Matthew 25 and verse number 41 just want to have a little fun tonight with our students in the word of the Lord I believe church should be fun amen amen I believe Church ought to be a good time Matthew 25 and 41 just one verse of scripture I like you to be seated says this then shall he say also unto them on the left hand depart from me you cursed into Everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels prepared for the devil and his angels my monitors are just a little bit hot my title tonight is this and I hope it'll make sense here in just a few minutes and again it is we're preaching to the students but about the students and I think we can all just jump on board with the Next Generation uh tonight but this is my title is this just simply the devil fears the flames we may walk into some gymnasiums where we're the underdog and they look at us like man it's going to be an easy night we may walk on some fields and we might not be much of a threat but I know one place and one person that's scared to death of this place can't stand what happens in this place he cannot stand one ounce of what happens here Monday through Friday but much less what happens on Sunday so I'm preaching to you for just a few minutes on the devil fears the flames you can be seated Satan is cruel crafty he's a master of falsehood he's the father of lies he's deceived many by his lies there's all kind of things we can talk about him and many times we paint the devil out to be somebody that we ought to be scared of he's got a synagogue in Revelations too he can have a seat in church of which he can work from in Revelations 2 13. he has powers signs and wonders in second Thessalonians he deceives the whole world in Revelations 12 and 9. he deceives uh this one and that one he uses Sinners to prophesy uses false Doctrine and cast out devils and do he does Works he works miracles even in Revelation 16 4 14. he has his own Doctrine he uses his own false prophets false Christ even even he's got evil men seducers it goes on and on you he disguises himself as an angel of Light Satan has so many tactics that he uses against the church against the Next Generation to try to defeat them he accuses he condemns he devours he imprisons he ensnares he takes advantage of he steals the word away in Mark 4 15. it should be noted from a Biblical study that anything that obsesses oppresses or possesses you to the point it hinders you from being everything that God wants you to be without a doubt is a spiritual battle without any doubt if it distracts you from who God wants you to be it is a spiritual battle there are no record uh no recorded cases of demon possession in the Old Testament but you find it seems to run rampant in the New Testament and we see this is because the war that is being raised between God and the devil is a spiritual Conflict for man's Souls the Warfare has moved from Heaven to Earth at the Incarnation and we are still fighting a ground Warfare tonight somebody say tonight but the devil he must uh he's he's we we see all the things we can read about him talk about him he's indeed a powerful and vicious opponent if you want to look at him that way but he labors under a few crippling facts at the top of the list however would be our opening text and that is he's got a dreaded sentence of Eternal imprisonment and horrible punishment without possible role Parole in the Lake of Fire he can't Dodge it he can't get around it we have the promise of if you'll obey the gospel and you'll do what God asks you to do and you'll walk uprightly and you'll live holy that he's gone away to prepare a place for us that we can't fathom we can't explain we can't wrap our minds around it we have a hope for a future that we Comfort one another with the words of how great it's going to be with the devil all he gets is a little passage there and Matthew says is prepared for you some fire he gets cast out and I think sometimes with the little you know Google images and little things that gets depicted he's like sitting down there in the fire but no that's prepared for him he's going to be locked down there he's going to be cast down there he and his angels the devil must work under some terrifying realities that every moment of his existence he knows that his time is short the Bible says which uh which I I've come to this realization in studying over the past few weeks that uh what is it exactly that the devil could be scared of what is it that he could be fearful of and it seems to be interesting how the Bible says that the devil knows his time is short and he works over time and this and this and this he's got to be no he's got to be taking his many people with him as possible to experience what has been prepared for him I believe that the devil is fearful of the flames Matthew 25 and 41 says there is an everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels just waiting on them Revelations 20 and 10 says in the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the Beast and the false prophet are and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever he knows what he's got coming huh and let me pose to you just a weird thought because I have a weird mind that perhaps that's why Jesus came and fulfilled an Old Testament type and Shadow that it seemed to be brother Jacob every time the Lord wanted to commune with man he couldn't do it without fire it's very odd like you could have used any