Well, I found I found the services where God always wants to do the greatest and the most things are also going to be the services that the devil fights us the most. But I'm thankful to know that greater is he that's within me than he that's within this world. thankful there's been saints and people part of FPC that have been coming by this church this week and been praying and boy we we desperately need his help tonight, don't we? Hard to have hard to have church by yourself. I don't want to do it tonight. I want God's anointing to be in this house. It's the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter number 7. I want to preach to you if the Holy Ghost will help me for just a little while on this simple subject. Replacing God. Replacing God. I'm telling you, the Holy Ghost is going to come and is going to reach for somebody in this house today. But we've got to make sure we're in a position to receive it tonight. And I wonder if all over this house if you're filled with the Holy Ghost and you're willing to get under the burden with me for what I felt with this service. Would you stretch your hands towards heaven one more time? Oh, come on. Come on. Praying saints. I need you to help me right now. Don't leave me by myself tonight. Oh, God. BUT I'M GOING TO PRAY TILL I FEEL SOMETHING IN THIS HOUSE. OH, HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. I ask you I ask you for the duration of this message that you would please bring your attention in with me tonight. You can be seated. Thank you for standing, helping me pray. Hallelujah. Boy, I feel the anointing in this house. Hallelujah. Boy, if there's if there's ever been a day, if there has ever been an age in which we better make sure we got the real thing, there's so much counterfeit going on in our world today. There's so many fakes. There's so many phonies. There's so many churches and and moves, I guess you could call them, where they're so close to the real thing, but they're just missing something. We think of something or someone that is taking the place of God, replacing God. Maybe we think of an atheist who would shake their fist in the face of God and declare that there is no God. And I've come to tell you that there are so-called Christians all over this world today who have learned how to replace God. People that were gathered into their churches all over this world on this weekend and they gathered in and they gave of their money and they gave of their time and their talents and their ability, but they had no real move of the Holy Ghost. They may have carried their Bibles with them. They may have sung in the choir. They may have been a good person. But many of them come to church and they have nothing that changes them. Somebody once powerhouses of the Holy Ghost have declined into nothing more than a place that has a form of godliness, but somehow they have lost their power. Churchgoers have learned how to replace the presence of God with substitutes. We have a generation today that is trying to have church without God. Trying to have singing without anointing. Trying to have preaching made up of intellect rather than raw real anointing. We have churches that have learned how to replace the true anointing of God with programs and with music and with lights. And we have youth groups that learned how to replace prayer with shouting and music. when we learn how to go through the mechanics of worship without having anything change deep down on the inside of us, I'm telling you something is wrong. Yeah. When we learn how to go through the mechanics of church and go home and have nothing be different in our lives, we better step back and make sure we've got our priorities right. Tell you the greatest combination you can have is shouting and worship and praise, but only when it's backed up by a real prayer life. If you want something that will keep you, I want to encourage my generation. Keep coming to church and KEEP SHOUTING AND KEEP RUNNING AND KEEP DANCING. BUT WHEN YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING, YOU BETTER GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY ALL OVER AGAIN. I'M TELLING YOU, I DID NOT COME ON A TUESDAY NIGHT TO GO THROUGH THE RITUALS AND THE ROUTINES OF A CASUAL SERVICE ON THE NIGHT. I DID NOT COME TO GET THROUGH A SERVICE. I DID NOT COME TO GET A LITTLE TOUCH. I DID NOT COME TO GET A LITTLE BLESSING. I CAME TO HAVE SOMETHING MOVE. I CAME TO HAVE SOMETHING CHANGE. I COME TO HAVE SOMETHING TRANSFORMED. HALLELUJAH. How many times in my life have I learned how to go through the motions of church and never really have anything be different in my life? Yeah, many churches today have the words apostolic on their sign, but what they should have is KABAD BECAUSE THE GLORY OF THE LORD HAS DEPARTED FROM THERE. I'M TELLING YOU, THERE ARE PEOPLE ALL OVER AMERICA TODAY THAT ARE SITTING IN CHURCHES THAT ARE DYING. AND THERE'S YOUNG PEOPLE THAT ARE SITTING IN GROUPS WHERE PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR DESIRE FOR GOD. AND THEY'VE LOST THEIR DESIRE FOR THE REAL AUTHENTIC MOVE OF THE HOLY GHOST. I JUST WANT TO PREACH TO YOU TODAY. IF WE'RE GOING TO GET THE JOB DONE IN THIS LAST DAY, IT'S NOT GOING TO BE A PHONY ANOINTING. THAT'S GOING TO DO IT. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE A SHALLOW PRAYER MEETING. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE WEAK

PRE-ERVICE PRAYER. IT'S GOING TO BE MEN AND WOMEN THAT KNOW HOW TO GET ANOINTED, THAT KNOW HOW TO GET IN THE HOLY GHOST. COME ON. WHY DON'T YOU LIFT YOUR HANDS in this house RIGHT NOW? COME ON. THERE'S SOME MEN AND WOMEN THAT ARE ANOINTED IN THIS HOUSE. THERE'S SOME MEN AND WOMEN THAT KNOW HOW TO PRAY. GOD, THANK YOU FOR IT. DON'T EVER LET US LOSE THAT. GOD. HALLELUJAH. I cannot be satisfied with a knockoff version of what my father had. Yeah. God help. Well, we're we're we're learning. I'm preaching to me. I'm I'm preaching to my generation. We're we're learning that that where we lack in prayer and where we lack in study, we're learning how to make up in performance, my God. Where we lack in consecration, we're learning how to make up in charisma. WHERE WE LACK IN DEDICATION, we're learning how to make UP IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MIND. WHAT WHAT WE LACK IN ANOINTING, WE'RE LEARNING HOW TO MAKE UP IN TALENT. I WANT TO TELL YOU IN THIS HOUSE ONE MORE TIME, I DIDN'T COME TO PREACH PRETTY. I COME TO PREACH ANOINTED IN THIS HOUSEH. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE PRETTY PREACHING. IT'S NOT GOING TO BE POLISHED PREACHING. THAT'S GOING TO BREAK THE YOKE OFF OF YOU. IT'S GOING TO BE THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY GHOST. All throughout this Bible, you you read about a God who had such an intense desire to have a relationship with his people. And you read about a people who wanted nothing else but to not have a relationship with him. take you all the way back to the book of Genesis and tell you a story about a young man by the name of Cain. Cain had been in the presence of God. Cain knew what it was to approach the altar of the Lord and to speak to God and for God to speak to him. IF I CAN SAY IT LIKE THIS ON TONIGHT, CAIN knew what it was to come to church. HE HE KNEW WHAT IT WAS TO HEAR PREACHING AND SINGING. HE HE KNEW WHAT IT WAS TO COME TO THE ALTAR. BUT SOMEWHERE HE GOT IT TWISTED IN HIS MIND. SOMEWHERE HE STARTED THINKING THAT HE COULD DO IT BETTER THAN THE WAY THAT GOD HAD COMMANDED HIM TO DO IT. YEAH. I know God is asking for this, but surely surely this substitute will work. Yeah. It's still it's still something good. It's still something profitable. And and the Bible says that the Lord had no respect for the offering of Cain. Cain found this out and that his brother's offering was accepted. The Bible says that Cain was angry that Cain was wroth. AND GOD APPEARED TO HIM AND SAID, "CAIN, WHY ARE YOU SO ANGRY? WHAT IS IT THAT YOU ARE SO MAD ABOUT?" AND WE SEE IN THIS MOMENT, GOD STEP IN AND EXTEND A HAND of mercy AND EXTEND A HAND OF GRACE. AND SAY, "CAN I KNOW YOU DIDN'T DO IT THE WAY I TOLD YOU TO DO IT? I KNOW YOU DIDN'T OFFER IT THE WAY I TOLD YOU TO OFFER IT.", BUT I'VE COME TO EXTEND YOU MERCY, AND I'VE COME TO EXTEND YOU GRACE. I WONDER IF I'VE GOT ANYBODY IN THIS HOUSEHOLD THAT WHEN YOU CAME TO GOD THE WRONG WAY, AND WHEN YOU MESSED UP AND MADE MISTAKES, THAT HE DIDN'T THROW YOU AWAY. He said, "Cain, if you'll just fix your attitude, I'll forgive you and I will accept your offering if you do it the right way." Then God delivers what in my opinion is one of the scariest phrases in this entire Bible. Here's what he said. Sin is lying at the door. Another translation said it like this. Sin is crouching at the door and you are sin's desire. Now, I want to tell somebody in this house today that just because we're in the church and just because we're filled with the Holy Ghost and just because we come to service Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Tuesday night, that that does not exempt you from the fact that that sin is waiting for just one little moment, one little moment of weakness where you can let YOUR GUARD DOWN. ONE ONE LITTLE MOMENT WHERE YOU'LL JUST CRACK OPEN THAT DOOR JUST A LITTLE BIT.

