would you pray with me church together lord we we come to bless your name to worship you thank you so much for the church for the body of christ today lord we have prayed together we have sung the songs of zion together we have believed together for heavenly things right now lord we go to your word knowing god that it is life it holds the truth for us and now more than ever before we desperately need you lord i make myself available to you one more time jesus i love you and i trust you do you sing that with us together to worship you i live to worship you i live i live to worship you anybody believe that today would you say it again come on in harmony to worship you i live to worship you i live i live to worship you there's a moving of the spirit in this place why don't you do that right now worship his name come on lift your voice to him we love you jesus come on lift your voice to him church we live to worship and lift you up jesus i will bless the lord at all times your praise lord god will continually be in my mouth my soul will make his boast in the lord in the lord come on in the lord jesus i love you lord and i trust in you today glorify your name we magnify your name holy one man i love you jesus i love you jesus i magnify your name king of glory oh come on somebody magnify him hallelujah blessed be the rock of our salvation the strong tower we love you today you're thankful for the word of the lord the power of the spirit of the word amen god has been good to us you may be seated if you feel like you have to again i thank all of these singers and musicians and teachers thank you again to the church family for your kindness to my wife and on to my daughter thank you all so much 783 137 words 31 102 verses 929 chapters 66 books all of this makes up what we call the king james version of the bible that we read a book that is still on the top selling books having sold to date over 5 billion copies the writing of the book covered approximately one thousand and five hundred years the bible has been translated into more languages than any other book it sits on more shelves it is read more often it is carried to more places the contents of that book occupies more conversations it is mentioned in more settings than we can even imagine the bible everybody say it the word of god the word of god as we sit here in this room today we continue to believe and to follow the great words of this group of historical accounts and letters written as the plan of god for the sake of humanity this bible has been the mainstay hear this of education and science throughout all the generations it's a powerful book literally it can change the world for those who will simply read it believe it and apply its principles hebrews has in its letters in chapter number 4 verse number 12 for the word of god is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and the joints and morrow and it is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart the word of god is power no matter what generation that you live in no matter what language or tongue that you read or that you speak if you can get the bible into the atmosphere it will do its work just reading the word releases a spiritual working in the people that are in the place where that word is read multiple testimonies have surfaced from those who simply read scripture in a situation and the actual atmosphere change in that situation come on if you can get the word of god into a situation you can read it you can breathe it from your memory you can read from it you can get in an assembly and read it you can read it on the street corner you can read it in a plaza you can read it in a palace you can read it in a prison cell it can be in a communist nation it can be at a five-star resort it can be in a rain forest it can be at a mountain retreat if you'll get the word of god where people are there is power and something will transpire come on as an apostolic church we understand the potential of the word of god the word of god the word of god i stand at this podium today and the unction of the lord i have felt it all night long yesterday i tried to shake it and it kept coming back the understanding here simply is this the word of god of is a preposition it is formulated so that you can understand that the word is of god when you understand that the word of god is god when you understand that the bible you hold it so dear to your heart what you are hugging up against is god because the writer john said it this way in john chapter 1 in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god the same was in the beginning with god all things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made in him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not the word there is the lord god i'm telling you you get the word in any of your life problems and the word will do its some of y'all have negated the power of the word you're going to help books you're going to dr so-and-so you need to get in the word and let the word of god do what it can do there's more power in those 700 000 words than you'll ever get on a channel or youtube video you get the word alive you breathe it in your home you breathe in your workplace and god will change the atmosphere the word of god the word was with the word was god is that word if man could really grab onto the word and believe it for all the power that is within it today this day is there anybody here that has breathed the word of god in your circumstance you know there's a lot of translations there's a lot of interpretations of the bible word of god hear me in an attempt to help men better understand it they have begun to change so that you and i can grasp what it means stay with me but in doing so in an attempt to help men better understand the facts are men have become more and more confused because they have removed the context for much of the word while trying to get to understand the word the fact of the matter is hear this if you'll read the word and the context of the word you'll understand it because god is the word i ask anybody in here today listening to my voice or online is there any way that you can describe god with your own words is there any way that you can make someone else understand god with your interpretation of him you'll come up short every time come on it's like