Free to copy and share with attribution. ------------------------------------------------------------ we just magnify the Lord just one more moment we love you Jesus and we thank you God for your wonderful presence just extend yourself to God one more time and just say Lord I am thine O Lord I have heard your voice have your way in my life would you pray that with me Lord have your way in my life Lord tonight God is important but Lord not nearly as important as what happens after tonight God have your way in my life Lord I'm Your Vessel I'm your child lead us Lord and guide us could everyone say in Jesus name it is such a privilege to stand before you tonight tremendous honor one of which the magnitude I don't know for sure if I can completely take in but I give this congregation honor tonight I give this platform honor mangan's shock POA family thank you for hosting this great conference which has meant so much to me over the years something's happening in the Earth something's happening in the spirit world something's happening to us as a people it's good it's scary it's awesome I concur with every speaker all of the wonderful things that were said I just wholeheartedly amen but I feel that God has just spoken into my spirit a concept that maybe we can take home a great hope in what is about to happen in our lives and Ministries amen praise the Lord I would like to go to Genesis 39. and verse number 20. I would like to say as we are finding that text and it's being presented to us happy birthday Deanne my wife's birthday is today and I love you and without you I am absolutely nothing Genesis 39 and 20. as we're getting ready to read the word of the Lord I want you to know four words that I want to drive into your spirit tonight Perez must not die Perez must not die and Joseph's Master took him and put him into the prison a place where the king's prisoners were bound and he was there in prison in the prison but the Lord was with Joseph that's not just in a figure he's in prison and the Lord is with him in prison with him and showed him mercy and gave him favor in the sight of The Keeper of the prison and The Keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison and whatsoever they did there he was the doer of it The Keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand because the Lord second time now was with him and that which he did the Lord made it to prosper I want to minister to you tonight from this subject prisoner in the land of fulfillment Joseph is a prisoner unbeknownst to him in the very place where God is going to fulfill lifetime dreams it doesn't seem to be a place of fulfillment at that moment but it is and God keeps those Secrets very close to the chest but he calls us to trust while we wait quietly in prison for the rest of the world to catch up to what God has shown Us in the spirit I know you're standing I want to dedicate this message because I feel called of God to do so this message is dedicated to everyone who has ever dreamed and believed in a Dream from God so big that it makes God the only hope of it ever happening you're my heroes let's love the Lord one more time God speak powerfully into our lives in the name of Jesus let your will be done in our life if you believe that shout yes if you believe it shout in the name of Jesus praise the Lord you may be seated God bless you this is something that I don't normally do but I'm going to give you the heart of my message up front so if you don't get anything else out of it I've summarized it for you this is what I hope to accomplish by preaching the word of the Lord tonight you are not crazy you are not insane God did speak to you the Dream Is For Real it will happen if you believe that can we worship just a moment I'm not crazy praise the Lord it's going to happen just more than likely in a way you least expect God is not failing you your inferior expectations are it all started with favor from Daddy then he got favor from God daddy made him a coat of many colors and his brothers despised him because Joseph had a special connection with his dad dad no doubt felt something unique about this child and this son but then God starts giving dreams at only 17 years of age and friend if you think you're going to be persecuted because a man likes you you have never seen persecution like it is when people start realizing how much God likes you Hallelujah and so he has a dream and what all young cocky 17 year olds do they want to tell everybody I have favor but Brothers don't like favor because they're in competition and you're the runt and people who rely on carnal Kingdom systems never like the way God does his evaluations God picks from the last God picks from the back God picks the second over the first and so he says Dad bro guys I had a dream last night and I know you're gonna love it because it puts you in a place of submission to me when you can't even conceptualize how that's going to be a reality the Sun the moon the stars are going to bow down to me don't you think that's cool hey young buck you think I'm gonna bow down to you you're the Run do you understand the hierarchy around here you understand how this is set up there is a thing that's called seniority and I just want to throw in here there's really nothing any more senior than God I like how Johnny James said it when I was growing up God did not make the world or the universe from scratch he made it from itch because itch precedes scratch there's nothing