if you have your Bibles to see then we're going to turn to the world the Lord is st. Luke st. Loup the fifteenth chapter and while you're turning there it is an honor to be in the house of Lord a knight and be with all of you I give honor to your pastor brother and sister carpenter and tremendous tremendous examples for all of us they are examples across our fellowship examples to strangers and we're thankful thankful to call them pastor and we appreciate them give honor brother and sister Erickson and their family as well as brother and sister Hammond and the new addition and it's just just tremendous thankful tonight to have my family with me Breanna and Nate Roberts I'm getting used to that eventually I'll get used to it eventually and then Olivia and davon as well as Delilah sister Garnett and Mark baby mark they're back at the room and they're both been sick since we've been here Monday and she wants to let everybody know wish you a happy new year and she loves you and appreciates you so very very much well when I receive an invitation a couple of months ago or longer concerning this service I prayed and I prayed and I asked the Lord Lord I'm not searching for a title I don't I don't really so much care for a lord of title that someone's gonna remember a sermon by Lord but I would like for you to minister to us in a way on this first service of this new year and so I'm going to deliver to you tonight what I feel like the Lord is impressed on me to deliver to you and and I feel like somebody's gonna leave here with a different mindset toward what this is all about this building we stand in tonight is the house of God by prayers after prayer after prayer and giving giving tears and tears we all stand in a beautiful representation of a house of worship it was created for the purpose for us to worship and praise God how many believe that tonight and it was also intended for a man or woman to walk in they didn't know anybody's name in here-take walked in burden and full of sin that they can walk through this beautiful altar and cry out to God and not even know what to say but a lay minister or a saint of God could slip in beside him and say you know if you want to repent I can help you out the Bible in st. Loup the fifteenth chapter verse number nine and ten scripture reads when she had found it she called it her friends and her neighbors together saying rejoice with me for I have found the peace which I had lost verse 10 likewise I say unto you that there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth skipping down to verse 28 and he was angry and he would not go in therefore came his father out and entreated him and he answering said to his father lo these many years do I serve thee neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment and yet thou never gave us me a kid that I might make merry with my friends but as soon as this thy son was come which hath devoured by living with harlots thou has killed for him the fatted calf and he said unto Him son thou art ever with me and all that I have is dying I was me that we should make merry and be glad for this my brother was dead and is alive again it was lost and is found for a few minutes tonight with the help of the Lord I want to minister on this subject rejoice with me rejoice with me let's lift our hands together and let's love the Lord in this place tonight god I love you the Lord I'm so thankful Lord tonight for your spirit Lord is in this house god I pray Lord in this building tonight that you would tear down any doubt God that is in this room I pray Lord that our pastor Lord would be lifted strengthened Lord I pray Lord tonight the saints of God would be encouraged in this place the Lord the sinner that's in this house will feel welcome Lord I ask you in your most wonderful name tonight that you would let joy peace and happiness rise in this room we give you praise and glory for it all in Jesus name we pray amen god bless you you may be seated tonight Saint Luke the fifteenth chapter it opens up in verse number one talking about then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him look at your neighbor and say sinners that's what drew and that's what kind of crowd our Lord and Savior drew sinners came to hear him you don't hear much where the religious came to hearing but you find often where sinners gathered around and said we've never heard one speak like this man never at any given time have we heard one tell us parables and give us stories that could relate to our lives like this man and in the process of sinners coming together around where Jesus was the Pharisees and scribes murmured saying this man receiveth sinners and not only does he receive sinners but he eateth with them he receives the omen he's in the company of tax collectors and sinners they're all drawing near to hear what Jesus has to say and the Pharisees and scribes they just grumbled and they murmured seen constantly over and over and over this man receives sinners and he eats with them who are the sinners and why would eating with them be so offensive in order in order to understand the significance of Jesus eating with sinners we must first understand the people who sought to use Jesus actions as an assault on his character and ministry it was the Pharisees that were repeatedly over and over and over in the New Testament trying their very best to bring fault and to bring accusation against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ it didn't matter what Jesus was doing or how well he was doing her who he was healing or what day he was healing them on there was always a relief it's religious Pharisee or scribe that was back over in the corner with a small group of people murmuring and complaining about what Jesus was trying to do about what Jesus was trying to speak into the