everybody said praise the lord god bless you may be seated for just a moment of time it's a high privilege to be here tonight as a matter of fact i may allude to it in the preaching but let me just say it in the introduction why not be here there's nothing more important on earth going on than what's happening in this place right now there is absolutely nothing more important than when the people of god get together because as they have said over and over and over tonight the lord is here and he's the great i am and where he is everything that he is is there meaning that anything that jesus has ever done before he's ready to do again and he is a mighty god and i do believe that the church and one reason that i enjoy traveling and preaching and trying to inspire and elevate faith and communicate the available promises of god to the church is because i am convinced that at some point somewhere there is going to be the ignition the igniting of a spark that will create a shot that will be heard around the world i do believe that there will be a service and it may be this service tonight that god is going to burst forth with his spirit in such a way that it will be a turning point in somebody's life to never ever be the same if i didn't believe that i'd be at home holding my wife's hand about now but i believe that god wants to do something dynamic and god wants to do something incredible in this generation with all these young preachers and these churches that are moving forward in the lord now not everybody is going to have revival that'll be the most negative thing that i'll say tonight not everybody is going to have revival but jesus said blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness the only way you're not going to have revival is if you don't want it but i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it i also have been blessed by being here enjoy the fellowship and the time together pentecost is renowned for fellowship but the book of acts said they continued in fellowship and that's a very vital part of being apostolic is fellowship and there may be something that we have overlooked and i'm sure there is because the bible is inexhaustible in its revelation and i'm i'm continually seeing things that i've never seen before that's why i love the bible it's as fresh and as new as tomorrow's paper and one of the most outstanding aspects of the day of pentecost that we may not have alluded to correctly that was part of the ingredient that set the stage for the explosion of the outpouring of the holy ghost and worldwide evangelism is the fact that the bible said in and peter standing up with the 11.

it's pretty amazing that men that were not chosen that didn't have the keys to the kingdom that were not going to be preaching that day were willing to stand up in support of the man that was preaching and there's just something to be said about a unified church that god can do great and mighty works where there is a unified church let's stand for the reading of the word tonight i welcome all of my ministerial friends that have come indulge me the privilege of acknowledging two of my special young friends that are here tonight brother trey davis and brother court chavis i have to lean on brother court chavis a fellow tar heel north carolinian once a tar heel always a tar heel i'm not talking about the university of north carolina i'm talking about people that are born in the state of north carolina if you're north carolina born you are a tar heel now i know some of you need some explanation for that you understand bulldogs and stuff like that but you may not understand what a tar heel is where do we get our name tar heel it's better than being a buckeye you know what a buckeye is they'll tell you this in ohio you know what a buckeye is a buckeye is a worthless nut anybody from ohio god help you i repent uh ask your forgiveness tonight get off to a bad start during the major war of our nation when the young men from north carolina were in the intensity of battle in the heat of battle and others were retreating and running back from the enemy they said the boys from north carolina fought like they had tar on their heels they would not retreat they stuck tough to the battle i want to be a tar heel for jesus there's your north carolina history lesson i'm excited to preach to you tonight what the lord has laid upon my heart and i feel that concepts and principles of the bible if you want to know the key to success it's biblical principles it's not made man methods there are principles that will work anywhere mindsets thinking like the bible wants us to think and like the lord wants us to think that will rearrange our lives and that's what i'll be preaching about tonight i want to thank the harveys for their kindness they have treated me with such incredible hospitality and gone way out of their way to make me uh feel welcome here like bunch and breeze said i felt like i've been here make them feel like they're here you know they've made me feel like i've been here very kind enjoyed fellowship under brother corn and all you men of god i'm thrilled about these younger men that are going forward in the gospel one day i was awakened to reality just recently in a crowd of preachers that i was fellowshipping with it was startling it was shocking suddenly i realized any more just about everywhere i go and the people i run with i'm the oldest one there i'm dealing with that i used to love it when they'd say we're gonna have brother huntley this young preacher come preach for us i love that because youth covers a multitude of ignorance you know they'll say let's bless him now let's help him but you know after a while they get to feeling like you need to bless us son come on now you've been doing this for a while come on come on so after a while you can't blame youth anymore you got to grow up but these young men are astounding and that's my mission in life right now is not to leave here with my song in me if i've got a song i want somebody else singing it if i have an anointing i want to put it on somebody else and that's another message for another day to the word of god exodus chapter 1 verse 5 thank you for your kindness your hospitality it's a joy to be here i love georgia because i got the holy ghost in georgia i know this might embarrass some of you but really the people i know they don't call it georgia they call it georgie good to be in georgie and with all you high class people that live in the state of georgia we welcome you too exodus chapter 1 verse 5. i want you to notice the reading of the word tonight if you teach home bible studies you're very familiar with this passage of scripture it's in the search for truth study if you don't teach on bible studies you're missing a marvelous blessing in your life and in the lives of others there is something dynamic about teaching home

