praise the lord everyone what a beautiful spirit of the lord we have felt in this place tonight already and i just believe that the word of god is going to cap off a great day in the lord today have we had a great day amen i believe we're going to have a great week we have coming up on thursday evening and friday evening we are in revival we are in revival very excited about revival now we call a youth revival but we we invite the whole church because it it might be uh it might be directed a little bit towards our youth but i promise every single one of us need revival amen every single one of us need revival brother paul mcgee one of the greatest preachers in pentecost orator wordsmith an anointed preacher he's going to be coming he'll be here thursday and friday evening if you can be here please get here i promise you will not be disappointed by what is preached from behind this pulpit and your life will be blessed amen turn with me to john chapter 4 in verse 20. do you want to welcome once again pastor carpenter has already welcomed our guest i too want to welcome you thank you for worshiping with us good to see pastor camblic so good to have you he comes on sunday nights every once in a while kind of kind of sneaks in when he can get away and we're always glad to have you pastor with us here put your hands together one more time i know you're holding your bibles and you're holding your place but kind of bang they call us bible thumpers or something i don't know what they call us but maybe that's why right there uh preachers make you clap your hands and you're holding your bible john 4 and 20 says our fathers worshipped in this mountain and ye say that in jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship and jesus saith unto the woman at the well believe me the hour cometh when ye shall neither in this mountain nor yet at jerusalem worship the father ye worship ye know not what we know what we worship for salvation is of the jews but the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father seeketh such to worship him i'm going to say some pretty uh basic statements here that you ought to know already but it's going to go along with what i'm going to preach but we all have been created to worship verse 22 jesus tells the woman the will ye worship you know not what worshiper then he says he goes on to say we know what we worship and i just want to derive my title from these two statements that jesus made that i believe we already understand but i just want to bring it home tonight simply this everybody worships something each one of us worship something that that's that's how deep it's going to get tonight we thank god we've already worshiped we've already praised and we can just enjoy the word and not get too deep tonight can somebody say amen let's pray together father we love you lord i'm so thankful for the praise and worship that's gone up and just as pastor said lord the glory cloud opened up and rain began to fall in this house lord god it fell strong upon us lord all throughout the worship service the praises went up in the glory came down and come on somebody let's thank the lord right now through our praise lord we thank you already lord in advance and lord we thank you for what you've already done father we just believe tonight lord god is the worshipers lord god as the worshipers arise in this place lord god i pray that the father would find what he is looking for in this room tonight in jesus name we pray and somebody shout amen and you may be seated in jesus name brother holland if i could have just a little bit more monitor i felt good at the beginning i feel like i lost some as we kind of went on there hallelujah i i just want to just kind of swing the door of my message wide open and kind of just step step right in and just simply say you are a worshiper i told you it's going to get deep i am a worshiper whether we like it or not we are worshipers it's what was put into our dna when we were born on this earth nothing we can do about it you can't choose to be a worshiper matter of fact if you choose not to worship you're already making a choice because you're gonna worship something it's in our programming the question simply is that i've come to ask tonight who or what are we worshiping who are we trying to please who are we following after who are we putting our trust in who are we putting our faith in because that's the definition of worship and so we have satan from the beginning of this world that we call earth he had a plan to keep you and i in all humanity worshiping anything but god you see that all throughout the pages of your bible it is satan's plan to keep people worshiping anything but god we come into the 21st century and probably for the last century uh there's been people worshiping sports and tv shows and and music and clothing lines and technology and we could go on and on of things that people follow after and put their trust in and and whatever takes up the majority of our time is what we worship i'm not preaching against these things nothing wrong with sports there's uh nothing wrong with with enjoying uh technology or or enjoying clothing lines and purchasing clothes uh that's a great hobby that some of you ladies like to do and it's killing us but it's a good hobby it's okay it's all right i get it i see it i get it and i'm thankful for good apostolic women who know how to dress i'm thankful for that but only if you have prioritized your interests and not allowed them to become idols