Anybody got a cry from your soul tonight? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Well, praise God. You may be seated. It's Friday night in Tennessee. >> We're believing the Lord's going to meet with us. I want to pause before I go any further. I have been praying, dealing with some different things throughout this week. And Pastor Cheser just confirmed for me >> that I'm in the right frame of mind. And I'm not talking about just for tonight. I'm talking about things that that I am navigating through. And uh and so I I I thank you my friend for obeying God. I was okay if you went ahead. Brother Cheser, brother Batson, Brother Reinhardt, Brother McGee, Brother Culmer, this ministry team. Thank you so much for this honor. the executive board, the Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Tri-State District, this local church, First Apostolic Church. We give you honor, the leadership staff, Bishop and Sister Carpenter, the Ericsons, the Hammonds, the Carpenters, the Georgia District men that are here, our superintendent, uh, Pastor Bishop Donald Weineer is here, and I'm thankful for that. And there's men here from New Life Apostolic Church in Watkinsville, and I'm glad that you're here. church back home. What a privilege it is to pastor uh that wonderful place. And I give honor to the memory of my dad and mom, Bishop Douglas and Juel Hammond, and to my in-laws, uh to the memory of Bishop Raymond Bishop, and to Sister Frankie Bishop. I uh love her and honor her and all the bishops and the Wilsons, my brother-in-law and his family's here. Mark, I love you. thankful for you. And uh and you've seen the picture of one of my heroes. And uh and I happened to be uh something to him that nobody else was. I was his only son-in-law. That's what happens when you get his only daughter. And I'm thankful for Dorcas. Thankful. Thankful for my family. Zack, Lauren, Beckham, Hampton, and Channing, Autumn, Elijah, Amberry, Judah Ford, and Tatum. And I honor all of you tonight. And I'm thankful for what the Lord is doing. Thankful that the Lord has brought us this far. >> And I'm so tore up emotionally. >> I haven't come to beat you up. I've come to tell you that we're in this thing together. And uh it rains on the just and the unjust and the sun shines on the shame. And we love to quote that scripture, but we never quite use it when we're the unjust. >> We never quite use it when we're the unrighteous. >> But I want to tell you, if you feel unjust or unrighteous, the rain still comes. The sun still shines. >> I'm thankful for that. >> Heard a lot about trans things lately. I decided to see if it was in the Bible. It's there. Satan's never created anything. He only takes what God has and perverts it. >> Cuz there was a mountain called transfiguration. That's right. >> Jesus came down after being transfigured. >> He may have been a little bit translucent. >> But he ran into a father who was transparent. >> Left with a son that was transformed. >> So what I'd love to see some of you men in this room and I love you. I'm right there with you. I'd like to see you transform >> and I'd like to see you transition into a parent. >> That's right. >> Yes, sir. >> Cuz sir, if you're trying to be your son's friend >> when you're called to be his parent, >> that will not work. >> But if you'll be a parent now, you can be a friend when they're grown. Amen. Hebrews 11:5. By faith, Enoch was translated that he should not see death and was not found because God had translated him. You can be seated. But before his translation, he had this testimony that he pleased God. >> Talking about legacy, I'm not getting started yet. I'm just seeing how the crowd is. Uh the reason we love that passage, the reason I love that passage because when you read it in the Old Testament, it says Enoch walked with God and was not >> because God took him. >> But his son was Methuselah. >> He lived to be 969 years old, the oldest man in your Bible. >> Reason he lived that long is he didn't know you're supposed to die. He'd never gone to his daddy's grave on Father's Day. His dad >> His daddy was not. >> I just wonder if there's some things in your past that your children wouldn't have to visit >> if you didn't die there, >> man. All righty. Well, here's here's here's here's my title. The David within me. It's it's up here somewhere. There you go. The David in me. Everyone say that with me. The David >> in me. It'll take me a minute to get there, but I have every intention of when we leave this room, if it's been a while since you've spoken in tongues, >> I hope we have to carry you to the car. It's been a while since you've run. I hope you lose the souls off your shoes. It's been a while since you've leaped for joy. I plan on us leaving this place absolutely totally totally changed, giving God our very, very best. Amen. The David and me, you can be seated. Romans 3:23, the Apostle Paul said, "For all have sinned. >> Come short of the glory of God." Guess how many that includes? >> All of us. If you're here and you don't say amen to that scripture, I don't know what to do for you. Because in the great big scheme of things, unless you will realize you need help, >> there's no help coming. >> For all have sinned and fallen short or come short of the glory of God. Romans 7, that same writer, verse 18, for I know that in me that is in my flesh dwelleth no good thing. For the will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would, I do not, but the evil which I would not that I do. Now if I do that that I would not, it is no more I that doeth, but sin that dwelleth in