the opportunity to deliver ance to extend the hand of healing the opportunity to use CR to use uh Outreach to use whatever as a tool for reaching our city can you imagine all right and and for me just a moment right I can I can fan myself for this paper but there's a really cool fan right here that's just plugged up that's it's a lot better tool to use than me using a piece of paper to keep myself cool you see that that that type of opportunity that we have will take us to a whole different place thank you thank you brother Horton for sharing that vision for allowing us to buy into that thank you Pastor sister Sloan for allowing us as a body to to operate to work together that is the way the church is supposed to function Paul says he says ye are the body of Christ and in First Corinthians 12 says for the body does not consist of one member but a many and I don't know about you but they kind of have to be attached to work it don't it don't uh my grandfather he's he's a he got his his legs cut off about right here and the other day he had foot cramps he was not having a great weekend y'all he sounded roughed and Haggard because there was nothing he could do because that foot is no longer attached that he couldn't do anything about it but the attached but that that nerve that feeling was still there that body member right you as a body member of Christ even when you're not here we still feel you even when you're detached there's sometimes we get something we can't quite get it out and we got to intercede for you we got to pray for you remember that that's part of being a part of the body the now and then in in the body right so some of us we will we live by this more than others and some of us we just kind of right the body's got to move it's got a stretch right I don't do yoga foreign I tried it one time it did not work well I had a move it's it body is just a machine if you were right our head does everything right if we're going to breathe our brain sending the signal you ever heard that blonde joke I'm not going to tell it today some of y'all heard it yeah yeah but the body must move it must stretch and and we do that our our purpose for coming together is to connect and then our purpose for going to a part is to also connect is to connect with others we we have to do the things that we were created to do the body was created to do good works it was created to to love to fill empathy for people it was created to understand to answer the questions of why it was created to bring order the body of Christ was was devised to do those things and each of us in our own way go about those things and go about those ways of reaching and hugging and healing each of us go about it sometimes some of us I don't know about you but I'm a guy that asks why and I don't even mean it disrespectfully believe it or not it's just why I gotta know why why am I doing this right some of you guys could not care less you just is there a motion to it just over I'm not I'm not talking about my wife at all but uh is is there something that I have to do what what's the what's the base motivator for it some of us we're just do like hey you got this I got it and then some of us maybe not we don't maybe that's not our motivator uh but the others of us it's we we got to bring order we see we see the world as a chaotic being and we got to bring order to something and that's our nature but our nature is not God's nature you see we'll exhaust ourselves and we'll work and do everything that we possibly can do to heal the world through love of ourself okay through our love and we'll do everything we possibly can do to bring reason to the world in logic and order or we'll do everything in the world to bring to bring peace and love and love and all that good stuff and it does nothing and will find ourselves at the end of a rope and we'll find ourselves with nothing else to do and we get burned out now now I want you I want you to understand something this is if you've been in church one day or a thousand this is where burnout comes down comes in because we start doing these things in and of ourselves we start saying I'm going to love someone to Jesus based on my own good deeds or I'm going to bring order to their life based on my disciplines or I'm going to do this now we can be there and we can love them and we're supposed to but our motive matters here our purpose we are the body we've got to connect with God through love before we can move before we can do anything we've got to find something to grab a hold of in God and say this is why I wake up in the morning this is why I am at a service today you see when we do it in and of ourselves our balance our life is so out of balance I am a I get so I get so wound up about making sure things are in Balance anybody ever heard of work life balance yeah yeah most of the time it's just work right word life or or balance in this balancing that I am a it my nature is balance if I see someone being mean I'm gonna be nice if I see someone being nice I'm gonna be mean I don't even know why it's just balance and you're like why is he so mean other people like he's you know he's not sometimes man I'm just opposite of you but anyway the balance we'll burn ourselves out trying to bring balance and Order and love and whatever to our chaotic lives and we'll burn ourselves out