ladies Ministry come on yes we're thankful for that Prayer Ministry sister Stacy thank come on Stan she's helping us pray uh Guest Services brother Dan sister Ken y'all stand wave your hand there you go thank you guys so much youth Ministries brother Seth over there where's your other half give me a minute yeah supposed to bring him to church Seth all right man he still ain't got that lesson they're sick today little ones are thank you say inside listen every one of these groups a million other things happening so many folk that are connected and helping and and assisting listen when my wife and I came here 17 years ago we prayed God send us workers people that'll plug in and work and look at What the Lord Has Done Look What the Lord Has Done now I don't mind saying Lord we're now at a place our church is growing we need millionaires now come on somebody he can send workers all right okay if y'all don't want to be the giver fine without you all it just would not happen God blesses everybody that's involved here at Cornerstone from my wife and I Michelle and I we want to say a big thank you we do we want to say a big thank you to all of you I love you guys and I'm so proud of what God's doing in your lives God is moving in such great things healing transformation is happening in so many lives in here testimonies and and the goodness of the Lord is being talked about because of what God is doing in your life I want you to know that I believe God has bright future for every one of you come on clap your hands you believe that God is moving in your lives as we grow and Advance the kingdom 2024 I need everybody to help me please could you put my verse on the screen everybody ready for it you already know this one by heart will you read it out loud with me Matthew 633 but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you first the kingdom that's our 2024 theme for this year y'all know that Pastor does themes we've got monthly themes and I like to stay on track so that things can be repeat it and help us to get it last year was accelerate we moved one place to the next in so many areas this year we're going to focus and we're going to seek the plan of God and put him first in all things how many believe there are things that we need seek first the kingdom he'll add these things now you may already have everything if that's the case you're welcome to slip on out right now but I don't I want to see the miraculous happen I want to see the outpouring I want to see moving of the spirit of God in every single heart we will seek his face first what does he want where does he want us to go who is he looking for for us to take this plan to them when should we act how should we respond how do we move forward all the points that we will consider this year here first the kingdom we're going to trust that God is giving us answers and solutions for everything that we need here at Cornerstone Apostolic Church listen carefully please in the context of Matthew chapter 6 you got to understand something these followers of Jesus these are the first group of Believers that are connecting with who Jesus is they had several things that came up in conversation if you get time I want you to read Matthew chapter 6 and this is what you'll discover what shall we eat what what what are we going to wear what what are we going to drink I mean you know we're we're out here doing the things that you're asking us to do and Jesus was so profound in his explanation to them he he simply says he says don't worry because worrying doesn't add anything to your stature worrying does not add anything to how big or small you are don't worry about don't concern yourself with keeping up with the rest of the world notice the lies of the field he brings nature to it and says look how they they thing they they grow they spin they they're just out here in the middle but they don't worry about anything they simply show their Glory even more so than Solomon's Temple do you see that what about the birds that fly they don't wonder where the next Harvest is going to come from they don't go out and plant seed hoping that they've tilled the ground sufficient enough what do they do they let God provide for them Jesus then declares how much more come on if he can take care of the lies and he can take care of the the bird then he can surely take care of you and and the whole context here is that you and I we have a really good opportunity at any given turn and any given day to worry are there any worriers in the house today come on identify it's okay any worriers yeah there you go then how many are worried about being a worrier oh come on how many's worried about somebody else knowing you're a worrier you see how vicious that cycle is come on worriers worry about worrying but what you and I can learn from this context and from what we're going to describe talk about every week every every month of this year is we have to learn to love him first we've got to learn to praise him first we've got to learn to wor worship him first we have to learn to serve him first we have to learn to please him first and all these other things the the reignment what you wear the food the drink where you go what you do he will add it he will make it happen some way shape or form why because God has a plan for the church God has a plan for your life and for mine the other side of this plan is that if if you don't have to worry then you will have to trust him understand that we are embarking on something that simply will put us into a position to trust him because of celebrate recovery on Tuesday nights and because of the material I am also now drawn into this brother Horton just so you know that I have to give you a word and then I have to give you some meanings of the letters of the word called a but some of y'all right now are like I don't know what