because god was disappointed by his people all throughout the old testament he had to threaten them and command them and warn them look with me in exodus 20 it's going to be on the screen verse 2 it says i am the lord thy god which have brought thee out of the land of egypt out of the house of bondage thou shall have no other gods before me thou shall not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor watch this right here nor serve them for i the lord thy god am a jealous god visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments in deuteronomy chapter 12 30 goes on to say take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them after that they be destroyed from before thee and that thou inquire not after their god saying how did these nations serve their gods even so will i do likewise i got one more for you because i really want to make sure this is driven home exodus 34 and 12 says take heed thyself lest thou make a covenant with inhabitants of the land wither thou goest lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee be or but ye shall destroy their altars break their images and cut down their groves for thou shalt worship no other god for the lord whose name is jealous is a jealous god somebody shout him in what you worship will determine what you serve i'm going to say that again and you're going to hear me say this many more times what you worship will determine what you serve i did a little word study of the word of god and the word worshipping and the word worshiper or worshiping are recorded over 270 times in the word of god worship is the absolute theme of the entire word of god and how many know that both heaven and hell are after the very same thing if hell can get the child of god to lose their identity they will lose focus on who they're supposed to be worshipping let me show you how this works and in luke chapter 4 verse 3 the bible says and the devil said unto him if thou be the son of god command this stone that it be made bread the devil did not say since thou be the son of god command the stone he said if thou be the son of god satan knew full well exactly who jesus was in the wilderness when he began to tempt him uh make make no doubt about it satan knew exactly who jesus was no questions about it for just a few hours earlier a voice was heard from heaven saying this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased satan knew who jesus was but he also knew if he could get him to question his identity even if just for a moment he could take the upper hand we do stupid things we we do ignorant things when we forget who we are even if just for a moment we forget who we are that we are children of the one and only king of kings and lord of lords if we forget that we're king's kids and and if we forget our identity as we're in town or forget our identity and when we are at the house or at school or at work we just do the dumbest things because when we fail to understand exactly who we are we're gonna fail to worship our god we end up worshiping dumb idols church family we must remember who we are strong tower students you got to remember who you are because what you worship will determine what you serve if you worship hollywood and movie stars you're going to end up serving what they worship if you worship nashville in secular music you're going to end up serving what they worship if you worship sports and athletes you're going to end up serving what they worship your emotions are going to rise and fall when your favorite team wins or your favorite team there's churches all over america who have bad services on sunday because their football team lost on saturday thank god this is not one of those churches have bad sundays all the time when their high-ranking basketball team gets knocked out of the finals or when their basketball team doesn't even make the finals have bad services because their emotions rise and fall on their item the very thing they worship their emotions it allows them to take control of their emotions your style of dress is gonna reflect the movie star and you're gonna promote the same lifestyle that she's living your hormones are are going to respond to secular music you listen to and you're going to end up serving the same gods that are they're selling you on your favorite streaming platform well i'm just going to preach for the way it's okay if you worship your way out i don't need i don't even need a response because what you worship will determine what you serve moms and dads if we're having issues with our teenagers we gotta check the playlist we gotta check phones we gotta check and see what movies are being watched we gotta check and see what tv shows what apps what websites it's going to be one of these type of messages because i'm stirred up by what i'm seeing and what i'm feeling not in this church but in society as a whole it scared me to death as a parent listen i'm so thankful i grew up when there was no such thing as a cell phone we're restricted listen this is kind of funny but but but i went with it anyways but we're restricting our oh i'm using a james stevens word we're restricting our kids from using cell phones just because something's going on and i told i told windsor kid i said she was complaining i said windsor i said you're nine years old i said i didn't have a cell phone until i was 20. and then i felt bad i said they weren't invented until i was 20. but i can't imagine growing up with a device that could take me anywhere on the world wide web