Thank You Lord I'm not deserving oh God but you found me you healed me you changed me come on for just another moment could you just love him from the depths of your heart come on with the own your own song Your Own lyrics Lord I Thank you that you brought me out of Darkness into this Marvelous Light Lord I Thank you for all that you've done for me the times you've touched me you've healed me you've changed me oh God Lord we thank you for your mercy tonight Jesus God you're worthy God you're worthy God you're worthy one more time clap your hands to the Lord Lord for he is great and greatly to be praised first chap 1st Samuel chapter number 17 and verse number three I will quickly get to the word of the Lord I give Pastor sister Carpenter honor Pastor sister Ericson honor and all of our team that serves here but most of all as pastors already said to the faithful saints of God here that make up fac I I love and appreciate each and every one of you and I believe that I was in a meeting on Tuesday with some of our our Outreach team and different ones and we believe very very strongly that that we are preparing for a great harvest I believe the Lord is is is is preparing us for what God is Not only doing right now but what God is about to do and and we're just sitting here um and and we're working but the Lord is sending hungry people and I'm thankful for who you are and what you do and what you believe to tonight and I appreciate you coming back tonight even though you knew I was preaching pastor we keep that one under the Hat next time so everybody comes back they think Pastor I know brother chesan he drove all the way from Middle Tennessee thinking Pastor was preaching he's just he's just bummed out as anybody right now but uh 1 Samuel chapter number 17 verse number three and the Philistines stood on a mountain on one side and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side and there was a valley a valley between them and there went out a champion of the camp of the Philistines named Goliath of gath whose height was six cubits and a span verses 5-7 talk talk about how big Goliath's head is and how big his armor is verse number eight says and he stood and cried under the armies of Israel and said unto them why are you come out to set your battle in Array am not I a Philistine and ye the servants to Saul choose you a man for you and let him come down to me if he be able to fight with me and to kill me and then will I be your servants but if I Prevail against him and kill him and you'll be our servants and serve us and the Philistines said I defy the armies of Israel this day give me a man that we may fight together when Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine they were dismayed and greatly somebody say greatly greatly afraid David has gone back and forth from the camp a few different times from the battlefield and his father had sent him here sent him there and he sends him back to take some corn and some bread and some cheese to the Army and we continue in verse number 22 and David left his carriage in the hand of The Keeper of the carriage and ran into the army and came and saluted his Brethren and as he talked with them behold there came came up a champion the Philistine of gath Goliath by name out of the armies of the Philistine and spake according to the same words and David heard him this time a different set of ears heard Goliath this time and all the men of Israel when they saw the man fled from him for they were sore afraid bunch of Scaredy Cats ton of them and the men of Israel said have you seen this man that has come up surely to divy Israel and to come up and it shall be that the man who kth him the king will enrich him with great riches and will give him his daughter and make his father the house free in Israel and David spake to the man and stood by him saying what shall be done to the man that kth the Philistine and taketh away the reproach from Israel for who is the uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the Living God I love the the layout of that I know we've read this story some of you thinking my Lord I've I've heard this story since I was a baby right why are you reading this whole text I I love how this is laid out here cuz they just told him everything you get if you kill him and David says what about the fact that he's denying defying God huh I don't care what I get for killing him what about the fact that he's defying God right it don't matter if there's a reward he's standing up against what I believe in right you see that's laid out there perfectly he says he he should defy the armies of the Living God and the people answered him said this manner saying so shall be done to the man that kth him and and and eliab his older brother heard him spake and to the Man eliab's anger was kindled against David and he said why why have you come hither and with whom hast thou left the sheep in the wilderness I Know Thy pride and thy naughtiness of thine heart and th come down that thou uh that thou mightest see the mightest see the battle and David said what have I now done is is is there not a cause he makes that famous statement right and he turned from him toward another and spake after the same manner and the people answered him with the former manner everybody's saying the same thing and when the words were heard which David spake they rehearsed them before Saul and sent for him and David said to Saul let no man's heart fall because of him thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine and Saul said to David thou are not able to go against the Philistines to fight for him with