Summary

Summary prepared by Acts 2:38 Life from the transcript below — the preacher’s words follow in full.

With the whole heart

  • He receives the service from the host pastor's exhortation — "God, don't ever let us take this for granted, to be able to be in this atmosphere and feel what we feel; what a privilege, what an honor" — honors Brother Robinson and his family and Brother Parks and his wife, and reads the first two verses of Psalm 119: "Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart." His title is taken from that phrase: With the Whole Heart. Brother Robinson is right, he says: God only responds to people who respond to Him, and He is moved by the feeling of our infirmities — if someone in this house makes up their mind, "I will not leave how I came," they will get exactly what they came looking for.

Scriptures: Psalm 119:1-2

Going through the motions

  • One of the worst seasons of his life was when he learned how to come to church and go through the motions — clap when everybody clapped, say amen when everybody said amen — while deep down his heart was far from God. One of the most miserable feelings is laying your head on the pillow realizing you gave the bare minimum, just enough to get through what you had to do. As an evangelist he knows the feeling of pulling out of a church parking lot thinking: if I had given a little more, prayed a little more, fasted a little more — what would have happened if I had really put my heart into it? If you are not going to put your heart into what you are doing, what is the point of doing it? The world is sick of patty-cake Christianity that goes home unchanged; what it is looking for is a red-hot old-time Apostolic church where people still get healed and filled with the Holy Ghost. Solomon wrote, "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might" — don't put half your heart in it. If I'm going to worship, I want to really worship; if I'm going to praise, I don't want to praise lazy or because I feel I have to — I want to praise Him with all my heart. Growing up playing basketball at the church, nothing was more frustrating than a teammate who did not care whether the team won or lost; he would rather have the less talented player who gives effort than the talented one who does not put his heart into it. Our world is casual about everything — jobs, marriages, relationships — but that spirit of laziness and apathy will not find a place in this church.

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully

  • He read a scripture a couple of weeks ago that he had never seen this way: Jeremiah 48:10, "Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully." Any time he sees the word "cursed" in the Bible he hits pause to make sure he does not fall in that category. The word rendered "deceitfully" literally means slothful, slack, with idle hands — one translation puts it: cursed is he who does the work of the Lord but does not do it with all his heart. "I cannot afford to preach and not have my heart in this thing. I cannot afford to pray and not have my heart in it. I can't afford to sing — I don't care what I'm doing, if I'm doing it for the Lord, I want to do it with all my heart, with all my soul." How many times has he knelt to pray casually, praying more to knock it off his list than to get a hold of God? He tells of a trip to Honduras with his dad when he was fifteen or sixteen: his mother had drilled into them, "Don't lose your passport." One day he could not find it — digging through luggage, searching the hotel room, retracing restaurants and coffee shops while dread and fear built — until he found it behind a forgotten zipper in his backpack and the relief washed over him. And the Holy Ghost spoke to him: "Clark, when was the last time you sought Me like that? When was the last time there was an urgency in you that said, 'My God, what am I going to do if I don't find Him today?'" There ought to be a fear in us tonight about what would happen if God did not do everything He wants to do.

Scriptures: Jeremiah 48:10

Not enough to know — you've got to love Him

  • There is nothing worse than somebody who knows the truth but does not love it — who uses Deuteronomy 6:4 as a weapon to cut and destroy instead of a tool of revelation. The Shema, which Jesus called the greatest commandment, does not stop at "Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God is one LORD"; it continues, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." It is not enough to know there is one God — you've got to love Him. It is not enough to know why you have to be baptized — you've got to love it and get your heart in it. How many times does a preacher say "Why don't you love Him tonight, why don't you lift your hands?" and we do it begrudgingly, only because somebody asked? "I don't want to just know this doctrine — I want to love this doctrine. I don't want to just know this truth — I want to love it with all my heart."

Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Seek Him with all your heart

  • Deuteronomy 4:29 says, "If from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." Jeremiah 29:13 says, "Ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." And James 5:16 points to the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man — that is what gets God's attention; casual prayer does not move God. Zacchaeus was so desperate for Jesus' attention that he climbed a tree; Bartimaeus lifted his voice and cried, "Jesus, Thou Son of David" — you don't do that kind of thing when your heart is not involved. New Bethel, there are too many people in this world, and too many in this house who need a miracle, the Holy Ghost, and deliverance, for us to have casual church.