i can't imagine growing up with with what tv shows and movies that are coming out today i thank god that i grew up in the 70s 80s and 90s i thank god i thank my god above i don't know if i'd be here today listen if our young people can make it through their teenage years in their young 20 years and still be in church moms and dads we got a lot to celebrate because this world is trying to pull them in satan is trying to get them to worship anything but god he's trying to put all kinds of idols in front of them in front of their faces and trying to pull them and get them to fall and to fail if your child is sitting on a pew tonight you ought to celebrate i'm celebrating i'm celebrating because i got a seven-year-old a nine-year-old and a fourteen-year-old and i just believe in it ten years from now i'm still going to have all three sitting on the pew because we're living in perilous times what you worship will determine what you serve because everybody worships something we got to get our heads out of the sand and realize that if we don't fight against the enemy our kings are going to lose their identity they will become desensitized and they will become politically correct it won't matter what god's word says about sin if we're not careful we're going to raise a generation they would choose to offend god than to offend one of their peers there's an enemy raising its ugly head up in washington right now it's called the equality act and it sounds harmless from its title it even sounds like good legislation but i'm here to warn you in this case if you haven't heard about it in the details it's a threat to you it's a threat to me it's a threat to your kids it's a threat to my kids and it's a threat to this church and let me put a little disclaimer right here on my whole message i i want to be the first one to tell you there's not a racial bone in my body there's not a racial bone in pastor carpenter or our whole pastoral staff's body we want equal liberties equal rights equal respect to all people do you hear me no matter male female red yellow black or white we believe that everybody's equal everybody deserve to be treated good i don't want you thinking i'm up here trying to say that one one type of person deserves something that another one doesn't i'm not saying that but we better get our heads up out of the sand and realize there's some stuff going on in washington right now that's gonna mess us up if we don't begin to fight against it you may be seated this equality act is not about gender equality or race equality we strongly believe in those but washington has an agenda and is trying their best to pass a law that says that we have to accept sin and not speak against sin and that's a threat i don't believe any group of people no matter how sinful their lifestyle should be hated or treated unkind that's not right and that's what i'm not preaching right now however to try to force me to accept their lifestyle and agree with their lifestyle and act like nothing is wrong with their lifestyle i'm sorry that's just not gonna happen i'm doing something with this i promise we've been preaching against sin in this pulpit for 40 years now in a law in washington is not going to stop us listen we better get ready to fight we're going to have to stand up for this world word like never before we're going to have to make a stand we got to be ready to defend our families and defend our church you may be seated the bible talks about being persecuted for his name's sake in church family i'm just afraid we might be getting ready to find out exactly what that means it's big news right now the the cancel culture movement if you say something that somebody else doesn't agree with they cancel you they unfriend you unfollow you uninvite you cancel your tv show they cancel you ask dr seuss about it go back in your history or they go back in and see what you believe 30 years ago and they they dig out stuff and pull stuff out and they they cancel you and they say we no longer follow you we no one no no longer watch you on our television we no longer want you on our social media and they cancel you and i want you to know the apostolic movement we better get ready to be canceled by the cancer culture movement because i have no doubt at all that we're going to be canceled there's going to be a day i hate to say it i i i i i i i hate to prophesy the dreadful things but there's going to come a day when we're going to probably get a phone call from the television station that says you know it's just a conflict of interest that your church is on our station get ready for facebook to all the sudden drop our account what are we going to do brother tell me broom what are we going to do are we going to just cower down and say well we got too many we got too many friends and too many followers and and we got to watch what we preach from this paul but because somebody that's watching online might disagree and and it might offend somebody listen the word of god is the word of god we gotta preach it like it is i'm not gonna end my personal preferences i'm not gonna end my personal convictions but i gotta preach what's black and white in this book and what's red listen i'm okay with it you maybe see that john 12 42 says nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him but because of the pharisees because of the other wing they did not confess him lest they should be put out of the synagogue canceled them people that should have been won to jesus christ i'm talking about