lives of those who were hopeless and had nowhere to turn you see they believed in the Old Testament law but yet many times they rewarded then they would write it over to fit the life they live they yield it heavy on Moses as law and anything that come against it they take it out in the street they were stoned in but Jesus came not to do away with the law but to fulfill the law and when Jesus came he brought a message of hope and a message of deliverance that if you are born in the sin as we all are and were and you were shapen in iniquity there is something that's going to flow down the cross of Calvary which is the blood of Jesus Christ that covers all sin I'm telling you tonight I feel him in this room right now I understand that from time to time we get excited about what God has done for us and you should get excited about what God has done for you if the Lord has never healed your body on the first day of 2020 you should have already shouted thank you Jesus but touching me and healing my body if God puts your marriage back together you ought to again just give God praise and glorify his mighty name but never forget where you were when you walked in the house of worship and nobody knew your name and you were born into sin a sinner that's involved with things that others know they're involved with Jesus called the tax collector Levi who was also known as Matthew to be one of his disciples and subsequently ate a meal at Matthew's home the Pharisees saw this as scandalous and used it as an opportunity to destroy Jesus's character Jesus responded by saying those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick I came not to call the righteous but sinners and he came come looking for those that thought they had it all together I didn't come seeking for those that didn't need someone that can help them in their time of Sinfonia came to seek and to save that which was lost you see it's the heartbeat of God tonight to forgive sins the John the Baptist went about preaching one message and that was repentance somebody shout repentance somebody shout repentance the water is good and the infinite of the Holy Ghost is absolutely amazing but none of that will take place until a man or woman leaves whether standing or sitting and they walk to an altar and they find the place of prayer and they say God would you please forgive me of what I'm involved with in order for there to be a prayer prayed by a man or woman who is a sinner there must be liberty for a pastor and a man of God to preach against Siena I just need a handful of you to help me right here I'll get by with a handful there has to be a man of God that is given Liberty to preach seenin I know your pastor well enough tonight to know that all the Liberty he needs and any real man of God is the liberty of the Holy Ghost in Jesus Christ himself so if you sit back with your arms folded when that man of God preaches against Siena that's fine and dandy but the Liberty that's in the house is Jesus Christ the Liberty that breaks all the yoke of bondage it's the name of Jesus Christ there needs to be a celebration from among saints of God when you're man of God reaches about Siena there needs to be a celebration from a restraint of God with your pastor talks about where you should go and what you should do and how you shouldn t ever he's preaching one of those holiness servants sermons no he's preaching a life-altering sermon I said he's preaching a life-altering sermon don't get caught up with that small group of people that hang out more in the foyer than they do the sanctuary don't get caught up with that small group of people that are standing outside of the gates of the coffee shop they're going to be first in line they're willing to missed an opportunity on the presence of God and missing out pouring they've got their mind more on a cup of coffee and a Danish in a coffee shop then they do a sinner walking down the aisle and saying God would you please God would you please forgive me I know I don't look the part and I know my life is not where it needs to be I know I don't know all the Apostolic lingo but I'm gonna hang around long enough and I'm Laurin yet no I don't really know how to dress my dress is out of order I'm sure but but if you let me stay around here long enough and just and just rub shoulders with folks that that love the burden that Jesus has for Mia if you if you get the burden that Jesus has for me and and let me sit on your pew for a little while but eventually I understand the way Todd wants me to talk and I don't stand the way God will sweet Ali oven I love to stand the way God wants me to dress and I don't understand the wake on low speed we don't leave formality in God's house anymore we need the operation of the power of God that was sweeping across every pew from left to right in this building we need some ladies that have screamed that he screamed in a while we need some men that and leave they haven't leaked in a while we need some moms and daddies at a worship that hain't worshiped in a while over the forgiving power of the Lord Jesus Christ if you'll help me preach you say it's hard to understand it's hard for me right now not to preach just faith and to preach the miracles and signs and wonders that God has done last year and that God would continue to do this year but I feel compelled tonight to stick with what Goss laid on my heart oh if you can only shout when God heals you do you really have a shout if you can only testify about what God did for you in your body ten years ago do you riff do you really have what God really wants you to have but do you remember that you walked into a sanctuary and you didn't even know how to pray you heard the preacher preach about in life that you were living you heard the preacher say that God is not pleased with this