if we could all remain standing here today I would like this to quickly turn amen to the book book of Luke Chapter 2 praise God when you're there we'll start with verse 41. when you're there you can shouting man Luke Chapter 2 starting with verse 41 amen it says now when his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover and when he was 12 years old speaking of Jesus they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast and then when they had fulfilled the days as they as they returned the Child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem and Joseph and his mother knew not of it but they supposing to have been in the company when a Day's Journey and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintances and verse 45 says and when they found him not they returned back to Jerusalem seeking him I don't know how someone can lose Jesus amen I lose my keys I lose my phone I lose pretty much about everything you know I thought that when I got married praise God that I was going to find someone's going to help me find everything but it's a miracle that we both made it to church here tonight amen amen and we didn't lose our way on ourselves on the way here amen but they lost Jesus and it says in verse 46 and it came to pass after three days they found in the temple sitting in the midst of the doctors both hearing them and asking them questions and all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers and when they saw him they were amazed and his mother said it to him son why hast thou dealt with us Jesus why have you done this to us Behold thy father and I have sought thee Sorrowing and he said unto them how is that he shot me was she not was she not that I must be about my father's business I'm going to say that one more time he responded he said how is that he stopped me wish ye not that I must be about my father's business and they understood not the same what she speaking to them and he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was subject unto them but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart and Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man amen today very briefly amen with the help of the Holy Ghost I would like to preach to every single one of us in this building lost in the father's business lost in the father's business amen why don't we lift up our hands and put our Bibles down and why don't we lift up a praise and why don't we lift up a petition to the Lord here today and why don't we pray that the Lord will begin to move in this house God I pray God that you would move in this place I pray that you would anoint me God to preach the word of God I pray God that you would go beyond God everything God that was done God by us God as we offered it up to you but I pray God that you would come down and you would Minister to your people I pray God that the Holy Ghost God would have its way I pray God that you would reach into the life of every individual of every situation God of every person God you know God the need before we ask of it God God you are ready God to touch you are ready to heal you are ready to speak God and God today will be careful to give you all the praise all the glory and all the honor and I pray someone right now can put your hands together as you lift up a hand clap in a praise adoration to the Lord hallelujah hallelujah thank you Jesus amen you may be seated amen lost in the father's business this generation that we live in today is a lost desperate generation the Bible lets us know way beforehand that this would be the way it is letting us know that there would be those that would sit in darkness and there would be no light for them to see their path and as I begin to study and begin to do a little bit of research about the world that we live in today for the ham and I did some research and I saw some statistics of Generation Z it says that Generation Z that 73 percent of them report feeling alone either sometimes or always this is higher than any other generation that has ever been reported it's just only 45 percent report excellent or very good mental health it says 91 experience physical emotional symptoms due to depression 55 percent are lacking interest motivation or energy 68 report feeling significant stress about their future if probably could probably shove up all of these statistics when speaking about the generation that we live in today I think it would be fair to say that this generation and this world is lost we live in a world here today that is searching for answers does not know how to find their purpose they do lack motivation they are looking for ways to find their future that seems so uncertain and when I read all of these statistics I see that they are depressed I see that they are lost I see that they lack motivation I see that they lack Direction it is obvious and I think it would be obvious for me to say that they are obviously lost but my question here today for the church is what is the answer for Generation that is depressed and what is the answer for a world that is lost what is the answer for a church that needs to be ministering in the age that we live in here today that we find ourselves I've just come here to remind the church that the answer has been the same as it has been throughout all of the ages we need to give this generation Jesus they might be depressed but the answer is still Jesus they might be lost but the answer is still Jesus they might be afraid of their tomorrow Jesus drug addicted Jesus alcohol addicted Jesus addicted to pornography Jesus the present suicidal Jesus I believe that many times we find ourselves trying to over complicate the things that we need to hand to this world that is lost that is seeking Direction but the answer has always stayed the same the answer is Jesus amen someone clap your hands if you know that is true here today Hallelujah I read in Psalm 16 11 speaking to a world that is looking for direction that is depressed a world that is lacking security of their future I want to remind here the church today in Maryville that the answer that we are giving this world is ever stayed the same it says in psalm 16 11 it says There Will thou show me the path of life that is Direction it says in thy presence there is fullness of joy that is anti-depression it says at thy right hand there are Pleasures forevermore that is security for the future and if you might be here today and you'll find yourself lost can I tell you that the answers it will be found in the word of God you might be here today and you might find yourself depressed can I tell you that the answer is found in the word of God you may not know what your tomorrow might hold but can I tell you that the answer will always be found in the word of God and I believe that in today's age that the church must be two things we must be sensitive and we also must keep our purpose right in front of us because there is a world that is coming that is lost looking for Direction they are depressed they are looking for joy and we must hand them the GPS of life we must hand them the word of God the word of God is our Compass the word of God is our map the word of God is our ability for us to