people that should have been baptized in jesus name for the remission of their sins people that should have been filled with his holy ghost after the day of pentecost they canceled themselves out of the life of eternity with jesus christ because they were worried about what other people were saying about them and they're worried about being cancelled by other people so they canceled themselves out of the kingdom my god y'all take us off tv take us off the internet take us take our tax exempt status away kick us out of the synagogue i am not ashamed of the gospel of jesus christ you preached about it this morning pastor we will not stop preaching the gospel no matter who it offends it's the word of god luke 9 26 says for whosoever shall be ashamed of me and my words of him shall the son of man be ashamed come on somebody we got to get in this with both feet and fight with all we have and take a stand against a culture who's trying to cancel out truth somebody clap your hands if you agree with me and i know you do you maybe see the i got some stuff that's even crazier than that i believe the enemy is too wise to believe that we're going to bow down to his devices so i believe that he's going to attack us through our children it's going to be such a slow fade it's going to be even we're going to have a hard time even realizing it i believe that hollywood is going to get on board with washington and start making movies where alternate lifestyles sinful lifestyles are accepted as normal in the films children are gonna be raised by two dads or two moms and it's gonna be the new normal what you're saying it's already happening i believe tv shows and sitcoms and disney teen shows are gonna have school kids that identify better with the opposite gender and it's going to become the new norm it's already happening i believe nashville is going to start writing songs about the lgbtz why or whatever it is community and they're going to do their best to get those songs high up in the charts wait this is already happening so you're telling me that the agenda of hell has already taken place oh the devil knows we're born to be worshippers we are bred it's in our dna to be worshippers and he's gonna find us something to worship and if we don't make the right choice we're gonna go to default and default is worshipping anything but god enemies after our children enemy is trying to desensitize them and they don't even realize it because it's all they've ever known come on moms and dads we grew up in the well somebody else 50 60s 70s 80s 90s we grew up before the 2000s i remember walking in the mall and seeing two males or two females holding hands and everybody in the mall stopped and kind of turned around and couldn't believe what they were seeing it ain't like that no more our kids will walk through the mall and see two guys holding hands and they won't even blink they wouldn't they don't even hardly notice it because it's a culture that's been desensitized every aspect of the culture hollywood nashville new york washington every every city that plays a role in society and in our culture are conveniently working together against the god of the bible i was driving my car a couple weeks ago listening to the news on satellite radio and i was shocked to hear a news story and i'm sure many of you heard it but just in case you didn't of a christian school in new york city it was under fire by the conservatives for publishing an inclusive language guide for their students and staff i searched the web y'all and i found it wasn't easy but i found it and i printed me off a couple because i never want to forget what's in this i just want to it's 12 pages i'm not going to read all that i just highlighted a few things because i feel like you need to know what it says overview of this inclusive language guide you all ready for this the goal of this guide is to provide the community with more inclusive language that is aligned with the mission of grace church school while we recognize hateful language that promotes racism uh homophobia and other forms of discriminations are already addressed in our school handbook we also recognize that we can do more than ban hateful language we can use language to create welcoming and inclusive spaces the guide addresses ways we can remove harmful assumptions from the way we interact with each other for instance gender subheading gender says using gender inclusive language can provide critical affirmation to students across the gender spectrum and one way to achieve this is to take gender out of text where it's unnecessary so they have here they have a they have just some some some helps here it says instead of using the term boys and girls or guys or ladies and gentlemen at grace we say people folks friends readers mathematicians so so so what they're saying right here just the case i want to make sure that you're catching this instead of a teacher getting up and saying okay boys and girls please turn to page four of your reading books they're gonna say okay friends when reading a book it says instead of when reading a book rather than using the boy girl on this page simply say the child or the person or the character instead of using pet names like like sweetheart or honey you know you know that's you know a southerner honey which please give me what does number two say honey don't don't say that don't say swear use a child's name or or say child in the blue shirt can you imagine not being able to identify gender you got a row of kids here