trying to explain to somebody the holy ghost well all i know is it's all over me and it's keeping me alive it's what the old timer said and some of y'all like what's that mean i'll tell you what it means it means when you get up in the morning it's all over you when you're in the middle of the battle it's all over you when you don't know what else is going on it's all over you and it's keeping you alive i wonder today do we still believe the word of god is powerful and sharp and able to do its job or have we negated it by trying to get that one-minute sermon in on on a monday morning to say lord if you could just somehow some way help me through i'm here to tell you some of y'all got issues at home you need to dig out your word dust it off and say sit down we're going to the word why because god is the word and if we'll unfold the word god will show up some of your jobs are disasters you need to get the word on your job that's right read about him on the on the assembly line get out your bible at your desk and begin to feel the atmosphere with the word find out what happens when you release the word of god into your situation in an effort to understand many have changed the meanings of words to try to better understand it and in doing so they now have more questions please understand please listen to me the bible that we have it is what we have to live by it has to be working and living in our everyday life the word of god has to have a place of reverence in your families and in your lives i've heard the old-timers say time and time again you know what there's something to be said about simply getting the bible off the shelf and just flipping through its pages with a little bit of respect and reverence and a little bit of honor to the word believing full well that if god put this into motion for us then surely god is on the throne today able to take care of our circumstances now i brought this bible from my office at the house and this particular bible some of you may remember it it looks like this some of y'all i know this is like a bible this was the bible that we read from cover to cover when we dedicated our church over there on i go gat road it sits in my office uh every time i get i don't hardly ever touch it because i don't want to mess it up but inside here i have the the schedule of of that service and i have what we did when we dedicated that some of y'all that might not mean a thing but i'm here to tell you if you were in a prison camp somewhere in north vietnam and you needed something and you got out a bible and you began to read it you just asked those pows how'd you survive it's because i had some verses in my memory and i would quote them hey if you don't know the power of that word you ask those who were stuck in a communist nation and somebody mailed them two pages out of a bible and the only thing they could do is read those over and over and over again and somehow some way god moved in their circumstance see you and i got bibles on our phones we got bibles on our ipads we got bibles on our watches we got bibles that come up everywhere and every time and a lot of them there are translations they are meanings they are hopeful to try to help you and believe me i'm not knocking any of that but i've come today in this hour to this generation to declare it's time to get back to the word and to realize god there is power in your word if we're ever going to have revival in chattanooga it's when the heart of man says give me your word lord god let my heart run towards it let my mind wrap itself around it come on the bible oh somebody hear the preacher today the bible has survived more than you and i'll ever know it has survived fires it has survived floods it has survived shipwreck it survived famine it survived harvest it survived the planting season it survived vacations it survived work days it's been found in farms it's been found in caves it's been found in palaces jail cells war zones and battlefields come on you can hear it being red on stages on tv sets on skid row and on the movie sets that's right the bible is the most talked about positive and negative that's ever hit humanity hear this today it has talked around of coffee tables talked about in the lunchroom talked about at the launch pad talked about it office parties assembly line break time and so forth and so on even december the 24th 1968 three astronauts from space on apollo 8 red genesis 1 through genesis 1 through 10 and from space they read it hear what i'm saying there was an atheist group in that day that got all mad and stood up and filed a lawsuit and every judge they took it to denied the right you ain't gonna bring that in here people are able to read what they want to read it even went to the supreme court somebody and the supreme court said we'll not hear it why because it is the word it is the power of the word some of us today will sit and say yeah if they were to try to do that today they'd shut it down it don't matter it is the word of god today i want to draw you to a point we have at our disposal the most powerful and life-changing book that has ever shown up in humanity then why is it that many times we even as apostolics even as people that believe in the word why is it that we're not satisfied with the word of god but instead we search for a word from god hang on to me we're coming to the house of the lord we get on prayer list we get on postings and we say you know what i just wish god would speak to my situation it's almost as if god is simply he hasn't said enough now please understand my intention today i am not trying to say to this congregation or anybody online or the future that will watch this online i'm not trying to say that you shouldn't look to god and ask god to move in your situation i know god still speaks i know that he still moves mountains i know that he still walks into situations and circumstances i know that but friend of mine if you are sitting in this room right now and you came into this house saying lord i want to hear from you the lord god many times is sitting there saying i've already told you everything that you need to know in fact it is already settled in heaven if you have a situation in your life the challenge is not god i want you to speak a new word to me no friend it is in the word already he gave it to us he