Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

The text: five loaves and two fishes

  • Copeland reads John 6:9 — "There is a lad here which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes" — and Andrew's question over it: "but what are they among so many?"
  • His announced subject: "Give Him What's Left." Everybody has an excuse — too young, too old, too much past — but no matter where a person is, God can use them; if you would give God what's left, it would blow your mind what He would do with it.

Scriptures: John 6:9

The mask: acting like everything is okay

  • We live in a society obsessed with appearing to have it all together — filters and glitter on social media while people are tormented inside; he tells of an Instagram influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers whose seemingly perfect life ended in suicide. Comparison steals satisfaction: as long as your eyes are on what everybody else has that you don't, you will never find true satisfaction or step into what God has for you.
  • The habit follows people into church — the worst place to pretend. The church is a spiritual hospital; burdens God gave as temporary tests, meant to drive us to prayer and closeness with Him, become things we learn to carry forever. Sometimes He even sends loneliness or heaviness as a way to draw us to Himself; the void inside every person is God-shaped, and careers and money will never fit it.
  • Desperation is the key that pride blocks: the woman with the issue of blood pushed through the crowd, blind Bartimaeus cried out the more when they told him to be quiet, and the disciples in the storm — Jesus would have passed them by had they not cried out. There is something about desperation God cannot ignore.

Little is much when God is in it

  • The lad's lunch looked like nothing among so many — and believers say the same of their own calling, their past, their mistakes: "What are they among so many?" Comparison paralyzes; the Bible itself warns against comparing ourselves among ourselves.
  • Copeland tells his own story: a year and a half into evangelizing, his great fear was that churches expected his father, Tim Copeland — the same spirit, the same messages — and that he would be a disappointment; in a prayer meeting the Holy Ghost settled it: "I haven't called you to be your daddy. I've called you to be you." When God called you, He already knew your mistakes and insecurities — and called you anyway.
  • Put in Jesus' hands, the little multiplies: the thousands fed, twelve baskets gathered up so nothing is lost. There is more left than lost — Moses was eighty, two-thirds through his life, at the burning bush; Gideon's excuses did not change God's choice. Mistakes do not disqualify: he is a living testimony it is never too late.
  • He closes with two more "what's left" witnesses: the lame man at the gate Beautiful in Acts 3 — Peter's "such as I have give I thee" — and Elisha's widow, whose little pot of oil was exactly enough. The altar appeal turns the congregation's own song back on them: don't just sing "I give myself away" — really give Him everything you've got left.

Would you lift up your hands all over the house with me right now? Help me pray just for a minute. Come on, could you lift up your hands and love on the Lord just for a moment. I love you, God. I love you, God. God, I don't take it for granted what I feel right now. I don't take it for granted the anointing that's in this place. Thank you, Lord, for showing up. Thank you, Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I want everybody to say praise the Lord. I want to quickly start by honoring your great pastor. I love him so, so much. Sister Smith, how many appreciate your pastor and pastor's wife? Amen. I love them. They're kind of like second parents to me. I don't think they'd claim me, but I would claim them. I love them. I've had such a good time with them. I don't think I'm more comfortable around anybody in the world than I am around them. That's probably a bad thing sometimes, but I love them so much. I love Jordan and Shay and Drew and Carson and Lindsey, the entire Smith family. great friends of mine. enjoyed being here so much. I give honor to Elder Smith and his wife, Sister Watkins, everybody, the whole family. Love them so much. Also, I want to quickly give honor. I'm not going to name any names cuz I always get in trouble, but I want to give honor to this church. the more I travel, the more churches I go to, I realize how few and far between churches like this really are. I've heard people say, you know, if you don't think America's such a great country, you probably haven't been to a whole lot of countries." And I've come to tell you tonight, if you don't think this is a great church, you ought to go out and see some other churches and you'd come back and be thankful for what you feel in this house. Hallelujah. Every service, there's been such an anointing, such a presence of God. I'm just so thankful for this church, for the saints of God that make up this church. Thank you for being so kind to me since I've been here. If you'll let it happen tonight, I believe the Holy Ghost has got a word for somebody. John chapter 6 and verse number 9, the Lord gave me this thought a couple days ago and it's been eating me up. I'm ready to get it off me. I want to tell somebody, I don't care who you are, I don't care how old you are, I don't care if you're older, if you're young, the devil's told you it's too late for God to use you, I want to stand here tonight and tell you he's still a liar. He's still a liar. We find many examples in the Bible. Some people would say, "God, I'm too young. I'm just a boy. I'm just a girl. I'm too young to be used." And then you'd find somebody and they'd say, "I'm too old." We've always got some reason or some excuse why God can't use us, but I want to tell you that no matter where you are tonight, God can use you. And I want to help show somebody that tonight. John chapter 6 and verse number 9, the Bible says, "There is a lad here which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes." This question right here, but what are they among so many? Anybody ever felt like that? What am I among so many people? What could I possibly add to the kingdom that somebody else couldn't add? That's exactly what Andrew asked of this small boy. What are they among so many? I want to preach to you tonight for a few minutes on this subject, give him what's left. Give him what's left. You may have spent time out in the world. Maybe you've been in the church your whole life and we haven't committed the way we know we ought to commit. You may feel that you've wasted time and wasted opportunities and wasted chances, but can I tell you tonight that if you would just give God what's left, it would blow your mind what he would do. Would you lift your hands with me right now and help me pray, God, I feel the Holy Ghost in this place. I feel the anointing. I believe you've given me a word for somebody today. Help us to receive it. Help us to apply it. God, I'm asking you, Lord, to hide me behind the cross of Calvary. We'll be careful to give you all the glory. In the name of Jesus, we ask these things. Would you clap your hands one more time to the Lord?

