if you will stand with me if you're not already standing and thank you to our worship team amen give give them honor what what an amazing thing it is to be led into worship by anointed singers and musicians amen thank God for the anointing that's in the church today I'm so thankful I'm thankful to be Apostolic I'm so thankful we feel this every service this is not something that comes once a month once a year once everything this is something we feel aiming every service and what an honor it is to be in his presence today give senior pastor first lady honor today amen Miss always miss always miss Pastor Carpenter when he is not here amen but we know as Pastor Hammond said he's doing great he's doing a great thing there in Louisiana and I know the people of that church are going to be so thankful amen for what's going to take place today it feels good to be debt-free doesn't it come on we know how it feels it feels good to be debt-free doesn't it well every month that the week's not looking payment for your for your Sanctuary for your church it feels good feels good to be free free of dead amen and I'm just I'm thankful I'm excited for pastor Thornton good friend of mine and thankful for for what's going to happen there at his wonderful Church well if you will turn in your Bibles with me in a Psalm 51 and 12 and while you're turning there I want to also say as Pastor Hammond has already said it's so good to have our guests in the house and I'm just looking around and please forgive me if it looks like I'm just scanning the audience but I just love to look and see see the faces of the Saints and see the faces of the guests that are here uh worse been with us and thank you so much for making this this your place of worship and it is our honor to worship alongside of you today Psalm 51-12 says restore unto me the joy of thy salvation see that right there it says thy salvation a lot of times that's miscorded into saying my salvation but it's restored unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit another translation makes a little clearer it says restore to me again the joy of your salvation and make me willing to obey you that's what that means right there make me willing to obey you so there's a cost to Restoration yes there is it's called obedience restoration is never cheap amen that tear with me and look with me in in first Samuel look at Chapter 30 verse number eight one of my one of my favorite stories in the Bible and probably one of my very favorite Bible characters David I just want to read one verse in your hearing we'll we'll pick up a little bit later on keep the Bible open into this into this great story but the Bible says and David inquired of the Lord saying shall I pursue after this Troop shall I overtake them and God answered him and said pursue for thou shall overtake them and without fail recover all I just want to minister a subject that I believe the Lord has given me for this body this morning simply entitled a restoration Revival we we need a restoration Revival we need something to break out in here that restores us back to what God means for us and desires for us to be if that's your desire come on let's just lift up your voice and lift up your hands and say God I want to be restored Lord God everything that I've lost everything that's been taken from me spiritually Lord I just believe Lord God in this house today there are people Lord that stand before me with their arms lifted High who have things stolen from them Lord God that you're gonna give back that you're gonna help them restore into their life oh in Jesus name I believe today is the day Lord God a Revival Spirit can break out in this house things can be revived back again Lord God let life be given again Lord God where life has been taken in honest belief tonight that today great things are going to be in store for every person in this room if you feel this you why don't you clap your hands and make a Joyful Noise until the Lord today Lord we bless you oh we praise you we thank you Lord God for your joy and your salvation you may be seated in the house just a little bit more Mike it's very close amen thank you brother Holland doing an awesome job did the sound just sound amazing this morning again it's easy to worship God when you've got anointed worship and good sound and I'm so thankful for that brother Holland thank you so much you and the team that's helping you today I got a question for you have you ever had anything stolen from you let me see a hand if you've ever had anything stolen from you majority majority and and I know sometimes that's like like in elementary school you might have had your bike stolen out of your front yard and I know that hurts and and maybe you had a maybe you had your wallet stolen or I remember we took it we took a group we took a group to uh to Paris France and they warned us they warned us before we even got out there they want us they said listen there are pickpocketers everywhere and you know how it is you're just like yeah that happens to everybody else but that won't happen to me you know and they said you know strap ladies strap your purses around the around the front of you and guys put your wallets in your front pockets and and I this this Youth Corps we took I promise you brother Jason it wasn't 10 minutes we were on the street 10 minutes and we had kids coming up crying oh my purse was stolen and somebody asked me to sign some kind of a uh they're they're selling something want me to sign something and stole my purse and we're like we told you right but you know that doesn't help no I told you so doesn't help um you know because you know you people tell you you know when you're in foreign countries lock everything up carry stuff with you we were in we were in Chile a couple months ago and uh in Santiago and and really Santiago it's a beautiful place and it's it's really it feels for the most part it feels safe it really um it's kind of like Paris France it feels safe when you're walking around you don't see it it just you just don't know what you're going to get into well we had worked all day long we brought brother ASA and sister Cameron the sage with us and and they they came to film and we we uh we recorded three uh Spanish Apple stock Collective songs which by the way are hopefully going to come out soon I'll tell you how that's going to happen here in a minute uh but brother brother ASA uh man he had he had the recording equipment he had his laptop he had everything uh carried around in backpacks matter of fact we we wouldn't let any of our stuff out of our sight until it was a late that evening we had a full church service we had been at church for probably 12 hours between recording between Services we had been uh there at a general conference and we stopped and the only place that was open there was this there was