so good to be back in the house of the Lord just remain standing if you will I'm gonna have you turn in your Bibles with me to Romans chapter 14 so glad to be back in the great United States of America our government may not always have it together it's still the greatest country in all the world if you didn't have your Bibles I know you'd clap your hands amen god bless america sail it with me god bless america Whitney the blessings of the Lord amen Romans chapter 14 and 17 love this scripture found in the New Testament it says for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but it's righteousness peace and joy and the Holy Ghost the righteousness peace and joy were to preach about that in a minute and then mark chapter 7 and verse 27 if you don't have time to turn there you just look on the screen love this story it says but jesus said unto her you're gonna know it right here let the children first be filled for it is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it unto the dogs and she answered and said unto him yes Lord yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs I want to preach in your hearing tonight simple thought the very least likely the very least likely let you put your Bibles down let's just worship Him together one more time come on we've joined the choir we've joined the worship team we've already lifted up with since song we've been given vocal chords and we've already lifted our voices in song but come on out let's lift up our voice in worship father I love you Jesus Oh Lord I'm so thankful for your kingdom that we are living in right now I'm so thankful Lord God oh that it's alive it it's well oh god I'm so thankful that your people here tonight Lord God love you we love our King Lord we love our King of Kings and our Lord of lords and tonight Lord I'm just gonna believe that somebody has come here tonight and has believed a lie about themselves but lord I want to turn that lie around and I want to bring hope into this house tonight Lord God that people would leave here change and people leave here understanding and knowing that victory belongs to them in Jesus name if you believe that why don't you clap your hands real hard together come on let's shout unto God with a voice of praise tonight hallelujah victory belongs to the people of God tonight you may be seated in Jesus name Amen I want to give just a quick report I want to give a quick report on Papua New Guinea I want you to know we have two missionaries I'm so excited to tell you we've now have two missionaries in Papua New Guinea we have the Barnett's and we have the marshals and the marshals have been on site for about oh I don't know six weeks or so and they are doing awesome matter of fact every Sunday they've been scheduled at a different Church and Pappaw new guinea brothers at and they're gonna have to go to sixty churches to make their rounds 60 Sundays they're gonna have to travel all over Papua New Guinea so that the people can meet their new missionary I'm excited about that I've got some I got some photos we had an awesome compositions our general conference I was privileged to preach our general conference and I brother Michael mop and he preached the Sunday before I left and he showed you some pictures I'm gonna show you some better pictures but he showed you some pictures of worshipers and these people know how to worship the men know how to worship the women I'm telling you when they start to worship you can hear you can hear a sound that is rises up out of that place just allowed some matter of fact when they sing songs over there whether they're in English or whether they're in pidgin they sing to the top of their lungs brother Darian it don't matter if they got a good voice or not they sing to the top of their lungs and it could be deafening I'm telling you it could be deafening just to hear we had over a thousand people hold that picture right there we have over a thousand people at this conference and man though worship was amazing they were in they were in just a metal type building no sides no no windows open air no concrete dirt on the floor with a bunch of straw top of the dirt no seats no pews no chairs they sat down on the straw they sat down but let me tell you something they were so hungry to hear the word of God it was amazing how hungry they were but this I want to talk about this picture right here because this picture does something for me this is this young man right here I can't even pronounce his name I wish I could remember it pronounce his name but this young man came up to me and he said he said brother Eriksen when you came here 10 years ago I was five years old he's sitting you gave me your tie he said and I've been wearing your tie just about every service for the last 10 years because people have nothing these people walk everywhere they go they they they might have if they get it they get a chance to get in a truck belt they'll put they'll put 50 people in the back of a truck and hold on for dear life these people have these people have nothing let me tell you something what they have is a spirit matter of fact we had 40 free get the Holy Ghost at that conference forty-three were filled with the power of God at this conference I love what they did they they had a board and everybody got the Holy Ghost at the end of every service they would call them up and they would say if you receive the Holy Ghost as evidenced by evidence of speaking in tongues for the very first time you've never received never spoken and on the tongue before I want you to stand and we'd have to over here and two over here and