I believe it tonight I believe that we have heard from the Lord this morning and uh we have already received a report of a healing why because we walked in faith and anytime we walk towards him anytime we take a step toward him he said if you'll seek me you will find me and I just can't help but believe I I've come tonight and I have a faith believing that somebody in this place is going to be delivered somebody in this place is going to be delivered and perhaps delivered from something you don't even know has you bound at the moment but I believe if you will open yourself up to God tonight and you will Just Surrender yourself to God I believe God's going to do something in this place uh in a in a mighty mighty way I want to once again just say what a powerful message we heard this morning by our pastor won you give him my big hand the word of the Lord Jesus thou son of David amen amen and I know Pastor has been to the Cleveland campus and I was honored to go to the severville campus this afternoon and we had a great time in the Lord and I was looking forward to coming back tonight and listening to brother Nolan preach and uh I got a text that he is not feeling well is sick so we want to pray pray for him and so I bring to you uh fresh uh fresh off the press here we'll see what we can we'll see what we can do instant them instant potatoes don't taste as good as them homemade ones though would you do this with me would you lift both your hands and just ask God to speak to us Lord I Thank you for your word is forever settled in heaven Lord let it be forever settled in our hearts let it to be forever settled in this room tonight Lord as we preach I pray God that Faith would move into this room that open up God our hearts and cultivate the ground of our flesh Lord I pray that something great would take place here in this house Lord I believe God that someone is going to be loosed of a mentality tonight someone's going to be loosed of a of a sickness tonight something's going to happen in this place there's going to be a breakthrough in this house tonight Lord I believe it and I come God knowing that you're more more than able tonight you are more than able tonight Lord and we thank you for it in advance in Jesus name we pray everybody say Amen you may be seated tonight I want to preach for just a few moments my title is a crummy situation A crummy situation Jesus finds himself in the First Gospel of Matthew where he's just came from a conversation with the religious Pharisees and we know the the phes the Sadducees they represent the religious of the day and um they are are following the traditions and Jesus has just come from in chapter 15 a conversation about eating bread because that's what matters right you know um a lot of things we could be talking about but the Pharisees and the Sadducees are talking about eating bread when you eat it how you eat it they're just you know making sure that Jesus is crossing all of his tees and dotting all of his eyes Matthew 15:1 says then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees which were of Jerusalem saying why did he do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders for they wash not their hands when they eat bread and he answered and said unto them why do you also transgress the Commandment of God by your tradition so he just kind of but Tony kind of gives it back to him a little bit there he's like what you worried about washing your hands before you eat bread and there other things I mean I I appreciate all of you that are germophobic and all of that we want to wash our hands and use some hand sanitizer and especially as much as we shake hands around here we want to make sure everybody's washing their hands but Jesus kind of says and and and comes back with them that he they're once again trying to catch them within the technicalities and verse 12 says then came his disciples and said unto him knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended after they heard your saying the Pharisees got offended at Jesus's response and it seems that here Jesus has just kind of had enough of their traditionalism for one day let's just say it that way he'd kind of he heard enough about these uh these these guys kind of quizzing him and watching him and keeping their eye on him and everything he kind of had enough of them for one day so in verse 21 the same chapter says Jesus went then and departed into the coast of Tyrie and sidon the coast of Tyrie and sidon you'll see Jesus's nature many times is to travel around the edge of town he'll run into the lepers why because he's always working around the edge of town he's going to make sure that that that he he he works out that the that that he's he's he's just going to catch those that are maybe Out On The Fringe a little bit huh I think there's something to that and uh he he he's always going out to the edge and and seeing if he could compel somebody maybe run into somebody that has been cast away and he says Behold a woman sure enough of Canaan came out of the same coast and Cried unto him saying have mercy on me oh Lord Pastor thou son of David my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil do I have a parent don't raise your hand we we really don't know I check the I check the Greek and the Hebrew and the foolish commentaries and you know the the Jewish Scholars and nobody really knows what grievously vexed with the devil means we don't we don't know um it's pretty bad some of you might can relate but they can't seem to relate or know what that really means we do know that it was so bad they threw her out the house just you