navigate the world that we live in today it ain't ever gonna change the Bible lets us know how for flower fadeth and grasp withereth but the word of the Lord shall remain forever I told the church in Sevierville and I'm going to remind us here today that we ought to plant ourselves on things that are never gonna change that are never gonna move in a world today where there are new inventions in a world today where there are constant different things that are coming about Hallelujah I'm happy to know her that I have built my house on a rock that is not going to be moved the storms of life it will not be moved by the situations by the political Atmosphere by the sense of sense the sensation of different things going on in this world but the answer is always to base our lives on the word of God hallelujah amen I believe that there has ever been a time for the church to be sensitive I believe today is that time I believe if there has ever been a time for us to be used in the gift of discernment and I believe today is that time I believe that the church number one's purpose amen is to seek and to say that which is lost I believe that we must be able Amen to walk into any atmosphere and to keep our purpose in front of us it lets us know in Matthew 6 3 but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you come on we need to be a church that is able to keep our purpose at the Forefront because there are people that walk in without purpose and there are people that walk in with outfit ability to feel what we feel and as a church as the body of Christ we must keep our purpose in front of us so when someone comes in looking for direction we understand that we're handing out the road maps for life we understand that we say you know what you came in depressed you came in drug addicted you came at the point of losing your marriage let me hand you a Bible study that will point you to the Plan of Salvation because that is our purpose you might have come here losing your mind at a point where you feel like you're gonna be locked up in a jail cell let us be a church that's got our purpose right in front of us that we can walk with such a purpose that every everybody that sees us knows what we're about everybody in our community understands that's the church that baptizes in Jesus name that is filled with the spirit because they walk with purpose wherever they are in their world they are walking with a purpose that lets me know I am there to seek and I am there to save that which is lost let us never be a people that forgets our purpose Hallelujah our purpose and souls salvation Liberty to captives and restoration amen I was planning him in I was sharing this story a little bit later amen after after the message but I really do feel like sharing it now there is a young man in our church by the name of Manuel who recently just had his 18th birthday he's been coming to our church probably from now almost close to three months amen and when Manuel walked into the church people probably wouldn't know it but he was under a circumstance in a situation probably many people wouldn't be able to guess when they looked at him Manuel walked into the church with one of his neighbors and his neighbor brought him to the house of God he had never been in the church his neighbor had never been in the church either but Manuel he's 18 years old but he since the age of 14 or 15 that he told me has smoked two packs of cigarettes every single day he's told me that he has tried every single drug that he's could have got his hands on he told me that he did not know who his father was his mother is barely in the picture but in all of this situation he's there living with his grandparents but he told me that his grandparents were witches and the god parents that he that he had were also practicing Santa Muerte which is a form a different type of Witchcraft of worshiping the holy dad Manuel told me he said I I did not feel like I had much aspiration for life I didn't feel like I had much reason for me to live under the circumstances but his grandparents kicked him out of his house they kicked him out because of whatever the way that he was living and being rebellious and just the nature of of of a child in that circumstance and it says that his neighbor saw him being kicked out and his neighbor reached out to him felt bad and asked him to live inside of their house with this with her family because she knew Manuel and Manuel didn't know and nobody knew but this lady that brought him into the church he was a backslid and Apostolic she had been walked away she'd walked away from the things of God for a very very long time she was living a life that was completely contrary to the scripture she was living alive it seemed very very very far away from the way that she had been taught in in her in her life but she was in a Crossroads in her life and that week she let us know that she had planned to take her life she had already found out the method and the way for her to be able to to execute what she wanted to do but for some reason she walked she won she went on the website and she found our church page on the internet and she found her Direction and she decided to give church just one more time I'm talking to us why we need to be a church marked with purpose she walked inside of that house nobody knew who she was she did not look like she's ever been to a church here before she did not she looked like a brand new visitor and she walked in Manuel was right beside her we did not know them at all but during the message and during the service the spirit of God began to move in in such a powerful way and she was there as she felt compelled to come down to that Altar and as she made her steps down to that altar she walked down at Altar and she lifted up her hands as tears began to fall down her face and God began to let the work of restoration begin to move down in her heart just one more time and as she began to repent and as she began to pray the spirit of God came down on her once again and filled her mortal body up with the spirit of Christ and she began to speak with the evidence of another tongue but you know what's so powerful after that she found her purpose after she walked in she found her life changed she walked into realizing that I must realign myself with purpose but she brought Manuel with her I didn't know Manuel's situation and Will was 17 years old amen at the time and he was probably probably six foot two again I don't know why I always get taller people they meant to teach Bible studies to me down there in Mexico I don't know if I shoot the other testimony with you all last time amen but I was teaching him a Bible study after he had come and he began to tell me about his story all the things that I shared with you that he's been tried every type of drug smoked two packs of cigarettes every single day it would seem that someone that has lived that type of a life a man would be an individual that doesn't have the ability to to be able to to think think about think deeply about a lot of things or be able to to have deep conversation or grab heavy things theological things regarding things regarding the word of God but as I begin