me, I find then a law that when I would do good, evil is present with me. Look at your neighbor and say, "You got a choice." >> Just because it's present, you don't have to entertain it. And every door that opens is not always opportunity. Sometimes it's temptation. And you need to have enough discernment to know the difference. >> It's not as many as are filled with his spirit, they shall be called the sons of God. He said it as many as are led by the spirit. >> You can be spiritfilled but not allow it to lead you >> and you're not a son of God. >> As many as are led by. >> So I have a choice. >> I've got to choose everybody. Okay. Psalms 51:1-19. David's prayer after Nathan the prophet calls him out and declares, "Thou art the man." >> Have mercy upon me, oh God, according to thy loving kindness according to the multitude of thy tender mercies. Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. against thee. Thee only have I sinned and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mayest be justified when thou speaketh, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen and iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desire truth in the inner parts, and in the hidden part, thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hissop, and I shall be clean. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness. Are you seeing this transition? That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, oh God. Renew a right spirit within me and cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy holy spirit away from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit. After some real repentance, there's some restoration. He says, "Then will I teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from blood guiltness, oh God, thou God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. Oh Lord, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. For thou desireest not sacrifice, or else would I give it. Thou delightest not in burnt offerings. The sacrifices of God >> are a broken spirit. >> Broken and a contrite heart, oh God, thou will not despise. Do good in thy uh and thy good pleasure under Zion. Build thy the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness with burnt offerings and whole offerings. Then shall they offer bulocks upon thine altar. What a tremendous prayer. >> But let's let's see how we got here. Everyone say the David and me. >> 1st Samuel 13:13 and 14. And Samuel said to Saul, "Thou hast done foolishly, thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee. For now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel forever, but now thy kingdom shall not continue. Are you following that? >> It is a story that almost is identical to the beginning. God wanted to establish a kingdom with the first man he chose. Now we fast forward to David. But according to this, God had every intention >> of establishing everything through Saul. But Saul did not obey God. And this is what Samuel said. But now thy kingdom shall not continue. It ends with you. The Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart. And the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people because because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee. >> I would have I would established your kingdom, but but you would not be obedient. >> So God said, I found me a man after my own heart. perfect? Absolutely not. >> But after the heart of God. >> So, let's just for a moment, let's talk about the differences between Saul and David. >> Saul is prideful. >> He's arrogant. >> He's narcissistic. >> He's beyond correction. >> No personal responsibility. >> Always someone else's fault. self-will over God's will. >> That's all. >> Every time he's asked, "Well, if you'd have been here, I wouldn't have to offer that sacrifice. >> I've done everything you said do." He said, "Well, what's that I hear?" >> He said, "Well, the people >> it was never his fault." >> He never would be corrected. He never would. But David, plenty of faults, plenty of failures, but when confronted would admit guilt, not blame others, and take responsibility. >> David would repent >> and then he didn't do it again. >> Study your Bible. Every mistake he ever made, he made it once, never made it again. >> Never went back. There was never a doover. Cuz he's a man after God's own heart. >> I'm here to help us tonight >> because when you repent, >> you'll stop repeating. And some of you have compassed this mountain long enough. >> It's time for you to truly repent and move north. Move forward. Move up. You say, "Well, I thought I repented." If you picked it up on the way home, all you did was apologize. But David was a man after God's own heart. And when he repented, he never repeated that again. >> Well, praise God. >> And if you truly repent, you'll stop repeating. >> 1st Samuel 15, that whole chapter, Saul is completely rejected from being king. 1st Samuel 16, Samuel anoints David as king. 1st Samuel 17, David kills Goliath and we hear about a lion and a bear, >> first taxiderermist >> trying to help somebody join me. >> He can't say, "I'll go fight this giant without saying, hey, I got a lion's head at home. >> I got a bearhead at the house, >> and I'm gonna do to that giant just like I did." >> Why? because that those those those animals were after >> the sheep. >> This giant is after my God. >> So he defeats Goliath. They sing songs about him. 2 Samuel 2, I'll save some of that. D David's installed and anointed to be king over Judah. 