can't stay in here she was she was demonstrative it was an outward expression there was enough of a devil inside of her that you started seeing it huh and so what we see here that she was grievously vexed with the devil and so this is the the perfect dialogue I mean we've seen it time and time and time again throughout the gospels Jesus thou son of David have mercy on me and it would seem to stop Jesus in his tracks it would seem to turn Jesus's attention to say hey somebody knows who I am somebody knows who I am they're they're calling me by my name and they know they understand who I am and it's going to stop him in his tracks but this lady comes to him in the right way although being from Canaan she's not one of you know she's she's there's so many different things here and again you just got done with all the technicalities of the Pharisees and the Sadducees she was a woman and she wasn't a Jew so she shouldn't have been coming to him but at least she came the right way she said Jesus have mercy on me and and and and this is a a powerful moment we see we would expect Jesus to turn and to answer the Cry of the woman but he answered her not a word not even a Mumble not a word I I I I think this is a a very interesting just story that stuck out to me today as I I felt the burden to minister tonight kind of rest upon me and this Canaanite woman she has no right it seems to be here all the Customs are against her and and she was considered this idolatrous Canaanite she's not supposed to be here and and and and this is a powerful dialogue to begin with because I'm here to tell somebody that your your your your your your history doesn't NE necessarily determine your your destiny let's say it that way where you come from who you're a part of what you've been through what you're facing what your your your your your background is doesn't really matter matter if you're just willing to come to Jesus right and so we we see that all these things pan out and and Jesus she comes to him thou son of David have mercy up on me but for some reason who he was didn't get enough she said I I I know I'm not good I'm not here but I'm desperate that's what that son of Mercy Son of God have mercy on me but Jesus doesn't answer her so let's let's address this because I think we all know what to do when the miracle happens but what do you do when you get not a word the question for most people as Christians is can you survive the silence can you survive a season when God's not saying anything you've perhaps been there I've been in there you feel like you're going through something and your prayers don't seem to be going anywhere it don't seem to be fixing the problem I can do this I can do that but it don't seem to be solution Jesus thou son of David I'm at church I'm praying I'm worshiping I'm here but not a word my daughter is a mess my family is a mess my life is in turmoil I've lost my job my marriage is on the Brinks this is happening and you don't have a word not a word to a woman who comes the right way and in need I know we know what to do when God is moving I know what we know we we know what to do when God is speaking but what do you do when he is silent we see her paint this perfect picture of what I believe faith is it's radical it's beyond what we understand it's beyond sometimes what we expect I think many times we put a cap on God of what we expect to happen this is what I had in mind well that's not that's that's not Faith it's what he has in mind right and I I I I would have I grew up and in in in church and and I I grew up around many people who who would depict Faith as just wait on the Lord just just just sit back and and when he he he may not come when you want him but you just you just stay right there and he he'll be here right on time I I've heard this depiction of faith and not that they that wait upon the Lord he's going to renew your strength but I think there's a lot of scriptures in there that that maybe we combine with faith that really I don't know if it is a depiction of Faith because faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of Things Not Seen and Faith seems to be accompanied with action what's Paul talk about Paul says faith without when we start hearing Faith brought up we see that there's something that that that seems to accompany it at all times and that is action action action do something be be active be be be uh be uh hungry enough be have enough desire about you to do something about it and I think many times you know I I I um I happen to be reading this book and I I didn't I said I wasn't going to go here tonight but um this is what you get when I don't get much time to prepare here so um there is a uh there there's a new definition out the newest the newest book that I'm reading um this they they give all the new definitions of all the things that are happening and they've they've accompanied for some time now because anxiety was one of the number one words for how I I think over two years now that they they' found so many different diagnosis and they just kept accompany it doctor would say it's fear it's fear it's fear it's fear it's fear it's fear and now they've decided that they're really two separate things they're defining them as two separate things fear is being fearful of something that happens takes place whereas anxiety simply is being fearful of something that has the potential to play take place so there for in this new brain study and this new without boring you with Statistics and how it all works by definition anxiety is much closer to the opposite of Faith than fear is because Faith lives on potential