if you will turn your Bibles to John chapter 20 in verse number 24 I want to read a passage in your hearing and give honor to pastor carpenter and first lady carpenter into our pastoral team haven't we been blessed with the Word of God amen well I was going to say his last few days but for the past month every evening there's just been the anointed word either taught or preached over the webcast so the World Wide Web and so thankful last Wednesday night this past Wednesday pastor Hammond our student pastor what a revelatory message that he preached on Wednesday night we are in Christ and I'm so thankful for that and then of course Thursday brother Atkins preached our evangelist Jonathan Atkins preached and I'm so thankful for the Word of God and there's nothing like the priests Word of God that can move us nothing else moves us except the preached Word of God brother Hammond once again on on Friday he spoke to our youth but he really spoke to the whole church because weren't we moved amen as he taught us that we ought to carry our cross so last night brother Nolan are our kids quest pastor he brought the word to our children I don't know about you I I remember as a youth pastor I remember that the people would make comments to me they'd be they'd say stuff like brother Eric's I'm just so glad that my child is growing up in our youth group and I'm I'm so glad that our my child has grown up in our Christian school and really until you have children you really doesn't you don't know what that means but now that I have a teenager and I it's hard to believe but now that I have a teenager I'm so glad that we have student pastors and and student leaders Amen that are leading this great youth group strong tower I'm so glad that my daughter has someone to look up to I'm so glad for our kids quest apartment thank you brother Nolan thank you for all your staff that works so hard to bring the Word of God and bring it to the level that my children that my daughter's can understand and can have faith through thank you so much for that I want to go to the Word of God John chapter 20 and 24 says but Thomas one of the twelve called didymus was not with them when Jesus came now Thomas the word Thomas means twin in Aramaic and didymus means two in Greek so it's you're saying the same thing you just used in two different languages Thomas didymus same name two different languages and verse 25 and it of course it says that Thomas was not with the twelve when Jesus came verse 25 says the other disciples therefore said unto him we have seen the Lord but Thomas said unto them except I shall see in his hands the prints of the nails and the print of them put my finger in the print of the nails and thrust my hand into his side I will not believe and after eight days again his disciples were within and Thomas whipped them then came Jesus the doors being shut and stood in the midst and said peace be on to you now I'm just gonna pause and I'll have you be seated just a moment but when Jesus comes in when he when he appears through the door I got to imagine that the disciples reacted a lot like you and I would have reacted if Jesus just stepped through a locked door today I'm sure they thought that they were seeing things I'm sure that they thought maybe they were seeing a ghost maybe maybe they were seeing a spirit from another world but Jesus said hold on fellows peace be unto you then he said to Thomas directly to Thomas he said reach either thy finger and behold my hands and reach hither thy hand and thrust it into my side and be not faithless but believing and Thomas answered and said unto him my Lord and my god my title today is simply this the absence of Revelation the absence of revelation you see there's a lot of issues with doctrine and with faith and even with hope when there is an absence a revelation Thomas was not with them when Jesus came he was absent when revelation was given why don't you put your Bibles down we're gonna pray father we love you though I'm not asking you right now Lord God to minister through me as you ministered to me when you gave me this word father I must believe in that every soul Lord God under the sound of my voice today Lord will be blessed Lord by hearing your word and Lord receiving your word and lord help us to be obedient and to follow the instruction because Lord you said Lord that if we would hide your word in our heart we would not sin against you and Lord God we not only not want to sin against your Lord God but we want to promote your name and make your name famous in all this world help us today Lord God let Revelation fall in Jesus name we pray amen and amen and you may be seated if you're standing well that Sunday we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior we sang songs that he's alive that he is risen that he rose the choir I hope you got to see the choir as we sang over over over the Internet as we sing Sunday morning heroes we sing oh he stayed there Friday night and he stayed there Saturday night but early I said early Sunday morning heroes and we reach Scripture that in three days that the crucified Christ would rise again and he did raise back to life we've read the back of the book and we understand that we win he defeated hell death in the grave and that just means that you and I can defeat hell death in the grave and for that fact I give God praise this morning but the disciples of Jesus the disciples of Jesus listen to me today at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning the morning of the