before God and if God puts his hand on you I don't care if you're a teenager yes we need to be respectful and submitted but we need to understand Divine favor but no matter how much I preach that you will be persecuted because God has a plan for you the persecution is a part of the setup I said the persecution is a part of the Divine setup one would have to wonder why did I tell that dream why didn't I just keep it in my heart because Jeremiah tells us very plainly in chapter 23 verse number 28 the prophet that hath a dream let him tell a dream and he that hath my word let him speak my word Faithfully what is the chath to the wheat saith the Lord what is the chaff to the wheat the chaff is the refuse it's the stalk that holds the wheat up off the ground it's the husk that protects it from the weather it's those fibers that stick out of it that separates it and organizes it and causes it to be healthy but it's refuse compared to the promise the Lord is saying if God has spoken to you don't be afraid of the reality of what God has put in your spirit do not let the chaff confuse you the chaff is keeping you up off the ground from becoming rotten even though they persecute you they protect you even though they try to withstand you they organize you God uses adversity to make the dream a reality lift your hands for just a moment and love the Lord with me because God is about to take us on a powerful journey I believe it's going to change our life God's going to do it you are not crazy what the problem really is is that we capture expectations once God speaks naturally so the problem is is we can't arrest the infinite we can't get our mind around how God is going to do it so we start imagining but you see prophecies and Promises leave out key details all of a sudden the moon the star is going to bow down to you is that true according to the text if you believe that's true shout amen we didn't leave he didn't tell about well of course your brothers are going to hate you because of and your dad's going to regard it in his heart but he's not going to get you back and then they're going to murder you but I'm going to have to like demote that murdering desire to just a banishing desire and they're going to throw you into a pit and eventually you're going to be bought by midianite slavers and then you're going to be sold to potiphar then you're going to be light on by his wife because you desire Purity even when there's not a law prohibiting adultery then we're going to put you in prison and you're going to sit there and languish as an innocent man who did nothing but dream that wasn't in the prophecy was it God leaves out key details when a prophecy Goes Forth in a service you want to know why God leaves out the details they're not your responsibility hear the word of the Lord tonight God tells you what he wants you to focus on he tells you what he wants you to grasp the rest he can handle it the rest he can take care of it I said the rest is up to God it may involve you but God is going to take care of it foreign God wants us to trust his way and his Providence I only want you to worry about the Sun the moon and the stars they're going to bow down because I'm going to use you in a certain way and I'm going to position you in a certain way that's going to make that a reality that's all I want you to care about what about the jealousy what about breaking up the home what about me becoming property to some rich guy in Egypt what about me being sold into a foreign land what about me trying to stay pure and then being light on what about me being positioned all the time by my circumstance I've been positioned by it God says quit fretting over that quit worrying about that did I speak to you then hold on to that I will use circumstance if you do not give up or try to think for me I will put you in the land of your destiny it may be very contrary even to your idea of how those things are going to happen it's easy for Joseph to begin to assume and expect that God's going to use me in such a way in Daddy's house everyone's going to recognize it the Elder is going to serve the younger Hallelujah but they stabbed him in the back would you like to know where our hurts come from I know many of you know yeah I'm hurting I don't need you to tell me listen our hurts come from and our disappointments come from an unmet expectation I think God wants to align our expectation not with some carnal vision of how God has to do it but rather with an humble submitted idea that says God is Sovereign you will do it the way you choose even if it looks like I'm going backward and in reverse the whole time I just want to speak to somebody right now this word is for you and if you just dare to let your faith reach out and say you mean to say that this this this this and that that wasn't mentioned in the prophecy is actually God going to use those things and make it a reality yes yes yes yes I don't have time to go off on any tangents but Mary and Martha wanted Jesus to do what to Lazarus I want you to say this with me inferior expectation Jesus goes the other direction why because he desires to give them more and show them more about his power than what they are asking for how does God do more you expect that without denying the inferior expectation in the process God has to say no to some prayers so he can give you more than what you are asking for I don't know about you but do it do it Lord do it mess up my schedule tear up my agenda destroy