of what God can do whereas the feeling of anxiety is something that may never happen but you're anxious about what could possibly take place so we see that there's this there's this struggle of hey what if I pursue this and I get not a word what if I what if I give myself unashamedly to him what if I worship him it's with all my heart what if I do this what if I do that and nothing happens what have you lost let me let me put this in your mind for just a moment tonight and we will get back to the story do you know there is a cost for inactivity you must consider the cost of not being active you must consider the cost of no action many would say and in in this in in many situations many would say well well I'm just going to sit and wait well in this lady's situation she would have missed him you must evaluate the pr you pay for procrastination regret is built upon missing opportunities more than it is the things that you did do and wish you hadn't it's the things that you missed because you didn't take advantage of the moment so there's a cost for inactivity there's a cost for not stepping out there's a cost for not reaching out there's a cost for not crying out there's a cost I believe each service when we don't take advant advantage of the opportunity to do and be participators in everything that God has for us there is a cost for your inactivity tonight you will give account for the opportunity to worship him whether you you will give an account for how you respond to the foolishness of preaching tonight you will give account to what you do with this time so there is a cost for inactivity how many Serv services are going to go by until you get desperate enough to cry out how long are you going to continue to be inactive if we aren't careful we will have more prodal on the Pew while we all seem to be worried about the prodigals in the pig pin that's true do you realize in that story he may have wasted the father's inheritance in the world but the older brother was wasted it sitting around the house that's why he had to remind him all that thy have all I've God is yours and when we see that God it was a divided inheritance perhaps the older brother was was so angry when he came back because he was dipping back into his part of the inheritance we see that but we see that also that anytime somebody repents and comes back to the house of God you'll see John the I got to stay on target here John the Baptist he he print he preached one message what was it you know what also he would preach about when he would talk about repentance repentance I can't even talk repentance huh an advancing Kingdom the kingdom suffereth V but the violent take it by he would any time he talked about repent repentance he talked about a kingdom that was advancing why because when somebody's coming home I don't look at them as somebody's coming back to take my inheritance or take something it mind I look at somebody that's coming back home because this kingdom is advancing this Kingdom's bigger and better that it was when you left how dare we sit here on the Pew inactive and then we judge those that come in the door that went and supposedly took advantage of his Mercy while you take advantage of his presence just because they're wallowing out there in the pig pin it says he divided it in thirds which means the the younger brother took 10 let's just just just make it easy math so everybody can be mathing tonight $30 he took 10 older brother's got 20 he wasted the 10 according to Jesus's other Parable that he dieses into on the talents what did the older brother do with the $20 because if you've advanced the $20 you're not worried about the $10 that had been wasted therefore when somebody repents and all of Heaven is rejoicing you can Rejoice because you're a part of a kingdom that is growing and advancing and it don't matter kill the fatted calf we're in an advancing Kingdom God Will Supply another one Tom we can throw a party like nobody else why because I'm a part of something that's growing that's becoming bigger and better every single week don't be inactive be about the father's business it'll mess up your perception get get active in the house because there's a cost of inactivity I see many people that suffer from the silence many people have and I get it that we have made decisions we've made decisions we've made mistakes and I see some people that just they've decided just I'm not going to fight back I'm just going to sit here they're suffering from the consequences of their own actions but you convince yourself that you deserve what you're going through and you you just said I I deserve this because of what I did and because you feel like you deserve it you decide to stay where you're at I deserve this I did this to myself no no no no no you've gotten way past God forgiving you and you're just sitting in a self-imposed situation that you need to forgive yourself you need to get up out of your muck and out of your mire and you you can't just extend it doesn't matter if he seems silent it doesn't M matter if God seems like he's a million miles away I'm here to tell somebody that you need to take a step towards God tonight he's forgiven you he's removed that as far as the East is from the West you don't deserve to have to sit back and and and not be afforded the blessings you are a child of God you've been adopted into oh it's the minute you said God forgive me he removed it as far as the East is from the west and although you and I don't comprehend the mercy of God I'm thankful for it and I'm going to live in it and I'm going to walk in it don't sit back idly by