We love them and thankful for Beckham turning 10 today. Isn't that something? It was snowing when he was born. He was the one and brother Carpenter and him had had some grandchildren, but Beckham was the one who made Dorcas and I grandparents. So, we love him and can't believe he's double digits. And uh and this my how time flies by. And then we were here today to dedicate Channon. They've already said all the things I said about that and and uh but we're glad to get him dedicated and and of course this Beckham's birthday is chanting getting dedicated. But every day belongs to Hampton. Every every day is Hampton's day. And uh and if you don't believe that, I don't know where you've been, but uh every day is is Hampton's day. And uh so we we honor them and thankful for them. and and I'm thankful for Dorcas and all that she does and what she represents in our life. And to my parents, their memory, to Dorcas's parents, uh Bishop uh Bishop's memory, and to her mother is still alive. I'm thankful. We have a tremendous church back home, New Life Apostolic Church. And and uh I love those folks and I'm thankful for what the Lord is doing there. and uh they baptized one today and I'm just grateful for all that the Lord is doing there. Amen. Amen. And uh I want to pause as well and give honor to Steve Mayo right here on the front, the Mayo family. And uh he is the father. I know you know this to our son-in-law Elijah. And we love Autumn and Elijah. Thankful for their ministry and all that the Lord is doing through them. And they have Emery and Judah and and uh and uh 40 baby. He don't like to be called 40 baby anymore. And uh but they have Tatum as well. And Steve, I don't know if you've seen this picture. They got a picture they might could share with us. This is that's Judah. Have you seen this picture? You seen it? That's Judah, our our grandson. And uh that that is his uh cousin in Texas. and they were having prayer meeting uh last Wednesday night and uh they were praying and Jude had been praying and they finally just reached over and uh that's that's John and Carla Dean's daughter that's Steve and Pat Wilson's granddaughter and uh John JD took his hand took Judah's hand and laid it on on her head and when he laid hands on her she started speaking in tongues Praise God. >> So we have no greater joy. Amen. There's nothing like saying that praise laid hands on you. >> You got the Holy Ghost. Amen. God's good, isn't he? >> Amen. I don't want you guys to leave before I'm through tonight. So, what time you want to leave? And uh I uh I hope that food's clean. That was a That was a horrible sales tactic, brother. I just want to tell you that's like, Amen. I love the Lord. I'm thankful for his many blessings. He is so good. It's a privilege to be here. It's an honor to be able to serve God in the capacity that we have been afforded. I have a great Christian heritage. I'm so thankful. This church has been a blessing. I I know Zach. I I believe he's been a blessing to you guys. And uh but I this church has been a blessing. There's several from this church who serve at our church and we're thankful for that. Genesis 49 and 33 is where I want to start tonight. And uh and uh somebody said I need to respond to what brother Carpenter called me this morning. And uh he called me a stump. And uh I don't even know how to respond to that. >> I really don't. I call me a trunk. Trunk. He called me a stump though. If you if you were here doing movement a couple of years ago, I've been called worse. >> And uh he didn't do it, but I've been called worse. Genesis 49 and 33. And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed and yielded up the ghost, and he was gathered to his people. 50 and one. And Joshua or or or Joseph uh Joseph fell upon his father's face and wept upon him and kissed him. And Joseph commanded his servants, the physicians, to embomb his father. And the physicians embalmed Israel. 40 days were fulfilled for him. For so are fulfilled the days of those which are embalmed. And the Egyptians mourned for him three score in 10 days. And when the days of his mourning was passed, Joseph spake to the house of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found grace in your eyes, speak I prayed thee, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying, My father made me swear, saying, Lo, I died in my grave, which I have digged for me in the land of Canaan. There shalt thou bury me. Now therefore, let me go, I pray thee, and bury my father, and I will come again." And Pharaoh said, "Go up, bury thy father, according as he made thee swear." If you look at verse number two, it says, "And Joseph commanded his servants, the physicians, to embomb his father, and the physicians embombed Israel." Now you know this story. Joseph is sent ahead. He is uh there to preserve life, not only the life of his family, but for all of Egypt and really all the then known world. The Lord used him mightily. But then his father Jacob and his brothers show up and they're they're given goan and they live there and and they prosper. But then the time comes when uh Jacob his his father dies. And I've read that to you in 33 of Genesis 49. Joseph or Jacob had made a end of commanding his sons. He gathered up his feet to the bed, yielded up the ghost, and was gathered to his people. Joseph is is devastated by this loss because he's he was away from his father so long. But then two says verse two of 50, chapter 50, it says, "And Joseph commanded his servants, the physicians, to embomb his father, and physicians embombed Israel." It's a little bit of a morbid title, and we'll get better as we get get through this, but I want to talk to you for a little bit tonight on embombing Israel. Inbombing Israel. God of heaven, I love you. I thank you for all that you've done. I thank you for all that you're going to do. God, I believe on this third Sunday night of the new year, this January the 18th of 2026, somebody's going to be able to write this down in a book and say, "That's the night that I let go of some things. That's the night I move forward. That's the night I