Scriptures: Deuteronomy 4:29; Jeremiah 29:13; James 5:16

Jacob pursued; Esau did not care

  • His mind goes to two twin brothers in Scripture of whom the Bible says God loved one and hated the other — not because one had more talent, ability, personality, or advantages, but because one pursued and the other did not. God loved Jacob's pursuit of Him; He hated Esau's lazy, apathetic, uncaring approach. We never read that Esau was immoral or wicked — his problem was worse: he just didn't care. Spiritual things meant nothing to him; he would rather trade his birthright for a bowl of soup, satisfying a temporary appetite instead of receiving an eternal inheritance. He tells of a man in a revival who begged the pastor for help because his marriage was falling apart and they were thinking of divorce — and then, when service began and God could have fixed it, stood there unconcerned, unbothered, indifferent, refusing to move, refusing to change. How do people come to church and not put their heart in it when what happens here is a matter of life and death? Grown men will work hard on their jobs and never let anyone else take up their slack, yet come to church and sit back while their wives and children lead; the Bible says if a man does not work, he does not eat — and spiritually, if I will not get involved and pray, I cannot expect to be fed. David said, "When Thou saidst, Seek ye My face; my heart said unto Thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek."

No regrets in the parking lot

  • He tells Brother Robinson he is hungry for greater, hungry for revival — and one thing he has found: there has never been a time God did not answer when he was willing to be hungry and to put effort and time behind it. He believes he would be cursed if he learned to preach through the mechanics without his heart in it. How can he walk into a house where young people need deliverance and the Holy Ghost and not be concerned with what happens? "I will not pull out of this parking lot with any regrets." There have been times he pulled out of churches thinking, "You didn't give your all — you didn't pray as much as you should have prayed. What would have happened if you had put everything into that revival?" Some in the house remember how sweet it was when their heart used to be in it, how much they looked forward to church — life tries to take the joy out of living for God. The message drives toward the altar: don't give God half-hearted prayer; pray with all your heart tonight.

God, don't ever let us take this for granted. Be able to be in this atmosphere. Feel what we feel. What a privilege. What an honor. I want to turn your attention to the book of Psalms chapter 119. While you're turning there, I want to say how honored I am to be here tonight. my wife and I, this wonderful church,, with your wonderful pastor. Love you, Brother Robinson. Appreciate you and your wonderful family., Brother Parks, love you and your wife. And what a church this is., I'm so so humbled, so humbled to get to be here with you tonight. And I want God to have his way. I I really do. and I feel like God has given me clear direction for