bible studies exodus chapter one and five and all the souls that came out of the loins of jacob were seventy souls for joseph was in egypt already and joseph died in all his brethren and all that generation and the children of israel which you repeat after me were fruitful fruitful and increased abundantly and multiplied waxed exceeding mighty and here's what i like and the land was filled with them verse number five now there arose up a new king over egypt which knew not joseph a new king which knew not joseph now in psalm 105 and 24 we will read another reference that is speaking directly to this time in history and notice what it says psalm 105 and 24 and he increased his people greatly and made them stronger than their enemies and there rose up a new king over egypt which knew not joseph verse 9 of exodus 1 says and he said in his people behold the people of the children of israel are more and mightier than we come on let us deal wisely with them lest they multiply and it come to pass that when they fall without any war they join also in our enemies and fight against us and so get them up out of the land and there rose up a new king over egypt which knew not joseph i want to preach to us tonight and i say us because i feel we all are in this state tonight that we need a new concept for a new king a new concept for a new king would you put your bible down and give the lord a great hand clap of appreciation tonight oh i don't want to give the message away tonight but i'd like you to turn around and somebody to say case you haven't noticed it's different now in case you haven't noticed it's different now it's different now i want to tell the devil but the devil knows that you're the one that needs to wake up to it it's different now you may be seated we need a new concept for a new king i would like to address and identify the modern day spiritual chains taskmasters and cruel whips of the new millennium church while the old testament church was in the bondage of egypt they were scourged with spiritual chains cruel taskmasters and the hot hand of their taskmasters with whips carving channels on their backs today we're facing three modern day spiritual applications of that ours are not physical but ours are spiritual here's what we're facing as an apostolic church in georgia and north carolina and around america number one is negative thinking number two is poor self-image and number three is a slave mentality now this is something that i have read i haven't proven it so i say this is theory it is said that you can place fleas into a jar with a lid on top of them and after a period of time it's possible to take the lid off and the fleas will jump no higher than their previous height they've adjusted their height by the barrier that was there it is also said that you can take a magnificent elephant at its birth tie it and tether it to a stake with a small rope and even when it grows and becomes mighty and powerful it will have adjusted the self to

bondage and will not break the rope although it would be like a sewing thread compared to his strength i've never proven those two points but i have proven this one i've been fishing and i've caught bass in the morning and i move from place to place have six or eight bass on a stringer take them out of the water move the boat to another spot put them in the water take them out of the water you do that until about 10 o'clock and then you let that stringer of fish slip from your hands i've had 10 15 bass on a stringer drug them around all day all day they've been going like this and coming back like this and coming back till finally they say you know what best thing to do here just you know just kind of go along to get along they just kind of give up and i've dropped the stringer out of my hand into the water and i thought they're gone and they just lay there floating on top of the water and i reach down and capture them again what i am preaching is this is it possible that that which once held us once restricted us at one time it did limit us it can be removed and we continue to live as though it was still in force that's the reason i told you tonight it's different now it's different now i do a lot of flying and so i have an application from the cockpit of the airplane tonight i have a message from our captain he has removed the fastened seat belt sign and we are now free to move about the cabin i'm preaching to you that you are now free to be to do to go to have anything we can believe and imagine that god can do he will do it i'm saying you can see as many people get the holy ghost as you want you can build as large a church as you want you can have as much revival as you want the limitation has been taken off our concepts will either be channels or chains they will either be blockades or boulevards they will either be weights or they will be wings see the major problem can i preach to us tonight in the apostolic church is not so much what we're doing it's what we're thinking the problem with this church is what when one man called stinking thinking that's where we are we are captivated with stinking thinking and that's the reason the holy ghost was first initially poured out in the upper room we need a baptism of the holy ghost in the upper room are you with me tonight we need a baptism of the holy ghost in the upper room we've got it in our hearts we've got it in our spirits but we need to get it in our minds we need some holy ghost sanctified brains until we start thinking like god wants us to think clap your hands and shout you out somebody now i'm one of us so i'm not speaking condescendingly tonight but i'm gonna tell you the only problem we have right now is between our ears the only boundaries we have right now are between our ears the only limitations we have are between our ears our most sinister sins are three now i know there's a lot of folks who would like for me to preach other stuff when you talk about sin there are certain sins i could name tonight that would have you on your feet running the aisles because there is an element of us that we like to say get him tear them up stick them tear the devil up tear that seeing up and there's some of them that are audience response buttons i won't tell you about them tonight but i could say this and you'd be on your feet because i pushed that audience response button and we know their sins but let me talk to you about three of our most sinister sins that doesn't get a rousing response the three most sinister sins of the church tonight are these number one is little faith number two is small vision and number three is low levels of satisfaction it just doesn't really take much to make us spiritually happy