2 Samuel 5, David is installed or anointed to reign over the king over Israel. So now he's got both the kingdoms. He is king over both. 2 Samuel 6, David brings the ark home. >> He dances with all his might. I love that story. He gets home after he's blessed everybody. And Mike L said, "Well, well, >> you made a fool out of yourself today." >> And he said, "Oh, honey, you don't understand. >> If you think I was crazy getting it home, You wait till I wake up in the morning >> and I realize this isn't a dream >> and the ark of God is right outside my house. >> Honey, I'm going to have a I'm going to have a holy fifth tomorrow because just getting it here was good, but keeping it makes it a whole lot better. He said, "If you think I was happy about getting it here, you ought to see how happy I'm going to be about keeping it here. Well, well, well, well, >> well, well. >> 2 Samuel 17, you can be seated. Seated. David desires to build God a house. >> But, but the man of God says you can do it. You're a man of war. You're a man of blood. You can't do it. But what I want you to do, get all the materials together and make sure all the battles are won. So the Bible literally says that when Solomon took over that that every battle was won and he had rest on all sides. >> The kid preacher I talked about us being children of rest. And because of this that David did. Solomon built the temple. But God said he said I want to tell you something. Because you wanted to build me a house. >> I'm going to build you a house. Nobody's ever wanted to build me something like that. I've always had to suggest or command, >> but you said you'd build me one. But because of that, and I I don't want to get ahead of myself, but when you hear about the promises of God to David, you have to be careful because there's times when he's talking about Solomon, but there's times when he's talking about Jesus. Amen. >> 2 Samuel 11, the sin with Biba, Uriah's wife. You know that story. Everyone say the David in me. >> This all started, young men. Are you ready now? I'm going to help us. We're going to get happy in a minute. This all started, young men, because David didn't go to work. You can be seated. >> I said this all started cuz David didn't go to work. >> He was supposed, you know, your Bible, right? He was supposed to go to battle with the ark and with everybody else. But at a time when kings go to war, he stayed home. So the real reason he got in trouble is because he wouldn't work. And some of you are looking for a calling, but you won't work. >> And understand, Jesus never calls anybody that is unemployed. >> Every disciple was working when he called them. This is not the play of the Lord. This is the work of the Lord. This is not a way of you getting out of being responsible. Well, amen. >> Lust, >> adultery, murder, deception, a cover up, abuse of power. All of this happens. We get right here and this is when Nathan shows up and tells this cool little lamb story. And David gets all upset and Nathan says, "You're the man." That's why we get the passage that I read at the beginning. That's the reason he said, "My sin is ever before me. >> You don't have to tell me about it. It's always there." >> 2 Samuel 13. Are you ready? There's incest in David's house with Tamar and Amnan. 2 Samuel chapters 14 through 18. There's insurrection. His own son rises against him. Sends him running. His own so son turned against him and makes an absolute mockery of him. >> Everyone say the David in me. Are you feeling what I'm feeling? >> The there's a David in me. There's there's some of that in me. >> There's days when I feel like I've just killed a lion and a bear. >> But then there's other days I'm like, "Oh, I wish I hadn't have seen that. >> I wish I hadn't have gone there. >> I wish I hadn't have said that. >> If I'd have prayed this morning, I wouldn't have reacted like that at lunch. Just I look around and I wonder and all of this that's going on with David when you really look at it. If you want to look at just and take you a a legal pad, draw a line down and put Saul on one side and David on the other, Saul was probably a better moral person >> than David. But God rejected Saul. >> Because Saul would never repent. >> He would never take responsibility. >> So sir, if you're here and you're one of those men that will never break and you'll never say, "I'm sorry." And you'll never admit or take responsibility, I just want to tell you, your kingdom will not continue. >> There's no legacy where there's no repentance. But let me tell you, you can take a man that's got more problems, more struggles, more inconsistencies, but every time he's called out, he says, "God, I'm sorry, and if you'll help me through this, I'll never do it again." And he gets up and he goes on and he says, "The Lord's good." Come on. I need some men that'll do what our president told us to do. Get up from where you're at and make up your mind. You're going to serve him with everything you've got. >> They told me I had all the time in the world. I know nobody feels that way. >> I'll save you some reading, but I want to tell you David, when you read him in the Old Testament, It's just trouble after trouble. >> But then he'll have those bright moments. >> It's this, that, and the other. >> Then he'll have those bright moments. Ezekiel 14:12-23, if you're a notetaker, that's where the Lord's talking about that if uh the land sins and his trespasses, he said there's three men. If if Noah, Daniel, and Job was there, >> he said if they prayed, they could only save themselves. Guess who didn't make that list? >> David didn't make that list. He didn't make that list. We're talking We're talking