element you could have went through and you could have just simply brought your presence down but no you want to lead us with a pillar of huh you couldn't even get to the water without going through the fire and by all means if the fire is the first stop it's got to be frustrating that the Lord would use the element that's going to consume him for eternity to do the very thing Pastor that he couldn't have access to he would put fire on an altar and allow mankind to walk up and put an animal over the top of it and allow an animal to cover its sins when the devil just did one wrong thing he got kicked out how frustrating it must be to look down and be reminded by fire that we get Redemption and he gets eternal torment how frustrating it must be to know that when we walk into the presence that fire it's on the candlesticks and the fire that's on the altar of incense and the fire that comes in it's got to be the most frustrating thing for him because it's reminding him of our Redemption but it's reminding him of his ruin he don't like the fire he's associated with it but it's ultimately it's something he don't really I really think God's just maybe uh doing something I and I love to do it I love I love and I have to be careful of it that's why I don't play sports much anymore there's nothing like really rubbing it in somebody's face especially if somebody talks a lot and God knows that devil talks a lot huh you love it yeah they run their mouth the whole time there's nothing better than being able to just kind of rub their nose in it and as much as the devil talks don't you love don't you know that the lord loves when somebody comes to an altar of repentance on a Sunday morning and comes and Falls before the fire and that fire burns them and renews them and revives them and turns everything the devil's tried to put on them and everything the devil's tried to to to to bind them up with all of a sudden they come to an altar of fire and it burns it right off of them just rub their face in it brother Joel this just just remind him huh it's so it's so interesting to me because I I I I I in fact Hebrews 12 and 29 says for our God is a consuming fire it brings a whole new meaning to every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord if our God's a consuming fire they've got to sit in his midst for all eternity in the consequences of their sin every knee is going to Bow but I'm going to allow I'm going to allow these people to come and I want you to see it from a different uh from a different angle maybe perhaps when we leave here tonight just how you look at the Devil because he's afraid of you he he doesn't see you the way you think he sees you he he's painted out to be this roaring lion seeking whom he may devour but he's scared of the fire he's scared of people that'll pray he's fearful of some young folks that learn how to open up their mouth and begin to call upon the name of the Lord begin to say well he says he says if my people who are called by my name he says Let the Fire in Leviticus 6 13 Let the Fire of my altar never go out the devil devil fears the Flames of a prayer meeting he fears the fire of your altar the devil is scared of people who know how to share the fire Jeremiah 29 you know it then I said I will not make mention of him nor speak any more in his name but his word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones and I was weary with forebearing that I could not stay I'm telling a student tonight I'm telling somebody tonight that you need to change your perception that perhaps he's a little more afraid of you than you realize huh he don't like the fire he don't like to be reminded of his Doom we are going to see Revival if we could stay on fire stay on fire Luke 3 16. it's amazing it just keeps showing up huh John answered saying I told the immediate people I said I won't preach as long as my scripture list John answered saying unto them all I indeed baptize you with water but one mightier than I cometh and the latchet of the whose shoes I'm not worthy to unloose he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire it's like you could have just said the Holy Ghost no I just need to remind the devil you could have just left it at Holy you know I need to remind him that it's like fire I love it you don't devil you ain't gonna forget your torment you ain't going for it I got something prepared for you that's why Acts 2 and verse number one comes and when the day of Pentecost it could have just been a wind it could oh it could have been anything Landry but he said when the day of Pentecost what's fully come they were all in one Accord in one place and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a sound would have been enough right as of a Russian Mighty Wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and it appeared unto them clove in tongues like what like fire set upon each of them and they were all field with the Holy Ghost fear of the fire he fears the fire you start speaking in tongues I'm here to tell somebody tonight you got to feed the flame not everybody's going to hell I I'm here to tell somebody there's some students I watch tonight's got some fire not everybody is chasing culture I've got some young folks in this youth group that are on fire and I'm here to remind you and let you know the devil can't stand you I'm here to encourage you tonight I know you're here preaching all the time and we make him seem