Free to copy and share with attribution. ------------------------------------------------------------ hey got a world full of lost and dying people i want to thank you guys so much for your attention uh this past month it's and thank you so much pastor for the honor anytime uh someone anytime someone does something right i think it it affects them more than uh the people that they're hoping to affect you know like if if i can poke fun at white girls for just a minute uh anytime they like go on a mission trip they're like oh my lord i was going to help them but then like they helped me you know like i'm just saying every every teenage white girl that goes to uh on a mission trip they say same social media post uh i married one so i know all right so who can i stay with tonight thank you thank you jordan i i'm not going to take up much time but thank you guys so much for your attention i've got just a few minutes and then lauren is going to continue the true colors um to build a church and building a church right there there's one problem there's one major problem in any church or any team and it's people right that that's that's that's where 100 of the issues come from it seem like people jesus jesus came into the world at a time that had structure they had a the jews had structure they had been given it 2000 years or no more than that uh several thousand years before uh when when moses you know i'm sorry got my timeline off there guys let me let me not get too carried away with the timeline there what 1500 years maybe somewhere in that range he had given that god had given that structure those 10 commandments those laws and they had spent all their time sitting around memorizing laws and in memorizing the laws of god they forgot the nature of god which is godliness they forgot to have that there we can act we can keep every law but our attitudes jesus stepped into a culture that was so legalistic that it was suffocating and he said things like in matthew 5 he said if you've heard that said an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth but i say to you do not resist the one who is evil but if anyone slaps you on the right cheek turn him the other also and if anyone sue you and take your tunic let him have your cloak as well that's hard that's a hard teaching in any group of people there's going to be issues there's going to be problems people are not going to get along because they're in and there there are different types of conflict okay and and that's okay because that means we're invested we care that's part of it but in that situation and in those times we have to retain the nature of god it's our godliness our structure won't mean anything there's there's youtube video or youtube there's a instagram instagram reel right it said something about you know the holy ghost it doesn't just cause you to shout right y'all may have all seen i don't know where all the videos at but it it'll cause you to treat people right it'll cause you to act right that all those things are part of a church a structure because we're people right so i uh for the for the sake of time that's that's where i'm going to leave it at uh because i don't want any brawls to start out here i don't need people start fighting all right dear would you would you come and set us straight and and get us out of like fighting mode so i don't well you guys give her a hand
