Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

Not One Stone Upon Another

  • The disciples showed him the temple's buildings — stones Josephus describes as over 70 feet long — and Jesus answered: there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.
  • Over Jerusalem he cried: how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not; behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
  • He condemned the blind guides' ostentatious religion — whitewashed sepulchres who loved the highest seats — and left a house that had ceased to be a church.

Scriptures: Matthew 24:1-4; Luke 21:5-6; Matthew 23:37-39

My House Shall Be Called the House of Prayer

  • At Passover he made a scourge of small cords, drove out the sellers and money changers, and said, Make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
  • In Matthew's telling he cast out all that sold and bought, declaring, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.
  • Then the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them — the house of God is a house of healing.

Scriptures: John 2:13-16; Matthew 21:12-14

It Is Not the Vessel, but Who Occupies It

  • Air Force One is the president's plane only while the president is aboard: when Nixon resigned at noon over Missouri, the pilot radioed that the plane was no longer Air Force One; put the president in the back seat of a Piper Cub and it becomes Air Force One.
  • On August 24, 1957, he and Sister McCool set up a ragged tent at 123 West Columbia — it was the church, because Jesus was in the tent; where two or three are gathered in his name, he is in the midst.
  • The church moved from tent to lodge hall to 5020 Pleasant Ridge Road: amenities neither make a church nor keep it from being one — Upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Scriptures: Matthew 18:20; Matthew 16:18

Ye Are the Temple of God

  • At Caesarea Philippi Peter confessed, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God — flesh and blood did not reveal it, but the Father in heaven.
  • Paul's new temple is the people themselves: know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you.
  • Instead of dissolving marriages and taking children away like a courthouse, the church mends marriages and raises children in the ways of the Lord — his great-granddaughters at home were already calling up the old songs of the church.

Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 3:16; Matthew 16:13-18

Forgiveness and Healing in the House

  • They brought a woman taken in adultery to trap him; he answered, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her — and to her: Neither do I condemn thee; go, and sin no more. A church without room for the forgiven is not a church.
  • In this place is one greater than the temple: David ate the shewbread in his hunger, the priests profane the temple and are blameless — the hungry must be fed at his table, and the sword that took the giant's head still hangs on the wall.
  • They asked about the withered hand only to accuse him; but he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and with his stripes we are healed — if the Healer is not in the house, it is not the Healer's house.

Scriptures: John 8:1-11; Matthew 12:6; Matthew 12:10; Isaiah 53:5

You Are the Church

  • The prodigal's father could not keep him from leaving, but he kept the home place ready: the same church must be waiting when the children come home hungry and ragged.
  • Saul of Tarsus, the chief of sinners, was knocked down on the Damascus road and told to arise and be baptized and wash away his sins — the church is here to restore the lost, the sick, the poor, and the worst of sinners.
  • He closes with the appeal: anything can happen when Jesus is in the house — say it: I am the church.