Hallelujah. You may be seated tonight. We are living today in a society where everybody wants to act like we've got it all together. we act like life is perfect and that nothing is wrong. We have people in our world that are committing suicide because their life never seems to match up with the lives of the people that they see on social media or on on the internet or whatever it may be. There are many people who put on a persona of having a perfect life and they're able to put just enough filters and just enough glitter onto their life and onto what they let you see of their life to make you think that they are just the happiest people and that nothing in their world ever seems to go wrong for them. I remember last month I was reading an article about a young woman who was on Instagram and had a very large following, several hundred thousand people. And I was scrolling through and they had some of her pictures up there. She was a big advocate for travel and they began to talk about how all of her posts were basically promoting travel and promoting this happy life that she seemed to be living and people would comment on her pictures and say, "Man, I would kill to have the life that she has and I would give anything to be able to experience the things that she experiences." It seemed that her life was perfect and it seemed that she had everything going her direction. That was till I got to the end of the story and I read where this same woman who people were so envious of who people looked at their life and said, "My God, I wish I had that." I read where this woman took a gun and put it in her mouth and pulled the trigger. No one would have ever guessed what was going on in her world because she was always able to put her best smile on. She was always able to put on the best mask that said that my life is perfect when really there were things on the inside of her that were tormenting her. And people are getting SO OBSESSED WITH WHAT THEY see online and what they see on social media that it is causing them to become depressed with their own lives. It It is causing them to look at the circumstances and in their life and think that man IF I JUST HAD WHAT THEY HAD THEN MY LIFE WOULD be perfect. If I just had what they had everything would be okay and I'd finally have a little happiness in my life. Some of you know exactly what I'm talking about tonight. If we don't drive as nice of a car as they drive we feel like we're not good enough. If we don't have as nice of a house and as big of a house as they do somehow on the inside of us we begin to feel that we are insufficient and that we have fallen short. If we don't have the money in our pockets that they have we just feel that we're a little bit worthless and you and I have all heard people say man if I just had that then I could be happy. If I just had that car then I could be happy. If I was just making this amount of money then I believe that everything would be okay. If If I JUST LOOK LIKE THAT. If I just had that relationship. If I just had that husband or THAT WIFE THEN I BELIEVE everything would be okay in my world. And let me make just A LITTLE SIDE NOTE right here and I want to tell you that as long as you stay focused ON WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE HAS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE YOU WILL NEVER FIND TRUE SATISFACTION IN YOUR LIFE. HEY, I'M TELLING YOU FROM EXPERIENCE. YOU CAN GET SO FOCUSED ON EVERYBODY ELSE'S BLESSINGS THAT YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR OWN BLESSINGS. YOU CAN LOOK AT EVERYBODY ELSE'S GIFTS AND FORGET ABOUT YOUR OWN GIFTS. YOU CAN LOOK AT EVERYBODY ELSE'S TALENTS AND FORGET WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU. AND AS LONG AS YOUR EYES ARE ON somebody else, as long as your eyes are on what other people have that you don't have, you will never go into everything that God has for you. So, this has shaped us and molded us in a way as a society to where when we leave our house and we're around people, we do everything

in our power to act like everything is good. We do everything in our ability to not let people know what's really going on on the inside. that's why people sometimes can commit suicide and the ones that were closest to them said, "I would have never dreamed in a million years they would be one that would do something like that." Because we've LEARNED AND WE'VE MASTERED the art of being in public and acting like everything is okay. Nobody wants to be broken. Nobody wants to seem vulnerable in the presence of the people that they love. And the problem is it has shaped us in a way to where even when you and I come to church, we act like we've got it all together. even when we come into the house of God, we put on our best suit and our best tie and WE PUT A SMILE ON OUR FACE AND WHEN SOMEBODY SAYS, "HOW ARE YOU DOING?" WHAT DO WE SAY? We say, "Well, I'M DOING GREAT. HOW ARE YOU DOING?" EVEN if on the inside we are tormented. Even if deep down on the inside there's depression and there is anxiety and there is fear about the future. And I JUST WANT TO TELL SOMEBODY TODAY THAT THERE'S PEOPLE IN THIS HOUSE TONIGHT, YOU'VE GOT DESPERATE NEEDS, BUT WE'RE SO WORRIED ABOUT WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE THINKS ABOUT US. AND WE'RE SO WORRIED ABOUT WHAT THE PERSON RIGHT ARE TO YOU IS GOING TO SAY THAT WE'VE LEARNED HOW TO LIVE WITH SOMETHING GOD DID NOT design for us to live with. We've learned HOW TO CARRY something God never intended for us to learn how to carry. A problem we have today is that the situation is desperate, but we are not. The problem is desperate. The circumstance is desperate, but we're not matching that level of desperation. I believe many times God gives us little problems and burdens and circumstances in our lives to carry for a certain time. SOMETHING THAT IS INTENDED TO TEST us and something that is intended and designed to bring us closer to him. IT'S SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE A START DATE AND AND SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE AN END DATE. It's not an everlasting burden. It's not a perpetual problem. it's a a thing and a problem that's supposed to drive you to prayer. It's supposed to drive you to a deeper relationship with God. it's A TEST THAT GOD HAS GIVEN us that you were never supposed to learn how to carry. You were never supposed to learn how to live with it. But we get these problems in our life and it becomes part of who we are. It becomes part of our DNA and part of our makeup. we carry this problem with us into the house of God and when we leave the house of God, we're leaving with the exact same thing we walked in with. When really, I believe some of you have been carrying some things that you were supposed to let go of a long time ago. I believe some of you have learned how to deal with circumstances. You've learned how to carry around problems and AND THINGS IN YOUR MIND THAT YOU WERE NEVER INTENDED HOW TO LEARN HOW TO CARRY. HEY, I BELIEVE SOMETIMES GOD MAY SEND A LITTLE BIT OF DEPRESSION AND MAYBE GOD MAY SEND A LITTLE BIT OF WORRY AND FEAR AND IT'S DESIGNED TO BRING US CLOSER TO HIM. HEY, I DON'T WANT TO STEP ON ANY TOES TONIGHT, BUT INSTEAD OF TURNING TO HIM, WE TURN TO A COUNSELOR WHO DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO GOD IS. WE TURN TO A PSYCHOLOGIST WHO DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HOLY GHOST IS. WE TURN TO ANTIDEPRESSANTS WHEN IT WAS DESIGNED TO BRING YOU CLOSER TO GOD. I BELIEVE sometimes God maybe sends us maybe a little bit of loneliness. Everybody in here at some point has felt lonely. Let me ask you tonight, have you ever been maybe in a crowd of people and all of a sudden you just feel a little something on the inside of you? something that says, "Man, I just don't fit in." Have you ever even been with friends and family members? everything's fine one moment, but all of a sudden something comes over you and