lifestyle and you made you wait to an altar it was hard walking from where you were to up here there were eyes looking at you there were people already judging you before you can get up here to the altar so folks may a moon out of the area that you were sitting in when you came II and but you won't here for that brother and you won't here for that sister you heard the man of God say this is displeasing to God but God will forward forgive me God will forgive me I'm sorry Jesus I hate you find me in this way Lord I'd have never approached you this way I'd have never allowed you to see me the way that I am right now the Pharisees drugged me out of a bed of sin the religious people of that day drugged her out of a bed of sin the Bible says Lord they're going to tell you so I might as well tell you they caught me in the very act I've heard pastors say this before if they call her the very act then they all must have been a bunch of peeping toms but after reading this this week I got to thinking why did they only bring the woman could it be that one of the men she was laying with was one of them you see religious people make their own laws and call them God's laws and don't mind breaking and covering them up they're okay with making laws and saying they're God's laws all this is based off the Word of God but you changed it and if you change one word it changes the whole meaning of what God said for you to Leo listen ladies and gentlemen if I'm gonna be anything in 2020 I'm gonna be apostolic if I won't be anything in 2020 I'm gonna be apostolic I can't help what some brothers and sisters are doing I can't help how some are livid I can't help that some women but no way they should put on and some theater speaking vocabulary that they shouldn't speak I will be apostolic if I'm gonna be any vague pray solo then I feel the liberty of the Holy Ghost in here I'm trying to I'm trying to remain calm right now but you understand today just because you're in this beautiful building this is a beautiful house of worship this is a grand place I've not stood in any finer Church in my entire life I walked in here again tonight with my family and I looked at my youngest son and I said one day he said what daddy I said one day we'll be standing in a building like this all that 40 acres of property across from where we are right now one day when I bought Hubble pastor sent me down if I get too much Liberty but I want to tell you what if you think for one minute the lights being dealing a little bit and the beautiful sanctuary we're in tonight gives you any reason for you to sit on your hands and forget where God brought you from and the sinful things that you just and where you used to be and where you used to go and who used to hang you up what can wash away my sins nothing but the blood of Jesus what can make me whole again nothing but the blood of Jesus nothing but the blood of Jesus it's not our blood that covers anyone's ears it's the blood of Jesus Christ I said it's not our blood that covers your CEA's it's the blood of Jesus Christ you're not worshiping your neighbor you're not worshiping the pastor get out worshiping the minister behind the pulpit you're worshiping the one they covered your sin sorry God Jesus we call her in the very act pull around out of that sinful bedroom she was in here she stands Moses law says the stoner it was about that quiet right there Jesus just turned suits and rights in the sin there is no clear revelation of what he wrote but he just listened to what they had to say and they the Bible says it that he stooped down and he began the right to say that he knew every one of those Pharisees that stood behind him he know their life he knew the laws they said they live by but they didn't he knew the ones they had read written just to fit their own lustful flesh and he turned and he said those of you that without sin guess the stone that old trashy woman and the Bible says from the oldest to the youngest they dropped and they walked away although was standing now was that woman and Jesus jesus said were those that can condemned you where are your accusers at she said I have none Lord can you imagine how she felt the way she was drugged to where Jesus was her life was a mess her life was worthless was in ruins he looked at it and said neither do i condemn me go and sin no more what you were drugged out of with you brought it here with you I'm telling you I'm gonna forgive you I'm gonna make all things new go and leave what you been doing and don't do it again repentance is more than a prayer around an altar on a Sunday night with the fast courts going in a few tears and about 25 saying let's leave together and then a trip to Aubrey's or Wendy's or Cracker Barrell or cookout away every acts you go eat and a few handshakes and say we're thankful you're part of the church repentance is more than just a 1 or 2 second prayer rip penis begins when you walk away from here note that you're forgiven but you say I'll never go back I'll never go back the problem we deal with as many times the same problem describes dealt with we don't understand how God can deal with people's trash all because we forgot about our own in the state of North Carolina I don't know how it works anywhere else because I'm from North Carolina but twelve years now sister Garnett nigh and our children have been involved with foster care 12 years ago we got our license 12 years later now we teach classes we teach classes and we try to recruit foster families in our area we've taken just about all the children we can take now praise the Lord and now we are helping recruit a man many times in our County many times in our County in the middle of the night due to domestic violence and drugs and alcohol things begin to get out of hand yes I could go on tonight for at least