of all to the head of this great church of which you and I are privileged to be members and that's the Lord Jesus Christ and then I want to give honor to the leadership of First Apostolic Church of Knoxville Tennessee uh what a great group of leaders we have I got to step in just a moment for some of the last minute um words to the praise singers and heard Pastor giving them the charge about how important it is to be in the house of God and to be in the spirit and I was so blessed and I stepped around the corner after I put my microphone on and there was another group of choir members being admonished also so I want you to know that you're not just in a and another gathering you're in a gathering of dedicated Godly men and women and young people and you are to I know you do praise the Lord for them and you honor them also a pastor is asking me to preach tonight and to be very honest with you I was standing back there besides sister McCool she is indeed my better half she's not my half she's my better half and I often say that I'm like a half a pair of scissors without her I'm very little good without her she's been by my side for a soon we'll be 67 years and I thank the Lord for her but I was standing there and God was dealing with my heart about this message and I asked God I said God if you want this message preached in our church have Pastor McCoo to ask me to preach and as I was standing there Pastor McCool stepped over to my side and said dad will you preach the message that you preached in Cleveland Well when things like that happen it chokes you up and he and I both began to cry when you feel that you have been ministered to by the Lord himself and I I thank the Lord for a man of God such as Pastor Mark McCool and sister Jamie McCool who are so dedicated tonight I pray that you will anoint the lips of clay with the spirit of God give what you would have spoken for this service tonight and may we respond and Obey you and may we be inspired to do a greater work than we've ever done for you in our lives in Jesus name we pray I got up my calculator a while ago and I I put 20 23 and deleted 19 and 48 from it because I was unsure how long I've been preaching out of my calculator is right this summer I will have been preaching 75 years I I had no idea in 1948 as 11 year old boy that I would live that long myself to be preaching for 75 years and what a privilege and joy it has been and I've preached in many churches auditorums large congregations and small and I want you to know there's not a Pulpit I have ever stood in that I have felt more honored than the pulpit right here at First Apostolic Church 5020 Pleasant Ridge Road you are the very tops for God sent me here in 1956 when I was praying and up Sunday school room in Little Rock Arkansas about two o'clock in the morning and I'm glad I responded calling your attention to the word of God the Book of Matthew chapter 24 and I will be using some statistics and some information you uh bear with me and stay with me because it will have a bearing and have a point to this message Matthew 24 1-4 and I'll be reading several verses of scripture and Jesus went out and departed from the temple and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple and Jesus said unto them see ye not all these things verily I say unto you there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be torn thrown down Luke 21 5 and 6. and as some spake of the temple how it was adorned with the goodly stones and Gifts he said as for these things which ye behold the days will come into which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down take notice of the following Matthew 23 37-39 oh Jerusalem Jerusalem thou that killeth the prophets and stone as them which are sent unto thee how oft would I have gathered thy children together even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings and ye would not behold your house is left unto you desolate let me pause a moment since I was raised on a farm I know the meaning of that verse I remember we had chickens and an old mommy hen she would lay a bunch of eggs sometimes they have a starter egg to add a plastic egg if she wasn't laying that put her in the nest and and it would Inspire her to start laying eggs and she would lay several things in that nest and then you dare not approach that Nest you would get flogged you would get picked because she would protect those eggs and after a certain length of time there are little Bitties we called them they would start picking their way out and they would be fluffy little yellow Bitties and when they got big enough she would have them out in the barnyard and out of the yard and they would be all around her and sometimes there would be a chicken hawk a chicken hawk Praise on the little baby chickens and there'd be a chicken hawk that would fly over and when it would the babies the bitters didn't know the difference and they but that mother had a certain sound she would give and those little Bitties would come running to her and she would spread her wings and they would walk under her and she would squat them and they would everyone be hid underneath those wings until the chicken hawk disappeared Jesus said Jerusalem Jerusalem how off would I have gathered you as the mama hand gathers her little bitters but you would not it was Jerusalem Jesus passed over and looked over and literally wept over Jerusalem because they would not respond to his ministry and we're talking about something tonight what makes a church the church now the disciples along with others had taken him into the temple and had showed him all the beauty of the temple Jesus said for I say unto you you shall not see me henceforth when he said Jerusalem Jerusalem how awfully I've gathered you but you would not he said ye shall not see me henceforth till you shall say blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord John 2 13-16 