while the kingdom of God is advancing you've not done enough for God to turn his back on you you will never do enough to put yourself in this self-imposed season this personal prison it's time for you to come out tonight God's not condemning you pastor preached it this morning it's not his will that any should perish it's a fight of faith and God's calling you he's pulling you he's tugging on you tonight just step out just cry out just just just just have enough Faith but we see this in his disciples if we keep reading the story came and besought him saying send her away send her away for she crith after us but he answered and said I am not sent but under the law lost sheep of the House of Israel he said I I'm not I'm not sent but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and and and Jesus answers correctly there and she then came she and worshiped him what what what do you how do you survive the silence you worship you said well this so hard I don't hear anything maybe you don't feel worship no matter what it looks like no matter what it feels like no matter what anybody else is saying there might be a crew with Jesus saying hey send her away hey send them on away there might be friends at least you call them friends that are discouraging you they're a lot like job's friends you know they just just just they got everything negative to say it don't matter what anybody says it don't matter what the doctor says it don't matter what this would say it don't matter how bad it seems I just want to encourage you to worship no matter what don't stop worshiping young people I know you go through a season and there's there's so many things and so many question marks and what's going to happen here and what's going to happen there and this is is this one going to like me and am I going to make it into that college and is this going to happen am I going to get that job no matter how much uncertainty don't stop worshiping no matter how many things are uncertain don't stop worshiping he says I'm not sent but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel it is inappropriate he says for me to minister to you right now because it is not my mission you're outside of Israel's Covenant he says and she came and worshiped him she said I know I'm not of the right lineage I know I've got a background of idolatrous Canan I know that I'm on the outskirts of town I know I've got a a demon vexed daughter I know but I I I I just could you help me could I tell you tonight if God has a weak spot it's worship if God has a he says I've not it's not my mission you're out of Covenant lady you're you're out of Covenant and shees says would you just help which I can't help but to see the lady as she just says I am Relentless you're not getting away without me giving everything that I got if you're going to judge me for anything it's not going to be for inactivity I'm going to pursue you at all costs I'm going to keep coming to the front I'm going to keep crying out I'm going to keep praying for my lost son I'm going to keep praying for my lost daughter I'm going to keep claiming my healing I'm going to keep praying that God is going to do what he promised he'll do it doesn't matter if he speaks not a word I'm here to encourage somebody to worship when you don't feel nothing at all would you worship when it seems like the world is against you would you worship oh I wish somebody had help me for a moment would you throw your hands up would you lift up a voice unto God and just worship for a moment oh hallelujah oh Hallelujah oh hallelujah oh I feel his presence reeping in this place right now oh I feel his presence moving in this place right now my God my God Jesus th son of David have mercy have mercy on me and he gets she gets not a word I believe that our response to All Things even a silent savior is worship you survive any season by worship you can endure anything with some praise that's why I I I can't help but to make sure that every time I get an opportunity I'll just save and if it's if it's waking up in the morning thank you Jesus for another day thank you Jesus for the blessings of God over my life God I thank you for my family I thank you I want to consistently be in some kind of Thanksgiving and praise and and worship unto him I I don't know about you but you might be past do on a lot of things you might be and be you might be and I'll just be straight up with you well let's just talk spiritual things I'm not talking about being P do on your water bill but you might be behind on your daily reading for the year in the Bible you you might be behind on the the the the New Year resolution of losing weight or you might be behind on the New Year resolution of this Dad or whatever you're trying to do but don't you dare get past due on praise don't you dare let a day go by let a service go by where you're given an opportunity to magnify the Lord to exalt his name to lift up the King of Kings and the Lord to magnify God come on I'm speaking to somebody right now if you would obey the Lord he'd go ahead and take care of your situation right now lift up your hands in the sanctuary bless the Lord let the high praises of God be in your mouth oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh I feel his presence right now there's Deliverance in this house right now there's deliv you don't understand I've had a bad day I wish you'd praise him you don't even know what I'm going through I dare you to praise him tonight I dare you to praise him tonight I dare you to do something you haven't done in a while for this is the day that the Lord has made I will I will rejoice