made up my mind that this year was not going to be like every other year. So I pray God that you would just reach down do a work that is exceeding abundantly above all that we could ask, think or believe or hope for. We ask it all in Jesus name. Everybody said amen. >> Amen. >> Look to your neighbor and say inbombing Israel. >> Israel. >> That's a morbid title, isn't it? That's not what you come to hear about on a Sunday night. But we have Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jacob also has the name of Israel. Jacob passes away. And in our scripture text in verse number two of Genesis 50, the physicians inbombed Israel. And then it goes on, if you're a Bible reader or if you're not and you'd like to read it maybe after I'm through, but uh it goes on to say that that Joseph was able to take his father and he buried him in a cave at the end of a field. And the others that are buried there are Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca. And then they bury Jacob or Israel there. And Jacob is buried beside Leah, not Rachel. >> Rachel is the one he loved and worked the long years for. But Leah was the one who was the most productive for him. So the Lord allows him to be buried by the one that was productive. The thing that is impressive to me is that you have Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob or Israel, and they're all buried in a cave at the end of a field in Canaan. They're not buried just anywhere because if God is going to give his people the promised land, he is going to make sure that their forefathers are buried there. So when you look at Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, they're buried in Canaan in a cave at the end of a field. There's Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebecca, Jacob, and Leah. Because in Canaan, the covenant is buried in the promised land. Everything about God's people is wrapped up in Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. and they're all buried in the promised land. It's going to take us a minute, but we'll get there. In case you don't know what inbomb means, I think they have the the uh definition for us up here somewhere. It is to preserve a corpse from decay originally with spices and now usually with arterial injection of a preservative or to preserve someone or something in an unaltered state. That's what inbombing they do that on a regular basis unless you choose uh not to. But uh most people are invol are inbalmed and it is just what it says. It's uh it's taking a corpse and it's preserving it from decay. They originally did it with spices and now usually by arterial injection of a preservative. But it's also to embalm something is to preserve someone or something in an un an an unaltered state. And so that's what the physicians did to Israel. Everybody okay? I know it's a morbid subject. You don't even want to talk about it. But then I looked at this and it said to preserve and then I got stuck on preserve. And I think they've got that for us somewhere on one of these many screens. Just preserve. If you look at preserve, it actually is, if you break it down a little bit, it's just it just means preserve. I don't guess we have that Jesus name somewhere to be found. Maybe not. But to preserve something is alto also means to to preserve it. That'll mean something here in a moment. You might wonder how in the world did we get to this morbid subject. Let's just figure that out. Genesis 25 and 19. It says in there, "And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son. Abraham begott Isaac. And Isaac was 40 years old when he took Rebecca the wife and the daughter of Bethul, the Syrian of Pedanaram, the sister of Laban the Syrian. And Isaac entreated the Lord for his wife because she was bearing the Lord was intreated of him. And and Rebecca his wife conceived and the children struggled together within her. And she said, "If it be so, why am I thus?" And and she went to inquire the Lord. I just want to pause and tell somebody just because you're blessed it doesn't mean you might you might not have some struggles >> because the devil's not going to sit aside and just watch you be blessed. There's going to be some struggles. So she inquired the Lord and the Lord said unto her, "Two nations are in thy womb and two manner of people shall be separated from thy boughs and the the one shall be stronger than the uh the other people and the elders shall serve the younger." That's still true. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red all over like a hairy garment. And they called his name Esau. And after that came his brother out. And his hand took hold of Esau's heel. And his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was three score years old when she bare them. And the boys grew. And Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field. And Jacob was a plain man dwelling in tents. And Isaac loved Esau because he did eat of his venison. But Rebecca loved Jacob. And Jacob saw pottage. And Esau came from the field. And he was faint. And you need to be careful what you negotiate when you're faint. >> And Esau said to Jacob, "Feed me, I pray thee, with the with with that red pottage, for I am faint." Therefore was his name called Edom. And and Jacob said, "Sell me this day thy birthright." And Esau said, "Behold, I am at the point of death. And what profit shall the birthright do to me?" And Jacob said, "Swear to me this day." And he swear unto him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils. And he did eat and drink and rose up and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. You know this story. You know this story. Our seven and eight year olds can tell this story. You know it well. How did we get here? Isa and Rebecca have two sons. You got Jacob and Esau. And Esau sold his birthright. And you look at chapters 27 and 28 of Genesis. Jacob not only buys the birthright from Esau. He ends up stealing the blessing. >> That's right. >> So he buys the birthright, but he steals the blessing. And then because of that that mischievous uh spirit that he had uh that Jacob