tonight. And I'm going to preach as quick as I can tonight. Promise you that. Book of Psalms, chapter 119. And I read the first two verses this chapter. Blessed are the undefiled in the way who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies and that seek him with the whole heart. Would you say with the whole heart? And I want to use that for my title for the next little bit. With the whole heart. Would you lift up your hands with me one more time all over this house? Oh, come on. Prayer warriors. Would you help me pray for just a moment in this house? come on. Would you help me? Why don't you join up with somebody if it's appropriate? Come on. The one you're standing next to, would you open up your mouth? Oh, I need your help, God. I need your anointed, God. Oh, come on. Would you help me pray? Come on. I'm asking you sincerely tonight. Would you lift up your voice? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Now, would you give the Lord one more hand clap of praise? and be seated tonight. Thank you. Thank you for standing. You know, Brother Robinson, that's so that's so right. God only responds to people that respond to him. something about God. If you are truly serious about reaching out to him and getting a hold of him in this house, I promise you, you will leave with what you came looking for tonight. I I still I still believe that the God that we serve is moved by the feeling of our infirmities. I I believe I believe if we made up our mind tonight, I am not leaving until I get a touch, until I get delivered, until I get set free, until I get freedom from the addiction that has had me bound. I I'm telling you, if there was a man, if there was a woman in this house that would make up their mind, I will not leave how I came tonight, I promise you, you'd get exactly what you were looking for tonight. One one of the one of the the the worst the worst seasons of my life was was when I learned how to come to church and I learned how to go through the motions and I learned how to clap when everybody else was clapping. Learned how to say amen when everybody else was saying amen. But deep down in in my heart, I was so far away from God. One one of the worst things you can do is come to church and and not put your heart into what you're doing. One of the most miserable feelings that that you'll ever experience is laying your head on the pillow at night and realizing that whatever it was that you were doing that day that you did not give your all. You gave the bare minimum of what was required of you and just got through what you had to do. I I'm telling you as an evangelist, one of the worst feelings I've ever had. I'll be transparent with you tonight. It's it's pulling out of churches and pulling out of out of places WHERE I'VE SPENT SOME TIME AND REALIZING IF I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A LITTLE BIT MORE, IF I WOULD HAVE PRAYED A LITTLE BIT MORE, IF I WOULD HAVE FASTED A LITTLE BIT MORE. I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I WOULD HAVE REALLY PUT MY HEART. WELL, way I see it is if you're not going to put your heart and your spirit and your soul into what you are doing, then what is the point of EVEN DOING IT? I I'M TELLING YOU, THE WORLD TODAY IS SICK OF CHRISTIANITY WHERE PEOPLE COME IN AND THEY JUST PATTY CAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH A SERVICE. UNTIL THEY SAY THEY WENT TO CHURCH AND GO HOME AND NOTHING'S DIFFERENT AND NOTHING'S CHANGED AND NOTHING'S MOVE. I'LL TELL YOU WHAT OUR WORLD IS LOOKING FOR. IT'S LOOKING FOR A RED HOT OLD TIME APOSTOLIC CHURCH WHERE PEOPLE STILL GET HEALED AND PEOPLE STILL GET MY GOD. I WISH I HAD A WITNESS TONIGHT. WHEN YOU GOT THE HOLY GHOST, IT WASN'T IN A DEAD CHURCH. IT WASN'T IN A DRY CHURCH. IT WAS A CHURCH WHERE THE HOLY GHOST. HALLELUJAH. I I found it I found it so many so many times to be true that if I'm lazy and unconcerned and do not care about what happens in church, I'm telling you, nothing is going to happen for me. Even Even Solomon would write and he WOULD