this like truck stop but but don't get me wrong it wasn't it wasn't a truck stop that looked um it was really it was a truck stop that was really nice I mean it was a really nice place and and we pulled in and and uh Pastor there brother Daniel he dropped us off and and we went and ordered some hamburgers and we came outside to start eating and it wasn't it wasn't 10 minutes into us eating and somebody came up and of course they said it in Spanish but but they said it in a way that I knew we were in trouble because they came up brother Salinas and and he began to tell them in Spanish he said do you own an SUV because somebody's broke the window out and stole everything out of it and I thought oh God no I looked at ASA and ASA didn't have his backpack and I looked at Cameron and Cameron didn't have her backpacking of course right away I saw fear you know bless their horses newlyweds man every everything they owned was in those two backpacks I saw I saw the blood leave their face and of course we ran around and sure enough somebody had taken a crowbar and just ripped out the window opened the door and taken my wife's purse with the phones we had uh iPads and laptops and recording and cameras and I don't know they said probably somewhere around ten to twelve thousand dollars worth of stuff they got like that and then there's a difference between losing something and having something stolen from you oh we understand that when when you lose something you have nobody to blame but yourself but when you put something under lock and key and a lot of times I guess that's just a false uh that's false security that we have sometimes that we lock our cars everything's okay but you're thinking when something's this that's a horrible feeling now all of you to raise your hands of some storm dead remember how that how that felt that that feeling of somebody took advantage of me right it's more it's more than just I I sat in a chair and my wallet fell in my pocket now I can't find my wallet or or I went to the store and left it sitting on a shelf or I left my purse somewhere and oh man I should have done that and somebody there's a difference feeling of losing something or having something taken from you I'm talking about I'm talking about came in and on purpose broke in on purpose ripped open crowbar to open the door on purpose took something that belonged to you something of value it's a sick feeling if I if I could get you this morning just to keep that memory and just keep that thought in your mind of what that felt like it's going to help me get through this message because uh there's a devil in hell that hates the church there's a devil in hell that hates every person Seated on every Pew in this house today he hates you because you and I remind him of what he used to be and not only what he used to be but God God made us in his likeness and In His Image and every time the devil looks at you and me he looks at God every time he sees you every time you worship every time you praise every time you live a righteous in a holy lifestyle he looks at you and it reminds him of God and he hates everything about us and and uh listen I don't like preaching about the devil I don't like giving the devil any more news than he already has but sometimes you gotta preach about something in order to understand it because you can't defeat something you don't understand so every person in this room I want you to keep that in the foreknowledge of your mind that the devil hates us he hates everything about our past our present and our future yeah we were created we were created because he couldn't do what God designed him to do our bodies are I preached about this before and I I'm a music guy and I I'm a vocalist and I I majored in vocal education in University and so it's something that I've studied but but God made us God put pipes inside of our body God gave us a diaphragm he made us into living instruments just because Lucifer because Satan could not do the job he was created to do we're here listen this is so much more important listen I'm so thankful we get to come together and see one another I'm so thankful we wear the very best we have I'm thankful we drive the very nicest we have the church and we come and bring our families and and we have to you know of course we want to look the part and act apart but this is this this whole thing we're doing this morning is so much more than just being together although we need to be together well we're doing this morning is praising God in a way that Lucifer in one-third of the Angels could not do oh I'm sorry that they would not do that's why that's why worship is an option it's an option it's nothing God's not going to force you to worship God God's not going to make your hand raise up when you don't want it to raise up God's not gonna put your hands together and bang your hands together if you don't desire to do it he's not looking for for worship that's robotic this is not artificial intelligent worship this is this is the people of God that come together and say God because I've been designed to do this because I've been designed to be a praiser in a worshiper because like David was a songstresser because he became and he wrote songs in Psalms in sin in spiritual songs to God we do that because that's what you created us to do and the devil hates that the devil cannot stand that and he's going to do whatever he can do to try to stifle what God is doing through his people so if you will if you will keep that keep that in your mind as we move through as we as we move through this message the devil hates you and he wants to stop you he desires everything inside of him he desires to take everything from you that reminds him of God the Bible says in James 4 and 7 it says resist the devil and he will flee the word resists right there means to exert force in opposition resist does not mean to run from the Devil the only thing that the only thing that we hear about running is the flee fornication and that's not the devil that's our flesh when it comes to the devil we are to resist him we are to fight we are to exert horse in opposition but here as I as I flip up between the natural and the spiritual I want you to I want you to follow closely with me because there's a part in this story where God says you're not to run from but you are to pursue what has been taken from you he said I've given you power we're going to preach about this morning but he said I've given you power and authority to pursue those things ah oh to pursue those things have been stolen from you so if you will look with me in first Samuel chapter 30 I I hope you have the text open I I hope you have it ready because we're going to continue on with the story but our story picks up with David in his in his small army of Renegades he's enlisted he's enlisted his army David's Army along