two cold chill bumps and we're ready to go to mcdonald's one lap around the church and we're ready to go to ihop one dance in the aisle and we're ready to go get us a pizza somebody's got to come back to their feet and say but god you can do better than that you can do greater than that you can do more mightier than that i thank you for it but i want more you see we claim to be pentecostal but you may be seated but if we want to really be people of the word we're challenged to be pentecostal i said we're challenged if the day of pentecost is our role model if the day of pentecost is our example i don't know that i've ever been in a pentecostal service or not because the bible said they were all filled with the holy ghost and they all began to speak in other tongues if we want to be pentecostals from the pulpit to the door from the left to the right we gotta all get full of the holy ghost and we've got to all speak in tongues most places where i preach we can't even sing one song together one group sings the verse and the others join in on the chorus well i'll leave that right there we'll move right along everybody say little faith everybody say small vision everybody say low levels of satisfaction the bible says there arose a new king that knew not joseph now what that indicates to me is he had no association with israel's past he saw them only as they were in the present he didn't know them as fleeing fugitives weak starving and small in number he saw them as a force that needed to be dealt with as a matter of fact history will validate my message tonight the israelis had outgrown the egyptians the king said they are more and they are mightier than we are i'm getting ahead of myself now but is it possible that the devil knows more about us than we know is it possible the enemy knows more about us than we know he said we're gonna have to do something with this bunch i know one thing somewhere in this area and in north america there's a devil that's very nervous about the united pentecostal church right now because we're not like we used to be i said we're not like we're and they don't see us like they used to see us the world is ready for our message the world is ready for our power the world is ready for our revival are we ready he saw them as a threat to his kingdom too many pentecostals are trapped in a time warp by that i mean they see pentecost only as it was and not as it is they see us as we were but not as we are i want to preach to you tonight they fail to acknowledge we now i'm talking about us not them they know it i want you to know the world knows who we are but they we fail to acknowledge that we have the best preachers now brother mallory has been preaching for me and if he had done this in raleigh and he'd have got that kind of response you know what he'd have said thank you for that rousing response see i know i'm on target tonight because you just proved it to me the world thinks we got the best preachers and we scratch our hands so i'm here to tell you tonight we got the best preachers in the world number one they are called number two they are anointed number three they preach true that's the best preacher in the world let's start over again i think we can do better than that you may be seated i say we now have the best preachers in the world we have the most magnificent facilities in the world we have the best choirs we have the best music