four over here and two over here and three over here and every night almost every service there was at least ten they would come up and we'd write their name down so those names are on that board they're gonna pray for those names all year long and I believe we're gonna double in triplet next year at our conference center General Congress if you believe that I wanted to praise the Lord and and give him praise for what he's doing all over all over this world I had a pastor's wife I was leaving out Oh we had eight get baptized I was very excited we had eight get baptized a lot of them had been baptized and had not received the Holy Ghost but eight were baptized in water in the name of Jesus but I had a pastor's wife find me in the airport I was sitting at my gate ready to fly out and if you can imagine the airport is nothing to write home about just just a very simple simple airport gate came in on a twin prop airplane very scary what a hit that when I hit the run the runway is so short when it hit the runway I thought I was in a helicopter I mean it just I mean and we were down the whole airport everybody in the plane shadow I mean it hurt it was like whiplash here we are and I'm at this gate and I had a pastor's wife come up to me they had it they have a little coffee shop there at the gate come up to me and asked me if I wanted coffee and I thought I don't but I'm gonna come and buy some of your coffee because I want to support you and support your church it saw a win and got me some coffee or something like that I think it was like dirt and water but man it woke me up sludge I think they call it she told me she said you again and this blew my mind just the type of people were dealing with so you gave your watch to my husband this pastor you gave my your watch to my husband 10 years ago 2009 she said he still wears it every day and again I thought this is this is amazing because we take so many things for granted here in America we go through watches like we go through socks just which one don't want to wear today which one matches this outfit I don't know just I'm a I won't even wear a watch today but man they they covet they they love everything they can get their hands on because there are poor people there are people that have no pedigree they have no genealogy to speak of no honorable ancestry as a matter of fact the people of Papua New Guinea you know what they're known for they are the last recorded cannibals think about that you know we have issues I live with my student section over here we have issues you know sometimes on a student section you know I'm upset with him because he stole my girlfriend or I'm just her because she's been looking at my boyfriend what have you had issues with somebody in your youth group because your great-grandfather ate their great-grandfather it makes it makes our issues not too big right you think I'm joking but I'm not matter of fact that's something that they asked they say you know when you come preach preach preach on unity because we have so many tribes that are represented within this conference you have you have a thousand over a thousand people that have come from all sides of this big huge island different tribes history nothing nothing they're proud of me matter of fact one more story I got to tell you about this because I'm trying to I'm trying to I'm reeling you into what I'm gonna preach about tonight for the Barnett's stopped and got a newspaper while I was there and then he went into the post office and left me with the newspaper now granted I'm staying at a at a missionary compound where missionaries all every Baptist Methodist Presbyterian any missionary that comes into that area stays in this compound it's behind a fence barbed wire probably electric has guards and I felt very safe but he leaves me with this a newspaper and it says something like this had named this man and it said he will not be tried for the murder he committed for a game of townspeople have caught him and they've done to him what he did to his victim they have taken machetes and chopped him up into small pieces this was right on the front page and it said the case is now closed they still live eye-for-an-eye to 13 but these people again I want to reiterate these people they're not proud of their pasts they're they if you talk to them they will they will hang their heads there it's a very shameful thing for for the past that they've been a part of and and I start to look around I think my god we are so blessed here in America we are so blessed because even you'll sometimes will whine about maybe not having the the lineage that we think we ought to have maybe our parents our grandparents our great-grandparents whoever it was or our bloodline wasn't exactly who we thought it should be and maybe you're trying to be something and and if my dad was a preacher then maybe I could have been a preacher and I I've heard people complain about that and if I had the opportunities that everybody else had but you got to think about my god we are blessed here in Amer because we have an option we are the land of the free we are the home of the brain we have opportunity we have freedom but I kinda want to turn the page because Israel love their genealogies there's a whole book in the Pentateuch that has nothing but this person beget this person and this person begot this person and this person beget this person and if your name was in the Bible that meant that you or somebody now you might have live like the devil but somewhere in your lineage you had to be somebody to get your name in the Bible somewhere along the way your name needed