to sit with him in that coffee shop and I begin to talk to Manuel and after he told me a story about his grandparents being witches his godparents being involved in witchcraft him not throwing his father his situation with his mother as I begin to open the word of God and I begin to let him know I know you feel like he'll be a nobody I know like you feel like there is nothing for you in this world he told me I will always be one of those that is always just trying to make it through life I will never be blessed I will never be the one that is calling the shots but I'm always gonna be hanging low I will never be able to be anything in life but as I begin to share with him the word of God that I told him that when you are baptized in Christ that old things are passed away and new things they gotta come you are a new creature in Christ and as I begin to let him know Manuela begin to become emotional and he's saying you're telling me that my sins will be forgiven you're telling me that I will be a new man you're telling me that I won't be the same old man well that I am and he looked at me and he said I you mean I'm going to get the Seal of the name of Jesus Christ in my life so I can get into heaven and I will stunned and I said and I I try to help other people and teach other people and they're not throwing that word seal at me amen they're saying man I'll get washed away and I'll be forgiven but he said I need to be sealed with the name of Jesus Christ because as we begin to start it started studying the word of God there was something that began to light up in his head and as he began to study the word of God we have him enrolled in our Bible Institute we baptized him in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins he's now going to Bible College trying to learn to be a preacher of the word of God one person that thought there was no purpose I thought he would be nobody he felt lost he felt depressed he did not know there was a way for him but he encountered the word of God that let Kim know I got direction for you I'll put you on the path of life I will preserve you in the fullness of joy because the word of God lets us know at the right hand of the Lord there is fullness of Joy Hallelujah can I tell us here today that there are hundreds and thousands of men whales in this city that are lost looking for direction looking for purpose they are depressed they don't know where to go but there are individuals filled with the spirit of Christ that have been sent as ambassadors from a Heavenly Kingdom to go and make disciples because can I tell us I believe we'd be surprised how many preachers were driving by on the expressway I think we'd be surprised how many Sunday school teachers we pass by on Starbucks I think we'd be surprised how many new song leaders we Best Buy every single day Hallelujah there's another sister in our church and I guess I'm just gonna tell amen the stories praise God Amen I'm sorry scream team amen amen hallelujah there's another sister in our church amen who I've told this story before and my dad called me and told me don't say the name amen so here I am if my dad's watching I'm not saying the name Amen to the circumstances of the situation but there is a lady in our church a sweet sweet lady who when we had got there was not currently attending our church amen but after time she began to come to the house of God and she was actually a person that was coming to church when my grandfather was pastoring the work amen and she was there she she lost her way from the things of God and she backslided she revolved and she fell back into a deep deep lifestyle of filled with sand as she began to follow this road and this pathway losing her way in this world she began to get involved with things she reckoned that she probably never would have got involved with she got involved with cartels and drugs and drug dealing and all of these different types of things and by the end of the situation this lady had got involved with being a mule and a drug printer for the cartel in our city amen she would come into church and I remember her sometimes coming and and she would definitely look lost being a backslider being in the house of God and not lifting up her hands not knowing what to do not knowing in which way uh to to love the Lord or to express herself in worship because she was locked up and she became lost in a life of Santa where it seems like she couldn't even find her way out but one day she came to the church and she came up to my father and she said pastor Rodriguez Pastor Rodriguez she was desperate she was she came and she she was like humanly just needing to speak with him and she he said yes yes what can I help you with and she said I need you to pray for me Pastor I need you to pray for me she said I've got involved with some things that I never thought that I was going to get involved with but but now it's common it's taking a turn that I never thought it was going to take see what had happened was is she was selling drugs and apparently she had crossed some sort of cartel in our city and the way that the cartel lets somebody know that they are on their hit list and they are marked to be assassinated as they will go ahead and they will write their names on a bed sheet they'll write their names on a bed sheet and they'll throw them over the bridge in our city it'll snap a picture and they'll remove the bed sheet and they'll post it on Facebook she woke up she she had come and she woke up and she had saw on Facebook that her name was on the bed sheet she came desperate and she said pastor Pastor I need you to pray for me pastor Pastor I need you to help me fast Pastor I I don't know what I'm going to do because she knew better than anybody else that nobody escapes the cartel in those situations so she had come we talked to her and she said you got to get your life right you gotta you got to give yourself to the things of God you have to allow the Lord to begin to work and to begin to put you on the path of Salvation so that you could walk and do the things that God has called you to do and she came to church she sincerely had a conversion she came and she prayed through to the Holy Ghost and she began to do the things that were right she began to pray she began to fast she converted her old ways of Sienna into the new ways that Jesus was calling and bidding her to walk into uh and nobody knew the situation we kept it private amen and we began to pray for her and fast with her and she had let us know that one day that we had actually found out I'm sorry for somebody else that she had got picked up by the federalis the the police in our in our in our in our city and they had rounded her up and they had taken her to the courthouse and they took her there to the courthouse and they were going to try her for the situation and there was either two things amen there were we at first I realized I thought I said I got a little bit excited and I said well praise God the cartel's not going to find her and kill her and my dad let me know he said well the jails are are not any better but because the cartels run to jail and they'll find her in there and reality is she's in a