about Noah found grace. Daniel had an excellent spirit. Job was perfect. David didn't make that list. >> That's right. >> But he's a man after God's own heart. >> And I won't make that list. Yeah, >> but I want to be a man. >> After God's own heart. >> I'm I am noah. I'm no Daniel. I'm no Job. >> Then you fast forward to the New Testament and we get to reading and we're happy about that Hebrews chapter 11, that roll call of the heroes of faith and David barely gets an honorable mention. We talk about everybody under the sun and we get down here and where's that scripture at? If you can put it up there for me. And what shall I more say? For the time would fail be to tell you of Gideon and of Barack and Samson and Jeffa and and and of David and of Samuel and other prophets. Really? Could Couldn't you throw him a little further up? But he just threw him in there. I mean I mean he's not far from that and others. >> He's just a few verses and others. >> A man after God's own heart. A man that God said, "I'm going to take you with all you >> and I'm going to establish >> my kingdom >> with you >> forever." Man, I so identify with David of the Old Testament. But then we crack open this New Testament. Matthew 1 and one. Here's how your New Testament starts. >> Are you ready? the book of the generations of Jesus Christ, >> the son of David, >> the son of Abraham. Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brethren. So all of this up and down and good and bad and prayers and intercession and sackcloth and ashes and begging God, we get to this New Testament >> and he is mentioned as being the father of the Messiah. Verse six, you can read it later because it says, "And Jesse begot David the king, and David begot Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias." And skip on down to 16 and 17. And Jacob begott Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who's called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations. From David until the caring away to the Babylon into Babylon are 14 generations. From a carrying away into Babylon into Christ are 15 generations. So the genealogy of Jesus, everyone say on Joseph's side. >> It starts at Abraham. >> And it goes to Jesus. >> And it's good to have a Joseph in your life. Jesus had one at the beginning, had one at the end. Joseph who was his earthly father and Joseph of Arya who he borrowed his tomb. It's good to have a Joseph to book in your life because the word Joseph means the Lord will add. >> But then you fast forward to Luke and we get the genealogy of Jesus on Mary's side. And if you're wondering why would I preach this is because my dear friend Pastor Chester has already shown the picture of the man who taught me this. It says in Luke 3:23, Dr. Luke, he needs a little more. The genealogy on Joseph's side starts at Abraham and goes to Jesus. But this genealogy, it starts at Jesus and goes the other way. It says, "And Jesus himself beginning to be about 30 years old, being as was supposed, the son of Joseph, which was the son of Eli. Let's look at 31." Look at it with me. Put it up there. Which was a son. I'm not going to murder those names for you. >> Which was a son. which was a son which was the son of Nathan which was the son of David. So when you get into the genealogy on Mary's side is not there. Are you with me? >> Trying to see if I can get the theologians just denied. That's all I'm trying to get. to get you theologians to nod. And I you're not going to change my mind. The man you'd argue with is dead. I've got a sneaky suspicion the Lord showed Raymond Bishop more in his his his his dining room table and study than most of us will ever anyway. So when you look at this, we've got the genealogy on Mary's side. Solomon's not in it. You say, "Well, preacher, his contributions to scripture, he built the temple." That's right. He gave us Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Songs of Solomon. We love to preach that last part of the Ecclesiastes. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God and keep his commandments. It's the whole duty of man. But if you go home tonight or sometime in the future, read First Kings 11. Solomon's heart was turned. >> And it was turned by the women that God told him to leave alone. And it so turned him that God spoke to him several times. And as it was if it was it was as if Solomon had never heard the voice of the Lord. And he built he built altars and shrines. And the list goes on and on to all of the gods of the women that he loved. So, in the back of my mind, I hear my father-in-law say, "The foolishness and folly of Solomon in his latter years was not in the bloodline of Jesus." >> Amen. So Solomon was not in the DNA of Jesus on Mary's side. He's only listed in Joseph's genealogy. Everybody all right? >> But Joseph had nothing to do >> with his conception. >> He contributed nothing physically. She was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost. >> He just obeys what he heard from the angel and takes her >> and he obeys and he protects him and he takes care of him. But when it comes to the blood, >> David had a lot of trouble. He had a lot of situations, >> but there wasn't a woman, there wasn't a position, there wasn't anything in his life that would cause him to ever bow a knee to an idol. >> And we'll bow down to anything that makes us uncomfortable. But I just want to tell you the savior of my life, he didn't have that foolishness in his genealogy. Is that all right? All the theologians give me that one eye. Huh? Let me just let me help you a little more. Let me help you a little more. 