Summary
Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.
The Mighty God in Christ
- The lesson's foundation is its focus verse: he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- Jesus and his disciples baptized in Judea while John also baptized, because there was much water there; John's disciples brought him a report touched with jealousy, and John answered that a man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven.
- John refused the spirit of competition: he is the friend of the bridegroom, not the bridegroom — he must increase, but I must decrease.
- Moses answered the same spirit the same way when two men prophesied in the camp — would God that all the Lord's people were prophets — and Paul rebuked the carnal divisions of 'I am of Paul' and 'I am of Apollos': God gives the increase.
- The teacher pressed the oneness of God from Jesus' own words, 'I and my Father are one': Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, and to believe on the Son is to believe in God.
Scriptures: John 3:22-36; 1 Corinthians 3:3-9; John 10:30
Living Waters
- Jesus must needs go through Samaria: he broke every social barrier because he came to seek and to save that which was lost.
- To the woman at the well he offered living water: whosoever drinketh of the water that he gives shall never thirst, but it shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
- He knew her whole past — five husbands, and the man she lived with not her husband — yet he offered her the gift of God; the true worshippers worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
- When she spoke of Messiah coming, he answered her directly: 'I that speak unto thee am he.' She left her waterpot and told the city, 'Come, see a man which told me all things that ever I did.'
- The teacher told how he and his twin brother Bobby received the Holy Ghost as boys in a little Pentecostal church in Missouri and made their own church in a red barn — the same Spirit, worshipped in spirit and in truth.
Scriptures: John 4:4, 7-30; John 8:56-58
The nobleman's faith
- A prophet has no honour in his own country, yet the Galileans received Jesus, and there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick and at the point of death.
- Jesus answered the nobleman's desperation with a word only: 'Go thy way; thy son liveth' — and the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and went his way.
- His servants met him saying his son lived; the fever had left at the seventh hour, the very hour Jesus had spoken — and the nobleman believed, and his whole house.
- Across the three lessons the teacher returned to one theme: Jesus responds to faith — with John's disciples, with a woman of Samaria, and with a nobleman alike.
Scriptures: John 4:43-53

praise the Lord everyone we greet you tonight in the wonderful name of the Lord Jesus Christ what a joy it is to be in the house of the Lord tonight tonight got a great crowd here tonight for a nice cool uh breezy day got a little cold last night but thank God for a good warm building and thank God for all that's been going on here at First Apostolic Church we've had so many great things happening in the last few weeks uh we are we are three Bible studies behind and uh actually I'm going to be I'm going to be teach teaching three Bible lessons tonight but I'm not going to take uh three times the the time I'm going to still close at myself appointed time and but we'll be starting with a new uh series after tonight we'll be going into a subject called God's holiness but right now we are studying Jesus responds to Faith and we've studied several weeks about that Jesus responds to Faith and indeed he does and before we get into tonight's uh lesson let's go to the Lord in prayer father we thank you for the privilege of studying the word of the Lord together with your people I pray you'll touch the lips of clay that we may speak the things that you would have us to speak anoint the word that's been going forth and I want the ears that hears the word in Jesus name we pray amen and amen tonight's lesson is entitled The Mighty God in Christ and it has the sound of a study of the godhead and that really isn't the basic study of the godhead but uh it's talking about the Mighty God in Christ and his ministry and I thought find some very interesting things in tonight's lesson and uh we'll start with our Focus verse is John 3:36 he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the son shall not see life but wrath of God abideth on him number one you've got to believe without faith the Bible said it is impossible impossible to please God without faith it is impossible uh except you believe that I am he said You shall die in your sins so that is a a very foundational truth you've got to have faith and to believe in him and our lesson text is taken from the third chapter of John you know the the first part of the third chapter of John is where Nicodemus came to the Lord by night and and and all of this but uh the in the third chapter of John we have that great golden text of the Bible for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son John 3:16 and we all learn that at a very young age but we're at verse 22 tonight starting at verse 22 after these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea and there he tered with them and baptized now we have another scripture in the Bible I don't have it before me right now but it said Jesus baptized not himself but his disciples so there is discussion as whether or not Jesus actually baptized but when his disciples baptized that was the same as him baptizing after these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea and there he teed with them and baptized and John also was baptizing in enan near to Salem because there was much water there and they came and were baptized now for some reason the Bible mentions the fact that there was much water there and they were baptizing and uh I'm a firm believer that when the Bible mentions baptizing it's talking about immersion uh putting down in water like a watery grave it even speaks about it being as a as a watery grave and there was much water there and the Bible said that he was uh he was baptized and with them and baptized and John also was baptizing in enan near Salem because there was much water there and they came and were baptized and John was not yet k cast into prison there's some some things that you and I might consider in that little verse right there John was not yet cast into prison God's ways are higher than man and past man finding out now we we have scripture uh where uh Peter was in prison and in the night angel came and tapped him on the shoulder the chains fell off and he got up and and uh when he got to the Iron Gate the gate swing open as of his own accord and he was all the way out in the street before he realized he wasn't having a dream that he actually was freed uh we have the record of Paul and Silas being in in jail and they sang and the prisoners heard them and and the Lord delivered them now we've got John the Baptist the Bible said he was not yet put put in prison uh John was beheaded by the cruel uh uh Herod and uh according to herodes his wife's request she wanted his head served to her on a charger because he had preached against his her marriage because it was UN unlawful and and yet here we've got some folks that's been delivered from prison and now we've got John the Baptist who was the four Forerunner of Jesus the Lord could have delivered him but we don't know why God does what he does but it would help you and me to understand that there are some things that God has a plan and a reason and you and I don't know but God has got a purpose in it and John was not yet cast into prison and there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying and they came to John and said unto him Rabbi he that was with thee Beyond Jordan to whom thou bearest witness behold the same baptizeth and all men come to him now uh I put in my notes Here beware of jealousy now here we have Jesus a a and his disciples and and we've got John and they're all baptizing and in the midst of all of this uh here some of John's disciples goes to John and there's some question about uh purifying now in in all the commentaries I have and all the material it don't exact it don't tell you what they the the purifying was it might have been do do they think that this baptism is right or that baptism is right it doesn't matter but there was a discussion and the the Disciples of John they made it a point to tell him now now Rabbi this man that that that that you baptized he's over here baptizing and said everybody's coming to him everybody well everybody wasn't but they were putting the word to to John that uh the man that he said he was was going to come after him he was drawing more people than than John was and and this is something the devil uses on a lot of people is the the competition and the planting of jealousy in in people's hearts now notice uh what what John says and they came to John and said unto him Rabbi he that was with thee Beyond Jordan to whom thou bear witness behold the same baptizeth and all men come to him now John answered and said a man can receive nothing except it be given him from Heaven ye yourselves bear me witness that I said I'm not the Christ but that I am sent before him he that hath the bride is the bridegroom but the friend of the bridegroom which standeth and heareth him rejoiceth great greatly because of the bridegroom's voice this my joy therefore is fulfilled he must increase but I must decrease let's let's stop right there at at verse uh uh 29 rather verse 30 instead of John uh getting offended or John joining in with a a spirit of jealousy or competition he said don't you remember I told you that I'm the Forerunner he must increase and I must decrease there's a great deal of Truth in that one statement some of us need to decrease so Jesus can increase in our life the bigger we are the smaller he is the larger he is the smaller we're going to get and we must commit our our El to him but there was every opportunity of jealousy to to be aroused and I want you to notice over in the The Book of Numbers uh Moses uh he called an assembly of the of the elders into the Tabernacle a and uh they all came in and the cloud full fall over the Tabernacle and and uh there were 70 elders and the spirit of God fell on them and they began to prophesy and as they began to prophesy here came here came Joshua and he said Moses there's two Fells that didn't come to the Tabernacle they didn't come to this meeting that you called elad and mad they're down there and they didn't come to the meeting and they're down there prophesying and Moses said what are you trying to do you're trying to stir me up he said I would to God that everybody in Israel was prophets I said let them alone let let them prophesy now follow me there is a pattern here and some of us will unwittingly become Satan's messenger by telling so did you know so so's doing so and so and well they're doing that because they're compromising they're doing that because of this or that and the other to get me to criticize another church across town another church across here and there well the reason they're doing what they're doing is because of th thus th thus