rock and a hard place and there probably is not much hope we began to pray we began to fast and I'm talking about purpose I'm talking about the purpose of the church as we begin to pray and as we begin to fast for her we got a call from Sister Blanca and she said brother Rodriguez I want to let you know that every single other person he that didn't get picked up by the cartel but but that didn't get picked up by the police was found by the cartel and now every other person that there was there put on trial got sentenced to the jail but she said I was the only one as the judge looked at me and said you can go and you're Scots free you don't have to worry about going to the jail cell you don't have to be worried about getting caught up in that but she was the only one praise God that walked away free untouched unscathed I'm happy to let you know this last Thursday she was singing in the choir leading worship as the anointing of God began to fall because our purpose is not just for us to stand it's just so people can see us but it's the seek and to save that which is lost hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh praise the Lord amen amen the purpose of the church the purpose of the church amen when I begin to think about all the different stories going on back home and I think about all the testimonies of what God has done and what God continues to do I can't help but we get a little bit emotional and I can't help but have my heart and my spirit be grieved as I ask myself the question am I allowing myself to reach every single opportunities and reach every single person that we ought to reach but I believe that the only way that someone can reach that the only way that someone can achieve that is if someone can keep their purpose in front of them but someone could also be sensitive to the moving of the Holy Ghost that when the spirit of God nudges them when the spirit of God moves on them that they have the ability to hear and feel his spirit that when God comes and Hebrew comes to just mess up your agenda a little bit for your coffee run on the way to work will you be sensitive enough to hear and to see potentially another Manuel sitting on the side of the road will be be sensitive enough praise God to be able to hear the moving and the voices of the groaning of the spirit of God to for us to reach for us to touch for us to be sold out to the kingdom of God so that we can find those that God is wanting to restore so that God can feel with this spirit that God can put them in the kingdom of God because the church that needs to be moving on the mission of God I believe a church that is not reaching a church that is not saving a church that is not teaching Bible studies is a church that has lost his purpose but I thank God that as they put the report this Sunday morning that there were more than 14 Bible studies being taught in this week it's because there is a church that has its purpose in front of him that we will not allow ourselves to be unbothered with the routine of life but we are interested in reaching it doesn't matter if it costs me maybe one of my lunches I'm gonna teach a Bible study it doesn't matter if maybe it takes my 15-minute breakout word I'm gonna pray for the co-worker because I want to get lost in the ways of God I want to become lost in the father's business Hallelujah I believe Jesus amen was the only man that has ever walked this Earth that has had the perfect ability to couple purpose and sensitivity in such a powerful way I believe Jesus from his very first moment was marked with purpose from his birth in a Manger to his glorious Triumph at the cross he walked with one purpose in mind in Luke 4 18 it says the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor Jesus walked with such a purpose that he knew that the reason that I am here on this Earth is only for one a reason Hallelujah it was even so that when the very first miracle was ever done the miracle of the wine at the wedding that when his mother called for Jesus to do a miracle she told his mother I can't perform this miracle because my hour has not yet come Jesus was always thinking about the hour Jesus was always thinking about his moment Jesus was always thinking about his mission I don't believe that there ever was a day that moved by Jesus's life that he was not thinking about the cross when he would come and he would take the tease from Death hell in the grave and begin to restore Humanity to Divinity I believe Jesus smart with such a passion I believe he my wife was such a purpose that nobody could pull him out nobody can strike him it was there in the wilderness praise God when Satan came offering him the world offering him the cities of the world offering him all of these things that Jesus rebuked Satan and he said you will not remove me from my mission you will not remove me from my purpose I have come to see it and to save that which is lost he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor to bring Liberty to the captives to mend the Brokenhearted because he knew his mission was to save the lost world that he was put in and can I tell us here today that we must be the very ones that walk with the same purpose that walk with the same motive now everything that we do is guided in his Mark and mediated with the mission that God has called us when you got saved filled with the Holy Ghost baptized in Jesus name he put a mission in your hands and he said go to work he put a mission in your heart and he said go to work it is that to save it is that to reach it is that to uplift it is that to heal Hallelujah hey man I thank the Lord that this Mission it just doesn't just work here at home but it goes all Beyond and it's reaching and it's saving people Beyond in a foreign border Hallelujah it's reaching those that have no background of the word of God have no background of the things of God but God is still reaching down and God is still making converts and making Christians out of individuals Hallelujah that know nothing about the things of God I believe amen that this church we are part of is the bodies individuals to be marked with such a purpose and such a passion this this part this purpose that Jesus walked with to see every single day I believe that he walked with that passion and that purpose that even at 12 years old Jesus had his purpose in front of him even at 12 years old Jesus was looking is waiting for the moment to do the will of the father I believe amen as we begin to see that his mother come and they they left him in the festivities they were there worshiping and sacrificing and they were doing all of these things saying man that after they had finished their festivities the word of God lets us know that they left and they they didn't take care to see if Jesus was with them probably they were in the big Caravan and they assumed as the word of God lets us know that they're with their family members and they and they were they were with friends but it seems that as they were there on the journey the first day they probably were there talking to people they didn't notice it finally decided to say you know what where's Jesus where it was Jesus he looks at Joseph I said