doing the work of God I've seen it I felt it I've done it I know we'll burn ourselves out and we can't even feel God because we're just going through the motions been our own motives in our own understanding in our own way but when we fall in love with God greater and deeper and mightier than we can even imagine all of a sudden being at church five nights a week for various activities ain't anything to you because I'm motivated because my father my king is my drive he's what I love he's what I focus on he's what wakes me up he's what puts me to bed you see those broken and hurting and and dying people guess what some of us are still that but guess what what brings balance to our life what brings order is not well I'm just going to go to church two hours a week and then I'm gonna break I'm gonna balance it out over here no but what really brings balance is when we love God so much that he says I'm balancing out the rest of it for you Paul put it like this he said I prayed for Christ I prayed for God to remove the Affliction from me I prayed God I prayed three times God removed this bring balance bring order to this but Jesus said to him my grace is sufficient for my power is made perfect in weakness I don't know what you're struggling with today I don't know what you're facing today oh no what you're you're holding on to today but give it up Give It Up God is made perfect in your weakness you will become strong when you just let I don't even fully understand this but it hit me in such a way that I know that when I'm tired and when I'm hurting and I don't feel like I can hug another neck then I know if I'll just do it one more time for the love of God if I'll just if I'll just step in and sing one more song for the love of God if I'll just pray one more prayer of intercession for the love of God that God will step in and he'll be my strength when I am weak he'll be my way he'll be he'll be my way when I ain't got nowhere else to go I wish she'd stand with me right now I'm I'm closing down we've got a whole hurt and lost and dying world and we're right in the middle of it and they ain't a thing in the world we can do that's it Paul said one other thing he was talking to Corinthians he said I will most gladly spend and be spent y'all I told you I don't fully understand it it's not something that I can just just can just reason through all the way it's not something that I can say if you do this you do this it's not a calculation that I can make but it is something that I know that I trust the word of God I trust the power and the love of almighty God and I know that I can't do it y'all I wished I could I got all the best ideas in the world right until I have to do them and then they just fall apart I wished I knew the direction and I wished I knew everything I I do I try to know y'all might think I'm a know it all but I I don't I wish there was I wished I knew everything I wished I had every answer but the only thing I know is I don't know I don't know what you struggle with everybody's got their own cross to bear and I don't know what you're fighting with today but I do know this that if you can you can lay it at the feet of Jesus and you can say God this is my weakness I can't do anything with it I can't control it I can't love it enough I can't dictate it enough I can't I I I I can't build enough walls around it to protect it foreign but God it's yours I know that in that weakness I'd say that's that's where I come through in that weakness so if you've been in church a thousand thousand days or super first time through the door today would you would you gather around these altars with me God I ain't got nothing you're God I'm not you're everything and I'm not can we do that can we come to that realization God you have all power I have nothing my I'm weak and you are strong God lead God and direct me Lord Hallelujah oh come on Church you're in the altar right now come on take advantage of the opportunity to talk to the Lord to let him move in your life oh come on he's a Healer he's a Waymaker Jesus Jesus Jesus oh that's right come on into his presence I need you sweet Jesus I need you holy God every hour I need you Jesus I love you Lord I love you the name above every name come on that's right come on talk to the Lord that's right get up close to him Lord I I need you in my life today I need you Lord in my heart and in my family in my home I need you Jesus yeah yeah yeah yeah Jesus Jesus holy God holy God worthy savior worthy worthy savior Worthy thank you Jesus I love you all come on at The Healing Waters of the holy ghost touch you right now to try to Let The Healing Waters of the spirit of God let it let it flow over you right now that's right come on there is healing virtue right now in the name of Jesus oh God sweep over my soul today sweep over my spirit right now Jesus I so need you Lord I need you Lord as I run into the waters Lord let me go deeper in you God you can hold me Lord yes you can that's right that's right come on that's right that's right come on love him I sure Need You Jesus I surely do need you Lord come on that's right come on that's right he walks with me with me come on let the healing water of the Holy Ghost move in you right now oh come on that's right my name is that's right come on that's right healing water healing water come on let him