sealed it signed it and put it back understand when you're saying oh i'm looking for a word from god today what you're really saying here this preacher today is i'm too lazy to get into the word and let him speak to me through the word instead i want a microwave answer i want to be able to hit a button and get something for where i am now i've come to declare to you when the preacher stands up here and says you better get in the word it isn't just because it's a good idea no friend it's because it needs to be as a melody in your heart that you get up in the morning and you declare the word of the lord this is the day the lord has made i will rejoice and be glad in it i was glad when they said hey when you get the word moving dylan god's gonna begin to do something in your situation god if you would just speak to me today then i would know there's 738 000 plus words how many more do you need before you'll finally believe in any of them hang on to me see god doesn't have to speak in our generation for us to already have a word from him do anybody here believe still the word of god listen to me carefully the bible tells us very specifically in the last days saith the lord there will there will be what be wars rumors pestilence fam anybody know that how many believe that's going to happen oh lord here we are jesus oh it's just a bad situation lol help us we're just falling apart at the seam that same bible says he's going to pour out of his spirit upon all flesh sons and daughters servants manservants come on god's doing a work the question is do you choose to believe all the word are you looking for a quick fix somebody to throw you a bone at this hour and say you know what this is really the answer you're looking for i come to tell somebody the devil is alive if he can get the word of god out of you he's already got you and he's going to destroy you i believe that if the word of god is from god and it is for us today then what do we look for more simply we should submit to what he's doing is there more of god that we have yet to discover do you think god's bigger than he's allowing us to see we would all sit here today and say well there are deeper depths and higher heights than god i know but it's in god therefore it's there he's not going to have to fabricate it because somebody's getting close oh lord he's getting close i better make up something it is already established you're not going to force him into a corner to have to decide how am i going to bless them now i've already blessed them all they can't no that's why the word of god is alive you can read it today and it blow up in your face read it next week and it goes silent read it the following week and it come alive again why because it is the word of god we don't need to look for a word from him we already have that what we have to do is when he speaks through his word we respond to his word my grandma used to say it like this my grandpa used to say it this way herb what we got to do is seek god seek after him where are you god i'm everywhere all places at all time that said when you show up on your job tomorrow before you punch a clock before you do what you do at your desk you seek for god god where are you at today i'm in my word where's my word today get my word active where you are and watch what happens why do you think when somebody walks by your desk and they just pause for a moment they say look i know you want them christians can you help me pray for this situation you think that's because you're pretty or something no it's because their spirit is reaching out and it doesn't know what to do some of you sitting here right now you have allowed the blinders of the enemy to be put over your eyes and you have no idea how you got here or where you're going to go when you leave here because you would rather hear the lie of the devil than the voice of god through his word there are some sitting here in this room today you are hoping that somebody will come up and pray for you that you'll receive healing or miracle why does that even need to happen the word of god says by his stripes you are healed the battle is is we can't believe him for his word what do you think david oh god help me stay on track today what do you think david faced when he came to the battlefield and he looked out in this great big giants across the valley there yelling and screaming and cursing is god what do you think dave why did he look away is there not a cause has not god said why are you guys cowering behind these rocks and these bushes over here isn't there somebody that'll stand up and just simply hey all somebody had to do was walk over to big ol goliath excuse me excuse me pardon me listen bro i know you're big and all but i got something to say hero israel the lord our god is one lord he is victorious over all things in fact he is here right now with the encampment of the israelites what you need to understand big guy is that you have no weapon that you can throw at us i've got this shield and sword and we come in the name of the way now what he said you come you come at me with sword and shield but i come where do you get that from i read about i understand that when there was a bear out there i didn't go running chasing that bear nor that line and saying i come in my name he was saying i come in the name of jehovah i come in the name of our god yahweh i come in the name of i come in the name of the lord god i know the elohim is the most powerful i know that god has the ability friend of mine i stand at this podium today the challenge for us is to understand he is the word he is the way he is the truth search for the word of god and not for a word from god allow the scripture to come alive and lead you in your daily walk allow the power of the plan of god to unfold in your situation the psalmist david said it like this you can read about it in chronicles if you want to but he put it together in this psalm 29 verse 1 give unto the lord o almighty give unto the lord glory and strength give unto the lord the glory do unto his name worship the lord in the beauty of holiness the voice of the lord is upon the waters the god of glory thundereth the lord is upon many waters the voice of the lord is powerful the voice of the lord is full of majesty the voice of the lord breaketh the cedars hey the lord breaketh