the idols of my expectations Hallelujah I want to clap my hands to a god that is in control turn to someone as you're seated and just say God's in control of the stuff that's been happening in your life you want to know why you could rebutton me right now and say I don't know about this the reason you're doing that is because you're serving an expectation more than you're serving God I know I'm a young man I thank you for the opportunity to even be heard or for me to even possibly speak into your life but you've got to hear me God wants to tear down the idols of our expectations he is under no obligation there is no fine print there is no legal Clause there that God has to explain how he's going to do what he promised you he would do but we want information we're on the internet everything's popping and moving and blackberries and iPhones we want to know I'll have the right to know We the People want our information and God says I told you all I want you to know I'm going to make the Sun the moon and the stars bow down to you I'm gonna make the other sheaves bow down to your sheep now trust me you don't know how I am about that does not compute I need info I need details I need to analyze it I need to make sure God you're doing it the best way and if you let me in on it I can help you a little bit about how to motivate me fluffy bunny promises that coincide with cotton candy processes I don't want to grow I just want to be comfortable and I will keep to myself preachers having itching ears so that I may hear that and not be challenged please please please I am begging you God has told you all you need to know the rest even if you're going backwards is okay God you said it I trust your character you love me I'm gonna be all right oh my Lord I'm getting further and further away from my expectation I didn't see it happening like this there's no way this can be God yes it's God yes it's God he is in control let's love the Lord just another moment you're not crazy you're not crazy you're not crazy you may be seated I hate controversy I don't like it all my friends go you just lied it because of the time I don't like it I don't like it when people don't like me I was raised needing affirmation I was raised to needing everyone to be on board I need everyone to like me according to my old self but remember when you dare to speak the dream because of a prophetic anointing because of a direct word from God brothers are going to say whoa that indicts me not that God wouldn't speak to the brothers it's that they haven't been listening and when you dare to listen it draws attention to you and they want to kill the thing that exposes their lackadaisical attitude hear me I dare you not to be cocky or arrogant I dare you to just start talking about some crazy dreams I've actually been around friends before and I can see the fervor and the excitement of a fresh word from God and they dumb it down and they reduce it to a lowest common denominator because they're terrified of what I would think about them believing that God would do something that big through someone like them tell me I believe it I don't care how outlandish I don't care how crazy I don't care how incomplete it may seem God is going to do what he said he would do love him love him love him yes yes yes yes come on it's not about being haughty you might be seated it's not about being cocky it's about saying I dare to talk about this because I believe in it enough to say do it what's next favorite favorite favor hatred jealousy betrayal you become a piece of property they're going to murder you when they saw Joseph coming because he was checking on them they said ah look at the dreamer that's what the flesh does that's what carnality does that's what hierarchy does not preaching is it I'm saying it's just in our mind we can't handle you having any kind of preeminence there is a way to look at things in the flesh uh-huh but like I said before that expectation is what put Jesus on the cross by the very people who swore to be looking for him he came and did not meet their expectation he came and did not fulfill the image they had created in their mind of what the Messiah would look like how he would act and the favored status they would have once he did show up it's been said that Jesus turned the world upside down I beg to differ Jesus turned the world right side up it's been upside down far too long we've built our values off of an upside down world and called it normal I read something recently and some science that's being done it's pretty neat they did experiment with glasses and they put them on some test subjects and it caused them to see their world upside down you can imagine how disturbing that would be to have glasses that inverted everything but after about two weeks something happened in the mind and it took the glasses that had turned everything upside down and the mind turned it right side up so that when they took the glasses off and things were really the way they were supposed to be everything went back to being upside down I want you to know that Adam and Eve turned the world upside down Jesus came back to turn the world right side up that's why the last is first I just want you to know if you're serving your expectation you're going to die in the process Jesus did not come to turn the world upside down but rather right side up so down is the new up awkward it's the new forward oh it's the new end critics critics are now promoters slander