him for thou art but a youth and a and he a man of war from his youth I know a very this a very familiar passage tonight and and I'm I'm going to preach to you very very simple thought but I I do feel very urged in the Lord to bring this to you tonight and it's not so much what I will address tonight as much as a spirit that I feel that is in our society that I would like to address tonight and I'm here to really on this Veterans Day weekend to rally the troops I'm here to to call to the battlefield those that maybe once fought at one time maybe those that once were a part of what we would call Kingdom work and I'm here to Rally you tonight and my title for the next few minutes is simply this preaching to the choir preaching preaching to the choir I know this is not politically correct this is not a church growth thing you wouldn't dare talk about this at the movement conference or anything but I'm going to obey the Lord tonight I wish you'd lay your Bibles down I wish youd lift your hands with me and let's ask the Lord to speak to us God I thank you I thank you so much for what we felt in this room I pray that you would help us tonight to see Lord what you have for us God I pray that you would anoint my voice my mind my heart tonight Lord I want to hear from you Lord I Thank You For What God you you've done all day those that's been baptized those that's been filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost Lord but I I pray that you would lift the church up tonight I pray that you would edify the body I pray that you'd stir up the gift that already lies within a vessel tonight Lord we ask you God to move in this place have your way tonight do whatever you will in this house and we'll give you praise and glory and honor in Jesus name we pray clap your hands to the Lord Jesus name you may be seated you may be seated this evening I'm I'm here to to Rally the army of the Lord D David this keeper of sheep comes to the battlefield where there's a lot of talking going on and not a lot of fighting there's a lot of uh it almost as you read the story we get we get all the dimensions of Goliath we get all he's got this helmet he's nine foot tall he's this he's that he's a bigheaded dude he's this big old Joker and we spend a lot of time talking about him and what he has to say but all we hear from the Army is that they're fearful the army of the Lord is fearful on the hillside with a valley between them and what God has for them and there stands a giant that not only wants to speak against them but speak against their God and I want to tell the church tonight I want to just remind the church tonight I know I know you know this but I just want to remind you that we've got to fight the good fight of faith that we've not come just to check off the box of Christianity and say I've got it and that's good enough but I've got to St stand for what's right I've got to stand for what's right we have the power we are the Church of the Living God and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail against the church no weapon formed against you is going to prosper my God's more than a conqueror I don't walk in anywhere with my head down I don't walk in anywhere thinking that I I don't have what I need to be able to go and do what God's called me to do we are more than able somebody said I'm more than able I'm God's God's Army God's people we are the church we can't forget that we are the church if you could just get that little piece tonight it it'll make you feel like you run through a wall we are a part of the church I'm the bride of Christ everything he's doing right now is preparation to come and get me everything doing right now is proving that he's on my side and he's on my side like never before he's not left you he's not forsaken you it doesn't matter what it looks like it doesn't matter how bad it seems God is for you and nothing can stop you nothing can stand against you I'm here to preach to the choir tonight but I've come to ask you a question do you kill Giants or are you scared I know it don't rhyme I know it ain't going on Twitter but you're either one crowd or the other yeah when it hits your ears it either it causes you to run up and hide behind the rocks in the valley and tremble they were greatly afraid or you could be a little boy that's bringing up some cornbread and some cheese and says I hear something that the last time I checked I don't think that's all right huh you you're either in two you you you could be in the same camp but there's two kinds of people you can be sitting in the same church house but there's two kinds of people you can be looking at the same thing but there's two kinds of people you can be watching the same movie but there's two kinds of people you can be listening to the same song but there's two kinds of people you could be hearing the same message brother Weatherly but there's two kinds of people you could be in this world but there's another kind of people that's not of this world I I don't know about you tonight but uh when it falls on my ears that it's not the truth I want to speak up and say that's a lie we can't hide behind the Rocks I just come to preach to the choir tonight when it comes to my spiritual life how much longer are we going to allow the giant to stand between what God has for you and your family I'm here to ask a father tonight I'm here to ask a young person tonight I'm here to ask a mother tonight is there not a cause huh just just preaching to the choir I know I know that the the Army behind the Rocks the church members in the pews tonight I've come to stir up the fire inside of