he said I'm gon write it down go look it up we're gonna come on Tuesday we're going to trust this year somebody say trust trust T we're going to talk to Jesus we're gonna pray without ceasing come on we're going to talk to him or we're going to Rejoice every day with what the Lord is doing in our lives somebody say I'm going to talk to him and I'm going to Rejoice come on you we're going to use what he gives us and we're going to trust that it's enough to do what he's asking us to do amen we're going to talk to him we're going to Rejoice every day we're going to use what he gives us s we're going to serve him with gladness the early church served with gladness it was even considered to be singleness of heart we're going to draw together in the same belief and we're going to trust that God is going to make way guess what the last te is no we're going to take away from this Earth as many as will go to heaven with us come on come on we're going to take as many with us to Heaven why because we're going to trust him we're going to talk to him we're going to Rejoice we're going to use what he gives us we're going to serve him and then we're going to take as many with us what am I trying to tell you this year in 2024 we have to understand something God has put us in this place for this reason for this generation thank you Lorden for reminding us earlier in our prayer time if we will apply what we learn from the lessons that we're going to learn if we will allow the kingdom of God to be first in our life I am convinced answers will come in this new year I want to emphasize a few things I want to help you in this Vision casting service for this year we are trying our best to better prepare for the future and what God has for us at CAC we're trying to move from one plane to another from one level to to the next we're trying to grow and to have as many folk involved with us come on if you're involved in one of the Departments I mentioned earlier would you wave your hand and say thank you Lord that I'm involved come on come on give him thanks thank you Lord that I'm involved in one way shape or form beginning this year beginning right now the first of the year I as your pastor I will assume the role as senior pastor my focus will be on the areas that only I can focus on as pastor there's a lot of things Michelle and I have learned through the years and now we're learning we can't do it all and it's time to transition so I will develop and grow others I will make the mission of CAC Paramount and all that we do as senior pastor I will do everything that I can do to make sure that I do what only God has called me to do also beginning now the first of this year Brother Sam hoden would you stand for the Sam will become our executive Pastor what that means his Focus along with Lauren you can stand baby because you hold him up you're the shorter one their their focus will be the development and the direction y'all listen to pastor's heart they will be responsible for the development and the direction of the next generation of leaders you understand what that means that means it takes generational leadership and there are ways that I don't know how I'm going to help him and he's going to there turn and help others he's going to focus on areas of ministry here in the church he's going to assist and help me with you ready for construction and development of our new facility huh the Lord convicted me about a year ago if you build this new facility the Lord helped me to do that one over on iigo Gap anybody recall anything about it I could smell the carpet I saw the colors I felt I felt the chairs when I before anything happened God gave me the vision for that I figured out somehow some way how to paint it how to hang it how to lay it down how to pick it up the Lord help I didn't I'm here we go let's give it a swing and Look What the Lord did and the Lord was so kind to us to let us occupy that place and then the Lord's plan changed I want you to look around where you are right now do you realize in that building we would not fit today Look What the Lord Has Done you understand that God knew what it was going to take for now so thank you guys over there stand keep standing please also in helping me for the future I've asked brother Dan Gibson to help me and he will be my administrative pastor his Focus along with sister Karen will be the connections and the moving parts of the church the planning the processes the Departments how they function together what they do how they move forward how they what how he's going to help me with that he's got years of experience and I'm I'm depending on gray hair to help me in a lot of these areas yeah y'all wonder why I got gray hair thank y'all very much just so y'all know my wife had it when we when never mind when I came on the scene the Lord began to just worry her no joking the three of us thank you thank you guys the three of us we will make up what is considered the Pastoral team of Cornerstone Apostolic church that might not mean anything to you guys but it means a lot to me there's no greater fear for a pastor to not know what's next but I want for God to allow our church to grow mature and move forward and that's what's happening in this age I'm excited about that I'm not going anywhere sh and I love Chattanooga we are here we are going to Pastor we're going to love it's just in the transition I believe Jesus gave us a whole lot of reference to I can take care of 12 and I can multiply them so they can multiply others you see how that works and I believe that there are times for things I don't want to be caught in a position to where the church has to be forced to make decisions that I didn't help to make y'all understand where I'm at so the Church pastoral team we're going to work together as the church grows I fully expect y'all listen to me