with the Philistines to fight against Wicked King Saul now he he's a living this the city he's living in ziglag is actually in Philistine country it's a it's a city that the Philistines had captured long ago and and they allowed David because he was at odds with Saul uh they knew that there was friction there and there's confrontation there they actually allowed David to live in the city of sickler even though it was in Philistine territory and so David and I kind of feel like David Dave is a smart guy they were so wise he's he's a wise leader and I've got to believe we already know that David would not touch Saul we already understand that David had opportunity to kill Saul and David said I will not touch God's anointed so I just got a feeling that when the Story begins right here that David was going to enlist with the with the with the Army from the Philistines in order to somehow come around from the backside and destroy the Philistines with other Hebrews of Saul's Army amen however uh the generals of the Philistine Army uh they got a little they got a little apprehensive of allowing this David this this Goliath killer to come along with them and fight alongside so uh they told the king of philistine they said they said you need to send him and his army back home because uh they they may they may seem like traitors but I just don't know if they're Traders are not so the story picks up and here we have David and his men as they uh return back home to sickle again and in verse number one of chapter 30 the Bible says and it came to pass when David and his men were come to ziglag on the third day that the amalekites had invaded the South and ziklag and had smitten ziklag and burned it with fire and had taken the women captive then it's like they salute none of them either great or small but carry them away so them and went on their way verse 3 says so David with his men came to the city and behold it was burned with fire in their wives and their sons and their daughters were all taken captives I I gotta have you help me to think about what must have been going through the minds of David here he is he's going to do God's work here he is he's taking his men thinking to himself I'm going to go and I'm going to fight alongside of the Philistines but not really and and then I'm going to go and I'm going to fight for the Hebrew Nations and and here I am I'm doing something for God but here I've returned and I've found in my unprotected wives he had two wives at the time my unpredicted wives and my sons and my daughters have all been stolen from me and not just stolen but the Bible talks about this Satan is a Devourer he he he's like a lion he's looking for someone to devour he he's waiting someone to devour and the word devour means to destroy utterly that's what devour means to destroy utterly you see Satan he's not just going to come by your house and and take a few things oh no he's looking to destroy everything about you he wants to take your reputation he wants to destroy your children he wants to destroy your grandkids he wants you destroy your siblings your parents everything that's in the house he's going to steal and then he's going to burn it down because that's just what he does he's a destroyer he's a hater he's someone who's seeking whom he may devour and here we have right here in first Samuel 30 we have David we have our beloved David we have David who here he is with his men and they are Weeping the Bible says they wept until they could weep no more think about this they wept until they could weep no more everything inside of them they said God why here we've we've traveled for three days we've traveled for three whole days and we're tired we were hoping that our wives would have meals cooked and ready on the fire we were looking to just get inside of our homes and sleep for a little while and rest for a little while and now we have found everything is gone nobody's in the camp our children have been enslaved our wives have been enslaved and here we are back with nothing to show for it but I feel today I feel there's somebody in the house today and you're saying I feel what David felt I've been there I used to have it all I used to be successful I used to have a spiritual walk with God and I found myself coming home and it's desolate it's dormant I'm by myself I'm all alone and I don't have the things that I used to have I don't have the blessings I used to have I don't have the favor I used to have there's depression sitting in the people there's people that are oppressed have no business being oppressed but they're all pressed because the devil has come and has stolen their Joy they've stolen their hope he he's stolen peace right from them and here they are and they can't get back up again and they're weeping in a way that they cannot even weep no longer and I just believe this is well when the Bible talks about it uh that they came and like I came and stole the children I I think to myself well that's our future well when they burn down the city well that's my past that was what I built that was my reputation that was my business that was everything that I put my time into do you see what the devil's doing here that it was trying to take the identity the past and he's also trying to take their future he's trying to take everything from them he knows if I can make them forget who they are and forget where they're headed then I can make them forget whose they are let me help somebody today because I believe there's people sitting on pews today that have the Holy Ghost of living inside of them they've been baptized they've been buried in the name of Jesus Christ for their mission their sins but they just don't remember who they are let me identify your identity today look with me in Romans chapter 6 and I'm going to move but it's going to be on the on the screen but Romans chapter 6 and 3 says no he not there's so many of us as we're baptized into Jesus Christ we're baptized into his death you see it right there who were baptized into Jesus Christ first forces therefore we are buried with him and baptism into death that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father even so we also should walk in the newness of life when we are baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins the Bible says we are baptized into Christ you follow that we are in Christ try to picture us I know this is a spiritual thing but try to picture this with me we are in Christ second Corinthians 5 17. therefore If any man be in Christ he is a new creature all things are passed away behold all things are become new but but here here's where it gets even better because First Corinthians 6 19 says what know ye not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you watch this right here because we've already been talking about we're baptized into Christ we are in Christ but now it's saying that the spirit of God if you've been given the Holy Ghost if you've been born of the spirit now the sudden the spirit of God is inside of us so not only are we in Jesus but Jesus is also in US oh yeah Colossians 1 27 to whom God would make known that is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles which is Christ in you the hope of glory and he Gentiles with the Holy Ghost in This Place today any Gentiles with the Holy Ghost listen the mystery was revealed when the Holy Ghost was poured out when Jesus said I want to be inside of every man not just to the Jews but to the Samaritans and to the Gentiles unto your sons and your daughters into your maid service in your mail service he said my spirit will be poured into you water baptism puts us into Jesus and spirit baptism puts Jesus into us and that becomes our identity Jesus come on Jesus becomes our identity come on you follow that Jesus is all we need Jesus is everything we are Jesus is our hope he's our answer whatever we need is found in the name of Jesus even in the person of Jesus all the godhead is in him bodily no I'm so thankful to know who I am I'm so thankful to know whose I am because when I know who I am it keeps me from doing things that the flesh would cause me to do it causes me to be one to be righteous and and want to be holy and want to be acceptable unto the Lord it causes me to be a man who can lift up holy hands without fear without wrath without doubting I'm so thankful that I know who I am if you're thankful why don't you clap your hands if you've been born of the water and of the spirit why don't you give God praise for a moment I want you to say Canada I know who I am I'm called by your name oh I've been adopted into your kingdom I've been adopted in your family ah I am a child of the Lord and He Lives Within Me if you've not been born of the water in the spirit today listen I'm going to give you an opportunity later on this service we're going to have an altar call I promise you there's nothing that compares with being born of the water and of the spirit but let me read on first thing let me say this first thing Satan wants to do is devour Us by stealing our identity but let me tell you what the next thing he wants to do in verse 4 look with me it's first Samuel 34. then David and the people with with him have left lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more power to weep let me tell you something if we look around us at our society that we live in if we just watch the news or or read the news in a newspaper we are going to be overcome if we let ourselves overcome by the Weeping of this Society I'm talking we we're reading and seeing about teenage bullying and young people commit suicide because they got bullied online uh there's career peer pressure there's depression and there's Eating Disorders we're reading about there's addictions and and all kinds of gender confusion even in the elementary school students there's there's child suicide happening there's racism and mass killings and and gang shooties people are shooting up cars as little kids getting shot up on corners of blocks and inside of supermarkets it's crazy and if we focus on the society that we've inherited I promise you we become a weeping generation and we're gonna weep until we have no more power to weep speaking of speaking of these these latest news these uh the latest news topics don't you understand the negativity is the new narcotic negativity is is the new narcotic it really is if you think about it people man people they pull their phones out first thing in the morning get on get on their favorite news app and they want to see what happened and then the problem with negativity is this you begin to uh it's addictive it really is you you become to watch and say oh there was a factory explosion and of course the news they call it there was 15 victims well to me a victim sounds like somebody died but but then they'll they'll later they'll later report that the 15 people are in the hospital and they're recovering the hospital and and and and something about the human mind in a weeping generation that loves to fear in their mind they're like well scroll to the next news because nobody died in that one so oh somebody drove a truck through a parade how many died Obama went off in the city how many died it's it's a narcotic negative news it's it's a narcotic of this day negativity it's bad news bias that's what that's called I would rather read about bad news than good news and you can find this because because news stations and reporters May they'll they will report everything negative they can find brother John Stone but when they find out that something turned around if there's low numbers there are now numbers that are raising or or you remember back in the covert days you know remember boy they're putting stuff out every day how horrible the numbers were but they shouldn't talk about it when the numbers came down yeah it's a bias it's bad news bias but we can't blame it on them you know why we can't blame it on them because it's exactly what people are looking for they're giving people what they want because people love to live in a society of fear when they don't know what's about to happen it just it feels good to fear it feels good to see all the negative it feels gonna I mean you you would think you would think the news would sell better if it was positive and uplifting that's what I would think I would think if you told me some enlightening things about about our state about our city if you told me some great things about our government and aligning things enlightening things about our economy you would think that that was selling people would would read the paper and uh put their coffee down with a big smile and walk out and man it's a good day today but that's not what people are looking for people want to see the negative and here's the problem because the church a church the church world can get involved in and we can become nothing more than a self-help program for people who enjoy fear even First Apostolic church if we're not careful can be like the mainstream churches of America and we can start a program for every issue we face oh yeah we could come and cry together and weep together over losses and mistakes over addictions that we face but that is not the God what God intended for his church let me say that again that is not what God intended for his church the Bible says that weeping may endure for a night but joy ought to come in the morning time let me tell you something we can't stop our momentum here at First Apostolic Church to start a six-week program on how to overcome something when God has said I'm not looking for a depressed forlorn Pride I'm looking for a bride that is a church triumphant thank you a church that can rise up