like he's just around every corner and he's trying to chip you up on everything you do but I believe I've got some young folks in this place tonight that's made up their mind I'm going to serve the Lord no matter what happens I'm going to worship God no matter what happens I'm gonna Pray when nobody else is praying I'm Gonna Worship when nobody else is worshiping I will keep the fire burning ah I'm gonna stay on fire I love it I I want I want Apostolic Christian Academy to be the the place that the devil feels like I ain't going nowhere around there and kids are and kids they they they actually submit they're not rebellious huh they don't just stand around during prayer time huh they're they're active they're doing something because when you get to praying and the fire starts falling it's just a reminder look at this with me Revelations chapter 5 and verse number one interesting passage I used to try to stay away from Revelation because I can't really comprehend everything over there but verse number one says and I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written Within and on the backside sealed with Seven Seals and I saw a strong Angel somebody say a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice who is worthy to open the seal and to loose the seals thereof and no man in Heaven Nor in Earth neither under the Earth was able to open the book neither to look thereon and I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book neither to look there on John is if you could see this with me I can explain it uh in the best way I can he's watching the end time unfold before his eyes in the place of Revelation he uses the phrase I saw 36 times and in 34 verses he's seeing things he don't understand he's seeing things trying to depict him at this point he is overcome with somewhat of what we would probably call anxiety and he's overcome with a desperation because he doesn't know how things are going to end but from John's limited Earthly perspective it seems the destiny is hanging in the balance because nobody's worthy to open up the seals of the scroll of judgment which will vindicate the redeemed of all ages there is no one in heaven the Dominion of God and there is in Earth the Dominion of man or in the under the Earth the Dominion of Satan found capable of completing this task there's no one seems to be such an interesting thing here this veteran of intense personal persecution and countless battles or religious leaders he's dealt with Roman emperors and Satan himself has now reduced we see him now reduced to tears because the outcome of Ages seems to be uncertain here in the Book of Revelations John says I wept much he begins to weep there to sob to well aloud says and and the the things of God is be looking and some people get called up in the Book of Revelations and and and again it's it's one of those books but you better be careful diving off into it the things of God are often far different from the way they appear to us from our Earthly perspective so one of the worshiping Elders young people steps over to John and says do not weep Behold The Lion John looks and says I see a lamb look at this Revelations 5 verse number uh verse number five says and one of the elders said to him weep not Behold The Lion of the tribe of Judah and the root of David had prevailed to open the book and loose the Seven Seals the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as it had been slain having seven horns and seven eyes which were the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the Earth an elder walks over and changes his perspective and is specific there Simon he says a worshiping Elder huh because worship can change your perspective and I want to preach to a young person tonight that I want to change your perspective of the enemy I want to change your perspective of how you look at the Devil and though you might be weeping and you might be depressed and you might be anxious according to statistics I'm here to show you a fire I'm here to show you a way that you can worship instead of weeping and it change your perspective he said come over here he said it's not a lamb it's it's a lion he said I want your look he said you got to stop weeping and start worshiping interesting passage real real real intriguing and he says you've got to get your eyes on the solution you've got to look at it from a different angle have you ever felt hopeless you ever felt beat up you ever felt like the devil's got the upper hand maybe overwhelmed I've talked to students they feel like they're just trapped or they feel like they're against the wall it's simply because you haven't seen the end of the story you forget what the back of the book says the back of the book says that his prepared place is a Lake of Fire and what is his end is your beginning you can go to a altar of repentance and you can begin to call upon the name of the Lord and he can rid you of all those things at an altar I I want to change your perspective tonight I I know that that heaven's script of Ages is called sometimes the mystery of God but in this passage because Satan can't understand it he also is powerless to change it and many times the only option the devil has is to mess up your perception and to make him look greater and to make him look stronger and to make you be the one who's dealing with fear which ultimately is quite the opposite he is scared to death of you he's scared to