that he grabbing suppler, that deceiver, he flees for his life and and he runs to Laban's house and and he's there for 20 years and that's where he works. And he works seven years and he's tricked and he ends up with Leah. Then he works seven more years and he gets Rachel and that must have been a tough 20 years. You got two crooks on the same farm. Neither one of them tell the truth. Really? You got Jacob. His name means suppler and he'll grabber. He's here because he stole the blessing, >> bought the birthright, and neither of these guys, Laban, nor Jacob, can tell the truth to save their life. But then there comes a time when it's time for him to be separated from his father-in-law and to go back home and and and of all people, you don't ever read in this 20 years where uh Jacob ever prayed, never worshiped. All he did was just work and help everything grow there and he had two wives and have children. And God begins to bless him and it's time for him to go home and and uh Layman decides he's going to do him some harm and and God steps in and and defends this deceiver. It just mesmerizes me. It gives me hope. >> If God will defend him, surely every now and then he'd step up and defend me. But he gets he gets he gets headed back home and this journey is started in Genesis 32 and 24 and and Jacob was left alone and there wrestled a a man with him until the breaking of the day and when he saw that he prevailed not against him he touched the hollow of his thigh and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint as he wrestled with him and he said let me go for the day breakth and said I will not let thee go except thou bless me." And he said unto him, "What is thy name?" He said, "Jacob, you know what my name is?" And he said, "Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel." You're going to go from being the heel grabbing suppler, the deceiver, the liar, the trickster, and you're going to be called Israel. For as a prince has thou power with God and with men, and has prevailed. I'm gonna give you a name change, but I'm going to change the way you walk, too. >> So, when you get baptized in Jesus name, you ought to walk a little different. >> Amen. >> You ought to be easy to track. >> You may not have could have found this deceiver before, but after this encounter, you can find him because he's easy to track. He's got a little bit of a >> a limp. That's right. >> You can find him now because and he's worth finding now because he's not a heelgrabbing, suppler, deceiver, trickster. >> He's got a name change. This is Israel. >> He is a prince with God. He has prevailed. He has power with God and men and and has prevailed. And Jacob asked him and said, "Tell me, I pray thee thy name." And he said, "Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name?" And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Pineel, for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. Everyone say preserved. >> And as he passed over Pineuel, the sun rose up upon him, and he halted upon his thigh. So, pineal is what Jacob called it because he said, "I've seen God. I saw God." Everyone else would call it pineuel. And that means God was seen there. I want to call it I want to have my own personal testimony. I want to be able to call it pineal because I saw God. >> You can call it what you want to. You can you can call it pineu because I said he was there or either it can become pineal to you because you saw him yourself. >> Therefore the children of Israel eat not the senue which shrank which is upon the hollow of the thigh unto this day because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh and the senue that shrank. So you know this right? You got this. So, Jacob is Israel and Israel is Jacob. They are the same person, but as they go through different seasons, as he goes through different seasons of his life, he gets a name change. I don't know about you, but I'm thankful for the name change. >> Amen. So from Jacob to Israel, he's a prince with God. Then he goes through his life and all the things that happen to Joseph and then he ends up in Egypt and and uh he blesses Pharaoh and they get Gan and the list goes on and on and but now it's all coming down to the end and we get to Genesis 48 and1 everybody. Okay. And it came to pass after these things that one told Joseph, "Behold, thy father is sick." And he took with him his two sons, Manessa and Ephraim. And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee. Are you reading it with me? And Israel strengthened himself and sat up on the bed. Are you talking about two people? No. Talking about one person. Jacob gets the news that Joseph is coming. >> But then Israel gets strength >> to bless. >> Everybody okay? Jacob, the heelgrabbing suppler trickster, he gets the news that, "Hey, the boy that God used mightily to save your family, he's coming to see you." And all of a sudden, Jacob didn't rise up. Israel >> stands up. >> The good part of this man stands up. Not the old man, >> the good man >> stands up. Then if you're following me, Genesis 48:21, it says, "And Israel said unto Joseph, behold, I die, but God shall be with you and bring you again unto the land of your fathers. Moreover, I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow. Jacob had 12 sons. Joseph and is in Egypt. And it's the time of blessing. And when it's time to bless, it's Israel >> that does the blessing. >> Are you following me? Oh yeah. >> It's not Jacob because Jacob doesn't have much to give. >> Jacob doesn't have much of a prayer life. >> He's just he's just always trying to scheme and he's got an idea of how to get one up on somebody. But then he had this God encounter >> and God said, "What's your name?" He says, "Jacob." He said, "Not anymore. >> I'm about to use you." I wonder what would happen in our churches if we could really preach it that he's the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. >> Now, I I can associate with him being the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob because most of the times I favor Jacob more than I do Israel. >> And since