to be there so that later on down the road we could refer back to you to know who's who's aligned you were a part of and then there was others who take your name and the Prophet party the author probably thought you know what you're not gonna know him anyways because they haven't done anything great and they have nobody in their lineage that has done anything great and and they're the very least likely but then you have the genealogy of Jesus Christ the Israelites the Jewish nation all they respected the strong bloodline the strong patriarchs and the lists prestigious ly enough begins with Abraham Isaac and Jacob what great patriarchs when we we think about men who who walked with God and walked with angels and sometimes may have wrestled angels Jacob whose name was changed to Israel he was the father of the twelve tribes and and later on the whole nation would be named after himself but what about the matriarch what about the matriarch in the genealogy of Christ you know it wasn't the custom of the day to add the mothers it was just the father's however we have five matriarch so we have five matriarch sand I'm sad to say that four of them were were quite Shady some that had quite the reputation the very least likely so why were these women included in what does their presence imply I'm gonna preach in a moment just just hang with me see the book of st. Matthew the author he gives us a list of Jesus ancestors in its very first chapter and it starts off so strong but then we come to Tamar Tamar why not Sara why not Lea I mean one was high and one was not but at least there were good girls right at least they had good reputations but here we have Tamar Tamar who solicited a sexual relationship with her old father-in-law wasn't that how Perez her son was conceived Tamar a woman who many biblical scholars believe was a Canaanite widowed by two of Judah's sons had they promised the third son names chalet in Judah fearing for the light of this youngest son because the Lord had already stretched the first to day he held back and it probably would have never given his youngest son to marry Tamar and make it a Tallis was stuck in a very hard place because she had been returned to her father's house to wait upon this youngest son she had no status listen to me tonight she had no status she had no inheritance she had no social security it would never come her way until she was married and had an offspring because she was not eligible to remarry she stood and waited the waiting game for a husband from Judah but of course she took matters in her own hands if you know the story it was Judas wife that died and and it was Tamar who posed as a prostitute though she was not and she had a child with her father law Judah of course he denied but she had proof in Judas role as incriminated as it is he realized I am the father of my daughter lost child he may make a very long story short he got ugly but this Canaanite woman got in the bloodline of Jesus Christ this woman had a son what about Rahab the next woman that's mentioned second the surprising matriarch is as woman's name Rahab who clearly was a prostitute and a Gentile and Loeb was living in Jericho she had quite a reputation in the New Testament we have a man named John who baptized people that we call John the Baptist but this woman had a reputation that followed her - she was Rahab the harlot you've heard of her because every time it mentions her it says Rahab the harlot it was hard to drop that name because she had such a reputation and not only a harlot but she was a traitor even to her own people it she how's he Israelite spies in her home and helped him escape it was because of her that the Israelites could come back and Joshua could lead this great nation against Jericho character falls but it was those flaws that allowed her to be saved when the walls did fall amen and later Rahab marries Salman a Jew whom tradition says was one of the spies that she hid and she had a named Boaz who grows up to be a righteous and godly man so we come to the third woman who's the name is Ruth also a Gentile and even worse a Moabite the Hebrew word MOA by means from my father pastor preached about this and taught about this this morning he may mention up her bloodline the Moabites the nation of people that came from the lodge the daughter of lot one of his daughters got him drunk slept with him and had a son by him and the Moabite nation was birth and it was this woman named Ruth who came from this more by nation one of the greatest enemies pastor said it this morning one of the greatest enemies of the children of God and the children of Israel but Ruth this woman this more fight woman marries Boaz and they have a son named Obed and little did they know that this tiny little boy this baby boy named Ovid would be the grandfather of King David you look at this genealogy of Jesus Christ and there's a lot of falls within the genealogy now nothing changes who he is and who he came from but it's just interesting to me who he chose to come through the fourth woman is not even named in the genealogy that Matthew gives us but she's simply identified as Uriah's wife she's married to David but she didn't properly belong to David chip and seduced by Israel's greatest king and had committed adultery and she ends up marrying the murderer of her own husband together they have a son named Solomon and through Solomon the line to Messiah flowed I find it so interesting that Jesus would choose to come through the line of a woman who committed adultery and knew of her husband's murder rather than coming through a woman named Mike hell