hour after hour and tell you the instances the phone calls I've received this to tell you the stories that I've heard in our own little County of police offers driving up sweeping up the children from young young children up to teenagers sweeping them and tell them they have just a few items they can get and they throw these items in the back seat of a cop car to then be picked up by DSS social worker and the DSS social worker most chili nine times out of ten has a trash bag they take the few belongings that that kid has rounded up and they throw them in a trash bag and then just a few hours later they knock on the door of what you would consider that some sitting here tonight foster parents and they dropped the child off and sometimes they hand you a trash bag and in the trash bag is just a few belongings of the child that they had to snatch up if they were old enough to snatch a few up throw him in a trash bag and they drop them off on your doorstep they don't give you any instructions they don't leave you what took place by all in North Carolina is confidential they don't have to tell Beth Nora one thing that happened they don't have to tell us if they were molested they don't have to tell us if they come out domestic violence all they hand us is the child and the few belongings we've got it is up to us Beth and I and our children now we've got one or two choices we can either bring that child in and not worry about what's in that bag and love that child or we can say we don't want let me bring some some of you tonight quit sniffing around somebody trash bag quit sniffing you're trying to find out what's going on in their life we're trying to find all the ins and outs do you love them or do you not love them are you Kyle you are you're not darling are you at the starlet or are you not apostolic hey man get your nose out of my trash it's my trash don't tell me to get rid of what's in this bag when you don't show me anything that's better than what I've already got and see what thing you tried oh my god looks like you Oh looks like you're the trash bag and then the sad thing is when you should be in here praising God you're back in a corner somewhere talking about the above you're trying to get go of what God's trying to do in their life I pray in 2020 God fill this building up with trash Mac I pray in 2020 God feels us I pray in 2020 he says people beside you that scares you out of your mind oh my god I wonder what they've been oh my god I wonder what they are doing oh my god I wonder what they're gonna do oh my god you maybe see there's a lot of folks that don't mind throwing something in the trash bag do they think the person needs but they don't want to rejoice if they pull stuff out that they don't need I'm just not sure I need to find out who they are I need to do a check a background check on maybe I give it about three or four weeks and then take the pastor or one of the pastoral team couples out for supper and find out the details on the person then you don't love them anyhow if you can't love them when they walk in here with their trash if you can't rejoice with me with my trash in my hand then don't rejoice with me when I lay it down cuz if if you're always snooping around trying to find out what's going on in my life you me see all these P caves in here tonight preachers kids they were so thankful for all these preachers kids I love every single one of them their fathers or grandfather's or somebody back we're down the line or pastors or evangelist or missionaries and we're so thankful that they're here night you're going snow ski and you're going trampoline and you're gonna do all kind of stuff this week it's gonna be a great time I know how he is at home I know the battles that you face at home I know how it feels like to be raised in a pastor's home I know that may not eat they say you live in a glass box it's all the time folks want to condemn everything you do you can't have a smile on the face and God for pietà you have a little trash in the bag when you come to church because uh preacher's kid there's so just around the corner out there and they're just looking for you to mess up they're just looking for you to say oh I found something wrong I'm gonna tell you what that pastor preaches it but their kids don't live it let me tell you preachers kids something tonight don't you ever walk away from God nor his house because there's somebody sitting in the pew better love you we've got some trash every once in a while there's some people in the pew better care for here they are you wonder what you don't want on it's like an item this is all they got do you want me you're not wanna think you'd handle it oh yeah we can handle it I'm gonna sit a minute first Apostolic Church this man needs help this this man is going through some tough things in his life I know if I'm just get him through the doors of that building out there those folks won't care what he looks like I was in church a few Sundays ago God has blessed us recently my lord God's blessed us and he has said family and singles in our church I mean they don't know anything about Jesus anything I preach they're up on their feet I mean he didn't have me they just glorified God they're pretty I think I'm the best preacher they heard me to preachers yet I mean they just think oh you're so good let it go downplaying that when you hear a few more you change your mind but thank god you're here right now they'll shout out up at the front glorify God praise the name of Jesus just a few Sundays ago one of those new converts I was standing in the center aisle with him and truth and I'm standing there after we had a one more time on a Sunday morning and he was so excited about what he was telling me about that he got so excited that he cursed he was talking about how good god was