death that you comprehend your potential he's scared to death that you figure out what God created you to do he's scared to death that you really come to grips with the idea that you have the power of the Resurrection inside of you he's fearful that all of a sudden you comprehend just what's going on when you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost when you're baptized in the name of Jesus Christ he can't do anything about it so he wants to convince you that God's left you God don't care about you God don't he you don't he don't have a plan for you and he gets you all in the mully grubs and I've been looked over and I I I've just been forgotten him and I I've graduated or I'm in a new grade or I'm in this or I'm in that and I I'm just the one that don't get the opportunities and all of a sudden he's painted your problems bigger and you find yourself weeping I want to change your perspective tonight help you to understand that there there is a God inside of you many of you feel with the baptism of the Holy Ghost that God has given us the power that he's given us a key if we could look at it that way called worship that can change our perspective on Heavenly things because when we get the fire going he don't like the flames he doesn't like the Flames at all satan cannot even begin to understand the word of God he can't begin to understand the things that God has done for you because ultimately he lost his keys a long time ago huh he lost his ability to access things a long time ago he lost his access to the purposes of God the moment that he rebelled and he has been frantically trying to Bluff his way to Victory ever since I I hope you can see it tonight let's look at Paul's uh First Corinthian his letter to Corinth in Chapter 2 and verse number seven but we speak the wisdom of God in mystery in a mystery even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our Glory which not of the princes of the world knew for had they known it don't give the devil so much credit some of us are in here we blame everything that goes wrong by the time a service is over by the time a week's over he acts like he's some mighty Hulk that's able to do all these no he's not the fool killed Jesus yeah he didn't of all things that he literally gave he gave his keys away and he didn't even realize it he's not as smart as you give him credit we give him way too much credit when really it's just our decision I say it all the time but I'll say it again the the only battles that you lose are the ones you choose to lose huh the only ones because you've already won by having the power of the Holy Ghost by having the fire to be able to call upon the name of the Lord to be able to call upon the name of the Lord but to be able to speak the name of Jesus and all of a sudden he has to move and all of a sudden he has to displace himself he can't understand it for had they known they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory but as it is written I had not seen nor ear heard neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him if you could get as interested in finding out the things that God has for you that you don't comprehend as you do looking at the Devil and how much he's after you I guarantee you this if if you're not pursuing God more passionately than the devil's pursuing you you're not going to make it huh I I've got to see you say well he's after me and he's on my trail and every time I try to do something he seems to be there trying to devour me he fears you you've got to turn it around it's time for you to fight the good fight of faith and stop sitting back wondering what his next move is this generation is not going to be some generation that's cowering in a corner no he's scared of me he's scared of what's in your lungs he's scared of what's in your mind he's scared of the prophecy that's in Europe God wants to do great things through you God wants to do Mighty things through you he says of them that love him but God hath revealed them unto us by his he revealed them through the fire for the fire searches the spirit searcheth all things yea the Deep things of God the fire gives us access to things that the devil don't have access to worship is that key that fire is that key to lift you up into God's perspective the higher you go and worship the smaller the devil in his kingdom look I I feel so strongly over the past couple weeks and I've talked about it this weekend I feel that it is it is imperative that we as as one generation to the Next Generation we are going to empower you with purpose that is greater than your problems I I I'm here to tell some young person tonight if you'll grab a hold of some purpose if you'll grab a hold of the fire of the calling of God if you'll grab a heart of the anointing if you'll grab a hold of a perspective that allows you to get where God's at your problems won't look very big I believe very strongly that there there needs to be a loosing there needs to be some students that begin to see it the way that God sees it because when you see things from Heaven's perspective the one oh the one opening the scroll which controls the ages is not a slain lamb but a strong lion once John understood this he could stop weeping and start shouting huh well once you can see God the way I know we easily connect to him as the land the lamb slain it's easy to connect to him as the cross it's easy many times in a youth service to get