and thus well Moses told lad told Joshua about lad and midad they may not be here but they're prophesying and God's got his hand on them and Moses said I I would excuse me I would to God that they were all prophets and what we need to have the attitude if there's a Revival across town or across the state or where I would to God that every Church in Tennessee I would to God that every Church in this country was having a Revival and they were praying folks through the Holy Ghost every night folks would be getting healed I pray to God that every Church would be baptized and folks and we need to thank God for it and not be jealous of it and let me further go to First Corinthians chapter 3 I don't think I've had this in my notes for our our technicians and again I I join with Pastor Mark giving honor to our technicians that do such a great job with our sound and our multimedia and uh all the things that that that they do um I used to do all of that in my myself I pull pit I had a little amplifier about that big and it said in the pull pit if I wanted it Lou I'd open the door and turn it up and of course the quality wasn't quite as good as it is now but we God has given us such great technicians and thank the Lord for you you ladies and gentlemen now then in 1 Corinthians 3:3 uh Paul said for ye are yet colel for whereas there is among you envying and strife divisions are ye not carnal and walk as men for while one saith I am of Paul another I am of Apollos are ye not carnal who then is Paul and who is apollis but ministers by whom we believed even as the lord gave to every man I have planted Apollos watered but God gave the increase so then neither is he that planteth anything neither is he that WTH but God that giveth the increase now he that planteth and he that WTH are one and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor now whether it's in Poland whether it's in the Philippines whether it's in South Africa whether it's in Alaska it doesn't matter we there is just one church and we are just a branch of God's universal church and whatever God is doing wherever he's doing it we need to give God the glory and praise His name and not have words of criticism remember this we're talking about God in Christ were talking about how they handle dispute or the possibility of disputes John answered and said a man can receive nothing except it be given him from Heaven ye yourselves bear me witness that I said I am not the Christ but that I am sent before him he that hath the bride is the bridegroom well uh there's only one bride and there's and there's one bridegroom now Jesus is the bridegroom his church is the bride you and I are part of that body that makes up the bride of Christ the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven adorned as a bride for her husband you and I are part of that church and no matter what part of this universe that we are in that's what we are and we need to pray for Unity we need to pray for love and compassion that wherever it is that God will give Revival he that hath the bride is the bridegroom but the friend of the bridegroom which standeth and heareth him rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice this my joy therefore is fulfilled now what John is saying is I'm not the groom I told you a long time ago I'm the Forerunner now he's given an analogy here a comparison that he's watching what Jesus is doing and and he's a friend of the Bride he's a friend of the bridegroom and he's rejoicing at what God is doing oh God give us a a a spirit of rejoicing when I hear of of of souls that that uh brother FL is winning to God as an evangelist that Thrills my soul that's our that's a I'm I'm a friend of Revival I'm a friend of what God is doing when I hear what God is doing at Kingsport when I hear what God is doing in Nashville or Maryville or Clinton I'm rejoicing because it's part of what we are he that at the bride is the bridegroom he must increase but I must must decrease I repeat this again we're going to have to accept our position and Let Jesus be large in our life because he must increase and I must decrease he that Cometh From Above is above all he that is of the earth is Earthly and speaketh of the earth he that Cometh From Heaven is above all and what he hath seen and heard that he testifieth and no man receiveth his testimony he that hath received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true for he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him for the the Father loveth the Son and have given all things into his hand he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him now remember this Jesus said in St John 10:30 I and my father are one there are three that bear record in heaven the Father the word and the Holy Ghost and these three are one now if you don't believe in Jesus as the Son of God you don't believe in God because Jesus is God man manest In the Flesh without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest In the Flesh he was justified of the spirit sent of angels preached un the Gentiles and received up in the glory now who was that none other it could be none other than Jesus Christ so this was God in Christ all right we're going to we're we're we're going fast over the lesson the next lesson was still Jesus respond resp to Faith lesson 3.3 and this lesson is entitled Living Waters Focus verse John 413 through uh John 4:13 through1 14 Jesus answered and said unto her whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst but the water that I shall give give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life now there was such enmity between the the Jewish and the