any curse and I said well praise the Lord hallelujah thank you Jesus glory to God Jehovah Jireh my friend I said everyone I can say the trellis slips up me and epic tabularium when he picked something else out next time oh brother Carnot what did you do oh I see I'm gonna tell you what I did with him I said listen we don't have that kind around here we don't have that kind here now you can get your filthy mouth come on go get your filthy mouth and you gonna get your tail right on no sir I didn't absolutely not because he needs to be in that church and I need him to be in that church next Sunday I saw him walking right on in he's got a little trash left but it came walking right on down to about the second for you here he come and all but I was so glad to see him I was so glad to see him I was so glad to see him oh thank god what God's doing in his life look what the Lord is doing in his life look how good Cosby into him but Patrick God is - hallelujah look at your neighbor and say rejoice rejoice with me look at somebody say rejoice with me somebody say rejoice with me now listen if I have to how we rejoiced by myself but according to the Word of God God's people is to rejoice when the sinners has would you forgive me God the children of God are to rejoice Zacchaeus say what Zacchaeus it mean he's coming back my way if I can just see him all I want to do is see him that's all I got a booth the Bible says Zacchaeus a tax collector he ran before and the Bible says he climbed up a tree if a sinner is willing to climb a tree to get forgiveness cane a saint rejoice when God gives a dog oh come on brother garnet you knew better than dad me to preach somethings don't get me off my feet I don't I'm not required to preach anything to get you up off your feet if you've been forgiven won't get you off your feet you definitely go get from here to glory with the Trump of God cells I will tell you if you can't get above your feet think about what God did when he forgive you he climbed the tree he said I just want to see Jesus passed by it's what he stopped and Sunday school years ago when I was a kid this is what they used to sing I don't remember cupcake and kool-aid because this fat ball would remember stuff like that when I was kid but I do remember Zacchaeus was wee little man in a wheel and a man was he he climbed up in a sycamore tree for the Lord he wanted to see and as a saviour passed that way he looked up in the tree for some reason a sunday-school teacher said come down I'm going to your house tooth day for I'm going to your house to day I didn't understand all that when I was a kid but I will tell you when I came down to an altar at 14 years old I kind of had a little clear understanding of what Zacchaeus felt when it seemed like he was climbing a tree and there was no hope but Jesus stopped by and Jesus said I'm not going to their house I'm bypassing the Pharisees they paint they got it all figured out but Zacchaeus I'm going to your house rejoice not against me all my enemies for when I fall I shall you know what the rejoicing group in this field of the night needs to rejoice as much as the murmur of food when we make mistakes oh I said the rejoicing crowd in this building tonight means to rejoice as long or longer than the murmuring group standing on the by wings oh I know where you've been but I know God forgive me oh I know what you used to do Oh forgiven oh I know what you used to do oh but I'd forgiven oh I know what you used to go oh but I'm forgiving sister Bridget was bound she was drug-addicted she had been to many different rehabs to try to get off this drug she has a mentor that was working with her to try to keep her in line but she met another lady in our church sister stone and sister stone told her so don't will tell you from personal experience I know that you got mentors in the world to try to help you and I know you got rehabilitation centers to try to help you but there's one named Jesus Christ can can do more than just help you he can deliver you she walked in church with sisters to home one night she didn't look like the rest of us she didn't sound like the rest of us but on about her third trip she made her way down to an altar and those ladies at the Pentecostal lighthouse church got around her so they should get the Holy Ghost at night no because I started telling our folks back home we're missing the point if we're just waiting to restate worship and praise God and rejoice when they get the Holy Ghost we're missing the point because they for a penis moves heaven you know God delivered her I mean I heard not has been delivered from things like that just keep your hand up for just a minute you've been delivered don't ever forget you been delivered I said don't ever forget you been delivered when that person walks in that that the flesh wants to say things that really you know the flesh shouldn't say go back to what God did for you and then rejoice with helmet for the carnet this is a bad world you better believe it it's been always been a bad world it was a bad where I would eat took her something that she should've taken of this is a bad world it was bad in Sodom and Gomorrah and we live in the 21st century now we're in a new decade and it's not gonna get any better it's gonna get worse but that don't mean the church has to lay down and conform to what the world is trying to get the church to conform to when there's a God in heaven this is a lit blood and all you've gotta do is just lay down you see somebody clap your hands right now and rejoice with your neighbor come on rejoice with your neighbor there's some new converts in this place it would do them good is somebody went to him and took him by the hand instead you know rejoice and by yourself right now I'm only just with ya I'm gonna Joyce with you rejoice with