is now advertisement God is in control when somebody will serve him over the expectations you may be seated the enemies of our dreams do not know what they are doing they're helping I know you want to get there I want to get there but when they lash out against you when they rise up against you when they talk about you and stab you in your back when you are wondering when is it going to change maybe the Betrayal is a set up by God to get you out of Daddy's house where the dream will never happen and to position you in a place that according to your expectations are millions of miles away from a fulfillment but actually to God you are on x marks the spot you are directly on the bullseye right where God said this is how I'm going to do it this is the fine print that I didn't care to print when people persecute you when people rise up against you rather than lashing out against them against The Sermon on the Mount let us take pause and say I don't like it it's uncomfortable I'm innocent Maybe depends on who's looking at it you can say God where are you sending me that will actually bring what you promised to pass I'm going to jump to the very end of this right now Pastor Terry would you come help me some dreams I was going to give you a heads up about this I love this man unbelievable word from God you're going to be God because I want to be you know the lowly one in this illustration let's go over here you see I haven't really thought this through okay over here Lord this is what not to do in your actual relationship this is God this is my destiny God arranges I want you just kind of put your arms on my shoulders here we should have practiced he doesn't want me to see where I'm going because I would bail out right now man you're strong Take On Me oh there's no way and so God just begins to push us in reverse while we look at him and he backs us into our destiny quit worrying about you can't see where we're going I can't see where I'm going quit worrying about it look to the Master's face look to the Master's face he's driving the car he's in control thank you if you believe it if you just try to believe it shout yes I think you believe it God's got you in his arms Wrap Me In Your Arms I don't have to see where we're going as long as I can see you as long as I can talk to you back me into my destiny you may be seated from the pit to Potiphar's house to prison God backs him away away from his expectation and says if you stayed at Daddy's house you would not be experiencing it what I really have for you Mary and Martha if I keep answering inferior prayers because they're little and small they're not insignificant they're important but they are based on a reality that's only asking God for what you've seen before and heard before I've seen healing so we better hurry and get Jesus here because if Lazarus stops breathing Jesus is out of options that was the assumption why do you think they were frantic hurry hurry get to Jesus what was guiding that their faith no and inferior expectation that said we have to have healing because we don't know what's beyond that United Pentecostal Church I love you you've given birth to me but I say to you could our angst be and our frustration be because God said healing act wrong answer oh that one bombed what if God is saying I know you want me to heal in John 11 there's three references to the love of Jesus for that family if he'll heal anybody he'll heal his friend if he heals anybody he's going to do it at the beck and call of Mary and Martha no I believe I'm going in the other direction when he says our friend Lazarus sleepeth he said let's go wake him up and he says I am glad for your sakes that I was not there I'm having one of those moments again does not compute does not compute if you love me why would you not want to be here come for me because if I was there your inferior faith and inferior expectation would coerce me and try to manipulate me and by sympathy I would heal and then I would postpone in your life the great thing and I have in store I have to deny the inferior request I have to stay away for just a little while I'm still with you in spirit and presence but I must wait until the moment is right so that I may give you more than what you were expecting one more time hands lifted High quinoa Paris must not starve you understand that Joseph has lied on him going all the way directly to the prison now he's in the prison we don't know for sure how long he was there but it's estimated three to five years he spends two years after the Butler and the baker still total three to five years he's there his attitude and his submission to God is essential through the whole process in the pit he does not fight his brothers but he rises up and becomes such a high quality slave that he's sold to a prominent man a ruler in Egypt foreign wherever you are do you believe God's process enough to dare to rise up within that process and be the best you can at that limited moment of transition too many of us do not see far enough ahead so the transition is our future to us when it's only just to Blink it's only just a moment the god that's backing you into your destiny knows oh we need to pause here for just a moment quit wiggling we have to stop off at Potiphar's house because you need training and stewardship so you can run a nation in recession and failing I've got to stop you here because you're going to learn techniques this is what's going to cause you to speak up to