will K it's 1:14 for us clockwatchers the God God has given me a vision and a direction for the next building and the next complex I don't know if it's going to come to pass or not I'm believing God's going to help us do it but if I'm doing it and it's the last two Rock because it takes 10 years to get it done shame on me for not planning for the Next Generation I'm trying to that's why I need input from you younger guys you know if it was up to me I'd still have sign up sheets on the hallway on paper and Pen somebody said a do a doogle doent or Google Documents the way to go I don't know how that works all I know is Sam can you do that for me Michelle and I we're we're notorious for middle of the night Sam I don't know how to do this can you just I got you and it shows up you understand God's helping us transition listen L to me carefully sh and are not going anywhere we simply want to help the Next Generation pick it up and continue to move it forward we love Chattanooga and we're here until the Lord says elsewise is that okay part of the moving forward listen to me this is Vision 2024 we are adding to our leadership very important department for our church listen to me carefully for the past 18 months or so Seth and Kristen artiaga they have very very lovingly and capably led our young people our youth department and they've done a fabulous job with our young folk there he is there he is stand up Seth stand up in fact come here buddy come here please come on come on you got that wind blown look going on they have served with Excellence I've asked for Seth to help me in a new area and he is so nervous I said brother Seth we've got Hispanic folk coming into our church Spanish speakers and I can't get to them all I need help when Michelle and I talked to him his precious wife looked at him and said see I told you listen to me so few weeks ago Seth and I sat and we've talked multiple times over the last you know I mean he's not he's almost hundred cry out loud he's yeah they can't see the gray hair gotta when I when I shared with him my vision and what I felt like the Lord was leading us at CAC Seth looked at me and said I said what' your wife say he said she she was said okay H it's a little okay he and then he said she went and downloaded an app to learn Spanish I can't tell y'all what that means to me for somebody to say there's a soul that needs heaven and we're going to do our part now thank you buddy thank you now they're going to continue to lead for a short time but I want to introduce to you guys today brother George and sister Bethany new would y'all stand precious young Couple come on come on let's welcome them the Cornerstone that's right now I this is this is they come from good stock they've had their shots and they got all their teeth I I I've prayed my wife and I have sought the Lord for a year or so cuz we we knew Seth and Kristen could do whatever but it's not fair for them to have kids in the group and them trying to lead you know what I'm saying it's and then for some reason they keep growing their family so it's a greater challenge so so I talked to a lot of pastors we've called Bible schools trying to find somebody that can help us with this and month or so ago I called a friend over in Murphysboro Kevin Allen and I said bro I just and I've already talked to him two or three times and he's like I got I don't got I don't know talk to other friend I just need somebody that can just kind of help as young work in the last conversation he and I had on the phone is he said now hang on a minute I do have a couple that the Lord just laid on my heart time to find out the Lord had already been doing the work we just didn't know how the dots would connect is that fair and they wouldn't listen to God so we had to not true but they come with such high regards the church has already prayed for them in Murphysboro to let them come out now this is your challenge as a church family y'all listen to pastor and y'all can sit just a minute God is doing a work in them people are speaking into their lives now we don't know how this will all turn out but they're transitioning so there's going to be a time of transition few months here to get one moving the other going and so it's going to it's going to work out I am excited when they come and I say so how's it going man we got so many notes so many great keep writing them keep writing them submit them to the question box they said well where's that I'm we find it we'll let you know you can y'all can be seated they're so kind they're they're going to be they they have the full support of their Pastor in church they're they're going to come in they're going to help our teenagers and our hying group and I have such great great faith that God is going to bless them can we once again welcome them to Cornerstone yes every one of our departments they are moving forward the spirit of God is moving listen Pastor for 2024 we still need people involved now can I Pastor you for just a few moments would y'all listen to me for just a moment y'all see my heart you understand where I'm from from right some of you have gotten lazy some of you have gotten to a place in your walk with God that you backed away gently and ever so gently you've decided you know what they can move without me they can go forward with I don't need to be involved and the Lord is sitting there saying I didn't bring you here for you to leave I brought you to this place to help the Next Generation some of y'all need to get up some of y'all need to get up and do what the Lord is asking you to do do what the Lord has put in you is that okay we need more singers and musicians Don tells me and I I had some more musicians man if I had more singers now he's got a limited stage to work with but man he's ready to train I young come on Wednesday night watch some of these