AND I'M TELLING YOU THE SAME IS TRUE TODAY. THAT SIN IS LYING OUT THE DOOR. AND I'M TELLING YOU, I'M SIN'S DESIRE AND YOU'RE SIN'S DESIRE. AND ON THAT DAY, CAIN CAME TO A CROSSROAD IN HIS LIFE. HE COULD EITHER REPENT AND SERVE GOD OR HE COULD TURN AND WALK away and decide to do everything his own way. What an opportunity he had after the mistake, after not doing it the way that God said to do it, that he would still extend him mercy. Cain went out and chose the wrong path, finds himself in a field looking down and seeing his brother laying on the ground. And he is responsible for the act. No doubt the haunting memories of that day would would play in his mind over and over and over again as the first murder that had ever occurred in human history was done by his own hand. I'm telling you, sin sin has such a way I'm preaching to you what I know. Sin has such a way of of taking you so much further than than you ever dreamed IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU WOULD GO. I'M TELLING YOU, THERE WAS NO DOUBT. THERE WAS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND. CAIN WOULD HAVE NEVER IMAGINED GROWING UP WITH HIS BROTHER THAT HE WOULD HAVE THE POTENTIAL AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE THE ABILITY IN HIMSELF TO TAKE AWAY HIS LIFE. BUT WHEN GOD TOLD HIM SIN IS LYING OUT THE DOOR AND HE DID NOT HEED THE WARNING, I'M TELLING YOU, SIN CAME INTO HIS LIFE AND IT BECAME SO MUCH GREATER THAN HE WOULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED IN HIS LIFE. I WANT TO REMIND YOU ONE MORE TIME. SIN WILL STILL TAKE YOU FURTHER THAN YOU EVER WANTED TO GO. IT'LL KEEP YOU LONGER THAN YOU WANT TO STAY AND IT'LL COST YOU MORE THAN YOU WANT TO PAY. I WISH I HAD AN EX BACKSLIDER IN THIS HOUSEH THAT WOULD SAY THAT'S THE TRUTH. IF SOME GOD CAN SAVE SOMEBODY FROM WHAT I HAD TO GO THROUGH. You know what I found out? I cannot handle sin. Sin will handle me. The day you start trusting your flesh is the day you start to fall. The day you start thinking you can do it without prayer is the same day you begin to fall. It's Paul that said, "I know that in me that is in My flesh dwelleth no good thing. No good thing. For the will is present with me, but how to perform that which is good I find not. I remember I remember as a young man hearing somebody older than me make a statement. And here's what they said. They said, "I've just been hurt so many times that I have found that the only person I can trust is myself." I'm telling you how backwards they had it. last. You know who causes 99% of my problems? It's the one that's staring back at me when I look in the mirror. The sooner I will realize the last person I can trust is my flesh. AND THE LAST THING I NEED TO DO IS PUT CONFIDENCE IN MY OWN FLESH AND MY OWN ABILITY TO SAY NO AND TO NOT DO WHAT I KNOW I SHOULDN'T DO. I WANT TO PREACH TO SOMEBODY. I DON'T HAVE THE DISCIPLINE TO NOT FALL TO SIN. I DON'T HAVE THE WHEREWITHAL IN MY THERE IS BUT ONE WAY I CAN LIVE RIGHT AND DO RIGHT AND ACT RIGHT AND THINK RIGHT. IT'S BY TAKING MY FLESH TO AN ALTAR. God said Cain because of what you've done to put a curse on you. You're going to be a fugitive and you're going to be a vagabond in the earth. You're going to wander here and you're going to wander there. And no matter where you go, no matter what you do, you're not going to find fulfillment IN YOUR LIFE. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FIND SATISFACTION. IT IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU ACCOMPLISH IN TERMS OF THIS WORLD. WHEN YOU GET SENT FROM THE PRESENCE OF GOD, AND YOU DON'T HAVE GOD IN YOUR LIFE, I'M TELLING YOU, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SATISFACTION WITHOUT GOD. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS CONTENTMENT. I NEED A WITNESS IN THIS