Joseph I see Jesus you know I I thought I thought he was with his cousins I thought he was with John why don't you go see if he's in that other Caravan and they went looking for him they said Jesus hey have you seen Jesus how and they said no I thought Jesus was with you why don't you go check with with Martha over there they went to the next Caravan and they said hey have you seen Jesus have you seen him and they see the face of that that person looking back at them and it Dawns them that they have lost Jesus they frantically go back to Jerusalem looking for Jesus trying to find in the scripture lets us know that it took to the third day three days trying to search for Jesus Hallelujah and they couldn't find him I believe Joseph and Mary were caught up in the roles of being the mothers and the fathers the parents of Jesus in the flesh that they they were saying where is he at we've lost him I don't know where he's at we got to look and they search and they scoured the city and the scripture lets us know that they went from place to place to place to place and they found him not to finally they walked into the temple Hallelujah they found him in the temple 12 year old Jesus God manifested In the Flesh as he is sitting there teaching and explaining the scriptures they're reasoning with the doctors and their reasoning with the individuals there and Joseph and Mary walk up as he is there teaching a Bible study to the Pharisees praise God and they say Jesus where have you been Jesus you had us worried sick Jesus we thought we lost you I'm talking about being marked with such a purpose with such a passion God would put ever before us the call that he has put on us I pray that we would never ever lose the passion that God would put in us for the lost I pray that God would burn it in my heart and that God would burn it in my eyes that I could not live my life without doing what the Lord has asked me to do I pray that God would raise up young people and God would raise up individuals in the age and the hour that we live today that cannot live a life of normality without them walking out and fulfilling the tasks that God put on their life oh I just feel such a call in an unchain to God to raise up an individual that maybe you will be bothered by things maybe the world would tell you that this is things that you don't have to do but you understand that it is necessary because you know the will of God for your life you know the means of the calling that God has put before you so those things are are tedious for you to do and the Bible lets us know Jesus God manifested In the Flesh one seeing the cross from the very moment where he was walking out when she comes she interrupts the conversation he has he looks at her and he says lost I'm not lost how could you say I am lost he said how is that he sought me wish you not that I must be about my father's business and the Bible lets us know that she said it they did not understand what he was saying to them when he was letting them know is saying how could you say you don't know where I am when I am here fulfilling what has been prophesied about Hallelujah how could you say you don't know what I am doing you didn't know where to find me how Jesus was looking at Joseph and Mary and said you should have came here from the very beginning because I can't be lost doing the things that the father has asked me to do but it was Through The Eyes of their Parenthood that they said Jesus was lost they were caught up with the reality of the carnal physical means but Jesus was saying uh can't you see through the eyes of the spirit just for a moment to see that I am doing what God has asked me to do I am not lost I am not doing random things I'm not a 12 year old roaming around in a grocery store Hallelujah but I am fulfilling the things that have been prophesied about and can I tell us here today I believe there is such a wait in this house that God wants to put the burden of passion and the burden of purpose on every individual ritual in this house that would transformed by every person that when they want to work they want underneath the weight of the burden that God has placed on them when they go and they do their errands you walk underneath the weight of the burden of the ministry God has placed on your life when you can't walk and buy in a park and not see an individual crying out and not let the crippling weight of the bird of the prayer for you to come and for you to reach them because I believe that when one watch with the purpose and a passion that God will release such a miraculous move of God there will be Revival that will come that will shake your family when you can't be moved by the things that God has placed on your life when you allow yourself to be sensitive to the moving of God's spirit hallelujah amen she said he was lost but Jesus was not lost they probably look hey man I hate to use amen a personal example but it's probably not me it's my wife amen so I guess I could do that I get over one flesh amen so I I can't help to think and talking about and doing the things of God and the will of God Amen we do things the world they they we look at what we do here we come to church and it seems like we have events here almost every single day at church and people your bosses your people they don't understand it they don't comprehend it they say why are you going back to church weren't you just there on Sunday has anyone ever heard that didn't you go to midweek praise God but not only do you go to church three times a week you help at Sevierville amen amen and then you're there on your small group and then you're involved in ACA and then then you're volunteering time for choir and you're in the media team when you find an Apostolic that is involved with the church this world class that is involved in all these things people when they find out our schedule they say man those people are crazy they got them coming to church every single day praise God dorms in the back of the church where people just have Apartments they live there because they're there from the morning to the night man they 've been locked up amen it's voluntary service in the world looks at us and says oh you've lost your mind you're crazy what are you doing but we look at those individuals and we say no no no no you need to understand I have not lost my mind but the reason that I am doing what I am doing is because I have found my mind you say I'm out of my right mind but no no no the reason I am dedicated and the reason I'm at severe Villa and the reason I'm volunteering out and I'm in media and I'm on the music team and I'm teaching Bible studies and I'm signing up for small groups it's not because I've lost my mind praise God it's because my God I found my mind you don't know the mess that I was here now you're the world will look at the church and they say they're lost they're crazy but you got to be able to see it in the spirit let us never ever forget when we look at our Ministries that we see it through the eyes of the father we see it through the eyes of the Lord God Almighty he does not see us just giving things up he sees us investing he sees us giving things to the kingdom of God yeah