young folks amen the Lord's blessing but he needs more helpers we we need we need some y'all ready I I need a a family a couple that's dedicated consecrated I need you to step up and say pastor I will do kids church on Wednesday nights we might have to shut that down because we've got where people are scrambling ah I don't that's a that's a commitment I'm fine I bet you're committed to your job come on God's given skills and talents I need somebody that'll step up and say Pastor I'm willing to take care of kids church I can lead them I can help I can put together curriculum is that true we need somebody that'll help now for January we got somebody but for February we don't know can somebody you understand where I'm coming from we need help in that area we need here's one of the most thankless jobs we need folk that security take care of the parking lot cars that just sit there huh now if some of y'all get parking lot dude you ain't because we ha hate you or we think that's all you can do is watch a parked car listen to me ain't one of you sitting in here would love to go out after church and find your car has been broken into am I right oh wouldn't that be joyful look at there got $900 windshield that's so good I'm so glad nobody's watching it you'd want somebody am I right come on we need help in that department we we need help with hostesses and greeters sister Renee is the face of the greeters but she's we got two doors now that we're trying to cover we got people going out we got folks coming in we're trying to watch both we need help in that department amen hey can I we need media marketing help it takes ton I think Dylan and I think they said there's 100 plus pages that they had to do to get all this up and running to where your app works for you that didn't just fall out of there the app Sky somebody had to sit down and for hours and hours they had to dig that out and make sure the colors match and the you understand what I'm saying we need helping we need teachers and helpers that are with all these new classes and when I mentioned to to the leadership that I feel like that we need to have all this on Sundays and Wednesdays they just poor brother Daniel went and sister Jennifer with her just graceful face she went pastor we need teachers for that stuff well I said I know go get them but listen to me I I believe God prepares us for the kingdom for such a time as we live in we're finalizing listen to this we're finalizing right now Cornerstone Christian Academy it's going to be our preschool over on the new property on gry road go I mean there's so much labor and work to be done over there but God is going to allow listen to me we are going to do that not because it's a cool thing to do but anybody here watching the putting their finger on the pulse of what our school systems going through are you hearing what I'm saying we need we need Christian Apostolic Holy Ghost filled teachers and those that will invest in these three four and five year olds come on it don't just happen by a mosis it's going to take people plugging into them and we're working on the final hopefully very soon we'll have that up and running you know what that means that means financially givers need to step up I'm willing to support it financially I'm willing to do what God is requiring us to do listen to me carefully one more thing John chapter n we okay it's 125 your coupons are good till three we're okay ver chap John chapter 9 verse one and as Jesus passed by listen to this carefully please he saw a man which was blind from birth and his disciples asked him listen to this conversation master who did Sin this man or his parents that he was born blind verse three Jesus answered neither hath the man sinned nor his parents listen but the works of God should be made manifest in him I I must work the works of him that sent me while it is day the night cometh when no man can work verse five as long as I am in the world I am the light of the world when he had thus spoken he spat on the ground made a clay in the spittle and Anointed The Eyes of the blind man with the clay said unto him go wash in the pool of Salam which is interpretation sent he went his way listen what happened therefore and washed and came seeing on this vision fting Sunday I want you to understand that Jesus was developing and working with a group of followers disciples those who were interested in all that Jesus had to pour into them and their question was simply this where did the sin start in this man was it this man was it his parents what happened in this man's life that this poor guy would be born blind you and I have had that question multiple times haven't we in our lives Lord what what this guy or this lady or this family Do Lord they deserve what's happening to them because of all the are you with me we we pass judgment very quickly on folks sometimes listen to me carefully right now for the next few moments Jesus teaches a lesson right here and he simply tells them but that the works of God should be made manifest in him we are living in a day honestly that we have no explanation for a whole lot of things that's going on and you and I can be very quick to say if they weren't such Sinners or they're unhappy or they're so corrupt or they're so whatever they wouldn't have this situation going on I believe that we reap what has been sown anybody believe that but I come to declare to somebody in 2024 that the point is not here the sin the point is is that Glory comes to God when that sinner makes a change when there is transformation that happens in the life of that person Glory Glory comes to God some of you right now maybe even the last seven days have actually said from your mouth why is God forsaken me or why am I feeling or why am I going through why am I struggling what's God trying to do to me and the fact of the