pharaoh and said you need to pick somebody to run the Affairs of the Kingdom God knows exactly where he's placing you but you get to prison and you begin to be tempted to fall into a place that I believe psychologists call learned hopelessness they did a test in the 70s with dogs and they put them in a cage there were several tests but in the cage they stimulated the dogs with electricity there was a small divide they hopped over it and some of the test subjects would hop over to a part of the cage that was not electrified but another group no matter where they hopped they would get a shot they would hop back and another shock and they'd hop back and another shock and they'd hop back and then another jolt of electricity until the dogs gave up I'll just settle for the corner of this cage because no matter what I do it induces pain no matter what I do it brings disappointment no matter what I do there's a brother there to slander me no matter what I do there's something on YouTube no matter what I do and so the dogs in that in that cage curled up in the corner and began to whimper they would stop the test come back the next day try it again the dog didn't change overnight he he took it from the moment all of the stimulation all of the Joseph electricity he would just whimper it's not worth trying I've learned to be hopeless too many of us are settling for a destiny that is beneath the prophetic word of God a destiny that is beneath the dreams that God gave us at 17. I know I'm digging and I knew this would be the hardest part of the message but there are some of you that have been mightily used of God but even though it was mightily it has not even touched nor scratched the surface of what God told you he would do in that old camp meeting service what he told you when he was crazy enough to go all night at 17 and pray because you didn't have a wife and screaming kids but he told you and I just wonder there were four changes of garments in Joseph's life that was the coat of many colors that's Daddy and Daddy's favor that had to be stripped away or you never get to the place where I'm really going to use you then after Daddy's favor he goes to Potiphar's house and he moves into a coat of Duty and responsibility he earns the leadership in Potiphar's house and then a woman who wants to corrupt him strips that coat off of him now I have two coats stolen then he moves into the prison garb of the dungeon in Egypt it's not really sun moon and stars kind of stuff but hey God's with me let me just see if God will give me favor here does and the warden goes whoa free labor take over you're awesome I'll get a promotion off of you but now the Butler and the baker fall into his lap and up until this moment his gifting has done nothing good good that he can tell or perceive why do I need to minister now I've got a new coat I'm getting a little bit of influence why do I need to operate there why do you need to drag the gifts back up why do you need to make me feel that way again and the Lord spoke to me four years ago and said this is the most pivotal moment this is just what I got this is the most pivotal moment in the life of Joseph he must not and you must not be at odds with your gifting when the Butler and the baker fall into your lap and say can you help us with dreams because if you've learned to be hopeless you're going to say buddy I was in the dream business and went bankrupt go find someone else and if you do that you never get on Pharaoh's radar it's the cup Bearer though two years later this is oh man we got a dream dude in the dungeon well isn't that nice to remember me finally and so Pharaoh says call him call him and when he hears the change jingling Perez is really important when he hears the chains jingling and the gate's rustling and they're saying hey you dreamer boy come on oh excuse me I need to shave could I clean myself up and I need to get this garment off two were taken the third one was given as a sacrifice to a higher calling the potential of a new identity the possibility that God is about to do something he had no reason to believe he thinks well interpreter him for pharaoh go back to the dungeon that's what the hopelessness does that's what the Learned degree of hopelessness does it's like the elephant in the circus when he's little little they drive the stake really really deep and he can't move it and when he's older they don't even drive it in the ground they just touch his leg with the rope and in his mind he says I can't I can't I can't many of us are prisoners in our mind it's not our culture it's not people working against us it's not even the devil it's learned helplessness it's learned hopelessness it's a wrestling with God's ways you're a prisoner in the land of fulfillment and if you just trust the process there is no telling what you're about to see I'm closing I'm closing right now he takes off the prison guard he takes it off because he says I may be influential here but I would rather instead of run a prison and serve Chow I'd rather influence a nation and feed the world you're unrealistic no God's unrealistic he's the one that told it to you I didn't I'm just telling you to dare to believe what you heard is a 17 year old it may take 13 years before Pharaoh calls for you but God has greatness that is beyond our ability to expect it beyond our ability to imagine it don't forget about Paris oh I gotta finish this but what you just let the Holy Ghost dare to utter forth from