you to be a conqueror the stand up I I simply couldn't get away from this tonight I'm fearful that there are churches and there are church goers or there Saints of the church that have just simply stopped fighting the choir has stopped singing the song of the redeemed that used to be in your heart we are alive but we are in bondage because we have F forgotten that there's a cause there's a reason behind I there there's a reason why I'm here I'm not just coming for me and my and I I'm coming with some confidence in the God that I serve I feel anxious well don't stay anxious I feel fearful well don't stay fearful I've come and I'm a part of the Church of the Living God I got to fight this good fight of Faith I've got to stand up I've got to speak out yeah we've got Giants in the land and you better believe we've got Giants that seem to be louder and prouder than ever before but we have become in our modern United States forms of Christianity tolerant of the Giant's voice we must stand up we must speak out I was told by a local local Blunt County non-denominal Pastor recently that they had to close down their small groups so many people were moving to the area here in blunk county that they were going to change some of their terminology they needed to change some of their terminology to make it a little more palatable a little more appeasing to the new crowd they were trying to adapt their current events adapt to the things in the culture speak a more acceptable language to all the people all right revamp a little bit they are changing who they are in attempt to win the World terrible terrible terrible terrible strategy it's a terrible strategy do do we not get it you might as well surrender if you're not going to speak up you might as well go ahead and crawl over to the other side of the valley and just say hey I'll serve you if you're not going to say anything because little did they know that that Philistine Army brother Nolan was on the side other side of that mountain that evening and by not speaking up they were already surrendered they were they were already had it not been for the ears of David that came up into Camp I get it I'm and I'm going to refer to it over and over again I'm preaching to the choir tonight we're living in a world that has new tactics they value politeness over truth they speak the truth in love huh but by all means speak the truth because there's got to be a cause hear me tonight there has to be a cause in fact Let me let me mess with you theologically a little bit some historians and some commentaries say that if they they take that out of context that when he writes we speak the truth in love Paul says that we may grow into all things which is the head even of Christ in love is not the manner in which you speak the truth but rather the reason in which you do I'm here to tell you it don't matter how you say it you better speak the truth why because you love it I'm so in love with it that I'm going to keep growing and keep growing and keep growing and keep growing and I yes I want to cudle it yes I want to make it palatable yes I love you and yes God can save you no matter what you look like no matter what you come through but nothing's going to save them and free them but the truth hear me tonight if you are speaking the truth you have to love it David loved it that's why he spoke up it's the truth that sets me free no truth no Freedom David said is there not a cause God's done so much for me to be tolerant of everybody else's philosophies and to allow this next Generation to be swayed by my silence I think not I will stand right here and believe with all my heart the same thing that a previous generation preached the same thing that our forefathers brought to us of the great Apostolic doctrine of the movement that happened in the book of Acts it's it's slithering its way I can see it it's slithering its way into the minds of preachers of my generation that oh it's just it just just you don't have to necessarily say anything about that the absence of truth will bring what we call the unknown the unknown we find it in in the book of Acts chapter 17 Paul Paul's in Athens acts 17:16 if you want to make a note there he's in Acts he's in Athens and he he sees a city the whole City's given to idolatry the all those living in Athens spent more time in idolatry than anything else acts 1721 we see that he begins to refer to the religious State they said that one some of the some of the commentary said they had over 30,000 they I think in Athens rather small town they had more Idols than they had people it was it was an it was built upon idolatry but Paul has this this famous passage here where he's really commending them he he's he's speaking them I commend you for your religious efforts but Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said you men of Athens I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious for as I passed by I beheld devotions I found an altar with the inscription to the unknown God huh they were offering sacrifice they had an altar they they had all these gods they were if you could see it this way with me they're on the battlefield they're in the Pew they have an altar but they have no God accidentally fools accidentally agnostic all right accidentally atheist accident ly ignorant but I got an altar but I got a church but I got community but I'm but we have no God we have no truth and at some point in the the the the the the history and the journey of these people all of a sudden they said I'm going to offer up a a sacrifice to this I'm offer up a sacrifice offer of a before you know it you