and you can't even say young lady come on under my desk bring me that note that you're passing you can't even say that you just say a young person in the blue sweater so i i kept on reading my mind was blown i i said oh i see why why there's so much under fire with this and i kept on reading i i got to what's called families oh they have a section for families oh good let's see what they're going to say about families instead of using the term mom and dad say grown-ups folks or family instead of using the terms husband wife or boyfriend or girlfriend use spouse or partner or significant other i got a few more for you because i got a copy if y'all need this sexual orientation says it says human sexuality exists along a spectrum no idea what that means at grace church school we use inclusive language that acknowledges all orientations and identities be conscious of heteronormative assumptions such as boys or girls will be girls or boys will be boys don't use terms as boys will love those eyelashes or he's a ladies man don't say stuff like your mom and dad will make will be so proud of you okay these are all these are all orientation sexual orientation so in this situation they say sometimes if somebody were to say a boy can't marry a boy or a girl can't marry a girl i wish i was making this up consider responding with people can love and commit to whomever they please it's their choice to to marry whoever they marry or here's another one in this situation how to support people who are coming out this is given to kids thank them for choosing to tell you as they've identified you as a safe and trusting person try not to respond with i always knew or i had no idea ask them how you can continue to support their coming out process listen again i love all people there's actually a page or two that's really good on when they get into race relationships there's some really good stuff they have in here but listen my friend listen this is what's coming out this was not from a public school this was written by administration of a christian school i got to put in quotes because they ain't christian i love all people i care about all people but the devil is all about desensitizing our children and what's going to end up happening if we're not careful is it's going to cause them to feel like we their parents are a bunch of old-fashioned small-minded people when it comes to normal and accepted lifestyles in the world our next generation has got to understand that jude 4 and 4 is for them for there are certain men crept in unawares desensitized in a generation who were before of old ordained to this condemnation ungodly men turning the grace of our god into lasciviousness did i mention that the name of the school is grace we've got to have revival like we've never had it before listen i understand that i've brought a heavy spirit in here but listen we've got to open up our eyes we i've said it already we've got to get our head out of the sand if we don't realize where this culture is leading us if we don't realize where society is trying to pull us we need revival like we've never had revival before we need revival in our youth group and that's why last night they were in the altars praying until after nine o'clock at night that's why we had a revival in this morning service we had revival tonight we're going to have revival thursday and friday listen it's because we need revival like we've never needed a revival before and we need a revival of god worshipers i'm going to say it again we need a revival of god worshipers we need parents to catch the revival we need students to catch the revival we have got to understand that the father is seeking worshipers who will worship him i'm not going to take too much longer but john you maybe see that john 4 23 has always baffled me just a little until i realize that everyone is a worshiper i always thought it meant that god was looking for worshipers but that's not what it says look with me in verse 23 but the hour cometh and now is when true worshipers and that implies that there are false worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father seek as such to worship him god is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth we need a revival of truth worshipers we need a revival of spirit worshipers the devil understand what happens to people who break forth into true worship and the result of worship there's one thing that hell cannot stop and we find it in luke chapter four and i want you to watch this really close luke 4 and 7 says if thou therefore will to worship me all shall be vine that's not god speaking that's satan's speaking i'm gonna read it again if thou therefore he's talking to jesus in the wilderness if you will worship me all shall be thine see the devil was telling jesus if you'll bow down to me if you will give me homage and worship me i'll give you all the kingdoms of the world and it was not by coincidence that this passage is in the word of god for us to read today because i just believe unknowingly and unwillingly satan revealed a truth about worship very similar kind of like he opened his big mouth when he told us that god had a hedge built around job remember that we never even heard about hedges we we don't even read that in our bible and all of a sudden satan opens his big mouth and tells god god the only reason he serves you job serves you because you got a hedge and you're protecting his family and right there he opened his mouth and now we can sit back and say thank you