y'all lost your minds praise God tell that to an individual that hey man can barely keep their thoughts straight because they were drug addicted tell that to a family member amen that was at a brink of losing their marriage but they came to the house of God and it was the man of God that helped them when they were fiction to lose everything you you tell that Elder Saint woman of God that Bible study is not important when it was Bible study that kept her family together you you tell that individual that they don't got to show up on Saturdays is too much when someone knocked on their door and invited them to the f.a.c Maryville you tell them that they ought to do it they're gonna look at you and say no I'm about my father's business I'm about doing what God has called me to do uh you can call me lost but I'm losing myself in the will of God I am losing myself in the plans of God you got an option here today will you be lost by the world standards but found by God will you be lost by the reality of society or will you be found by a spiritual reality I will not allow myself to be lost to the Lord but found by the world I want to live my life in a way that the burden is set before me if I got help in coffee shop praise God if I got a help in media praise God if I gotta be here and clean up praise God I ain't lost I'm in the father's business Hallelujah we're talking to my wife I really was thinking about it as I was writing this and praying about this and I said man I feel really bad when you look about it for the reality man I took my wife from this beautiful Church the most beautiful church I've ever seen I mean it's amazing and I'm not to say how people come here and they try to Hype y'all up amen because they want to get on your good side I'm already on their good side praise God it took a minute but we're there right okay okay beautiful place involved in all these things and she had aspirations amen going going after she finished with tuscum University and going into to the University of Tennessee looking to looking to start pre-med and doing all these things a photographer helping here in media doing art being involved starting her business with the hair hair care Calm stuff am I bragging maybe I don't know but doing all of these things and I remember thinking man what do I do man I'm just trying to man I'm just trying to save some people amen and take him to heaven with me amen and I remember when she would share with me some individuals they would say my God baby where are you going to Mexico praise God don't die oh my god do you know this man she said I don't know and when you look at it through the world the lens of reality man that is so crazy amen to be doing those things to be giving and walking away from security from walking all those things and sometimes I I just want to brag on a girl that you all raised amen a girl that you all taught Bible studies to one that you put it in Sunday school that was involved in all these things that is when I look at her working in the things of God and uh she she's there consumed and Sunday school Ministry consumed and sinking and doing all of these things in a different language that she is learning and I look at her and sometimes I I say oh my goodness I feel like I have maybe robbed her away from from a better life of Education or robbed herself from plugging herself into a beautiful church and I remember talking her you walked away from such a great opportunities and she looks at me and she says no I am not losing anything but if anything I have found everything that God has called me to do her because nears understanding Hallelujah that I will not take with the world called successful but give me what the Lord he calls yes can I tell us here today if we can be a church that is consumed with the father's business that God will pour out the blessings from another world like never before come on to somebody believe that here today if I believe that you can consume yourself with the things of God that God will give you the desires of your heart because what the world says you lost it you lost potential you lost ability yeah you lost different things that you could have done you could have been this you could have been that you lost out man you lost it I pray for Becca she lost but I can't help to think about hearing stories of great men and women of God that the world would say they walked away from things the someone that has spent just a couple moments with the presence of God understands I didn't miss out on anything I'm talking about a type of dedication that when someone comes to you and they offer you double the amount you're making at work but they tell you you gotta miss them midweek and you say no I ain't doing that thank you for the offer I appreciate your confidence in me to lead it but I can't do it what do you mean you ain't gonna take it what do you mean you can't do it it's double the salary it's full benefits what do you mean you're walking away you've lost your mind they say they're what's the point of me taking something that I understand I will never mean the value for what God has given my family it is irreplaceable because I walk with such a waiter of the person purpose and the passion that God has put before me every decision will be murdered with winning the lost with being plugged into the kingdom of God every single thing I do will make sure that my babies can be in the house of God everything that I do whether Outside Inside Out it doesn't matter where it is I must make sure it lines up with the purpose of the will of God Hallelujah I'm talking about a burden amen when they say hey where's Jennifer Thursdays at 7 30 is our our game our girls board game night and we played wild extreme Jenga this is literally we do it literally bi-monthly amen we've been going on for four years where's Jennifer praise God she's always here where's she at someone says oh they look down at their watch and they say oh my goodness well yeah it's it's 7 30. don't you know that Jennifer just started teaching Bible study yeah she's not going to beat her anymore because you know she's giving it up because she's she's actually teaching that Bible study every single Thursday I'm talking about I'm talking about a type of passion where say hey you know what we had a meeting where is he at and someone can say oh you know what it's Saturday at 10 30. I promise you I know where he's at he's probably in that church praying he's probably getting ready for outreach because Jesus looked at his mother and his father and he told how could you say that I am lost when I am doing my father's business how can I be lost In My Father's House how can I be lost doing the things that the father has laid before me to do he knows exactly where I am can I tell you that when you put yourself in the business of the father you ain't got to be worried of not being known or seen by the hand in the eyes of God but he's going to know exactly how where you are I find it interesting how that he did not say how I'm not lost I'm in my father's house he said I ain't lost I'm doing the father's business he say I'm doing uh what he has told me to do so he knows the role I'm fulfilling