have a religious group of people with no God we were tolerant of all things and now we worship something that's not even there accidental it's a form of godliness a form of of religion I've got all the weapons I've got the shield I've got all that we need we've got the lights and the sound and the music but do we have the truth right huh some of us can't kill Giants because we don't know God like David knew him right I'm preaching to the choir tonight you're your tolerance is the devil's Victory your tolerance is the culture's Conquering people are going to be uncomfortable with the truth they always have been they always will be I've got to make sure that the choir keeps singing why because it's our job it is our duty but God sees what's going on and for for God's sake I pray that a generation would keep singing for the Next Generation keep speaking the truth keep talking the truth I've got to stand for the truth why for this section right here I got to keep God forbid this pull pit ever be a place where we've got to cater so much to those that are outside the walls that the choir stops singing we forget the cause brother Perry we forget why we're here we're here to lift up the name of Jesus and if you want to be a part of this Jesus song come on in and sing with us but I'm not going to change the lyrics because it's comfortable to you I'm not going to change the song because it don't fit your fancy people that know their God people that know their God will be strong and do exploits why could David do strong things do great things he knew is God huh he knew his God strong people know God they know how to fight don't you don't you listen to what the culture is saying don't you don't you know that there there's other ways to win the world you're you're going to have to give on a few things in this whole conservative Church age you know that's that's a Dying Breed huh you can cow behind the rocks and hide in your tent if you want to but my sons and your daughters and your children need to see us fight like never before they need to see you speak speak up for the things of God like never before there's mothers and fathers in this place tonight the greatest thing you can do is pull your kid up by you and say here oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord there is we're a part of this thing that that's not going to fail we're a part of this thing that's never going to end his word is not going to return void it's going to stand when everything else is on fire I got to keep singing the song I've Got to decades now the churches have watered down messages and to ultimately to seek a crowd that I'll be honest with you crowds that don't want to change but they want the church to change they don't want God in their life they want a back door into heaven there's Christians pastors today that you're scrolling through and you're watching on social media that are an alienating the choirs of their Church the Saints of the church that are trying to preach to a people that aren't even hungry for change I know it's not politically correct but God forg for for God forbid that we look to try to do some kind of new scheme to grow a church and we forget about the faithful saints of God that have been here Time and Time and Time Again prayer meeting after prayer meeting TR Setters who have paided the path I will not do it we cannot fall prey to it I'm here why because somebody had a prayer meeting over in a church on McGinley street thank God for the choir thank God for the faithful saints of God who come to church on a Sunday night thank God for 600 some odd people that'll show up on a Wednesday night come in straight from work and hadn't ate dinner thank God thank God I will not neglect the faithfulness of good people to try to cater to some watered down Christianity it's slipping in it's slipping in and you better watch it it's happening all across even within our movement what does it say to a brother Zander and a sister Zander when we start watering down that message huh what does it say to the faithful saints of God who's been doing this for years when you say I'm just going to do it a little less God forbid God forbid God forbid that you hide behind the Rocks when a generation's been fighting giants young people you ought to be up on your feet louder than you've ever been in all your life why cuz we can't stop what God's been doing in marille Tennessee I've got to continue to stand for the truth I've got to continue to sing the songs I've got to continue to faithfulness to the house of God is still right young people every time the doors are open even if it ain't a service being at church when the doors are open is still right don't fall prey to Modern Christianity God help me tonight I can't help it I can't help it and then I know you it's on social media it is what it is but let's just have less church because the world ain't going to come to church that much let's just say that there ain't nobody ain't no hey ain't nobody in the world going to come to church that much let's cancel some Services let's let's let's just let's just dial it da back a little bit let's just have church for an hour what in the what in the world you've forgotten the people that's been doing this for decades that built this place that had church every night of the week and what makes you think what makes you think that all of a sudden you're going to get by with doing less and less and less when the Giants of this world are getting louder and louder and louder ask for me in my house we will serve the Lord ask for me in my house we will continue to step forward ask for me