another wife of David who never had a child because she hated worship and she despised the very thing that her husband was named for which was a worshipper I thought it interesting that God would rather choose to have a bloodline the Jesus Christ the Son of God the Son of Man would be born through through an adulterous woman instead of a woman who despises worship I don't know about you but that makes me want to be a worshipper that makes me say God I'm gonna worship you with everything I am I'm never gonna look down upon it I'm never gonna despise it I'm never gonna look down at other people who are doing it but instead I say God if you love worshipers huh I choose to be a worshiper Paul women and the lineage of Christ that were very least likely the fifth and final woman in the geology is Mary the mother of Jesus who is called the Christ everything was seemed okay with Mary because she was a Jew with a good reputation however she did come up pregnant before she was officially married her old fiance was planning to put her away privately she was only around 13 years old she was young she was inexperienced she was vulnerable but that's who God chose to allow his bloodline for the Savior to come through the very least likely they were just like us ordinary some tarnished by sin unlikely to shape the course of history but somehow they did and I don't know about you but that gives me hope tonight maybe some of you have great bloodlines and you come from families you might be fifth sixth seventh generation Pentecost and all you've ever known was was teething on the back of a Pew but I didn't I'm so glad to have my parents here and I love their testimony because their first generation of Pentecostals I'm so glad for parents who who are one the GABAA let me tell you something people in this room tonight can look back at some of these people in the genealogy of Jesus crisis so you know what I can identify with that I've got some mess ups in some mistakes but let me tell you something tonight there is hope for each and every one of us because we serve a God who can take a mess up and a mistake and something that doesn't look worthy and say I can put you in the bloodline of the Savior I can put you in the bloodline of the Redeemer the keeper somebody give Him praise Jesus came from a lineage of sinners to save sinners I said Jesus came from a lineage of sinners in order to save sinners I'm so thankful they God loved his creation enough that a creator look down and said hey I've gotta call my selfie and take care of a problem called sin my selfie I've gotta become a spotless lamb my selfie I've gotta roll myself in flush because I love them enough to come through their line of sin yet remain sinless somebody clap your hands if you're thankful for a God came himself that is a way of a looking beyond our faults and seeing our need it was a sure phoenician woman who is a nameless in mark chapter 7 look look with me in mark chapter 7 I'm gonna kind of blend two accounts Matthew and marks account of this same story together but the same astera finition woman who was nameless was desperate with the need I want us to look at this because every single person in this place can relate to this woman for her story forces and from thence Jesus arose and went into the borders of tyre and sidon and entered into an a house and would have no man know it but it could not be hid for a certain woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell at his feet the woman was a Greek a seer Phoenician by nation and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter I pick up in Matthew 15 and 22 and she cried unto him saying have mercy on me O Lord thou son of David my daughter is vexed she's grievously vexed with a devil but he answered her not a word and his disciples came and besought him saying send her away for she quiet after us but he answered and said I am NOT sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel then that came she and worshipped him saying lord help me but he answered and said it is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to the dogs and she said truth Lord yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from the master's table then jesus answered and said unto her o woman great is thy faith be it unto thee even as thou wilt and her daughter was made whole from that very hour we have a Gentile woman a Shearer Phoenician a woman oh my god Oh what listen we're talking about a woman with ill reputation from a nation of ill reputation a godless nation a nation that was not a Jewish nation she was yet a Gentile but she found out about this man named Jesus and she thought to herself if I could just get into his presence and find him I believe that he could take care of the issue I'm having with my daughter she had enough spiritual understanding to realize that her daughter was grievously vexed was filled with a demon and she thought there's no hope unless I find a power it's greater than the power that's in my daughter if I can find a power that's greater than the power that's in my daughter then my daughter can be set free but what she could have never even guessed was it when she went to this man named Jesus that he would be silent when she asked him for her knee she didn't even understand it she thought to herself probably surely all he has to do is make commandment from his mouth and my daughter will be set free surely I can ask him for this easy simple thing he'll answer of my plea and my call but Jesus the Bible says that Jesus was silent he answered her not a word I said I'm so thankful that she didn't give up when Jesus