you you GET THAT LITTLE VOICE IN YOUR HEAD THAT SAYS, "MAN, YOU JUST DON'T FIT IN." AND AND SOMETIMES YOU FEEL LONELY AND AND YOU BEGIN TO CALL YOUR FRIENDS ON THE PHONE, BUT NOBODY SEEMS TO ANSWER. I'M JUST TELLING YOU I BELIEVE SOMETIMES GOD WILL SEND A SPIRIT OF LONELINESS AS A WAY TO GET CLOSER TO HIM. HEY, WHEN YOU FEEL LONELY, JUST LET ME TELL YOU, YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL YOUR FRIENDS ON THE PHONE. YOU DON'T NEED TO TURN TO SOMEBODY, BUT GOD GAVE YOU THAT AS A WAY TO GET CLOSER TO HIM. WHEN YOU BEGIN TO FEEL THAT YOU'RE ALL BY YOURSELF, LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU. STEP INTO A PRAYER CLOSET. STEP INTO THE SANCTUARY AND CRAWL UNDER A PEW AND SAY, "GOD, I'VE GOT TO GET CLOSER TO YOU." YOU'VE GOT TO REALIZE YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH PEOPLE WILL NEVER MATTER IF YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS NOT WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. God put a void on the inside of every man and every woman that can only be filled by him. There's a hole on the inside of you. The shape of that hole can only be filled by God. And so many times we take careers. We try to fit it into that place that God's supposed to be. But guess what? It never works. It never works. It's like taking a square and trying to put it into a circle cut out. It will never work. We try to take money and fit it into that spot where God is supposed to be. BUT GUESS WHAT? IF GOD IS NOT NUMBER ONE IN YOUR LIFE, I don't care how much money you have in the bank, you will never be fulfilled in your life. Hey, I don't care today what your career is. I don't care HOW SUCCESSFUL YOU ARE in terms of money. IF YOU'RE NOT IN THE WILL OF GOD, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE UNCONTENT. YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPY. WHEN BUT WHEN YOU STEP INTO THE WILL OF GOD, HEY, YOU COULD BE WORKING AT MCDONALD'S. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE. YOU'LL SAY, "HEY, I KNOW I'M IN THE PLACE THAT I'M SUPPOSED TO BE BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS RIGHT BETWEEN ME AND GOD." I WANT TO TELL YOU TODAY SOME OF YOU HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE. YOU'VE TRIED OTHER THINGS TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. I'VE COME TO ASK YOU TONIGHT, WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO AHEAD AND REALLY TRY JESUS? SOME OF YOU HAVE BEEN IN THE CHURCH YOUR WHOLE LIFE, BUT YOU'VE NEVER TRIED JESUS. I'VE COME TO TELL YOU TONIGHT, HE'S BREAD WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY. HE'S WATER WHEN YOU'RE THIRSTY. HE'S PEACE WHEN YOU HAVE NO PEACE. HE'S JOY WHEN YOU HAVE NO JOY. HE'S THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA. HE'S THE BEGINNING AND the ending. HE'S THE ROSE OF SHARON. HE'S THE LILY OF THE VALLEY. HE'S THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS WRAPPED UP IN JESUS. I WISH SOMEBODY WOULD CLAP YOUR HANDS RIGHT NOW. COME ON, I WISH SOMEBODY WITH YOUR HANDS WOULD TESTIFY. HE'S EVERYTHING. HE'S EVERYTHING. HE'S EVERYTHING. BUT INSTEAD OF praying until God delivers us we say, "Man, this is just me. This is just me. IT'S MY DNA. I'm just a depressed person. I just have a lot of anxiety by nature. I've always been like this. Maybe you have. But can I tell you that God is able to deliver you from anything? I really do believe tonight that on a Tuesday there's enough power in this place to deliver you from anything that has you bound. You may say I've been this way for since I was a child. Guess what? God's stronger than the things that had you in your childhood. Hey, he's stronger than than the addictions that maybe you've been a part of your life for 10 plus years. God can deliver you from anything. But you've got to get to the place where we get so dissatisfied with where we are in God that we are forced to grow. I promise you tonight