resurrection they were not celebrating like we were celebrating last Sunday brother Bob they were not they didn't have a choir sing it they didn't have a place team up on some platform singing they didn't have musicians celebrating and giving God praise and he was alive for they were still mourning the loss of their dear friend Jesus Christ they were wondering they were in doubt they were afraid he said he was gonna come back to life but we saw him on the cross we saw the blood we saw the nails we saw the crown of thorns we saw him at the whipping post we saw him take his last breath we saw as they as the day turned to night yes Thunder crash as an earthquake took place we witnessed the death of a friend in Seoul at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning the day of the resurrection there was no celebration taking place there was a nobody clapping their hands and singing songs of joy here's the deal there were people that were witnessing him but nobody was willing to take somebody else's report on the resurrection of Jesus and for the past 2,000 years Apostle Thomas has been given a battle ramp he's been given a negative nickname named police in front of his given name that all of the disciples should have had in front of their name now now you have the you have the Apostle Peter or Saint Peter you have Saint John you have Satan Matthew but you don't have st. Thomas that's not what he's really referred to if you hear somebody say the word doubting Thomas they're referring to the Apostle Thomas and a nickname list and a nickname is so hard to shape and people tend to view you according to what everyone calls you my nickname as a toddler was chunker I'm not gonna look at my sister-in-law right now but my parents called me chunker and I forty years later I'm still dealing with that nickname 40 years later I'm still struggling not to be a chunker but you have this man doubting Thomas you have this man who is reference for all time for over 2,000 years as being nothing more than a doubter but let me set the scene for for our text this morning because you see there's a reason why Thomas doubted Thomas saw something that you and I didn't see Thomas heard the words of the religious leaders that you and I never heard you see Thomas saw the crucifixion Thomas understood that there was a guard at the grave of Jesus Christ Thomas understood that the religious leaders said we've got to guard the tomb because if we don't guard the tomb the disciples are gonna come and they're gonna steal the body away and they said then the latter will be worse than the first one simply meant if they can say that their King rose from the grave that's gonna be worse than them calling him King and so they put a guard at the tomb and Thomas understood this Peter and John understood this James and Mathew Philip understood this and so when they began to hear the word that the body was missing I want you to go cuz we've read we've read the book we understand the story we know the story but they didn't know the end of the story and they heard word the disciples have come and the disciples have stolen the body of Christ and I've got to imagine pastor carpenter that as they were hiding together they were probably thinking of themselves I wonder which of us stole the body because I know I didn't steal the body I didn't go into the tomb I didn't take the body out of the tomb and so there was a lot of doubt there was a lot of hopelessness in an angel the Bible says came in rolled the stone away not so Jesus could get out but so that we could get in so that everybody who came to visit the tomb could see that Jesus was no longer there the earthquake happens how the guards they see the angels and they faint with fear and they run back and they're paid off by the religious rulers to lie over the body of Jesus and the stealing of the body of Jesus so you got to understand there's a lot to this story a whole lot more than just a bunch of unbelieving disciples there's a lot of word on the car that's being passed around there's a lot of people talking if you can find those disciples I guarantee they got the body of Jesus Christ if you could find those disciples so they are in hiding they fear for their lives it's more than they're just followers of Jesus people believe they have the body of Jesus but the women the women who loved who loved Jesus the women they go to anoint his body his deceased body with oils in spices and and they find the stone is rolled away and Jesus is not there and the angel tells them says Jesus is alive and even the Mary Magdalene Jesus presents himself it appears himself to her and says I want you to go back and tell my disciples to come on and they run back and they tell Jesus's disciples but I want you to know don't throw off on Thomas because nobody believed I'll prove it to you in March 16 this is marks record he says now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene out of whom he had cast Seven Devils and and she went and told them that had been with him and they mourn and wept and and they when they heard that he was alive and had been seen of her look at this believed not after that he appeared in another form under two of the men they walked and in they walked through the country first Ortiz says and they went and told it unto the residue and neither believed they them afterward he appeared under the leaven as they said at meat and unbraided them with unbelief and hardness of heart because they believed not them which had seen him after he had risen