out of the ashes the church who the devil can come against the Gates of Hell could come against but will never defeat the church look at the end of verse number six but David the Bible says encourage himself in the Lord his God don't misread that God did not encourage David the Bible says that David encouraged himself it's time for the people of God to get up wipe away tears brush ashes off our clothing and put on our Holy Ghost ephod of praise that's the difference between a true sin of God is someone who's just playing the part when you can praise God in the good times but you can also praise God in the worst of times you can praise God when your marriage is at the very Peak and you can you can worship God when your marriage is at Rock Bottom you can worship God when your kids are doing right and you can worship God when all hell is breaking loose at home my God if you can put on your worship he fought in the bad times that's what describes a true worshiper encourage yourself sometimes sometimes you just gotta preach to yourself sometimes you just gotta get up in a mirror I don't care how foolish it looks you just gotta point at your own nose in that mirror and say I will not die in my dilemma I will not be in despair in my dilemma I don't care what's been stolen from me I will not give up I will not give in Chad Erickson look at me straight in the face you will rise again I will not be defeated my God is more powerful than this present Society verse six I'll read again David was greatly distressed for the people spake of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved every man for his sons and for his daughters my God we're going to Stone the man of God because obviously that's the problem oh isn't that just like the devil to get our minds off of what he's done get our minds off of what he's stolen and to get our focus on internal well it must be the pastor it must be the student Pastor it must be the children it must be the school it has to be the school that's where the issue is found it must be in the youth group the students of the youth group is is probably them they're they're not friendly they're they're not welcoming those those kids are not living right those they're using and what the devil just love it if we forgot what the enemy was and we started to look inside and start to fight one with another I've seen it happen now now the great thing is I don't see it happen in this church I don't I don't hear that negativity in this church by many however I've heard of it before where there's so much internal there's so much internal strife that the devil doesn't even have to do a thing he steals the stuff and walks away and leaves David's men talking about stoning them we're just going to kill we're just going to kill the man of God we're going to kill this giant killer we're going to kill this David who does he think he is to leave nothing and bringing us into battle when our own wives and children are protected and David Hall this is where David the Bible says I begin to encourage himself oh verse 7 and David said to abiath are the priest oh he said bring me thither the ephod he said priest I need the praise garment verse 8 says and David inquire to the Lord saying shall I pursue after this troop shall I overtake them and he answered him pursue for Thou shalt surely overtake them and without fail recover all now listen I've read this verse I'll preach this verse so many times and it's always confused me just a little bit because I'm thinking to myself why in the world does David have to ask God if he ought to pursue his wife and kids I mean come on yeah if you're like me I say I'm going to pursue them and if they kill me listen I can't just think to my brother Ben I just can't think that my wife and kids are in some Camp of some enemy somewhere Oh no you're gonna have to take me too but that's not what David was doing David was not saying God can I go he was simply saying God I need you to give me the authority to have power over the enemy oh yeah he said he said I want you God to tell me that you've got my back I believe David was going one way or the other but David was saying I need Authority I need the power of God to be on my side because if I pursue after this enemy and I go into this campaign I want to know that God is on my team and God's power is with me matter of fact Luke 10 and 19 says behold I give unto you power to tread upon serpents and upon scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means or hurts you what kind of power is he talking about will in Acts chapter 1 verse 8 it tells you what the power is but ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you oh and it's not talking about power as in muscle it's how my power is in Authority he says greater is he that is within you that's the authority of the Holy Ghost that's inside of you then he that is within this world we don't have to fear Satan we don't have to fear an enemy of our spirit of our soul because God has given us Authority then whatever we do wherever we go whatever song We tread upon he said I will go before you you may be seated I I wasn't I was in Manila Manila Philippines the city of Manila Philippines is a massive I've been there a few times but the very first time I was there it was the very first time I'd ever experienced uh crazy traffic now we think here in America we have crazy traffic let me tell you something Manila was out of control number one the region uh what all I was doing all I was doing was going from the international airport is about a two-mile bus ride a shuttle ride to the to the domestic airport I was I was I came in from America I was fixing to go to the domestic airport I was gonna fly to another Island where we were I was preaching a general conference there and they put me on a bus and everything was great it was a nice bus brother Heidi was it was a man it was it was a modern bus I'm not talking about it wasn't a jeepney some of y'all been on Jeep knees and those three three wheeled 1970s things they're still using over there it wasn't like that this was like this was like a big but it wasn't just a bus it was a bus that had the accordion thing in between it and then it had a whole other bus behind it you say no I don't know it probably said probably said 100 100 people and I'm thinking to myself you know surely I'll be safe I'll be safe in this bus because I already looked out I saw the traffic I knew we were getting in trouble so here we are man they take us out there's no stop lights there's no stop signs I mean I mean Manila has millions of people and everybody is either on a jeepney in a bus or on a bike and it's it's Mass confusion like you've never seen Mass confusion we went into this we went into this this this traffic circle hey man I'm thinking to myself how in the world this bus this bus is like a hundred