me oh I know I know we are rejoicing but I just can't get past what they said when they left oh so you gonna play the part of the brother that made the right decision in state home he heard his conversation of his brother talking to his dad when he said dad I'm leaving and I want what belongs to me he watched his brother as tears rolled down his face when he saw his brother leave and say this is not the life for me I'm going to a far country you know the story as long as he had money he has friends as long as he can throw out the cash he's got all the ladies and all I can buy all the rounds of drinks everybody knows his name but when famine had come in the land he didn't run out of his finances he finds himself in a hog pen feed the swine all along the brother the older brother that's us stayed home we loved this man of God when we heard him say things against this man of God but you know what we did we stayed home we've been faithful for years when they said we'd never build this building guess what we stayed home and we give and we worked and we prayed and we cried and just a couple of months ago he was dedicated to the Lord we stayed home now now I'm a choir member now I teach Sunday school but I remember that brother of mine he broke our hearts when he walked out those doors he broke our hearts to have the old sanctuary when he walked out those doors I've heard it heard him save rumors about our pastor and our pastoral team I've heard you say ugly things about the Sunday School Superintendent I've heard him run down the Apostolic Faith did you believe they're going to a denominational Church that don't even believe Jesus is God I'm gonna tell you preacher Garnett what I did I stayed home all these years I worked all these years I label all these years praise the Lord I'm thankful you stayed home but you didn't stay home to have bragging rights you stayed home to clean up the trash when he comes back I'm gonna tell you some what I feel the Holy Ghost tonight it's already happening it was happening for I got here but I want to confirm something tonight gonna be happening long when I'm gone God is continually sitting people to this church because people in this church understand that God forgives all see you I watched him walk I know what it feels like more holier than thou folks oh you're just a bunch of judgmental people yeah when I left y'all just started talking about me that's not true we went for you don't judge don't judge the majority of Apostolic people by a handful of folks that are just Pharisees standing back in a corner burning in my spirit is when some folks want to judge the whole church by the fifteen or twenty that's half the foyer that don't know one song song one message preached don't know who is praying in the older don't know who is baptized who got the Holy Ghost if you want to judge us correctly get only the sanctuary where there's five 600 people let's rejoice eaten together walked out of here you walked out of here yeah turn your keys I know how that feels more than one time and I'm gonna tell you as a pastor it is a terrible feeling it's a terrible feeling to have teas turned in and then after I've been beaten lash by the tongue of folks that are disgruntled in the church that just didn't want to live the way the Bible said lil wanna tongue turn their tongues on me and my wife and my children did they'd have to go crawl into my pastor and have to hear him say it's not you they were against Sean it's not you they were against that's not you they just didn't want this lifestyle it's not you and the whole time my pastor Congress telling me this on the phone I'm thinking I just don't do good enough maybe I don't have the energy that I used to have man me and they turned in their keys they took the whole family out of the house of God we work with and we dedicated their children we baptize our grandchildren and now they're out in a denominational Church and saying they still believe oneness you don't believe oneness sitting in a denominational Church don't call yourself one God sitting in a church with a woman a man is teaching the Trinitarian doctrine in the Bible back yet there is no Trinity he's God in the father he's got in the son he's got in the Holy Ghost hallelujah the gun I feel like somebody's gonna leave Rajasa that's left this church down the street years ago I believe with everything in my spirit there's gonna be a welcome home reunion in the year 2020 I'm gonna tell you something you can feel it when you drive up in the parking lot you can feel it when the building is half full you can feel it hey laughs I watch the walk I watch them turning the keys i watch how the bird and my pastor's wife was how I watch that she weapon at altar which he should have been weeping over that what's wrong with him I'll tell you what's wrong with them they set more than one week more than three weeks more than six weeks more than two or three months they set for a period of time and every time the man of God would preach they would shove it away I think it was a spoiled bowl of collards that they didn't want to put their hands here and they said I don't like the word of God anymore and then they come and said I've got all the blessings I think the church and God can give me so i'mma leave I got a good car when I didn't have one before I got a good job when all I was was a drug addict I come in the church didn't have nothing I was homeless didn't have a job couldn't keep a job didn't own a house sitting on the car didn't own anything but after about two or three years huh I got a steady job I was able to get my credit right I got a good house I'm driving a fine car everything is going way off but you know I've got all the blessings I think I get from this church so pastor you just give me what belongs to me and I'm