young people to come up and weep but I want to change your perspective there's a time to weep but there's also a time to dance there's a time to shout there's a time to let out a roar there's a time to do what God's called you to do there's a time to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover there's a time to begin to operate in offense begin to operate in what God's called you to do God's calling somebody to stop weeping and start shouting if God be for you then who can be against you Jesus is not just the lamb slain in Revelation 5 the Bible says he was the lamb slain at Calvary he was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world so his temporary defeat brother Nolan has always always been part of the plan him being the lamb slain is always been a part of the plan it's always been a part of God's ultimate plan for ultimate Victory and Satan took the bait sit with me after Calvary Satan and the demons they had just three short days to celebrate killing God 's latest Prophet before before you can can you imagine how I I can't imagine what that was like huh here comes the Lord we all think he's in the Tomb he walks right on in he had to knock he walks right on into hell what's going on in here what I I've come to take Dominion I've come for the keys I'm sorry these nursery workers are wondering what in the world is going on out here I thought we killed you huh can you imagine a conversation oh you you thought you killed a prophet but you killed hero Israel the Lord our God is one Lord you killed uh he said I thought I thought once and once we established this obviously obviously you're not dead you're here but once we established it I thought I had I thought I had dominion over the grave and death and hell I thought we had an agreement here he said not anymore you see when when you killed me I can't imagine the puzzled look what are you doing here since the fall of Man you know the the devil just kind of had his way you gave me Authority when you crucified me at Calvary it wasn't just another prophet was it just another man and so we see here that Satan I can't help but think he just began to comprehend all kinds of scriptures because he didn't understand them don't give him that much credit huh perhaps he began to understand that thou believest that there is one God and thou Dost do well the Devils also believe and tremble all satan did that day was killed a lamb to unveil a lion he has no clue what he just did he just tore the Veil he just opened up the door he just allowed you to be able to walk in and turn the table it used to be that he could cause 300 years of Deliverance and disaster and ruin and allow people to be conquered by the culture in the Book of Judges but now there's a opportunity where mankind that used to be just mankind that God was trying to lead on the outside but now you're able to walk in through the fire and become that lion yourself huh Revelations 1 17 says and when I saw him I fell at his feet as dead and he said his right hand laid his right hand upon me saying to me fear not for I am the first and the last I am he that liveth and was dead and behold I Am Alive forevermore amen and have the keys to hell and of death yeah I I love this because I it's it's just like the Lord just he just knows how to if you want to think like God's things sometimes when people are against you you just got to enjoy some things he rubs his nose in the ground so much huh so unintentionally it's like the Lord he he it's not like he's stopping to do it but every time somebody comes to an altar of repentance he just reminds him of the fire he ain't even got the keys to his own house Lord just walks in whatever he wants to he's like a dog on a leash he's he can't do nothing Satan let me ask you this young person tonight older person if Satan don't have the keys to his own house how Incarnation is he locking you up how do we get so bound up messed up frustrated huh angry and fearful I'm here to change them to change her to beater tonight you ought to have a lion inside of you hey you don't walk around with a child of God knows down in the ground oh I just can't get out of this trouble I just can't get out I'm here to tell you if you'll start the fire up it'll run some of them thoughts off if you'll begin to do some things that the Bible commands you to do all of a sudden there will be free thinking all of a sudden you'll be able to walk in the freeness of God you'll be able to walk in the spirit and the renewing of the strength of God huh it's that simple I I can't handle I can't handle and and Lord knows I'm not the most patient person I barely wait on a microwave huh not the most patient person I can't handle people walking around getting beat up all the time greater is he that's within you than he that's within this world and it he don't even have the keys to his own house Jesus has absolute power over physical death spiritual death and when he he even said it to the thief on the cross today shalt thou be with me in Paradise he was speaking of the home of the Dead it had been under the control of Satan since the Garden of Eden but according to job 3 17 if you want to look that up Jesus went through the death into the grave and he came out with the keys to both he speaks to man a man on a cross knowing hey just give me a few minutes I'm gonna breathe my last breath I'm gonna go down there and get the keys and I'm gonna let you in