you're quiet, I'll help you out and say, "And such are some of you." Yeah. >> But the fact of the matter, when it comes time to bless, >> it's like Jacob said, "I can't let that old man >> bless my children. >> I need that guy that had that God encounter. >> I can't let that man that walked over there in his own strength, but there he he he he wrestled with an angel. And when he left there, he didn't leave under his own strength. He just left with a limp. And he comes back across and he crosses over the the water and he tells his family like, "Hey, something happened to me over there, but I don't have a feeling. I've got a knowing that everything's going to be all right. I come to tell somebody on this third Sunday night of this new year. >> It's time for somebody in this room to bury your Jacob. >> And inbomb your Israel. It's time for somebody in this room to make up your mind. That that old man that you used to be, he's not going to dictate what kind of person you're going to be today or tomorrow or the next day or the next year. Ever. how long God should tear it. It's time for somebody to make up your mind. We're going to call the undertaker and we're going to allow him to take the old man and just bury him. But we're going to inbomb the good part and we're going to be be reminded that God is good and he's good all the time. Well, praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. Joseph said, "Hey guys, I want you to come. My daddy's dead." >> He said, "But I want you to know who you're inbombing. >> You're not inbombing the old trickster. >> You're not inbombing the liar. >> You're not inbombing the deceiver. You're inbombing Israel. >> We're not going to take Jacob and bury him in Canaan land. We're going to take Israel and bury him in Canaan land. >> We're going to take him and bury him beside the productive person in his life. And she doesn't even really know what kind of person he became after her. >> Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost. >> I feel like God's going to do something in this room. >> Hallelujah. Let's just let's just use a little bit of Let's just use a little bit of New Testament. I didn't write all my stuff out. I just brought my Bible. And I figure every now and then we ought to preach for one But just let me tell you what the book of Romans says in Romans 6:15. He says, "What then shall we sin? Because we're not under the law, but under grace, God forbid. Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience under righteousness. But God be thanked that you were the servants of sin. But you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered unto you, being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. Whatever you yield yourselves to, that's what you obey. >> Amen. You're so I don't know how they run. How did you run in the world? I don't know how they dance. How did you dance in the world? >> I don't know how they do the things they do. And they're so committed. We once live really committed lives. We were just committed to the wrong things. >> The same energy you gave the world, if you'll give that to God, there's no telling what God could do in your life. You're talking about a God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all anything we could ask, think, or believe, or hope for. He's He's looking to bless somebody. But you got to make up your mind which part of you you going to preserve. >> Oh, pastor preached it this morning. The guy's telling about the church split that's how many years old? Just can't get past it. You know what he was doing? He embombed >> he preserved >> a a a tough time in the history of that church. And he and he was living as if it just happened. That's right. >> Some of you, you were hurt by people years ago. >> And you still talk about it like it just happened this morning. >> You've got to stop in bombing the past. You got to bury the past. And you got to preserve what's good in your life. You got to preserve. You you you got to you got to preserve. You got to you got to make it feel right. Let me tell you these saints of old that's been serving God for years. Let me tell you why they still got the joy after 50 or 60 years. It's because the same thing they felt at that initial visit to the altar, they still feel it every morning. >> Why? Because you're not saved by works of righteousness which you have done, but you're saved by the washing and the renewing and the regeneration of the Holy Ghost. >> Beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. How long's it been since you spoke in tongues? >> You say, "Well, I didn't know we could speak in tonesues as often as we'd like to." Some folks say, "Well, I don't believe that." Let me tell you, if you're in covenant relationship, God's waiting on you. >> Did you know your prayer room could become something more than a dreaded time >> that you enter in and just check the box when you've done when you're done, when you're finished. Your prayer room can become a place that when you walk by it, you can almost feel it saying, "Come on in here. >> Come spend some time with me. >> Spend some time with me." and let's see what we can do. >> I wonder how many marriages could be saved if we spent more time in prayer. I wonder how many more children. >> How many more children could receive the Holy Ghost at home? >> How many more lives could be changed? >> I don't know about you. I I'm tired of preaching about the the devil who comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I want to talk about the one that said, "But I've come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly." Is there anybody in this holy house tonight that would love to get up in the morning and it'd be the best Monday you've ever had in your life? Would you like to get here next week and say, "Hey, I've just had the best six days of my life." Let me tell you how you do it. You bury Jacob and you inbomb Israel. Come on now. There's no promise in Jacob. The promise is in Israel. >> You're inbombing the wrong thing. >> You say, "Well, they heard me." >> Bury that and inbomb the fact God