if you would get so sick of where you are and you WOULD GET SO TIRED OF WHERE YOU ARE, you would grow. You would grow. 100% of the time you would grow. if we would get tired of the circumstance enough and we'd be able to forget about what everybody else thinks about us. It's hard. I know it's hard. But if we could push past worried what our neighbor's going to say. Push past worried being worried about even what maybe YOUR SPOUSE IS GOING to say and say I'm so sick of this thing. I don't care if people think I'm crazy. I don't think if people think I've lost my mind. I've got to have the Holy Ghost help me. HEY, I THANK GOD FOR THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME ON THE PEW, BUT HEY, I BELIEVE THERE'S SOMETHING HERE TONIGHT. THERE'S A WORD FOR ME. I THANK GOD FOR MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, BUT I DIDN'T JUST COME TO SEE THEM. I'VE COME TO SEE THE LORD. HEY, I WANT TO TELL YOU TODAY, THIS IS THE LAST PLACE. LET ME TELL YOU. LET ME TELL YOU THIS is the last place. The last place you should come and try to act like you've got it all together. We all do it. But this is the very last place in the world you should come and try to act like your life is perfect. Did you know that the church is a spiritual hospital for people that need God to help them? Could you imagine somebody going to a hospital who's messed up, maybe they've got a broken bone, AND THEY SIT ON THAT TABLE AND THE DOCTOR COMES TO examine them, and they try to all of the sudden act like nothing's wrong? Could you imagine having a disease that if you went to the hospital and got some medication put in you, that everything would be okay, but you get to that hospital and you don't want the doctor to think you're sick, so you act like everything's okay? How crazy is it that we come to the place that our answer is? HOW CRAZY IS IT THAT WE COME TO THE PLACE WHERE WHEN WE'RE SICK, we can get healed? WHERE WHEN WE'RE DEPRESSED, WE CAN GET RELIEF? WHERE WHEN EVERYTHING'S NOT OKAY, WE CAN COME AND GOD CAN HELP US WITH OUR SITUATION? HOW CRAZY IS IT THAT WE come into this place and act like everything's perfect? How crazy is that? TO BE IN A PLACE WHERE THE ANSWER you need is in the building, but because you're worried about what everybody else says or thinks, we leave with the same thing that we brought in. Well, I don't WANT THEM TO THINK I'M STRUGGLING. I DON'T WANT them to think that YOU KNOW, I MESSED UP. I DON'T WANT THEM TO THINK THAT I'M NOT SPIRITUAL. HEY, YOU'VE GOT TO GET PAST THAT. I'M TELLING YOU THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD, IF SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN WORRIED ABOUT WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE THOUGHT ABOUT HER, SHE WOULD HAVE NEVER GOTTEN HER MIRACLE. BUT, SHE CAME TO THE PLACE WHERE SHE HAD TO PUSH. SHE HAD TO CRAWL. SHE HAD TO GET HER WAY PAST THE MULTITUDE AND TOUCH JESUS. Blind Bartimaeus would have never received his miracle if he would have been worried about what everybody else thought about him. The Bible says he heard that Jesus was coming. And he began to lift up his voice and shout and holler and scream. And he screamed to the point that the people around him told him he needed to be quiet. And I tell you that's the way it is sometimes. Sometimes you may have to seem a little crazy to get what you need from God. But, Bartimaeus the Bible says lifted up his voice and cried out even the more. And because he forgot about what everybody else thought about him, Jesus stopped where he was at because there was something about desperation that God could not ignore. And can I just tell you tonight, I know it's something that you've never heard before, but if you could find yourself to where you'd get in the place where you'd be so desperate that it didn't matter if people around you said, "Hey, why don't you just calm down? And why don't you just wait a minute?" If If you