matter Still Remains Glory goes to God when we recognize him in everything that we do the point of this simply is this God has plans for Chattanooga God has plans for Chattanooga I believe there's a church coming up out of the out of the ashes if you will of the mess of this world and folk are going to come and they're going to wonder how can I find this what and you're going to stand there and you possibly can say you know what they made choices they did they did they that and so forth and you would be right to do so but I've come to declare that if the Kingdom of Heaven is going to grow it's going to be because you and I believe you know what it wasn't about what they did or what parents did or what was dealt to them but but the fact is God's going to get Glory out of this situation I'm believing that you can do the wrongest most decrepit thing in your life but God can get Glory out of it come on such were some of you some of you were strung out on drugs some of you should have been lost buried in a grave some of you should have been washed away and forgotten about some of you your life was meaningless and you had no reason to even stand up and make a declaration but the grace and the mercy of God has swept into your life and the blessing of God has said you know what there's a reason you went through what you did but right now it's not about that it's about what I did on a cross of Calvary I died on that cross and I took on every sin of humanity to say I don't know nothing about it but I'm going to take it on why because I'm going to make a way for where I am you can be there also in 2024 we're going to put the kingdom first God what are you saying to us Lord we believe you that Revival is for our city an outpouring is for our families uh an infilling Lord God is for our church as we Embark in 2024 we will do so with conviction and confidence that God is with us just stand with me all across the room we began the journey this past Monday with the book blessed I I do trust that you are reading your daily devotion you're finding time to talk with God I do hope that the words that are in that little simple book will convict your heart and prick your heart and put you in a position to where you begin to seek for God's favor in this hour I do hope that it will help you develop a daily prayer prayer time I do trust that you will give space for God to speak to you I do believe that you will still look forward at Heaven I fear that in our hour some have forgotten Heaven some have forgotten the end result is the end goal is the end purpose is heaven I want you to understand friend that if we seek first the kingdom all the things that we desire God will make provision for and you notice Pastor do not misquote me do not do not Chop this up and cut it down to fit your social media page would you listen to me I did not say God will give you every little whim and everything you ask for because the fact remains is some of you couldn't handle what you're asking for and it is Grace that keeps it out of your hand I know right now beyond a shadow of Doubt some of you are praying for financial blessing and you don't do well with what you've got why would God give you a million dollars he already knows you'd destroy you yourself and everything about you but what God can do is daily give you the strength to work to provide and as you support the things of God God will bless you Heaven is still there anybody want to make Heaven your home anybody hungry in a place called Heaven why don't you slip both hands in the air right now Lord we are looking for Heavenly places God of Glory we are hungry for you Lord we want to make Heaven our home we want you God to work in our lives Lord we want to see this year at our church Lord heaven to be expounded upon Lord talked about more and more because as the day approaches Lord we've got to make preparations for that come on somebody first the kingdom put him first Lord I put you first in my life come on I put you first in my family I put you first in my day Lord I talk to you before I talk to anyone else in all of my trials and tests and tribulations and issues I I talk to you about them Lord I'm trusting you with them Jesus yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I'm trusting you with it Jesus glory to your name Hallelujah Jesus listen to me carefully before we pray before we spend time in the altar listen please this hour in which we live will demand our best you cannot haphazardly live for God you can't simply go through motions you can't check the box and hope that you make it but it's going to take a madeup determination say God what do you want first where are you God what are you saying what are you doing what is what is your mind right now I look for that first then all these things will be added this altar is open open right now for any prayer warriors it's 134 anybody just want to come Lord help me start this year on the right step help me Lord to find you right now Jesus to put it all into perspective come on somebody would you come and pray come on you already know the mess you can make why don't you let God have that and Lord help me this day help me Lord this week help me Jesus to find your will Lord for for my life come on somebody pray God I need you Lord I'm trusting you with it come on somebody Lord I'm believing you for it you are God you are God you are God you are God you are God you are God oh come on that's right Lord I'm trusting you with it I need you Jesus I surren to you oh come on that's right come on find the Lord I I'm calling on you Jesus we're going to do it right Lord according to your word come on according to your promises Jesus according to your promises Jesus I Sur I need you Lord I Trust You Lord I Trust You Lord I trust you Jesus come on that's right God's doing a work in your life thank him for ity