just give me a few minutes and I can activate I hope you can see it the way I see it it's just fun it's just the Bible but it's simply fun Psalms 68 18 Jehovah thou has descended on high and has led captivity captive and has received gifts from men yea for the rebellious also that the Lord God might dwell among them Ephesians 4 and 8 Jesus wherefore he saith when he ascended up on high he led the Captivity captive and gave gifts unto men Ezekiel 37 13 and ye shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened up your Graves o my people and brought you up out of your Graves I'm telling somebody tonight don't forget he's got the keys I know you were buried in baptism but you can unlock some things in your life and you don't have to have a pastor you don't have to have a prayer Warrior you just gotta have the fire have the Holy Ghost Inside of You you don't have to have 120 folks singing you just begin to say oh mighty God oh in the name of Jesus I rebuke those thoughts in the name of Jesus I rebuke that anxiety in the name of Jesus somebody could get some victory tonight if you'd start worshiping and stop worrying somebody get some victory tonight if you'd start worshiping and stop looking at everything that's wrong and everything that's oh we can all make a list of mile long and we can cling to the almighty cross but he didn't stay on that cross he came out as a lion of Judah roaring shaken I'm telling somebody there was nothing more powerful than the resurrection and I want to live on the other end of it I don't want to always be clinging to the cross and laying before God with all my problems I've come tonight as a Victorious child of God he's scared of you he is scared to death of you it's all of a sudden's become a little key shaking party oh I can't ask Lazarus who Jehovah is huh ask the son of the Widow and name ask the daughter of Jarius if Jesus is Jehovah if Satan is powerless in the realm of your death Your Last Enemy according to First Corinthians 15 that he is powerless in the realm of your life understand that if he's powerless in your death then he's powerless in your life he he all the only thing he's got the only card he's got to play is deception that's why he's the father of Lies he can't conceive anything else he can only conceive lies he can only run that mouth that's all he can do and you've got a key in your mouth called worship that will fan a flame you've got a key on your ring of your heart called prayer that's like gas on a fire you young folks have a key on your ring called passionate praise that will shut the devil up and it's so hot that no weapon formed against me shall prosper might as well stop building it might as well stop welding it might as well start trying to figure out how you're going to attack this youth group how you're going to come against this school how are you going to come against this church I've come to tell somebody tonight he's scared of you your enemies are running that mouth like never before why they're scared to death of you that's all they do is talk cause I've got the fire it's the same thing you could see it manifest you could be seen it you can see it manifest yourself in its enemies I'm not gonna go here too long it's not what I've come to preach about but people that have left the faith are envious of the fire when they see the fire happening and they've left the fire there's something created inside of them that only the fire can fill and so it convicts them that they're not in the house so what do they do what their father tells them to do it's the only thing he can conceive he's the father of Lies he conceives the thought he conceives it's this is all he can all he can muster up what the devil meant for evil God meant it for good and Paul said in First Corinthians 2 10 see this for me he says he says simply he says what he didn't know has been revealed to us by God's spirit I'm thankful that when I come into His presence and I begin to pray in the the spirit I begin to pray in the fire that God begins to reveal some things to me brother Mayo that the devil don't know that my he's scared of the fire it keeps him on the Outside the Fire will reveal things to you that you don't even understand the fire will reveal things to you that you don't comprehend and I'm here to tell somebody tonight the devil's on the outside looking in he can't even get in you'd unlocked him out of his own house you took dominion over the end of your life through the death of your life so I'm here to tell you if you've got power at the resurrection why don't you claim that power right now live in it act in it be oh I can't help it it's just a we've had for some reason he could be seated for some reason over the past couple months we've had a couple encounters with snakes that little family adventure we run into a snake it was actually kind of scary the kids were right there around a little copperhead all wound up and I'm the Georgia redneck that gets to kill it huh brother Carpenter tells me there's there's some kind of garden utensil around back I go get it go to swing it it breaks in my hand floats down the water I'm like oh this is great we end up doing something to it get it killed we were making a fire to roast some hot dogs and I took that snake was dead its whole head was gone I stuck that thing over that fire by the clay when it started doing all kinds of stuff no head everybody starts screaming son come home