and let me tell you nobody does church better than we do chuck nobody has church like we have church we don't teach dancing the spirit moves on us we respond to the holy ghost nobody has to set it up you may be seated we have the best preachers in the world we are the most magnificent facilities in town we have the best choirs we have the best music and nobody does church better than we do and in the event you're a little discouraged down down in the mouth and depressed it's because you don't know who you are and what you're a part of i can say this factually tonight without backing up more people are receiving the holy ghost today in the united pentecostal church than any other religious organization on earth all these others that claim the holy ghost go study them about 10 of them have the holy ghost and they claim to be pentecost worldwide more people are receiving the holy ghost today in the united pentecostal church than any other religious organization as a matter of fact i don't mean to shock you by this either but it is the pentecostals is the fastest growing body of believers in the world while they are closing churches we are building churches as a matter of fact some great church analyst and studier of church history said if time lasts 35 more years the predominant he called it religion in america will be pentecost because the rest of them are going to be dead and gone but see we don't know that we don't believe that we don't understand that and that's why we don't have that i'm gonna meddle with your mind tonight a little bit we've been small so long we get uncomfortable in a crowd but you might as well get used to a crowd because this thing's fixing to draw a crowd if you don't like a crowd you're in the wrong church he said go out in the highways compel him to come in i'm on my house full jesus loves the crowd parking lot's going to be full lined up to be baptized putting out chairs on sunday morning brother this is where it is so the challenge of the church is this while we boast and celebrate our revelation of the mighty god in christ we desperately need a revelation of the mighty god in us we'll tell anybody the mighty god was in christ but we need a revelation of what can happen when the mighty god is in us we need a revelation of greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world it doesn't matter who the president is we serve the lord of glory it doesn't matter who the governor is come on church you need to get over your political depression god is still in control god is still in control we need to understand that what he was while he was on earth we are now what he did when he was here we're to do now did jesus draw a crowd or did he draw a crowd then the church is supposed to draw forget that stuff that a crowd is compromised jesus drew a crowd jesus had multitudes jesus had wholesale turnout get your mind ready for a crowd get your

mind ready for multitudes get your mind ready for a packed house so paul's prayer is very pertinent today when he prayed that the eyes of our understanding might be enlightened that we may see ourselves we need to see ourselves as angels see us gideon is hiding threshing out a little wheat from the enemy and the angel of the lord says get in thou mighty man of valor gideon's like me are you talking to me i certainly don't think you are talking to me the problem is gideon you don't see yourself as you really are you are a mighty man of valor a media knight has a dream and a barley cake comes running into their tents and it starts knocking over the tents and destroying them and everybody's screaming what is this and one guy stands up quaking and shaking he said i know what it is it's gideon this is nothing but the sword of the lord and i'm getting it we're history we're done i want to tell you the devil is shaking and trembling tonight because he knows the power that's in this this church what's the physical address here you may be seated so the devil tiptoes by highway 1181 highway 42 1181. he tiptoes by here because he don't want to wake up a snoring church you see we got the same problem jonah had the the semen the sailors were screaming and crying and calling on everything in the world they could think of to help them i just imagine one of them brother harvey was going sam come on let him give me some good numbers baby one of them had a rabbit foot out rabbit help me here somebody else had a magic lamp magically in today's world might have been a hindu on there he had a hold of a cow's tail oh god somebody do something we're in trouble up in here while they're reaching for everything they can reach for jonah snoring the only man that could stop the storm was asleep church we're the only ones that can do something about this storm we gotta wake up to who we are and what we are yes we are peculiar let's get over it not in the sense of weird or wacky but as in a rare uncommon treasure we're a peculiar people something you don't find everywhere a royal nation a chosen generation the prophet said god would you open the eyes of my servant i wish somebody would say the angels had been there all the time your help has been there all the time you just hadn't been able to see it he said open his eyes and let him see that we're not the minority he thinks we are come on pentecostals we're not the minority if god before you who then can be against you quit living with a minority complex because you're not

luke 10 19 is a verse we need to rediscover behold i give you power jesus said to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all over all over all over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt turn you and somebody say you got the holy ghost on you in the name of jesus you're invincible devil ain't going to tear this church up the devil ain't going to shut this church up the devil ain't going to wipe this church out devil ain't going to get victory over this church the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church quit living like you're defeated when you've got the victory a few easter's ago i preached a sermon in raleigh i'll give you the title now if it's right here i preached on easter sunday morning a few years ago don't celebrate the resurrection and live like he's dead don't celebrate the resurrection and then live like he's dead there's too many pentecostals living like he's dead i said living like he's dead when we get a little sick we go to the doctor before we even call the preacher to give god a chance to heal we three my mother used to call and i used to get a big laugh at her my mother had her own english language and i enjoyed the way my mother talked she said i gotta i should say i got the headache i got the headache she said i need three hypopulpins now what hypopulpin was is ibuprofen but you say i got the headache i need three hypopulpins i'm afraid pentecostals are living on hypopens more than they are on the holy ghost you can have a miracle if you just ask god for it you can be healed if you just ask god for it you can have revival if you'll just ask god for it turn around and somebody say quit worry and nothing can hurt you nothing can hurt you no weapon formed against you shall prosper no weapon formed against you shall prosper quit trying to get in the casket come on you're not dying you're not dead somebody needs to shout here's our problem we're like hezekiah you may be seated man you folks know how to make a man feel like a preacher i'm starting to feel like a preacher i ain't preaching but i feel like one brother patrick worried me tonight i feel like he's called to preach but but he made me nervous he made me nervous i questioned his call for just a moment because ain't no preacher gonna try to preach without the mic a man that preacher gonna give me that mic man y'all got me going nuts here tonight i'm gonna get back in my notes over here it's getting dangerous out here jesus said i give you power to tread upon serpents scorpions over all the power of the enemy nothing shall be any by any means hurt you there's too many penteco it's the big one it's a big one elizabeth it's just too much pizza and they're going it's the big one