SAY, "WHATSOEVER your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. DON'T DON'T DON'T JUST GET IN THERE AND AND AND AND PUT HALF YOUR HEART IN IT. DON'T DON'T GET IN THERE AND JUST PUT IN A LITTLE BIT OF EFFORT." HE SAID, "IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO IT, YOU REALLY NEED TO DO IT." IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO IT, YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR HEART INTO IT. I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU TODAY. IF I'M GOING TO WORSHIP, I REALLY WANT TO WORSHIP. IF I'M GOING TO PRAISE, I DON'T WANT TO PRAISE LAZY. I DON'T WANT TO PRAISE CUZ I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO. I WANT TO PRAISE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. HALLELUJAH. I remember I remember growing up being a teenager and playing basketball at the church and and and and we would have guys that would come in from the community and play basketball with us. And I'm telling you, one of the most frustrating things that you could ever experience is playing with somebody that did not care if they lost or if they won. I I I would I would rather have somebody on my team that maybe wasn't the most talented and didn't have the most ability, BUT THEY WOULD TRY AND THEY WOULD GIVE EFFORT. I'D RATHER HAVE THAT ANY DAY OF THE WEEK THAN SOMEBODY THAT WAS TALENTED, BUT DIDN'T PUT THEIR HEART INTO IT. I I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU IN THIS HOUSE TODAY. I KNOW OUR WORLD IS CASUAL ABOUT EVERYTHING. THEY DON'T PUT THEIR HEART INTO THEIR JOBS, INTO THEIR MARRIAGES, INTO THEIR RELATIONSHIPS. BUT I'M TELLING YOU, THE CHURCH HAS GOT TO MAKE UP THEIR MIND. IT'S NOT GOING TO GET IN HERE. THAT SPIRIT OF LAZINESS, THAT SPIRIT OF APATHY, IT WILL NOT FIND ITS I FEEL IT IN THIS HOUSEH. Come on. Why don't you lift up your hands for me in this house right now? Come on. Would you lift up your hands for me all over this house tonight? Hallelujah. I read this scripture a couple weeks back and I had never I had never seen it like this. I looked it up in a couple different translation. in Jeremiah chapter 48 and verse number 10 said it like this. Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully. Now, now anytime anytime in the Bible I see the word cursed, I I I want to I want to hit the pause button and I want to read and make sure that I don't somehow fall into that category. Now, that that that word that word deceitfully when it says you're cursed if you do the work of the Lord deceitfully, that word literally means slothful, slack, and with idle hands. Cursed is he, the G&T said it like this, cursed is he who does the work of the Lord, but does not do it with all their heart., cursed is he WHO DOES THE WORK OF THE LORD, BUT DOES NOT PUT HIS HEART INTO WHAT HE'S DOING. I'M PREACHING TO YOU. I CANNOT AFFORD TO PREACH AND NOT HAVE MY HEART IN THIS THING. I CANNOT AFFORD TO PRAY AND NOT HAVE MY HEART IN IT. I CAN'T AFFORD TO SING AND MY GOD, I DON'T CARE WHAT I'M DOING. IF I'M DOING IT FOR THE LORD, I WANT TO DO IT WITH ALL MY HEART. I WANT TO DO IT WITH ALL MY SOUL. How many times have I come to I come to the church to pray and I got down on my knees and I was casual and I was praying more to knock it off my list than to get a hold of God and to keep my relationship with him. I'm telling you, I remember a time I remember a time many years ago. I was 15, 16 years old and I went on a trip to Honduras with my dad, just me and my dad. And on that trip, my mother had drilled it into us anytime we anytime we would do any kind of overseas trip. There was something she'd say a hund times before we left, and that was this, don't lose your passport. Whatever you do, don't lose your passport. Now, I I I remember I remember a day that we was there on that trip and all of a sudden I got to thinking, where is my passport? You You talk about a You talk about a panic feeling. I I like Honduras, but I sure didn't want to stay there. And And I start digging through my luggage and boy, I can't find it. I'm looking that hotel room and I can't find it. And and with each place that I looked that I that I didn't find it, it was like the dread would just start building and