would GET TO THE PLACE WHERE YOU DIDN'T CARE WHAT THEY SAID TO YOU AND YOU DIDN'T CARE WHAT THEY THOUGHT ABOUT YOU, I I PROMISE YOU TODAY YOU COULD GET YOUR MIRACLE BEFORE YOU WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE. I'M PRAYING TODAY. I'VE GOT SOMEBODY IN THIS HOUSE WHO WOULD SAY, "I WANT JESUS MORE THAN I WANT THE OPINIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE. I'M MORE WORRIED ABOUT MY MIRACLE THAN I'M WORRIED ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME." WHEN WE DON'T WORRY ABOUT LOOKING CUTE, I'M TELLING YOU MIRACLES WILL HAPPEN. I'M hurrying tonight. The disciples were on the sea. The Bible says that they were in a storm. They were in a storm. No doubt they thought maybe this could be it. They thought Jesus has forsaken us. But the Bible says that the entire time they were in the storm, Jesus was watching them. He was watching them. The Bible says all of a sudden, in the midst of the storm, Jesus begins to walk on the water. Listen to this right here. The Bible says he would have passed them by. Think about that. These were the men that Jesus had spent so much time with. The men that Jesus loved and knew on such an intimate level, and they were in a storm. AND THEY WANTED SO BADLY TO COME OUT OF THE STORM, but they still had to cry out if they wanted Jesus to step in. He would have passed them by, But what stopped Jesus in his tracks was the fact that they began to cry out and say, "Jesus, we need help." There's something about a child of God who when you cry out and when you get sick of the situation that you're in, God will hear your prayer. He won't ignore you. He can't ignore you. I want to tell you tonight that his presence is in this house right now. I want to tell you you could get a miracle tonight. You could get a miracle tonight. I KNOW THERE'S ALREADY PEOPLE SITTING back and saying, "Man, I've heard this before and I've prayed for my miracle AND IT HADN'T HAPPENED." I FELT TO TELL A COUPLE stories today, two quick stories. I was preaching not far from here, actually, this past year and had the Holy Ghost speak to me and say that miracles were going to take place that night. I began to get up and tell people about different miracles that I had seen. I began to tell about a woman from our church in Buford, Georgia who was baptized and within minutes she had a heart attack and they took her into the hospital and they put her on life support and put her on a ventilator and they called the family and they and they said, "Hey, your mother's no longer with us." they said there's no brain activity, nothing's going on. This machine is doing all the breathing for her. they said, "We're just going to have to unplug her." long story short, there was a man from our church, ironically his name was Brother Sermon. and he taught Bible studies to her every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. for several years. This woman was brain dead for five days. Five days. And they came in and they said, "When do you want to unplug her?" They asked her son and daughter that and THEY ASKED BY THE SERVANT, "HEY, WHAT WAS THE TIME THAT YOU did the Bible study with our mother?" He said, "We did it every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m." So, they said, "That's when we want to unplug her." Brother servant, Wednesday at about 1:55 he came walking into that hospital and HE PUT HIS HAND ON HER ARM AND HE SAID, "SISTER JULIET, IT'S BIBLE STUDY TIME." AND I'M HERE TO TELL YOU TODAY THAT IN THE MOMENT HE SAID THOSE WORDS, SISTER JULIET OPENED UP HER EYES AND SHE BEGAN TO LOOK AROUND AND TALKING WITH HER FAMILY. HEY, I'M TELLING YOU TODAY GOD IS STILL IN THE BUSINESS OF DOING THE MIRACULOUS. BUT I began to tell that story. I began to tell a few different stories of miracles that I had seen. I told about how my daddy had died on the operating TABLE AND AND SOMEHOW BY A MIRACULOUS ENCOUNTER, HE CAME BACK INTO HIS BODY. I BEGAN TO TELL ABOUT BROTHER JEFF DYKES WHO I STOOD BY THE HOSPITAL BED WHEN

THEY SAID HE HAD A 1% CHANCE TO LIVE, BUT SOMEHOW THEY CAN'T EXPLAIN IT, BUT MIRACULOUSLY GOD RAISED HIM UP. There was a mother at the end of that and had everybody come up and pray and she came up and she had a baby with her. This baby had a very large growth on the right side of her face. I don't even think she was one. And she began to ask us to pray for this baby and we anointed the baby with oil and that was it. And I'm not going to go into all of it now, but I was very frustrated because I was expecting me to be able to see the miracles right there. And it seemed nothing happened. And I remember getting to the hotel that night. It's kind of soaking to be honest with you. I threw myself on the bed and I said, "God, I thought for sure you told me miracles were going to happen. I said, "I don't think a thing happened tonight." I was frustrated. I came to church. We were having church. I believe it was Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. This was on Tuesday night. Coming on Wednesday night and they have everybody be seated and this woman stands up. She says, "I have a testimony." I said, "Lord, I hope that baby got healed." I was kind of doubting it, but I hoped it. She began to stand up. She said, "I've got a testimony of what God did for my baby." She said, "After we prayed last night, with the atmosphere of faith, we were just believing God. She said, "We put our baby to bed last night and when we woke up this morning, she said, "That growth had gotten so small we could barely see it." SHE SAID, "IT EXCITED US SO MUCH THAT WE TOOK HER IN TO THE DOCTOR AND THE DOCTOR WAS LOOKING AT THE BABY AND SHE SAID, 'WELL, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THAT YOU WOULD ALREADY STARTED SURGERIES AND PROCEDURES.' AND THE MOTHER SAID, 'HEY, WE HADN'T DONE ANYTHING BUT PRAY FOR OUR BABY.' AND THE AND THE DOCTOR LOOKED AT THAT LADY. SHE SAID, 'I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED, BUT THERE'S NO SURGERY THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. THERE'S NO PROCEDURES THAT NEED TO BE DONE. YOUR BABY IS JUST FINE." AND YOU SAY GOD'S not doing the miraculous anymore. About 2 months ago I was preaching in Arkansas and I told that story right there and a woman came up with the baby with the exact same condition. Nobody was able to hold the baby cuz it had such a weak immune system. I think they said the grandmother had only held the baby like two times. She brought that baby up. I could tell she felt kind of awkward and kind of shy about it but she said, "WOULD YOU JUST PRAY FOR MY BABY THAT GOD WOULD HEAL HER?" AND I'LL BE HONEST ONCE AGAIN, I prayed for the baby and I didn't feel a thing. Isn't it amazing that's how it works sometimes? I didn't feel a thing. I didn't expect really anything to happen. Well, I left that revival. About a month later I get a call. They said, "MAN, THAT'S AMAZING WHAT HAPPENED WITH THAT BABY." I said, "What baby?" They said, "The baby from here in Arkansas." I said, "Well, what happened?" They said, "After that night, that baby completely received its healing. They said they took it to the doctor once again. They said, "WE CAN'T EXPLAIN IT BUT THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BABY." I JUST WANT TO tell you tonight that I don't care how many times people stand in a pulpit and say you can get a miracle. If you'd believe it, you really could get a miracle. You know the reason we SAY IT SO MUCH BECAUSE WE'VE SEEN IT HAPPEN. WE'VE SEEN WHEN THAT ONE PERSON WILL FINALLY LATCH ON TO IT. YOU MAY HAVE SAID IT A HUNDRED TIMES BEFORE BUT WHEN ONE PERSON FINALLY SAID, "THERE'S THE WORD I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I'M GOING TO ACT ON IT." I'M TELLING YOU, GOD WILL DO THE MIRACULOUS. MOVE ON TONIGHT QUICKLY. Let me tell you that people will always have something to say. If you ever do anything for God, people will always have something to say. 100% of the time. I wasn't going to say this, but it's too good to pass up. When Drew told me, since I've been here preaching, he said that somebody last week got on the live stream. They might be watching today. They're going to have something else funny to say, but he got on that live stream and he said, "My God, what is this kid saying?"