nothing's going to hurt you nothing's going to hurt you nothing's going to hurt you nothing's going to hurt you nothing's going to hurt you nothing's going to hurt you quit living in fear quit living in depression quit being such a worry warrant get over your worrying man i feel like messing with you there's young lady there's young ladies you may be there's young ladies this audience ought to be shouting but the reason they're not shouting is i'm 23. and i'm not married my god my life is ruined i can't find any joy all right my god i'm destined i'm gonna be an old man i'm 21 and i'm not married and you shed on jesus because you're 22 and ain't married you know one reason you ain't married because ain't no man in this world wants to marry a sad sack pentecostal lady you need to get up and act like you're excited somebody might look at you get up act like you got some life in you and somebody might look at you well back to the notes behold i gave you power to tread upon serpent scorpions over all the power not only that let me say this before i move on bless god there ain't nothing worse than a dead pentecostal church there ain't nothing more distasteful than a sad sack pentecostal if you claim the holy ghost get you some joy if you claim the holy ghost gets you some joy nobody wants a baptism of depression i'm gonna try one more time behold i give you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you you know what jesus is telling us the serpent strikes with his head the scorpion strikes with his tail what jesus is saying is church heads or tails we win heads or tails ain't about the flip of a coin and we may win or we may lose if it's heads we win if it's tails we win turn around somebody say we're winners we're winners we're not losers notice the biblical description of israel the bible said they were fruitful everybody say fruitful it said they increased abundally multiplied the land is full of them they are more and they are mightier than we now that was the appraisal of the new king of egypt that's how he saw israel and history supports the fact that israel could have walked out of egypt whenever they chose and the egyptians could not have stopped them the only thing that held them there was their concepts of themselves see they were limited though the lid had been removed the small rope could never restrain them now they insisted on floating when they could have fled to the deep water they had a 70 and slave mentality they forgot that they weren't 70 anymore and it's very debatable so i'll be loose in my estimation they had grown in 430 years from 70 to between 3 and 6 million somehow it ain't like it used to be now i'm going to preach to you just a minute here i fear we have a brush harbor storefront back roads small group little weird people mentality

let me read that again because to some of you that's like looking in a mirror because that's how you see pentecost brush harbor storefront back roads small group little weird people mentality and the challenge is some people have grown to like the church that way if you want a small church you're in the wrong place if you want me and my four and no more you're in the wrong place you need to go down the street to the first church of the refrigerator who thinks god is three people i say it here i wouldn't say it in raleigh but there's a church so-called church really a social club you know that's come up in our areas grown massively in numbers and the name of it is c3 that's the name of the church c3 i told some of our people that's the problem they see three we see one i fear we have a brush harbor storefront back road small group little weird people mentality i'm here to preach to you or not god wants to save professors god wants to save doctors god wants to save lawyers god wants to save people that drive jaguars god wants to save people that drive lexus and god wants to try save people that ride mopeds and people to come to church in a taxicab i wish this church would wake up and say everybody's welcome here the poor are welcome here the rich are welcome here he died for the world now hear me it may have been that way then but it is not that way now and by the way upc does not stand for underprivileged children i just thought i'd share that with some of you nor does it stand for undesirable pentecostal church i want to preach to you right now our church is no greater than we think it is our god is no greater than we think he is our pastor is no greater than we think he is our message is no greater than we think it is i'm going to tell you this is the greatest thing on earth there's no god like our god we don't preach a message we preach the message turn around somebody said i wish you believe that and when you believe that this church is going to bust the walls out we've been in it so long we're kind of shamed of it a few months ago my five-year-old grandson Christian got the holy ghost now you do what you want to do but this is what we do with our family when one of our kids or grandkids gets the holy ghost we give them a holy ghost party and so Christian five we said Christian where do you want to go for your holy ghost party he said i want to go to chuck e jesus he said okay we're going to chuck e cheese's to celebrate you getting the holy ghost we walk in the door to chuck e cheese's the families there just the immediate family and so the lady says are y'all what's the purpose of your party today looks like y'all gonna have a party and christy my daughter tries to be somewhat politically correct and she says something like well Christian here kind of it was kind of like christening she said he had a spiritual experience