was silent I'm so thankful because I just believe that something inside of her was saying I've come too far I'm drink I'm drown well she was on a camel I don't know what she drove to get there but she thought I've come away too far to turn around now I found my answer and I'm free I refused to go anywhere until he gives me the answer that I'm looking for and so the very next thing the Bible says he is she began to worship Him listen if God ever goes silent on you we can't go silent if God ever go silent honestly if I plan to say lord I need help lord I need your help and we don't hear from heaven listen that is not a time for us to go silent just because we believe heaven is silent but that's the time for us to start worshipping insane oh god I worship you I don't know how she worshiped him I don't know what she said in his presence for whatever it was it got his attention and he opened up his mouth when she began to worship listen worship you may be seated where some may not give you the answer you're looking for but at least it opens up heaven I'll say that different worship may not give you the answer you want but at least it opens up heaven so where heavy can sneak down into your life and star safe you listen you don't deserve the miracle that you're asking for Oh what do you mean I don't deserve he said you're not on the right blood line you're not at the right lineage you're nothing more than a dog you shouldn't even be talking to me you filthy kenta why are you up in here talking to me I'm a Jew I'm a leader of the Jews where are you coming up and talking to me but let me tell you something that did not have sent her that just said hey he's giving me a chance she said also there is a chance because you said even the crumbs fall from the master's table she said oh my god I just so happen to know brother Noah did the very same thing in the loaf of bread is the very same thing that's in the crumb and she said if you'll just give me a crumb I'll get the very same thing that the people of the bloodline or kid it's a very same flour somebody help me tonight is the same age it's a very same thing the same ingredients that mouth and I began to think I wish some people would just open up their mouths people are expecting something from God but don't want to open their mouth at all wanna come to church is just kind of hang out and hope this somehow someway you might just get a crumb landing on my god getting a master's it is open your mouth and say God I won't survive committee seated what I love about this woman is her need was greater than her pride say it again her need was greater than her pride because some of us would have just we would have packed up camp and got out of there telling me I'm a dog who do you think you are your entire inside out you're in my countryside you might want to do school across the Mediterranean get back into your town you and Mike you my countryside right now I've been a tile I've been decide on it's in Lebanon it's not in Israel but her need was greater than her pride I don't care because if you truly got a need you don't care what anybody else thinks you don't care committed see I believe that pride can be the greatest miracle blocker name it go to the Jordan I want you to dip down 7-time don't you know where I'm from don't you know where the rivers the rivers were out from I could go and dip in my clean water I'm not gonna go to your muddy nasty listen I've seen some nasty rivers lately I'm not gonna go to your nasty brown muddy river and dip seven times do you know who I am do you know my lineage to know my name do you know who I work for do you know my position little sir said you need a big thing just do what the Prophet says just just go to the Jordan swallow your pride him naming the leper looked at his hand look at the leprosy on his body and thought to himself I tell you what I think I can swallow my pride not to die in this leprosy I think that I can I can get into a river that's a nasty muddy polluted I can get into the river there's all kinds of stuff flowing around if it means that I could get rid of this disease if it means that I get a new future my god don't let pride get into your way of your miracle don't let pride block your miracle and stop you from getting what God wants secure all my god I believe there's somebody here tonight I believe the Lord spoke to me and said there's somebody sitting on the piers tonight it's writing against pride and something inside of the heart is telling them I'm too good I don't have to do all this speaking in tongues gibberish I'm not gonna get in that water and get all wet in front of a thousand people oh no I'm not gonna do but if you would swallow your pride I promise your future would change forever your wholeness pastor preach about this morning and I'm not gonna go TV evangelist but your whole destiny would change if you would give up in that water if you allow God to fill you with the baptism of the Holy Ghost everything your future would change get rid of the primacy we don't want to walk out of here with the same issues that we walked in your win we got a swell apply we gotta swallow pride and start worsening because nothing gets the attention of a silent Savior lifted up holy hands without wrath without doubt fear nothing could sit ditch and that's what worship is all about is when God sees his people step in and say I trust in you that you're able to do it whether it's your timing right now or it might be tomorrow and it might be next week but I've got enough just sick pot I'm raising my hands I'm lifting up holy hands I don't feel about tomorrow because