Luke 24 gives us a Luke Luke's record of the event in the Lord or in return from the sepulchre and told all the things unto the eleven into the rest it was Mary Magdalene in Joanna and Mary the mother of James other women they were with them which told these things unto the Apostles and their words seemed to them as idle tales and they believed them not I just want you to see in scripture today that Thomas he has the word doubting in front of his name and and that's how he is known throughout all time but I know I want you to know it was not fair to treat Thomas in this way it's not fair that he was given a nickname that everybody else following the same suit and doubted that Jesus had resurrected so I want to move on because listen it's easy to believe in outcome when you don't witness the process it's easy to believe in outcome you see Thomas or I'll rather call him didymus because there is so much baggage attached to the name didymus but just like everyone else he wanted to see Jesus for himself I'm gonna say that again he wanted to see Jesus for himself he did want to go off somebody else's testimony he didn't want to go up somebody else's experience he said I want to see his hands I personally want to see his feet I want to see his sight I want to know without a shadow of a doubt that my Jesus is alive there's an English word that goes along with this subject it's called credulity credulity means believing without examination Thomas is the type they will not follow without proof Thomas's personality would never follow a Jim Jones type Thomas would have never drank the kool-aid he he wasn't that type of personality now there are some types say if somebody says that they believe it they're gonna follow you if they if they if they feel good about what you say they're gonna follow after you if it kills their ears are gonna follow Althea but that's not Thomas Thomas was not gonna drink the kool-aid you see the definition of faith for Thomas is not blindly following but Jesus never asked us to follow blindly he's given us his word as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our pathway who who would buy an automobile without first taking it for a test-drive without first seen enough now I know there's something to do I know there's something to do but I guarantee you probably have some more stories that go along with your purchase I don't know about you but I never be wannabe the type that purchases without first checking things out just because the seller on Craig's List says it's in perfect condition Thomas needed to understand what's your definition of perfect condition your definition in Thomas's definition may not be the same you think Thomas didn't want to make anybody else's he didn't want to take anybody else's word for it he wanted to experience the authentic I remember the first time I ever went into New York City into Manhattan and visited Chinatown was when I was in Bible School and we're a bunch of 18 19 year-olds man we were we were on crowds who were we stopped over for one day to check out Manhattan and we took the subway and I remember getting off and going out remember the first time now I've been there many times since but I remember the first time I went into Chinatown I thought I had found the deals of a lifetime I listen I was a poor college kid I was a poor Bible School student man I had nothing I I really knows what close what I think I own maybe one suit I think I had one sports coat and I had to wear it every day in class I had nothing I was just a poor kid went to school man didn't know how to dress they know but I discovered Rolex watches in Chinatown now I'm not even saying this correctly now but I discovered a tag heuer watch and I'm sure I'm not saying to write you rich people I'm sure you know what to say but but we called it in Bible School we call them tag heuer watches I remember buying Gucci purses and Louis Vuitton I thought that called him Louis Vuitton purses I remember listen I remember them pulling us in the back rooms of their sketchy little sales areas and I remember thinking brother Kirk I'm scared I'll go back up these steps and they they pull a wall that had that had non branded purses on them they'd pull that wall aside and they would lead us up the stairs and show us the real thing and I remember thinking I'm getting a deal of a lifetime they're about to sell me this Louis Vuitton purse man it said Louie Vuitton on it it had the keychain had a little paper wrapped around the keychain I'm telling you it was as authentic to me as authentic could be I remember picking up and looking inside I thought my god they've gotten these off the black market in there they're hiding from the police and they're selling me these things I'm I'm thinking I'm gonna put these in bags and we're gonna sneak them back to IBC and man we're gonna handle all we're gonna sell these to the girls but I finally realized live it's too good to be true it's probably not true and I also realized that if I had ever handled the authentic I would have left that's a fake but because I never been revealed I had never had a revelation of the authentic I couldn't tell the difference between the two I thought just because I had a star a white star on the tip of the pen I thought it was a mark block pin I didn't know there's somebody some little factory somewhere was who was dipping little white stars and putting them on 25 cent pins I was taking a mob block pen back to IBC and I was gonna write in my Christology class with it but when you