Gentiles especially the Samaritans who had mixed blood that they had mixed marriage a and they were very strict with the with what they uh fellowshipped with and they didn't have anything to do with each other in fact many time the Jews many would not even go towards Samaria at one time they they left Jesus because it appeared that he was going to Samaria but in this the the fourth chapter of John we're studying now the Bible said Jesus must needs go through Samaria now that's that's that's saying Jesus must needs go go through a territory that is a no no it's not it's not recommended you you you you you don't fellowship with this crowd over here you don't but the Bible said Jesus must needs go through Samaria now I don't know what this world thinks of Knoxville Tennessee I know that back in was it 84 when they had the World's Fair the an article came out about uh putting Knoxville down is not really being worthy to host the World's Fair and they called it the scruffy little city on the banks of the Tennessee River the scruffy little city a and they they acted as though that we were not worthy to host the the World's Fair well uh Jesus may not would it was not uh beneficial to his reputation to go through Samaria but the Bible said he must needs go well he might could have overlooked the scruffy little city of Knoxville but thank God he had reason he had need to go through Knoxville Tennessee and while I while I was in Little Rock Arkansas in 1956 God said go to that scruffy little city of Knoxville Tennessee and start a church I didn't know what I was in in for but I do know that God had a reason of sending me to the scruffy little city of Knoxville Tennessee there were Give the Lord a hand [Applause] clap you'll have to excuse me I uh I get a little excited sometimes trying to to teach and wind up preaching now why did he need to go through Samaria was there some great politician was there some great Royal person uh that was going to hear was it going to attract somebody that was going to be a uh financially beneficial to his ministry was there somebody there that that was a Renown that needed to hear Jesus well here's what the Bible said there cometh a woman woman of Samaria to draw water Jesus sath unto her give me to drink for his disciples were going away unto the city to buy meat now all the protocol was being violated number one uh that it wasn't uh advisable for a man to talk to a a woman that he didn't know number two if he did it all it must be in the company of others but Jesus was sitting on the well his disciples were going into the city to buy meat a and now this Samaritan woman comes to the well to draw water and Jesus opens the conversation with a request and he said to the woman of Samaria uh give me a drink of water then said the woman of Samaria unto him how is it that thou being a Jew asketh drink of me which am a woman of Samaria for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans we before we go any further let me say this Jesus when he came along he broke all the social barriers and all the the the the socials uh uh Thou shalt not he broke them because he came to seek and to save that which was lost he didn't come for the glittering world of the unfallen he didn't come for those that didn't need a savior he didn't come for those who were financially well off he came for one and all rich or poor there was no color barriers there were no social barriers there were no Financial barriers he came to seek and to save that which was lost and I'm here to tell you and I don't have to tell First Apostolic Church this because you already believe this we are here for whoever it doesn't matter what color it don't matter what educational back ground you have he came to seek and to save that which was lost then said the woman s to him how is it that thou being a Jew ask a drink of me which I'm a woman uh who which am a a woman of Samar for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans Jesus answered and said unto her if you only knew if thou knewest if thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that say to thee give me to drink you would have asked of him and he would have given thee Living Waters listen to that again if you knew the gift if you just only knew who you was talking to if you knew the gift of God and if you knew who you was talking to you would I'm only asking for a drink of H2O uh water but the one you're talking to if if I drink the water that you give me I'm going to thirst again but the water that I'm going to give you he said you'll never thirst again Jesus answered say if thou knowest the gift of God and who it is that said to thee give me to drink thou would have asked of him and he would have given thee Living Water the woman said un him sir thou has nothing to draw with and the well is deep for once then has has thou that Living Water art thou greater than our father Jacob which gave us the well and drink thereof himself and his children and his cattle well now ma'am you said are you greater than our father Jacob that gave us the well and drink thereof him and his cattle well Jesus addressed that not only about Jacob but Jacob's grandfather Abraham Isaac and Jacob and John 8:56 Jesus said your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and saw it and was glad then said the Jews unto him well you're not 50 years old and as thou seen Abraham Jesus said to them verily verily I say unto you before Abraham was I am if you only knew who you was talking to no are you greater than than Jacob I'm the one that created Jacob I'm the one that created the water in the well you just don't know who you're talking to oh give