and we're celebrating before she could get through Christian stepped up there and he said i got the holy ghost son he's speaking in tongues and i ain't never done that before that lady's like all right why are you ashamed of this if you act like you love it the world needs to know we talk in tongues and we're glad about it we baptize in jesus name and we're not ashamed of it we know there's only one god and we're not intimidated by it this church is fruitful this church has increased increased abundantly this church is waxed exceeding mighty this church is multiplied in the land and the lands fill with them everybody say they're everywhere say they're everywhere they're everywhere i'm telling there's pentecostals everywhere when i first went to raleigh you couldn't find a pentecost with a search warrant raleigh and we got a long way to go to do what we need to do and be where we need to be but it it's a lot better so let me show you how this works how long i've been preaching i don't want to wear y'all out i'm eating pie up here tonight i don't know what y'all doing you want a piece so it's christmas couple years ago and we took my nephew and his wife out to a little christmas program outside of raleigh and we'd gone out eight that afternoon went to the christmas show and we got the christmas spirit we're having a great time and it's about 11 o'clock at night we're headed back to raleigh we're laughing and celebrating christmas my wife and i in the front and my nephew and his wife in the back seat and we're all saying boom these blue lights explode behind me and i'm like what in the world this patrolman pulls me over side the road may i see your license and your registration yes sir i gave it to him he goes back to his car first i said i play my old dumb routine you know something wrong he said yeah i believe something's wrong you're doing 70 and a 55. i said something is wrong he went back to his car he's sitting back there i thought scrooge the grinch that stole christmas just come up to my car he's messing me up and i'm thinking this is taking forever this is not good in a minute he comes walking up to my car here's your license mr huntley and here's your your insurance papers and he said you're a preacher aren't you and i said yes sir he said well i can't give you a ticket i said excuse me he said i can't give you a ticket he said cause my dispatcher said the man you pulled over i've heard him preach all my life and said he preaches camps and he preaches youth camps and he bless his people and she said if you give him a ticket you will go to hell he said here's your license and your insurance y'all have a good evening i don't want to go to hell the land is filled with them now you do what you want to do i have no problem with you i don't ever put reverend on my stuff i don't do that i don't put reverend on my stuff i just if you call me anything it'd be pastor or brother i i'm not big on reverend and so i'm at the airport i'm flying out the preach you can't meet my wife is already gone i'm going out to preach his campaign and the line is a mile long through the security and i just know i'm gonna miss my flight there's no way when all of a sudden this sky cap comes up to me i've never seen him don't know him from adam he said let me see your ticket i hand it to him he took off he said i'll be right back he took off and then he comes back with a wheelchair