understand authenticity when you understand that Macy's downtown Manhattan doesn't sell Louis Vuitton purses 2 for $50 when you understand you can't get a Gucci watch for $20 from a man that opens his coat and has a bunch of watches in his coat when you finally figure out that that's not how life happens and that's not what authenticity is about oh my god all of a sudden I got home and I was wearing that tag heuer watch or however you say it and I noticed that my skin was turning green and I realized ha you've been duped because you didn't understand what the authentic was you couldn't define the authentic you didn't understand that Gucci doesn't have BOGO you don't buy one get one Gucci they don't work with Gucci that's just for the best with a discounted price stuff not for Gucci and Jesus would not have revealed himself to the other kin after the resurrection if they didn't believe but he had to reveal himself so that they could see it's me I'm the authentic one it's where I'm not a spirit I'm not a ghost of your imagination it's me I'm gonna show you the authenticity that's in my hands and in my seat I'm gonna show y'all scientist T that's in my side Jesus said I want you to come I want you to press your and I want you to feel the real thing baby see Thomas he wasn't going to be satisfied unless he really felt somehow he wanted to experience Jesus for himself nobody was gonna fool Thomas huh he wasn't gonna give the rest of his life spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and end up dying the martyrs dessa in a land called India he wasn't gonna give the rest of his life to something that he had not personally witnessed in Revelation had not come to him personally but I'm so thankful that Thomas was there the second time because Thomas got to be revealed exactly who Jesus Christ was I wanna polish you just for a second before I move on but untested and untried faith will not stand up to the storms of life just believing because somebody else believes will never last the winds are gonna below the tsunamis are gonna hit and if you haven't guessed driven what you have put your faith in I promise it's all gonna fall you can't rely on your mom and dad's religion you can't be apostolic Pentecostal because your grandparents we're apostolic Pentecostal you can't be able started because you go to an airport aaalac Church or never start school or go to strong tower youth camp but you've got to understand exactly who you are and exactly what you believe in my god the reason people backslide is because when the storms of life come into their life when they get rocked to and fro they don't understand what they truly believe because they don't understand God's Word they falter and they fail and they fall away but I'm so glad for the word of God because Jesus he made sure he said I'm not gonna leave you come from this shop I'm not gonna leave you to try to figure this out on your own for there's gonna come a day when I send my spirit it gonna build a church and that church is gonna be built on a solid rock foundation it's gonna be put and built on a revelation of who I am in that church there's gonna be a comforter that's gonna come and that comforter is gonna lead you in gonna guide you and he said it's gonna be by spirit every believer must have their own testimony of their faith if not listen the very next charismatic personality it enters into your life you're gonna follow after that personality but Thomas said oh no I want to experience Jesus for myself so the question is if everyone else doubted - why does Thomas forever have the nickname doubting Thomas I'll tell you why because he wasn't where he should have been when he should have been there it's because when the other eleven or the other kin because one Judas had already died Judas had already taken his life so they were ten there should have been a living lot together praying they're shipping a living lot together just saying Oh help us God Oh God speak Lord God I know you've given us a promise but there was one there wasn't with the other kin why was it I I believe is Capel because he was pouting huh I believe he was feeling sorry for himself because his life had been turned upside down and so when the other kin were getting together and trying to get their lives back in order there was one all by himself and he was pouting and crying it's in oh the last three years of my life has it all been for naught I thought I was going in a certain direction and now what is my life come to and I just believe in listen I'm gonna get off something just for a second but I believe if I was doing a real colors personality evaluation on Thomas I believe I would kiss them as a green blue now if you're if you're a group leader or you're a care group member you're going on because you've been through our real colors assessment but I would assess him out evaluate him as a green blue because why primary color green you had a prove it to him he wasn't going to believe it is because you said it you had to prove it to him you you he had to see it for himself he he had to rationalize it for himself but his secondary color would have been blue because he allowed his emotions to overtake him and get the best of him and he would find himself thinking too much and pitting himself too much he had fired himself pouting and dowdy while he's by himself the other ten are together experienced in Jesus Jesus is coming Jesus could have waited until they're all together but Jesus wanted to show himself his disciples he knew that