He said, "I preached better than this when I was 14 years old." Hey, I'm telling you people will always have something to say, so you better just get used TO IT. BUT ANYTIME YOU WANT TO DO ANYTHING FOR GOD, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THOSE WHO criticize you and make fun of you and have something to say. But hear me today when I tell you, those that make fun of you probably 99% of the time are doing a lot less than you. I think about this story. I know that verse I read seems to have nothing to do with what I've said so far. but I think about the context of the story. There was a multitude there who came out to hear the preaching of Jesus. Jesus did not want to turn them away. the Bible says lest they fall by the wayside because they didn't have any food. wanted to give them something to eat. The Bible says that the disciples began to go around and they found a young boy who had five loaves and two fish. We don't know, but if this boy just had common sense and he was human, he would have looked at the multitudes and said, "What is this going to do for everybody? We're We're to everybody take a little crumb. What in the world is five loaves and two fish going to do for thousands and thousands of people? Looking at it, it was an absolute impossibility if Jesus wasn't involved. I think how many of us tonight maybe we would have kept our five loaves and two fish because we would have said, "Well, this ain't going to do nothing for the multitudes. This ain't enough to change anything. this ain't enough to make a difference in anybody else's life." One of the disciples looked at the lad and he said, "Man, what are these among so many?" I looked at some other translations of that scripture. What difference will these make among so many? that's good, BUT WHAT GOOD is five loaves and two fish with this big of a crowd? They will certainly not be enough for all of these people. And finally, they won't go far enough to feed all the people. that's cute that you want to be used of God. That's cute that you want to win your family members. That's cute that you feel that you're called to preach and you feel that God's maybe called you to be a soul winner. But look at what you have to offer. Look at the things in your past. Look at the mistakes that you've made. WHAT ARE THEY AMONG SO MANY? HAS ANYBODY ever felt like that or is that just me? Has anybody ever looked at the job that we have to do and what in the world can I DO? WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL I BE ABLE TO MAKE, especially with what I have to offer? Let me be transparent with you tonight. It's it's easy sometimes to be in my shoes and feel very inadequate at times. For example, here I am tonight preaching one of the greatest churches in our movement. Your pastor is one of the most incredible preachers in our movement. You have the best of the best. You have the best preachers come through here. but can I tell you if I was to sit here and compare myself to your pastor and compare myself to other men of God that come through here, I would be so paralyzed from fear that I would not be behind this pulpit tonight. If I was to sit here and look at my talents compared to somebody else's talents. You talk about feeling like I'm not good enough. If I was to look at my wisdom compared to other preachers' wisdom, my ministry would be over. Why do you think the Bible says it's not wise to compare yourselves among yourselves? But can I tell you tonight that God didn't call me to be anybody but me. I remember I'm only a year and a half

into evangelizing, but one of my biggest fears starting out was I FELT LIKE WHEN SOMEBODY called me to come preach that some of you may know my dad, some of you may not, but I felt like people were expecting Tim Copeland when I came, I felt that if I didn't have the same spirit and didn't deliver the same messages and didn't do it in the same way that he delivered them, that I would be a disappointment. But I remember I remember the specific prayer meeting where I was praying and I was thinking about the legacy that my daddy has and I was thinking about all the revivals my daddy's preached and I was thinking about all the people that have gotten the Holy Ghost and I was feeling like it was such big shoes for me to have to step into and I WAS FEELING LIKE THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT. I'll never forget the moment. I felt something lift on me. When I felt the Holy Ghost speak to me and said, "I haven't called you to be your daddy. I've called you to be you." God did not call you to be somebody else. Did you know that when God called you, he knew exactly what he was getting? He did. When God called me, he already knew me before. He knew the mistakes I'd made and he knew the mistakes that I would make. He knew my insecurities. He knew my issues. And I may not understand it, but he still called Kenneth Copeland. I don't know why. I don't know why he chose me, but can I tell you I'm thankful that he did. And there's some of YOU THAT YOU'VE GOT TO REALIZE God didn't call you based on your talent because if IT WAS ALL ABOUT YOUR TALENT, YOU'D NEVER MAKE IT. GOD DIDN'T CALL YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR ABILITIES BECAUSE IF IT WAS ALL ABOUT YOUR ABILITIES, YOU WOULD NEVER MAKE IT. GOD DIDN'T CALL YOU FOR CERTAIN THINGS MAYBE JUST THAT YOU HAVE BECAUSE IF IT WAS ALL ABOUT YOU, YOU'D NEVER MAKE IT. YOU'VE GOT TO REALIZE THAT WHEN I GET IT GOD INVOLVED IN WHATEVER IT IS, LITTLE IS MUCH WHEN GOD IS IN IT. HEY, I MAY JUST HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF TALENT, BUT I'LL PUT IT IN GOD'S HANDS AND WATCH HIM MULTIPLY IT. I may just have a little bit of anointing right now. But if I can get it in the God's hands. What happened when the boy gave the five loaves and the two fish to Jesus? It was enough. It was enough. He fed the thousands and thousands and thousands. The Bible says he said, "Gather them all that nothing be lost." The Bible says the disciples went about picking up every broken piece of bread. Every crumb and putting it in the baskets. And after the 5,000 had eaten, there was 12 basketfuls of bread. All from five loaves. 12 basketfuls that were left over. Because they put it in the hands of Jesus, it was so multiplied that there was way more left over than he had ever even begun with. Did you know tonight it matters who you put what who whose hands you put what you have into. It matters who you tell things to. that's why you don't need to go around telling everybody your dreams. Maybe that sounds a little backwards. Joseph got himself in trouble cuz he told the wrong people his dreams. Some people won't believe in your dreams. Some people won't believe in the things that you feel that God has called you to do. But you can't worry about them. You just can't worry about them. You've got to step out and say, "God, I may not feel like I've got much to offer." Some of you are here today and you feel that you've wasted years and years. Let me be honest with you. Maybe we have. Maybe we have wasted time. Maybe we have wasted chances and opportunities. But if you would take what's left, if you would take what's left and put it into the hands of Jesus, you would be amazed at how much it would multiply. Somebody hear this tonight. There's more left than lost. You've got more left right now