37 and 38, which was the son of Methuselah, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleel, or however, which was the son of Canaan, which was the son of Enus, >> which was the son of Seth, >> which was the son of Adam, >> which was the son of God. So when we get when we get the genealogy of Jesus through Joseph, it starts with Abraham and it goes to Jesus. >> But when we get it on Mary's side, it starts to at Jesus and it goes back to Adam. >> Cuz Joseph's blood wouldn't help anybody. But you get the pure blood from the one that it was prophesied that you will bruise his head and he will bruise your heel. Well, praise God. So listen to this. The genealogy of Jesus on mother's side on on Mary's side goes from Jesus to Adam and the Bible says which was the son of God. So he's not just the son of David. He's the second Adam >> with the same DNA DNA as the first Adam in order to redeem all mankind because it didn't come on. The covenant started with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But sin started with Adam. And when God when God got ready to make all things right, he took it all. So when Jesus says, "Pastor, a greater than Solomon is here," you have no idea why. Because Solomon's not in this body. idolatry is not in this body. That's why that blood works. Why? Because it came from a man after God's own heart. And if you'll learn how to repent, there's no telling what God will do. >> Hallelujah. >> Hallelujah. >> Hallelujah. >> Well, I'm starting to feel a little something here. All of you, all you theologians winking at me. Zechariah 12 10-14 verse 12 it says and the land shall mourn every family part the family of the house of David apart and their wives and the family of the house of Nathan apart and their wives apart. So Zachchariah confirmed that Nathan is in the lineage Solomon's not there. And then there's the New Testament references of the son of David. Matthew 1, the son of David. Matthew 9:27, the son of David. Matthew 12:23, son of David. Matthew 15:22, son of David. Matthew 20:30, son of David. Matthew 20:31, son of David. Anybody happy? Matthew 21:9, son of David. Matthew 21:15, son of David. Matthew 22:42, son of David. Mark 10:47, son of David. Mark 10:48, son of David. Mark 12:35, son of David. Luke 1:32, son of David. Luke 18:38, son of David. Luke 18:39, son of David. Romans 1 and3, son of David. The title, son of David. It it it signifies that Jesus is a descendant of ge of day of David which is is the way that we establish the credentials that he is the Messiah. >> That religious establishment of that day they hated that term. Call him anything but the son of David because when you say he's the son of David that he's that means he's Messiah. That means he's God in a body. That means he's that means he's the fulfillment of everything in the Old Testament. When you call him that, I just want to tell you, I'm getting happy feet right now to know that my God is the son of David cuz I got a little David in me. I got a little David in me. I've got some issues, but I've also got a savior. I've got some issues, but I've also got a God. Ah, >> praise God. You can be seated. We're not there yet. Peter couldn't preach the inaugural message for the s first century grace dispensation church without mentioning David. I never do this, but I need some water. I wish you had some. David in Acts two or Peter in Acts 2:22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words. >> I'm going to end with one of your favorite verses, >> but if I have to pull this wagon up the hill by myself, >> the inaugural message. This is that. >> Ye men of Israel, hear these words. Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know. Him being delivered by determined counsel and fornowledge of God, ye have taken and by wicked hands, and crucified and slain, whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death. Am I at the right, church? because it was not possible >> that he should be holding of it. >> For David speaketh >> concerning him, I forsaw the Lord always before my face. He's at my right hand that I should not be moved. Therefore did my heart rejoice and my tongue was glad. On Pentecost, David said, "My tongue was glad. Moreover also my flesh shall dress in hope because thou will not leave my soul in hell. Neither will thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. Thou has made known to me the ways of life. Thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countness men and brethren. Let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David who is both dead and buried and his supplicer is with us unto this day. Therefore, being a prophet and knowing that God has sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loins according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ, >> the anointed one and his anointed to sit on his throne. He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ that his soul would not be left in hell. Neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus Hath God raised up whereof your witnesses? Therefore, being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father, the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this which he now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens, but he saith himself, "The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou on the right hand till I make thy foes my footsto." Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God hath made this same Jesus whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were preached in their hearts, and said to Peter and to the rest of the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Here comes legacy for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are a far off, many as the Lord thy God shall call. And with many other words did he exhort, say, "Save yourself. from this untoward generation. >> Then they that gladly received it >> were baptized >> same day. >> We're added about 3,000. >> You want some fun? You can be seated. Historians say that David was born during the feast of Pentecost >> and they say he died >> during the feast of Pentecost. But the real kicker is most historians, and it's a Jewish tradition, that the room where they were meeting in the upper room, >> David's tomb was in the basement. >> That all you got? That's interesting, honey. That's not just interesting. >> Based on everything I've tried to preach to you in the last 45 minutes, that's miraculous. Cuz Peter's preaching, >> that man you crucified, he's a son of God, >> but he was also the son of David. >> And David from the basement, his bones is saying, "Amen. That's my boy. That's my boy. That's my boy. This is now." Come on. It's for you. It's for your children. It's for your grandchildren. It's for generation after generation after generation. Come on. Come on. There's some David in us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. >> Can you give me just a couple more minutes? >> I want to make sure we slap hell. right across the face. >> Hit it in the nose. >> I want us to leave victorious. >> Peter said that. But Paul on the first Sabbath, I think it was in Acts 13:16, you can be seated if you can. And Paul stood up beckoning with his hand said, "Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, fear God, give audience. The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm brought he them out of it. And after the time of 40 years, suffered he their manners in the wilderness. I'd pause to say, don't have bad manners when it comes to God. And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he divided their land to them by lot. And after he gave unto them judges about the space of 450 years until Samuel the prophet and after they desired a king and God gave unto them Saul the son of kiss a man of the tribe of Benjamin by the space of 40 years. And when he had removed him, >> he raised up unto them David >> to be their king, to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I found David, >> the son of Jesse, >> a man after my own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. >> You say, "Preacher, I've done some horrible things." >> That just means you got a little David in you. You don't know how bad I failed God. That just means you got a little David in you. If you'll repent, God's looking for you. If you'll say, "I'm sorry," God's looking for you. If you'll repent and stop repeating, God's looking for you. >> Amen. Listen to this. of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a savior Jesus. >> You knew what you was getting when you invited me, right? >> Be seated. I got a little more scripture for you. Hebrews 10 and1 for the law having a shadow of good things to come and not the very image of the thing could never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers there unto perfect. For then would not they not have ceased to be offered because that the worshipper once purged should have no more conscience of sin. But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sin every year. For it is not possible >> that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sin. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, sacrifice and offerings, thou witest not, but a body. >> You gave me a body. >> You prepared me >> a body. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin, thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book. It is written of me to do thy will, oh God. above when he said, "Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offerings for sin, thou wouldest not, neither hast thou pleasure therein, which are offered by the law." Then said he, "Lo, I come to do thy will, oh God, to take away the first, that I may establish the second." But through Mary, >> he goes back and grabs every sin >> and his restart. >> By the witch will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. >> I want to add to my friend's message. There's nobody else coming. If that blood won't work, no blood will work. And if he can't get your life straightened out, you may be beyond repair. But let me give you some help tonight and some hope. If you're breathing, God's looking for you. All you got to do is say, I want to praise you because let everything that hath breath, that saint, sinner, seeker, just praise the Lord. He inhabits. Amen. All right. All right. Amen. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering all time the same sacrifices which could never be taken away. But this man after he'd offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God. From henceforth expecting to his enemies be made his foottool. For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us. For after he has said, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, sayth the Lord. I'll put my laws in their hearts, and in their minds will I write them, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more." >> Now where remission of these is, there's no more offering of sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness, to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by new and living way, >> which he has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, >> his flesh, >> and having a