lord for the hedge anybody thankful for the hedge that protects you and your family i got news for you we only know about that hedge because it's in the word of god and it was placed there because the devil opened his mouth so he may be seated so here we have same type of slip up a truth that we can apply to our lives that glory watch this dominion and power flows from worship pastor touchdown and beginning in the beginning of service glory dominion and power flows when we begin to worship look back at verse six and the devil said unto him all this power will i give thee and the glory of them for that is delivered unto me and to whomsoever i will i give it it doesn't matter if you're worshiping devils or deity there is a reward for worship let me give you an example have you have you ever wondered how people living in sin can appear so blessed you ever thought about that they haven't darkened the doors of a church their whole life having prayed one word to god and man they're living in the nicest houses they're driving the nicest cars and they appear to be blessed and no doubt they've got money that we will never see my family and i we spent a couple days in in northern l.a and we saw hollywood hills and we saw beverly hills and we saw some mansions we saw some things of power some fame we saw dominion we saw glory that we have never seen as such but even moses said that there is pleasure of sin for a season and i promise you if you worship anything hard enough if you give your life to anything hard enough you're going to receive the benefits of what it produces we witness where the most rich and the famous lived in the show business industry mansions that will blow your mind lifestyles of lavish living driveways with with hundred thousand dollar sports cars just lined up all the same color all the same year and we it was just it was mind boggling to see however with these benefits you also have to accept the baggage because the pleasure season runs out with the stories of the beverly hills mansions and the lifestyles also came stories such as here's the house where so and so took their life here's the house where so and so overdosed on drugs here's a house where so and so was married to their fifth husband you've got to take on the baggage you might have idols and you might be worshiping those things and you might be getting something from them you might think that you're getting blessed from those idols and from those things that you worship and those lifestyles that you have but you also got to accept the baggage that comes with them but listen john 4 23 but the hour cometh and now is the hour cometh and now is when the true worshipers now when i start preaching about true worshipers it's not the ones i was just preaching about because when we worship god when we praise god the power the authority the dominion that comes with the worship that we praise him for it doesn't run out there's not a pleasure season that ends when we praise god and worship god all we got to look forward to is eternity with him on streets of gold walking through a pearly gate staying where there's no more death where there's no more sickness when there's no more sorrow no more tears but there's only joy when true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth for the father seeketh such to worship him i got to read in matthew henry's commentary and this is what matthew henry says he says they worship the god of israel the true god but they were sunk into gross ignorance they worshipped him as the god of the land as a local deity like the god that other nations serve their gods whereas god must be served as god as the universal cause the lord he said the stress is not to be laid upon the place where we worship but upon the state of mind in which we worship him jesus didn't tell the woman that the father was searching for jewish worshipers did he he didn't say that that he was the the father was even searching for believers of god to worship him it said the father is searching for worshipers who are spirit filled that will worship him in spirit he says the hour cometh the father is waiting and then jesus said in the hour has come jesus was saying the father has been waiting for this moment for all ages and it's about to take place the day of pentecost was coming because the spirit of god was going to be poured out in that day because there is no communion between god and man unless the spirit of god dwelleth within him romans 8 and 14 says for as many as are led by the spirit of god they are the sons of god for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry of the father the spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are children of god that's what happens when you receive the gift of the holy ghost inside of your person truth is the second thing that the father is looking for and once again the father is not just looking for believers to worship him or the religious to worship him he wants people that have the truth to worship him john 8 32 says and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free free for what or free to do what it'll make you free to worship the requirements look right here the requires of a true worshiper you've got to have the anointing you've got to have the spirit within you and you must have truth jesus said i am the way the truth and the life jesus said i am the truth you can identify with me i am the truth you got to have me living on the inside of you you're not going to be a worshiper listen we can't