oh I wish right now I want to follow the leading of the Lord I wish you'd grab the hand of somebody next to you and lift it up right now come on we can't miss a moment to worship don't be inactive oh hallelujah oh Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah come on that's it somebody can get what you need right now you don't even have to wait till the altar call you can get what you need right now worship worship worship worship God's speaking to somebody right now in the name of Jesus if God's telling you to Worship in a way that you don't normally worship if you do it right now he'll answer your prayer I'm speaking to somebody right now that God is knocking on your heart if you'd obey him right now God would do something special for you if you'd obey him right now God would step out and meet you where you are oh hallelujah hallelujah oh Hallelujah come on clap your hands to it hallelujah hallelujah worship worship worship you can be seated I challenge you worship I just want God to answer that worship worship worship I'll just go and tell you right now I I don't obviously I prepared very quickly and I don't want anybody to think that this is some we we've got you know we we sing three songs we take up the offering to prayer whatever but if God tells you to do something while I'm preaching obey the Lord you're not going to distract me I'll keep preaching or I'll do it with you but if God tells somebody to do something outside of the ordinary maybe somebody it might just be running an aisle but if God tells you to run an aisle and worship him in a way I believe God will do something that you've been waiting on him to do for a while because he's been waiting on you to do something that you just be obedient and you just follow the there's some of you that's been so down and out he said if you want joy you ought to leap for it if you want to there's about to be a breakthrough in this room tonight why because somebody says I want to change I I'm sick and tired of being in the Same Old Situation how do I get out I worship I worship I worship I worship this is how we fight this is how come on Daddy come on Daddy come on let the Lord deliver you right now you don't deserve it God's got more for you oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise him praise him praise him come on that's it you don't need the beat of a drum you need the beat of your heart to desire him somebody ought to pour your heart out right now somebody ought to get a dance in your feet that God's taking you out God's bringing you out God's delivering you right now I don't care how dark or how quiet he seems right now God can bring you out come on praise him praise him praise him if you're sick in your body lift your hands right now and cry out to him Jesus come on that's it you're not changing his power you're changing your perspective of his power when I think about Jesus and all that he's done for me why would I stop here knowing that he's more than able come on don't stop worshiping don't stop worshiping oh hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah that's it that's it tonight's your night from the front to the back God can touch you right now God can change your situ come on receive it right now be delivered from that mindset be delivered from that situation hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh hall hallelujah come on with your head tilted back would you throw your hands to the ceiling would you lift up a shout right now the demons are trembling right now hell is scared right now that you might just you might just step out of your situation you might just come out of what's been holding you back yes oh Hallelujah come on I wish nobody'd be a spectator no Spectators for the next few moments if you've got got it all together grab somebody and pray with them for a moment there's somebody that needs a breakthrough in this house tonight come on grab a hold of the hand to somebody if you feel lad lay hands on somebody and pray with them right now in Jesus name come on that's it from the front to the back get what you need tonight get what you need tonight this is a House of Miracles this is a house for the broken this is a house for any and everybody get what you need from God right now yes yes yes yes yes is Hallelujah musicians would you come and help me musicians you come and help me in the name of Jesus in the name of Jesus oh hallelujah hallelujah would you would you listen to me for just a moment I'm I'm fixing to be done God is specifically speaking to people that the devil has convinced you that you don't deserve it the devil has convinced you that you're too far you're not accounted for that he he just cares about the lost son that was once a no no no let me let me let's go back to that story real quick before we finish this one he said the father ran to him when he was a long ways off a long ways off you know the human eye can only recognize another human as at the max 2020 Vision you got to have good Vision at Max of 300 ft 300 feet is not too far what does that tell me it tells me that Jesus will run even when he don't recognize Jesus is not here running just after this one or that one I'm here to speak to a prodal tonight to tell you Jesus is running to you if you're taking one step step towards the Jesus is running you say why you don't know what I've done you don't I've been in the pig pin I've been doing things I shouldn't have done I've been here I know no he's running to you right now and if you will take one step toward him God will deliver you of that mindset come on take a step towards him right now come on