that God's good. >> Well, you don't know what I've been through. But honey, you're through it. >> You say, "No, I'm not." Yes, you are. You're here and your enem is not. >> Some of you, if you understood what happens when you come to church, the only enemy you bring with you is what's in your head. Cuz in this holy house, yeah, we're together. in this holy house when they start to sing the songs of Zion, I feel Jacob say, "Hey, I'm going to have to get on up out of here cuz I I all I do is lie and deceive and supplant and and and surmise and judge." And Jacob has to go out the door. But then Israel walks in and everything Israel's got, I said everything Israel's got, it is available to the church. Let me tell you, you're not just a part of an organization. You're not just a part of an establishment. You're a part of the kingdom of heaven. And God's got a gift for you. God's got Come on. It's more than just the gift of the Holy Ghost. It's everything that the Holy Ghost brings with it. >> Hallelujah. >> Hallelujah. >> Romans 7:18. For I know that in me >> that is in my flesh >> dwelleth no good thing. Can I get an amen? >> Amen. >> For a will is present with me, but how to perform it that that which is good I find not. I'm always intrigued with this. For the good that I would do, for the good that I would, I I do not. But the evil which I would not, that I do. Now, if I do that and and I would not, there's no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Amen. If you're one of those people say, "Well, the devil made me do it." Lean on up here and we'll cast him out. >> But if you just got bad habits, you're going to have to quit those. >> Cuz let me tell you what we can't cast out. That's flesh. >> Flesh has to be disciplined. Would you pray the Lord would take this away from me? He's like, that's not what I'm doing. >> I need you to quit it. >> Need you to stop it. I'm showing my ignorance. I need you to just don't. >> Well, I don't know. Yes, you can. >> Yes, you can. >> Will you make up your mind? I I seen something a sale flashed up on on on on one of my uh uh in my emails and I I I I buy a few night products and a few things and and I got a thing that said it said they're having a a quitter sale. Do you know there was such a thing? And what it is is for people who made resolutions and they figure about this time of the month they're all quitting. For the love of all this sacred, we're going to give quitters a break. I clicked on there to see if I could get one of their sales. I'm not quitting, but I figured I'd get their deal since they're quitting. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. >> But you say, "I need deliverance." No, you need discipline. What discipline? Come on in. You signed up to be a disciple. >> And the majority of the word disciple is in discipline. >> He said when you want to be my disciple, he said you have to deny yourself, take up your cross daily, said Dr. Luke, and follow me. That's a disciplined lifestyle. This is not for the faint of heart. >> Friend, when you were delivered from the servant of sin, you just changed taskmasters, >> but this one loves you. This one's got a plan for you. This one will never do you wrong. This one, come on. I know the thoughts that I think concerning you, there are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a hope, to give you an expected end. That's the God we're talking about. But you got to make up your mind. Jacob has got to be buried. Amen. It's no more I but sin that dwelleth in me. I find in a law that when I would do good, >> evil is present with me. >> For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. But I see another law in my members, waring against the law of my my mind and bringing me into captivity. Come on, pastor. You got it. The law of sin that is in my members. Then he cries out, "Oh wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from this body of death?" The answer is Jesus. >> I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind, >> with the mind, I myself serve the law of God. But with the flesh, the law of sin, it's not saying you can do both. You have to choose. >> But if you're going to serve God, takes a madeup mind. It is the helmet of salvation. It is making up your mind that I don't care what what I used to be. That old man, he died. Amen. Amen. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Can anybody quote that for you? For me? He said, "If any man >> be in Christ, he's a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things become new." >> Could I Can I ask you this this evening? Are you still in Christ? >> If you're still in Christ, guess what? You still are new. If you get out of him, that's when the old shows up. >> But as long as you stay in him, if any man be in Christ, we think that's for the new convert. >> But what he's simply saying, if you'll stay in Christ, you get up every morning. And I know mercy is new for everybody. But his grace is sufficient. And the grace that has appeared to all men, all men is is teaching us that denying ungodly and worldly lust, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world. >> You got to you got to inbomb the right things. >> Amen. Old things passed away. >> All things become new. >> We got to preserve the right part. >> Amen. I'm going I'm going to stroll through this Bible and see if it'll help us anymore. Philippians chapter number three. I hear Paul that I may know him, the power of his resurrection, the fellowship of his suffering, being made conformable unto his death. If by any means I might attain until the resurrection of the dead, not as though I'd already attained, either were already perfect, but I follow after if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. You you you think of all that Paul's done by the time he writes this letter to the church at Philippi. And when you read that passage, he's still saying, "I'm trying to catch what caught me on Damascus Road." >> That's right. >> That's exactly >> That's what that scripture is saying. He said, "I'm still trying to apprehend what apprehended me." >> He