than lost. You've got more left than opportunities that you've wasted. You may feel that I missed my time. Can I tell you? I don't know why I'm saying this. I just feel it. Did you know that Moses was 2/3 of the way done with his life before God spoke to him at the burning bush and told him what he wanted him to do. He was 80 years old when God spoke to him out of that burning bush and said, "I've got a work for you to do." Now, you may say, "Well, they lived a whole lot longer." That's true, but he died at 120. That's 2/3 of the way done with his life. That's like God initially calling somebody today at the age of around 50. And some of you are in your mid-20s and your late 20s, and even 30s and 40s, and you feel you've missed your chance. Can I tell you, I don't care what the devil's told you. Come to the music. I don't care what the devil's whispered in your ears. I don't care if he's told you you've made too many mistakes for God to use you. You hear me tonight. I'm a living testimony that it's never too late for God to use you. Hey, IF IF MISTAKES ALWAYS DISQUALIFY US FROM GOD USING US, I'd be the first to tell you that I wouldn't be standing here tonight. But, thank God he's a God of mercy. And he's a God that even when we make mistakes, we're able to get back up and dust ourselves off and keep going in the right direction. The Lord called Gideon. I'm almost done, I promise. And Gideon instantly began talking about why he would not be able to do what God had called him to do. He said, "Lord, I'm paraphrasing cuz I don't know it word for word, but basically, my tribe's the smallest tribe." He said, "Not only that, out of all the people in my tribe, I'm the least of all my brethren. I'm the least. Nobody's ever looked at me and said, 'God's going to use that young man. God's going to ever use that young woman.'" Gideon was confused. GOD, YOU'VE GOT THE WRONG GUY. BUT, GOD SAID, "NO, I DON'T. I know exactly who you are, and I know exactly what you've got to offer." And because Gideon took what little he thought he had, and he put it into the hands of God, unbelievable things happened in his life, and he became one of the greatest leaders that you find in the word of God. Sometimes we don't feel that we have much to offer. We don't feel that we've got much to profit the kingdom of God. Let me just say it one more time. Get your eyes off everybody else. Get your eyes off yourself. And get your eyes on him. Hey, I I said earlier you can't focus on what everybody else is doing and what everybody else is saying, but just as true as that is, you can't be so focused on yourself that you forget God is more powerful than anything in my past. God's more powerful than my insecurities, my problems, my circumstances, my mistakes, and my failures. If you just take what you have left and put it into the hands of Jesus, unbelievable things would happen in your life. I wish I had somebody here tonight who would close your eyes right now. Who would close your eyes and say, "God, I may feel that I've wasted chances. I should be light years ahead of where I am right now. BUT GOD, THERE'S NOTHING THAT I CAN DO ABOUT THE PAST, BUT THERE IS SOMETHING I can do about the future. So, I'm going TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT I have ahead of me. I'm going to take the things, GOD, THAT YOU'VE GOT IN STORE FOR ME. I'M GOING TO TAKE THE TIME THAT I'VE GOT AHEAD OF ME. AND I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU WHAT'S LEFT. And I've got enough faith to believe that when I put what's left into your hands, it will be so much more than I ever thought it would be. There's more left than lost. THERE'S MORE LEFT than lost. Stand with me tonight, all over the house. There's some of you God's got works for you to do.