HOUSE. THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS CONTENTMENT. can't help but believe with all my heart with all my heart that even after killing his own brother that if he would have repented oh God when I read for my Bible I read about a God of unbelievable mercy I read about Ahab have who the Bible would say was the most evil and wicked king that Israel had ever had. And in one moment after a lifetime of sin, in one moment of humbling himself and repenting, God said, "Look at how he humbled himself. I'm going to give him mercy. I'm going to give him grace." I I read about a God of mercy and grace. I I can't help but believe that that in that moment, God would have extended him mercy. But instead of repenting, he begins to complain about the punishment. Ever seen somebody that's that's they're not sorry for their sin, but they're sorry they got caught in their sin? I'm telling you, that's where Cain was. He he was not worried about losing his relationship with God. He was worried about how hard his life was going to be. HE BEGINS TO COMPLAIN AND SAID, "GOD, I'M GOING TO BE A FUGITIVE AND A VAGABOND. I'm going to wander HERE. I'M GOING TO WANDER THERE." HE SAID, "I I I MAY SEEK YOU, BUT I WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND YOU." Then we read one of the most disturbing and sad verses in all of your Bible, and it is this. And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and DWELT IN THE LAND OF NOD. CAIN LEFT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. HERE IS A MAN THAT AT ONE TIME HE TALKED TO GOD. HERE IS A MAN AT ONE TIME HE HEARD THE VOICE OF THE LORD. HERE IS A MAN AT ONE TIME THAT TALKED WITH HIM AND MADE SACRIFICES UNTO GOD., I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TONIGHT TO A MANUH THAT AS LONG AS HE LIVED, NEVER AGAIN FELT THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY GHOST., CAN YOU IMAGINE WITH ME TONIGHT, A MAN THAT HAD TALKED WITH GOD, NEVER being able to hear his voice again? A man who had who had felt his presence. A man who had heard his voice so clearly, never being able to feel the presence of God again. Cain must have known and understood that when he left God, when he left the presence of God, that if he was going to have if he was going to find any satisfaction out of life, he was going to have to learn how to do it by himself. He was going to have to try and replace the void in his life that God had always filled. He was going to have to try and and forget about the time that God extended him mercy and said, "If you'll do well, I forgive you. If you'll just repent, I will restore you." AS HE LEFT THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, NEVER TO ENTER AGAIN. I WANT TO TELL YOU, HE ENTERED INTO THE LAND OF NODU. THE LAND OF NOD LITERALLY MEANS THE LAND OF WANDERING. THE LAND WHERE YOU CANNOT FIND SATISFACTION. HE WAS TRYING TO FORGET ABOUT GOD. TRYING TO FORGET ABOUT THE LOVE OF GOD. AND THE MERCY OF GOD. I WANT TO SHOW YOU TODAY THE PROCESS THAT HE WENT THROUGH TO try and forget about all that God had done for him. I believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. I don't believe there's one verse that is in this Bible that is there by mistake. Why is it that there are so many verses about a man who left the presence of God to never experience it again? WHY WHY DID GOD WHY DIDN'T HE JUST DROP THE SUBJECT? WHY? WHY IS IT THAT THERE'S SO MANY VERSES THAT TELL US WHAT CAIN DID AND WHAT THE SONS OF CAIN DID? I'LL TELL YOU WHY. I BELIEVE IT'S BECAUSE GOD WANTS US TO UNDERSTAND THE TREACHEROUS AND THE DEVASTATING ROAD THAT ANY PERSON WHO HAS EVER EXPERIENCED

GOD MUST GO THROUGH IF THEY'RE EVER GOING TO LEARN HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT HIM. He entered into the land of nod. It was a place of exile. Was a place of banishment. It was a place of unsettledness. Have you ever met somebody in the land of nod and the land of wandering where where they're not really going anywhere in their life? They're they're going without purpose. They're going without direction and they put their hand to this and it does not last long before they put it here and they put it there and it does not matter what they do. They're seeking for some way to satisfy the void. THEY'RE SEEKING FOR SOME WAY TO FIND FULFILLMENT WITHOUT GOD. I'M TELLING YOU, THEY'RE SEEKING A WAY TO TRY AND FILL A VOID THAT CAN ONLY BE FILLED BY GOD. I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU IN THIS HOUSE., I WANT TO TELL YOU ABOUT A TIME IN MY LIFE., WHEN I'D WALKED AWAY,, I MAY HAVE STILL BEEN THERE PHYSICALLY., BUT I'M TELLING YOU, I WAS A MILLION MILES AWAY FROM GOD., AND