you're my father and you love me I don't have her happy I'm mad Oh somebody help me tonight Jesus is looking for a worshipper it doesn't have pride in his able to go I am she got so awesome up this woman you know her her daughter got here we read that she goes back home finds her daughter well beautiful store a beautiful ending of story but what gets me right here is she opened the door so that the Gentile nation could step into the Ministry of Jesus Christ she was the first one that opened that Jesus didn't want to do it but she opened because of the reaction to his silence she opened the door and said even us dogs need salvation how does believe tonight I believe if we could look past listen everybody in this room has insecurities everybody in this room has issues everybody in this room there's things that you're trying to change about your life but if we could look past those things that want to put a wall up I just believe we would see miracles signs of wonders that we haven't seen in a long time what to Papua New Guinea listen there's no pride there they got nothing to be proud of you saw pictures my god they they have nothing they don't they don't they don't come up and try to shake your hand after service they don't feel like even worried to come we're gonna come shake your hand they just look at you and smile as you walk by the gonna smile I shook every hand I could find I touched every child's head but what they're seeing is signs miracles and wonders because they know how to pray they know how to worship and there's no bride I met a woman who was who was so close to death her body was a DUP with the AIDS virus and God healed her I met her 10 years ago and I got to see her again last weekend but God can work through I can work through us when we get rid of pride we become worshipers but let me tell you something the last thing we need to do I want to get back on my subject the last thing we need to do is to look at our past look at our bloodline the last thing we do to do is look back at our at our lineage of credentials because let me tell you something if you're like me there's nothing in the physical but let me tell you something because we're living in the New Testament now now we're living in the spiritual age you know natural heritage is no longer important second Corinthians 5 and 17 says therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creature old things are passed away behold all things are become new we got to stop allowing Satan to bring up our physical biological heritage because he knows if he could keep our mind on the physical we'll forget about the spiritual if he could get us to think about how powerless our past is and how powerless our present is then we're gonna forget about what God wants to do through us in the spiritual realm I want you to know if you've got the Holy Ghost if you're filled with the power of God oh we are new we are new creatures we're not the same as we used to be we've got a spiritual heritage it cancels out our natural heritage I've never been to a to a horse race I've seen the Kentucky Derby I and we live right below Kentucky in I did a little research on Thoroughbred racehorses and when you purchase a thoroughbred racehorse you are purchasing his past the parents define his work a stallion and a mare come together and they have a Colt in that Colt if it's from the right stallion in the right mare that Colt can be worth somewhere around $400,000 because you're purchasing what his parents bloodline brings it you're not purchasing that little coal pit when it's born it can't even hardly stand up straight it's all wobbly you look at it it's ugly its ears or matted back with blood and it's its tail and its main don't look all that pretty when it's first born you're not purchasing for its looks you're not purchasing for its strength and you're definitely not purchasing it for its speed you're purchasing it because mom and dad have got a bloodline that makes that thing worth $400,000 its heritage the very least likely all the sudden becomes the absolute most likely the very least likely enters the kingdom of God thank you sir finishing woman thank you for not taking silence as your final answer thank you for not taking an insult as your final answer thank you for showing Jesus the greater faith than any person in Israel had ever showed in Jesus because the kingdom door was opened up I want to show you something that that God showed me earlier this week whilst in Romans 14:17 we read it as a text it says for the kingdom of God is not meat entry the Jewish full on have been arguing they have been fighting land they've been talking about are these Gentiles they're eating the wrong things and they're drinking the wrong things and and don't they know that there's a law and what those simply saying was the kingdom of God it's not about that Jewish bloodline but the kingdom of God is all about righteousness peace and joy that's brought on by the Holy Ghost righteousness peace and joy that's brought on by he was the husband of Mary but we know that Joseph was not the biological father of Jesus but the bloodline came through to Joseph the Holy Ghost came upon Mary overshadow Mary we understand the whole process of the virgin birth but Joseph the bloodline comes down through to his stepfather Joseph and stops in the physical turn spiritual right there because in that day I did some research in that day when you were adopted into a family whatever bloodline that family was you would take on that same bloodline you didn't have to be incredible you didn't have to be in the bloodline you just had to