take a step towards him right now come on prodal take a step towards him right now come on young person take a step towards him come on that's it come on that's it I'm encouraging so you don't know what that person next to you is going through you don't know what they're facing you don't know what they're dealing with in their mind right now there is Deliverance in this place there is Deliverance in this place tonight oh Hallelujah yes God yes God yes God come on Church would you help me create an atmosphere come on don't don't be a spectator be a worshiper come on be a wor come on older brother create an atmosphere there's a party taking place there's a party taking place there's a party taking place we got one going to be baptized I'm telling you God's doing something in this place right now I wish you just tap into it tap into it stay involved stay locked into the altar service for just another moment God's doing something right now God we want to see your work God let your glory fall in this house God let your glory fall in this house right now Let Your Presence be undeniable hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah holy God holy God Of Heaven holy God of holy God of heav Jesus you Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hall the presence of the Lord is here presence of the Lord is here if you if you're praying I wish you'd continue to pray but I I feel so burdened to speak this this is what the Lord sent me to speak to you tonight so those of you that are praying continue to pray I want to just speak this over you I feel so burdened to speak this to you I would not stop but Jesus answered and said it is not meat to take the children's bread and to cast it to the dog most confusing thing you could ever hear he's not calling her a dog but he's simply saying those that are not in the promise he's basically saying it's how could I not feed my own children and give it to you I have made a promise to look after the people My People First and she said truth Lord yet the dogs eat from the crumbs which fall from the master's table then answered Jesus and said to her oh woman great is thy faith be it unto thee even as thou Wilt and her daughter was made whole from that very hour I want to speak to somebody tonight that you may feel I'm just want to speak in the Holy Ghost I'm not trying to call anybody out I'm not I've not come here with any kind of Vendetta but there's a certain emotion that has to be engaged within you to allow a church body to engage in his presence and you say I'm just not going to participate I see young people come forward and parents that don't I see fathers come forward and a wife that won't I see a wife that come for a father that won't I see someone pour their heart out in the other person you say well how can they be so mingled together how can they be a family in Covenant all these things and and and one person be so locked in and the other not there's got to be something in your mind where you feel like I'm just a dog I've done something that disengages me from his presence I don't feel worthy but what a worshipper will do is say I know when the kids eat at the table it gets messy and it don't matter matter if it's a crumb or it's the whole cake it's still the same thing and I'll just take a crumb and I'm here to speak to somebody in Jesus name tonight that if you could just take a crumb I know it seems like a crummy situation but if you could just get the mentality that if I could just Touch the Hem of His Garment if I could just take a piece if I could just get a small Touch of his Mercy I wish one more time you throw your hands up and every child of God would let the mercy of God fall on you come on just get you a crb tonight just get your a CR come on you don't have to be right don't let the devil tell you a lie you just got to be hungry you just got to be hungry wow the Holy Ghost is moving in this place right now the Holy Ghost is moving in this place right now would you you worship him would you worship come on just get what you get what he's pour it out get what he's got for you a in Jesus name in Jesus name be filled with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name Hallelujah Hall can we try something before we're done here tonight can we just try something you all are going to participate in this are you ready praise ye the Lord praise God in his Sanctuary Praise Him in the firmament of his power praise him for his mighty acts has he been good to anybody Praise Him according to his excellent greatness praise him with the sound of the trumpet praise him with the Sut Tre in heart praise him with the timberl and dance I wonder if anybody's got a dance to praise him with the string instruments and organs Praise Him up on the loud symbols praise him up on the high sounding symbols let everything that is breath praise praise praise him come on somebody come on somebody I dare you to praise him I dare you to praise him I Dare You To Worship I dare you to worship him I'm dare my God my I got I got one last praise in me I don't know if I have the voice but I got one last Praise of me the count of three brother Ethan y'all going to do whatever you want to do as we praise him with our breath praise him with the dance praise him with the string instruments and organs and however you want to praise him here but it's been a narrative that's been working its way through the past few weeks I felt led to preach about it at several campus had no plans of preaching about the prodical Sunday night and it got in here but I have a list I got it from the teachers at the beginning of the school