the other night I'm laying in the bed my phone rings and brother Nolan he's got a snake in his driveway you got to get over here I come over there I mean this thing's about was the lead worshiper huh and he turns him into a snake ain't got no legs ain't got no arms he's scared to death of us he can't run he can't fight back all he can do is slither and strike everything about snake you can pick up its tail you mess with it what is everybody worried about his mouth huh devil can't dance devil can't shout devil can't lift his hands that's how he's depicted to us they don't need no hands he's just going to hell he's just prepared a fire that's all he has to look to and we find ourselves and many times I want to just change your perspective he's more afraid of you than you are him I look down that little serpent thought much to him I know I got running he's cold-blooded cold-blooded animals don't last very long they'll come at you strike you just keep walking eventually run out of energy some of you just keep walking he'll run out of energy you just keep walking the right direction he'll run out of energy because you've got some blood flowing in your veins it's beyond just you being a warm-blooded creature that God created you to be but you've got the blood of the Almighty he's not that big of a deal Jared don't don't be threatened by him I don't want to even come to service him acknowledge Him all I gotta do is get the fire stirred up I'm telling somebody he is scared to death it's really true he's more scared of you than you are of him you can be seated I'm almost done Revelations 9 and 1 says in the fifth angel sounded and I saw a star fall from Heaven unto the Earth and to him was given the key to the bottomless pit the keys mentioned twice the first time given to Satan the second time to an unknown Angel Satan is to be given the key to loose his own Army from the place of punishment for his demons in Luke 8 31 and we see here in the in other words this this plague can't happen until God allows it again he's just like a dog on a leash the whole time Revelation is 21 says this and I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand huh an unknown angel of lesser rank I love it commentary said they sent somebody down there it wasn't an archangel or nothing just sitting down there to take care of it huh I'm telling you hating a big deal he just sent some lesser Angel down there and him call his name huh it's not like oh this is a big deal oh they're they're talking about us huh they're saying no he just sent Lester Angel down there go take care of that huh you take take it to take it on down there and deal with he can he can only do what he's allowed to do and we see that this this word key keeps popping up when it talks about in fact I I got to study and I found this really interesting really really interesting fact that the word key is mentioned multiple times in the old and the New Testament and and I I really think that we could we could grasp something here in in the old the old testament which would be the the Hebrew the Hebrew word is translated key comes from a root word which means to open loose or free it's called haptia but in the Greek which is chaos the Greek word and for key comes from a root word which means to shut to obstruct to lock up so in the Old Testament the word key every time it's used is about loosening but then in the New Testament the word the the main word that's used over and over and over again is just about locking up closing up that's why ultimately when Jesus comes to fulfill the law and Jesus in The Book of Matthew says unto him Thou Art Peter and Upon This Rock I will build my church and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail against it and I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven and whatsoever Thou shalt bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever Thou shalt loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven I don't know about you but it sounds like we have way more Authority than he does we've got access to the Old Testament and the New Testament we've got access to loose and to bind we've got multiple keys on the ring we've got the ability to say no we're not going to do that today Old Devil I'm going to go ahead and do like the old rhyme says The Devil Is A sly old Fox and that's what we grew up on it's not if you can catch him you can catch him we make him out to be this big bad oh all you gotta do is just say in the name of Jesus I got a key for that there's some of you woke up this morning you need to bind some things huh or somebody that woke up today and you need to lose some things and I hope you could see this he says I've given you I've given this church I've given the people of God I've given the people of the name some keys and it's time that we start using it and the devil shouldn't be able to run rampant and walk up and down in and out of your home and in and out of bedrooms and walk up and down the aisle and get in and out of your car and just do whatever he wants to do he said you can reach back into what I did for Abraham and Isaac and Jacob as we sung about it tonight and you can lose some things but he said also I give you the ability to bind him up tie him up go down there with a chain he said just like I gave you the resurrection power I give you the ability to put him on a leash just like I can because the spirit of God is inside of you he's