get carried away with all these so-called worship artists and worship groups and they're coming out with all these worship songs be careful it's a whole lot different when somebody worships who has spirit and truth according to somebody who worship who does not have the spirit and does not have truth get confused with those two that's why we make such a big deal we got so many young performers coming up and when i say performers it's not performance for some kind of audience out in the world it's a performer for the audience of one but we have a lot of talent coming up in our youth group we got a lot of talent in our young 20s and we let them we let them know we warned them it's not the same thing you getting up here on a holy ghost filled stage when people all around you i feel the spirit of god and the anointing is flowing it's not going to feel the same if you think you're just going to take your worship into somewhere else where there's nobody that's filled with the spirit of god and if truth does not reign there it's not the same thing it becomes a performance for an audience of a thousand instead of an audience of one we gotta have true listen and be oh we gotta have a revival of truth we gotta have have revival of the spirit if you're not filled with the holy ghost tonight i promise you you will feel oh my god the first time you begin to worship after you've received the gift of the holy ghost there's no better feeling than to understand now that i begin to praise him with the spirit of god inside of me i have communion with the father and now the father is receiving the worship i want you to stand your feet with me tonight because if there's true worshipers in the house and i believe there are because the holy ghost was here in such a mighty way all night tonight did you feel what i felt in this place tonight brother malone came up to me he said if people only understood what it felt like to worship like we're worshiping he's especially somebody like me who's been down on my back on a hospital bed that i didn't know if i was even able to get out of and to know that all of a sudden here we are over a decade later and brother malone i saw you come running up out of this choir loft i saw you go running across the front of this bill oh my god i saw brother malone as his body was beloaded to twice the size that it should have been as he had fluids on his face and on his brain on his heart he had fluids all over his body they had him on a machine it was rocking him back and forth trying to keep the fluids moving so they didn't set up in his body i remember visiting sister rachel i remember thinking to myself oh my god i'm looking at a soon-to-be widow i thought those thoughts i rebuked them but i thought those thoughts i walked in and looked at that man i couldn't even recognize him look like a different person i thought god it's gonna be a miracle if he makes it out of here and guess what he's a living walking talking moving miracle and so when you begin to worship the father and spirit and truth and you begin to respond to what he's done in your life that's when you start raising your hand that's when you start shouting that's when you can't help but you dance and help but to shout it's not so much that lifting up your hands is worship it's a result of worship it's a result of the redeemed it's the results of the redeemed it's the results of the healed it's the results of the seed it's a result of the delivered we say you turn my morning into dancing now some of you young people you can't even you can't even relate to that yet but you get some years upon you and you'll understand what it feels like to mourn over things in life and think to yourself i don't know if i'm ever gonna get through this or not i don't know if i'm ever gonna see the sun shine again i'm in a tunnel and i don't know if there's a sun shining or there's a locomotive train coming my way i just i'm in darkness and i can't see my way but when he turns your morning into dancing all of a sudden that heavy burden and that heavy spirit that depression and that oppression then weighed you down and that sorrow that weighed you down when he lifts it up off you and you walk in the church feel like you're 10 feet tall and turn my morning to death or you go there you got that photo put that put that photo on the screen if you will that's my 98 year old grandmother y'all she's in an apostolic church in las cruces new mexico and baby that's all she can do she can't see no more she can't hardly hear you gotta get up in her left ear and you gotta talk really loud but true worshipers two worshipers say put me in a wheelchair and get me in the house of the lord if i can get these 98 year old arms to lift i'm going to give my god freeze up i'm going to give my god worship that's the worship of the redeemed right there she's only been in church for 25 years she got the holy ghost and was baptized when she was about 73 or 74 years old i've got a testimony for you when you've been brought out of our lifetime you're going to give a lot of worship when god has done our life for you you're going to give us out of worship and not just any kind of worship you're going to give the true worship of truth worship you're going to give him spirit worship come on somebody what has god done for you lately he is giving worship in this place can you respond to the lifestyle that you live you have a lifestyle i worship but i want to see a response to what god has done for you he's done so much we are here