in my house there's no going back there's no doing less I know I know I hear it I hear it from all all angles well this world we live in is just different yeah I'll tell you this times are different they sure are and we need more devotion not less devotion we need more church not less church we need more powerful moves of God and we need more sermons than we've ever needed huh we we we need experience with God we need Community thank God for Revival services that went to another level and messed up our schedules huh oh God I I I I I thank God for Revival that that would happen that would cause us to cancel some things huh all right huh oh what if what if Church breaks out and we decide we won't come back tomorrow night well brother ham we might have to cancel some ball games all right what what if we call a Prayer Revival well we might have to we might have to change a few things on the school schedule huh huh that's our culture I said with a group of pastors the other day something come up this Minister's coming to town we're going to try to have a Revival Revival now is just Sunday morning we have a special service Sunday night people just won't come on an off night we got a fight the choir can't stop singing We got to get out from behind the Rocks Goliath's been talking long enough the movement started in that book of Acts and I've not come for another cultured carnal Costless Christianity on some false Doctrine Foundation of less consecration when when when when I when's the last time you got in the presence of God and you lost your dignity I I I I can't get back to I I I can't get really past this point that I believe we've got to get back to what got us here I can't stop singing I can't stop fighting I know we've got routines and I know we've got things that we come and we do and I hear at statements at least I'm here just a couple times a week my grandparents I began to think this afternoon I began to read through this book my great-grandfather's biography you know what he would do to get to Worship in what we worshiped in tonight huh in this atmosphere in this environment to feel what we felt to have it as good as we have it it doesn't does matter how how how good we get it we cannot forget the cause of why we're here choirs got to sing the Saints got to be so in love with Jesus we need each other and we need community and we we we need all the small groups and we need all the things that we do outside of here and we need fellowship and we need the the the the the the the bread and the cheese don't get me wrong but we need the power of God and we need the demonstration of the Holy Ghost because I've come to tell you that without the Holy Ghost we'll destroy small group without the Holy Ghost Inside of us we'll destroy any other communities or tribes that we have we've got to come together as many times as we can in a week and see the powerful move of God Let It Be Moved upon our young people let it move upon every age every tribe every tongue every we've got to have it I know I'm preaching to the choir but the health of the house is what changed the world and the world has caused us to think that we can't Pander to our own audience how foolish how ignorant to think well you're just you're just you're just preaching to the choir huh oh I hear it all the time you're just you're just pandering to your own audience you just you you you you guys just get in there and you I hear more about oh I hear this all you hear more about what you're against and what you're for well genius in order to be for something you got to be against something that's why truth eight of the Ten Commandments are negative to your flesh which means eight out of the 10 times they got up in the Old Testament it was going to be confrontational to you I we're not here for Comfort we're here for consecration I'm here to experience the almighty power of the Living God I got to know him that's how I know to fight I got to have the ears to hear and the Heart oh how did David know to kill Goliath the levitical law said anyone who blasphemes the name of the Lord that the congregation should Stone him so what's he do he goes gets five smooth stones and he kills Goliath huh logically he didn't need five you think he just going to get more than one shot at old bigheaded Joker huh but the Bible says the law which he would have known said to Stone him why because he was blaspheming the Lord he was defying the Lord knowing the word is what enables you to fight knowing the word of God is what's going to cause you to speak up some people are hiding behind the Rocks because we don't know enough scripture to get out from behind them huh oh I know I know we you can't you can't just all of a sudden have the answers to all the questions but I want to be pursuing the truth I want to know the truth I want I want to stand here on Veterans Day weekend and I want to preach to an army of Believers that I got to put some more weapons in my pocket I got to put some more strength in my voice that people are going to be uncomfortable with the truth and I can't water it down and I can't compromise it but more than that I got to know it huh I got to know it young person we got to spend some time in the word of God we got to study and know the answers know the solutions to the problems I know just preaching to the choir tonight I want to speak against the agenda of the world today this truth this truth will make you free the truth is tied to Freedom over and over and over and over again we see it happen in scripture so many times if we live the truth I'm convinced that people will want to come be a part