feet long how are we gonna get into this traffic circle and that bus just went man you had bikes bikes swerving out of the way that bus just went just took took right into that traffic circle I thought oh this is good okay man we would come in what blew my mind is is the bus was packed full of people and and I was the last one on which meant that I was like in the front I was standing in the stairs holding on the round I'ma stay in the place where you're not supposed to stand but they don't have any laws over there so I'm holding on I'm holding on for dear life and I realized right away that I was in a bad place but but I'm Holding On and the windshield is right here in front of me you know straight flat windshield going across and when I say when we would pull up behind another bus like I'm talking like that like like if if I I could have knocked on the glass and the other bus would have thought I was knocking on their window that's where we were I mean it was crazy but but blew my mind was we were coming around this traffic circle there was one little 95 pound Filipino woman out there and she was wearing a uniform that had a badge on it and she had this little white gloves on and it blew my mind because whatever those little white gloves gestured that's what happened and I'm thinking to myself wait a minute I'm in a I'm in about a five ton bus loaded up with a hundred people and this little 95 pound woman is telling this bus driver where to drive he gonna be able to drive wherever he wants to drive but the authority that that woman that wasn't power she had oh believe me she didn't have no power a good gust of wind would have blew her over she had no power however the authority that was in that badge the authority of her government gave her the power gave her the authority to tell the bus that I was in you're gonna stop or you're gonna go or you're gonna come she had all authority in her hand she had every bit of authority that was in the government of the Philippines how is that so because if that bust would not have stopped and that driver would have went to court it would not have been that driver against that little 95 pound officer it would have been their driver against the government of the Philippines and God simply says to you and I it's not about who you are and what you can do and how much you've done it doesn't even matter what your name is it doesn't even matter what your history is if you have my spirit living inside of you that's like wearing a badge that's like saying devil come what may bring it on because I've got Authority and I've Got The Power of God to resist you and cause you to flee David now listen David wasn't filled with the Holy Ghost he didn't have the Holy Ghost the Bible says that the spirit of God rested upon him his life it wasn't inside of him like you and I have and so David had an inquire of the lord we don't have to inquire other Lord for power if you've been given the Holy Ghost if you've been baptized with the Holy Ghost you've got that power inside of you you don't have to ask God if he's for you he's all ready for you but David had to ask because the spirit of God was not inside of him and so he said what what would I do where did I go what do you want to do do I pursue after them if I pursue after them what's gonna happen and God gave him what he was longing to hear God said I've got your back stop crying stop moaning stop doubting he said pursue after the enemy and you're gonna recover everything that you've lost I believe we're going to have a restoration Revival in this place today I do I I really do I know I'm talking about wives and kids and some of you need to have your wives and kids restored to you but maybe maybe it's a financial thing maybe it's maybe it's a spiritual thing maybe you're not where you used to be maybe you used to be here but you kind of found yourself about right here but that's not what makes you what would make you satisfied would be to be a backup around here you know uh restoration Revival and letting them interject something right here because you know you can't revive something that's ever been alive I'm gonna say it again we're talking about Revival you can't revive something that has never lived Revival is all about something that was once alive coming back to life again it's called Reviving or or in the church in the spiritual we call it Revival if your spirit has never been alive you can't have Revival and listen I'm so thankful for the spiritual hunger and the Holy Ghost outpouring that's been taking place around our country I hope you're thankful for that that's a beautiful thing matter of fact it wasn't a few weeks ago that I preached a message I said God help us to get this Holy Ghost up a room experience out of these four walls and Lord I wanted to get into every denomination you remember me preaching there oh yeah and now listen I'm not I didn't prophesy that to come I'm not telling you I prophesied anything to happen I'm just saying I'm believing that we are the church and although we are the church the Holy Ghost has got to be poured out outside of these walls and I'm thankful for the outpouring but you can't call something a Revival if it's never been alive follow me with this they're uh and they're calling they're calling this uh we were having a Revival at this college and this secular College in this Christian college and we're having Revival whatever no no no you can't revive something that's never been alive the only way to have something alive is the spirit within you has got to be made alive and the only way that your spirit is Made Alive is by receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost so now there has been an outpouring oh yes there has there's been a beautiful out Point there's been a hunger and let me say right here today I'm for it don't get me wrong I'm for the outpouring but oh my God we are in a church house today where we have that outpouring every single service I don't have to go up into Kentucky to find out what the spirit of God feels like we have that every single service I have people ask me saying are you going up there I don't have to go out there I know what an outpouring feels like I've experienced weekly when an Alpine feels like I'm thankful that they're feeling what we've been feeling I'm thankful the Holy Ghost has fallen on them like it's been falling on us I'm thankful for the outpouring I'm thankful for a spiritual awakening I believe it for Revelation to hit the United States of America but again you may be seated you can't revive what is never lived so I say today if you don't have the Holy Ghost you gotta get it straight from the words of Jesus straight from the mouth of Jesus himself he told Nicodemus you've got to be born again of the water and of the spirit so you can't see the kingdom you can't enter the kingdom