at the time I'm fulfilling her because I am Dependable to carry out the business of my father and I believe that there is a call going forth and there are individuals in this house that are consumed with the weight of the father's business it says God I would rather be called lost by the things of this world I would rather be called insane by my employers I'd rather be called Crazy by my friends I'd rather be called someone that has completely gone Bonkers by everyone around me but I want to be found by you God put in us God a desire God to be found by your spirit to be found by your presence I don't care what they call me I want to be involved in the house of God I don't care what they want to say about me I want to be lost in a place of prayer it doesn't matter what they think it cost me I want to give myself to the kingdom of God someone clap your hands into the Lord Hallelujah I began to think about all the different things that are going on at home amen as I begin to hear testimonies of people like Manuel they remind me they convict me they keep me up for me to remind myself to be so consumed with the passion and the purpose of God because I I can't help to think because I'm there in a different country and I'm speaking personally and it seems that I I meet people like that ain't mad and as I drive by and I'm consumed with going from here to there from different places that I'm so one tracked and I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go I gotta go not allowing myself to be sensitive enough to hear period sensitive enough to cure the voice of God calling me and reaching me to find somebody else that is looking to be a recipient of the things of God none of these things make sense when you look at it through the lens in the Viewpoint of the world but you don't get into the church that we are in here today by the world not calling us crazy we don't get to Worship in the auditorium that we are in here today without people trying to ridicule us we're saying that we have lost our mind we don't get to the place that we are here today like saying it's crazy that you will build a church giving to missions you all have lost your mind but here you stand in a testimonia that what the world calls crazy is what God calls acceptable what the world calls not understandable God cause I get it I see it I comprehend it and I believe that God he is pouring out on his people in this day a burden for somebody to be able to be lost about in the father's business I don't care if I lose myself in prayer I want to be found by God I don't care if I lose myself in worship I want to worship my God I don't care if I lose myself in service to the church I want to make sure that the kingdom of God is moving forward because it is my responsibility as one that is filled with the spirit of God to reach to teach to do the father's business Hallelujah amen man I think amen of the man amen by the name of Fernando who when we first got to church I remember Fernando was was worse than we were not expecting to meet we actually met his girlfriend first and we were there in a home Bible study as we were there in the Bible so we can help me play as I'm coming to a close we were there in a Bible study there were some new conference at our church and they had called a saint man to their home they had called us there to teach Bible study to them and that when we showed up only expecting around three to four people amen and we showed up to that building on the side of the mountain late at night that we found that there was close to 20 people that were sitting there underneath the tarp of that home we were stunned we were surprised and I remember we had our search for truth charts and we were excited just to teach them amen the Bible study it was there that the lady who was there the owner of the home Beyond she she looks at her niece and she says baby why don't you go ahead and why don't you tell pastor what's going on tell them what you're going through so all of a sudden this this lady began to cry she began to weep and she began to say I'm tired of living the way that I've been living I'm tired I don't want I don't I don't want to live this way anymore I don't want to do this anymore I'm tired I want to change and she began to repeat how much she wanted to change how much she wanted to be different amen and we looked at her and she was obviously overwhelmed with the weight of her emotions as we were there to teach a Bible study we were there supposed to teach you the whole thing amen but we looked at her as we began to speak with her we began to talk with her we said you know what we'll pray for you right now they said right now we're about to teach a Bible study we said no right now we're going to pray for you right now begin to pray for this this woman that was there this this lady that was that was crying out looking for change let's begin to pray for her that it was obvious to us that this woman was possessed with many devils she fell down to the ground as we began to pray and pray and pray for God to begin to do a work and for God to deliver her and I'll spare us all the details amen but after praying and praying and as God delivered her from many many spirits that she had that it was there that as we begin to pray with her after God had delivered her from all of the spirits that she had we looked at her and we said ma'am it is I believe it's not the will of God that we leave this house without you being filled with the spirit of Christ I told her I said because the Bible lets us know that if the evil spirit leave this home and they come back and they see it vacant they're going to go back and search for seven more Spirits evil and more worse than itself and they will seek to inhabit your home you need to be filled with the Holy Ghost now remember that when we told her that she lifted up her hands and we pray for her it was there inside after God delivered her we were there for for a long time praying that God would do a work in her life that God filled her with the baptism of the Holy Ghost speaking other tongues on the side of that mountain as God began to do the miraculous work in her life amen but the beautiful part of that is not only did it stop but this lady that was there but she had a 13 year old daughter that was there and not only did she receive the Holy Ghost the mother and we baptized the mother but that 13 year old daughter was the era she was filled with the Holy Ghost too and we baptized her in the name of Jesus as well but not only was that but her nine-year-old daughter was in that place as well but she got filled with the Holy Ghost and we baptized her in the name of Jesus as well because the purpose of the kingdom of God was there that someone should be sensitive to begin to reach and begin to teach all the people that were there in that building amen we could all stand here today but I love this story so much because not only did God feel the mother with the Holy Ghost and there was baptizing in the oldest daughter and the youngest daughter she had a boyfriend by the name of Fernando her husband we didn't know it at the time but Fernando was actually a nephew of the drug lord of our state