Thomas wasn't there but he wanted to make sure that his disciples saw him and had faith in him and it kind of reminds me of the church today it kind of reminds me of people who lay out of church they should be here they should be here and I know we're in : 19 I know that we're all locked in our homes I get it but when we get back don't find yourself being Thomas the one of the disciples is always to himself don't find yourself being the one that when everybody else is experiencing Jesus you're at home pounding crying oh poor me and pitiful me I should have I should have been treated better and my life should be going in this direction my god find yourself in the house of God find yourself in the place where Jesus shows up when he walks into the building it shows himself powerful and himself strong listen we're gonna be judged not only of what we've heard but we're gonna be judged on what we've had the opportunity to hear and the opportunity is right here in this room when the preached word of God is being preached in Jesus is minister god help us be the church when the doors are open faith cometh by hearing Thomas lacked faith because Thomas was absent and I have a feeling that Thomas listen I don't want to cross swords with anybody's theology but I just have a feeling that Thomas didn't have quite the same revelation of Jesus that Peter had mattify I'll show to you in the scripture because even when the disciples were worshipping Jesus post resurrection after he had already resurrected st. matthew records in matthew chapter 28 verse 16 he says then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them and when they saw him they worshiped him but some doubted this is not talking about just the thousands of disciples and followers of Christ it's talking about the eleven that went back to Galilee into the very place where Jesus had appointed him when they saw him they worshiped him but there were some that doubted and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth as if Jesus was openly rebuking the doubters and revealing his power and his identity it's the very next verse I want you to follow closely because turn back with me twelve chapters twelve chapters back Matthew chapter 16 I want you to see this 16 verse 13 you know this story well but I want you to really look at it closely when Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi he asked the disciples saying do we preach us all the time who do men say that I the Son of Man am and they said some say that thou art John the Baptist some Elias others Jeremias one of the prophets but jesus said unto them but whom say ye who do you say that I am and we use this because this is the most beautiful revelation of God in Christ Simon Peter answered and said thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God and jesus answered and said unto him say unto them he said unto Peter blessed art thou simon barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee you but my father which is in heaven and I say unto thee he was his name to his disciples he was talking to Peter I say unto thee thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it and I will give unto Peter the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth will be bound in heaven which lever thou shalt loose on earth will be loosed in heaven Peter the rock he had full revelation in Matthew chapter 16 but the Bible never states that the rest of the deposit that the disciples at that time join Peter's revelation the fact of the matter is this we can have church full of the disciples of Jesus Christ here at first step of Stalag and not everyone is on the same level of revelation of who Jesus really is I'm not just referred to as deity but I'm not just referring to his dual nature I also referring to the power that he has you can be sitting on the Pew next to somebody that's within two feet of you and you both may not have the exact same revelation of who Jesus Christ really is and this is just a proof that you can experience some of Jesus and still not have a full revelation of who he is it happens all the time there's all kinds of good the nominal people and good Christians that are living in this Christian walk that have some revelation but they don't have full revelation they've experienced Jesus they walk with him they've talked with him Thomas these guys these guys had spent the night my wife night when we were in in Lebanon we went into a city where they they feel about 95 percent the Jesus and His disciples slept in a cave they were with him all the time they ain't with him they walked and talked with him they walked from city to city with him they lived with him for three years yet somehow for the Kirk they still some of them did not have full revelation of who he was some of them are still listed in the crowd and said you know he's probably Elijah I don't know he's probably a great prophet he's a great teacher he's surely a great preacher he can draw the crowds and I just believe obviously they understood there was something different he was a miracle worker they saw him raise the dead but even with all that experience that they have there was the absence of full revelation and let me tell you something I've said it before but being Apple's taluk just not enough attending the Pentecostal church is not enough we better have a personal relationship with Jesus that allows us to understand his identity I can't fathom going to church huh oh my god four times in a week I can't imagine going to church in heaven the