you as the spirit gives the utterance multi Ando song then far more than a prison identity that's only this moment of transition that's only this snapshot in your life before I close I will tell you they will not strip you of your prison garb they've already taken two and you may just be clinging to an inferior identity saying it may not be what God promised but I promise you at least I'm influential I had people that listen to me they love me and call me Pastor I mean no offense but what does God have in store for you if you would dare to say what if there is another garment in Pharaoh's Court read it Egyptian robe of of and you will not know it's there unless you're willing to say I need a shave I need to clean up I think this is my big day I heard it stop stop please I gotta I gotta shut down but I heard it and I got to speak to it I thought that before I heard you say it that's learned hopelessness speaking not faith not trust in a god who's puts you in Reverse but he is well and forward stop thinking like that stop saying dreams have never done me nothing but bad and say maybe this is something if maybe there is something in the earth maybe there really is a World Vision maybe there is going to be a convulsion in the Holy Ghost that is going to Ripple across the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean that is going to rip open the mountains it is going to cause a great downpour of God's presence I close I close I close maybe see you for just a moment it's to me it's only 13 years quit whining the world needs to eat and if you're not in position they go hungry Dreamer that's what I'm talking about that kind of significance in being positioned prophetically by God because you just let him put you where you're supposed to be and you quit kicking and screaming and whining and crying and you keep giving and ministering even when you think it doesn't even matter or count you say all is well when all is well with thee remember me and you're forgotten for two more years I don't belong here why God you promised me still sweetheart you wandered when you were 17 when I sent you to look for your brothers I couldn't afford for you to land in Egypt and not arrest you when you have a Wandering complex as it is I arrested you for safe keeping because your dreams are so important they're larger than you even thought they were and I had to put you in prison to keep you from letting the world starve to death because you couldn't see past 13 years of process I know you are would you dare to say this word is for me it is it is it is there's a fourth coat for you and no one's going to steal it from you it really is a yes the world has to eat but it's not the most important thing in my tail and my story tonight and in my message it is an illegitimate nephew that is sired in the 38th chapter of Genesis after the 37th chapter where Joseph is mentioned and the Dream Begins and the process is well on its way a little illegitimate boy because Judah would not give up his last son is born he's an embarrassment he's a mistake and if Joseph is not where he's supposed to be this young boy this embarrassment this blot on the family name this blemish on the reputation of God's family will starve to death you see Perez is the transliteration in every modern version of the word fair is and in him is the bloodline of Jesus Christ and if you are not in position not only will the word of that day potentially starve but you may starve the bloodline of redemption as it is progressing into a dimension of Revival and renewal that they could not even fathom in the Old Testament so before you worship potentially I dare to tell you that not only does your dream feed with wheat even when you're dead and gone and your bones are being transferred by people who lived after you there is a bread of life that's coming because you were a prisoner in the land of fulfillment if you will dare to let God be God stand upon your feet right now and begin to love the Lord oh what do I do you don't do anything but say I trust you I want you to go home with confidence and hope that it's not this year next year it's coming God has greatness destinied oh take someone by the hand and be a voice of encouragement right now I want you to pray and let the Holy Spirit speak through you I loose you to speak a prophetic word illusion to encourage a dreamer you are destined for more don't let your circumstances dictate your view of God he is in control I want you lift your voice with a Heavenly tongue right now keep praying I want you to let it all out let the frustration out let the worry out let a new tongue Purge your spirit oh God oh God oh God we're not going anywhere anytime soon she might as well go ahead and receive the word of the Lord there's no song playing right now we gotta have the word of the Lord we got to receive that into our spirit we got to get our dreams back we got to hang on to that promise that God gave you years ago moved to somebody and lay hands on them let this whole congregation let the gifts operate right now go ahead come on balcony move over to someone speak a word of faith to somebody see the word of the Lord foreign keep praying but I feel the chains rattling I didn't say it but I feel it now the Lord would have you to know that the Jailer has come to your cell prepare yourself it will be different it is changing it's not gonna be like it's ever been before you gotta hear it in your spirit he's coming he's coming get