and the Jews Passover was at hand and Jesus went up to Jerusalem and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves and changes of money sitting and when he had made a scourge of small cords he drove them out of the temple and the sheep and The Oxen and poured out out that changes money and overthrew the tables and said unto them that Soul doves take these things hence make not my father's house a house of merchandise Matthew 21 12 and Jesus went into the temple of God and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple and overthrew the tables of the money changers and sets and the seats of them that sold doves and said unto them it is written my house shall be called The House of Prayer but you have made it a den of Thieves and the Blind and the lame came to him in the temple and he healed them now they particularly pointed out the stones of the temple as well as the buildings in the temple Josephus the Jewish historian says there were several Stones which were 45 cubits in length five cubits in height and six cubits in breath that is more than 70 feet long 10 feet wide and eight feet high these stones of such normal size were principally used in the building of the high wall on the east side from the base to the top of the mountain they were also it is said beautifully painted and variegated colors as for the temple Jesus said there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down as for the religious leaders in charge of the temple Jesus called them blind Gods he condemned the ostentatious pretentious pompous conceited flamboyant grandiose dress of the religious leaders Jesus issued a scathing rebuke and condemnation of the Jewish religion of his name he repeatedly called them blind gods whitewashed sepulchers and said they love to set in high seas and love to be called Rabbi they victimized wisdoms widows and the poor and they made a complete shambles of God's plan for his people so Jesus said to his disciples boys I'm out of here this ain't no church this is a den of Thieves all the beautiful Stones you showed me all the beauty that don't make a church this ain't a church he began to kick over their money changers he began to scattered us and took off him and he said this ain't no church this is a beautiful building but it's not the house of God the house of God is more than a beautifully adored built in with fancy stones and beautiful arrays Give the Lord a hand glad praise I was so fascinated with the following facts I found myself referring to in reference to the ostentatious and opulence of the temple in which Jesus found himself I saw a comparison Air Force One Air Force One is a uniquely modified Boeing 747 jet on every flight it must run perfectly it's the personal plane of the president of the United States of America security is so strict that many top-level White House staffers are not allowed inside this specially modified Boeing 747. inside the plane is an excessive array of technology and security to keep the most powerful man in the world safe the security on board is only the beginning of the president's out of the country trips at each stop special measures are taken each airport must be upgraded to be safety specifications armored limousines helicopters are airlifted for additional transport Secret Service Marksman stand at the ready at each engagement even the plane's fuel is tested and secured every stop must be zero fail operation everything must be perfect in the if the trip requires a refueling huge tanker trucks are airlifted with special tested secured fuel for out for Air Force One and will be refueled by special security cleared staff because of its incredible array of amenities from first class food to high-speed internet and video conferencing incredible comfort and top-notch security Air Force One is known as the flying White House the Air Force One team makes sure that the president Pastor passenger number one is not only safe and comfortable but fully able to meet and demands of the office at any altitude Air Force One stands six stories high 231 feet 10 inches long its wingspan is 195 feet and eight inches its speed is 630 miles per hour near supersonic speed it is more powerful than the typical 747 it seats 70. it has a crew of 26. it has a range of 14 hours about 7 800 statute miles it is it has infrared missiles and radar jamming technology along with a host of other top secret aerial defenses electronic countermeasures its amenities including the Executive Suite for the president to fully functioning kitchens with a full-scale electric range and can churn out a hundred meals at a time workstations facts and copy machines broadband internet access satellite video dozens of secure phone lines soundproof able conferencing rooms now in a nationally televised address on the evening of August the 8th 1974 Richard Nixon announced he would resign the office of President effective at noon Eastern Time on Friday August the 9th 1974 Marine One a helicopter took him from the White House to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and Andrew's base he poured he boarded Air Force One to El Toro Marine Corps Air Station in California and then to his home in San Clemente listen in mid-range in mid-flight promptly at noon August the 9th 1974 over the state of Missouri Air Force One's Commander pilot radioed the control tower that this plane is no longer Air Force One but Boeing 28 000 for the president of the United States is no longer aboard the plane therefore this plan is no longer Air Force One with all the amenities safeguards luxuries presidential staff Air Force One was no longer Air Force One because the man of board had ceased to be president of the United States prior to the beginning of World War II the Piper Aircraft Company offered the legendary j3 cub in three versions including the attractive Cub Sport with wheel fairings Piper sold the J-3 Cub