Word of God broadcast into my home every night of the week and not having a full revelation of Jesus but let me tell you something there's people that they've grown up and all they've ever heard is this Trinitarian doctrine all they've ever heard is maybe maybe there is LOM or maybe they're different religions were all religious and that's all they've ever known that's all they've ever heard but we've got to get in into their homes into their lives and let them experience the authenticity of Jesus Christ and if they ever can experience who he is if they could ever see and reveal and it's gonna be revealed to them his power in his might I don't believe for a second that just like Peter their eyes won't be open and they'll see him for who he is Lord let us have full revelation of who you are how God have us have full revelation of who you are the reason the Peter in John went running to the tomb when the women told the disciples that they had witnessed Jesus alive is because they were close enough to Jesus to not only follow him but they had built a relationship with him they had paid attention to his words to his teachings they understood what he was trying to say it was John that referred to himself as the one that Jesus loved obviously there was a close relationship in a bond with Jesus that Thomas never had Thomas couldn't do so listen to the words of Jesus and receive his sayings and teaching Thomas had two questions entire sect every statement that Jesus made there's only two accounts I I was gonna read it but I don't have time to read them there's only really two accounts that we hear of Thomas even even speaking in the Word of God they're they're both found in the Gospel of John the first well I'll read this the first verse to tell you about then said Thomas which is called didymus under his fellow disciples let us go that we may die with him Jesus is talking about going to Bethany he's talking about going and raising his friend Lazarus from the dead and his disciples are saying no no Jesus you don't want to go there those people they are trying to kill you they're gonna stone you they're gonna put you to death they're they're gonna find a way to kill you and it was Thomas they just was like hey come on guys we're all gonna get in this together we're all let's just go die together let's just end this together we'll just put an end to this whole thing he wasn't much of an encourage and in the second time we hear of Thomas speaking as in John chapter 14 and this is a whole lot more we're familiar with this Jesus said let your heart let not your heart be troubled you believe in God believe also in me in my father's house are many matches if it were not so I would have told you I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there may ye be also and whither I go you know and the way you know and here's where Thomas kind of reveals his hand and he's like Lord we know not whether you go and how in the world are we gonna get there that's us that's the guy who's not sitting quite closer to the front of the classroom and it did allow Jesus to make the famous statement that we we love and we quote he said I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the father but by me he's a Thomas you want to know how to get through another way he says you're looking at the way and we can call it Thomas a pessimist but maybe maybe he doesn't need a clear direction maybe he was just for the ham in a slow learner and he needed a closer walk to really understand what Jesus was telling but madrone or close quickly but I want to go back because I've got to make sure we understand about this revelation John 20 24 hour text I will read it again I'm gonna relive it slower but says but Thomas one of the twelve called didymus was not with them when Jesus came the only disciple therefore the other disciples therefore said unto him we have seen the Lord but he said unto them except I shall see in his hands the print of nails and the pull our finger in the print of the nails and thrust my hand into his side I will not believe and after eight days again his disciples were within and Thomas with them and then side and be not faithless but believing and Thomas answered and said unto him my Lord and my god you see verse 24 look back in verse 24 he was pouting first 25 he was doubting but in verse 28 he began to shout he was shouting he said my lord and my god you see Peter received full revelation of who Jesus was before the cross but it took Thomas receiving the revelation - after the cross when he saw the resurrected Messiah he said my Lord and my god he got revelation revealed to him listen when you put all shut up al khattab aha when you figure out that Jesus is not just a prophet and not just a teacher not just a miracle worker when you figure out that Jesus is not some second person of a man-made doctrine when you figure out that Jesus is God you can't help but to shout I say you can't help but to shop My Lord in my god oh my god I believe there's a celebration within the people of God when they see that their God is no longer where he was and Jesus is no longer in the grave but he is risen I wish somebody would remember back to the first time you heard the losses 2 and 9 it hit you like a rock in the head for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily come on that's what that's what Thomas was feeling second crib is 5:19 to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself he was feeling that kind of Revelation in Colossians 1:15 says Jesus is the image