of it right you've come too late to tell us it don't work a Bible study is what set somebody's free h a Bible study the word we can't create a bell curve because somebody got a new philosophy I'm here to preach to you tonight it's still happening it's prevalent we can't create some curve of the Gospel or curve of the truth because there's somebody's reading out of a different version of the Bible huh then Peter said un the them repent and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that's the new King James version he says repent and let everyone of you mother-in-law you'll love this acts 238 in the King James version you know says and be baptized oh well that's just that's it means the same thing we're saying the same thing saying let let let let little let is however is an allowance while B is a commandment I don't know about you but I don't want to take any chances I know I'm just preaching to the choir I know you know repent and be baptized every one of you in the the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost but don't let Goliath tell you anything different H God's not going to create some kind of curve for you because you read the message Bible he that knoweth to do good and do it is not his sin by the truth sell it not I can't change it you can't change it I love the truth enough to tell you about about it huh don't lose your song We Can't Stop Singing because people don't like it we'll end up with an altar to an unknown God you can be tolerant of a lot of things be tolerant of somebody that can't drive huh be tolerant of the boys that don't put you know don't put the seat up in the bathroom be tolerant my God be tolerant in some other things just chill out a little bit huh huh quit losing your mind on the road be tolerant of that but don't be tolerant of false Doctrine huh don't be tolerant of watered down Christianity don't be tolerant of watering down what we call Sin we got to preach right is right and wrong is wrong huh oh I know I'm just preaching in the choir tonight so I go ahead and get there with you a man is a man and a woman is a woman not just because their DNA says so but the Bible says a man shouldn't wear that which pertaineth to a woman it's the truth young people young people the woman shall not wear that which pertaineth to a man neither shall a man put on a woman's garment for all that do so are an Abomination under the Lord thy God why do you do what you do why do you act like you act why do you preach What You Preach why do you dress like you dress honey I'm a child of the king I've been called out of Darkness into this Marvelous Light I am a chosen generation a royal priesthood don't fall pra to those who come at you with some kind of culture lingo oh so you think you're better than me no I don't think I'm better than you I think I'm who God created me to be we've been doing this a long time it just all starting to make sense to some people when you can't tell the difference between a man and a woman huh I want to walk talk dress any way that I can to be associated with this right here huh H why cuz I want to be associated with the truth truth he he that saith I know him and keepeth not his Commandments the truth is not in him huh young people people of the the fac abortion is a sin the Next Generation needs to hear it and they need to hear it from the church from the people of God the choir has got to keep singing the Saints have got to stand up we've got to kill the Giants of Our Generation it's the truth it's the truth you can't be a Christian and believe in let me let me give you a little something right here I'll give you a little something in your pocket a little dagger you got in your pocket next time you say somebody somebody say they're Christian they they believe in abortion take them to the New Testament take them to the gospels where Jesus shows up and he ain't walking yet brother Nolan he's in the womb of Mary and he shows up and John the Baptist is in the womb of Elizabeth and it says that the Babe leaped in her womb now you say well that's that's all well and good I felt babies kick and all that you know huh that word babe if you rewind and you look at the scripture brother or when he says the babe that was wrapped in swaddling clothes and lied him in a Manger the Greek word brother Nolan is the same which tells me that God says he's the same in the manger as he is in the womb you can't obey this Bible and see it the way they see it we either got to stand for it or you're hiding behind the Rocks it's the truth it's the truth come on young people you got to buy it and it's not for sale oh I feel the Holy Ghost oh I feel the Holy Ghost we got to keep our song we got to keep our calls I heard somebody between here and Vietnam say the other day you know they're preaching on the Holy Ghost and I've already got that so I'm GNA go hang out here in the lobby fool preaching it don't matter who's in the room we all need the Holy Ghost we all have got to stir up that gift don't forget the cause I ought to speak it oh if I've got the Holy Ghost and everything that happens in here on a Sunday I ought to allow that voice to flow up out of me every time I come inside of these four walls come on choir we got to keep singing there's one Lord there's one Faith there's one baptism here o f a the Lord our God is one Lord the choir has got to keep on singing young people you got to know it you can't wait for beheld his glory and the glory is the only only of the father full of grace and truth John is talking about Jesus being begotten which means he had a beginning which means he is mortal and he is