you can't have anything to do with my kingdom unless you're born of these two things there's got to be a burial Jesus you've got to be born into Christ and then there's got to be a resurrection there's gonna be a spirit that infills you and that's Christ in us it's our hope of glory but here we have Revival today and I believe there's a hunger in this place today that just like David if you will pursue after what you've lost there's going to be a restoration happening in your life for Revival is going to take place in your life but I've got to move quickly and me fast forward David and his men come they come over the next Horizon and they see the enemy watch this they see the enemy partying with their stuff look at first Samuel 30 16. because they're not only partying with their stuff but they're partying with the stuff they're storing from every other city and every other neighboring country that they've gone in and raided they've taken everybody's stuff and they've got it if and up into one Valley and they oh let's read about it and when he had brought him down behold they were drinking here all the enemy are in the valley they're drinking eating and drinking dancing because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines and Alta of the land of Judah oh you want to mess up hills party if you want to mess up hell's party you got to do what David did and you got to go in and crash the party ah listen I'm not gonna oh there comes a certain time you know what thank God for social media thank God for Facebook but if you go to Facebook before you go to God if you get if you get on Instagram and ask a bunch of questions on how you know you know tell me how I can fix this or tell me how I could do that dear Lord David doesn't look he saw the enemy partying with his stuff it made him mad he had already been told by God that he had God's authority to go in and win the battle David wasn't going to cry wasn't going to pout he wasn't going to be afraid he thought I've got him exactly where I want him a bunch of drunk people partying with my stuff yeah it reminds me of a song our choir loves to sing around here it goes like this and says what about your family and all your self-esteem and your destiny do you want that what about the joy you tasted and the time you wasted do you want it back what about your place in God and all your faith in God even the ways of God do you want that what about your hopes and dreams and your communities and your kids and teens y'all remember this song it says devil you may have thought you won the last round you may have laughed cause I almost fell down maybe you think I give up easy but it's not over I've got more in me you thought I stopped you thought I sat down but I am standing you made me mad now you've got some things I I think you owe me I've come to get back everything that you stole all back they say I want it all back first two I like first two is this you hit me hard I should be knocked out things I've been through don't even want to talk about you cross the line you violated me I want revenge I want everything from a to z then it said the battle's not mine the battle is the Lord's in the name of Jesus I'm taking it by force because I want it all back but then my favorite part of the song came up because we began to chant if you only knew what I was gonna be after the storm you wouldn't have even bothered me if you only knew what I was gonna be after the storm you would oh yes now I'm stronger I've got more power I'm a little bit wiser I've got more strength I've got anointing I've got a favor I'm standing I want it all back does anybody feel like that in this place today hey I want it back hey I want it back I'm not gonna give up easy I'm not gonna turn my head a defeater I'm coming after my stuff if you're not understanding stand your peter I've run out of time listen Satan desires to steal your identity and he desires to steal your eternity he's read the back of the same book we've read he knows what his eternity is and he knows what your eternity is and he says if I can steal their eternity if I could get them to go to the same place I'm going and I can get them to go to the same place then my demons are going he's a thief he's a robber but he just doesn't understand what he's up against because we're going to claim back some stuff in the altar this morning I gotta finish this story in your hearing these are my last scriptures I'm going to read Verse 18 says and David oh yeah recovered all the Hamlet Heights had carried away and David he rescued his two wives and watch this right here there was nothing lacking to them I hope you can read into that neither shall small nor great neither Sons nor daughters neither spoil nor anything that had taken them David recovered it all but look at verse 20. and so David took all the flocks and the hurts which they draved before those other cattle and said this is David's spoil you see here here's how God works you go after the enemy and take back what was yours I just believe that you're gonna recover more than you went after I believe in this place somebody is gonna you're gonna try to find the joy that was soaring from you and while you're searching for Joy I believe God says I'm not only going to give you your joy back I'm gonna give you love back I'm gonna give you a peace back I matter of fact patience and kindness and long suffering and gentleness and self-control I'm gonna give you hope I'm gonna give you your health back you see what God did here God said because you were willing to take my authority and chase after pursue after the enemy because you are willing to no matter at what cost whatever because you were willing God said I'm not only going to give you back what was yours and what you lost I'm gonna give you back everything that every other Kingdom Lost David didn't go returning those things back to those Philistine cities he said thanks being the god this belongs to David I'll be swimming this place I wish you would have enough hope when you begin to pray in this altar that you would say oh my God lord I know Lord God there's things that I I know that I lack and I know I need a Revival in but God I wish you restore to me things Lord God that I can't even dream of for his ways are not our ways his thoughts are not our thoughts what we feel we need for each other and what we feel we need for ourselves is not necessarily what God wants to give us I believe he's a god of more than enough he's a god of more than enough I wish somebody in this house today I believe there's gonna be two types of people are going to come to this altar today there's gonna be a person that's never received the gift of the Holy Ghost and we're gonna pray with you we're gonna believe with you that the spirit of God will be born into you and we're gonna believe that you're gonna make an