the cedars of lebanon he maketh them also to skip off like a calf of lebanon and syria like a young unicorn the voice of the lord divided the flames of fire the voice of the lord shaketh the wilderness the voice said the lord shaketh the wilderness of kadasha the voice of the lord maketh the hinds to calve and discover it before his and in the temple doth everyone speak of his glory the lord sitteth upon the flood yea the lord said the king forever the lord will give strength unto his people the lord will bless people with peace i've come today to ask you do we still believe that he's above all things and everything do we still understand his word settled it we got to sing about his word we got to preach about his word we gotta grasp his word we need to understand it's his word pastor you don't know my problem i really need a word from the lord today come on brother heard where you at come help him truth of the matter is god will speak from his word into your life have you ever read the bible and it simply die and mean nothing to you i have just words and i wondered about that and all the while the lord's saying my word is alive healthy it can do anything and everything the problem is not his word the problem is believing what was written do you think for one moment in 2021 that our generation is worse than the generation of noah huh how long was he building the ark from the command to plan to the rain 100 what over 100 years yet he stayed because of a word and we talked about this this past wednesday night for just a brief moment there was 500 that watched jesus ascend and the word came we see it we read it don't we yo don't be gazing up go there's a comforter come on go you go look you go watch you go wait oh wait he's keep coming he go he's a comforter coming to you and out of 500. for whatever reason you got 120 in a room now again i said this the other night is that because there was no room up there for the 500 did the other 300 plus decide it wasn't worth it i wasn't i don't know i do know this i know this that went whoo the bible tells you that on the day of pentecost they were what where they came to an agreement because of what his word he said we would be endued he said a comforter would come you guys agree with this yeah oh what does that mean no doubt there were some questions no doubt there was some way let's just sit here and wait see if he gives us another word waiting and waiting finally him a sound from heaven it's like a rushing mighty it wasn't a breeze that covered one corner it wasn't a simple breath that kind of came but it filled the house where they were sitting appeared to them what another word tongue is a fire and sat upon each of them anybody know what that means it's a physical representation of god's spirit when people come together and they all spoke tongues as what spirit gave utterance it's interesting to note everybody in this room everybody online if you've ever received the wonderful gift of the holy ghost it was when the spirit changed your words you quit the words of your flesh and now you've got the word of a spirit and that word began to move in you it took up residence in you that's how it is that on that day when you won't even know how to give an account you'll open your mouth and the spirit will speak expressly why because that word will come to life in the beginning god created we with you with me what did the enemy use to confuse eve a word she chose to believe the lie of the word then the truth of the word if you're here today and you feel like you're defeated and you're beat and you're broken down it's because you're believing the rumor instead of the true word in this place today some of you before you leave here you better settle it now you said it it's in your word i'm done arguing with it i'll submit to it i'll believe you for it i'll walk in truth with it i'm going to tell my kids about it i'm going to bring the word to work i'm going to bring the word to where i am when i'm in the car when i'm in the bed whatever it is i'm going to talk about the word why because he is the word stand with me please the word with god was god the word come on we don't need a word from god today we are we have it what we need to do is believe the word we have we need to trust the word he's already given us what more could he say what more could he write what more could he do to convince you that he loves you there's a place that he's preparing for you there's a place called heaven for those who will submit to his plan and to his word for those who will follow the promise and the plan of god what more are you looking for do you need a better healer you need a better provider do you need a better protector do you need a better savior what else are you looking for i declare to you the word of the lord is all you need pray with me church lord first of all i thank you for your word first of all i thank you for every word that you've allowed me to read in this precious book your word is life life became light i know the darkness doesn't comprehend it lord but i want to understand the light today and it's it's in your word i believe jesus that you still you still lord speak to us through the word you don't have to fabricate something more something greater something more owie is wowie lord but it's the word it's forever settled you can't even change your word there's not another bible there's not a bigger plan it's it's yours god we simply must embrace you and your word submit to your promises and your plan let your principles and your passion be seen in us daily i believe today in this room there's somebody that's that's ready to push all the doubt and fear aside come on your heart's reaching today for truth i want you to invite you to this altar come on if you don't have the holy ghost it's here for you today it's part of the word it's part of the word somebody needs to come today and lay down your fear your doubt and your questions of the word and say lord i'm sorry but i i'm going to choose to to believe your word i'm going to choose lord to believe the voice of your word i'm going to believe it oh i'm going to trust you for it oh the voice of the lord is upon the waters the voice of the lord is working the voice of the lord is powerful the voice of the lord is full of majesty the voice of the lord it breaks things