said, "What what what knocked me off of my beast and and the there was a light that was brighter than the noonday sun." He said that changed my life so >> that I have I've made it a lifelong pursuit to try to get more of that >> that came after me. >> I wish some of us could have something stirred in our heart tonight and your heart would begin to pound out of your chest like it did that first time. >> Anybody remember that first time when the love of God, the conviction of God be to hit you? I remember brother White as a kid, I was sitting there on that pew and I'd played the drums and I'd done all the things that a preacher's kids did does and and will do. But then that preacher, he was preaching about hell and the coming of the Lord and I felt like my heart would would just pound out of my chest. I wish some of us could feel that tonight. >> But you're so blessed. You've been at it so long. >> And it's been it's been a while since the hounds of hell have been barking >> behind you. >> And if we're not careful, we'll get at ease in Zion. >> He said, "I I haven't apprehended it. I haven't arrived." Come on now. He's going to help us. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended. And I love this. But this one thing I do. Everybody say one thing. >> One thing. >> Forgetting those things which are behind >> and reaching forth into those things which are before. >> I don't know about you, but Paul needs help with his math. That's two things. He's forgetting and reaching. He's forgetting and reaching. He says it's one thing though because here's the writer. He's saying I'm always having to let go of Saul >> so I can pursue Paul. >> He said, "I'm always having to let go of that old man >> so I can reach further for the new man." >> You do remember he got a name change, right? I've all I always have to let go of the old man. It's a it's a constant battle. You say, "When am I going to ever get to the place where I'm not fighting and and dealing with trials and tests and temptation when you hear the gates click behind your heels and you're walking on goal, you'll be good. But until then, just get ready." Jesus said, "In this world, you shall have tribulation." But I love the fact he said, "But be of good cheer. I have overcome the world and I thank God that I'm going to live in the latter part rather than the former. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. >> He said, I press I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God >> in Christ Jesus. >> Somebody needs to bury Jacob tonight >> and inbomb Israel. Somebody needs to get rid of the old man >> and embrace the promises of the Lord. >> He made it into the roll call of the heroes of faith. Hebrews chapter 11 verse 21. And I believe the roll call of the heroes of faith is to build those who are struggling with our faith. >> So we know I've read it to you. The Bible says that Israel blessed his sons. But the roll call of the heroes of faith says by faith Jacob when he was a dying blessed both the sons of Joseph and worshiped leaning upon the top of his staff. Now I love the writer of Hebrews and I won't debate you on who it is or who you think it is and I just love the passage. But what I want you to know is he used the name Jacob to say by faith. But then he told you he did it leaning on a staff. And the Bible says Israel is the one who strengthened himself. So in one passage he leaves Israel out in name, but he doesn't leave him out in process. And at some point, you're going to have to learn to lean on the right thing. >> You're going to have to trust God >> that he's got a plan with all due respect to your intellect and your connections that may be better than yours. >> Amen. >> Can you believe I'm almost done? Look, look at your neighbor and say, since it's Hampton's day, Hampton asked kept asking me. He said, "How long does how long does he preach?" Cuz everything we got to make sure everything fits into his schedule. He's a busy man, got places to go, people to see. But I believe we're about to have church. You want to have a little church? >> I believe God's about to talk to you. For all of you that's just been against kind of been sitting back and mesmerized and how dare this person come in here and talk about inbombing Israel. All you're watching is Fox News and you're thinking about Israel. We're not talking about the the country. We're talking about the person. >> There is a difference. >> Mark 15 and 42. Let's wind this up. This is going to help somebody. I hope it says, "Now when the evening was come, because it was the preparation that is the day before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arya, an honorable counselor which also waited for the kingdom of God, came and and went in boldly under Pilate and crave the body of Jesus." One passage says that Joseph begged the body of Jesus. I tell you what really mesmerizes me about this is it said he's been waiting for the kingdom but you never found that he followed him. There's a lot of folks who can handle a dead Jesus better than they can handle a living one. There's a lot of folks can handle dead church better than they can handle. They said, "Let me let me have that body." It says he begged. He craved it. He came and got it. But see, the reason Joseph came and got it is he now had a dead Jesus that he could manipulate him. Let me tell you what you don't want in your life. Is a church you can manipulate. >> And if you can manipulate it, let me tell you what it is. It's dead. >> But you need a living church. >> Thank you, brother. We need a bishop. that'll come up here and kind of fine-tune us. >> Help us out. >> Let's move on. That didn't cost anything. >> Amen. And Pilate marveled if he were already dead. And calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. And he brought fine linen and took down took him down and wrapped him in linen and laid him in the supplr which was heued out of a rock and rolled a stone until the door of the supplr and Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph uh beheld where he was laid. So Jesus when he was taken down because they were in a hurry was wrapped in fine linen, put in the tomb but never inbombed. 