the Lord another hand clap Jesus said unto them verely verily I say unto you before Abraham was I am now who Could That Be it could be none other than God Almighty manifest in Jesus Christ well they didn't exactly Rejoice over that then took they up stones to cast at him but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple going through the midst of them and so passed by now let's go back to verse 13 Jesus answered and said unto her whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life this is the the Glorious and beautiful thing about the the experience of salvation uh this whole world uh they they try something to give them a little bit of Life what is life well what can I and and they'll try booze they'll try drugs they'll try uh scenery they'll try pleasures of all kind and and and in just a little while they're thirsty and they they want more they want to have something else they want to have something else but Jesus said the water that I'm going to give you it's going to satisfy that thirst it's why do we come on here on Wednesday night why do we gather here Sunday morning Su why do we gather for youth reality why do we gather for camp meeting because our soul is being blessed and we're we're being filled with the the the the Holy Ghost which is the water that the world can't give and the world cannot take away but whosoever drinketh the water that I shall give him shall never thirst but but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life the woman saith unto him sir give me this water that I thirst not neither come hither to draw Jesus said unto her go call thy husband and come hither uhoh we got a problem now got a problem said go call your husband and come back the woman answered and said I don't have a husband Jesus said to her you've well said I have no husband but said you've had five husbands and the man to whom thou ask is not thy husband and that sayest thou truly now there's a there's a a great deal of U concern wrapped up in this little package right here uh he said go call your husband well he knew all about that woman he knew he knew because he told her so she said I don't have a husband he said no but you've had five husbands let's stop right there for just a minute this woman was living in a day when women were considered almost a chadow almost material that was owned by a man and and she could have been sorely mistreated the fact that she had five husband does not necessarily mean that she was a rounder or a mean woman but it could have been that she was miserably mistreated by five men but now she's living with a man that's not her own and now then this man that's promising water that you'll never thirst a water that you can get without having to draw it from a well he now tells her her past and yes you've had five husbands the man you're living with is not your own but said now then I'm going to change your life totally the woman said them sir I perceive that thou art a prophet our fathers worshiped in this mountain and ye say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship Jesus sath unto Heroman believe me the hour cometh when ye shall neither worship and this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem uh at Jerusalem worship the father you worship ye know not what we know what we worship for salvations of the Jews but the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father seeketh such to worship Him the hour cometh and now is when true worshippers it's not whether they worship at Jerusalem in this mountain or this place or this place but we worship God in spirit and in truth to this country boy boy they got the Holy Ghost and a little Trinity Pentecostal Church in paccola Missouri when when Bobby and I got home we made our own church out behind our house on 84 Highway there was a a big old Red Barn and we climbed up in that red barn and we laid us down bales of hay and made us an altar and we'd climb up the ladder in that uh Halo and we'd get to praying and the same holy ghost that we felt in that church at paccola we made our we made our own church and we been get to shouting and talking in tongues and dance all over that Barn off it was the same spirit for God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth sister M was eight years old and she and some of the other girls there little girls that that age they had a place there in the in the mountain out from the house of trees and just out the the bush you might say and they had them little fix up and made them a play church and they'd get out there and they'd get to singing and praying and and and worshiping and they' start out playing church and before they knew it sstem m cool the Holy Ghost got got a hold of her and she passed out in the spirit and started talking in tongues and they had to carry her to her house and put her on the bed she she had got the Holy Ghost up there and was talking and she wasn't in a real church at all and something very similar to that happened at our house a few days ago uh our little great granddaughter East and she got to singing and she's playing some of the church songs and and she got to got to pray it and and she got singing those songs and she said M said I feel like crying M just go ahead and pray and she got down her knes and she got to praying and crying and and and I think she was talking in tongues then but the very next night I believe it was she came here in the the the Cod orange Revival and got the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues oh you see God's a spirit and they that worship Him worship Him not in a cathedral not in a fine building but they worship Him in spirit and in