Souls to win. Messages to preach. People to witness to. And you've missed opportunities because we've been focused on me, me, me. I could never do that. Recently I've looked at pastors people that are light years ahead of me and thought I'll never get to where they're at. I'll never preach a message just like that. I'll never be as anointed as they are. It's easy to feel that way. Don't feel bad about it. Don't feel bad that you feel that you've wasted time. But I've got to realize that if I can take what little I have and put it in the hands of Jesus it'll multiply exponentially. It'll multiply. I close with this in the book of Acts chapter 3. There's a man that was laid at the gate of the temple called beautiful. Every day he was asking alms of people that entered into the temple. The Bible says Peter and John came at the hour of prayer. They asked for or he asked them for some alms. He said, "Do you have any money? Anything you can spare for me?" Peter looked at him and said, "I don't have silver and I don't have gold." People may have looked at him and said, "Man, he ain't got nothing to offer." He doesn't have anything that the kingdom of God could profit from. Peter said, "I may not have this I may not have that but such as I have give I thee. What I've got left I'm willing to pour it out. I'm willing to give it. I wonder if I've got anybody tonight who would look at the Lord and say, "Such as I have give I thee." Elisha said to the woman, "What do you have left in your house?" She said, "I don't have much TO OFFER. ALL I'VE GOT IS A LITTLE POT OF OIL." ELISHA SAID, "WELL, THAT'S PERFECT." He said, "Take what you have left and you give it and it will multiply and it will multiply." I wonder if you lift your hands where you're at right now. Come on, you feeling that? Come on, you feel that? Come on, you feel THAT? I FEEL THE Holy Ghost. I FEEL THE ANOINTING RIGHT NOW. GOD'S NOT DONE WITH YOU. COME ON, YOU BETTER HEAR THIS YOUNG PREACHER TONIGHT. I DON'T CARE THE MISTAKES YOU'VE MADE. GOD'S NOT DONE WITH YOU. THERE'S A WORK TO BE DONE. THERE'S AN ANOINTING TO BE HAD. THERE'S MESSAGES TO BE PREACHED. THERE'S SOULS TO BE MINISTERED TO. THERE'S FAMILY MEMBERS TO BE WON. THERE'S PRAYERS TO BE PRAYED. TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE left and put it into the hands of Jesus. Come on, if you're willing tonight, why don't you step out? Come on, IF YOU'RE WILLING TONIGHT TO GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE LEFT, YOU MAY NOT FEEL THAT IT'S MUCH BUT WHY DON'T YOU PUT it in the hands of Jesus? Come on, THE LITTLE WOMAN CAME AND SHE ONLY HAD TWO MITES TO GIVE, PEOPLE LAUGHED. PEOPLE SAID, "MAN, SHE AIN'T GOT NOTHING TO OFFER. SHE AIN'T GOT NOTHING TO PROFIT THE CHURCH. SHE AIN'T GOT NOTHING TO PROFIT THE KINGDOM. HOW DID SHE GET IN THIS MESS?" BUT BECAUSE SHE TOOK WHAT LITTLE SHE HAD AND PUT IT IN THE RIGHT PLACE. THE BIBLE SAYS JESUS SAW THAT. THE BIBLE SAYS JESUS TOOK NOTE OF IT. Because she took everything she had left. And she put it into the hands of Jesus. Come on, why don't you say, "God, I'm going to take what I've got left." COME ON, WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT. COME ON, I DON'T BELIEVE WE'VE GOT MUCH TIME BEFORE THE COMING OF THE LORD. WHY DON'T YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT TONIGHT THAT GOD, I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH TIME WE'VE GOT LEFT. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES I'M GOING TO HAVE. I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MORE CHANCES I'M GOING TO HAVE, BUT I'M GOING TO TAKE WHAT I HAVE LEFT AND PUT IT INTO THE HANDS OF JESUS. I'M GOING TO TAKE THE GIFTS THAT I HAVE. HEY, I MAY NOT FEEL THAT IT'S MUCH. I MAY NOT FEEL THAT IT'S WORTH MUCH, BUT I'M GOING TO TAKE IT AND I'M GOING TO WATCH YOU MULTIPLY IT.

COME ON, IF that's your desire, I wish I could hear you cry. Come on, if that's YOUR DESIRE, I WISH I COULD HEAR YOU PRAY. COME ON. HERE IT IS, JESUS. HERE IT IS, JESUS. COME ON, YOU OUGHT TO TAKE WHAT YOU HAVE AND PUT IT AS AN OFFERING BEFORE THE LORD. GOD, HERE'S EVERYTHING I HAVE LEFT. I'M GOING TO POUR OUT OF MYSELF TONIGHT. I'M GOING TO POUR OUT EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE AND I'M GOING TO WATCH IT GROW. COME ON, YOU'VE GOT TO GET SICK OF BEING IN the same place. Come on. YOU'VE GOT TO GET SICK OF BEING IN THE SAME SPOT. YOU'VE GOT TO SAY I'D RATHER DIE THAN STAY IN THE SAME SPOT. WHEN YOU FEEL THAT WAY, YOU WILL BEGIN TO GROW. YOU'LL BEGIN TO GROW. Come on. God will take that anointing. And he'll increase it times A HUNDRED. COME ON. GOD WILL TAKE THAT GIFT HE'S GIVEN YOU. AND AS YOU BEGIN TO CULTIVATE IT, AND AS YOU BEGIN TO WALK IN THAT GIFT, IT'LL GROW AND GROW UNTIL YOU DON'T EVEN RECOGNIZE IT ANYMORE. COME ON. Come on. WOULD YOU REALLY PRAY TONIGHT? COME ON. WOULD YOU REALLY PRAY? I'M GIVING MYSELF AWAY. COME ON. YOU SANG IT FOR YEARS. WHY DON'T YOU REALLY PRAY IT THIS TIME? COME ON. DON'T JUST SAY I GIVE MYSELF AWAY. WHY DON'T YOU REALLY DO IT THIS TIME? SOMEBODY GIVE A SHOUT. IF YOU CAN USE ANYTHING, LORD, YOU CAN USE ME. WHY DON'T YOU REALLY MEAN IT TONIGHT? COME ON. DON'T JUST SAY IT WITH YOUR LIPS. YOU NEED TO SAY IT WITH YOUR HEART. COME ON. YOU NEED TO GIVE YOURSELF AWAY WITH YOUR HEART. DON'T JUST SAY IT WITH YOUR MOUTH. DON'T JUST SING IT WITH YOUR MOUTH. SAY IT FROM YOUR HEART. I GIVE MYSELF AWAY