Sport for 1 270 dollars in 1938 early production Cubs had a nine gallon fuel tank and a 40 horsepower engine in terms of pilot Comfort the j3 sported a large upholstered front seat with a wider upholstered seat behind it the instrument panel also was upgraded to include a magnetic compass a airspeed indicator in addition to a tachometer and engine instrumentation as for color the basic paint scheme was bright yellow overall with a black trim stripe along with a fuselage at a fuselage and a famous Cub logo on the vertical stabilizer there are a few of these legendary planes still in existence today and if the president of the United States chose to fly in the back seat of one of these relics it would become Air Force One it is not the vessel but he who occupies the vessel which makes it if Jesus is not in the house it's not a church if Jesus is not in the church it don't make a church oh I don't care what luxuries we may have I don't care what amenities we may have I want you to know Air Force One is not Air Force One if the man's not in if Jesus is not here it's not a church everybody on August the 24th 1957 system cool and I set up a tent at 123 West Columbia it was an old ragged tent it had been used before it was in ragged shape but when we set that tent up and had our first service on August the 24th 1950s it was the church it didn't have a fancy building it didn't have Stones it didn't have a beautiful pie set it had no it had no amenities but what made the church is Jesus was in that tent Matthew 18 20. Jesus said for where there are two or three gathered together in my name there am I in the midst of them it is not the same glass windows the highest Steeples that find pictures the padded pews the great sounding PA says the eloquent speakers which make it a church but it's Jesus there is Jesus there hahaha [Applause] it's the house of healing is it the house where Jesus heals if it is it's a church is it the house were broken homes and broken hearts amended if it is it's his house conversely if the building has beautiful facilities if it has lovely lighting if it has beautiful screens if it has carpet on the floor if it has padded pews if it has all the amenities that they have available it don't keep it from being a church because if he's there it's a church if it's there it's a church we can be just as fanatic about saying he's not in this let me tell you something it wasn't the tent that made it a church it was Jesus that made it a church [Applause] we went from a tent to a lodge Hall up over a grocery store on Washington Avenue we went from a grocery store up over we went from Donald Trump up over a grocery store out to 123 West Columbia and and put up a tent and started the church there at 123 West Columbia and we went from there to 5020 Pleasant Ridge Road and built a brand new beautiful Ultra Modern building one stainless steel restroom caused as much of that building did it at 123 West Columbia but that don't keep it from being a church because Jesus is in the church Lord we can go back we can go back to the tent where there were no restrooms but not whatsoever we could go back to the tent where they were sold us for a floor we could go back to 123 West Columbia where we had a flat top leaking roof and couldn't keep the roof from leaking and part of the time we had a dirt for and if Jesus wasn't there it was just a flat top leaky roof a ragged building that wasn't there but if Jesus was there it was a church ah in most cities and especially Knoxville the courthouse is one of the most beautiful ornate find buildings in town it has beautiful stained glass sits on the banks of the Tennessee River pillars you can't get in that building now with a pocket knife you can't get in that building right now without emptying your pockets and and letting them search you it's a fabulous building but some awful ugly things takes place there marriages are dissolved children are taken from one parent and given to the other young men hear a firm judge senses him to many years of imprisonment and sometimes even to death but I want you to know the house of God it's beautiful on the inside because instead of dissolving marriages and taking little children away from their parents the church is a prison where where marriages are mended where folks that can't get along find a way to get along where children are brought up in the ways of the Lord [Applause] laughs oh yeah tonight as I was getting ready for church we had the privilege of keeping one of our great granddaughters we love both of them so dearly Easton and and Eleanor of course and we don't want to leave out Callaway either he about to jump out of your lap when he this music starts but as I was getting ready for church the piano that says quiet at our house anymore it started playing and I listened and it was playing what time was away my sins nothing but the black both hands who in the world where is that music coming from where is that coming what nothing but the blood of Jesus oh precious is the flow that makes me white as no no other Fountain no nothing but the blood of Jesus my great-granddaughter had called up on the iPad the music of one of the old songs we used to sing in church as a congregation and it was playing in that old piano that's not played anymore that's what the church does the church takes our little ones and makes musicians out of them the church thinks those that might be getting ready to get on drugs and they get on the Holy Ghost and they sing and shout and dance under the spirit of God that's what the real Church does give him a hand you have praise the church could boast of luxuries stained glasses Steeples religious symbols but a church is not a church unless he who started it he who said Upon This Rock I'll build my church Hallelujah unless he built it and unless he's in it unless he's operating it it's not a church Matthew 16 18. and I say also