16 and1 and when the Sabbath was passed Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salomi and had had brought sweet spices that they might come and anoint him. Very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they came into the supplr at the rising of the sun and they said among themselves, uh, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the suppler? When they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very great. And entering into the suppler, they saw a young man sitting uh on the right hand clothed in a long white garment, and they were afrighted. I'm assuming that's afraid. And he saith unto them, "Be not afrighted. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified. He's risen. He's not here. Behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee. There shall you see him as he said unto you. They went out quickly, fled from the suppler, for they trembled, and were amazed. Neither said they anything to any man, for they were afraid. So Jesus, who is grace and truth in flesh, he's the New Testament covenant, he's he dies, he's buried, but he's never involved because he's not finished. It's just it's not just what he did, it's what he's doing. They didn't have time to inbomb him because uh they were in a hurry because of the Sabbath. But then these ladies come back and if you you look at it with the sweet spices and all the different things, these ladies come back and say, "We're going to roll the stone back and we're going to embomb it." And when they get there, they're like, "Who's going to roll the stone away?" They get there and it's rolled away. I love that because when you read, you find out that there was a rock that followed them in the wilderness. And the Bible says that rock that followed them was Christ. That's the reason he didn't have a problem with getting stones rolled away cuz he's a lively stone that's moving. If he can move, can you imagine have your having your own water fountain in the wilderness? It just shows up wherever you're at. >> That's good stuff, brother. >> He's never inbombed cuz they don't have time to inbomb him cuz he won't stay dead. >> Cuz you don't need to preserve him in the tomb. cuz he's not there. >> That's the reason when we go, we worship at an empty tomb. >> Now, I'm about to preach for the next couple of minutes and you can get on board and you can have a breakthrough or you can watch some of us while we burn. But are you ready? I read this and then I remembered a passage and it's Matthew 26 and verse 6. Now when Jesus was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, there came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment. Poured it on his head as he sat at meat. And when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, "To what purpose is this waste? for this ointment might have been sold for much and given to the poor. When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? For she had wrought a good work upon me, for you have the poor always with you, but me you have not always. For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. >> I'm so happy she did it for my burial. >> She embombed me before I die. Cuz when I die, I'm not going to stay dead long enough >> for somebody to do that. >> So, I'm not just talking about inbombing Israel. I'm talking about inbombing the God >> of Israel. >> I'm talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. >> And it is so important that here's what Jesus said. He said, "Verily I say unto you, that wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this that this woman hath done be told for a memorial of her." >> Let me tell you what Mary did. Mary inbalmed him with her worship >> and praise. Amen. >> Have y'all got my word up here? I just want them to see it. That preserved. Have you got that word? I just want to I want you to see it broke down in Jesus name. >> Jesus name. Jesus. That's still not it. Let's just let me just help you. This is this is preserve. But if you just move this over a little bit and put a little dash there is preserve. You know what Mary was doing? She was preserving. >> That's so good. I can run. >> She was preserving him. >> But she was preserving him. >> Let me just tell you, it's the same thing with the negative. You're either preserving it. Well, I'm so worried about what? >> This is all we have. >> You're you're wasting energy on things that haven't happened yet. >> Some of you have so much fear and anxiety, you are preserving something that hasn't happened yet. Let me tell you what you need to do. We need to follow Mary's example and say, "I don't know why I felt led to do this, but I've had this alabaster box and I heard you were going to be here and I couldn't help myself and I understand it looks like a meeting for men, but I just thought I'd ease on in here and I'd break this alabaster box and I'd just get down at your feet and I'd just worship a little bit." And when oh, she began to worship and and and and all of a sudden there there's a sweet smelling savior in that room and all of a sudden Jesus he rises to her defense cuz everybody says, "What's this? What's this woman doing? >> She's wasting this. It could be sold and we could feed the poor." He said, "If you want to feed the poor, they're always going to be here. >> I'm not always going to be here." But let me tell you what Mary's done. >> She has done this to my burial. >> She's inbalming me. >> Amen. So let me tell you, inbombing you remain standing. Inbalming can simply be that you are preserving something in its unaltered state. So, if you want to if you want to talk about how good God's been and you want to give a testimony of the past and you're not complaining or looking for likes and pity, but it's a real testimony. How did they overcome him? By the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony. But if you'll make up your mind, I'm either going to preserve him by talking about how good he is Brother Chad, I'm going to keep talking about how good he is. You know what? The same Holy Ghost I got as a teenager is still good today and I'm almost 60. I still got joy that's unspeakable and it's full of glory. I still got peace that passes all understanding. I want to embark on that. I want to hold on to that. But let me tell you, I also want God to know that if you never do every anything else, I'm going to preserve you. >> I'm going to worship you anyway. Come on now. Some of you has got a prayer that God hadn't answered. I wonder if you could give him some pre-ervice. You can give him praise before he does it. >> Come on, Jacob. Come on, Jacob. We're burying you, but we're going to inbomb Israel. We're going to preserve the goodness of God. Come on. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Lord, I feel the Holy Ghost in this place. I feel like God's wanting to do exceeding abundantly above all. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Colossians 1:27 and I'm done. Colossians 1:27. to whom God would make known. >> What is the riches of the glory of the mystery among the Gentiles? What is it? >> Christ in you. >> The hope of glory. >> Let me tell you, my friend, I don't only want to make it. I want to enjoy the trip. >> It's not good enough for us to get it in this room and and just hold it in. We got to get it out. >> There's a lost and dying world >> that's that would love to feel what you take for granted. >> Amen. >> I don't know. I wish you'd bow your heads for a moment. I I feel I feel I feel the love of God so strong in this room that there's no reason why why why there shouldn't be several that would repent of your sins and be waterbaptized in Jesus' name and God could fill you with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He did it for a sevenyear-old on Saturday and he's still giving it away today. He's still able to do a work that is above and beyond anything you could ask, think, or believe or hope for. I don't want another year like last year. You say, "Well, it was a great year for me, but what if God's got something greater for us?" Oh, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. I want you to close your eyes for just a moment. The singers can come on. Just get ready to sing. We're going to take off here in a minute. But I wish someone and I'm going to invite everyone so that I don't I don't want anybody to feel left out. But I want you to just pray a simple prayer. God, today on this January the 18th of 2026 with everything that is within me, I'm going to bury all the bad and I'm going to inbomb or preserve all the good. It's all through your Bible. He said, "You got to think on the good things. You got to talk about the good things." Come on. Let your mind Pastor taught us this morning. Let your mind be stayed on Jesus. Come on. He's doing a work right now. That's it, sir. That's it. That's it, ma'am. That's it. You said, "But you don't know how bad I was hurt." Friend, why don't you release yourself and ever who it was that hurt you? Come on, Paul. Preach to us. Forgetting those things that are behind. Reaching forth to those things that are ahead. I press. I press. I press. I press. I press. I press. Come on. He's doing a work right now. He's doing a work right now. He's doing a work right now. That's it, sir. That's it, ma'am. Right where you're at, God's ministering to you. >> You hear the reality of all. >> That's it. That's it. Some of you haven't spoken in tongues in a while. You need to pray until you pray in the Holy Ghost. He said, "Beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." The love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Ghost. Your marriage needs the Holy Ghost. Your family needs the Holy Ghost. >> Your job needs the Holy Ghost. It needs the presence of God in it. I'm not going to involve Jacob. I'm going to involve Israel. I'm not going to preserve the past. I'm going to preserve the future of the aes you he show me your glory so I s face my angels sing is worthy There is no one Jesus is worthy. Who else is worthy? There is no one Jesus. Who else is worthy? Who else is worthy? Heat. Heat. Heat. anointing one who was you see on the throne above your heart. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Oh, heat, heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Yeah. Heat. Heat up here. Heat. Yeah. Heat. I feel like I can do this. But let me tell you something. I know there's a lot of us standing around kind of looking, but this is not just for the new folks. I believe there's a breakthrough for some of you that serve God for 30, 40, 50 years that you you believe there's certain things that's not available for you because of your past. >> You're either new or you're not. >> That's right. >> You're either forgiven or you're not. >> That's right. >> And there's no reason for you to go around being less of the salt, the light, or the witness that God's called you to be because you can't get over your past. So, with all due respect, I want you to close your eyes. I don't care how long you've been in this. But if you won't, cuz let me remind you, Jacob is not buried in Canaan. Israel is. The promise is not in your past. It's in your relationship with the Lord of glory. So, I want you to lift your hands. They're going to sing it. But there's a deliverance. Ma'am, I know I know you were hurt years ago, sir. I know you were hurt years ago, but you need to bury that tonight. And you need to embomb the goodness of God in your life. And the only way you're going to do it is you're going to have to worship and praise your way through it. When you get the worst news or when the enemy of your past, the hounds of hell come on you and begin to chase you, you got to lift your heads and say, "God's good and he's good all the time. I'm blessed and I'm highly favored. I am the apple of his eye. I will not >> preserve my past. >> I'm forgiven." >> Come on. I believe I believe there's a breakthrough right now. Come on, sir. Come on. Come on, ma'am. You know how to yield. It may have been a while, but why don't you yield to it. >> There's no telling what God will do. There's no telling. There's no telling.