I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU WHAT I HAD TO DO IN those moments. I had to do everything in my power to just stay busy. reason some of y'all stay so busy in your life is because the moment you slow down there's a voice that starts speaking in the in the back of your head that says you know one day you know one day you're going to have to stand before the judgment SEAT OF CHRIST YOU YOU KNOW ONE DAY YOU KNOW ONE DAY YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE AN ACCOUNT OF YOURSELF I'M TELLING YOU ABOUT A TIME WHEN I COULDN'T EVEN RIDE DOWN THE ROAD WITHOUT HAVING MUSIC PLAYING OR LISTEN TO SOMETHING. WHY? BECAUSE IF I WAS TO STOP, THAT VOICE OF CONVICTION WOULD BEGIN TO SPEAK TO ME AND SAY, "YOU NEED TO REPENT. YOU NEED TO TURN BACK TO GOD." I'm going to tell somebody in this house, some of you have got the curse of busyiness. You're so busy with life and you're so busy with trying. Boy, I feel the Holy Ghost in this house. You're so busy with trying to make another dollar. You're you're so BUSY WITH THIS HOBBY AND THAT HOBBY AND YOU'RE TRYING TO FIND THIS AND YOU PUT YOUR HAND THERE. NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, YOU'RE NOT FINDING FULFILLMENT. YOU'RE GOING THROUGH LIFE SAYING THERE'S GOT TO BE MORE THAN WHAT I'M EXPERIENCING. SURELY THERE'S MORE TO LIFE THAN NO MATTER WHAT I DO, I JUST CAN'T BE SATISFIED. I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU IN THIS HOUSE, AS LONG AS YOU ARE AWAY FROM GOD, YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO BE SATISFIED. LET'S PRAY. Come on, FPC. Let's pray. Got to stay busy. I got to stay busy cuz as soon as I stop, got to keep working. Got to keep pushing. Got to keep going here. Got to got to find something new. How long are you going to run? You think it's by coincidence that the very next verse after Cain leaves the presence of God that he builds a city. You talk about a good way to to stay busy. Leaves the presence of God and he puts his hand to trying to accomplish the biggest thing that he could accomplish. If I'm going to forget God, I've got to stay busy. If I'm going to forget about all those

altar calls, I'm going to have to stay busy. IF I'M GOING TO FORGET ABOUT ALL THOSE SERMONS, I'm going to I'm GOING TO HAVE TO GET MY HAND ON SOMETHING. AND I'M GOING TO HAVE TO STAY IF I'M GOING TO FIND ANY SATISFACTION IN MY LIFE, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO STAY BUSY. CAIN has kids and he tries to raise them to do it the exact same way he was doing it. Bible says that one by the name of Lamech, listen to this. He's the first person in your Bible that began to take God's order of marriage and twist it. He's the first polygamist that you read about in your Bible. He doesn't need God's ways. He can stay busy. He's learned how to silence the voice of God. Another descendant of Cain was a man by the name of Jabel. He was the first one who was so restless. He's the first nomad that you read about in your Bible. The first man that never put down solid roots in one place, but he was wandering here and he was wandering there. He could not stay still in one place. Another descendant of Cain was a man by the name of Jubel. From him, the Bible tells us, came the harp and the organ. Point is, every one of these descendants, boy, they just had to do something. The haunting memory of that day, the voice of God saying, Cain, if you'll do well, I'll forgive you. Oh God, the only way I can get that voice to shut up is to stay busy. I'm reaching for somebody, man, you've accomplished in life. You've made a lot of money. You've done a lot of things, but you're still not satisfied. I'm reaching for somebody. You have tried everything in this world that you can think of. But you're as empty today as you've ever been. I'm telling you what I feel in the Holy Ghost. I'm not I'm reaching for some young people today, but I'm reaching for some mamas and I'm reaching for some I'm tell I'm telling you in the Holy Ghost today, there's some mothers in this house that even this week, you've had thoughts about just throwing it all away. Some of you had thoughts of, "But what if I just what if I just threw in the towel?" I'm not I'm not just talking about walking away.