unto thee Thou Art Peter and Upon This Rock I will build my church and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail this church there'll not be one stone left upon another Jesus said all those beautiful Stones 70 feet long 10 feet wide Jesus said the day is coming there'll not be one stone left upon another that's not going to be thrown down but he said my church he said Upon This Rock I'll build my church and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail against it Russia or the United States or China they don't have enough missiles and Rockets and atomic bombs to destroy his church because his church is more than Steeples and stone it's give him another hand clap praise now let me repeat my opening scripture Jesus went out and departed from the temple and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the Temple and Jesus said unto them see ye not all these things verily I say unto you there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down and as is set upon the Mount of Olives the disciples came unto him privately saying tell us when all these things shall be and what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world and Jesus said unto them you want to know the sign of the end of the world and the sign of his coming take heed that no man deceive you deceivers are going to come Matthew 16 13 Jesus came into the coast of caesarea Philippi he asked his disciples saying whom do men say that I the son of man am and they said some say thou art John the Baptist some Eli some Jeremiah's are one of the prophets he said to them but who do you say I am then Simon Peter answered and said Thou Art the Christ the son of the Living God and Jesus answered and said unto him blessed art thou Simon of our Jonah of our Flesh and Blood hath not revealed this to thee but my Father which is in heaven and I say also unto thee Thou Art Peter and Upon This Rock I will build my church and the Gates of Hell shall not Prevail against it if they're going to concern themselves with the opulence and extravagance of buildings Jesus said I'm out of here I'm not going to set up my kingdom in a place like this this has ceased to be a church my house have you called The House of Prayer but it said you've made it a den of Thieves I'm going to have a new church First Corinthians 3 16 John or Paul tells us about that new church First Corinthians 3 16 know ye not know ye not that ye are the temple of God that the spirit of God dwells in you I want you to know he's got a lot of churches sitting right here tonight and we're housed in a beautiful building but the building is not the church you're the Church of old and young rich or poor it don't matter if you've got the Holy Ghost Jesus said I'm with you but I shall be in you and Paul said the new Temple is going to be you you are the new church Hallelujah Oh Glory Hallelujah John 8 1-3 1-3 Jesus went until the mouth of Olives early in the morning he came again to the temple and all the people came into him and he sat down and taught them and the scrubs and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery and when they had set her in the midst hmm they were not there to have church they were not there to have a Revival they were there to have a lynching they were there to murder a poor defenseless woman they brought her to Jesus and said now Moses said a woman like this is to be stoned to death what do you say Jesus didn't say anything he wrote down on the ground and he said let him that's without sin cast the first stone we stopped and started writing again I didn't know he might have wrote where is the man I don't know but he said but when he looked up a lot of stones have been dropped but no one was standing there but that lone woman and he said woman where are Thon accusers she said I have none and he said neither do I condemn they would go and sin no more I want to tell you something if the church don't have room for adulterers and adulteresses to come in and get forgiven it's not a church if the church don't have forgiveness in it it's not a church don't bring this one to the church she or he's got a bad reputation so we're looking for that our church is not a church if if you can't bring adulterers and adulterers in and have them forgiven it and made brand new it's not a church it makes it a church if there is forgiveness there [Applause] Matthew 12 6 but I send to you that in this place is one greater than the temple this I say to you there's somebody in this Temple that's greater than he was talking about a physical building but let me tell you something the physical building only contains a place for the real church together and he said there's one in this house that's greater than the house Jesus said just defended his disciples for plucking corn on the Sabbath remember they wanted to persecute and prosecute the disciples for plucking corn on the Sabbath Jesus had just defended his disciples for plucking corn on the Sabbath reminded the self-righteous condemning Pharisees that David had entered the house of God and had eaten the shoe bread which was not permitted you remember David was running from Saul and he left in such haste he didn't even have a sword and only he run to the house of God that's the place to go when you're being chased by an enemy yet Pastor said it so beautifully today David said his feet are well and I slipped said he despises a wicked or envied and said until I went to the house of God I got a new attitude I got a new attitude when I got to the house of God now David was running from Saul and he went in he was hungry his men with him were hungry and he said to the priest he said have you got anything that he said don't have a thing but you bread and said that's unlawful for anybody to eat except the priests I ain't no priest but I'm hungry my man ain't no priest but they're hungry what do you do with a Hungry Man he said feed him