truth verse 24 God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth the woman said un him I know the Messiah cometh which is called Christ when he is come he'll tell us all things Jesus said that there and this uh this is one of those lines that that kind of overwhelms me personally I I not just in teaching but this uh speaks to my soul and blesses my soul the woman said to him I know that Messiah cometh which is called Christ when he's come he'll tell us all things Jesus saith unto her I that speak unto thee am he you're talking to her you're waiting on the Messiah to come and you just don't know it but you're talking to him let me tell you something folks you're in the presence of almighty God he's the Holy Ghost baptizer he's the Divine healer he's the financial provider he's everything that you need I am he that's talking to you do you realize and whose presence we're in right now Jesus saith unto her I that speak unto thee am he and upon this came his disciples and marveled here they showed up from going to the town to buy meat and and they they were marveling the fact that he talked with the woman yet no man said what seek thou or why talkest thou with her this was an unusual situation and they were astonished the woman then left her water pot whoa a very useful commodity something that every woman had to have and needed to have and that was a water pot it was a woman's job to go to the well and draw water and then pour it into her water pot and she would take home it was a very very valuable commodity but something had happened to her that so overwhelmed her that she left her water pot and headed home I want to tell you something there is an experience with God make you forget everything else your water pot you going to the all the things that you consider beautiful the things that you can consider valuable the things that you consider you can't do you'll leave it set because I I got to go tell some folks what's happened to me I've got to go tell folks I got the Holy Ghost I got to go the night Bobby and I got the holy ghost from we we came home dancing shouting and it's about two miles from where we live to the to past Cola and my mom and dad they didn't go to church that that my mother was was filled with the Holy Ghost but my dad wasn't and we went in dancing and shouting and talking in tongues and we went to the back room to their bedroom and and woke them up and I just knew that they were going to be tickled to death of us there boys getting the Holy Ghost well my mother was but my dad said boys get out of here and be quiet I got to go to work in the morning he didn't realize uh how thrilled we were well she she left her water pots then said um I me came his disciples the woman then left her water pot and went her way into the City and saith unto the men come see a man which told me all things that ever I did and then she asked the question is not this the Christ then they went out of the city and came unto him she went out and started telling what happened and the Bible said then they went out of the city and came unto him when she got through telling the experience she had had with This Man Called Jesus they all gathered out we don't know the we don't know the result of what happened but we know that it aroused all their curiosity and they came out to see Jesus all right s series three Jesus responds to Faith lesson 3.4 and this is the last lesson in this series series three and the last lesson is from Canaan to capernium the focus verse John 4:50 Jesus saith unto him go thy way thy son liveth and the man believed the word that Jesus has spoken to him and he went his way John 4:43 the lesson text now after two days he departed then and went into Galilee for Jesus himself testified that a prophet hath no honor in his own country uh there's something to be said right here that could be analy um if we aren't careful we will fail to get give honor to whom honor is due a prophet is not is not without save in his own country when he becomes too common and if we're not careful we individually not just the ministry but if we aren't careful because of our familiarity we fail to give honor to each other as we should you are Saints of the most high God and I love to hear you call brother and sister brother and sister Jones brother and sister Wilson brother and sister uh whoever and and that's what we are brothers and sister I I don't even I don't even like to call you by your first name uh there's something about the uh the reverence the respect that that I want you to to understand and and that that you are important you're God's child and I want to recognize that and for Jesus himself testified the prophet is no has no honor in his own country then when he was come to Galilee the galileans received him having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at The Feast for they also went unto the feast so Jesus came again into Canaan of Galilee when he made the water where he made the water into wine and there was a certain no man whose son was sick at capernium now we have just dealt with we've just dealt with John's disciples and now we've dealt with a woman at the well a Samaritan who had had five husbands and was living with a man common law and and and the the the social ladder is getting lower all the time and now then you might come to think that well it's it's only the the poor and the down and out he comes to no Jesus entered into Galilee and there was a nobleman I want you to notice this Jesus came again into Canan of Galilee where he made the water wine and there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at capernium when he heard that Jesus