and he said reverend and i don't know where he got that he said reverend get in this chair i said sir there's nothing wrong with me i can't get in that chair do what i tell you to do get in the chair i sit down the wheelchair he wheels me around the line he takes me to the elevator we go up front he moves me to the front of the line and says have a good day reverend the land is filled with them one more story now i'm going to tell this like it is because if i don't tell it like it is i'll lose my strong point we are at dns cafeteria in kerry my wife and i have eaten and i'm i went outside i'm sitting on a little bench right out the floor it's a beautiful day and i'm just sitting on this little bench waiting on her to come out of the restaurant minding my own business just sitting there two black ladies come by i have to designate that to make this point two black ladies come by they stop right in front of me and i got ears my wife says i am nosy i say i'm not nosy i'm in the people business i need to know what they're saying that's my business when i eat in a restaurant i can tell you who's there and i tell you what they're saying you better be quiet because i can read lips too can i pause to tell you one funny story remind me to go back to that bench all right cause i chased this rabbit i may lose this one i don't want this one to get away when i was an evangelist i i can read lips real well i talk to my wife while i'm preaching i can read her lips she can talk to me i'm bearing down okay so i was a young evangelist preaching a little bitty church in texas and these two very sophisticated ladies that looked like non-pentecostals is that close enough for you to understand what they look like they were non-pentecostals on the back row man we're going crazy kicking the walls out and one of them says to the other one i read her lips she's on the back row she said i don't know what they have here but they've got something and so while i'm preaching when i get ready to preach i step up and i preach a little bit and i say i know what you're thinking you're thinking i don't know what they have but they've got something my god i don't know if there's a gift of the spirit of gift of the flesh it worked so these two ladies come by me and i'm just sitting there ah beautiful day waiting on my wife and i hear what i'm gonna say you ever been over there at a 2312 lake wheeler road that's the church i pastor the other one said you mean over there what a white man pastors she said lord god that man preaches like a black man that's one of the highest compliments my ministry has ever had so i walk up behind her and i say why are you talking about me she said lord god there he is right there the land is filled with them they're talking about us they're looking for us they're studying us they want what we've got so the bible says israel came to the borders of canaan and for years i had preached that they brought back the bible said a negative report hold on that's not what it said i'm setting you up that they brought back a negative report that is not true the bible didn't say they brought back a negative report it said they brought back an evil i'm preaching to you tonight pentecostals that negativism

is evil and there's a reason i don't want to be negative because it makes me evil and the reason i don't want to be evil is because evil is one letter from devil so when you get negative you're close to the devil i know can i just say this i'll move on quickly i know y'all rather preach for me to preach about whoremongers and adulterers fornicators lesbians and homosexuals you'd be on your feet but when i preach about being negative you get quiet on me there's nothing more terrible in this church than negativism god has not anointed you to be in opposition to your pastor god has not anointed you to stand in the way of revival when your pastor says we're going to have revival your job is to get on your feet and shout yeah when it says we're going to buy property your job is to get on your feet and shot yeah when it says we're going to fill this church your job is to get on your feet and shout yeah i'm hurrying this is only the only place i know of where two opposing contradictory sides were both correct the ones who said we can take the land took it the ones who said we cannot take the land did not so give me the name of one of the two who said we can you just automatically say josh and caleb you can't even hardly say one of them all right now students of the bible give me one of the names of the ten who said we can't well there was ten of them there was ten of them all you have to know is two sure didn't get one out of ten nobody knows one of the 10. you know why who cares you don't remember people's name that say we can't you don't remember the names of people who say we can't do this we can't have this we can't go there we can't do that you don't even remember their names let's get the musicians up here like one preacher said and give the people some hope let's all stay and get the musicians up here here's what israel said israel said we can't do this we can't everybody say we can't do this we can't do this there's strong people they're walled cities there's giants it's a land that this is i like this one this makes me think of that first about first computer game that came out with pac-man and it was called pac-man running around eating up stuff they said the land eats up the inhabitants that's strange you walk into the grass you go in there and the dirt's gonna just pull you down feeding off i kind of think they were exaggerating they said it's a land that will eat you up so israel says everybody israel said i'm making my last point israel said strong people walled cities giants a land that eats up people we can't go in there that's what israel said but let's see what god said about the same circumstance hebrews 3 and 19 and so we see that they could not enter in because of strong people because of giants because of walled cities because it's a land that eats up the inhabitants no no that's not what god said that didn't have anything to do with it god said the reason you couldn't go in there is because of your unbelief

there is nothing that can keep you from your promise but unbelief unbelief is the only thing that will strip you from possessing your promised land and i got news for you tonight israel we're on the border you're right there it's within a hand grip it's within the touch of your fingers but somebody's got to step out in that aisle tonight and say regardless of the circumstances regardless of the situation regardless of the way it looks i believe god and the ones that believed god walked right in and took that plan i don't feel good tonight but i believe god can heal me i'm suffering tonight but i believe god can heal our church is empty but i believe god can feel it i want somebody step out that i while they're singing right now and say but i believe god i believe god we need a new concept for a new king