scared of you stand to your feet tonight he's fearful of you he is fearful of you I feel very strongly to close this way uh give me give me 5 or 6 y'all boys come up here real quick five or six y'all girls come up here don't matter come on College High School whoever of Pastor David when when he went down to fight Goliath everybody's talking about how big he is they've measured the Joker's head you know he's This Tall but a step I mean he's he just out there just denying God running that mouth hey they've got him sized up I mean like many of us do our problems our situations the world is lost all the different ways you can look at it just seems so massive it seems such like just such a great thing that we have here in front of us to try to accomplish and David goes out and Goliath just keeps talking now you're just a little kid just a young person I'm Goliath you sending a kid out to fight me huh then the most Troublesome part is nobody else is willing to fight which is not the case in this situation it's a multi-generational church we fight from trendsetters all the way down to the age of accountability we got food we got kids getting the Holy Ghost five four that's the point right but he goes into he goes into Saul and sadly Saul says the same thing the enemy's saying these folks been fighting since they were kids you're just a kid they've been fighting since they were kids you're just a little boy and I've been so I've been so stirred the past few weeks to release I don't want you all to think for one moment that I see you the way the enemy sees you I don't want you to think for one second that you can't do it I want you to know that the devil is weak he's chained up he's locked up and you have the power and the authority and the calling and the greatness of God within you to do whatever God calls you to do if you want to kill Goliath go kill Goliath if you want to teach a Bible study go teach a Bible study if you want to call a prayer meeting we're going to call a prayer meeting I I don't want to wanna I don't want to be guilty of holding this generation back just because one generation broke the trust Factor I I don't dare want to allow the enemy to slip in and say oh well this generation Z look at the statistics they're going to hell in a hand basket no I have you come you've come too late to tell me that I've got too many students that are coming to me saying Hey Brother Hammond how can I do this and how can I do that and I want to go fight Goliath I want to go we gotta change our perspective it's time to let them loose it's time to let them fight it's time to let the Same Spirit here's the kicker this is one thing I hope you can get I hope I've convinced you already tonight that the Holy Ghost inside of you and what you have inside of you is greater than the devil and we cannot make him out but to be bigger than he is but here's the thing we got to get the Holy Ghost Inside of these young people is just as great as the one that's inside of the 60 year old and a 45 year old and the 35 year old and I'm here we are going to this year in the name of Jesus the devil and hell is going to feel the fire of Pentecost like never before an Apostolic Christian Academy there's going to be a Revival there's going to be a harvest there is going to be things that happen in Chapel this never happened before miracles signs and wonders are going to follow the fire Pastor if you come I want to turn it over to you in just a second but I want all of our students to come if you could y'all if you'll make your way right down here and I want to pray over you and then I'm going to turn this over to Pastor he's going to administer through the the staff and everyone spread this out kind of get you all around the front if you're going to school if you're going to school we can make it all the way around you I don't have to come over here let's just spread it out there's way too many of y'all come all the way up come all the way up come all the way up come all the way up good Ness you're powerful presence of God can do anything through you you got to grab a hold of it you've got to cling to you you're a lion you're the one on attack you're the one in control you're the one making decisions huh discipline yourself pray call upon the name of Jesus I want you if you would for just a moment if you before we transition if you would receive what the Lord has tried to communicate to you tonight would you lift both your hands and I want to pray over you in the name of Jesus come on lift them high and would you lift your voice and commit your heart to God I pray right now in the name of Jesus Lord over this generation Lord I pray that you would help us to see it the way you see it Lord help us to have eyes as you see Lord ears as you hear I pray that we would walk as you walk and you would use our hands God for what you would have us use them Lord I rebuke any distractions Lord I rebuke anything that would come against this generation that would cause them to fall prey to the lives of the enemy that would cause them to give ear to anything other than the adulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ Lord I pray that you would pour out anointing Lord I pray that you would pour out a calling Lord I pray that you would pour out God what you would have for them foreign receive it right now come on make up your mind make up your mind right now I want to be used of God I want to do great