amen it was through many Bible studies and reaching out amen and talking with him and I remember I would take him a little Nissan Frontier little truck and then we'd pull him around Amen to different places I would teach him Bible studies remember my mother would look at me and she said have you lost your mind you're literally riding around in this little Nissan truck amen the door doesn't work that you have to open up to get out so I had to go in and pop in the thing let him in I was completely stuck if I wanted to if he was going to kill me he could have killed me amen there was no way I could have got out and I told my mother I said Mom I said he needs the Lord he needs Jesus I remember amen as we began to work and I teach for Bible studies to Fernando and I remember one of the services that Fernando was there inside of the church house and after God and moving such a powerful way that God moved and did all the things that he had did everyone went down there to eat but Fernando stayed up on the front in the sanctuary praying I walked up to Fernando and I said Fernando what is stopping you from getting baptized in the name of Jesus he said man he said I'll be honest with you the what my life of sin is too heavy is too deep I said I I have killed multiple people it was news to me and I said oh my goodness I've been riding around with this guy it's a murderer I praise God and I said Fernando that doesn't matter I said when you're baptized in the name of Jesus he washes away all your sins he said I I know I know I know but but you need to know how much things that I've done I've crossed all these drugs over the Border I've heard all these people and I and I and I've done this and I've done that and I've he began to go down I say Fernando but you have to understand and know her that the forgiveness and the grace of God is sufficient for you that the mercy of God will help you that it will pick you up it will turn you around Fernando looked at me said no no no I've done this I've done that and we went back and forth back and forth until finally I looked at Fernando and I and I yelled at him and I said Fernando Fernando looked at me said what you know all this you know as I look back I'm like I can't believe I yell to this guy I can't live real with this guy but I yelled at this drug at this cartel nephew of the drug lord of our state and I said Fernando what do you believe what I'm telling you so what are you telling me I said that when you are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ that he washes away all of your sins said I do I said do you remember the scripture that I shared with you that you are made a new creature that all things are passed away he said oh yeah yeah I I do I said really Fernando you really believe that he said yeah yeah I do I said Fernando then what's stopping you from getting baptized in the name of Jesus Christ freno looks at me and said well nothing nothing's stopping me I said really he said now nothing he said I I think something is stopping he said no nobody can stop me I said no I don't believe you Fernando he said yeah I said yourself is stopping you and I say I said Fernando do you really believe it he said I do so I turned around I said okay you believe it and I started walking I started walking away to the to at that time we had a little horse watering trough where he baptized people Fernando I turned around as I turned the corner Fernando was walking right behind me and as he got him tired of that baptismal tank it was filled up already with water thank the Lord and it was there that as everyone was eating downstairs and they were fellowshipping uh that we baptized Fernando in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins and Fernando was made a new creature why because there is a church that is there an Ensenada that has been supported by this church that has purpose to get lost in the father's business that you can allow yourself to give people to the work of God young ladies and I believe future young men and more young ladies to go be missionaries into this world because we are not consumed with ourselves but we say go do the father's business I don't care what it cost me uh but I am consumed with doing the will of God and doing the will of the father if it cost me a lunch so I could go to the church and pray soap be it up but I want to be consumed by the father's business if I gotta give up a day to be one of those that teach the Bible studies so be it but I want to be consumed father's business I wonder if right now if we could all raise our hands amen we can allow the spirit to draw us to bid us I believe that there is a powerful move of God's spirit that is going to sweep from side to side of this building Hallelujah I believe the Lord has got a calling on individuals in this house today colleagues that maybe you have neglected colleagues that maybe you have forgotten about a Ministry that God is birthed in you years ago but I believe that there is a call for someone to do the father's business I believe that God has come to draw somebody to a place where they get lost in the things of God Pastor Carpenter whatever you need me to do I want to get lost in the father's business Buster Hammond Buster Eric said put me where you need me but I want to be lost in the father's business come on right here I believe we're in a moment of the spirit of God oh Hallelujah I understand that this was not a deep message but I believe I believe oh I believe I believe that God has individuals in this house that God is trying for them to do the will of God because God has something for you to do that is necessary necessary necessary in this church oh God oh come on that's it I believe he's here oh come on that's it if you feel the spirit of God right now oh come on I believe someone's even laying something down at this altar here today uh to say God I will be lost in your business I don't care what the world calls me uh but I devote myself to the things of God I devote myself to your kingdom hallelujah hallelujah oh come on that I believe it it's right here oh come on that's it in the name of Jesus oh come on that why is there somebody right now Hallelujah come on be led to the spirit of God if God is calling you come on lift up your hands cry out loud Hallelujah do what the spirit bids you to do come on but be sensitive to the spirit of God God Hallelujah right now as they get ready to sing this song come on I want people to be put themselves in position to do the will of the father come on God In The Name of Jesus Christ I pray God that you God release a burden God on your people God here today I pray God that you would find young people in this congregation God that are looking God to do something for the kingdom of God the god that you would put in them the purpose right in front of their eyes I pray that God in their hands you would put God the ministry God that you have called them to do God I pray God that you will let them get lost in service to the kingdom of God let them get lost in the name of Jesus God raise up Soul winners that will be radical God to reach that will be reaching every moment every day every hour yeah yeah yeah yes Jesus