building and the fear would start building and building and and and and we'd go to restaurants that we ate at and coffee shops we went to and no matter where I went, it seemed that I COULD NOT FIND IT. I'M TELLING YOU THAT THE FEELING OF PANIC AND FEAR THAT WAS ON ME, I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE IT TO YOU. BUT I'LL NEVER FORGET the moment when I looked behind that zipper in my backpack that I forgot all about and I pulled out that beautiful navy blue passport and the relief instantly when I found it that washed over me. And I'm telling you, I felt the Holy Ghost speak to me and say, "Clark, when was the last time you sought me like that? When when when was the last time you got on your face and there was an urgency that got a hold of you that said, "MY GOD, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IF I DON'T FIND HIM TODAY? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IF HE DON'T ANSWER ME TODAY? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IF I DON'T HEAR FROM HIM TODAY? OH GOD, FORGIVE ME EVERY TIME THAT I'VE COME TO THE HOUSE OF GOD AND I DID NOT CARE WHAT HAPPENED." AND MY HEART WAS NOT IN IT. I'M TELLING SOMEBODY IN THIS HOUSE, THERE OUGHT TO BE A FEAR IN US TONIGHT ON WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF GOD DOES NOT DO EVERYTHING THAT HE WANTS TO DO TONIGHT. Come on, would you lift your hands? Lift your hands. Lift your hands. Come on, lift your hands. You'll be all over THIS HOUSE. OH, COME ON. LIFT UP YOUR HANDS. YOU'LL BE ALL OVER THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW. OH, help me God. Help me God. Help me God. Hallelujah. Nothing worse. Nothing worse than somebody who knows the truth, but they don't love it. Nothing. Nothing worse than somebody that that can use Deuteronomy 6 and4 and and instead of a tool of revelation they they use it as a weapon to cut and destroy and kill. I'M TELLING YOU IN FACT THE VERY SHAMA WHICH JESUS WOULD SAY IS THE FIRST OR THE GREATEST OF ALL THE COMMANDMENTS JESUS WOULD SAY IT'S THIS HERO. O ISRAEL THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD. YES. NOW, NOW, NOW FAR TOO MANY TODAY IN OUR APOSTOLIC CHURCHES, BOY, THEY CAN QUOTE IN WORD FOR WHAT'S THE GREATEST COMMAND. OH, HERE, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD. BUT I'VE COME TO PREACH TO YOU TODAY, THE SHAMA DOES NOT STOP WITH THAT THERE'S ONE LORD. BUT IT CONTINUES TO SAY, "AND THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY," YOU KNOW WHAT HE WAS SAYING? IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO KNOW THERE'S ONE GOD. YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE HIM. IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO KNOW WHY YOU GOT TO BE BAPTIZED. YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE IT. YOU'VE GOT TO GET YOUR HEART IN IT. How many times How many times does a man get behind this desk and say, "Oh, why don't you love him tonight? Why don't you lift your hands?" And boy, so many times we do it and and we do it begrudgingly and we do it and and the only reason we're doing IT IS BECAUSE SOMEBODY'S ASKING US TO DO IT. HOW MANY TIMES DOES OUR PASTOR STAND BEHIND THIS DESK AND SAY, "YOU OUGHT TO LIFT YOUR HANDS. YOU OUGHT TO CLAP YOUR HANDS WHEN WE DO IT CUZ WE'VE LEARNED TO DO IT." BUT THERE'S NOTHING IN US THAT'S MOVED. AND I'M TELLING YOU, I DON'T WANT TO JUST KNOW THIS DOCTRINE. I WANT TO LOVE THIS DOCTRINE. I DON'T WANT TO JUST KNOW THIS TRUTH. I WANT TO LOVE IT WITH ALL MY HEART. Let's love him. Come on. Why don't you put your heart into it right now? Come on. WHY DON'T YOU PUT YOUR HEART INTO THIS PRAYER RIGHT NOW? WOULD YOU LIFT UP YOUR HANDS? COME ON. WOULD YOU LIFT UP YOUR HANDS? WOULD YOU OPEN UP YOUR MOUTH? I'M DOING IT CUZ I LOVE HIM. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Let my heart be in this tonight, God. Oh, come on. HELP ME PRAY. LET MY HEART be in this, God.

Oh, don't let me go through the routines OF CHURCH, GOD. DON'T LET ME JUST LEARN HOW TO SHOUT AND LEARN HOW TO RUN AND LEARN HOW TO DANCE AND DO WITHOUT MY HEART BEING IN IT. GOD, I WANT MY HEART. He said in Deuteronomy 4:29, "If from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him." Anybody want to find him tonight? HE SAID, "YOU SHALL FIND HIM IF IF thou seek for him with all thy heart and with all thy soul." He said in Jeremiah 29 and13, "You shall SEEK ME AND FIND ME WHEN YOU SHALL SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART." HE WE ALREADY HEARD IT ONCE TONIGHT. HE SAID IT IN JAMES 5:16. IT'S THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS. THAT'S WHAT GETS GOD'S ATTENTION. IT'S WHEN PEOPLE PUT THEIR SOUL AND THEIR ENERGY AND THEIR effort I found out casual prayer don't move God. Well, we we we done heard her tonight. It It was Zakius that was so desperate to get the attention of Jesus. He was willing to do something no one else was willing to do. And he climbed up in that tree. It was Barameus that lifted up his voice AND BEGIN TO CRY OUT, "JESUS, THOU SON OF DAVID." YOU DON'T DO THAT KIND OF STUFF WHEN YOUR HEART'S NOT INVOLVED IN IT. I'M GOING TO PREACH TO YOU TONIGHT, NEW BETHL. THERE'S TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD FOR US TO COME TO CHURCH AND TO PATTY CAKE OUR WAY THROUGH. THERE'S TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS HOUSE TONIGHT THAT NEED A MIRACLE, THAT NEED THE HOLY GHOST, THAT NEED DELIVERANCE FOR US TO HAVE CASUAL CHURCH. I'M PREACHING TO YOU. WE'VE GOT TO PUT OUR HEART Mine goes to goes to two brothers, two twins in scripture. They they may have been twins, but can I tell you everything about them was different? One, in fact, the Bible would say that God loved and the other would say that God hated. How many how many times in in scripture do you read where God hated somebody? Not because one was necessarily better than the other or had more advantages than the other. Not because one had talent and had ability and personality and the other did not, but because one pursued and one did not pursue. One put his heart in it and the other did not put his heart in it. This verse is talking about a spirit that God approves of versus a spirit that God hates. Telling you, God loved Jacob's pursuit of him, but he hated Esau's lazy, apathetic, uncaring approach to the things of God. We don't read that Esau was immoral or evil or wicked. Really, his problem was even worse. He just didn't care. Things of God ain't no big deal. Moving of the spirit. If it happens, good. If it don't, let's try again next week. Spiritual things meant meant nothing to him. In fact, he would rather trade his birthright for a bowl of soup. He would he would rather satisfy a temporary appetite than to receive an eternal inheritance. Can can I tell you I don't I don't understand how people can be in an atmosphere where their life can change. So some of you some of you now now I don't I don't have to I don't have to any have any kind of spiritual gifts to know this tonight. There's people in this house tonight that come here really needing an answer from God. Now, now I know I know in every service some come out of out of routine. Some come because that's just what they do. But there are people that came here tonight and they really needed God to help them. I don't I don't I don't understand. I I remember I remember hearing about this guy was in a revival and and he went to the pastor and was telling them right there in front of me how talking about how bad his marriage was, talking about how how they THEY WERE THINKING ABOUT GETTING A DIVORCE. AND HE SAID, "I'VE GOT TO HAVE GOD HELP ME. I I'VE GOT TO HAVE GOD PUT THIS TOGETHER. BUT WHEN SERVICE WOULD BEGIN AND THEY WERE IN AN ATMOSPHERE WHERE GOD COULD FIX IT, I'D LOOK OVER AND THAT MAN

STANDING there unconcerned, unbothered, indifferent, refusing to move, REFUSING TO CHANGE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE CAN COME TO CHURCH AND THEY DON'T PUT THEIR HEART IN IT. I'M TELLING YOU WHAT HAPPENS HERE TONIGHT, IT IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. WHAT HAPPENS IN THERE? WE'VE GOT TO HAVE GOD MOVE. WELL, why don't you lift up your hands? Come on. Come on. Come on. I'll cut this thing short tonight. Why don't YOU LIFT UP YOUR hands with me tonight? COME ON. WOULD YOU HELP ME PRAY? COME ON. I'M ASKING SOMEBODY IN THIS HOUSE. WOULD YOU PUT YOUR HEART INTO THIS PRAYER? COME ON. I'VE COME TO PREACH THE SPIRIT OF APATHY OUT OF THE BUILDING TONIGHT. I'VE COME TO PREACH THAT LAZY SPIRIT OUT OF THE BUILDING. NOT IN THIS CHURCH, NOT IN YOUR FAMILY. I tell y'all You know, I don't I don't I don't understand I don't understand sometimes how people can come into the house of God and boy, they they they can work so hard on their job and and they can be high achievers and and they would never let anybody else do their job. THEY THEY WOULD ALWAYS THEY WOULD NEVER LET SOMEBODY ELSE TAKE UP THEIR SLACK. BUT I'VE SEEN GROWN MEN COME TO CHURCH AND THEY SIT BACK AND LET THEIR WIVES LEAD AND LET THEIR CHILDREN LEAD. I'VE SEEN PEOPLE COME TO CHURCH. I WANT TO TELL YOU THE BIBLE SAYS IF A MAN DOES NOT WORK, HE DOES NOT EAT. I'M TELLING YOU, IT'S TRUE SPIRITUALLY TONIGHT. IF I COME TO CHURCH AND I WON'T GET INVOLVED AND I WON'T PRAY, I CAN'T EXPECT TO BE FED. Let's love him tonight. My God. Oh god. Oh, come on. Let's love him in this house. Oh, come on. Do I have anybody that'll reach out for him in this house? Come on. David said, "WHEN YOU SAID, "SEEK MY FACE," MY HEART SAID, "MY THY FACE, LORD, WILL I SEEK." I'M TELLING YOU, I WANT GOD TO KNOW I'M WILLING TO SEEK YOU. I DON'T CARE HOW LONG IT TAKES. I DON'T CARE HOW HARD IT IS. I'VE GOT TO GET A HOLD OF YOU TONIGHT. Oh God. Oh God. Brother Robinson, I can't I can't tell you tonight how hungry I am for greater. I can't tell you how hungry I am for revival. I can't TELL YOU HOW HUNGRY I AM. AND I'M TELLING YOU ONE THING I FOUND. IF I'M WILLING TO BE HUNGRY AND NOT JUST BE HUNGRY, BUT I'M WILLING TO PUT SOME EFFORT BEHIND IT AND I'M WILLING TO PUT SOME TIME. I'M TELLING YOU, THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A TIME THAT GOD DID NOT ANSWER MY PRAYER. To tell you who worships, don't put his heart in it. cursed to see who the work of the Lord. I believe I'm I believe I'm cursed if I can learn to preach and go through the mechanics of preaching but not put my heart in it. How could I How could I do something as serious as what we're doing tonight and not have my heart in it? RIGHT? HOW HOW CAN I COME UP WHEN THERE'S YOUNG PEOPLE THAT NEED DELIVERANCE AND NEED THE HOLY GHOST AND NEED A HOW CAN I COME IN THIS HOUSE AND NOT BE CONCERNED WITH WHAT HAPPENS?