of the invisible God in first Timothy 3:16 says and without controversy great is the mystery of godliness right here tells the mystery God was manifest in the flesh I'm so thankful we don't have to have a question mark when it comes to the Godhead but we understand it's all in him said it's all in him the fullness of the Godhead it's all in him somebody just give him praise you've been given says my Lord and my god I'm so glad we saw the hands on Savior you see Jesus is invitation to Thomas Schaaf of reach and touch it and believe he listen he's not gonna ask us he's not gonna ask us to believe in the unbelievable in the irrational the impossible but instead he readily gives the unbelieving Thomas the proof that Thomas requested do you see that the very first thing when he stepped into a room when all the eleven were together he didn't say hey guys how y'all doing good to see him seen you for a week he want to write to Thomas and he said you want to see my nail printing hands you go ahead and put your fingers right up in those nail prints huh you want to see my feet you go ahead and put your feet you brushed your hand into my wound on my side jesus said I'll give you exactly what you need I'll give you the proof to believe in me the idea that the world is gonna believe in the Holy Ghost in the resurrection without first experiencing the feeling and seeing some kind of proof of it it's not fair because you cannot believe in something that you have no knowledge of in the world they're pouting because they are hopeless the world is doubting because they have never experienced Jesus like we have the world has nothing to shout about because they have not experienced revelation but that's why Paul says in first Corinthians 12 27 now ye are the body of Christ and the members in particular we are now the hands of Jesus we are now the feet of Jesus if the world is gonna see the Austin tissa T of a savior they've got a look at the church and they've got to see the body of Christ that's us they gotta see the hands with the score they gotta see the feet with the scar they gotta be able to see in the only way they're gonna see is if the body of Christ brings Jesus to them they don't doubt because they are unbelievers they doubt because they don't understand they've never seen it's never been revealed to them but now are we the body of Christ and we can reveal hope to a hopeless world no listen musicians come this may be a little awkward but hopefully by now it's been over a month we've been meeting in our homes it's been over a month and hopefully it's not awkward as it was the first time but I wish that you would find a place to pray right there in your living room come on just just just stand up kneel down turn around to your couch turn around to your recliner and come on I wish you would just get in to your couch and with everything inside of you I wish you would pray a prayer something like this you say Jesus help me reveal to this world exactly who you are Jesus let me represent your body let me see you let them see you through me come on somebody I wish you pray this prayer or if there's an absence of Revelation let it not be my fault allow me to reveal who you are Jesus through my lifestyle and through my testimony let the test that I've been through let the revelations I've received God I want to take them to this world you said before you left the earth matter of fact two or three verses later in your word you said go ye into all the world and teach go into all the world and baptize them for the remission of sins go into all the world and preach the very thing that I've been preaching to you for the last three years I believe if we are truly the body of Christ we'll take the heart and say Lord until there's no more absence of Revelation I'm gonna keep on preaching your word and tell us normal absence of Revelation I'm gonna share your gospel I'm gonna preach the death the burial the resurrection of Jesus Christ I'm gonna preach repentance and baptism in Jesus name in the in feeling of the Holy Ghost until every soul has been preached until every soul has had an opportunity and a chance to be saved I will be the body of Christ huh I'll believe in you Jesus you showed yourself strong to me you don't have to die again you don't have to suffer again matter of fact you don't even have to ever heal another soul if I come down with : 19 you don't even have to heal me of it you've already proven yourself you've already proven exactly who you are and for their fact I give you praise and for that that preacher tore into the earth I'll be like a city set on a hill that cannot be yet oh come on say to God pray this prayer let me say god help me tell my life style huh bring light into people's darkness huh help my lifestyle very way that I live the very way that I talk the very way that I react to things I pray Lord God that I'll bring the revelation of who you are from who I am Hyup hahaha come on I feel the Holy Ghost I believe right there in your home you're feeling something I believe there's a convicting spirit ha god I'm sick and tired of doubt and I'm sick and tired of pounding I'm sick and tired of making me the focus of my every thought ah I'm sick Oh God I'm worried about what I'm gonna do it imply four things that I feel but oh god let me get my focus off myself and get my focus on this world who needs to see you as their Lord and their God oh the body caught in Christ you are the body card in Christ huh it's all in yeah it's all in your brother John give me