obedient you're gonna be obedient to the word of God and you're gonna be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus for the remission your sins we're going to believe for that and I believe that that can happen I believe that will happen today but I also believe there is a Congregation of people that are under the sound of my voice they can hear these words that are coming from my mouth and I believe you're in a life in a state maybe even in a season where you're saying God I just need a Revival of restoration God I just need you to revive some things back into my life again I'm not calling you a sinner I'm not calling you somebody who's falling away from God I'm just calling up people who say God I want more of you I want you to revive me Lord God bring me back take me back to my first love is there anybody in the house I open these altars is there anybody in the house because they can't take me back oh take me back when I first believed take me back when I head home take me back when I have peace of mind take me back when I believe Lord God that you could do anything for me come on the Holy Ghost is moving in this place right now the Holy Ghost wants to minister to somebody in this place huh oh come on you gotta stand up though you gotta believe that God is for you you gotta believe that you're here for Revival he's looking for you to pursue and recover pursue and recover all if you only knew what I was gonna be after the storm devil you sure wouldn't have bothered me if you would have realized that I was coming after you you sure would have stolen from me devil if you want to realize that I wasn't just gonna Bend I wasn't just gonna break but I'm gonna stand up and retrieve everything back to what's been stolen come on come on come on that's right the Holy Ghost is moving Holy Ghost what's the move on you right here Holy Ghost wants to move through you right here yeah come on that's right come on cry out right now come on cry out right now in Jesus name come on if you've never experienced the gift of the Holy Ghost it's the greatest thing you could ever imagine is Jesus living inside of you it gives you a brand new identity it gives you a brand new identity it gives you a newness of Life hey he wants to walk and talk with you he wants to minister to you daily he wants to live inside of you make your party the Temple of the Holy Ghost oh victory away from me Jesus is here to do things like Little Things I wish you'd find somebody I wish you'd find somebody around you just put your arm around and begin to pray for one another come on we need one another David didn't do this alone he had this man to go in with him into the camp we gotta have one another we're gonna retrieve we're gonna recover everything that's been stolen but we gotta do it as a trust family we got to do it as an army of Believers as an army of God oh restore restore unto me restore unto me come on let there be a prayer restore under the church restore unto your kingdom oh God the greatest fires of Revival we've ever had restore unto us all right yeah of course I'm beginning to break in here so this began to break in here Southern's begin to break come on you gotta pray through it you gotta pray through it hey there's freedom I feel freedom in the house so I feel freedom here I'm coming out I can't stay here no longer out of my way there's healing in the house let everything come alive welcome to come foreign love you I'm running out of space stronghold this time that you break cause there's Freedom there's Freedom here I'm running out of the grave I'm running out of the grave there's free places Christmas alive let them things is resurrection power my fear is breaking out again his grace hello everybody this is foreign come alive there's people praying all across this place still there is a Revival in this place right now a spirit of restoration a refreshing a renewing maybe you've been in the church for 40 years we all need a a fresh Revival a fresh renewing a fresh it's a new year it's a new level of commitment there will need to revive some things I I can't help but think of the story of The Prodigal Son some of us whether intentional or unintentional we found ourselves somewhere other than the father's house maybe even the older brother being in the house but not really involved in the father's business but I I just it kept resonating in my mind really all weekend that he's running to you through the message through everything that's happened this morning he's running to you and the road home the road of Revival coming back to the house is shorter than wherever you found yourself out because there is a savior that is after you this morning don't let the devil tell you that you're not worthy or there's no reason to try there's no reason to even apply this message no no matter where you find yourself your devil may have convinced you to not even walk up to the front and I'll try to apply that I wish you'd lift your hands right now because there is Revival for any and everybody in this place for whatever you need don't don't listen to that lie this morning lift up your voice for just another moment could we church and say God I'll revive that commitment revive that level of oh I want to live for you with all my heart I want to live with you and for you with all the passion inside of me oh God oh I feel its presence oh there's so many people maybe reach across and grab the hand of somebody next to you God revive us as a church renew us as a church refresh us as a church and nobody's too far let there be a Revival let there be a renewing o God for more of you God we need more of you oh God we need more of you God we need more of you in this place today Lord we need more of you Lord I Thank You for Your word this morning God I thank you for your word this morning God let us hide it in our hearts let us apply it to our hearts Lord let it get it in our minds that God oh there's such a presence of the Holy Ghost here come on close your eyes for just another moment before we're dismissed let no man let no woman let in not anybody miss an opportunity this morning if you feel the need the urge to be baptized today we can baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins the Lord can bring you back to life Lord I Thank You for Your Presence I thank you for your word this morning oh we bless your name come on church if you're thankful for the word of God if you're thankful for what you felt could you just clap your hands to him this morning God we praise you future those that are praying can continue to pray and we are we are looking forward to just a day full of being with God's people and being in God's presence if you are a trendsetter we want to dismiss you uh before everybody gets to crossing paths and going all the directions if you're a trendsetter if you want to go ahead now