so they were not allowed to eat the shoe bread but under the circumstance they ate the shoe bread some folks we feel like we need to stand and guard them away from the table you can't come in you you've been too bad you got too bad a reputation you can't eat it at this table I want you to know there are exceptions when you need to be fed Jesus the one that Jesus has the table spread where are the Saints oh Hallelujah the hungry this is the place they need to come and then David said I left and said says I don't even have a weapon I don't even have a sword priest said yeah you see that that cloth hanging on the wall there said there's something behind that cloth said there's a great big long sword hanging there he said David you might remember it that's the sword you cut the Giant's head off with if you need a sword David said let me have it there's none like that but give it to me I'll take it let me tell you something God's got the weapon for you to fight against the devil you can defeat a long tongue you can defeat gossip you can defeat hatred you can defeat Envy you can defeat competition there's something hanging on the wall that's already been experienced in cutting the head of the giant off that's the house of God [Applause] he also pointed out that the priest profaned the temple and remained blameless then Jesus proclaimed that in this place is one greater than the temple there are some things that this world may not understand now I want you to know that there's one greater in the temple that the temple because he's the one that can step over that lie the lion may say you can't do this and you can't do that you can't do something else oh yes I know that the doctrine the doctors say they're supposed to be stoned to death I I know that but there's one greater than the rules of one's greater than the law and he says I forgive you I forgive you Carol Magruder wrote the song There was a woman who came to Jesus she was taken in her sins cast down at his feet that day she was guilty and condemned the law said she must pay the price for mistakes that she had made but her shame became rejoicing when she heard the master say I forgive you I forgive you you may go your way and sin no more neither do I condemn you for mistake that you have made their greatest words ever spoken I forgive there's one greater than the temple in his house he has the authority to say I forgive you you might should have gone to the gallus years ago you might should have been stoned every one of us if we got what we deserved we wouldn't even be alive today but there's one in the temple that's greater than the temple that has overridden the rules and regulations and made me his love hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah behold there was a man which have a hand withered and they asked him saying is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day that and I'm reading from Matthew 12 10. and behold there was a man which had a hand withered and they asked him said is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day they said that they might accuse him they were not interested in the man being healed they were interested in trapping Jesus and violating their concept of keeping the Sabbath they're more interested in keeping their rules and regulations than they were for a man who had a withered hand let me tell you something if the healer is not in the house it's not the healer's house if there's no healing in the house the healer's not in the house the word says in Isaiah 53 5 but he was wounded for our transgression for our transgress he was wounded not for his not but for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed Jesus said there was a certain man who had two sons the younger son came to him one day and said dad I want to see what the other life was like give me the portion of goods apology to me and the Bible said he divided unto them is limited not many days after he gathered all together took his journey into a far country and there was the acceptance when right is living and when he had spent all There Rose a mighty famine and he began to be in one and he went and joined himself to a citizen of the country and he sent him in the field to feed swine and he would have feigned and filled his belly with the hustle the Hogs did it and no man gave to him one day he said how many Servants of my father have bread enough in the spirit and I perish my Hunger I know what I'm going to do I will arise and I'm going to go back home and I'm going to sit down I've sinned against Heaven against you and I'm no more worthy to be called your son don't make me a son just make me a hard serpent that's all I want so he arose and he climbed over the old Hog Pen fence and and he found his way back home his father saw him while he was a great will he didn't say there comes that no count no good boy that spent my substance on writers living the Bible said he ran and that collapsed fell upon his neck and kissed him and the boy started said Daddy I'm sending his heaven I'm not worthy to be be quiet Bob hey hey I can go get the look at his feet he didn't have shoes go get those shoes out of the closet oh oh be quiet son go get the robe that we've been shooting the miles out of the yeah out of the closet we're going to put a new robot oh son you've lost weight you look so lean you look so like oh like go kill the fattening calf we're gonna have a party call up the van and we're going to have a party my son that was dead is alive my son that was lost his if the church can't do that for our lost children it's not a church what makes a church the church you've heard me said before and I'll say it again this the father could not keep that prodigal from leaving but the one thing daddy could do he could keep the home place ready when he decided to come home when the boy came home he didn't find a Walmart parking lot he didn't find a home