it takes things out of the way come on somebody has prayer time in the house of the lord i want to invite you to an altar come and pray come on come and get a hold of god oh god my god how majestic is your name i don't need a word from you today lord i simply need to believe the word that you are. come on that's right it's prayer time church press through your doubt and fear get into the altar get into the presence of god lord let your word let your word become manna to me let it become water in a thirsty land to me oh jesus your word lord come on somebody that's right i hunger for your word i thirst for your word it's a lamp to my feet lord it's a light to my pathway lord come on somebody pray right now jesus call upon the name of the lord mom and dad call on the name of the lord young folk call on the name of jesus children call them the name of jesus his word is right his word is powerful his word can do its job come on trust that word trust his word trust his word we have a word from god and it is him yes that's right pray come on call on the name of the lord god help me today lord i choose to trust you i choose to believe you my choice is you jesus your word lord makes all the difference i need your word i need a passion for your word i need a passion for your principles i need a hunger lord for the hope that is within the word oh that's right come on pray that prayer lord give me a hunger for the word let me hide the word in my heart that i don't sin against you let your word god be the bread lord that strengthens my walk with you let the word be like god to me let it be light to me come on church that's right jesus i need you lord i need you lord we have a word from god it is the word of god jesus jesus jesus jesus your word lord is forever settled because you're settled from the beginning to the end your word from the start to the last your word jesus jesus jesus yeah yeah yeah yeah holy is your name jesus is your name jesus your name hallelujah we need a word today and it's you a word it's you the word lord it's you jesus the word it's you oh almighty god when you read the scripture you understand from genesis 1 revelation 22 it's his word his anointing would rest and move on people and they'd write and then for those who lived through it they would write the account and then those that were helping the other churches they would write it settled it's the only book that has written the end before it happened if you believe the creation you better believe heaven so what other page would you put in his word what other chapter would you add what other miracles would you look for there's not enough hey that's not enough there's only one more book being written the lamb's book of life and every one of us will be judged by what by the word this ought to be the most important thing you possess ought to be the most important thing you possess now i'm like a lot of you i can i've got 40 translations on my ipad and my phone i understand katie beth that i can read on my watch but i can't read that little writing tim it's just i'm sure it's what it says three no excuse get it hide it put it in there wouldn't it be a shame on that day to stand before him and for you to say to him i was just waiting on another word grab a hold of somebody's hand close to you would you before we pray i want you to understand something the word of god is given to us to exhort to reprove at times to rebuke us at times to chastise us and get our attention and it is with all the love that the word shows he so loved the world that he gave all day yesterday and last night sleeping and this morning early the lord kept on and on and on and on and on and even in my office this morning lord i don't want to be mean lord knows i i struggle as well and i try to get it and understand the lord was so very kind to simply say but these aren't your church people they're mine if they don't get this word now and they don't put it in here when they're starting to look for something else it won't be out there because everything in this world is going to fall and burn and get that word so that's how i prayed last night this morning and in my office a while ago i want you to pray that prayer with me the one you're holding on to right now i want you to pray for them god i pray that you would put a passion within them a hunger for the most powerful thing ever written your word god i pray you would wake them shake them remind them of your word let them know about it in the morning let them talk about it when the noon time let them recall the word let them hide it in their heart so they don't sin against you let the word be what comes to their mind first let it be what's in their heart last breath breath of the day i pray lord that the church would desire and develop a hunger for the word more than ever before i i believe god if we'll hunger for the word the word will make the difference in us the world is looking for the word the enemy is afraid of the word the church that believes in the word can change the world come on pray it lord god i i want to love the word because you're the word you're the word you're the way you're the truth you're the light the word is you the name of jesus be glorified in this room right now the name of jesus be magnified in this house right now let your word god be the lamp to our feet light our pathway let the word that we have lord let it be what leads and guides us today your word is speaking to us even now i plead your blood over the church keep us lord as we leave this place we'll go lord hungry and thirsty for you hungry and thirsty for you coming back this week lord to learn of you and to draw closer to you jesus in this hour lord let the church arise full of the word full of the word of a testimony of what you've done and what you're doing in this hour oh come on somebody a testimony that the word is true he's not slack concerning his promises if some men count slackness but he is able come on his arm is not shortened come on his word is true it's faithful come on grab a hold of his word you said it i believe it there's no doubt about it i'm holding on to your word it is you it is you it is you your word your word your word your word oh come on somebody magnify him he is the word he is the word he is the word hallelujah yes yes yes yes yes i love you today