high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart and full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled with from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast to profession of our faith without wavering, for he's faithful that is promised. And let us consider one another to provoke and to love and to do good works, not forsaken the assemblage together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another and so much more as you see the day approaching. >> So David, David, a man of war and blood, could not build God a house. Solomon built it. >> And guess what they did? They tore it down. >> But Jesus, >> God in a body, >> the son of David >> and a fleshly tabernacle, >> he was a man of blood. All right, I'm waiting for you to catch up. >> David couldn't build him a house >> because he was a man of war and blood. >> So, he prepared and Solomon built it. Solomon built it. It was torn down. >> It had to be rebuilt. >> And those that saw it said, "The glory of this is not like the glory of of the other." Yeah. >> But the son of David shows up >> in a tabernacle >> of blood. >> And he went and did war. >> And he won battles nobody else could win. >> And he brought victories nobody else could bring. >> And that's why we sing songs about him. >> That's why we praise him. Come on. They said Saul is slain as thousands, but David is tens of thousands. If they could sing that about David, look what the son of David did. He wrapped him. He wrapped himself in flesh. And he came down here. He's a man of blood. He's a man of war. And he has won every battle. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I'm almost done. Come on, Keith. I'm almost done. >> Hallelujah. >> Some of you saying you could have church like this if you had Keith. >> I got him. >> Thank you, brother Carter. >> John 2 18:22. Study your Bible. Jesus cleansed the temple twice. >> But the first time he cleansed it. He goes in and they said, "The Zilla of this house has eaten him up." Then answered the Jews and said unto him, "Why? Why? What sign show us thou unto us? See that thou dost these things?" Jesus answered and said unto them, >> "Destroy this temple. >> Three days, >> I raise it up." Then said the Jews, 46 years was this building, this temple in building, and will thou rear it up in three days. But he spake of the temple of his body. >> When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remember that he has said unto them, and they believe the scripture and the word which Jesus had said. So when he said, "Destroy this temple, and three days I'll raise it up." They're looking >> at what had been rebuilt >> that Solomon had built and had been tore down. >> He said, "Oh, I'm not talking about that. >> You're referencing the wrong son. >> Come on, folks. You're you're you're talking about the wrong house. You're talking about the wrong boy. You're talking about that idol worshiping boy. You You talk You talking about that boy that'll let a woman turn his heart and he'll forget what God has done. But oh no, you tear this temple down and in 3 days I'll raise it up. Because he was talking about that fleshly temple, that body. >> Hallelujah. >> So I preached all that And I've got just a couple of questions to ask you. Now, if you're not standing, you might want to. I don't know what you're going to sing. Don't care. But here's what I want to tell you. I believe with everything cuz I've had something come over me the past few weeks >> that I just can't. It starts in my feet. >> It gets in my hands >> cuz I think God is up to something. So, put your phone down. >> It's 9:05. >> I had even preached an hour. >> I want you to listen to me. If you will deal with the David, the David that is in you, >> the good, the bad, and the ugly, >> and truly repent. >> Change. >> Stop repeating. and become a man after God's own heart >> with all your soul, >> heart, mind, and strength. >> I feel like the Holy Ghost is about to fall and be manifested in a different way. >> I wish I could make eye contact with every one of you cuz I believe God's got something for every one of us. >> But everything I preach tonight, I want you to hear this, preacher. I'm headed back home tomorrow. I come to deliver this to you. I've carried it as long as I can. But I want to tell you everything I preach to you and we all can identify with the good, the bad, and the ugly of David. But pastor Ball, if there's some David in me, >> if there's a if there's some David in you, >> based on what that book says, >> and I believe it from cover to cover, >> if there's some David in you, >> lean in. You're about to get happy. >> There's a good chance Oh, there's an excellent chance. >> Oh, if you'll truly repent >> and be a man after God's own heart. >> If there's some David in you, >> there's a Jesus in your future. I I I don't know what you're waiting on. I said if you can identify that you have those problems, you have those shortcomings, if if there's a David in you, there's a Jesus. There's a Jesus. There's a Jesus. It may take a generation or two, but there's a Jesus in your future. There's a legacy. There's a heritage. There's a breakthrough. There's a better day. Sir. If you're here and you've never received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, I know you've got some shortcomings. I know you've got some issues. We all do. We've all got some David in us. But if there's a David there, there's a Jesus waiting to walk right in your life and make a difference. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. There's a Jesus waiting. you at the lowest place.