Brother Robinson, know we're following the Holy Ghost, but I'm telling you, I will not pull out of this parking lot with any regrets. I I telling you, there have been times that I've I've pulled out of churches. I know I said it, but I I want to say it again, and I thought, you didn't give your all. You know, you didn't. You didn't pray as much as you should have prayed. What what would have happened if you would have put everything into that revival? What would have happened if you'd have put your soul into it? What would have happened if you'd have put your heart and your effort? Every person that needs the Holy Ghost, they got to get it. I I want to I want to preach to this church with a burden in my heart. And I'm telling you, there's some of you remember you remember how sweet it was back when your heart used to be in it. Oh, God. You You remember how wonderful it was when you look forward to church? I'm telling you what life does. Life tries to take the joy out of living for God. Life tries to take the the pleasure out of serving God. There was a day in your life when it was I get to go to prayer. Somehow now it's I have to go to prayer. I have to go to church. I'm telling you that's not God's will for your life. I I heard it. I heard it my whole life, but there's such a difference between hearing it and receiving it for yourself. They would always say this. It's hard to live for God easy, but it's easy to live for God hard. I'm telling you, there's something about it when when when the church is here and the world is here and I'm trying to serve him like this, your contentment and your joy and your happiness if you get both feet in this thing. Let me take it better than putting both feet in. If you put your heart in this thing, oh my God, I I'm telling you, it gets so much better. Serving for God, it's it's like when you first got the Holy Ghost, it's sweet. It's wonderful. It's new. It's refreshing. I'm preaching to somebody in this house. That's where God is wanting to take you back to tonight. God's wanting to take you back to the place where you've put your heart into it. Lift your hands be all over this house tonight. Oh God, come on. Lift up your hands with me. Oh. Oh. Come on. Would you help me pray all over this house right now? I'm done preaching. Come on. Would you help me? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on. Would you help me pray in this house for just I know it's late. Come on. But would you help me pray in this house for just a moment? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on. Let's stand all over this house tonight. Come on. Let's be sensitive to the Holy Ghost. I'm asking you. Come on. Listen to me. When you come to this front, I'm asking you only come if you're going to bring your whole heart with you tonight. Come on. If you're not going to bring your mind and your energy and your effort, come on. You just stay in the pew tonight. I I'm reaching for somebody in this house. COME ON.