walking out of here don't you know I left my believin some of their people and never forget me you better believe we'll never forget you and they walk and they walk and as long as they got things they gonna stay out of the church and as long as everything's going good they're gonna stay keep their distance and as long as everything's are going great they're gonna send word I'm not going back to that Holy Roller Church no this is a new day people do things differently nowadays oh we're just gonna do things casual kind of church now no we're still an apostolic kind of church now Oh we'll just go we're gonna hang out here but eventually ladies and gentlemen when their money's run out the devil's gonna hand them a trash bag now this is really what I brought you out here if you think for one minute I brought you out here the bless you you have lost your mind if you think for a minute young person that you left the church because I was gonna bless you oh yeah I know she lured you out of the church I know that young man took you out of the church I know you didn't like what pastor told you when he told you you shouldn't be dating her she hasn't been in the church long enough pastor said about that my mom and daddy told me I could date them there's the problem right there the mom and dad it should be in agreeance with the pastor and what he told the kid then I feel the preaching this house tonight watch the walk spend everything they have and when you're done spinning and you don't have any other blessings that God has poured out on you the only thing Satan's got for you as a trash bag you drive by the church here on the hill and you see the beautiful big steeple and all the cars around this parking lot we drove up tonight at 10 minutes to 7:00 and the parking lot was full and my youngest who just started singing solo she said dad I don't know if I want to sing tonight I said honey we ain't singing for these people we're singing for God I don't care I mean he's in the house the building was full tonight before 7:00 a.m. oh God how God is blessing your ride by the church and your all you gots a trash bag you can't hardly make ends meet now you lost your job you're working a temporary job because you were sorry on the last one you come in late called a drunken stupor you're falling right back in the same ol mess you were before you came to God the first time and you're in a hog pen and you're debating water my god it and here's where I want to get tonight you may be seated what am I going to do I'm gonna tell you tonight I may be a little too parallel I really maybe a little too parallel night and I mean I ever come back or ever get priests asked to preach anywhere else but I'm telling you ladies and gentlemen tonight I am tired of modern-day Pentecostalism I am so tired of it I don't hardly know what to do I am ready for a book of Acts church that he had our cities that turns our communities upside down I'm ready for life-changing services not one time a month but every time we get together somebody give them the to be one of my favorite mr. half Brianna I love all the songs they sing back home about about whatever they sing about praise the name of Jesus it's all good to me I thank God for every song I don't know half the words but I worship with them I thank God for but I'm telling you what ladies and gentlemen I am desperate for somebody to come back home if all they got some bag of trash then that's don't tell them the tough times your face but you just got down here with them and said you know what if you can rejoice over what God's forgiving you up then certainly I can rejoice with you if you think for one minute it's not a battle yes it is it's a battle for these preachers kids to hold back the bitterness in their heart when they've been faithful to their mother and father if you don't they bitterness tries to creep in to a young girl Amen sister Erickson if you don't think of bitterness strips in when she was 12 and 13 years of age I was in their home when it started I know some of the events that took place of why she's playing the keyboard tonight I saw people walk away they were shouting one revival and they were gone two weeks later and then had to tell finally 12 years old go up in your room and play keys for an hour I've seen tears fall down her face cuz she didn't want to go practice the keyboard but could it be it wasn't about the keyboard but it was about the people that left the church and restrained her mom and dad and shredding the saints of God got to get on the keyboard practice for now you got to play songs that you get nervous over I didn't sing a lot of songs years ago when filings started playing you know why cuz I knew it made her nervous she won't know what we were singing what key will be gonna sing any I'm not making fun tonight I'm just telling you the rough spots people I put in it when folks just say I'm leaving here then they think they're leaving and life's gonna be better when they leave the house of God they're gonna need the church more after they've left then they did while they were here I watch them grow up I know what it feels I see the response I watch them leave it looks like they got everything they took everything they could take from us and they left just look at them go you have to keep working in the church day after day week after week with folks that you're missing sitting on pews in your area and you pray and you fight that feeling of I hope they never come back man they were troublemakers all they did was stir the pot I hope they stay keep their trash widow brother Garnett kind of getting intense tonight this is how a real food with people feel from time to time that brother back home he did everything dad want him to do he worked on that farm every day pulling to wait now till finally one day the
